Ceasar Of Black Ink Says Dog Attacked Him, But Has Made Changes!

If you were looking at headlines, and not the landmark decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, you might’ve noticed that Caesar  from Black Ink crew was unceremoniously kicked off by VH1. The network received a disturbing video of the reality TV star allegedly abusing a dog. Well, that was all they needed to see. They then decided it was time to get rid of this guy and move on with the show series.

There is so many infractions in reality TV, I didn’t know that such a thing existed – going too far. You know, a reason to get kicked off. Well, he claims that this was all one big set up and that it worked. There is apparently some context to the situation that is not public. Basically, he was trying to do something with the dog and part of it dealt with him defending himself. But, the optics do not tell enough of a story to exonerate him completely. So, it looks like he’s out of there.

What next? I’m not sure, but like I said there is a set up component to this. It looks like his ex took a two years old video and made it current in order to get him booted from the highly successful reality show series. VH1 seems to dislike us Blacks. T.I.’s show was cancelled and the reason for the suspension in the first place was wrong. But that’s another story.

The source close to the matter revealed some insight on where he may be with it. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like much will change even though Caesar’s intent was not purely evil the way it was portrayed in the media.

They told us, “Ceaser is extremely apologetic for his actions and loss control of his temper after dog attacked him. He feels really bad for how he handled everything he did. The dogs are safe and healthy. He also took dog training following the incident 2years ago to better discipline his dogs.”

Cardi B Loses Her Temper Over Roe Vs Wade Critics

Rap star Cardi B continues to battle with her Twitter followers, and this time she seems to have reached a breaking point.

Earlier this morning, Cardi B posted a picture of herself dancing, drawing more scorn from a particular portion of her following.

Some people criticized Cardi B for not weighing in on the Supreme Court’s controversial decision to overturn Roe Vs. Wade.

The ruling will ban abortions in at least 25 states around the country.

Shortly after the decision was announced, protests broke out all around the country, including in Washington, DC, and Cardi’s hometown of New York City.

Cardi B finally issued a statement, but it’s probably not the one her critics were waiting for.

The rap star said she started minded her own business after controversy erupted when she questioned if the United States was heading for a recession.

The chatter grew so loud that U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen answered Cardi B’s Twitter question about a possible recession at a policy forum.

However, that did not stop her fans from weighing in on the controversy swirling around the United States over the abortion ruling.

And that did not sit well with Cardi.

“Every single time that I talk about political s###, y’all get me f###### dragged. So shut the f### up. You hear me? Matter of fact, just a couple of weeks ago I talked about ‘hey watch, we’re entering in a recession. When is the government going to talk about we’re entering a recession?’ You’re the ones that told me ‘mind my business. You’re rich.’ Matter of fact, every single time that I talk about something that’s going on in the community, y’all tell me to mind my business. So suck my dick,” an enraged Cardi B said.

Cardi’s frustration is reasonable and justified – it’s a continuation of the tension between her and her followers that erupted yesterday (June 24th).

Cardi snapped at a troll who took a very inappropriate shot at her young daughter, Kulture. The troll labeled Kulture autistic, and Mama Cardi was having none of it.

“Don’t bring my kids up on s###…This is all because I put a video of me dancing and y’all wanted me to talk about rod vs wade …WHY YALL BRING UP KIDS FOR? Wtf my kids gotta do wit yall misery?,” she fumed.

“My child is 3 years old,” Cardi B wrote. “You see this why abortions shouldn’t get banned …cause that’s the first s### your mother should of done with your glitter bottom ass,” the rapper said.

In 2018, Cardi B was the subject of criticism surrounding her pregnancy with baby Kulture.

Some fans wondered why she decided to keep the baby at the height of her career. Although Cardi B never revealed her stance on abortion, her decision to keep Kulture made a strong statement.

“It really bothers me and it disgusts me because I see a lot of women online like, ‘Oh I feel sorry for you! Now your career is over!'” Cardi B said during an appearance on The Breakfast Club morning show. “Why can’t I have both? Why do I got to chose a career or a baby? Like, why can’t I have both?”

Did Angry White Women Tear Up Los Angeles Over Roe V. Wade?

The Supreme Court of the United States has overturned Roe Wade, in a landmark decision that will probably redefine the times. I don’t know about you, but this is another step into the matrix called America.

Also this week they created the opportunity for complete lawlessness to occur in New York City and other places. Now they can walk around with concealed weapons in New York without legal repercussion if all their paperwork and stuff is right. How crazy is that? Also there is now no separation between church and state apparently.

Anyway, yesterday Los Angeles and New York were a complete zoo. Both places had huge protest marches and rioting. Now, these riots were not led by people of color, as is often portrayed in the news. This time, the lawlessness was whites. I do not watch the news the way used to, because it quite frankly brings my whole soul down. But if I were to watch it I doubt I would see the level of reporting on white perpetrators the way we saw black rioters and looters being portrayed incessantly over and over and over.

However, this Roe v. Wade situation has white women up in arms. Remember, back in the day, when Donald Trump was running for president and it was time to vote. About 50% of all white women voted for Donald Trump. And then when he was elected, those same white women protested his presidency. How’s Sway?

So here we go again! Now this is not too dis-white women, or fire shots at them. But we have to look at the hypocrisy of our times in the situation. The reason why Roe v. Wade was struck down is because several Trump appointed judges were put in the Supreme Court. And they in turn made decisions that affect us all. Most notably Black women. But, we have to also remember how this even got to be. Part of it is that white people and white women voted for him in the first place. I’m not talking about anything local, just the presidency.

And now this country is like a mental health zoo. The inmates are running the asylum.

Lil Nas X Takes A Leak On A BET Award To Show His Anger Over “Black Gay” Snub

Lil Nas X has taken his feud with the BET Awards up a notch with a nasty lewd post as the event prepares to get underway in Los Angeles this weekend. 

The “Old Town Road” hitmaker called out the organization, which celebrates African Americans in music, acting, sports, and other fields of entertainment, earlier this month after he failed to receive any nominations for the annual awards show for the second year in a row.

He has now taken more shots at BET with his latest release, the NBA YoungBoy collaboration “Late To Da Party.”

The 23-year-old continued to slam BET with the single’s cover art, which depicts a person urinating on a BET Award that has been put down the toilet. 

The image clearly references Kanye West’s 2020 viral video in which he does the same to a Grammy.

The singer also posted a spoof of Star Wars’ iconic opening crawl – titled “Episode I: F### BET” – to explain the story behind the upcoming video.

“NBA YOUNGBOY is on house arrest, trapped on the isolated planet HATU. The Brutal Empire of Terror (BET) has betrayed LIL NAS X, turning their back on him after using him for clout,” the crawl reads. “With the music industry in turmoil, the galaxy is looking for a hero. NAS must use the ancient power of VIDEO EDITING to free YB and defeat the evil BET before time runs out…”

The song opens with Lil Nas X chanting “F### BET” and concludes with him crashing the awards and repeating the chant on the stage.

Venting his frustrations about his awards snub, Lil Nas tweeted earlier this month, “I just feel like black gay ppl have to fight to be seen in this world and even when we make it to the top mfs (motherf**kers) try to pretend we are invisible (sic).”

BET responded in a statement, declaring they “love” the musician and “use all of our platforms to provide visibility and inclusion for all of the many intersections of the Black community.”

The 2022 BET Awards, hosted by Taraji P. Henson, will take place in Los Angeles on Sunday.

DaeShawn Forrest Unpacks Newfound Appreciation For Life On New Single, Once More

When it comes to the life and hardships faced by 22-year-old Hip-Hop artist and producer, DaeShawn Forrest, he is not afraid to peel back the layers and be transparent. While releasing his three previous singles “A Moment’s Time”, “Walk Away”, and his latest one, “Revenge On The Soul”, the artist did not refrain from discussing his experiences with depression, anger, heartbreak, and even suicidal thoughts. 2022 BET Awards To Present Star-Studded Diddy Tribute Performance

The 2022 BET Awards will take place in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 26 at 8 pm ET. The show will feature Hip Hop entrepreneur Sean “Diddy Combs receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Previous Lifetime Achievement Award recipients include industry icons Whitney Houston, Prince, Queen Latifah, Anita Baker, Mary J. Blige, Samuel Jackson, Lionel Richie, New Edition, and more. 

In addition, Diddy will perform at the show. Mary J. Blige, Jodeci, Nas, Lil’ Kim, Busta Rhymes, The Lox, Bryson Tiller, Faith Evans, and The Maverick City Choir will also take part in the star-studded tribute.

“Diddy has always been a pioneering force in our community, breaking barriers, achieving unprecedented heights, blazing new trails, and, in so doing, raising the bar for all of us,” stated Scott Mills, BET CEO.

BET previously announced additional performances. The lineup contains Chance The Rapper, Jack Harlow, Joey Bada$$, Roddy Ricch, Latto, Lizzo, Chlöe, Muni Long, and more.

Award-winning actress Taraji P. Henson will serve as host for this year’s BET Awards. Los Angeles-bred rapper/singer Doja Cat goes into the evening with the most nominations (6).

Doja Cat is up for Best Female Hip Hop Artist, Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, BET Her (“Woman”), Best Collaboration (“Kiss Me More”), Video Of The Year (“Kiss Me More”), and Album Of The Year (Planet Her).

Eminem Teases ‘Curtain Call 2’ With Snoop Doog Collab ‘From The D 2 The LBC’

Eminem appears to be plotting a second greatest hits album.

The Shady Records boss hinted at a sequel to Curtain Call: The Hits with the release of his Snoop Dogg-assisted single “From the D 2 the LBC.” Eminem used the hashtag #curtaincall2 while sharing his new song on Twitter and Instagram.

Eminem’s “From the D 2 the LBC” music video also teased Curtain Call 2. An animated portion of the video featured a pinball machine with the title on display about a minute and 13 seconds into the visuals.

Slim Shady released Curtain Call: The Hits amid rumors of retirement in 2005. The compilation included three original songs – “F###,” “Shake That” featuring Nate Dogg and “When I’m Gone” – and a live rendition of “Stan” with Elton John.

Curtain Call: The Hits debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The compilation was certified diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America in March 2022.

Eminem and Snoop Dogg’s “From the D 2 the LBC” will presumably appear on Curtain Call 2. The song arrived a week after Slim Shady dropped a CeeLo Green collaboration titled “The King & I,” which appeared on the soundtrack for Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis movie.

‘Black Ink Crew’ Boss Ceaser Emanuel Thinks Leaked Dog Abuse Video Was Setup

Black Ink Crew New York’s Ceaser Emanuel responded to the outrage over footage of him abusing dogs.

Emanuel issued an apology of sorts after VH1 fired him on Thursday (June 23). The Black Ink Crew star attempted to justify his actions, claiming he was actually breaking up a fight between his dogs.

“I know the footage that everybody seen, it looks crazy,” he said. “Even me looking at it, it looks crazy. But it’s a moment in time I wish I could take back. I came home, my dogs is attacking each other. And I don’t mean the regular, just play fighting. I mean they was going for each other’s necks, basically trying to kill each other.”

He continued, “I separated the dogs. Now, one of the dogs attacked me. What I did was open the garage door, try to deescalate it. But I was nervous. I’m not gonna tell you no lie. I was nervous and I was scared. So, at the end of the day, I was trying to back the dog down. I was honestly trying to scare him. At not one time was I trying to abuse this dog. All I was trying to do was get him back in his cage.”

Although Emanuel tried to defend what he did, the Black Ink Crew boss seemingly understood he crossed a line.

“I’m not gonna make no excuses for myself,” he said. ‘I should’ve behaved better. But that’s not me with being cruel to animals or anything like that. I’m not that. What I did was a mistake and that was just it.”

Emanuel also revealed the leaked footage came from his own Ring camera. The Black Ink Crew cast member believed the leak was a setup.

“I don’t know how the footage got leaked,” he said. “I know that was off my Ring camera … I’ma keep it a buck with you. I feel like I’m being set up in some way because the way I’m being portrayed, that’s not my character.”

Cardi B Goes Off On Troll, Says Mother Should Have Had An Abortion

Cardi B clashed with social media trolls in defense of her daughter Kulture on Friday (June 24).

The Atlantic Records artist put multiple Twitter users on blast, causing them to delete their posts. Cardi B didn’t hold back after several trolls mocked her daughter.

“My child is 3 years old,” Cardi B wrote. “You see this why abortions shouldn’t get banned …cause that’s the first s### your mother should of done with your glitter bottom ass,” the rapper said referencing today’s controversial abortion ban after The Supreme Court overturned Roe vs. Wade.

She responded to another, “My daughter is not autistic. You can’t call her ugly so y’all have to diagnose her wit something. Go play in traffic b####.”

Cardi B shared a video of her daughter amid the Twitter attacks. She praised her child while taking another shot at the trolls.

“Beautiful and smart ….but you know the ones that get rejected by their parents always love to try my kids,” she wrote.

Cardi B also issued a warning about mentioning her children on social media.

“30,40,50 …Don’t bring my kids up on s###,” she declared. “This is all because I put a video of me dancing and y’all wanted me to talk about rod vs wade …WHY YALL BRING UP KIDS FOR? Wtf my kids gotta do wit yall misery?”

The Next Rap Album To Hit May Start A Revolution

Rap music now is disproportionately ratchet, gang related, h0e-ish and a bunch of other stuff. Nobody says “We hate yall,” but some people are like, “Lets see and hear some other facets of the culture.” Like you cannot tell me there are NO young revolutionary rappers around. Or some rappers not named Drake that want you to dance!

So, what do we have here? We have a situation where we there is an imbalance. So, I heard a rumor. I do not know the length of this, but I heard Attorney Ben Crump may be doing an album as a companion-piece to his new Netflix documentary “Civil.” The movie chronicles his life as a Civil Rights attorney from the early days to the present day.

The rumor is that Brother Crump is putting together a compilation album of rappers of a more conscious variety or getting some modern-day griots to spit the real. This serves a dual role. 1) It obviously promotes the movie, but it 2) sets it off for the more proactive, solution-based rap artist to get some traction. Maybe he can sue the labels for not giving the fans what the really need. If you can sue cigarette companies for messing up the health of people, why not? Some of this stuff is as bad as smoking a pack a day!

Anyway, I hope they make it happen, just to get something other than gunplay, drug dealing and other stuff!

EXCLUSIVE: Reverend Al Sharpton Blames Donald Trump For Supreme Court Decision To Overturn Roe V. Wade

For the first time in the history of Hip-Hop culture, women in the United States will not be able to terminate a pregnancy freely. 

In a split decision, 5-4, the Supreme Court overturned Roe Vs. Wade, a 50-year decision that allowed for individuals to release pregnancies during the first two trimesters, and Planned Parenthood v. Casey decided in 1992.

Roe vs. Wade, passed by the highest court in the nation in 1973, established the constructional rights for all women to be allowed to end a pregnancy and be protected by the government.

Planned Parenthood vs. Casey established that the constitutional right to liberty included the right to privacy in choosing to have an abortion.

According to CNBC, not all people will be affected with the overturning of the laws. Only certain states, almost half, will immediately implement laws to lock up or penalize women for choosing not to continue with their pregnancies.

Some states like New York have already vowed to protect the issues of reproductive health and women’s wellness.

Connected to this decision is an extremely restrictive Mississippi anti-abortion law that is set to force many women to put themselves in danger to self-release pregnancies, participate in back-alley procedures or cross state lines to seek legal, medical assistance.

The Reverend Al Sharpton reacted to the news during a conversation with 300 Entertainment founder Kevin Liles at the NASDAQ Marketsite in New York today (June 24th). 

“Well, I think the first thing is, it is going to disproportionally impact our community, the Black community because we are the ones that can least afford to find other ways to deal with if we decide to not have a child,” Rev. Sharpton said. 

“I think that it is definitely a slap in the face of people’s right to choose. I don’t understand how we can, in one breath, say that we want to make sure that all children are born, but then once they’re born, we cut off all the services for the children,” Rev. Sharpton continued. “They love the embryo and hate the baby because you cut off childcare, you cut off daycare, you cut off things for public education. So you love me in the womb, but when I come out the womb, you trying to kill me while I’m alive. It’s all politics, which is why we should never underestimate voting.”

Three of the five justices that voted to overturn Roe vs. Wade were appointed by former President Donald Trump: Neul Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett.

They all said they would respect the 1973 decision but did not keep their word.

“The reason why they did us in with Roe Vs. Wade this morning is Donald Trump put three people on the Supreme Court. It’s just that simple. And if Donald Trump had not been president, he couldn’t have done that.” – The Reverend Sharpton

Conservative-leaning Justice Samuel Alito wrote in the majority opinion on the case, “We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled.”

“The Constitution makes no reference to abortion, and no such right is implicitly protected by any constitutional provision, including the one on which the defenders of Roe and Casey now chiefly rely — the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment,” he continued.

“That provision has been held to guarantee some rights that are not mentioned in the Constitution, but any such right must be ‘deeply rooted in this Nation’s history and tradition’ and’ implicit in the concept of ordered liberty,” Justice Alito added.

“It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives,” Justice Alito wrote.

Three of those who voted to keep Roe vs. Wade, Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor, and Elena Kagan, wrote in dissent, “The majority has overruled Roe and Casey for one and only one reason: because it has always despised them, and now it has the votes to discard them. The majority thereby substitutes a rule by judges for the rule of law.”

“Today’s Court, that is, does not think there is anything of constitutional significance attached to a woman’s control of her body and the path of her life,” it said. “A State can force her to bring a pregnancy to term, even at the steepest personal and familial costs.”

In response, many people have taken to social media.

Netflix, Disney, Paramount, and Comcast said they would cover travel costs for employees who live in a state where abortion is banned to go to other states for a safe and legal procedure.

Nipsey Hussle’s Friend Refuses To Testify; Judge Issues $500,000 Bench Warrant

Getting a conviction of the man who fatally shot Nipsey Hussle will be more challenging than one might hope. 

Sure, there is a video of Eric Holder shooting the famous rap star on March 31st, 2019, but that is not enough for the prosecution to get a slam dunk in the case.

One reason — which ironically is the same reason he was shot — is the concept of snitching.

Many witnesses are not cooperating on the stand when giving their testimony, and some have not shown up. 

According to Local 10, the presiding judge, H. Clay Jacke II, had to issue a bench warrant with a $500,000 bail on Thursday, June 23rd, for an eyewitness who was a no-show at the ongoing trial for Holder, the person charged with Nipsey Hussle’s murder.

The person is Evan “Rimpau” MacKenzie, a man who served as a pallbearer at the “Victory Lap” artist’s funeral. He apparently doesn’t want to testify for the prosecution, who is fighting to get legal justice for his friend. 

MacKenzie, who was also standing next to Nipsey Hussle when he was shot, has continuously ignored subpoenas to come to court for this case, and authorities believe he doesn’t want to be viewed as a rat by his colleagues in the street.

Eric Holder’s attorney Aaron Jansen asked if MacKenzie had a “reluctancy to testify.” Los Angeles police Detective Cedric Washington, who did testify, said he believed that to be true.

Another person who is reluctant to testify is Kerry Lathan, who was wounded in the shooting. Lathan, who took the stand last week, refused to even identify himself and Holder (as the shooter) on the surveillance footage played in court for jurors.

Lathan said, “I don’t know nothing, don’t see nothing.” Deputy District Attorney John McKinney asked, “You don’t want to testify about what happened?”

“That’s right,” Lathan answered.

Jansen asked the detective, “Typically, in gang cases, is there a reluctance to testify?”

“I wouldn’t limit it to gang cases,” Washington continued.

Jansen said, “I’m asking about gang cases.”

“I do believe it is common, yes,” Washington said.

Jansen continued, “Several witnesses, in this case, have said they did not want to come to court, and they felt that their families would be in danger, right?”

The detective did not blame everyone’s hesitation in testifying on gang activity.

“I’ve investigated many cases that are outside of the scope of gang cases. I’ve found that a majority of people are reluctant to come to court or talk to law enforcement,” said Washington. “Everybody seems to think that from coming to court, they are going to be subject to retaliation.”

The case is developing, but everyone is anxious to see who from the hood will testify.

French Montana On NYC Hip Hop: We Have To Embrace Mayor Eric Adams

Members of the Bronx community and rap fans around the world are still reeling from the news of Lil Tjay (born Tione Jayden Merritt) being shot multiple times in New Jersey.

Fellow Bronx native French Montana expressed positive vibes toward Tjay after the shooting. On June 22, the Hip Hop veteran tweeted, “Pray for my lil bro Lil Tjay 🙏🏽.”

During a recent interview with SiriusXM’s Sway in the Morning, French Montana brought up street life in New York and the city’s mayor Eric Adams. Montana also addressed what happened to Tjay as part of his conversation with Sway Calloway and Heather B.

“Nowadays, they’re making the artist the drug dealer and the killer and everything. It’s sad for Hip Hop,” said French Montana.

He added, “In order for us to make a change, we have to embrace people like [Eric Adams] and people in the higher positions that can help see the vision and help these kids because we don’t have no help out here.”

The Montega project creator continued, “From Pop Smoke to Lil Tjay, look what happened this morning. It’s sad. We don’t got as many artists as it is. Probably like five artists in New York right now.”

French Montana Says He Tried To Sign Lil Tjay

French Montana went on to talk about meeting Mayor Eric Adams at a party with Jennifer Lopez. Additionally, the Morocco-born recording artist recalled nearly adding Lil Tjay to his Coke Boy Records label at one point.

“I was trying to sign Lil Tjay when he first came out. So, we got a dope, dope relationship with him. I mean Tjay, he’s little bro. So, when I heard [about the shooting] this morning it just went right back to, ‘We need help as artists,'” stated French Montana.

Montega by rapper French Montana and producer Harry Fraud dropped today (June 24). The East Coast duo recruited Babyface Ray, EST Gee, Rick Ross, Benny The Butcher, Jadakiss, Quavo, and more as features for the project.

All it took was Cardi B to post four emojis on Twitter for her Bardi Gang fanbase to sit up and take notice. Some of her most dedicated followers now believe a new body of work is dropping soon.

Cardi B Achieved Commercial & Critical Success With 2018’s Invasion of Privacy Album

Back in 2017, Cardi B broke out as a mainstream music star with her “Bodak Yellow” single. That Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper became the lead single to Cardi’s debut studio album Invasion of Privacy.

The 3x-Platinum Invasion of Privacy is the longest-charting album by a female rapper in history. IOP also became the first solo female rap project to win Best Rap Album at the Grammy Awards. Plus, it topped numerous publications’ year-end lists for 2017.

In addition, Cardi B’s Invasion of Privacy hosts the former Hot 100 #1 single “I Like It” with Bad Bunny and J Balvin. The RIAA certified both “Bodak Yellow” and “I Like It” as Diamond (10 million units). Cardi is the only female rapper to have more than one Diamond Award.

There were rumors that Cardi would let loose a new single with a “top male artist in the Hip Hop game” on June 17. However, the former Love & Hip Hop: New York cast member denied those reports. Lil Nas X & YoungBoy Never Broke Again Team Up For “Late To Da Party”

Two of the top young rap stars joined forces for a brand new track. Georgia’s Lil Nas X and Louisiana’s YoungBoy Never Broke Again released “Late To Da Party” via Columbia Records.

YoungBoy is currently on house arrest, so LNX had to get creative for the song’s official music video. The Gibson Hazard-directed visuals began trending on YouTube after its release.

“Late To Da Party” opens with Lil Nas X saying, “F### BET.” The 23-year-old rhymer took issue with the network for being completely shut out of the 2022 BET Award nominations.

The “Late To Da Party” collaboration with YoungBoy Never Broke Again is Lil Nas X’s first single since dropping the Montero studio LP in 2021. That project debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 with 126,000 first-week units.

Montero hosts “Montero (Call Me by Your Name)” and “Industry Baby” with Jack Harlow. Both songs made it to #1 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. The RIAA certified Montero as Platinum in February of this year.

YoungBoy Never Broke Again has several Platinum albums in his discography. He also scored four Number Ones on the Billboard 200, including 2021’s Sincerely, Kentrell. YoungBoy is presently primed to drop The Last Slimeto on August 5.

Coi Leray Reveals Upcoming Collab With Chloe Bailey and Stefflon Don On The New Calvin Harris Album 

Coi Leray is continuing her rise in the music industry with a new song on the upcoming Calvin Harris album, due this summer. 

Following on from her long-awaited collaboration with Nicki Minaj “Blick Blick,” Coi Leray is linking up with Chloe Bailey and Stefflon Don for the new track on the Scottish DJ’s project. The “No More Parties” rapper teased the song during a new interview with Vibe.  

“I look forward to [my] Calvin Harris collab,” she said. I have a song with Chloe Bailey and Stefflon Don on his upcoming project, so I cannot wait until that drops.”  

She also revealed that she’s ready to show her “versatile” side after dropping her debut album, Trendsetter. With the release of recent projects like Drake’s Honestly, Nevermind and Beyoncé’s “Break My Soul” could it be that Coi Leray is also venturing into dance music on the new Calvin Harris album? 

Calvin Harris shared the first song from his upcoming Funk Wav Bounces Vol.2 last month. “Potion,” released on May 27 features Young Thug with vocals from Dua Lipa.

The “We Found Love” hitmaker has hinted at the follow-up to Funk Wav Bounces Vol.1 for months. “Funk Wav Vol. 2 coming soon,” he wrote in May.  

While in April Calvin Harris shared an image of a billboard bearing the title of the album “Summer ‘22,” he wrote.  

He also told a fan to “Get ready,” for its arrival. “It’s the maddest album I’ve ever put together by a lonnnggg way,” he shared.  

Chris Brown Drops New “Breezy” Album & Debuts Surprise Video Ft. Fivio Foreign 

Chris Brown has finally delivered his highly anticipated tenth studio album Breezy, while teasing a deluxe version of the project with an extra ten tracks. 

After an extensive rollout, Breezy finally arrived on Friday (Jun. 24) with a star-studded guest list of features. Lil Durk, Bryson Tiller, Jack Harlow, Anderson .Paak, Bleu, Lil Wayne, Fivio Foreign, and Tory Lanez join Chris Brown on the project.  

The singer took to Instagram to pay tribute to everyone who contributed to the project. He thanked his staff before noting, “IF I LEAVE ANYONE OUT IM SO SORRY. MOST IMPORTANTLY,, TEAM BREEZY…. During the episode, he spoke on the state of modern R&B music with the show’s hosts, Gillie Da King and Wallo267.
