Connecticut-based rapper Dante Tweaks is making waves in the industry with his unique blend of up-tempo trap beats and hard-hitting lyrics. He has just announced that he has signed a new distribution deal with EMPIRE, a major label in the music industry. This is a big deal for Tweaks, who has been working hard to make a name for himself in the music world.
One of the things that makes this new deal so exciting is that Tweaks’ latest release, “Why Can’t I Fall In love?” was crafted entirely in his own recording studio, Howell Records Studios, in Downtown New Britain, CT. This shows that you don’t need to be in a big, fancy recording studio to create great music. All you need is talent, dedication, and some know-how.
Speaking of know-how, Tweaks has been working closely with his producer, Ayo. Sev, to ensure his latest single is his best work yet. With careful attention paid to every detail, from the beats to the lyrics to the overall vibe of the album, Tweaks and Sev have created a masterpiece that will appeal to fans of all kinds of music.
Of course, it takes more than just great music to make it in the music industry – you also need to get your music out there and in front of as many people as possible. That’s where the distribution deal with EMPIRE comes in. As one of the industry’s biggest and most influential labels, EMPIRE has the resources and connections needed to help Tweaks reach a wider audience than ever before.
This is especially important for Tweaks, who has worked hard to establish himself in the Connecticut music scene. While the music scene in the state is just starting to boom, Tweaks has already made a name for himself with notable performances and collaborations, including a recent single release with famous influencer SPIDERCUZ called “MADOFF”. This kind of buzz and momentum caught EMPIRE’s attention, which is what will help Tweaks take his career to the next level.
One of the things that Tweaks is most proud of is that he owns his own recording studio, which takes clients from all over Connecticut. This shows how dedicated he is to his craft and how committed he is to helping other artists achieve their dreams. Tweaks know that the music industry is a business and approaches it with full intentions and heart. However, he never gives up, always stays true to himself, and has found a team that he can lock in with to achieve his goals.
That team includes not just his producer but also his fans and supporters, who have been with him every step of the way. They helped him get to where he is today, and he knows he wouldn’t be there without them. That’s why he’s so excited about this new distribution deal with EMPIRE: it’s a chance for him to reach even more people with his music and to share his message of love, hope, and resilience with the world. So for now, fans can look forward to the release of Tweaks’ new single, Why Can’t I Fall In Love?, which drops on February 25th.
Latto found herself defending her celebrations after she was trolled for marking the success of her new pop single, “Lottery.”
The “Big Energy” hitmaker took to Twitter on Monday (Feb. 27) to share her success with her fans after “Lottery” entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 83. Her collaborator Congolese-Canadian singer/songwriter LU KALA also joined the celebrations. “This is my 1st time ever charting, I’m crying rn🥹😭🙏🏾🧡 Wow!” she penned.
Latto – Lottery Ft. LU KALA
However, not everybody was pleased for the duo, with some dragging Latto for her chart position.
“You’re 83# and you’re celebrating. Girl you’re really ridiculous,” one person tweeted before deleting. “In your place I won’t do that and you dare to say you’re a flourishing rapper.”
However, Latto caught the tweet before the user took it down and clapped back.
“You’re not in my place & never will be b##### leave De-Lu Lu land!” she replied. “Bunch of could nevers tryna make me not proud PLEASE lemme see u do it den s###! U sitting on ur dreams I’m living mine! Beat it!”

Another individual tried to call Latto out, tweeting, “Your first entry in a year.” Latto again replied, answering with, “Your first — NVM [nevermind].”
Latto then shared a message for anybody else with something to say, posting the Hip-Hop Harry “Who’s next?” gif.
During a recent interview, Latto addressed her online beef with Nicki Minaj. The two rappers went back and forth last year, exchanging insults over tweets with Latto exposing private messages.
“It’s difficult navigating through situations like that because there’s a disconnect. I will look at myself as a fan of someone and they will view [me] in a whole different light,” Latto explained to Billboard. “It’s disappointing. You just got to take it to the chin and keep pushing.”
Moneybagg Yo denied cheating on Ari Fletcher after rumors spread on Monday (February 27).
Various social media users claimed an Instagram Stories photo showed him having sex with another woman. Moneybagg Yo insisted it wasn’t him in the picture.
“Mane stop mentioning me in this picture of somebody getting f##### y’all ppl [weird] bra my whole body tatted s### not me!” he wrote on Twitter.
He added, “People be Slow internet dry y’all need some attention. U lame ass n##### be ready for me to f### up.”
The United States was slammed with severe weather over the weekend. Snow, ice and cold temperatures even hit parts of Los Angeles, unprecedented conditions for The Golden State. It was so bad, in fact, Kelis and her children apparently almost didn’t live to see another day. As they drove through the blizzard, the state’s first since 1989, Kelis’s plans to snowboard at Big Bear were thwarted when her truck got stuck in the snow. In an Instagram video she shared on Sunday (February 26), you can see her vehicle hanging off what looks like a cliff.
“Praise God the tow truck actually made it,” she said. “We’ve been outside for awhile. I’m wearing layers to keep warm … ridiculous … rescue fashion. I’ve got my light on, thank God, because it’s pitch black out here. Silver boots [for] a little reflective action. Things could be worse.”
She explained in the caption, “My plan was to take the kids to the snow, but we almost fell off a cliff! So make the best of what ya got n always be prepared lol #bigbear #blizzard #snowstorm #rescue #fashion #grateful”
Kelis didn’t confirm which one of her three children were in the car. But her son Knight, who she shares with Nas, is 13 and is more than likely the only one willing to hit the slopes. Shepard, her son with the late Mike Mora, is seven while her youngest, a girl, is two.
As Kelis said, it could’ve been worse. At least she’s standing. Someone crushed the slopes at Arapahoe Basin in Colorado on Saturday (February 25) only to slip and fall on the ice in front of their house. Now they can’t walk. Go figure.
Boosie Badazz berated Birdman’s half-brother Terrance “Gangsta” Williams in a series of Twitter posts on Monday (February 27).
Williams faced Boosie’s wrath after commenting on the rapper’s hardline stance on snitching. Boosie ridiculed Williams, who tried to suggest the outspoken artist was a hypocrite.
“YOU A PONK N A CERTIFIED RAT,” he wrote. “YOU WAS N YAZOO GETTING F##### N F###### N#####! LOOK AT YOU ON THIS PIC. BOY YOU B####! U MAKE NEW ORLEANS LOOK BAD LOL.”
He added, “NEW ORLEANS SHOULD BAN THIS DUDE! THIS IS THE WORST KINDA N####! HE A RAT, A FAMILY SNAKE, N A HOMOSEXUAL PLAYIN GANGSTER! WHAT GO ON N THE PEN DONT STAY N THE PEN NO MO CLOWN LOL.”

Williams served more than 20 years in prison but was freed from a life sentence in 2022. Boosie previously criticized Williams for cooperating with the feds in a 2022 interview.
The Baton Rouge native’s gripe with Williams resurfaced this month when Birdman’s half-brother started discussing T.I. and Boosie’s issues. One of Williams’ Instagram posts sparked Monday’s rant.
“DEZ CLOWNS A TRY ANYTHING TO BE BOOSIE!” Boosie wrote. “FAKE GANGSTA TELL THE WORLD HOW U WAS F###### PUNKS N YAZOO CITY N SETTING CEOS UP‼️r HOW U SET UP THEM CRIP N##### OUT NEW YORK UP U WEAR WIRES CLOWN.”
A company bought a single bottle of 50 Cent’s award-winning champagne for hundreds of thousands of dollars.
50 Cent’s Le Chemin du Roi Brut Champagne AOC sold for $325,000 at a Houston Rodeo auction on Sunday (February 26). J. Alan Kent Development paid a hefty price for the champagne, which was the Grand Champion of the 2023 Rodeo Uncorked! International Wine Competition.
The $325,000 bid set a new record at the auction. 50 Cent’s champagne won a competition featuring 3,071 entries from 18 countries.
50 Cent also spent money at the auction, purchasing the 2023 Reserve Grand Champion winner. The G-Unit rapper paid $165,000 for the Bernhardt Winery Antiquity Chardonnay Reserve, Danube Plain, 2020.
Earlier this month, 50 Cent celebrated his win at the Houston Rodeo’s wine competition. He posted footage from the event on Instagram, including a portion of his acceptance speech.
“What they say about the rodeo … is that you have to treat the janitor like you treat the senator because everybody is somebody around here,” he said. “It is exciting. I am in the right circle. These are the right people for me to engage with to continue to be great and do big things in Houston.”
Let’s keep it a buck. Maino is one of the most feared guys in Hip-Hop. He has mellowed out quite a bit in the last few years, really transcending the street persona that he came in the game with. But you know like I know he’s not someone you really want to play with.
Today, we saw a viral clip had Buba100x interviewing him, and he was quickly reminded of all the things I just said. But there’s a little spin on all of this. Maino recently did an interview with Angela Yee, and the Brooklyn rapper says that he was in on the prank. this is an unexpected turn off events because that is something nobody really felt after looking at the video.
In the video, we see that the YouTuber ask a question that turns Maino off, and he quickly hems him up and allegedly chokes him. Maino says he was in on the gag from the very beginning and it did what he was supposed to do. I am not so sure…he as in on the goal of that prank. But I do believe that they really had to make it into “something” just a little more fun in order for it to not turn into something legal or bad. So, I’m thinking they had to flip it.
You can even see with Angela Yee that she’s not quite sure that it is really a prank that Maino knew about. But she goes with it in this interview that you should check out below.
Mehgan James is a whole vibe, and her energy is effortlessly contagious. Any room she walks in, she demands attention… and if you follow her on Twitter, you’re probably in for a good laugh.
You may recognize the Texas native for her standout role on Bad Girls Club, most known for her physical altercations (most of the time, she won). Shortly after, she moved to Los Angeles for Basketball Wives, where she dated NBA player Kendrick Brown.
But James is far more than just what you see on reality television. She’s a model, recording artist, and even launched her own podcast called The Hollywood Group Chat. The podcast features the who’s who in entertainment, with the tagline: Breaking News and Spilling Tea!
On the 48th episode of Shirley’s Temple, I sat with Mehgan James to discuss her type, plastic surgery, dating Kendrick Brown, and more!
AllHipHop: Let’s talk boys. I know your type is tall, dark, handsome, and rich.
Mehgan James: Yeah, but I changed that. It’s just rich. You could be short, fat, ugly. But as long as you’re rich, I could work with you. Because when you got money, you could fix s###. Do you see that thing trending with that guy that got plastic surgery?
AllHipHop: Bandman Kevo?
Mehgan James: I feel like every guy wants to be a bad b#### these days. You gotta leave something for the girls.
AllHipHop: Someone said a lot of guys do this, they just don’t say it.
Mehgan James: I think he’s telling the truth. Allegedly Drake got it. Who knows? I’m a firm believer: if you have something about yourself that you don’t like and you have the money to fix it, fix it. That’s why you got money. Because it’s some people who don’t really be ugly, they just be broke.
Once you get money, you could glo up. There’s no reason for anybody with money to be ugly these days. There’s too many things you can change. You could buy new teeth, new t######, new hair. A new hairline. There’s no reason to be ugly.
AllHipHop: I know you got your boobs done at 18.
Mehgan James: Yeah, right out of high school.
AllHipHop: It wasn’t traumatizing at all?
Mehgan James: No, I will go on the table right now. I don’t care. I will literally go lay on the table. I’m not about to be walking around here looking old and ugly when I got money to fix it. But I was 18, I worked at H######.
AllHipHop: Did your tips go up?
Mehgan James: They did. I wasn’t making as much money as I wanted to make, and I saw that all the other girls were getting their boobs and making money. I was like, I’m next. I was getting a little extra money from my regulars, my little white men that would come sit at my tables. “Hey Mehgan, hi.” “I really want my boobs done because I feel so insecure.” I’d always tell all my customers that I was trying to get my boobs done, and they’d tip me more.
AllHipHop: Did you come back with boobs done?
Mehgan James: I did, it was the easiest surgery I ever got. I literally got my boobs done on a Monday, I was back at work on a Thursday. But I’ve had my boobs done 3 times. The last time I got my boobs done, I got them done and went to a birthday party after.
AllHipHop: How are you not in pain? Because they cut you open.
Mehgan James: Well, the first time is the most pain because they cut the pockets in your muscles.
AllHipHop: What size were you before?
Mehgan James: I was a DDD, maybe DD. But I wish I had no t###### now. I got a reduction. It’s a fad. Just how Lil Baby said that BBLs are going out of style and skinny girls are back in, you might have a chance sis. [laughs]
Seriously, it’s a fad. I didn’t like my big boobs anymore because when you’re heavier on the top, you look fat. I just didn’t like it anymore. I didn’t like the look, so I changed it 3 times. I’m happy now though. Everything’s good.
AllHipHop: Shirley’s Temple has a focus on mental health. Some girls, when they get their boobs done, it affects their mental health.
Mehgan James: I’m already crazy, so I think I’ve been that. I don’t think it affected me more. Somebody told me I had body dysmorphia, and I might, but I don’t care. I don’t give a f###. I don’t really do things for other people, it’s whatever makes me happy. If I feel like there’s something wrong with myself, I’m going to fix it and I’m going to continue to fix it until I’m 80. Hopefully by the time that I’m old, they have figured out a way to keep people young forever.
AllHipHop: I’m scared of getting old too.
Mehgan James: Me too. We should go vegan together, those vegan people be looking young. They don’t eat dairy, nothing. Like why?
AllHipHop: How was your BBL experience?
Mehgan James: I never got a BBL, I got shots. I got ass shots. I got lipo and I got ass shots. I don’t have a BBL. You basically lay on a table in a deep, dark dungeon, with a black market doctor that inserts a solution into a needle. You lay on the table, then they pump it into your buttock. You’re fully awake, and you get up off the table with a new ass with no recovery. It goes from flat to that [widens hands] in 5 seconds.
AllHipHop: Why aren’t people getting that more?
Mehgan James: Because it’s illegal and some people die. Ass shots in America are not legal. The stuff that shoot into your lips, that’s a legal solution. But the stuff that’s injected has not been FDA approved to go into your buttocks, so people go to other countries and get it. You can go to Mexico, London, Colombia, wherever. But people do it here on the low low.
AllHipHop: What made you get that over the BBL?
Mehgan James: Because they said after BBL, you feel like you got hit by a car. I’m very impatient. I wanted my ass right then and there, and I didn’t want to do the recovery. I got on the table and I prayed first. That’s all you can do these days.
AllHipHop: Yeah, but what if you don’t believe in God?
Mehgan James: If you don’t believe in God, then you have to believe in the power of positivity. You get on the table and say: I’m going to be alive after this. Mantra: I’m okay.
AllHipHop: You probably take pain well.
Mehgan James: I actually don’t, but I was determined to get an ass that day and I got it.
AllHipHop: What did you do that day?
Mehgan James: Because I’ve been multiple times. The time that I did the best, I was going through a breakup and I was so mad. You know what? F### this s###. I’m about to get on the table. I got on the table, I got more shots. I didn’t even flinch. I just took it.
AllHipHop: I interviewed Dream Doll, she said she wishes she could put her b######### in herpurse sometimes.
Mehgan James: As I’ve gotten older, to me, the more natural you look as an older person, the younger you look. Imagine if I had those FF t###### and a fat ass, I’m going to look like somebody’s auntie. The smaller you are, you look more youthful. So now that I’m in my 30’s, I don’t want this s### no more.
AllHipHop: Before Bad Girls Club, did you get in fights?
Mehgan James: I did. I got jumped in middle school by 2 girls and I won. That was the second time I did that.
AllHipHop: Were you an athlete?
Mehgan James: I played basketball, soccer, I was a cheerleader. I played all the sports.
AllHipHop: You still hoop?
Mehgan James: A little bit. My coordination is a little off, but I’m still really good at soccer. Sometimes if I want to work out, I’ll go out on the field and play with whoever’s out. I tore my ACL and meniscus in high school. After that, f### that s###. Because that’s the worst pain I’ve ever been through in my life. I said I’m going to wear dresses for the rest of my life. I don’t care about sports, except for guys that play sports. I’m into that, but I’m not picking up or kicking another ball ever again. That was the worst pain ever. It’s not like I was going pro, but it really hurts.
AllHipHop: Basketball Wives, you were dating Kendrick Brown?
Mehgan James: Yeah, I was 22. I was the old school day bottle girls. I used to work at this restaurant called Scotts. It was the black H######. All the girls are black. Instead of blond hair, blue eyes, everybody has black big booty, big t######. All the athletes used to stop there. That was the after the game spot. I met so many athletes there.
AllHipHop: Did he tip you?
Mehgan James: He did, and I was at his house the next day like hey boo. But I was so dumb. Sometimes I wish I could just start over with the knowledge that I have now. I’d be a whole different person.
AllHipHop: What did you wish you knew?
Mehgan James: Not even guys, just how people are. Because I used to be very naive. Even to the day, I do dumb s### that people say b####, why would you do that? We live in a world of evil people. I feel like I’m God’s favorite and nothing’s gonna happen to me. I’m smart now, can’t get over on me.
Young Thug’s sister Dolly White provided an update on the YSL rapper, who remains in jail on charges stemming from his highly publicized RICO case.
Dolly White shared a few details about her recent conversation with Young Thug in an Instagram Stories post on Monday (February 27). Her brother maintained an optimistic view amid the jury selection process in his trial.
“I talked to My Twin Jeff,” Dolly White wrote on social media. “I told him I’m lonely out here without him. He said you supposed to be. I’ll be home in a minute. I miss tf out of him. Cause Dez B###### & N##### gone come & gone go so WE KNO HOW TO DEAL WIT YALL!!!!”
Young Thug and 13 co-defendants face trial in the YSL RICO case. Jury selection began in January.
According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, the court intends to call more than 1,000 people as prospective jurors for Young Thug’s trial. The jury selection process is expected to last several months. Potential jurors are scheduled to appear in court in March, April and May.
Young Thug was one of the 28 YSL members indicted on RICO charges in 2022. Several men, including Gunna, accepted plea deals to avoid trial.
The Jam Master Jay murder trial has seemingly hit a snag. According to court docs obtained by AllHipHop, key witness Lydia High has been accused of being “unreliable.” The Law Office of Ezra Spilke, who’s representing suspect Ronald Washington, recently fired off a letter to Judge LaShann DeArcy Hall. In it, he pointed out several “impairing factors,” including the suspect being partially disguised, a cross-racial and cross-ethnic identifications and identification procedures susceptible to bias.
“At this time,” the docs say, “we anticipate that at least four of these factors will be at play here, namely: weapon focus; high stress triggered by aggressive behavior; a long delay between the event and the identification; and co-witness feedback.”
High, who was at the studio on the night JMJ was killed, initially stated, “[T]wo black males entered the [sitting room] and both men had guns. Upon entering, one man remained in the doorway, the other man, who was wearing a knit wool mask and holding a gun, ordered Lydia [High] to the floor. The man with the mask then ordered Mr. Mizell to the floor, at which time Uriel Rincon stood up to assist . . . Mr. Mizell. The man with the mask then shot Mr. Mizell, fired another shot and fled out of the doorway with the other man.”
But, Spilke says her account is problematic and alleges High identified the wrong person. As he explains in the docs, “According to Ms. High, only the shooter was wearing a mask. Ms. High, who was interviewed by the police shortly after the shooting, failed to identify as a participant Mr. Washington, whom she later told the authorities she had known for ‘numerous years.’
“Nine months after the shooting, Ms. High’s account changed in that she then knew the identity of one of the participants: Washington, whom she identified from a photo array. In identifying Washington, High told the police that he was the person who pointed a gun at her and told her to ‘get on the ground’ while the masked person shot Mizell.”
The defense intends to call to the stand Dr. Geoffrey Loftus, an experimental psychologist with expertise in human memory, visual perception and eyewitness identification, who will refute High’s recollection of the crime.
“We anticipate that Dr. Loftus will first testify that the conditions of the event that Ms. High will be asked to recall strongly impeded her ability to form accurate memory of the event,” the docs continue. “These conditions include a likely lack of attention on Ms. High’s part to the shooters’ appearances, along with the high-stress and weapon-focus factors.”
They conclude, “Ms. High’s identifications of Mr. Washington—from the photo lineup or in open court may be unreliable for multiple reasons. Dr. Loftus’s descriptions of these reasons to the jury will provide the jurors with critical scientific information based on which they can allocate appropriate weight to Ms. High’s identifications. For these reasons, Dr. Loftus’s testimony is relevant and will be helpful to the trier of fact.”
Jam Master Jay was killed inside his Jamaica, Queen studio on the night of October 30, 2002. It took more than 20 years to indict Ronald Washington and Karl Jordan Jr. to be indicted for the murder. The court has yet to set a date for trial.
Wendy Williams was the queen of daytime TV. Her departure has lead to a rise of several others like Sherri Shepherd and Jennifer Hudson. Both of those women are dope and have made their own way, despite the comparisons. Apparently, the once-retired WW is changing her mind.
In a recent encounter, Wendy was out shopping for “kitty litter” and the paps on the scene said it was quite bizarre. First of all, following somebody shopping for kitty litter is strange. Anything after that is going to be odd. In a chat described as nonsensical she said she was coming back to us.
The Sun reports Wendy said, “I’m shopping for kitty litter because I have a wax museum in Paris and one in California. I’m going for a week in Paris and then three weeks in California and then immediately fly back.” OK, well maybe it is a bit off. “I want to be on TV, stuff like Seth Meyers, Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, The View. Stuff like that – I am formerly retired,” she continued.
Queens battle rapper C3 made history on Saturday, Feb. 25 as the first woman in the history of battle rap to win a tournament, after besting Rare Breed Entertainment’s first lady Kausion on Remy Ma’s Chrome 23’s Anniversary Card.
Remy made history last year by putting on the first all-girl tournament featuring some of the illest pens in the culture including E-Hart, Chayna Ashley, 40 B.A.R.R.S., QB Diamond, Bonnie Godiva, Yoshi G, Ms. Miami Chetta, C Bri, Shiest Raw, Kay Prophet, Hazzy, and Koko Kakes.
C3 and Kausion emerged as the top two spitters of the talented lot. Egos were bruised and relationships were tarnished as the two underdogs inched toward the $25,000, arguably one of the biggest bags a female has ever received in the history of battle rapping.
The Queen of the Ring veteran, who actually made waves at the Ultimate Rap League beating the former WOTY Viixen, stopping her run, kept her head down and prepared. Giving those who understand her history as a killer in battle rap an inkling of just how bad she was going to do the promotion-heavy Kausion.
AllHipHop.com linked up with the champion to talk about what the win meant to her and also get a glimpse into how she prepared.
When asked about the discipline it took to lock in for the Kausion battle, C3 shared she had one clear motivation, saying, “I just really wanted to win.”
“Lucky for me Kausion talks a lot of sh#t,” the battler confessed. “So, that made me want to win even more.”
Her “writtens” were impeccable, but during the battle, what gave her an uncanny edge was her being able to dip into her freestyle bag— coming up off the dome with some incredible material in real-time.
C3 said she knew she was going to rebuttal.
“As far as the freestyles it was already my plan to rebuttal every chance I got, as long as it’s clean and lands properly,” she told Kershaw St. Jawnson. “So, when I saw the moment arise, I was ready.”
She also knew that was one of the things she was scoring on, and surprised that Kausion did not take that in account when she was writing her rounds or performing during the finals.
When talking about her process, she said she “normally likes to rap a little more technical” than she did for this battle.
“Being that it’s judged I wanted to stick more to the lines of writing things people could catch right away,” C3 explained, “As opposed to having to watch it a few times. I didn’t write for the camera at all in my opinion.”
It worked. She unanimously won the five judges’ votes— clearly.
C3 said this was a win that means more than the money for her.
“I finally have something under my belt that solidifies my top-tier spot position. Something that can’t be debated,” the champ said. “Especially with the way things were going in my regular life throughout the duration of the tournament.”
“I just took all the weight, threw it on my back, and kept it pushing,” explaining how challenges tried to distract her.
“I feel like that was old C3 that night,” C3 added. “And I am happy to have found her again.”
Bronx baddie Ice Spice has been hired to be the new face of Ivy Park X Adidas proving once again Beyoncé (and/or the people she has around her) got their finger on the pulse of the culture.
The brand debuted the “Gangsta Boo” rapper on its social media on Monday, February 20.
One image of her in a camo bodysuit with her signature orange curly ‘fro was captioned, “Suit up. Stay on the move while still serving looks in the Ruched Catsuit 🔥.”
A fan could not happen by commenting, “Now let’s ride VROOM VROOM.”
In a second video, the rising star says, “When I walk in the room, I bring attention. I want people to remember everything about me. I am Ice Spice and I would describe myself as creative, gorgeous, and confident.”
She later shares how she has to “isolate” herself to get focused.
“That’s how I find myself again,” Ice Spice shares. “Take a break from people and their opinions and comments. Just be by myself for a couple of days. I think my friends and family kind of understand, and they just kind of leave me alone for a little bit. I think they get it to blaze your own trail.”
The last post features her in an orange dress that seemed to perfectly be made for her. The WeAreIvyPark posted, “Rock the Twill Mini Dress with Heel Socks for an unforgettable look 🧡.”
Most people know that Brooklyn rapper Maino is no one to play with. However, one social media blogger didn’t get the note and tried to test one of Hip-Hop’s most stamped gangstas in the game.
YouTuber Buba100x pulled up on Maino during an event and asked him for an interview.
Footage circulating with International Drill Music on social media shows the “Hi Hater” chart-topper stopped to show love, but Buba100x wanted more than just a few quotes. He was pushing for a moment.
“I can’t borrow your chain?” the social media influencer asked.
“You want to borrow my chain? Maino, whose chain features a female loved one, replied.
“Yeah, let me borrow it. Let me put on your chain so I can see how it feels to have on a chain,” Buba100x said.
“Now you just chatting,” Maino said, placing his hand on his shoulders with a gentle squeeze as a warning. “I gave you your time.”
Buba100x did not heed the warning.
He said, “Aiight … quick question: On the scale of 1 to 10, how badly do you think I could beat your a##.”
Immediately, the former Bedstuy street dude grabbed him by his neck and pushed him down. As the prankster lies lying on the ground, another video captures Maino saying, “I just told you. It’s not just for the video. Don’t play with me.”
There has been speculation for years that Latto and 21 Savage are a couple. Both Atlanta-bred rap stars have denied the rumors, but many social media users refuse to believe their relationship is platonic.
This week, Latto outright denied she is dating 21. The 24-year-old “Lottery” rhymer posted a TikTok video apparently showing herself cooking a “Soul Food Sunday” meal for her unnamed boyfriend.
Many of the TikTok commenters posted that Latto must have prepared the food for 21 Savage. One user directly asked, “Did she actually say she’s with 21??” Latto responded, “No, I’ve said I’m not plenty [of] times.”
21 Savage also recently addressed whether there is a potential romantic connection with Latto. Last December, 21 blatantly stated on the Clubhouse app, “I don’t got a celebrity girlfriend.”
Latto Said She Wants To Keep Her Private Life Private
The tattoo theory began circulating not long after Latto explained why she keeps her private life off social media. The 777 album creator said, “I gotta hear everybody’s two cents and opinions on something that don’t got nothing to do with them. I’m in a real relationship, not like PR stunts, so I just want to protect it.”
However, Latto did talk about her musical chemistry with 21 Savage. She and the 30-year-old Slaughter Gang frontman collaborated on songs such as “Pull Up” in 2020 and “Wheelie” in 2022. That latter single has a Colin Tilley-directed music video starring both performers.
“[21 Savage] is one of the male Atlanta artists running it, and then I’m the female running it, hands down,” declared Latto in March 2022. “I think it’s just that Atlanta chemistry. I’ve opened up for 21 way back in the day. I was probably 15, 16, or something like that.”

SOS by SZA has dominated the Billboard 200 album chart for most of 2023. With the exception of one week earlier this month, the R&B singer’s sophomore studio LP topped every weekly ranking so far.
The latest Billboard 200 sees SZA take the pole position once again. SOS collected an additional 87,000 equivalent album units during the most recent tracking period which ended on February 23.
That gives SOS a 10-week reign atop the Billboard 200. SZA’s project now has the most weeks at No. 1 for an R&B album since the 18x-Platinum The Bodyguard soundtrack spent 20 nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1 in 1992-93.
In addition, SZA’s SOS is the longest-reigning No. 1 album by a solo R&B female artist since Mariah Carey’s self-titled debut held the top spot for 11 consecutive weeks in 1991. R&B icon Whitney Houston led The Bodyguard. However, that soundtrack is officially credited as a project by various artists.
SZA released SOS on December 9, 2022, to widespread critical acclaim. The Top Dawg Entertainment-backed effort features guest appearances from Don Toliver, Phoebe Bridgers, Travis Scott, and the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard.
Several singles from SOS have beencommercial successes as well. “Kill Bill” currently sits at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart. “I Hate U,” “Good Days,” “Shirt,” and “Nobody Gets Me” also made it into the Hot 100’s Top 20 region.
Billboard will present SZA with the Woman Of The Year honor at the 2023 Billboard Women in Music Awards on March 1. Previously, she won the 2022 Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Kiss Me More” with Doja Cat. SZA also earned a Best Original Song Oscar nomination for “All the Stars” with Kendrick Lamar.
“Big Energy” rapper Latto did not hold back when responding to the No Jumper Twitter account. Overnight, the Georgia native fired back at the Adam22-hosted podcast.
On Sunday, No Jumper tweeted a TikTok video of Latto and an unknown man from a chat website. The caption read, “Latto was on #Omegle and landed with someone who didn’t even know who she was. 🤣.”
Latto eventually saw No Jumper‘s post about her randomly chosen online conversation. The 24-year-old RCA recording artist explained the situation on Omegle, and she directly addressed Adam22 by name.
“Corny. I interrupted my friend’s conversation [with] this man from India, talked about how I can’t wait to visit & said let’s follow each other. [The f###] is funny? I never expected him to know who I am or anyone for that matter. Adam [you’re] a hoe & wouldn’t try a male rapper like this 🍅🍅,” wrote Latto.
She also added, “I done had enough today [for real]. I be trying not to respond to every lil thing… Leave me alone!!!!!!!!!!!! I don’t bother nobody!!!!!! I wake up, work out, cook, go to the studio & repeat. And [I ain’t] gone tell y’all no mo!”

Latto Is Not The Only Person That Views Adam22 As A Problematic Figure
Adam22 is a highly influential person in Hip Hop media. No Jumper amassed over 1.2 million Twitter followers, 3 million Instagram followers, and 4.5 million YouTube subscribers thanks to interviews with rappers like XXXTentacion, King Von, and 6ix9ine.
No Jumper is often credited with helping to kickstart the careers of certain up-and-coming rap acts. However, many Hip Hop fans accused Adam22 of building his brand off of highlighting the negative aspects of the culture.
Latto’s clapback at No Jumper picked up over 9,900 likes on Twitter in under six hours. Her online response to No Jumper and Adam22 came after she dropped the new single “Lottery” featuring Lu Kala on February 17. The song’s video has totaled 2.6 million views on YouTube.
Less than 24 hours after Drake revealed he’d bet $400,000 on Jake Paul in his fight against Tommy Fury, we know how that bet ended. Drake lost—big. On Sunday (February 26), Paul wound up losing to Fury in an eight-round split decision.
Jake Paul blamed Drake for the loss after the fight. “F###, this is Drake’s fault,” he lamented. “Drake why you do this to me,” he jokingly said.
The two men pummeled each other for 24 minutes as Cristiano Ronaldo, Deontay Wilder and Mike Tyson watched from the Diriyah Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The judges scored it 76-73 twice for Fury and 75-74 once for Paul. Speaking to reporters post-grudge match, Paul said he didn’t agree with the judges’ decision. He claimed he got sick twice in camp and injured his arm, drawing boos from the crowd.
“But I lost,” he said. “I’m not making excuses. I’m just saying it wasn’t my best performance. I fell flat.”
Drake revealed the massive Stake bet via Instagram on Saturday night (February 25). He wrote in the caption, “Knock knock @stake.”
The odds Paul would win the fight by KO were low. Statistically, there was a less than 30 percent chance. Paul’s record was 6-0, with four of those ending in KO. Fury remains undefeated. Fury’s brother, Tyson, placed $100,000 on his brother, so he’s presumably celebrating.
There was a moment when Paul managed to get Fury to the ground. But he didn’t seem too fazed by the knockdown and came out firing. Fury threw almost double the amount of punches than Paul did in the fight. He also landed 88 compared to just 49 from Paul.
“All the way through these 2 1/2 years, I had a dream, I had a vision that I would win this fight, and no one believed me,” Fury said after the win. “Now I can stand up and everybody can take note. In my first main event, at 23 years old, I had the world on me. I had pressure on my shoulders, and I came through.”
