Megan Thee Stallion Set To Return From Self-Imposed Hiatus As Tina Snow

Back in April, one of the top talents in Hip Hop said she was stepping away from the spotlight for a while. A message on Instagram read, “Megan Thee Stallion is recharging! Due to the demands of the Hot Girl lifestyle. Meg has now entered a period of regeneration to prepare for what’s next.”

Megan Thee Stallion is now ready to make a return from her self-imposed two-month hiatus. Over the weekend, the Good News album creator announced her alter-ego Tina Snow, which was inspired by the late Pimp C of UGK, is back.

Tina Snow is also the name of Megan Thee Stallion’s second EP. That 10-track project released in 2018 hosted Meg’s breakout hit “Big Ole Freak” which became the rapper’s first entry on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, peaking at #65.

“Big Ole Freak” went on to earn Platinum certification. Megan also secured plaques for other hits such as “Cash S###” with DaBaby, “Hot Girl Summer” with Nicki Minaj & Ty Dolla Sign, “B.I.T.C.H.,” “Captain Hook,” “Girls in the Hood,” and “Body.”

In 2020, Megan Thee Stallion added two Hot 100 #1 songs to her career discography. “Savage (Remix)” featuring Beyoncé topped the weekly Billboard rankings in May of that year.

Megan scored another Number One as a guest on Cardi B’s record-breaking “WAP” single. The 5x-Platinum, sex-positive collaboration also became the first #1 on the inaugural Billboard Global 200 chart.

Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion broke the internet and triggered conservative pundits with their performance of “WAP” at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards in March. Plus, Megan took home three trophies that night, including the coveted Best New Artist award.

Over the last month, Megan Thee Stallion also won Top Rap Female Artist at the Billboard Music Awards and Best Collaboration for “Savage (Remix)” at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. The Houston native leads the 2021 BET Awards contenders with seven nominations.

T.I. Reportedly Buys $3.3 Million Mansion In Georgia

Clifford “T.I.” Harris apparently put down over $3 million for a new home in his home state. The Atlanta-raised rapper reportedly bought a 7-bed, 10-bath, 14,000-square-foot mansion late last year.

According to TMZ, T.I. purchased the estate on the Chattahoochee River for $3,265,000 at the end of 2020. Tip and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle-Harris have showcased their family life in Georgia on the VH1 reality series The Family Hustle and Friends & Family Hustle.

In February, VH1 suspended production of the fourth season of T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle after the couple faced allegations of sexual abuse by multiple women. The alleged victims accused T.I. and Tiny of trafficking, drugging, and coercion.

T.I. denied involvement in any sex-related crimes. In January, The L.I.B.R.A. album creator posted an 8-minute Instagram video addressing the initial accusations. More women have since implicated T.I. and Tiny in additional possible crimes.

The Daily Beast reported that T.I. and Tiny are under criminal investigation in Los Angeles County, California following an anonymous woman claiming she was drugged and assaulted by the couple in 2005. A separate case in Las Vegas has supposedly been closed by local authorities because the statute of limitations for the alleged 2010 incident has passed.

“The Harrises have not spoken to or been contacted by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), the Las Vegas Police Department (LVPD) or, indeed, any member of law enforcement from any other jurisdiction in the country,” said T.I. and Tiny’s attorney Steve Sadow.

Some of the accusers started to hire lawyers and contact law enforcement following Glam University founder Sabrina Peterson calling out T.I. for allegedly putting a gun to her head. She then threatened to sue T.I., Tiny, and the couple’s former friend/co-worker Shekinah Anderson for defamation.

Peterson offered to drop the lawsuit if T.I. publicly apologized within seven days of her request. The 40-year-old musician/actor and Tiny laughed off the proposal. Peterson then seemed to react to the mockery by referring to T.I. as a narcissist.

First Week Sales Projections For Lil Durk & Lil Baby’s ‘The Voice Of The Heroes’ Are In

28-year-old Lil Durk and 26-year-old Lil Baby are two of the hottest Hip Hop artists on the planet at the moment. When the two rhymers began teasing that a joint project titled The Voice Of The Heroes was coming, expectations were set high.

A lot of consumers were apparently interested in what the Baby and Durk had to say on The Voice Of The Heroes. According to HitsDailyDouble, the collaborative effort is on pace to open with 165,000-185,000 first-week units.

V.O.H. is projected to topple Taylor Swift’s Evermore and Olivia Rodrigo’s Sour for the #1 position on next week’s Billboard 200 chart. That would give Lil Baby his second Number One and Lil Durk his first Number One.

Lil Baby reached the pinnacle of the Billboard 200 with 2020’s My Turn which held onto the pole position for five non-consecutive weeks. Lil Durk peaked at #2 on the weekly rankings with Just Cause Y’all Waited 2 in 2020 and The Voice in 2021.

The Voice Of The Heroes features Travis Scott, Meek Mill, Young Thug, and Rod Wave. Nine-time NBA All-Star James Harden of the Brooklyn Nets is credited as an executive producer for the album.

Lil Baby and Lil Durk published the “Voice of the Heroes” and “How It Feels” music videos over the last week. Both visuals are still trending in the Top 5 of YouTube’s music section.

Prior to The Voice Of The Heroes arriving on DSPs, Baby and Durk united for “Finesse Out the Gang” off the deluxe version of Durk’s The Voice. They were also featured on DJ Khaled’s Top 20 single “Every Chance I Get” which lives on the Khaled Khaled album.

Lil Durk and Lil Baby have been making bold public declarations over the last six months. In December, Durkio proclaimed himself as one of the Top 3 rappers right now. Two months later, he referred to himself as “The Chicago Jay-Z.” Additionally, Atlanta’s Lil Baby said The Voice Of The Heroes would be one of the “craziest albums” ever.

DMX’s Posthumous Album ‘Exodus’ Debuts In The Top 10

Friends, colleagues, and admirers of DMX came together to finalize the late emcee’s first posthumous album. Exodus arrived on May 28 with guest appearances by some of the biggest names in Hip Hop and R&B.

DMX’s eight studio album pulled in 32,000 equivalent album units in its first week of release. That total was enough for the project to land at #8 on the Billboard 200 chart, giving Earl Simmons his eighth Top 10 project.

This is also the second DMX album to reach the Top 10 in 2021. The Best of DMX compilation skyrocketed to #2 following the New York rapper’s untimely passing on April 9.

Swizz Beatz played a major role in putting Exodus together. In addition, the longtime DMX collaborator and Ruff Ryders representative appeared on the songs “That’s My Dog” with The Lox and “Dog’s Out” with Lil Wayne.

Exodus also features Jay-Z, Nas, Moneybagg Yo, Alicia Keys, Bono, Westside Gunn, Benny The Butcher, Conway The Machine, Snoop Dogg, Usher, and others. Production was provided by Swizz Beatz, AraabMuzik, Prime Maximus, Wonda, Mr. Porter, Avenue Beatz, and more.

“The only tribute [song] was the Moneybagg track. Everything else X was present and happy for,” said Swizz Beatz. He added, “[DMX] just loved the idea of [doing features], but he was a little sneaky about it because, in his mind, he loved that he was able to work with them. On the other hand, he figured out it was less work for him. He really loved it.”

Another LP from a deceased Hip Hop artist also made the Billboard 200’s latest Top 10. 2018’s Goodbye & Good Riddance by Juice WRLD returned to the region for the first time in eighteen months. A third-anniversary re-release catapulted the set from #30 to #7.

J. Cole’s former Number One, The Off-Season, slipped a spot to #3. Moneybagg Yo’s A Gangsta’s Pain held onto #5. The Weeknd’s After Hours rebounded from #12 to #9. Pop Smoke’s Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon fell out of the Top 10 for the first time since January.

Justin Bieber Recruits Ludacris, Usher & Snoop Dogg For “Peaches” Remix

Earlier this year, Justin Bieber scored another #1 hit on the Hot 100 chart with “Peaches” featuring R&B singers Daniel Caesar and Giveon. The Pop superstar has now released a new version of the track.

“Peaches (Remix)” includes contributions by Hip Hop legends Snoop Dogg and Ludacris as well as R&B icon Usher Raymond. Luda opens the song, Ush croons the second verse, and Snoop raps the final verse. Bieber handles the hook.

Usher helped turn Justin Bieber into an A-list entertainer under the Raymond Braun Media Group alongside Scooter Braun. Ludacris previously collaborated with Bieber for the Canadian’s breakout single “Baby” in 2010. Snoop Dogg took part in Comedy Central’s roast of Bieber.

Justin Bieber has worked with numerous Hip Hop artists throughout his career. He recently named his Top 5 emcees on DJ Khaled’s The First One podcast. Bieber’s personal GOAT list includes Drake, Lil Wayne, The Notorious B.I.G., Eminem, and Kanye West.

The original “Peaches” lives on Justin Bieber’s 2021 album Justice. Khalid, Chance The Rapper, The Kid LAROI, Burna Boy, Lil Uzi Vert, Jaden, Quavo, DaBaby, Tori Kelly, and more acts appear on the deluxe edition of the studio LP.

Justice debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart by racking up 154,000 first-week units. At 27 years old, Justin Bieber became the youngest solo artist to attain eight No. 1 albums. The former teen idol surpassed Elvis Presley who was 29 years and 11 months when he charted his eighth Number One.

Tekashi 69 Laughs At Lil Durk’s Brother’s Murder

Tekashi 69 continues to beef with Lil Durk, even as the rapper mourns the loss of his brother.

Earlier this morning, Durk’s brother Dante “DThang” Banks Jr was shot and killed outside of a Chicago area club.

The 32-year-old fell victim to a rash of gun violence that hit the city over the weekend, claiming six lives and injuring 43 more people.

While Durk must still be processing the tragedy, Tekashi 69 wasted no time offering up his opinion on the shooting.

The Brooklyn rapper, who has been at odds with Lil Durk – and almost every other rapper – taunted him in an IG stories post, calling for Durk to avenge his brother’s death.

“WHEN WILL YOU SLIDEEEEEERE,” Tekashi 69 wrote. “I know ‘excuses.’ ‘The feds watchin.’ ‘You Tranna get n##### caught up,'” Tekashi 69 said before offering up another tasteless message considering the circumstance.

“YOUR BROTHER JUST GOT A BULLET IN HIS HEAD…GOOOOO SLIDEEEE,” Tekashi 69 wrote.

To make matters worse, Tekashi 69 laughed at DThang’s murder on one of Durk’s Instagram posts.

Tekashi 69 makes fun of Lil Durk in the wake of his brother’s death

Tekashi 69 has been at war with Chicago rappers like Lil Durk, Lil Reese, and Chief Keef since at least 2018.

In fact, Tekashi 69 paid one of his former gang associates $10,000 to take a shot at Chief Keef in the middle of Times Square.

Kintea “Kooda B” McKenzie was hit with 4.5 years in prison over the assassination attempt In June of 2018.

Tekashi 69 ended up testifying against Kooda and other members of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, which earned him the nickname “Snitch9” from a variety of rappers.

Tekashi 69’s cooperation earned him a reduced sentence, and a judge unleashed him back on the streets in April of 2020.

Since then, the Brooklyn rapper has feuded with everyone from Meek Mill, to Lil Durk.

Tekashi 69 also made a series of disrespectful comments after the death of OTF group member King Von, who was shot and killed on November 6, 2020, in front of a hookah lounge in Atlanta.

Potential Jurors In R. Kelly Trial To Be Quizzed On STD’s, Me Too And Other Uncomfortable Questions

R. Kelly is preparing to face sexual racketeering charges this August and his lawyers are getting questions ready for potential jurors for his first trial in Brooklyn.

Jury selection is set to begin as R. Kelly’s August 9 trial date approaches.

The Chicago-bred singer is facing a litany of charges, including bribery, sexual exploitation of a child, kidnapping, transportation of minors, violation of the Mann Act, engaging in illegal sexual activity, illegal coercion, and enticement of individuals, and forced labor.

One of his lawyers, Michael Leonard, just submitted a list of questions to Judge Ann Donnelly, which will be sent out to potential jurors on July 26.

Potential jurors will have to answer several personal questions, as the singer tries to find the most favorable pool of anonymous jurors. AllHipHop.com obtained a list of questions, and potential jurors are warned that they will be asked some really personal questions:

“Although some of the questions may appear to be of a personal nature, please understand that these questions will help the parties and the Court select a fair and impartial jury,” the questionnaire reads.

R. Kelly’s team wants to know if any of the potential jurors have ever contracted an STD, since the singer is accused of intentionally giving one of his alleged victims herpes.

“The charges in this case involve allegations regarding unintentional exposure to one or more sexually transmitted diseases…have you, a family member, or close friend, ever contracted or been exposed to a sexually transmitted disease? Please explain who (but not by name), and indicate how this impacted you?’ reads one question.

Another question reads: “Have you or a friend or family member ever been accused of, or investigated for, or been the involved in a charge or litigation regarding sexual harassment? Please explain the nature of the
allegations, the approximate date(s), and the outcome; and what, if any, effect this experience has had on you.”

R. Kelly’s lawyers are also worried about the impact of the rise of the “Me Too Movement,” which was launched by Tarana Burke in 2006 and popularized by actress/activist Alyssa Milano in 2017.

“Have you supported or participated in the ‘Me Too’ movement in any way?…please generally describe, including any funding provided, events attended, protests participated in, postings or blogs made or responded to, or any other forms of support,” reads another question posed by R. Kelly and his defense team.

The singer also wants to know jurors favorite TV shows, their favorite music groups, their favorite websites and if they have ever attended a “rock concert.”

Sit Back And Get Ready To Laugh At These Celebrities Who Made Complete FOOLS Of Themselves!

When you look at your favorite celebrities, what do you see? Celebrities are sold to us in a way that makes them seem out of reach and away from us, and there’s a whole media thing behind this to elevate them higher than we are.

So, we admire singers, politicians, actors, musicians, and more, and we idolize everything they do. Celebrities are trendsetters and they influence us via magazines, social media, and media tabloids. Everything your favorite celebrities do is designed to influence us and make us feel like we should be achieving more.

The thing is, these celebs and politicians are real people and they make very real mistakes. And being famous means their mistakes are splashed over all of those mediums we listed earlier.

Celebrities make blunders, and we’ve got some of the most embarrassing moments that are out there in the news right now, still circulating no matter how long it’s been!

NBA Star James Harden Explains Why He Executive Produced Lil Baby and Lil Durk’s Album

Brooklyn Nets guard James Harden is making moves outside of his basketball career and has dabbled into one of his other passions, rap music.

Sure, he can be seen on social media rocking out with all sorts of rappers from Jay-Z to Tsu Surf, but recently he went from being simply a music lover to a music executive.

Check out why he hopped on board to be the Executive Producer for Atlanta rapper Lil’ Baby and Chicago’s hitmaker, Lil Durk’s new project The Voice of the Heroes.

Harden explains why he chose to work with these artists, shifting his aim from the netted basket at the Barclays toward the Billboard charts.

“From the beginning, I’ve had a passion for basketball, and music has always went hand and hand with it,” Harden shares. “It drives me on the daily to continue to be the best at what I do, to always strive for more. I see that same passion in Lil Baby & Lil Durk.”

That passion that he sees in Lil Baby helped the Quality Control artist to win the BET Best New Artist Award in 2019, the BET Hip Hop Awards’ Impact Award in 2020, and the iHeartRadio Music Award for Best Hip Hop Album of the Year in 2021.

Lil Durk’s passion is seen in how resilient he is. After experiencing controversy after controversy, hood angles constantly pulling him back into hood drama, he has successfully created a lane for himself that has even earned him two GRAMMY Nods and an NAACP Image Award nomination for his hit song, “Laugh Now, Cry Later” featuring Drake.

There is a kindred spirit that resonated so much with Harden, who despite his gifts on the court often ruffles feathers of the mainstream.

He continued to share with AllHipHop.com, “[I] can honestly say that I’m a true fan. The initial idea was to get the two together to make a few songs. But with their work ethic and undeniable talent here we are.”

Believe it or not, that “we” is justified. He didn’t just put up the money, but he rocked with them to ensure that they produced magic.

“From late nights in my studio in Houston, the two of them being by my side as I transitioned from Houston to New York,” the 3x All-Star marveled. “It was truly an honor to watch them in their element. Countless hours in the studio watching them create was an absolute privilege, to say the least. They put the same work & dedication into their craft as I do.

“Leaving all-night studio sessions going straight to practice with the songs they made gave me a newfound motivation.”

Harden has nicknames for the rappers: The Voice & The Hero. He rationalized that it made good sense to put “two killers at the top of their game the collaboration.”

So what’s his hope for the project?

Sure the awards and accolades would be nice. The baller confesses, “I just hope the same impact they have on me, they have on the world.”

Lil Durk’s Brother DThang Gunned Down In Chicago

Rap star Lil Durk is suffering another major loss, at the pinnacle of his career.

According to reports, Durk’s 32-year-old brother DThang was shot and killed outside of a Chicago area strip club early this morning (June 6). While details are scarce, reports said gunplay erupted outside of the venue, and DThang was struck in the head.

DThang, born Dante Banks Jr., was close to Durk. In fact, the pair recently attended the star-studded birthday celebration for Quality Control boss Pierre “CEO Pee” Thomas in Atlanta.

The death of Durk brother comes on the heels of his latest critically acclaimed album The Voice Of The Heroes with Lil Baby.

DThang’s murder comes just 7 months to the day, after the death of only the family group member, King Von, who was gunned down in November 6, 2020.  Lil Durk’s cousin OTF Nunu, born McArthur Swindle, was shot and killed in 2014, as he sat in a SUV on the Southside.

And, Durk’s manager OTF Chino,  was shot and killed at the age of 24 as he sat in a Chevy Camaro, in Chicago back in 2015.

DThang’s death caps off another violent weekend in the Windy City. The police said 43 people were shot this weekend – give of them fatally – since Friday night (June 4).

Lil Durk’s fans on Twitter have been wishing him well after the news of his brother’s murder broke.

Did Jay-Z Kick Mariah Off The Roc? Or Did She Leave?

The rumor mill is churning as reports about Pop and R&B diva Mariah Carey terminating her management deal with billionaire rapper Jay-Z.

The five-to-seven octave soprano signed with Roc Nation management in 2017, but has since left after getting into a public argument with the “Big Pimpin’” rapper — in front of his staff.

Simon Boyle reports in his column on the gossip site, the details of what happened. He says that a source told him that “Mariah and Jay had an explosive meeting which did not go well at all. She has made it clear she wants nothing more to do with him and has called it quits with Roc Nation.”

This source further revealed that the singer, who can boast that she is the first artist in the world to have a #1 hit record in four different decades, “will formally depart in the next few weeks.”

When asked what is next from the singer, this unnamed source says, “Mariah has been talking to other managers and thinks she has found someone who she feels has full belief in her as she takes her next steps. There is a heavily R&B- influenced album being finalized at the moment and she is planning a world tour for next year, so she isn’t letting this stand in her way.”

In fact, Mariah Carey has a new single out on Friday, June 11 called “Somewhat Loved” produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. While no official word has been released, her name has been removed from the company’s roster and cannot be found on social media or corporate websites connected to Roc Nation.

Lil Yachty And Bhad Bhabie Hope To Revolutionize Dating For Jewish People

After turning 18, raptress Bhad Bhabie has turned her eyes from being a hellion and now can be called a venture capitalist.

Rolling Stone is reporting that the “Cash Me Outside” artist will be partnering with Lil Yachty to put up money into a Jewish dating app called Lox Club.

The unlikely pairing has launched Scoop Investments, a special fund that will pour the capital resources into Lox Club. Their manager Adam Kluger and three other superminds are joining them in the venture that is billed as a Tinder for “Jews with ridiculously high standards” and “a virtual speakeasy hidden within an old-school deli.”

So what really makes this different from the other dating apps for Jewish singles?

Kluger explains the problem with the market as it stands without the Lox Club, “J-Date screams desperation, J-Swipe is just a p############. There’s a real gap in the marketplace. I was just so surprised at how cool it was. Yachty and Bhabie saw the passion when I was talking about and everyone started asking me questions. Eventually, I said we should come together and do it as a group.”

The Atlantic Records artist posted on her Instagram the good news with the caption: “big bag bhabie 💰👫excited to be a part of @loxclub Love and bagels biches.”

We said she was a venture capitalist and not a fully mature grown-up. Check out her comments on her manager’s page.

DaBaby’s Artist Wisdom Shot Man Twice Over Traffic Dispute

DaBaby’s artist Wisdom has been identified as one of the shooters in the Monday night Florida shooting.

Earlier this week, AllHipHop.com reported that law enforcement in Miami had taken North Carolina rap star DaBaby in for questioning.

After performing almost 30 minutes away from a shooting incident in South Beach, the police released to the public that they were bringing him in for questioning — but did not release why.

Now, news has emerged that one of the possible gunmen of the crime is signed to the “Rockstar” rapper’s Billion Dollar Baby Entertainment label.

The victim, whose name is Ernesto Delgado, says that it all started over a parking spot near a restaurant.

Wisdom’s vehicle’s car door bumped into Delgado’s family’s truck and all hell broke loose.

Wisdom, who is charged with attempted first-degree murder, shot Delgado twice in the leg, after things escalated.

“I looked down. Blood everywhere, you know. I was scared. I was thinking about my daughter. Like, ‘You gotta make it home,'” Delgado told NBC6.

Another man, named Christopher Urena, who was with Delgado and his entourage, also fired a weapon and hit someone – presumably in the rapper’s entourage – and paralyzed him.

There was no big media alert that DaBaby was released from questions or statements that dismissed that he had something to do with the shooting — outside of the alleged gunman being signed to his label.

Wisdom is being held without bond.

As for Delgado, his team is looking to sue the restaurant where the incident took place.

His lawyer Josiah Graham stated, “Should there have been proper security guards out there? This is not the wild wild west. And we can’t just act like that.”

EXCLUSIVE: Mac Miller’s Deadly Drug Dealers Finally Get A Trial Date

After two years of delays, the three men accused of selling Mac Miller the drugs that caused his death will finally be going to trial.

Cameron Pettit, Stephen Walter, and Ryan Reavis were charged with providing the Pittsburgh rapper with cocaine, and oxycodone.

The rapper started receiving drugs from a woman named Mia Johansson, an alleged madam who is accused of being a courier for drugs while providing prostitutes to Mac Miller throughout 2018.

Johansson eventually introduced Mac Miller to Cameron Pettit, and the rap star started buying drugs directly from him.

Just two days before Mac overdosed, he bought five oxycodone pills, five Xanax pills, 10 Adderall pills, five Norco pills and two grams of cocaine from Johansson for drugs that Pettit allegedly supplied.

Mac Miller, born Malcolm James McCormick, accidentally overdosed on September 7th, 2018, after ingesting oxycodone, which was laced with the deadly synthetic drug, fentanyl.

The high-profile nature of Mac Miller’s death led to an immediate investigation by the DEA, who eventually charged Pettit, Reavis, and Walter for being involved in a drug-dealing ring that delivered the drugs to the rapper’s Los Angeles area home.

Cameron Pettit was arrested in September of 2019 and held without bail for allegedly providing one of his drug dealers with the pills to sell to Mac Miller.

On September 23, 2019, the DEA raided Ryan Reavis’ Lake Havasu, Arizona home and found prescription-only pills, a prescription pad, guns, a silencer, and ammunition.

Stephen Walter was taken into custody in Los Angeles the same day. All three men have been held without bail for over two years.

Reavis is facing charges for fraudulent schemes and artifices, possession of marijuana, possession of prescription drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, weapons misconduct by a prohibited possessor, and manufacture of a prohibited weapon.

Reavis was hoping the court would sever his trial from his co-defendants because he was only an “alleged runner and minor participant, who is only alleged to be involved in one transaction,” according to his lawyer Correen Ferrentino.

A judge has denied Reavis’ request. A trial date is set for November 16, 2021, will remain.

All three men have pleaded not guilty.

Trinidadian Bred Artist Heartbreak Redd Drops New Single “Unfortunate”

Recently South Florida based artist HeartBreak Redd delivered his new single “Unfortunate.”  Combining the sounds of hustler music with the sounds of his native Trinidad, HeartBreak Redd’s music reflects his mid-90’s New Jersey upbringing while also shining bright lights on his lavish Miami lifestyle that he’s come to enjoy. Reflecting the pain of hustling and the streets while also glamorizing the Miami life, “Unfortunate” is a breakthrough song for Heartbreak Redd that will bring him into focus for the masses. The single is now available for fans on all the streaming platforms as of May 28th.

“It’s a real deep record and it’s basically just talking about, it’s Unfortunate, I guess basically that people have preyed on my downfall, you know what I am saying? Unfortunate, is a record that I recorded like three years ago. I recorded it in my old apartment, on Brickell. It was the first crib that I had, on the east side of 95 in Miami,” Hearbreak Redd said. “For the Summer we are working on getting organized and we’re working on some singles and so on and so forth. We’re just trying to, like, put out something that’s diversified, something that’s just attracting that more than one type of audience, but like, an accumulation of many audiences in a sense.”

Born in Trinidad but residing in Miami, Heartbreak Redd’s mom moved him to America  in the mid 90’s for better opportunities and he’s travelled back and forth from the U.S. to Trinidad ever since

“I was born in Trinidad, a lot of my childhood life in Trinidad. You know what I am saying? If you know anything about Trinidad, it’s a third world country so my mom came to America at an early age, to obviously sacrifice to get me here in America and she was successful. So I was able to come to America during the mid-90s and I’ve been going back and forth ever since,” Heartbreak said.  “As I grew up, I went through different phases as I traveled around to different states and so on and so forth. Then I ended up just parking for an undetermined amount of time right here in Miami, like the last four or five years.”

Speaking on his varied sound that combines Hip-Hop with Reggae, Soca Calypso, Heartbreak Redd’s sound is diverse and encompasses the diversity of Caribbean cultures that will help him develop that crossover appeal.

“I am very diversified with the music that I put out, I don’t favor one type of style or type of individual. When I say style, I mean, in the same genre, where things always just sound similar. I just make music based on the feel, but like I said, I’m from Trinidad, so, I was raised up around Soca Calypso and Reggae, you know what I am saying? Then I came to America and got introduced to Hip-Hop real early, so, as I grew up, and went through different experiences and stuff like that in my life, I was able to grow on both ends, in a sense. I’m just being more diversified in making music and creating music in a sense.”

Part of the importance for him to travel back and forth to Trinidad is that he invests and gives back to the community there, providing the youth with computers and musical instruments so that they can grow and advance their knowledge of recording music and creating songs.

“When I was their age, not even eight, and I was way younger than them, I always wanted someone up in the states that could show me, talk to me and like tap in with me.  You want to do things for the youth, you want to send back some gear, you want to send back some equipment, you want to power up their passion and s### like that. It means everything to me, doing something for the future heads,” Heartbreak said.

Scientists From NASA’s International Space Orchestra Set To Back Kid Cudi During Performance Of “Man On The Moon III”

Rapper Kid Cudi is preparing for an out-of-this-world collaboration with the International Space Orchestra as part of Amazon Music’s Prime Day celebrations.

The hip-hop star will join Billie Eilish and H.E.R. on the bill for the upcoming Prime Day Show, a “three-part immersive musical event”, and for his extravagant set, he will be departing Earth and heading to the moon for an “intercosmic performance” as he plays songs from his album Man on the Moon III.

Kid Cudi will be backed by musicians from the ISO, the world’s first orchestra composed of space scientists from NASA Ames Research Center, the SETI Institute, and the International Space University, in what has been described as “a musical collision defying sight, sound, and space,” according to event officials.

Meanwhile, Eilish will be taking a virtual step back in time to visit Paris, France for her concert, which will pay tribute to the city known as the birthplace of cinema, as she previews songs from her upcoming release, Happier Than Ever.

The pop sensation will also co-direct the show with Sam Wrench.

As for R&B star H.E.R., she will honor the history of the iconic Dunbar Hotel in Los Angeles as she imagines what the legendary venue would look like in the 21st century as she belts out tracks from her album Back Of My Mind.

The Dunbar Hotel was known for hosting the likes of Duke Ellington, Lena Horne, Billie Holiday, and many other icons of Black culture during the 1930s and ’40s.

All three concert experiences will premiere on Prime Video on June 17 as well as Twitch and IMDb TV, and Jennifer Salke, Head of Amazon Studios, is excited for fans to tune in.

“These iconic artists have not only broken new ground in music but are inspired storytellers, culture creators, and visionaries,” she said.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Billie, H.E.R., and Cudi to bring these authentic and deeply personal specials to fans around the world as we celebrate Prime Day.”

Lil Wayne Prepared For $20 Million War With Ex-Manager

The former attorney for rapper Lil Wayne is suing him for money he claims he is owed. But Tunechi says not so fast, buddy.

Mr. Young Money dismisses the allegations and spits back that the janky lawyer was paid for his service healthily — even though he was supposedly trash at his job.

Ronald Sweeney is suing the “Lollipop” artist for $20 million and contends that he has worked with him since 2005, negotiated big deals, and handled a plethora of the free spirit rock star’s lawsuits.

He says that he is owed a commission for his work. Sweeney states in his claim that he “worked tirelessly as Lil Wayne’s manager and close confidante for nearly 14 years, managing his managers, all of his entities, his “friends, his enemies, and his lawyers.”

Sweeney also says that the rapper, whose real name is Dwayne Carter, “failed and refused to pay Plaintiffs his promised 10% of the recovery from lawsuits, 10% of the sale of master recordings owned by Lil Wayne’s record label, and then 17% in general commissions that he owes to Plaintiffs in connection with Plaintiff’s day to day management activities.”

Sweeney doesn’t know who he is messing with. Did you see Lil’ Wayne’s most recent Instagram? It simply said, “Mode” and featured his mini-me ready for war.

The “Bling Bling” originator says that Sweeney has been paid any fees owed him as his attorney, citing $20 million that has already been given to the legal beagle. He further asserts that Sweeney was never his manager. He was barely a good lawyer.

Wayne’s new lawyer stated in a counter filing, “Sweeney negligently handled legal matters entrusted to him, charged him an unconscionable fee (one that was double the contingency legal fee customarily charged by lawyers in the entertainment industry), and was paid legal fees without Carter’s consent.”

He even notes that during the time that Sweeney was serving as his legal representation, his law license was suspended. The filing that is requesting for the court to toss out the case, says that the license suspension happened “more than once during the course of their attorney-client relationship.”

Wayne allegedly has receipts. This story is developing.

Kardboard Keys’ SB3 Waun Breaks Out With Melodic Hip-Hop Fusion “Life of the Party”

Rapper and Hip-hop artist, SB3 Waun releases his latest single, ‘Life of the Party‘. Describing himself as an introvert, the song itself explains that he doesn’t want to be the center of attention, but will live in the moment. Recorded entirely by himself, and produced by members of the Kardboard Keys, SB3 Waun has had to learn to get into his zone and let the magic happen. Reminiscent of the late Juice WRLD, who happens to be his biggest inspiration, ‘Life of the Party‘ fuses modern hip-hop and RnB with pop, making this track uniquely SB3 Waun‘s.

Experiencing my first single drop will be a good feeling and probably one of the most memorable moments in my life. Having made music for as long as he can remember, SB3 Waun has always had a strong passion for music. A palette of Melodic, hip hop, pop, and trill music, SB3 has molded his own fusion of popular genres, crafting a track that will kickstart his career and give him his own distinctive sound. Starting off as a SoundCloud rapper, and developing into the artist he is today, SB3 has waited to release his newest release officially, finally deciding to release a track on all major platforms.

Recording Artist And Songwriter Artist Domani Releases Video For “Burnout”

As a follow up to his well-received single “Henny and Crystals,” recording artist and songwriter DOMANI will premiere the
video for “Burnout,” the second single off his upcoming SKYDIVE album.

Released on Forever Records through UnitedMasters, “Burnout” is already featured on Spotify’s “Most Necessary” playlist, Burnout is that upbeat summer song we’ve been waiting for.

The track features Shad da god and is produced by MIKEWILLMADEIT.

In Domani’s words, “This song was meant to capture some aspects of how the ‘fast’ life would/does feel- driving fast cars, being young and reckless, and just feeling your self-confidence. Burnout.”

The video is Domani’s visualization of the fast life.

A Homage to the “Fast and the Furious” films, which Domani is a fan of, the visuals are stunning with Domani and Shad da god rapping to the verse while cars are performing burnouts around them.

The ending of the video is a subtle glimpse of how things can be going great and then suddenly change.

Atlanta native, Domani, is navigating the path of standing on his own as an artist and finding his rightful place in the legacy of Southern lyricism.

No stranger to the spotlight, Domani has chosen to step out of it to focus on his music and the results are impressive.

Music became the means by which the Atlanta native, Domani processed life lessons, finding a voice that spoke for others as well as himself.
