Cardi B Causes Azealia Banks & Roseanne Barr Meltdowns Over Kamala Harris Support

Rapper Azealia Banks and comedian Roseanne Barr are leading a wave of backlash against Cardi B following her speech at a Michigan rally on Friday in support of Vice President Kamala Harris.

Cardi B, one of the biggest names in hip-hop, with an Instagram following of 165 million, often addresses social and political issues on her social media channels.

The Bronx-born rapper, who appeared at the Harris event to energize young voters, has since come under fire not only from Banks and Barr but also from a number of conservative and Trump-supporting figures online.

Banks, known for her outspoken nature, was particularly scathing, calling Cardi’s speech “eye gougingly cringe” and questioning her authenticity.

“Cardi HAS to stop doing that stupid Latina shtick she does cause it’s forced and not real,” Banks said. She argued that Cardi B’s public persona misrepresents her roots, noting that she grew up on “158th n Broadway” in Washington Heights and moved to the Bronx later in her teens. “Dominican women [are] intelligent as hell,” Banks added, “the shtick is a WILD misrepresentation.”

Azealia Banks further claimed that both Cardi B and fellow rapper Nicki Minaj “share a secret super intelligence masked by ridiculous chickenhead antics,” insinuating that both women adopt exaggerated personas to appeal to fans. “They deserve each other’s friendship tbh,” she concluded, adding, “Just pull a ladies night 2025 alreadyyyy.”

After she received some blowback, Azealia Banks had a total meltdown when someone replied to her post and asked her do if she had “anything better to do than schizopost on the Internet.”

“Do you have anything better to do than follow me? Ya know, it’s been well documented that Azealia Banks is out of her f###### mind, it’s YOU all who are crazy enough to still be tuned in and listening. Maybe you need the medication. F###### loser. Lmaoooooo. You clearly cannot save yourself. You have the problem, not me,” she wrote.

As for Cardi B, she appeared to be unfazed and doubled down in a series of subsequent tweets, which drew the condemnation of a variety of Trump supporters.

“Just like Kamala Harris, I have been the underdog and I have been underestimated!! My success always discredited!… Let me tell you something, women have to work ten times harder and perform ten times better and STILL our success comes with excuses… its because shes pretty or because she slept her way to the top. I see the disgusting attacks against Kamala and it’s not only angered me but has motivated me MORE now than ever to not just say something, but to DO something!… I cant stand a bully!” Cardi B wrote.

Adding to the criticism, Roseanne Barr also joined the conversation, taking to social media to express her disdain. Barr, a vocal Trump supporter, derided Cardi.

“You think the women with the entire media and government behind her is the underdog?” Barr fumed.

Cardi has become something of a thorn in the side of Trump as she has repeatedly called him out online since he secured the 2024 Republican nomination for President.

The “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker has a history of endorsing Democratic candidates. She supported President Joe Biden in the 2020 election.

As the U.S. Election Day approaches on Tuesday, the list of women in music backing Harris is still growing.

Former Bad Boy Artist G. Dep Readies New Label, New Artists & 400 New Songs

Former Bad Boy Records artist G. Dep has quietly launched Black Market Group Recordings. Dep, known for hits like “Special Delivery” and “Let’s Get It,” has been plotting his return to the music industry after a long hiatus.

G. Dep, who reunited with Bad Boy boss Diddy before his recent arrest and incarceration, reflected on how much the music game has changed.

“It’s different as far as how the music is being serviced, but it’s still the same artistry,” he noted. He said there’s a need for consistency and a deeper focus on the business side of music, despite the changes digitally.

Black Market Group Recordings was initially conceived as a way for G. Dep to release his own music while incarcerated.

“We started a label when I was incarcerated,” the Harlem native explained. “That’s what I’m basing all the music on now, and we’re in the middle of getting some distribution for it.”

G. Dep is now expanding by working with new talent like Young Stan X. G. Dep admitted he wouldn’t do his artists like the moguls of the past. “I wouldn’t try to lock nobody in right now,” he said.

Through Black Market Group Recordings, G. Dep hopes to breed creative artists and give them some measure of freedom.

As for those 400 songs, he says he doesn’t know the exact number of songs he wrote in prison but said it was an arbitrary number for “a lot of songs.”

Boot Camp Clik’s Buckshot Brutally Beaten In Flatbush

Boot Camp Clik’s Buckshot was allegedly severely beaten in the Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn on Thursday (October 31).

According to a Facebook post from a woman named Sista Asia Wildenboar, the veteran rapper is in rough shape. She wrote in the caption: “Please pray for BUCKSHOT OF BOOT CAMP CLIK WAS BEATEN HALF TO DEATH IN FLATBUSH NYC. MY HEART GOES OUT TO HIM.”

A disturbing and graphic video of Buckshot is making the rounds on Twitter (X) showing the aftermath of the apparent beating. He’s bloodied, bruised and in agony as he lays on the ground. Someone eventually tries to help him and, according to an inside source, he was eventually taken to the hospital, treated and released. Word on the street is just one person is responsible for the brutal assault.

Buckshot, born Kenyatta Blake, hails from Brooklyn and is best known as a member of the Boot Camp Clik. He gained prominence in the early ’90s as part of the duo Black Moon, alongside DJ Evil Dee and 5ft. Their 1993 debut album, Enta da Stage, is considered a classic in underground Hip-Hop, known for its gritty sound, intricate rhymes and jazz-infused beats that set the tone for East Coast rap.

After the success of Black Moon, Buckshot helped form the collective Boot Camp Clik, which includes other groups such as Smif-N-Wessun, Heltah Skeltah and O.G.C. The collective became known for its unique approach, blending streetwise lyrics with soulful and hard-hitting production.

Aside from his work with Black Moon and Boot Camp Clik, Buckshot has released solo projects and collaborated with notable artists, including a joint project with producer 9th Wonder. His style and contributions have earned him respect within Hip-Hop, especially for those who appreciate 1990s-era New York rap.

Kendrick Lamar described the moment he “allowed” himself to cry for the first time as an outpouring of emotion during a 2011 performance alongside Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg.

The Compton rapper, known for his introspective lyrics and boundary-pushing artistry, opened up during an interview with fellow artist SZA for Harper’s Bazaar about the occasion when he had to let his tears flow on stage.

Lamar reflected on the West Coast legends passing him the symbolic torch, with Dre acknowledging the new wave of Hip-Hop talent led by Lamar.

“The first time I allowed it to happen is documented, actually, onstage when Dre passed me the torch,” Lamar shared. “A burst of energy just came out, and I had to let it flow.”

Drill Rapper Dougie B Arrested For “Violent” Theft Involving 5-Year-Old Boy

Drill rapper Dougie B was reportedly arrested for a series of violent thefts in the Bronx and is now facing up to 25 years in prison.

According to the New York Post, Dougie B (real name Arion Howard), was among five men who allegedly ambushed a 33-year-old dad and his 5-year-old son inside an apartment in the Belmont neighborhood in August.

The Bronx Criminal Court complaint alleges he blocked the man and his child from escaping the Cambreleng Avenue home as another suspect flashed a gun at the dad and seized his phone in an effort to drain $2,500 from his cash accounts.

The police eventually caught up to Dougie B and the other men nine days later after they committed another robbery on September 5. Court records reportedly state two of the suspects threatened the victim at knifepoint and demanded his phones before one of the thieves secured $500 from the man’s digital wallet.

In June, a 16-year-old fan alleged Dougie B also jacked more than $1,000 in cash from him after they posed together for a photo outside a barber shop on East 187th Street.

Dougie B, who was featured in a 2022 video with Cardi B, has been charged with multiple felonies, including robbery and grand larceny.

Part of a wave of Bronx drill rappers, Dougie B rose to prominence with his high energy delivery and aggressive lyrics as well as collaborations with other Bronx artists like Kay Flock and B-Lovee. His music often reflects street life, blending gritty storytelling with rapid-fire beats typical of drill music. But it looks like street life just caught up to him.

Top5 Accuses Megan Thee Stallion Of “Lying On” Tory Lanez—Despite Conviction

Tory Lanez has been in jail for more than a year at this point, but there are some people who refuse to believe the Canadian artist is guilty. Fellow Canadian rapper Top5 is apparently one of them.

Over the weekend, Top5 (who was recently released from prison) accused Megan Thee Stallion of falsely accusing Tory Lanez of shooting her in 2020—despite the fact he was found guilty of the crime.

“The fact you lied on my brother and put him away from his family is so evil,” he wrote on one of his Instagram Stories. “You male horse @megantheestallion.”

Tory Lanez was a trending Twitter (X) topic on Sunday (November 3), with many pointing out Lanez admitted to shooting Megan Thee Stallion on a jail telephone call. But there were plenty of people who were caught up on Megan lying to CBS anchor Gayle King about sleeping with Lanez, which she admitted in the Amazon documentary Megan: In Her Words.

“Yes, b####, I lied to Gayle King,” Megan said of denying a sexual relationship with Lanez. “First of all, I ain’t know that b#### was even finna ask me about that s###, b####. I thought we was gonna talk about the shooting. Why’d you ask me about f###### Tory?

“That’s not what this is about. Even if I was, I f##### a n#### like once. Maybe twice on a drunk night, but you kept catching me out of my f###### mind … they get me off the g###### track. Like when they keep talking about the f###### part, and I find myself consumed in the f###### part. And I’m like, ‘Wait! This is not what this is about.’”

Megan questioned why her sexual history even mattered and confessed she only lied about sex with Lanez because she had lost her confidence.

“Why are we not talking about the g###### shooting?” she said. “Everything has been a distraction from the shooting. I used to be so confident in myself and I used to be like … anybody would’ve asked me about f###### somebody and I would’ve been like, ‘So? OK, yeah, I did that s###.’ I like to f###. What about it? But the way they have villainized me for being this type of person, it started to make me second guess myself.”

Tory Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting. The incident, which took place after a Hollywood party in July 2020, involved an argument in an SUV that escalated, leading to Lanez shooting Megan in her feet as she attempted to exit the vehicle.

During the trial, he was found guilty on several charges, including assault with a semiautomatic firearm, carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle and discharging a firearm with gross negligence.

Megan Thee Stallion is taking control of her own story after years of feeling “dehumanized” by the media and public attention that followed her meteoric rise in the music industry.

The 29-year-old rapper, who shot to fame in 2017 with her debut single at just 22, says she quickly realized she was no longer the master of her own narrative and felt others were shaping her image in ways that didn’t reflect her true self.

Now, with her new documentary Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words, streaming on Amazon, she’s laying her truth bare for the first time.

Jennifer Lopez has declined to answer questions about Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The singer-actress was at an autograph signing for her new movie “Unstoppable” earlier this week when fans started to ask her questions about her previous relationship with alleged sex offender Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.

A video clip shows one fan asking, “J.Lo, do you have any comments about Diddy and the allegations?”

In response, Jennifer Lopez stopped signing the autographs immediately and left the event, with fans shouting after her, “Don’t Leave!”

The 55-year-old’s representative has not yet responded to requests for comment.

The pair dated between 1999 and 2001.

And Jennifer has previously spoken candidly about the ups and downs of their relationship.

“We broke up many times (before that) and got back together and broke up again, and nobody knew about it,” the entertainer told Vanity Fair in 2011. “It was very tempestuous. Towards the end, it was emotionally exhausting. It was good that I was young.”

The couple never tied the knot but Jennifer has said that the Bad Boy Records founder often referred to their relationship as a marriage.

“He told me many times, ‘I want a divorce,'” she once told Rolling Stone. “I would be away a lot, or he would…he couldn’t go far, whatever, but he would say, ‘So, where do I send the paper?'”

The rapper is currently awaiting trial for sex trafficking charges.

Drake Beef: Is There A “Future” In Atlanta?

Drake is back at it, but not with Kendrick Lamar. He’s aiming his jabs at yet another Compton native. Drizzy had time to go at Raptors All-Star DeMar DeRozan because he sided with Dot in the beef.

“If you ever put up a DeRozan banner, I’ll go up there and pull it down myself,” Drake said with all the seriousness of a guy who thinks his 2016 diss tracks are still echoing in Kendrick Lamar’s nightmares. He even called DeRozan a “goof” in another off-hand chat—because, of course, the salt must flow.

Well, folks, there is much more.

We know Drake and Future were pretty good buddies. They were friends enough to record a dope album together (with Metro Boomin). But, later down the line, Future, Metro Boomin and Kendrick Lamar set it off on Drake. By the way, this dude does a great breakdown of how Drake is out of favor with Future.

Anyway, the word on the street is that Future and Drake talked. They aren’t best buddies, but they have reportedly ironed out their issues. I mean, these dudes were beefing over a girl. There’s nothing gangsta about that. On the serious side, I think Drake needs Atlanta as a stronghold, and the way for that to happen is through The Purple Man.

There’s another side to this. Metro and Kendrick are not included in this olive branch. I would think they should be. Why not throw the others in there? I do think both Metro Boomin and Kendrick did serious damage to Drake’s brand. I’m not sure he can come back from this.

DeRozan is out here laughing at Drake. I think he’s OK being down with his Compton brother K-Dot, who managed to flip the Canadian’s life. Hoping they all get cool again. The season is coming, the Grammy Awards and the Super Bowl are on the horizon. That’s a lot of “Not Like Us.”

Ice Cube’s World Series Celebration Performance Crashed By Dodgers’ Twerking Manager

Ice Cube may rethink his willingness to perform for the Los Angeles Dodgers in the future—so should the team’s manager, Dave Roberts.

On Friday (November 1), the city of Los Angeles celebrated the Dodgers second World Series title in five years by hosting the first championship parade in the city since the 1980s era. Following the parade’s takeover of downtown Los Angeles, Dodgers players, and thousands of fans descended upon the landmark Stadium for yet another celebratory event, highlighted by a live performance from none other than Ice Cube.

Considering Ice Cube shut the stadium down during his performance of hits such as “Bow Down” and “It Was a Good Day” during Game of the 20234 World Series, it was almost a no-brainer to invite the West Coast legend back for an encore performance. Ice Cube obliged, but the end result wasn’t nearly as gangsta rap-centric as his first performance, considering Dodgers manager Dave Roberts crashed the stage and proceeded to shake his tail feather.

The clip quickly went viral as social media users caught on to the clip and had a field day on Twitter (X).

“I was watching this and was so confused. But Dave deserves to celebrate,” the user wrote. “Let that man throw ass at who ever he wants.”

“That was definitely some weird stuff,” another user added.

“They gotta rescind the trophy cause of this man lmao,” a user remarked, to which another user added, “He wild as hell for that..lol.”

Another user chimed in, seemingly claiming the entire West Coast had been embarrassed by Robert’s, writing, “West coast just took a L.”

In the end, one of the Dodgers key players from the postseason was able to redeem the team following Roberts personnel slip up. Kiké Hernández, who came in clutch for the Dodgers with several big hits at the bat throughout the series, curtailed the circus by shouting out both Ice Cube and Kendrick Lamar while shading Fat Joe during his speech at the celebration — seemingly reestablishing the teams status as hard-core West Coast Hip-Hop fans.

”Aye Ice Cube, where’s Ice Cube at — give it up for Ice Cube people,” Hernández said. “Ice Cube came out in Game 2 and with his performance, we didn’t even have to play the game we already won it. Then we go to New York and this guy, he used to be fat. He’s not fat anymore, his name is Joe [Fat Joe] he came out and sang. And guess what — we didn’t even need to play because after that performance we had already won.”

Hernández added, “And like Dot said, they not like us baby.”

YNW Melly Says Jail Conditions Designed To “Break Him Mentally”—Demands Release

YNW Melly is seeking immediate release from custody, claiming he’s being subjected to inhumane treatment and egregious violations of his constitutional rights while being held at the Broward County Jail.

The rapper has been in custody since February 2019 on charges of capital murder, accused of the double homicide of his two friends, Anthony Williams and Christopher Thomas Jr., in October 2018.

He went on trial in July 2023, but the case ended in a mistrial when the jury couldn’t reach a verdict. He’s expected to face trial again in September 2025.

YNW Melly’s attorney, Michael A. Pizzi Jr., alleges that Melly has been held in solitary confinement for over three years without being allowed any phone calls or visits from family members, including his mother. ​

It also alleges that the conditions of his detention are cruel and unusual, violating the First, Fifth, Sixth, Eighth and Fourteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution. ​

According to the petition, Melly’s attorneys have faced numerous obstacles in communicating with him, including being forced to wait for hours, being denied entry and meeting in conditions that impede privacy and privileged communication. ​

The petition also details an incident in April 2022, where another inmate falsely accused Melly of planning an escape, leading to a shakedown of his cell and further restrictions on his communication.

“These restrictions are not related to any legitimate security concerns and are instead punitive measures designed to deteriorate Melly’s mental health and impede his ability to prepare for his trial,” Pizzi said. ​ “No non-Black inmates are subjected to such punitive restrictions.” ​

The petition calls for Melly’s immediate release, citing the abusive and unconstitutional nature of his detention. ​It also points out that Melly has sought relief in state court multiple times without success. ​

“The emotional and psychological toll of his prolonged isolation is enormous,” Pizzi stated. ​ “The ongoing interference with his right to counsel is a blatant violation of his constitutional rights.” ​

The petition calls on the court to order Melly’s release from what it describes as unlawful detention. ​

Young Thug Posts On Social Media For First Time Since Jail Release

Young Thug broke his silence on Twitter (X) over the weekend, marking his first public posts since getting out of jail.

On Saturday night (November 2), he wrote simply, “Real plea deal jack,” a somewhat cryptic message referencing the non-negotiated plea deal he struck to secure his release after more than two years behind bars.

He followed up the next morning with, “Wham let’s drop one on these rats,” suggesting a possible Lil Baby collaboration is right around the corner.

Young Thug stood before Judge Whitaker and begged for his freedom during his plea hearing on Halloween (October 31). The rapper told Whitaker he was “a good guy,” who was a victim of his circumstances. Whitaker listened intently and appeared to appreciate his sentiments. When it was her turn, she warned that his lyrics and lifestyle image can mislead young kids who idolize him.

“There’s more things to rap about,” Young Thug countered. “I’ve experienced a lot of good things—I mean, I experienced more bad things—but I experienced a lot of good things, too.”

Whitaker then delivered his sentence—40 years, with the first five years served in prison and commuted by time served, 15 years of probation and thousands of dollars in fines. That will be followed by a backloaded 20 years, which can be served in custody if he fails probation. His probation conditions are extremely strict.

Young Thug must stay out of the Atlanta Metro area for the first 10 years of his probation unless he needs to attend a funeral, wedding or such event of a close family member. He must participate in an anti-gun, anti-gang ad or concert at a local school or boys or girls club four times a year, which would count toward his community service hours. He must undergo drug tests as well.

Young Thug’s father, Jeffery Williams Sr., condemned the conditions, telling local news reporters, ““I’m totally against that because this is where he’s from. And to have a district attorney take that away from him that isn’t a residence from here, she’s from another state, and to see her take a man away from where he’s from, to have to go live somewhere else, that’s offensive to me.”

Rapper and Toronto Raptors’ ambassador Drake is apparently still harboring some heat, and it’s aimed squarely at former Raptors star DeMar DeRozan.

The reason?

DeRozan’s support for Drake’s arch-enemy Kendrick Lamar.

During the Raptors’ intense 131-128 overtime win over the Sacramento Kings, Drake, who was courtside for Vince Carter’s jersey retirement ceremony, didn’t hold back his grudge.

In a bold statement during the game, Drake announced, “If you ever put DeRozan banner up, I’ll go up there and pull it down myself.”

This jab comes after DeRozan was spotted supporting Kendrick at his “Ken and Friends” event.

The move seems to have gotten under Drake’s skin following his own publicized loss to Kendrick during their epic rap battle earlier this year.

Kendrick name-checked DeRozan, who used to play for the Raptors, in the diss record “Not Like Us,” which many feel was the nail in Drake’s coffin – in terms of their battle.

DeRozan, who is from Compton, like Kendrick, also appeared in the video.

Not one to shy away, DeRozan, now playing for the Kings, had a simple but sly response: “He’s going to have a long way to climb. Good luck.”

The light-hearted yet defiant comeback left fans and reporters chuckling, wondering if Drake’s beef is genuine or just a good-natured rivalry sparked by Toronto’s love for its basketball legends and Hip-Hop heroes.

Shaboozey Wrote 300-Page Teenage Romance Novel—Then Trashed It

Shaboozey once set his sights on a different creative endeavor, revealing that he began writing a romance novel as a teenager.

During an interview with Cosmopolitan, the artist, now 29, reflected on his less-discussed literary aspirations, recalling a time when writing felt just as important to him as music.

“I started writing a romance novel when I was around 18,” Shaboozey said. “I have it on my phone.”

The manuscript centers around two characters, one an art thief involved in a forbidden act and the other an art enthusiast.

“It was about these two people who were very well connected to each other and met later in life under the pretence of art,” he explained, adding that the theme of the book delved into deeper emotional connections and complexities between his characters.

However, despite writing nearly 300 pages of the novel, Shaboozey admitted the project fell to the wayside, largely due to the significant amount of work required to complete such a lengthy endeavor.

“I got, like, 300 pages in and then I left it alone,” he confessed. “I realized it would take a lot of time to really finish it out. Maybe I got lazy. It felt like I needed 400 more pages to finish.”

Interestingly, Shaboozey’s venture into romance writing came without having ever read a romance book himself.

“I didn’t have an outline; I just started writing,” he said. “I’ve actually never read a romance novel.”

Now, better known for his music in the Hip-Hop scene rather than his unfinished book, Shaboozey still reflects on the experience with curiosity.

Though his venture into novel writing never reached its conclusion, the process gave him insight into just how difficult storytelling can be.

Obama Still Lists JAY-Z As His G.O.A.T. MC—Despite Love For Kendrick Lamar & J. Cole

Former President Barack Obama is making it known that he still holds JAY-Z in the highest regard when it comes to how he ranks amongst his Hip-Hop peers such as Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole.

During his recent appearance on the Deep Cut podcast with professional barber and content creator Vic Blends, Obama spoke about the ongoing conversation about the big three rappers in the game right now.

More specifically, the former POTUS was asked his opinion on where Kendrick lands in the hierarchy of the big three rappers following his recent rap beef with Drake. Obama, who referred to Kendrick as a “friend,” didn’t quite crown the West Coast MC, but he did take a moment to elaborate on what he believes makes his artistry impressive.

“Kendrick is a friend of mine,” Barack Obama said. “I’ve been knowing him for a long time. He actually performed at the White House. I was the first, I think — I am pretty confident saying that not that many presidents were familiar with Hip-Hop before I was president. And I do think that Kendrick has a unique status right now, not just because of this summer.”

For Obama, it’s Kendrick Lamar’s focus on themes like fatherhood and self-discovery, which he says they have talked about at length, that sets him apart.

“But he’s not just gifted, he’s serious about the message,” he said. “He digs into himself. He digs deep. You’d enjoy Kendrick because when we get together, he wants to talk about fatherhood, those are the questions he’s talking about.”

When it came to J. Cole, Vic proudly voiced his hometown support for the Fayetteville rapper, even nudging Obama to consider him as the GOAT.

“I just talked to J [J. Cole] last week,” Obama said in response to Vic.

While Obama acknowledged that J. Cole was “very high on the list,” he was quick to name JAY-Z as the legend he believes still holds the title.

“There’s a guy named JAY-Z from closer to my generation,” he quipped.

As the pair continued to debate the topic, Obama laid out his opinion on why the Hip-Hop G.O.A.T. debate is much like the conversation about who is considered to be the greatest basketball player of all time.

“Look, this is a lot like the MJ [Michael Jordan] versus the LeBron conversation, right,” he said.

In addition to not only hosting Kendrick, but also JAY-Z and J. Cole to perform at the White House, Obama also welcomed the presence of some of lyricists such as Common and Wale, among many others. Not to mention his summer playlists have become one of the hottest and most prestigious playlist placements artists of the 2010s and 2020s era can receive. In essence, making Obama’s words about being the authority on Hip-Hop in the White House before any other president seemingly bulletproof.

50 Cent has a message for Ray J after the singer-turned-tech entrepreneur claimed he got into an altercation with three of Diddy’s sons over his remarks about the allegations against their father. 

On Friday (November 1), the G-Unit mogul hopped on Instagram with a clip of Ray J’s recent Instagram Live chat with Nicki Minaj, where he recalled the alleged scuffle. Ray J told Minaj the Combs siblings, Christian, Quincy and Justin, confronted him about comments he made on his news show. 

However, Nicki Minaj was baffled to hear Ray J is now a “news anchor,” telling him, “You don’t know what the f### to do with yourself, huh?” 

50 Cent found the encounter hilarious, writing, “YO THIS S### GOT ME CRYING. She said what !” After trolling Ray J, 50 Cent warned, “JUSTIN and them gonna f### you up.”

Meanwhile, it wasn’t just 50 Cent who got a laugh out of Ray J’s chat with Nicki Minaj. The “One Wish” singer shared a clip of the conversation on Instagram. 

“She was so baffled by your other gig as a news anchor,” Hitmaka wrote in the comments. “I been crying all morning and replaying her facial expressions.”   

Timbaland also dropped off a string of laughing emojis, and Hitmaka doubled back, writing, “Bro u are insane.” 

In the caption, Ray J claimed he and the Combs brothers “squashed” their issues.

Cardi B tore into Donald Trump’s plans to “protect” women, calling him out for dismantling women’s rights to their bodies during a speech at Vice President Kamala Harris’ rally in Wisconsin on Friday (November 1). 

The spicy Bronx native explained she related to being an “underdog” throughout her career. 

“I’ve been underestimated. My success belittled and discredited,” she said. “Women have to work 10 times harder, perform 10 times better, and still, people question us how we got to the top.” 

Cardi B explained she wasn’t going to vote in this election but revealed that Kamala Harris entering the race “changed my mind completely.” 

She added, “I did not have faith for any candidate until she joined the race and said the things that I wanted to hear — things I want to see next in this country. I believe in every word that comes out of her mouth; she’s passionate, she’s compassionate, she shows empathy, and most of all, she is not delusional.” 

Cardi then directed her attention to Donald Trump. “He’s selling us bigotry, misogyny, chaos and confusion. He wants us to hate each other,” she yelled. “And it’s going to cost you your money, equal opportunity, affordable health care and any rights you thought you had for your body. He gon take it from ya.” 

Referring to Trump as “Donny Dunk,” she called out his remarks at a rally earlier this week about protecting women.  

“He said he’s gonna protect women whether they like it or not,” she stated. “Donnie Duck, please… Protection for women, especially if we’re talking about maternal and mental healthcare, isn’t telling them what to do with their bodies, it’s supporting them and giving them the care they need for what they choose to do with their bodies!!! 

“If your definition of protection is making sure our daughters have fewer rights than their mothers,” she said, “then I don’t want it.” 

In several follow-up tweets, Cardi B called out the “disgusting attacks” against Kamala Harris and warned Trump is trying to ‘hustle” the American people.

BMAC’s “It’s Your Fight…Vote!” Bus Rolls Through Georgia To Get People To The Polls

The Black Music Action Coalition (BMAC) has been busy in Georgia ahead of what is a pivotal election for the United States. In an effort to get people to the polls, the advocacy organization put empowerment messages on a custom BMAC “It’s Your Fight…VOTE” bus that is making stops across Georgia to pick up voters and take them to the polls while encouraging a voting plan and early voting.

BMAC has also hosted raw and meaningful conversations along the way, highlighting key issues plaguing the U.S.

In line with a mission to use the power of music to create systemic change, the BMAC “It’s Your Fight… VOTE” bus used the power of lyrics from music legends like James Brown, Queen Latifah, Kendrick Lamar, Public Enemy and Beyoncé, among others. The BMAC Voter bus also features a vintage poster with an image of Muhammad Ali along with the slogan: “It’s Your Fight, Vote.”

“BMAC is steadfast in our commitment to use the power of our voice to make positive, long lasting change,” BMAC CEO/President Willie “Prophet” Stiggers said. “We chose the words of Artists who have moved the needle through music to adorn our bus and the image of the great truth teller, Muhammad Ali, to be the face of our bus as it moves through Georgia, fueled by the power of voters…It’s Our Fight…VOTE.”

BMAC will join recording artist Omeretta on Election Day (November 5) as the BMAC bus continues to take people to the polls in the Zone 3 area of Atlanta.

Each initiative build on BMAC’s events that use the power of music to shine a light on the truth, as well as legislative efforts that work towards long-lasting policy change around social and racial justice. Recent efforts include the annual BMAC Gala ,which brought together music and activism to honor LL COOL J, USHER, BET, Live Nation and Ivy McGregor.
