Jonathan Majors Gets Emotional In Trailer For First Interview Since Assault Conviction [VIDEO]

ABC News journalist Linsey Davis sat with Jonathan Majors for an exclusive conversation. The upcoming televised interview is the former Marvel Cinematic Universe star’s first public appearance since his criminal trial ended.

Majors was arrested in March 2023 following a domestic dispute with his then-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. On December 18, 2023, a New York jury convicted him of reckless assault and harassment. He will be sentenced on February 6, 2024.

Before returning to a courtroom next month, Jonathan Majors will speak about the fallout from his legal issues on Good Morning America. ABC released a 30-second trailer for the GMA segment. Majors got emotional in the teaser clip.

“It’s been hard,” Jonathan Majors tells Linsey Davis while wiping away tears from his eyes. In her promotional tweet posted on Thursday (January 4), Davis called the interview with the 34-year-old actor “riveting.”

Following the incident with Grace Jabbari and before the conviction, the United States Army suspended recruiting commercials featuring Jonathan Majors. Additionally, his management company and public relations firm dropped him after the initial arrest in 2023.

Jonathan Majors appeared to be on the path to becoming one of the top stars in Hollywood. His breakout performance came in HBO’s Lovecraft Country. The Yale School of Drama graduate went on to star in the MCU’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania as Kang the Conqueror. However, Marvel Studios fired Majors from future movies immediately after his conviction.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania debuted at No. 1 at the domestic box office with a $106,109,650 opening haul in February 2023. Two weeks later, Creed III landed at No. 1 by racking up a first-weekend total of $58,370,007. Jonathan Majors portrayed Damian “Diamond Dame” Anderson in that sports drama.

The Good Morning America interview with Jonathan Majors premieres on January 8 at 7 am ET. ABC News Live Prime with Linsey Davis will stream an extended interview on January 8 at 7 pm EST. Plus, IMPACT x Nightline will stream a half-hour special beginning January 11.

Ice Cube Responds To Katt Williams’ “Friday” Claims Following Crazy Viral Interview

Ice Cube has responded to Katt Williams’ viral interview with Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast via Twitter (X). In a nearly 10-minute video, the N.W.A pioneer touched on Williams’ comments about the film franchise, Friday, in which Williams played “Money Mike” in 2002’s Friday After Next.

“First of all, I just wanna say we shot [Friday After Next] over 20 years ago,” he says in the clip. “So, you know, people have different perspectives and it’s been a long time. Every comedian I’ve worked with, every comedian I’ve put in a movie, I only put them in a movie because I thought they was funny. I thought they was perfect for the part. I tried to put them in a position to win. That’s what it’s all about […] All these guys I know are funny as hell. I didn’t discover them. They were doing their standup, doing their thing, and I knew they were great. If I had an opportunity, I was going to give them an opportunity.”

From there, Ice Cube got into specific points Williams made during the interview and conceded he was telling the truth about some things—but not everything.

“Katt was 100 on a few things,” he continues. “A couple things I just want to clarify. When we bring in a new comedian, we do have them try out for different roles, so Ricky [Smiley] did give ‘Money Mike’ a shot, but when we saw him, we saw how he moved and how he was auditioning, we decided he’d be a better Santa Claus […] When I saw Katt, I just knew he was perfect for ‘Money Mike.’ Katt said he wrote his role, which, I mean, the role was already written, but he enhanced it. This is why Katt was so dope in the movie. ‘Money Mike’ had a small role, about as big as the Santa Claus role, but we started filming, he was giving us such magic, we kept expanding his role and giving him more to do because he was on point.”

Ice Cube did deny there was a sexual assault scene in the movie, saying, “I would never shoot a rape scene in a movie, especially in a movie like Friday. That’s not my style.”

Williams’ interview set the internet ablaze and garnered several reactions from people he mentioned during the conversation. More recently, Ludacris addressed Williams with a freestyle in response to the comedian’s claims he went to an Illuminati event.

“So there was a crossroads where we were both invited to an Illuminati thing,” Williams told Sharpe. “It had to be one or the other of us, and decisions had to be made. So it was both of us. We were equal. One of us had to cut off all their hair and couldn’t do the sideburn thing no more with the points. And the next person they said was going to get $200 million because they were going to pay him $10 million a movie to do 20 movies. And that’s how the conversation happened. One of those persons turned out to be Ludacris and the other person turned out to be Katt Williams.”

Ludacris countered, “Never been illuminati/I only left with b###### when coming from any party.”

Big Daddy Kane Endorses NYC Council’s Idea For Jay-Z Holiday

Big Daddy Kane gave his stamp of approval to a proposed holiday in Jay-Z’s honor. The legendary MC explained why he liked the idea when TMZ inquired about New York City Council members introducing a resolution to declare December 4 as Jay-Z Day.

“I think it’s real cool,” Big Daddy Kane said. “You got to understand Hip-Hop is a culture, a music culture, and now a music genre that people shunned upon, people looked down upon. And when you see it can grow billionaires, it can become multi-genre where there are different forms of Hip-Hop. It can become the biggest-grossing music genre. And to see an artist get a national holiday, I’m all for it. I think it’s beautiful. Much respect to Jay-Z. I hope it happens.”

Big Daddy Kane and Jay-Z’s history runs deep. The Juice Crew member famously enlisted Jay-Z for the posse cut “Show & Prove” years before Hov released Reasonable Doubt.

Councilwoman Farah Louis and several of her colleagues introduced their Jay-Z Day resolution in December 2023. They believed Hov deserved the honor due to his “legendary status as a masterful MC and lyricist and as an innovative entrepreneur.”

“December 4th, as Jay-Z Day, announces to the world how this Brooklyn son can be all things including loved by his community,” Louis said at a hearing. “In the spirit of celebrating Hip-Hop’s 50th anniversary, establishing an annual celebration to recognize a homegrown hero while proclaiming our municipal support is fitting to designate. Our resolution is an emotional, practical banner raised. Jay-Z has shown the resilience to beat the odds, self-admitted errors, and has developed mechanisms to create opportunities for others. As always, he has done this work wearing Brooklyn and NYC on his heart. December 4th is a definitely day to offer flowers to Jay-Z.”

Goodie Mob’s Big Gipp Says André 3000 Has Rap Album Stashed In Vault

André 3000 threw Hip-Hop fans a curveball when he released an instrumental flute album in November 2023. The Outkast rapper insisted he wasn’t holding his raps “hostage,” but fellow Dungeon Family member Big Gipp claimed 3 Stacks has a rap album in the vault during an interview with Atlanta’s B High.

“I’ma tell you something you don’t know — the bruh got a rap album,” Big Gipp said. “Bruh, if he wanted to rap, he got that. Organized Noize could go in they vault and pull out a 3000 album. It’s not about that. It’s about where we are in music right now. Him coming out rapping wasn’t gonna change nothing. It was just him joining what’s going on. Now, him coming out doing this and making this successful, he just broke the whole situation down to where now we can go in another direction.”

Big Gipp applauded André 3000 for releasing the flute album despite the demand for a rap project. The Goodie Mob stalwart believed 3 Stacks’ pivot provided a blueprint for other Hip-Hop artists.

“At the end of the day, for me, that’s great,” Big Gipp said. “Because guess what? He can go out here in theaters, people gonna charge $100, $500, $1000 to see him play his flute. Right? He’s showing you another way to take music and grow gracefully as a man and an MC. I ain’t got to depend on rap for the rest of my career.”

New Blue Sun marked André 3000’s first project since Outkast’s 2006 album, Idlewild. The project peaked at No. 34 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album’s opener “I Swear, I Really Wanted to Make a ‘Rap’ Album But This Is Literally the Way the Wind Blew Me This Time” broke the record for the longest song to chart on the Billboard Hot 100.

SIGNS: Was Massive Miami Mall Police Response Over Aliens & Not Unruly Teens?

Miami could be the next Roswell based on the alleged extra terrestrial activity that occurred there earlier this week. According to multiple reports, the staggering police presence at Miami’s Bayside Marketplace shopping center was in response to a disturbance caused by a large group of teens. The youngsters were allegedly fighting and looting, however, there were reportedly only four total arrests—despite the large police response.

Eye witnesses at the scene of the incident claim there was something much more sinister on the ground at the mall. Apparently, police were shooting at aliens that were purportedly at least 10-feet tall. The incident became a trending topic on Twitter (X) with more than 20,000 tweets flooding timelines on January 4. One user claimed the aliens were able to blend in to the crowd and may have had telekinetic abilities.

Multiple conflicting reports allege that thousands were left without powere as a result of the incident and even claim there was an airport closure as well. News reports all point to unruly teenagers as the source of the conflict though. Check out coverage of the incident below.

Allen Hughes Applauds 2Pac For Writing “Female Centric” Songs When Others Weren’t

Director Allen Hughes is nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Music Film category for Dear Mama, a five-part docuseries that examines the relationship between Tupac Shakur and his mother, Afeni Shakur. The series, which premiered on FX in April 2023, does a deep dive into Afeni’s turbulent life as both a Black Panther and struggling drug addict as well as Tupac’s rise to rap royalty. Hughes had a complicated friendship with ‘Pac but has come to a place of peace with it, even though he has some regrets.

In 1991, Tupac recruited Hughes and twin brother Albert to direct his first video, “Brenda’s Got A Baby,” when they were just teenagers. The provocative visual, shot in black-and-white, tells the tragic tale of a teen mother who falls victim to the broken system. As their collaborative relationship continued to develop, it would ultimately come to a tumultuous end when Tupac assaulted the brothers during a video shoot. ‘Pac was upset they kicked him out of their debut film, Menace II Society, and sought revenge with a merciless beating. The brothers took Tupac to court and he wound up serving 15 days in jail for the attack. That was the last time Allen Hughes really spoke to ‘Pac. Looking back, he knows he could’ve handled the situation differently.

“I would have gone to see him in prison [Shakur served 11 months on sexual abuse charges but was released in 1995 pending an appeal of his conviction],” Hughes said in an interview last month. “Because, funnily enough, I would have had a captive audience. We were so young—I just think it would have been the mature thing to do. I wish I would have gone and seen him. That’s the big regret.”

But, in a way, Dear Mama feels like an amends. Through interviews and the series itself, Hughes was able to articulate just how special Tupac was to not only him but also the world. Speaking to AllHipHop, Hughes praises the late rap icon for exploring subjects most “gangsta” rappers wouldn’t touch.

“‘Brenda’s Got A Baby’ came out when he was 20,” Hughes says. “He wrote it when he was 18. To this day, point me to one male rapper who ever consistently wrote female centric songs. When you look at ‘Brenda’s Got A Baby,’ what makes it unique is it’s one long verse. It’s storytelling at its finest.

“He’s singular in that he’s got like eight to 10 songs that embody a female perspective, experience, disposition, heart or mind—and that’s the thing he had. If you knew him behind closed doors, you’d see other sides of him that were almost demure and soft, and they’re always very sweet. He was really in touch with his feminine side. Even when we start talking about toxic masculinity and maybe the trap he may have fell into later, he wasn’t afraid to cry, he wasn’t afraid to be sensitive or write poetry. And by the way, he was always reading. He always had a book in his hand. To Hip-Hop at the time, that was like kryptonite ’cause who reads?”

One of Tupac’s most famous songs is undeniably “Dear Mama,” which appeared on his third album, 1995’s Me Against The World. As the title suggests, it’s a poignant—and at times painful—ode to Afeni that truly captures the complicated nuances of their mother-son dynamic. Dear Mama illustrates a similar narrative, albeit in a different way. Like Hughes pointed out, “Brenda’s Got A Baby” and “Dear Mama” were just two of the female-centric songs Tupac wrote in his lifetime. Others include “Shorty Wanna Be A Thug” and “Keep Ya Head Up.”

Tupac was murdered in 1996 at a mere 25 years old and still had so much he could’ve accomplished. Hughes imagines he’d continue being a leader and, as he matured, found his footing as a fearless revolutionary.

“We’re missing a moral compass and virtues,” Hughes says of the music industry. “He obviously would’ve been a community leader if he got a harness on his emotions. Halfway through making this—and I was 48 when I started—I almost started crying. I’m like, ‘Damn, if he only just made it out of his 20s.’ He would have seen the emotional thing goes down a little bit, and you’re able to see the forest for the trees a little bit better.

“Then once you get out your 30s and you get to 40s, you get more comfortable in your skin. So I believe he would have been a leader of men and women in the in the community and of the culture, a thought leader. I think he would have been a moral leader, even though he fell victim to some of the things that he talked about not doing. Look now in our culture. Where are the leaders? You’ve got these millions of followers, but where’s your voice?”

Tupac, Hughes believes, wouldn’t have allowed Hip-Hop to get to this point. He adds, “His friends always say if he were here right now, he’d be an a###### [laughs]. But at least he’d be a rebel with a cause.”

The 66th Annual Grammy Awards take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday (February 4). Check back with AllHipHop soon for Part II of the Allen Hughes interview.

Meek Mill Unveils Weed Venture After Claiming He Would Stop Smoking

Meek Mill quickly changed his stance on smoking marijuana. Months after claiming he would quit smoking, the Philadelphia-bred rapper revealed he was developing his own strain of weed on Thursday (January 4).

“Of course I’m starting a weed strand to go along with the new album!” he wrote on Instagram.

The announcement baffled some of his social media followers due to his previous comments about giving up weed. Meek Mill said he was going to stop smoking in November 2023.

“Ima go to Dubai and completely stop smoking,” he wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter). “Ima follow snoop, my doctor said I got a lil bit emphysema in a chest if I don’t stop smoking it cuts my lifeline in half, I was addicted to the nicotine and this new weed got too many chemicals and too risky to play with my mental!”

Meek Mill was inspired by Snoop Dogg, who shocked fans by announcing he was “giving up smoke” late last year. But Snoop Dogg did not stop smoking weed. He simply trolled fans via social media as part of a marketing campaign for Solo Stove.

“I have an announcement,” Snoop Dogg said in the advertisement. “I’m giving up smoke. I know what you’re thinking: ‘Snoop, smoke is kind of your whole thing.’ But I’m done with it. Done with the coughing and my clothes smelling all sticky icky. I’m going smokeless. Solo Stove fixed fire. They took out the smoke. Clever.”

Meek Mill also teased a new album with his weed strain. The project will be the follow-up to last year’s Too Good to Be True album with Rick Ross. Too Good to Be True had disappointing first-week sales, debuting at No. 23 on the Billboard 200 chart. It was Meek Mill’s lowest-charting release since 2020’s Quarantine Pack EP.

DJ Kool Herc & N.W.A Secure Special Awards From Grammys

The Recording Academy announced the recipients of the 2024 Lifetime Achievement and Trustees Awards on Friday (January 5). This year’s honorees included Hip-Hop pioneer DJ Kool Herc and N.W.A.

DJ Kool Herc will receive the Grammys Trustees Award along with Joel Katz and Peter Asher. The award aimed to acknowledge individuals for making “significant contributions, other than performance, to the field of recording.”

N.W.A members Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, MC Ren, DJ Yella and the late Eazy-E will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Gladys Knight, Donna Summer, Laurie Anderson, Tammy Wynette and the Clark Sisters were also selected for the Lifetime Achievement Award.

“The Academy is honored to pay tribute to this year’s Special Merit Award recipients — a remarkable group of creators and industry professionals whose impact resonates with generations worldwide,” Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. said. “Their contributions to music span genres, backgrounds and crafts, reflecting the rich diversity that fuels our creative community. We look forward to honoring these music industry trailblazers next month as part of our week-long celebration leading up to Music’s Biggest Night.”

DJ Kool Herc, N.W.A and their fellow recipients will be celebrated at the Special Merit Awards ceremony the night before the 2024 Grammys. The event takes place at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles on February 3.

The Recording Academy unveiled its awards for DJ Kool Herc and N.W.A. a few weeks after A Grammy Salute to 50 Years of Hip-Hop aired on CBS. Many Hip-Hop luminaries participated in the TV special, but KRS-One was among the notable artists who turned down an invitation.

“When I got the call, I immediately say nah,” he said. “First of all, it’s the Grammys. You get no respect here. None. Now, we respect your existence. We know you exist and we know you’re the Grammys. We understand and we respect that, your existence. But you ignored Hip-Hop for 49 years. At the 50th year, you wanna call us? The 50th year? That’s when you call? You wait till the 50th year to wanna call Hip-Hop’s authentic teacher? Nah, you don’t get that privilege.”

Listen to him explain why he rejected the event below.

B.G. Disses Lil Wayne In New Song “Gangstafied”

Oh nooooooooooo! Why is 2024 starting off like this? B.G. is one of the biggest names to come up out of the Cash Money crew. He coined the term “Bling Bling” and did a long stretch of time in the bing bing. Now that he is outside, it is ON. He is on a feature run, but his latest has raised several eyebrows. Here is the specific line:

“My n#### Weezy steady touring, but he’s a b#tch and it’s showing.”

Finesse2tymes dropped a new track, “Gangstafied,” and it’s got the streets buzzing, especially with B.G. jumping in with those heavy bars. Let us not get all crazy. It’s not a full song, but it is a diss. To me, it feels deeper, like there’s some unresolved stuff from back in the day. B.G.’s been through a lot, and this verse kinda gives us a glimpse into his perspective on things that went down while he was locked up. But, the end of that bar said, “I’m still a living legend, don’t act like you didn’t know it.” Says a lot more about what may have happened.

Lil Wayne, on the other hand, has been doing his thing, staying on top of the game, touring and all. But this line from B.G. might stir up some old feelings or even start new conversations in the Hip-Hop community.

At this point, it’s all about how Weezy responds, if he does. Will he take it to the music, or will it be a behind-the-scenes convo?

Trick Daddy Goes Off On Katt Williams For Blasting Rickey Smiley

Katt Williams rattled the entertainment industry with his Club Shay Shay interview. His brutal takes on Kevin Hart, Steve Harvey, Rickey Smiley and others went viral. The stand-up comic’s commentary also inflamed numerous celebrities, including Trick Daddy.

While appearing on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay, Katt Williams responded to previous comments made by fellow comedian Rickey Smiley. In February 2023, Smiley told Sharpe that he almost played Money Mike in Friday After Next instead of Williams.

Trick Daddy took issue with Katt Williams’s response to Rickey Smiley. The Miami-bred recording artist went live on social media to defend the former Dish Nation co-host. Trick did not hold back his thoughts on Williams.

“All my life, all my career, I’ve been a nephew, a brother, a little cousin, a fan of Rickey Smiley,” Trick Daddy declared. “Katt Williams, your little p####-ass get on the Sharpe show and just get in your little b####-ass feelings and you say all type of s### you ain’t supposed to say.”

The Based on a True Story album creator also stated, “You said some slick s### about me in one of your stand-ups. You were being sarcastic saying that if Trick Daddy can own a restaurant, you can do anything… Keep my name out your mouth, b####-ass n####! Keep Rickey Smiley’s name out your mouth!”

Trick Daddy also claimed that all of the comedians Katt Williams mentioned on Club Shay Shay have more money than both of them. The 49-year-old rapper also accused Williams of belittling other Black men for likes, shares, and views.

Rickey Smiley Responds To Katt Williams’s Club Shay Shay Interview

Katt Williams’s main issue with Rickey Smiley stemmed from the radio personality claiming their roles in Friday After Next were nearly reversed. Smiley portrayed Santa Claus in the 2002 comedy while Williams starred as Money Mike.

“This man told you he had Katt Williams’ role, he was going to be Money Mike, and Katt Williams was going to be Santa Claus,” Williams expressed to Shannon Sharpe.

The 52-year-old Cincinnati native added, “200 Black comedians auditioned for the role of Money Mike with me. You’re saying all 201 of us were auditioning, and you had already had the role and had already shot the role in four days?”

In addition, Williams said Rickey Smiley was “bitter” during the filming of Friday After Next. Smiley responded to the Wild ‘n Out alumnus by insisting, “I went out to audition for Friday After Next as Money Mike, not as Santa Claus. That is the honest-to-God truth.”

Cam’ron’s Jealous Of OBJ’s “Sexual Liberation” Eboni K. Williams Suggests

Cam’ron and Ma$e discussed Odell Beckham Jr. on the latest episode of It Is What It Is, which included Cam joking that the Baltimore Ravens player has feminine tendencies.

“It’s OBJ. People say he’s a little zesty sometimes. I ain’t gonna throw that on him,” Cam’ron stated. The 47-year-old content creator also clowned Beckham Jr. for a photo of him getting a tattoo near his buttocks and video of him in a hot tub with another man.

Despite spending a segment making fun of the three-time Pro Bowler, Cam insisted he has no issues with Odell Beckham Jr. The rapper-turned-broadcaster later said, “Listen, I don’t have a problem with OBJ. I see OBJ, we say wassup. And my thing is I don’t care what you do in your off-time.”

Social Media Commenter Questions Cam’ron’s Take On OBJ

A clip of Cam’ron’s comments about Odell Beckham Jr. made its way to Instagram and other social media platforms. Some internet users took offense to what Cam had to say about the Super Bowl champion.

One person wrote, “Why are these older generation men/old singers and [rappers] so obsessed with men younger than them and their sexuality? Seems a bit odd.”

Television personality Eboni K. Williams also weighed in on the topic. The former State of the Culture panelist responded, “Jealous of a sense of gender choice and sexual liberation that the Black men of my generation were denied/didn’t have access to.”

People Have Accused Cam’ron Of Being Part Of The LGBTQ Community

Cam’ron has faced accusations of being gay or bisexual throughout his career. The rap star known for popularizing men wearing pink-colored clothing pushed back on that narrative on a July 2023 episode of It Is What It Is.

“You know how long I had to hear, ‘Cam’s gay, he wears pink’?” the Harlem-bred MC asked. He then added, “Bring your mother around, n####. See if she gives a f###, n####. See if your mom gives a whole f###, n####. I’ll tell her how gay I am. I’ll f### her in the pink mink.”

Boosie Badazz Gets Slammed By Gay Celebrity Milan Christopher For Sending Offensive DM

Boosie Badazz’s negative reaction to depictions of homosexuality in The Color Purple movie led to online backlash. For example, Milan Christopher railed against Boosie for his take.

“You mean to tell me you walked out on Color Purple when the gay love scene happened BUT STAYED WHEN THE RAPE, BEATING, MOLESTATION, & SELLING OF LITTLE BLACK GIRLS OCCURRED? Typical, slow ahz contradicting ahz dweeb!” Milan Christopher tweeted on Tuesday (January 2).

Apparently, Boosie Badazz got wind of the former Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood cast member’s comments. Milan Christopher posted an alleged Instagram direct message from Boosie that read, “Shut yo f##### ass up lol.”

In addition, Christopher went off on the “Wipe Me Down” rapper in his Instagram caption. The openly gay entertainer wrote, “I can clock another d### eater from a mile away – no matter how DL AND [rainbow emoji] phobic they portray to be.”

He also stated, “Maybe when you [were] in jail and you watched them [rainbow emoji] men pounding each other backs out for 5 mins instead of walking away, turning your head or closing your eyes is when your tootie 1st started twitching – is this when you wished it was you getting your hole dug out?”

Milan Christopher also had more to say on X. He posted, “There is not another so-called ‘STRAIGHT’ person in sports, politics, music & rap history that is more obsessed WITH GHEEYS & their lifestyle than LIL BOOCHIE BOOTISIE CAT. Every month, every week & every interview he is [in] the alphabet community business- Like what tf is really going on Aunty?”

Milan Christopher’s clapbacks at Boosie Badazz comes after Ts Madison clashed with the In My Feelings (Goin’ Thru It) mixtape creator. Madison, a transgender media personality, suggested Boosie needed an intervention to sort out his “homosexual demons.”

Joe Rogan Responds To Katt Williams Calling Him Out On “Club Shay Shay”

Katt Williams took over the internet this week thanks to his nearly three-hour interview with Shannon Sharpe. That Club Shay Shay appearance included the legendary stand-up comic taking aim at numerous industry peers.

At one point, Katt Williams talked about not appearing on comedian/podcaster Joe Rogan’s program. The Joe Rogan Experience is one of the most popular podcasts on the Spotify platform.

“Joe don’t want me on there. I need to be on Shannon. Joe got six comedians that never been funny he wanna push out,” Williams stated before laughing. “But that’s really how it is.”

Like many of his quotes from Club Shay Shay, Katt Williams’ comments about Joe Rogan quickly went viral on social media. Rogan took to X (formerly Twitter) to address what the Friday After Next star had to say.

“I love Katt. He’s one of my favorite comics and I’d love to have him on. We talk about him all the time. If he’s down I’ll make it happen,” Joe Rogan tweeted on Thursday (January 4).

Katt Williams became the top trending topic on the internet for multiple days. His scathing takes on other comedians such as Kevin Hart, Chris Tucker, Steve Harvey, Cedric The Entertainer and Rickey Smiley caused widespread commotion.

The full-length version of Williams and Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay conversation has collected over 13 million views on YouTube since premiering on January 3. Additionally, one YouTube clip from the podcast amassed more than 3.3 million views.

Tiffany Haddish Roasted Online After Clapping Back At Katt Williams Over “Club Shay Shay” Interview

Tiffany Haddish joined the multiple celebrities responding to Katt Williams’ wild remarks about them in his recent explosive Club Shay Shay interview

During the viral chat, the comedian implied Kevin Hart is an industry plant who opened doors for Tiffany Haddish.

“Tiffany [Haddish] was only seen at the Laugh Factory. In 15 years in Hollywood, no one in Hollywood has a memory of going to a sold-out Kevin Hart show,” he told Shannon Sharpe. “They think they can rewrite history.”

On Thursday (January 4), Tiffany Haddish took to Instagram to respond to Katt Williams. According to the actress, she’s not upset by his comments, but Hart needs reminding of the facts.

“I am not mad I just wish he would get his facts right about me,” she wrote. “Dang I guess I will send him a reminder text.”

Despite insisting she isn’t bothered, Haddish took a parting shot at the comic. “But are we sure that is Katt Williams? He looks a lot like Charleston White,” she added.”

Like the interview, Haddish’s response circulated widely on social media, with many users slamming the Girls Trip star.

“Tiffany Haddish should probably… not talk.. during this whole thing,” media personality Scottie Beam wrote.

Another user shared a throwback clip of Kevin Hart defending Haddish during a 2018 Breakfast Club appearance. He addressed Katt Williams, who said Haddish “has not proven her ability to tell jokes,” and hadn’t put in enough work to earn the opportunities she had received.

“& where is Tiffany Haddish NOW,” the poster wrote alongside the clip. “Do yall even actually find her funny? Kevin stood ten toes behind a fluke to degrade a comedic legend.. lol smfh.”

Rick Ross Explains Why OG MCs Share The Same Top 3 GOAT Rappers

Rick Ross shared his thoughts on why many OG rappers have the same three rappers as the top MCs of all time.

During his recent livestream with Adin Ross, the MMG Honcho revealed he has Notorious B.I.G., Tupac Shakur and Jay-Z as his top three all-time. According to Rozay, many of his peers have the trio among their Hip-Hop GOATS because of their wealth and success outside the music industry.

“When you hear OGs like myself and other n##### say those names so commonly, it’s because they had the biggest effect,” Rick Ross explained. “These the n##### that we watched get rich. Jay, Puff…that was really that first generation that we watched get rich.”

He continued, “Because we seen artists that were hugely successful but were they extremely wealthy? We not sure.”

Expressing his love for the group, Rozay referenced Hip-Hop pioneers Run-DMC as an example of “extremely successful” artists who didn’t amass the riches of some of the rappers who came after them.

“It wasn’t just music,” Rick Ross added after mentioning his Top 3 GOATS ventures outside rapping. “They was doing a lot of different s###.”

The Biggest Bawse put his hefty pockets on display in more ways than one during the interview. After claiming he broke Adin Ross’s chair because of all the cash he carries around, Rick Ross offered to put up a staggering sum for a celebrity boxing match.

He shared his interest in financing a potential bout after Adin Ross told him he wanted to fight fellow streamer iShowSpeed.

“If I wanted to put up $5 million would you do that—you versus him [iShowSpeed],” Rozay asked. “I believe this is a great situation, this is a great business venture, am I wrong?”
