Kesha Changes “Tik Tok” Lyrics To Crucify Diddy At Coachella

Diddy’s ongoing legal troubles continue to make headlines and spark heated responses. Pop star Kesha dissed the Hip-Hop mogul during her surprise performance at the 2024 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on Sunday (April 14).

Reneé Rapp brought out Kesha during her Coachella set to perform the 2009 hit “Tik Tok” at the California event. The track’s original lyrics were changed to blast the Bad Boy Entertainment founder.

“Wake up in the morning feelin’ like P. Diddy,” Kesha originally sang on the Dr. Luke and Benny Blanco-produced track. However, the Animal album creator’s on-stage version began with, “Wake up in the morning like f### P. Diddy.”

This was not the first time Kesha altered her “Tik Tok” lyrics at a show. While performing in Los Angeles in 2023, she sang, “Wake up in the morning feeling just like me.”

Multiple individuals have accused Sean “Diddy” Combs of various forms of sexual misconduct, including rape. For example, his former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, settled an Adult Survivors Act lawsuit against Combs in November 2023.

Additionally, Department of Homeland Security officials raided Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami reportedly in connection to a federal sex trafficking investigation.

Kesha Sebert sued Dr. Luke in 2014, accusing the producer of drugging and raping her. Luke (born Lukasz Gottwald) countersued for defamation. Both sides agreed to a settlement in June 2023.

NLE Choppa Explains Difference Between “Badussy” & “Bussy”

NLE Choppa generated a lot of online attention with his latest single. The polarizing chorus for “S### Me Out 2” had some listeners questioning Choppa’s sexuality while supporters of the track appreciated his confidence.

“If I was a bad b####, I’d wanna f### me too, I’d wanna suck me too, I’d wanna s### me too. If I was a bad b####, I’d wanna hump me too,” NLE Choppa says on “S### Me Out 2.”

In addition to the hook stirring up opposing views, another line in the song also raised some eyebrows. Choppa felt the need to go on the X social media platform to explain his “smell like badussy” bar.

“Badussy And Bussy [boy p####] Two Different Things,” Choppa posted. He also wrote, “Badussy is a Memphis term meaning something smelling like booty, d###, and p#### referring to the smell of intercourse between a man and woman.”

Bernie Mack popularized the portmanteau term “badussy” in 1997. The late stand-up comedian used the word in a scene from Def Jam’s How to Be a Player movie which also starred Bill Bellamy and Natalie Desselle.

NLE Choppa has constantly faced accusations of being homosexual or bisexual. In response, the 21-year-old rapper repeatedly insisted he is only sexually attracted to women.

“S### Me Out 2” arrived on Friday (April 12) as the sequel to 2022’s “S### Me Out” off the Cottonwood 2 album. Choppa recently started the “Thrust Challenge” to help promote the record.

Did Ice Spice Fire Back At Latto During Her Coachella Performance?

While most of the attention has been on Drake versus the industry in recent weeks, the looming explosion involving Ice Spice and Latto took a back seat. However, it appears Ice reheated the beef during her set at the 2024 Coachella Festival.

Ice Spice previewed a new song while performing at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California for the annual event. The Bronx-bred recording artist then shared the track’s lyrics on social media.

“[B######] be losing the plot & that’s how I got to the top & NO I don’t got any opps!!! Like why would I beef with a flop. Like let’s talk drill!! Who bigger than she?!! Who prettier too?!!! 250 to GET IN THE BOOTH,” Ice tweeted.

That last line seems to respond to Latto’s “Sunday Service” single which served as a clapback to Ice’s “Think U The S### (Fart).” On “Sunday Service,” Latto rapped, “Do you rap or do you tweet? ‘Cause I can’t tell, get in the booth, b####.”

The Atlanta representative also called Ice Spice out by name on “Sunday Service.” The two platinum-certified music stars have been rumored to have tension over claims that Latto stole Spice’s style.

In addition, Ice Spice closely aligned herself with Nicki Minaj in 2023. Minaj feuded with Latto the year before. Latto also collaborated with Minaj’s longtime adversary, Cardi B, for 2023’s diss-filled “Put It on da Floor Again.”

Rick Ross’ Exes Side With Drake In Ongoing Diss Track Saga

Rick Ross’ exes have picked a side in the ongoing diss track saga and it appears the ladies are team Drake.

On Sunday (April 14), Mackey, who split with Rick Ross earlier this year after a brief relationship, took to Instagram to show her support for Drake. The fitness influencer shared a workout on Instagram as Drake’s 2028 song “Energy” blared from the speakers.

Meanwhile, Tia Kemp, the mother of Rick Ross’ son William, hopped on Instagram Live with a proposition for Drake.

“Drake, call me boo,’” she urged. “I got something to tell you. Drake told [Ross] to drop and give him 50, but he can’t. I’m just playing; I don’t know what that big m########### can do. Tell him stop lying, he wouldn’t tell you the truth if you played truth or dare with him.”

In a follow-up video, she accused Ross of paying Lamar Odom’s ex-girlfriend for oral sex. While, last week, she claimed her baby daddy is featured on Diddy’s alleged notorious “freak tapes.”

https://youtu.be/6Q07lcKQT9w?si=n49JggEuPeMcOOk1

The back and forth is the latest fallout from Future and Metro Boomin’s We Don’t Trust You album.

After trading subliminal shots for a few days, Drizzy and Rozay went in on their respective diss tracks. Drake got at Ross (among others) on “Drop and Give Me 50,” while the MMG honcho fired back on “Champagne Moments.”

Before taking it to wax, Ross unfollowed Drake on social media prompting the OVO boss to retaliate, sending Rozay’s recent ex Cristina Mackey a VIP invite to one of his concerts.

In addition, Drake and Rick Ross exhanged a few more jabs on Instagram Sunday (April 14).

Doja Cat Flaunts Flexibility During Raunchy Coachella Set

Doja Cat put on an electrifying show at Coachella rounding out her headline set with a raunchy performance of “Wet V#####.”

The rapper and singer put on a spectacle, with multiple costume changes and a set that included a giant mechanical dinosaur skeleton, a mud pit and backup dancers dressed like Yetis.

Doja put her Hip-Hop chops on display, shunning some of her biggest pop hits for the rap cuts on her latest album Scarlet 2: Claude

While she opened her set with “Acknowledge Me” covered from head to toe in a hooded white Hazmat-style suit, by the time Doja Cat reached the finale, she had stripped down to a skimpy bikini.

However, her bathing suit didn’t stay white for long. Doja Cat writhed around in a mud pit while showing off her flexibility with a range of eye-watering poses as she performed “Wet V#####. She was soon joined by her backing dancers who covered her in even more mud.

Another crowd-pleaser was “Demon” which Doja Cat began by crawling across the floor like a possessed spirit.

Elsewhere during her Coachella performance, Doja Cat brought out some of her Scarlet 2: Claude collaborators. A$AP Rocky joined for “URRRGE!!!!!!!!!!” while Teezo Touchdown was on hand to perform “MASC.” Meanwhile, 21 Savage also came out with Doja Cat who featured on his song, “n.h.i.e.”

Lauryn Hill Surprises Fans At Son YG Marley’s Coachella Set With Mini Fugees Reunion

YG Marley surprised fans during his Coachella set by bringing out his mother Lauryn Hill and a couple of other heavy hitters.

On Sunday afternoon (April 14) concertgoers at the Coachella Main Stage were treated to a special appearance from the iconic singer and rapper who performed a medley of her hits, including classics like “Ex-Factor” and “Lost Ones.”

She also put on a mini Fugees reunion with Wyclef Jean for “Fu-Gee-La” and “Killing Me Softly,” minus fellow group member Pras.

Although Pras was missing, Hill’s son stepped in for his verse on “Ready Or Not.” Wyclef told the crowd, “When you put YG Marley and The Fugees together, this is what it sounds like.”

YG Marley had more to come, introducing Busta Rhymes and his longtime right-hand man Spliff Star. Busta rocked the crowd with some of his most popular tracks opening with “Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See.”

The group paid tribute to YG’s legendary grandfather, Bob Marley performing some of his hits including “One Love.”

Later in the show, YG Marley delivered his first single, “Praise Jah in the Moonlight,” which was co-written by Lauryn Hill and samples Bob Marley & the Wailers’ 1978 song “Crisis.”

He first debuted the song during his mother’s 2023 tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of her 1998 debut solo album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. The song proved popular and YG Marley released it on DSPs in December.

DaBaby Denies Scamming YouTuber Out Of $20K For Dating Game Appearance

DaBaby has denied scamming a YouTuber who paid him $20,000 to appear on his 20 vs 1 dating game and has a solution for the disgruntled young man.

Popular content creator Lah Mike, known for his controversial 20 vs 1 series, accused DaBaby of running off with his cash and putting his livelihood in jeopardy. On Sunday (April 14), He posted a video of the rapper walking off set despite the $20,000 fee. “I SPENT MY LAST ON THAT & THIS HAPPENS,” he captioned his post in part.

DaBaby responded in a series of posts via Instagram. While he didn’t say what caused the dispute, he insisted Lah Mike’s entourage was at fault.

“You coulda went viral the right way posting the video of me pressing yo patna w them big ass silver shorts on. That’s the type of s### people wanna see kid,” he wrote.

“Quit lying on ya granny and let these folks know yo entourage f##### yo bag up,” he continued. “Need yo ass whooped playing on yo grandma name boy. Where ya morals at kid.”

However, DaBaby proposed a solution to their issues which he detailed in a follow-up video.

“I was on some other s### the other night too that’s why I just left peacefully,” he explained before making an offer.

“I’m a give that $20,000 that you gave me, I’m a give it to them girls, them queens,” he added. “Because they don’t need to be having no lame ass n#### like you play with them no way.”

Meanwhile, an associate of Lah Mike claims DaBaby shared some behind-the-scenes footage for the 20 vs 1 taping. He claims DaBaby walked off because he “felt played” after he called him a “professional fart sucker,” for something he said during filming.

Rick Ross Mocks Birdman For Backing Drake In Ongoing Rap Heavyweights Saga

Rick Ross is clowning Birdman after the Cash Money Records co-founder voiced his support for Drake amid the recent diss tracks flying back and forth.

On Sunday (April 14) Birdman took to his Instagram Story with a throwback photo of the pair announcing a surprise party. “I’m riding with you [for life],” he wrote, adding, “I got your back.”

While his show of support was unsurprising, Rick Ross, who has has tension with the music exec for years, took the opportunity to mock Birdman. Rozay has been trolling Drizzy with allegations of a nose job and a BBL since dropping his Drake diss, “Champagne Moments.”

Ross responded via Instagram, telling him “Do it 4 MsGladys,” referring to Birdman’s mother who was fatally shot when he was two years old. Ross also asked Drake to “invite me to the p#### party.”

Instagram/Rick Ross

In another slide, Ross shared a video of him cruising on a yacht while listening to Birdman and Lil Wayne’s “Stuntin Like My Daddy.”

“That’s where Birdman house was at, right over there.,” Ross said in another video, pointing in the distance. “The little Island over there.”

Birdman sold his “Stunna Island” mansion in Miami’s gated Palm Island neighborhood back in 2020 after some reported issues involving a loan on the property. He initially listed it for sale at $20 million but was forced to discount the price several times before eventually selling it for $10 million.

Meanwhile, Uma Thurman offered to lend Drake her iconic “Kill Bill” jumpsuit after he shared a photo from the movie featuring her character surrounded by attackers, alluding to his rivals firing at him on wax. Drake reposted the pic, as did Rick Ross, who joked “Think it fit me,” urging Thurman to “Let me know Asap.”

Has Kendrick Lamar Used Ghostwriters Or Is Somebody Playing Games?

Today, somebody chose violence.

The vegan beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake turned into a huge roast with the leak of a diss track from Drake. I was trying to enjoy my life and realized that I simply would not be party to their shenanigans this time. However, I am back, because of the person that has leaked some new audio.

Kendrick Lamar stands accused of using a ghostwriter for his song “N95” from his 2022 album, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. Claims on Twitter, notably by @certifiedjared, have suggested that a a relatively obscure person named CJ Francis IV wrote parts of the track. Evidence purportedly from 2019…but things started to fall to pieces. A deep dive into the creation process of “N95” tells a different story.

Back in 2019, the beginnings of what would eventually become “N95” was a feature on the track “vent” with Baby Keem, Dot’s cousin. Kendrick Lamar ultimately decided not to use it. Instead, Kendrick channeled his energy into two different songs – “Outta Pocket” and “Take Off.” This was the real beginning “N95” and metadata from the session confirms CJ Francis IV had nothing to do with it.

In 2020, Kendrick merges parts of “Outta Pocket” and “Take Off” into a new track called “Pocket Off.” This version was mixed and mastered on May 5, 2020. Kendrick re-recorded some parts just before the official music video shoot. No sign of CJ. The final version of “N95” came out between late 2021 and early 2022, with Kendrick putting the final touches on the track in March 2022. Again, no trace of CJ.

Apparently, CJ has been known to create “demos” or songs of others in the studio. Apparently, that is what hit social media. Nothing about it fits in the timeline of the instrumental’s creation and Kendrick’s development of the track. This isn’t the first time CJ Francis IV has been embroiled in such claims, but he has backed off completely.

Stop believing these people. Just read the rumors!

Enjoy the music.

Benzino Challenges Eminem To Battle In Hopes Of Mending Race Relations

Benzino is once again offering to battle Eminem thanks to the charged atmosphere in rap. Ongoing feuds between Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Future, Metro Boomin’, Rick Ross and others have Benzino fired up. However, Benzino believes his battle with Eminem could have much broader implications. In fact, he says their feud could help mend race relations in the United States.

“I want to battle face to face and then it could be over after that,” Benzino told TMZ. “After that we could hug it out like how great that would be for the optics of that for people out here white and Black.”

Benzino challenged Eminem to a “face-to-face battle, three rounds,” confidently stating, “I believe I could take him.” The proposition comes after years of bitter exchanges that have, at times, transcended music to touch on sensitive themes of race and inclusion in Hip-Hop.

Over the span of more than two decades, the feud between Benzino, a former co-owner of The Source magazine, and Eminem was deeply rooted in disagreements over cultural authenticity and respect. The origins of the feud trace back to the early 2000s, following the decision by Benzino to withhold a prestigious 5-mic rating from Eminem’s critically acclaimed album The Eminem Show.

The denial was rooted in Benzino’s belief that Eminem, whom he considered “disrespectful,” didn’t authentically represent Hip-Hop culture, sparking a series of diss tracks and public insults that would define the rivalry for years to come.

The conflict reached a turning point when financial troubles led to Benzino and his partner, Dave Mays, losing control over The Source. The magazine’s ownership was eventually transferred to Black Enterprise/Greenwich Street Corporate Growth Partners following a legal ruling prompted by defaulted debt obligations.

Still, Benzino acknowledges Eminem’s prowess stating, “Eminem is an amazing artist. Look, I can’t take nothing away from what he’s done in Hip-Hop.” Yet, he continued to critique the industry’s partial treatment towards Eminem, linking it to wider issues of race.

“I think with Eminem they pushed a [narrative] onto us that they want to make sure and let the world know that he was white so that different parts of the country where white people just don’t deal with black people are gonna say okay we might not like Hip-Hop or black people but we’ll support Eminem,” Benzino said.

J. Cole Removes Kendrick Lamar Diss Track From DSPs As Rap Beef Explodes

J. Cole is living up to the title of his latest album, Might Delete Later, and formally removing his Kendrick Lamar diss track, “7 Minute Drill,” from streaming platforms. The Dreamville Records founder clearly regrets releasing the song in the middle of the escalating rap war among titans of the genre, including Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Future, Metro Boomin, The Weeknd and Rick Ross.

Brewing tensions between Drake, J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar exploded with the release of “Like That” take from Future and Metro Boomin’s album We Don’t Trust You, where Lamar ripped into Drake and J. Cole.

J. Cole replied first then publicly disavowed “7 Minute Drill” during his performance at the Dreamville Festival, where he candidly confessed the track was “the lamest, goofiest s###.” Cole further explained his intentions weren’t rooted in genuine animosity toward Lamar. Instead, he felt pressured by external expectations, admitting, “the world wanted to see blood.”

J. Cole’s straightforward apology to Lamar, insisting he would accept any retaliatory action “on the chin,” suggests a desire to mend fences and foster a spirit of camaraderie rather than conflict. The decision to pull “7 Minute Drill” from streaming may have shown J. Cole’s effort to prioritize peace over discord, however, the gesture of goodwill emerged amidst one of the most pronounced feuds in rap history.

Just as J. Cole is removing his diss record, Drake launched his reply to Kendrick Lamar with “Drop and Give Me 50,” targeting not only Lamar but also a host of other prominent figures in the Hip-Hop scene, sparking an array of responses. Rick Ross, notably aligned with Lamar, Metro Boomin and Future, swiftly countered with “Champagne Moments.”

As of now, “7 Minute Drill” is no longer available on Spotify as evidenced by the link. See above.

The Real Deal Behind Allen Iverson’s Tiny Statue And How The Sixers Have Bigger Issues

Yo, what’s up! We have all be dialed into the whole Allen Iverson statue situation and the 76ers’ honorary “action figure.” First off, the reaction to A.I.’s statue being on the smaller side is classic internet—quick to judge without all the context. As has been pointed out, it’s consistent with the other statuette’s at “Legends Walk” at the Sixers’ practice facility. This is where the legends are honored in a subtler, but still impactful way. But, this running joke on the internet is a big deal in the city of Brotherly Love.

Now, onto the bigger story — the Sixers are probably moving into the heart of Philly with a new arena they will actually own. That’s massive, both literally and figuratively. Owning their space would give the Sixers much more control, not just over the building itself but over the entire surrounding area. This could lead to bigger and better things, like those larger-than-life statues you all want for A.I.

But, like you said, this move is not without its issues. The impact on the local community can’t be underestimated. Displacing people and institutions like Temple University is a huge deal. The construction and increased traffic could really shake up the daily lives of many. Plus, the controversy of inserting such a large sports complex in the middle of a densely populated city area is something to think about. It’s a delicate balance between growth and disrespect. Hopefully they are hiring the “hood.”

This is a scenario that could change the face of downtown Philly and redefine the Sixers’ presence in their home city. Definitely a situation to keep an eye on. What do you think the community’s response will be if the move actually happens? By the way, Allen Iverson was honored on Sunday again. Very dope.

Never forget!

Jeezy Seeking Full Custody Amid Claims Jeannie Mai Failed Motherly Duties

Jeezy has intensified the ongoing custody battle for his daughter by filing for sole custody, branding his estranged wife, Jeannie Mai, an “absentee mother.” The legal move comes amid a high profile divorce between the two, as documents reveal Jeezy’s dissatisfaction with Mai’s parenting, attributing it to her hectic schedule as a television host.

The documents filed by Jeezy, claims his daughter, Monaco, has been primarily cared for by Mai’s mother and brother, not Mai herself. His concern is rooted in the claim that Mai’s commitments to “The Talk” have left her incapable of fulfilling her duties as a mother, resulting in inadequate attention toward their daughter.

Jeezy’s legal strategy now seeks to place Monaco under his exclusive guardianship, suggesting he’s better equipped to provide the day-to-day care Monaco requires. The custody dispute unfolds against the backdrop of a bitter divorce between Jeezy and Mai, which was first announced in September 2023. Allegations have flown from both sides, with charges of infidelity miring the proceedings. The tensions have only escalated with disagreements over the care and custody of their daughter.

Jeezy has lamented the loss of his parental rights, claiming that Mai has obstructed his parenting time over the last couple of months. Despite the contentious legal battles and personal accusations, both Jeezy and Mai have vowed to remain publicly respectful toward each other. Jeezy has expressed the decision to part ways was neither quick nor easy, maintaining that he holds a degree of love and respect for Mai.

Conversely, Mai has focused on navigating the challenges of their divorce “day by day,” with special attention to their daughter’s well-being while continuing career obligations.

Jaden Smith & Justin Bieber’s Coachella “Kiss” Goes Viral

Jaden Smith and Justin Bieber linked up at Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, California this weekend—and now, a clip of their interaction is going viral.

In a video making the rounds online, Smith runs up to Bieber from behind and wraps his arms around him. Bieber, in turn, kisses him on the cheek. Naturally, the gesture raised a few eyebrows and people quickly ran to Twitter (X) to weigh in on the public display of affection.

Many, of course, jumped to conclusions and assumed their “intimate” moment meant they were somehow romantically linked. But Bieber has been married to Hailey Baldwin for five years and has had a string of high profile relationships with several women, including Selena Gomez and Kendall Jenner. Still, people couldn’t stop themselves from making jokes or expressing their confusion.

As one person wrote, “I’m sorry but this is not normal. No one is allowed to touch me like that if they are not my man, even my girlfriends don’t approach me like that.” Another asked, “Why TF Do I See Justin Bieber & Jaden Smith Hugging & Kissing On My Timeline??”

Jaden Smith and Justin Bieber’s friendship goes back decades. In 2010, they teamed up for Biebs’ single “Never Say Never” for the film The Karate Kid and, more recently, on 2020’s “Falling For You.” In 2018, Smith announced he was “sexually fluid” during an appearance at Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw carnival. He added, “I just wanna say Tyler, The Creator is the best friend in the world. And I love him so f###### much, and I wanna tell you guys something, I wanna tell you, Tyler doesn’t wanna say, but Tyler is my mother f###### boyfriend. And he’s been my mother f###### boyfriend my whole f###### life.”

Tyler was seen backstage laughing it off and ultimately flipping Smith the middle finger. But Smith has other things to think about. He’ll be hitting the road with Kid Cudi on June 28 as part of The Insano World Tour alongside Pusha T and EarthGang.

(EXCLUSIVE) Diddy Fallout Continues: UMG Denies Culpability For Mogul’s Alleged Rape Of Teen

Universal Music Group (UMG) is actively seeking to extricate itself from a lawsuit filed by Liza Gardner, who asserts she was raped by Sean “Diddy” Combs and singer Aaron Hall in 1990.

The suit, which implicates UMG, MCA and Geffen Records, is currently under scrutiny as UMG challenges its validity. At the heart of the dispute is Gardner’s claim of being sexually assaulted in New York City at the age of 16 by Combs and Hall.

Gardner says she was good friends with members of the group Jodeci, who eventually introduced her to Combs and Hall at an industry event. She claims the pair applied her with liquor during the evening. After the event, they went back to Hall’s apartment, where she was allegedly raped.

“After Combs finished doing his business, Jane Doe laid in bed, shocked and traumatized. As she was in the process of getting dressed, Hall barged into the room, pinned her down and forced Jane Doe to have sex with him,” according to the original complaint.

Gardner alleges that her traumatic experience stems from the encounter with the two figures, both of whom were affiliated with the MCA Records label at the time. The lawsuit accuses UMG Recordings, Inc. of bearing responsibility for the actions of its signed talents, Combs and Hall.

In an attempt to dismiss the charges, UMG’s defense focuses on several points, principally the argument that the allegations are time-barred and the Adult Survivors Act (ASA) doesn’t apply due to Gardner’s age at the time of the offense.

The ASA’s provisions for reviving otherwise expired claims are conditional on the survivor being 18 or older at the time of the alleged assault, a criterion Gardner doesn’t meet.

Additionally, UMG disputes Gardner’s ability to establish a claim for vicarious liability, which is essential for her assault and battery claims against the corporation.

The defense further contends that Gardner’s complaint lacks the necessary allegations of duty and extreme conduct required for her claim of negligent infliction of emotional distress to proceed.

Further undermining Gardner’s legal action, UMG points to the inapplicability of the New York City Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Law (GMVL) to her case, citing the law’s nonexistence in 1990. Even if it were applicable, UMG argues Gardner fails to substantiate her GMVL claim against the corporation. Lastly, UMG raises procedural issues, asserting improper service of the complaint due to lack of evidence supporting the process server’s affidavit of service and consequently suggesting the court should dismiss the lawsuit.

Todrick Hall Gets Death Threats For Partying After GoFundMe Campaign

Todrick Hall has responded to the backlash he’s received for throwing a lavish birthday party after asking fans to donate to his family’s fundraiser.

The singer and dancer set up a GoFundMe page last week to raise $10,000 for his family after their house burned down and explained that he wasn’t able to “step up to the plate to help” himself as he is still recovering from the pandemic and last year’s strikes.

Todrick came under fire days later when he celebrated his 39th birthday and posted pictures of the lavish party on Instagram.

The performer addressed the backlash on Monday, insisting he didn’t pay for the birthday bash.

“I just want to be crystal clear, I would NEVER spend money that my fans raised during a traumatic time for my family on a birthday party,” he wrote on Instagram. “I wouldn’t under these circumstances spend my own money on a party either. Everything at my party was either gifted or sponsored and it was organized by someone very close to me who knows I’ve been going through a rough time and wanted to celebrate me on my birthday and going away party.”

A post shared by TODRICK (@todrick)

Todrick shared screengrabs of text exchanges to prove he didn’t pay for the party as well as screenshots of racist and homophobic messages he had received amid the backlash.

“I know that I’m not for everyone, but the level of hate, death threats, racism, etc that I receive on a daily basis is just not acceptable and it’s dangerous,” he continued. “People swear I don’t pay for anything, until it fits their narrative to say I’d spend $20k on a birthday (which I have never done).”

Todrick concluded his statement by thanking his fans for donating to the GoFundMe, which has now reached its $10,000 goal.

Drake Denies Nose Job In Text To His Mother While Clowning “Nosey Goof” Rick Ross

Drake and Rick Ross are currently embroiled in a feud sparked by the release of Future & Metro Boomin’s We Don’t Trust You single “Like That” featuring Kendrick Lamar. After the OVO Sound boss fired back with “Drop and Give Me 50” on Saturday (April 13), Ross wasted no time and returned with his own Drake diss, “Champagne Moments.” At one point in his verse, the Maybach Music Group founder accused Drake of getting a nose job to avoid looking like his Black father, Dennis Graham.

But on Sunday (April 14), Drake shared a text exchange between himself and his mother in which he denies going under the knife. The exchange begins with his mother writing, “Aubs-the internet is saying you got a nose job?? You looked the same to me in the kitchen today. I can’t believe you would get one without me cuz you know I always wanted one. Don’t tell me you got tattoos without me and now this, too?”

Drake replied, “I would have got us a 2 for 1 deal if I went ma. It’s coming from Rick Ross the guy I did songs with he’s gone loopy off the Mounjaro he hasn’t eaten in days and it’s turned him angry and racist he’s performing at proms for money it’s bad don’t worry we’ll handle it.”

In addition to Rick Ross, “Drop and Give Me 50” included digs at Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd and Future, among others. But many initially thought it was generated by A.I., sparking a debate online. The song attacks Lamar’s smaller stature, including his shoe size, mentions his fiancée by name and suggests his pop collaborations have made him soft.

“How the f### you big steppin’ with a size seven men’s on?” he raps in part. “This the bark with the bite, n####, what’s up? I know my picture on the wall when y’all cook up/Extortion baby, whole career you been shook up/’Cause Top told you drop and give me fifty like some push-ups, huh.”

He then turns his attention to Rick Ross with: I might take your latest girl and cuff her like I’m Ricky’/Can’t believe he jumpin’ in, this n#### turnin’ fifty/Every song that made it on the chart, he got from Drizzy/Spend that lil’ check you got and stay up out my business/Worry ’bout whatever goin’ on with you and (Uh).”

J. Cole, who was also caught up in Kendrick Lamar’s barbs, dropped a surprise project last week called Might Delete Later. The twelfth and final track, “7 Minute Drill,” found the Dreamville founder taking aim at Lamar’s catalog.

“I came up in the Ville, so I’m good when it’s tension,” he rapped. “He still doin’ shows, but fell off like The Simpsons/Your first s### was classic, your last s### was tragic/Your second s### put n##### to sleep, but they gassed it/Your third s### was massive and that was your prime/I was trailin’ right behind and I just now hit mine/Now I’m front of the line with a comfortable lead.”

Just days later, J. Cole ended up apologizing for the lyrics, telling the Dreamville Festival crowd it was “the lamest, goofiest s###.”

Amber Rose Says It’s Unfair To Think She Would Date Chris Rock

Chris Rock might be a comedic genius, but even he can’t escape the infamous friend zone.

Amber Rose firmly placed him in the category of “just friends” amid swirling dating rumors.

The model and actress cleared the air about her relationship with Chris Rock, emphasizing that their bond is strictly platonic and has been for over a decade.

In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight, Amber Rose addressed the speculation head-on.

“It was not (a date),” Amber stated with conviction, referring to the outing that set tongues wagging. “I’ve been friends with Chris Rock for, like, 13 years,” she elaborated, offering a timeline that predates much of the gossip.

The meet-up between the pair, which occurred in New York City and was widely publicized, was nothing more than two old friends catching up over coffee.

“We met for coffee. We talked some crap to each other. He made me laugh because he’s hilarious, and that’s our friendship. Just friendship,” she explained.

Despite the innocence of their encounter, the paparazzi and public speculation quickly wove a narrative of romance—a perspective that Rose was quick to refute.

“We were not holding hands, and we were obviously very separate. It just becomes unfair sometimes,” she lamented, pointing out the unfair assumptions made by onlookers and the media.

Responding to why she chose not to broadcast their meeting on social media, Amber shared, “Well that’s the whole interesting part about it, probably why I never posted like ‘Hey, me and Chris Rock are getting coffee,’ ’cause I just didn’t want that narrative. I just was like I’m going to value my friendship and just leave it at that.”

Amber Rose also reflected on her personal life, confirming that she is “definitely very happy raising my children and having my own schedule.”

With two children, Sebastian with Wiz Khalifa, and Slash with ex Alexander AE Edwards, Rose’s priorities are firmly set on her family and friendships rather than navigating the dating scene.

Killer Mike Explains Why He Kept Marriage Secret For Nine Years

Killer Mike has revealed he kept his marriage to wife Shana secret from everyone for nine years.

During Wednesday’s episode on the “Off Menu” podcast with hosts Ed Gamble and James Acaster, the Grammy-winning rapper recalled marrying his wife Shana in Las Vegas in 2006.

“Within the first two weeks (of dating) I asked her to marry me and she was like, ‘Get the f### out of here. You’re a rapper.’ So, after about four or five years, we got really high in Vegas, and really drunk, and I pled my love to her, and we got married in a f###### drive-through marriage thing with our cab driver as our witness, and then we didn’t tell anybody we were married for nine years,” Mike told Ed and James.

“We’ve been married seventeen years now. So, for nine years no one knew, and then we finally had to tell her family – because her family is from Hilton Head Island (in South Carolina) and they’re very traditional… a tight-knit Black family, similar to mine,” Killer Mike said.

Mike explained that during those nine years, Shana’s family members would often ask him when they were going to get married.

The couple finally decided to tell their family about their marriage after asking for help to build a property.

“We were talking about building on some land here, we’d like to put a house here, and they were like, ‘Nah, you’re just f###### on our niece. What are you gonna do to take it seriously?'” the Run the Jewels star remembered. “I was like, ‘Well, we’re already married.'”

In the end, the family was “fine” with Shana’s secret marriage to the rapper.
“No one really likes going to weddings,” Mike joked on the podcast. “The food is usually s#####.”
Mike and Shana have four children.
