Jack Harlow Gets Ready To Testify In Court Regarding Nightclub Fatal Shooting

Rapper Jack Harlow will be going to court soon.

The chart-topper is scheduled to testify about his involvement in a deadly shootout at the Vibes Restaurant and Ultra Lounge on May 1, the eve of the 2021 Kentucky Darby.

A lawsuit, filed in December 2021 by the victim’s family, names the restaurant and lounge and its owner Allen Evans III as defendants, WDRB reports.

According to CBS, Ronnie O’Bannon, the DJ for the “First Class” recording artist, is charged with the murder of one of the bartenders at the establishment.

Kasmira Nash was shot and killed while on the job.

AllHipHop.com reported Harlow took to his Instagram stories after her death to share his sympathies. He wrote:

My heart is broken by the events that occurred over Derby weekend. My heart breaks for Kasmira, her children, and everyone else touched by this tragic death. My heart breaks for my city, a place that’s been through too much pain already. I’ve been in touch with Kasmira’s family during this unimaginably painful time, and I’m grateful to them for keeping the lines of communication open. Nothing can reverse what happened. Too many lives have been changed forever. My life will remain committed to making Louisville a better place.

The lawsuit alleges the Louisville nightclub did not do enough to protect her.

O’Bannon, who is also known by the name Ronnie Lucciano, turned himself in to authorities almost two weeks after the incident. He was indicted on murder charges and one charge of tampering with evidence.

The DJ says he acted in self-defense and shot Nash because she tried to attack him with a champagne bottle. His lawyer said around the time of the indictment, “there is no dispute,” regarding his being attacked and the fact he “defended himself.”

While this might have been self-defense, the DJ is named in another fatal shooting at the Shiverly gentleman’s club the year prior.

On Aug. 31, 2020, he allegedly shot and killed a different individual.

The prosecution made note of this, writing in court notes, “Although charges have not yet been filed in that case, it sets a troubling pattern of Mr. O’Bannon going to nightclubs and leaving someone dead behind.”

Troy Ave, Maino & China Mac Walk Into A Bar…The Jokes Write Themselves!

UPDATE: Somehow Wack100 got in the mix. And Maino is not playing with him. He wants to FIGHT. It seems like Wack has jokes, but Maino is not playing. This all happened on a live hosted by China Mac. I hope these guys don’t do any if this. It sure seems like they might “get down.”

All of this played out in the comments section. Peep:

And then…Maino used a few words we don’t use too much these days. Well, what does Wack do? Something wack! He tags Fox Soul, who hosts Maino’s show, “Maino Presents: Kitchen Talk.” This was seemingly in an effort to get his show dropped. Most people were not cool with this maneuver.

The Old Story Is Below…

Troy Ave and Maino are going back and forth.

Now, this is getting more and more crazy, but this is where we are right now. So, basically Maino “obtained” a chain that is allegedly Troy Ave’s from the night that would eventually land Taxstone in prison for manslaughter. Also, Troy Ave’s bodyguard dead. So, Maino claims it is fake and Troy Ave seems to be very intent on making sure we know it is real. So he made a video about it.

Like to hear it? Hear it go!

Maino is very much out side. So he had a response that seems to be directed to Troy.

I think he’s telling Troy Ave to come outside, but the verdict is still out. I am not sure that that would be a good ideal considering how hot it feels.

GloRilla Talks Wanting To Model Her Career After Rihanna, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift & Bad Bunny

Less than a year ago, GloRilla went from a local Memphis artist to national recognition thanks to the “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” single with record producer Hitkidd.

“F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” hit DSPs like Apple Music and YouTube on April 29, 2022. Since that time, GloRilla’s breakout hit earned the southern rapper a Grammy Award nomination for Best Rap Performance.

GloRilla quickly followed up the success of “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” by linking up with Bronx-bred Hip Hop superstar Cardi B for “Tomorrow 2” which peaked at No. 9 on the weekly Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The music industry began to formally recognize GloRilla’s meteoric rise. Spotify named her a 2023 “Most Necessary” Artist. Apple Music promoted her as an “Up Next” act. Glo also won Best Breakthrough Hip-Hop Artist at the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards and Best New Hip-Hop Artist at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

GloRilla Wants To Be Among The Big Dogs

After scoring industry awards and Top 10 entries, it appears Big Glo still aims even higher for her career. The CMG recording artist recently spoke to Apple Music’s Ebro Darden about her ascent and her future.

The interview with the streaming platform included Darden asking GloRilla for examples of stars she sees as inspirations for her trajectory as a celebrity. The 23-year-old newcomer responded, “Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny. They’re big dogs.”

She also added, “I know Rihanna is a legend, I know she’s iconic, but when she performed at the Super Bowl, she didn’t perform a lot of songs, and the songs she did perform, all of them were hits. This lady got so many hits… So I’m trying to come like that.”

GloRilla could be on her way to iconic status. The Yo Gotti protégé kicked off her initial run as a major label-signed performer with 2022’s Anyways, Life’s Great… EP. That 9-track body of work came out via Collective Music Group/Interscope Records.

Tone Lōc Explains What Led To Bone Thugs-n-Harmony Beef

Tone Lōc doesn’t consent to many interviews, but he recently granted one to the Art of Dialogue. During the conversation, the “Wild Thing” rapper was asked about a claim Krayzie Bone made about him in a 2014 interview with SiriusXM. Essentially, the Bone Thugs-n-Harmony MC said he and his group had a rather cold interaction with him when they first started looking for a record deal.

“They had came to my house at like two in the morning,” Tone said. “Like, come on cuh. Two in the morning? They came to my house two in the morning from wherever they are, off the plane, talking about whatever they had to say. ‘Man, I don’t know y’all. F### y’all. Get on.’ On the real. It’s late. That song…and I’m glad they blew up and did what they had to do. They found Eazy or Dr. Dre and they went on and did they thing.”

As they all went their separate ways, the hard feelings continued for decades. In fact, Tone Lōc said they didn’t squash their beef until 2022.

“We always had a problem up until about maybe the end of last year,” he said. “One of ’em, we had did a show together. One of them came up—couldn’t tell you which one it is—and said, ‘You know what Tone, I have to apologize to you.'”

As Tone continued, he explained it was well-documented he lived right on Olympic Boulevard in Los Angeles, so he was constantly getting people coming to his home unannounced.

“I was real easy to find,” he said. “I’m living on the Boulevard. He came and he said, ‘I have to respect you.’ Because his record had gone big and now he has experienced that life. Everybody got a record and everybody nephew or niece…you know, everybody got a song. I got the No. 1 song. He was like, ‘I see that now. And I apologize for coming over there to your house so late and I get exactly what you were talking about. Let’s kill it.’ And we just shook. Boom. We probably blew one and we chilled out.”

Bone Thugs’ career worked out how it was meant to work out. Eazy-E was interested in them and signed the group to a deal with Ruthless Records in 1993. Bone Thugs then released their inaugural EP, Creepin’ On Ah Come Up, in 1994 and landed a hit with “Thuggish Ruggish Bone.” The following year, the group released its second album, E. 1999 Eternal, which included “1st of tha Month,” “Tha Crossroads” and “East 1999.” “Tha Crossroads”, a tribute to Eazy-E who had died months before its release, won a Grammy Award in 1997.

FX Drops Teaser For Tupac & Afeni Shakur Docuseries ‘Dear Mama’

Back in 1995, Tupac “2Pac” Shakur released a song titled “Dear Mama” off the Me Against the World album. Library of Congress’s National Recording Registry classified that personal track dedicated to the Hip Hop icon’s mother, Afeni Shakur, as “culturally, historically, or aesthetically” significant to the United States.

Director Allen Hughes explores Tupac Shakur and Afeni Shakur’s relationship in the forthcoming Shakur Estate-backed Dear Mama documentary series. The FX network will air the first two episodes of the 5-part series on April 21 at 10 pm ET/PT.

“Wherever possible, we tried to find archival footage that hadn’t been seen so there’s a lot that we have in the five parts,” said Hughes about Dear Mama during FX’s TCA presentation earlier this year. “There’s also audio that’s never been heard.”

Hughes continued, “And not just some of his acapellas and vocals, there is a lot of stuff of Tupac from his baby years that had never been seen. For Tupac superfans, I believe that two of the most important things in the project [are] the never seen before. But most importantly, you get to understand why he made certain decisions.”

Tupac Shakur Once Admitted to Attacking Allen Hughes And His Brother

Allen Hughes is one-half of The Hughes Brothers directorial team with Albert Hughes. The siblings’ filmography includes 1993’s Menace II Society, 1995’s Dead Presidents, 1999’s American Pimp, and 2010’s The Book of Eli.

Additionally, Allen Hughes oversaw HBO’s The Defiant Ones television documentary series. That four-part program covered the careers of Beats Electronics co-founders/music indurtsy heavyweights Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre.

Allen Hughes also has a direct connection to the late Tupac Shakur. While appearing on a 1993 episode of Yo! MTV Raps, 2Pac admitted to assaulting The Hughes Brothers over losing his role in the Menace II Society film.

Tupac Amaru Shakur put out four full-length studio LPs before his death in September 1996. Numerous posthumous projects arrived after gunmen killed the 25-year-old entertainer in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas. Afeni Shakur passed away in 2016 at the age of 69.

Lifetime Releases Trailer For ‘TLC Forever’ Documentary

TLC Forever will premiere on Saturday, June 3. The Lifetime documentary covers the careers of Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas.

An official trailer for TLC Forever arrived this week. The 102-second teaser video features appearances by T-Boz, Chilli, Academy Award winner Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson, and Hip Hop legend Missy Elliott.

Lifetime and A&E will simulcast the two-hour, Matthew Kay-directed TLC Forever. Viewers will get to either discover or relive the hurdles and triumphs the “Waterfalls” hitmakers faced during their run to the top of the music business.

T-Boz, Left Eye, and Chilli formed TLC in the early 1990s. Industry veteran Perri “Pebbles” Reid began managing the trio. Pebbles eventually helped them secure a label deal with Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds and Antonio “L.A.” Reid’s LaFace Records.

TLC’s debut album, Ooooooohhh… On the TLC Tip, dropped in 1992. Two years later, the Atlanta-based girl group returned with CrazySexyCool. TLC scored their first No. 1 on the Billboard 200 when 1999’s FanMail debuted atop the chart.

The Recording Industry Association of America certified FanMail as 6x-Platinum. CrazySexyCool managed to earn a Diamond Award from the RIAA by earning 12x-Platinum status. Additionally, TLC has four No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

VH1 aired CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story biographical television movie in 2013. Keke Palmer played Chilli, Niatia “Lil Mama” Kirkland played Left Eye, and Drew Sidora played T-Boz. The cast also included Rochelle Aytes, Evan Ross, and Carl Anthony Payne II.

Despite all the commercial success, TLC’s story also has tragedy. Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes died in April 2002 at the age of 30. She passed away from a car accident in La Ceiba, Honduras. T-Boz and Chilli went on to put out the 3D album with posthumous vocals by Left Eye in October 2002.

Donald Glover Talks Mentoring Malia Obama

Donald Glover is one of the creative minds behind Amazon’s Swarm series. The Atlanta-raised entertainer hired former First Daughter Malia Ann Obama for the show.

Malia Obama served as a Swarm staff writer. The eldest child of former POTUS Barack Obama and former FLOTUS Michelle Obama also received a “teleplay by” credit for her contribution to the thriller.

GQ recently published a feature article about Donald Glover. The piece included Glover discussing mentoring Malia Obama as she prepares to release a short film via his Gilga production company.

“The first thing we did was talk about the fact that she will only get to do this once. You’re Obama’s daughter. So if you make a bad film, it will follow you around,” Donald Glover told the magazine.

Previously, Georgia-bred actress Chlöe Bailey of Chloe x Halle talked about her experiences working with Malia Obama on Swarm. The In Pieces album creator praised Obama for her personal growth and writing abilities.

“Seeing Malia on set and then seeing how we both have evolved as our own young women, it’s pretty cool. And I’m so proud of her and how she is just like a force to be reckoned with, with such an incredible pen. She’s amazing,” stated Chlöe Bailey.

In addition to Swarm, Donald Glover created the Primetime Emmy Award-winning Atlanta which ran for four seasons on FX. Glover has won five Grammy Awards, including Record Of The Year (“This Is America”), as the Hip Hop artist Childish Gambino.

Lil Wayne Teases Upcoming Collab With LSU Star Flau’jae Johnson

LSU freshman Flau’jae Johnson just can’t lose!

As if finishing the basketball season as a national champion wasn’t enough, the 19-year-old aspiring Hip-Hop artist has apparently snagged herself a feature with one of the genre’s biggest names. According to Lil Wayne, he and Flau’jae have something in the works.

The Young Money honcho teased an upcoming collab during LSU’s Final Four matchup against Virginia Tech on Friday (Mar. 31).

“Actually, me and Flau’jae, we’ve spoken, but we about to connect musically soon,” Lil Wayne revealed. “That’s shoutout to Miss Kim [Mulkey] too. Because Kim told me, ‘you must do something with my girl Flau’jae.’ I was like ‘say less.’”

Flau’jae, clearly living out her wildest dreams, shared the clip-on Twitter Tuesday. “Imagine Winning A National Championship Your FRESHMAN Year! Then Getting A Lil Wayne Feature Right After ??! What is life,” she tweeted.

One of her fellow LSU players, Angel Reese, who has seen her fair share of headlines over the national championships, wants in on the collab. However, she doesn’t want to feature as an artist. “Just let me be the video vixen 😭🤣,” she jokingly tweeted.

If that wasn’t enough, another musical giant also offered his services for whatever Lil Wayne and Flau’jae have going on. “And just let me do the humming,” NBA YoungBoy wrote in response to Angel’s tweet.

After revealing she manifested the national championship win and her 2023 SEC Freshman of the Year award, Flau’joe admitted she has one other goal to check off.

“I told @espn I wanted to win a National championship and a Grammy by the time I finish college ! IM HALFWAY THERE !!” she tweeted

With a potential Lil Wayne collab on the way, anything is possible for the talented young woman.

Remy Ma & Daughter Surprise Mary J. Blige In Sweet Tribute To Singer’s “Generational Impact”

Remy Ma and her daughter paid tribute to Mary J. Blige after surprising the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul during a recent interview.

The mom-and-daughter duo popped out in matching outfits to pay tribute to the singer during Monday’s (Apr. 3) episode of “The Drew Barrymore Show.”

When Drew Barrymore asked what it’s like being best friends with Mary J. Blige, Remy Ma explained that the songstress surpassed her expectations and revealed they have a friendship “so real” that their get-togethers often end up in tears.

“Not only is she everything that I thought she would be, like, she’s like past that,” Remy explained before her best friend leaned in for a hug. “Oh, Remy, I love you too,” Mary added. “You know how much I love you.”

Remy Ma explained, “You don’t just see,” Mary J. Blige, but “You feel her,” and opened up about what the singing icon means to her and others. She spoke on her legacy, stating, “I don’t even know if she’s aware of how many people that she touched.

“My daughter’s 4-year-old, I can’t, I don’t even know how she latched onto Mary like that,” Remy said. “One day she has this song called ‘Amazing’ and she keeps playing the song over and I’m like ‘How do you know this song?’ She’s like, ‘Yeah, that’s Mary.’ ”

Remy Ma Gives Mary J. Blige Her Flowers

Among the topics discussed on the show was Mary’s new children’s book, “Mary Can!” which empowers young children to pursue their dreams. Remy used the book as an example of Mary’s “generational impact,” and explained how it reinforces her daughter’s “big dreams.”

“Those are the things that we need to install into the youth,” Remy said, saluting Mary J. Blige.

“When people see us as celebrities go through hell on television, it’s public,” Mary explained when asked about her impact on younger women. “Our divorce is public. Our falls are public, our embarrassments are public and then they see us come through. That’s the yes. That’s, that’s the “Yes you can,” that’s the “If I can do it, you can do it.”

Daz Dillinger Claims Suge Knight Once Paid Him $2.5 Million But Had To “Strong Arm” It Out Of Him

Daz Dillinger says Suge Knight gave him his biggest-ever payday, but he had to use force to get his $2.5 million.

The west coast icon who made up half of Tha Dogg Pound recalled a story about the biggest check he’s ever received during a recent interview with Home Grown Media Group. According to Daz Dillinger, Suge Knight owed him and Kurupt the seven-figure sum but didn’t want to stump up the cash, so they allegedly went and took the check from him.

“S###, I got a check for like $2.3 million from Suge Knight,” Daz replied when asked about his biggest paycheck. “Delmar Arnaud, Suge Knight, Death Row Records, $2.5 million. I had to give Kurupt some too.”

Daz continued, “I had to go in and strong arm Suge to get the money. I had everybody in they office hemmed up against the wall, n####. We on mushrooms. We in that muthafucka lit! N#### in the corner laughing. I felt a little something, n####, I ran, ahhh! Had a big ass muthafukin’ diesel screwdriver. You know them big long diesel screwdrivers?”

Daz Dillinger claimed he and Kurupt wanted to be paid for their song with Nate Dogg on the soundtrack to the 1996 film Sunset Park, “Just Doggin’.” However, “they was playing with the money.”

Daz Dillinger Confronts Suge Knight

Daz said he, Kurupt, and Lil Malik Hershey Loc “went up there to get the money,” and “had everybody hemmed up,” before Suge walked into the office. “The way his eyes looked, it seemed like he was gon’ do something to me,” he explained.

Nonetheless, Daz Dillinger said though the situation was heated, he and Suge Knight were able to resolve things after a talk, and he ultimately got his check.

“So he put his arm around me, and I put my arm around him. Like, ‘N####, I’ma stick you.’ He was like, ‘Hold on Daz, hold on. Just go in the office.’ And I walked out of there with $2.5.” Check out the clip below and the interview at the end of the page.

Little did they know, but just a few hours later, the check would save them from jail time. As Daz explained, after leaving Suge Knight, the group ran into the law.

“Me, Kurupt, and Lil Hershey Loc was driving from Death Row,” Daz said. “I ain’t got no license. I got an ounce of cat p###. It’s some weed called cat p###, it’s so smelly, this s### bomb! You can’t get it from nowhere.”

Cops pulled them over and made them get out of the car before asking if there was weed inside. That was until they saw the check.

“Dude come and say, ‘Is this real?’ I said, ‘Yeah, it’s real.’ He said, ‘Well just stomp the weed out, cash that muthafucka and go get your license.’”

EXCLUSIVE: Taxstone’s Sentencing Date Scheduled Following Manslaughter Conviction

After a controversial trial, the sentencing date for podcast personality Taxstone has been scheduled for April 19, 2023, following his conviction on charges related to a deadly shooting at Irving Plaza.

Taxstone, whose real name is Daryl Campbell, was found guilty of first-degree manslaughter and other counts but was acquitted of second-degree murder and other counts.

The trial took place in March of 2023.

The events leading up to the Irving Plaza shooting were rooted in a feud between Taxstone and rapper Troy Ave. The conflict came to a tragic head on May 25, 2016, when a shooting occurred at the venue during a T.I. concert.

The violent incident resulted in the death of Troy Ave’s bodyguard, Ronald McPhatter, and injured several others.

During the trial, Troy Ave, whose real name is Roland Collins, took the stand to testify against Taxstone. This testimony was pivotal in the case’s outcome, providing key evidence linking Taxstone to the shooting.

The two have a history of animosity, and their dispute had been well-documented on social media and in interviews before the tragic event.

Taxstone is also awaiting sentencing for federal gun crimes stemming from the shooting.

Between October 2015 and May 25, 2016, Taxstone illegally obtained a Keltec 9mm semi-automatic handgun outside New York.

Despite a previous felony conviction barring him from possessing firearms, Tax carried the gun to Irving Plaza and confronted Troy Ave leading to the shooting death of McPhatter.

Campbell was arrested on January 17, 2017, and has been in federal custody since. He pleaded guilty to both counts of the indictment, which include receiving a firearm in interstate commerce with intent to commit another felony and possessing a firearm after a previous felony conviction.

Each count carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.

Rich Homie Quan Apologizes For Calling Out Roddy Ricch; Says They Settled Issue

Rich Homie Quan quickly settled his beef with Roddy Ricch.

The former Rich Gang member accused Roddy Ricch of getting Rich Homie Quan removed from DJ Drama’s “FMFU” song in a since-deleted Instagram video on Tuesday (April 4). Hours later, Rich Homie Quan issued an apology after speaking with Roddy Ricch.

“Just got off the phone with @roddyricch,” he wrote on Instagram Stories. “Everything is smooth we settled it like men and I want to apologize for my position at the moment and take this opportunity to show everyone that through conversations we can have solutions.”

Roddy Ricch denied any responsibility for Rich Homie Quan’s absence from “FMFU.” The Atlantic Records artist explained his involvement in the song in an Instagram Stories post.

“@RICHHOMIEQUAN YOU TOO OLD FOR THIS INTERNET S### BUT I AINT EVEN KNOW U WAS ON THE PHONE,” he wrote. “I SENT DRAMA THE HOOK AND LET THEM DO THE REST. AINT NEVER BEEN NO N#### TO STOP NOBODY FROM EATING ESPECIALLY A N#### ION EVEN KNOW. IM AROUND THO CHAMP.”

DJ Drama’s “FMFU” featured Gucci Mane, Lil Wayne and Roddy Ricch. The track appeared on the DJ’s new album I’m Really Like That, which dropped in March.

Snoop Dogg Exits FaZe Clan’s Board Of Directors Amid Company’s Wall Street Struggles

Snoop Dogg stepped away from the e-sports organization FaZe Clan a year after joining the company’s board of directors.

FaZe Clan disclosed Snoop Dogg’s departure in an SEC filing on Tuesday (April 4). Dexerto was the first to report on his resignation.

“On March 29, 2023, Calvin ‘Snoop Dogg’ Broadus, Jr. notified FaZe Holdings Inc. (the ‘Company’) that he is resigning from the Board of Directors (the ‘Board’) of the Company effective immediately,” FaZe Clan’s SEC filing noted. “Mr. Broadus’s resignation was not the result of any disagreement with the Company or any of its subsidiaries.”

Snoop Dogg joined FaZe Clan in March 2022. He credited his son Cordell Broadus for making the deal a reality.

“It only makes sense to partner with FaZe Clan as both a team member and on the board of directors,” the rapper said last year. “The youth identifies with their brand and that’s something my son Cordell knew, which is why he brought us together.”

Snoop Dogg exited FaZe Clan during a tough time for the company, which has seen its stock prices plummet. The e-sports organization recently reported a $53.2 million loss and faces delisting from NASDAQ if its stock prices don’t improve in the coming months.

Meet Flau’jae Johnson: The Only Commercial Rapper To Ever Win An NCAA Title

When the rap world first met a young Flau’jae Johnson, she did not have an LSU jersey on or a basketball in her hand. She was a cast member of Jermaine Dupri’s “Rap Game” (Season 3) reality show on Lifetime. Her fierce competitiveness and lyricism set her apart from many in her season with notable artists like Fabolous, Rick Ross, and John John Da Don.

John John Da Don, owner of Bull Pen Battle Rap League, said he remembers meeting the emcee when she was a shorty.

“I remember being Flau’jae battle rap mentor on ‘The Rap Game’ and seeing how locked in she was on winning,” the battle emcee said. “This was before I knew she played basketball … but seeing her become a national champion makes all the sense in the world to me.”

“She is just an all-around pure talent and I believe once she sets her mind on something nothing can get in her way,” he added, before saying, “Congrats to Flau’jae & the LSU lady tigers on winning the 2023 NCAA WOMENS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.”

Then a tiny tike, she said she wanted to make her late father, Savannah rapper Camouflage, proud.

AllHipHop.com interviewed the emcee back around this time.

Camouflage was murdered in 2003 at the age of 21, right at the time his career was taking off. He had already charted on two different charts on Billboard and had nothing but promise for his future. Unfortunately, he was fatally shot while walking with Flau’jae’s brother—then a toddler—outside his recording studio.

Her mother was pregnant with Flau’jae when he was killed.

After the “Rap Game,” Flau’jae also was cast on another musical reality show, “America’s Got Talent.” While she won the judges over with her song, “Guns Down,” it wasn’t until she hit them with “I Can’t Lose” that she got the golden buzzer and four standing ovations.

Simon Caldwell even said she was one of his favorite performances ever.

Though she was eliminated in the quarterfinals, she walked away with the honor of being one of only 9 contestants to receive the golden buzzer and signed to Roc Nation.

Now, as a player on the 2023 NCAA Championship team, Flau’jae is at the top in a different way… as an athlete.

On Sunday, Apr. 2, her team beat out Iowa State for the title. After they won, the arena filled up with cheers, excitement, and the LSU freshwoman’s song “Big 4” played in celebration.

The artist/ athlete said the feeling was surreal.

She tweeted, “I’m in a dream.”

If her goal was to make her father proud, mission accomplished.

Rich Homie Quan Disses Roddy Ricch; Airs Grievances Over Being Cut From DJ Drama Song

Rich Homie Quan blamed Roddy Ricch for the Atlanta-bred rapper’s removal from DJ Drama’s “FMFU” song.

“FMFU” featuring Gucci Mane, Lil Wayne and Roddy Ricch appeared on DJ Drama’s latest album I’m Really Like That, which dropped on March 31. Rich Homie Quan said he recorded a verse for the song in November but was told Roddy Ricch didn’t want the former Rich Gang member on the track.

“They say, ‘Well Quan you know I ain’t trying to start no industry s### – Roddy Ricch wanted you off the song,’” Rich Homie Quan recalled in an Instagram video. “Man, I ain’t even met Roddy! I ain’t never met Roddy! I ain’t even know he felt some type of way about me.”

He continued, “But if he do, since he do – man, Roddy got that ‘Box’ song. I bet his catalog can’t f### with mine on nan’ day. And that’s on all the money he got in the bank … I’ll put $10 million to his $1 million. His catalog can’t f### with mine.”

Rich Homie Quan wished someone would’ve reached out to let him know he wasn’t going to be on the song. He directed most of his frustration at Roddy Ricch, disparaging the Atlantic Records artist in the social media rant.

“Roddy, since you wanted me off the song, man, s###, I’ll go back and forth: catalog [vs.] catalog,” he declared. “You ain’t got nothing but that ‘Box’ s### ‘cause all that other s### wack. I bet you can’t f### with me on your worst day, boy!”

Donald Trump Pleads Not Guilty To 34 Felony Counts In Historic Indictment

Donald Trump faced charges of falsifying business records in the first degree at a Manhattan courtroom on Tuesday (April 4).

The former president pleaded not guilty to a 34-count indictment, which was unsealed on Tuesday. The indictment accused Trump of falsifying business records in an attempt to hide “damaging information” during the 2016 presidential election.

“The People of the State of New York allege that Donald J. Trump repeatedly and fraudulently falsified New York business records to conceal crimes that hid damaging information from the voting public during the 2016 presidential election,” Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg said in a statement. “Manhattan is home to the country’s most significant business market. We cannot allow New York businesses to manipulate their records to cover up criminal conduct.”

Bragg added, “As the Statement of Facts describes, the trail of money and lies exposes a pattern that, the People allege, violates one of New York’s basic and fundamental business laws. As this office has done time and time again, we today uphold our solemn responsibility to ensure that everyone stands equal before the law.”

Trump was released from custody after pleading not guilty. His next in-person court date is scheduled for December 4.

Last week, a New York grand jury indicted Trump. The twice-impeached politician became America’s first former president to ever be hit with criminal charges.
