Wendy Williams looked healthy and upbeat in a new video as her son Kevin Hunter Jr. revealed the TV maven is “sober” and eager to get home.
On Monday (December 23), behind the scenes footage surfaced online of Williams at her son’s graduation. The video features a smiling and happy Williams dancing to The Notorious B.I.G. while getting ready for her son’s big day. She took to her feet as Kevin Jr. crossed the stage, watching from the stand with her sister and father.
The group celebrated with a graduation dinner at a Jamaican hotspot, with Kevin Jr. preparing to head off to law school.
According to the video narrator, Wendy Williams “rapped songs word for word” and “had full blown conversations,” despite recent claims that the iconic talk show host is “permanently incapacitated.”
Kevin Jr. responded to the video with a rare update on his mother’s health.
“Let’s get her home [fingers crossed emoji]” he wrote. “While I’m here quick update on my mom. She’s sober and wants to come home. We’re fighting to make that happen because Isolation is killing her faster than anything else.”
Wendy Williams’ niece also shared memories from Kevin Jr.’s recent graduation. Alex Finnie posted a video of her aunt grinning from ear to ear at a dinner.
“It’s the most wonderful time of the year #FamilyOverEverything #MyHeart,” Fine captioned the post.
Meanwhile, Williams’ court-appointed guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, is embroiled in a legal war over the controversial documentary Where Is Wendy Williams? The 60-year-old was diagnosed with aphasia and frontotemporal dementia in May 2023.
Morrisset is taking legal action against Lifetime, A&E and other production companies. In her complaint, Morrissey claims Williams did not even “have the capacity to consent to being filmed.” According to Morrissey, Williams was “cognitively impaired and permanently incapacitated.”
As Sean “Diddy” Combs prepares to spend his first Christmas behind the bars of Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, he’s being accused of more questionable activity in the latest lawsuit.
According to TMZ, Phillip Pines—who’s suing the Bad Boy Records founder of sexual battery, sexual harassment and sex trafficking, among other charges—claims between 2019 and 2021 he was tasked with stocking Diddy’s hotel rooms with drugs, alcohol and sex toys for the rapper’s “Wild King Nights.”
Pines alleges Diddy would hold orgies and go on drug binges and force Pines to clean it all up, which sometimes included stains from bodily fluids, blood and urine. Pines claims he routinely delivered red lights, ice buckets, alcohol, marijuana, honey packs for male libido, baby oil, astro glide, towels, illegal drugs and power banger sex machines to the suites.
Diddy’s team fired back at Pines’ allegations, saying, “No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor. We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason. Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth, and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail in court.”
Diddy was arrested in September on three felony charges: sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. Since then, the floodgates have opened and dozens of lawsuits have been filed against the 55-year-old.
But there’s more. Last week, Diddy’s legal team asked the court to impose restrictions barring inmate Derrick Lee Cardello-Smith from filing additional lawsuits without judicial approval and to have cover his mounting legal expenses.
Cardello-Smith, who’s serving a decades-long sentence for rape, claims Diddy assaulted him in Michigan over 30 years ago and is asking for over $400 million in damages. The case gained significant attention when a judge issued a $100 million default judgment and prohibited Diddy from selling his Los Angeles mansion after failing to appear for a hearing.
The judgment, however, was vacated after Diddy’s legal team successfully argued Cardello-Smith had altered key court documents to obtain the order.
As for the most recent charges, Diddy pleaded not guilty to all charges and is expected to head to trial in May 2025.
Young Thug’s girlfriend, Mariah the Scientist, kept him up to date on current events during his time behind bars, including Sean “Diddy” Combs’ mounting legal issues.
The YSL rapper was the victim of multiple leaks on Monday (December 23). Footage surfaced online of Young Thug’s jail visits, including one with Mariah the Scientist describing the notorious video of Diddy savagely beating Cassie Ventura in a hotel hallway.
Thug was stunned to hear what happened as Mariah explained, “He beat her up, for sure.” She went on to detail Diddy chasing Ventura, wearing only a towel wrapped around his waist.
She began laughing while mimicking Diddy running but clarified she didn’t find the situation amusing.
“That n#### tripping,” Young Thug said of Diddy when Mariah confirmed it was “definitely” the Bad Boy Records boss on the tape.
Mariah the Scientist continued, filing in Young Thug on other lawsuits and allegations, including how Diddy would treat the late Kim Porter.
“He on some other s###,” Mariah says after Thug was baffled by a rumor that Diddy tried to force Porter to eat Ventura’s used tampon.

However, the video caused a stir amid Sayed’s reportedly marriage to boxer Devin Haney in 2023.
Despite the rumors, Young Thug spoke out, insisting Mariah The Scientist is the only woman for him. Sayed also set the record straight, saying the visit was before she met Haney.
Young Thug has shared his first tweets in over a month in response to a newly emerging scandal involving himself and the wife of a prized fighter.
In a series of cryptic tweets he posted on Monday (December 23), the Atlanta rap star appeared to respond to the resurfaced footage of a call with Instagram model Lenna Sayed during her jail visit at Cobb County Corrections in 2022.
In the 14-plus long video released by LawAndCrime, Sayed is seen crying on the phone and telling Thug “I only want you.” Sayed reportedly married boxer Devin Haney in 2023, causing a stir on social media once the video began circulating on multiple platforms.
Within hours of the video making headlines, Thug responded in covert fashion, seemingly denouncing the alleged relationship while also acknowledging it at the same time.
“Them n#ggas don showed they hands, them n#ggas ain’t in… #saytwin,” Young Thug wrote in the first tweet.
In another tweet he directly addressed their conversation, explaining that people had the context surrounding the exchange all wrong.
“Man me and twin was talking bout some whole other serious sh#t, I don’t know y she spoke on loving other people or anything else cause ain giving no f#ck bout no hoes or n#ggas I’m the capital P lol that’s my twin and nothing else,” he wrote before adding, “Never have never will lol.”
He signed off in the final tweet, “I can have that lil s### right now if I wanted it, but she been pushing the p harder then n##### lol that’s the twin…I got who I want.”
This new social media scandal follows Haney making headlines this month after he shared a cryptic tweet of his own, subsequently sparking fan and critics to speculate. The tweet was in reference to the lawsuit Haney filed against Ryan Garcia in September over reports of PED abuse following their bout earlier this year.
“I ain’t go to no damn court.. foh,” Haney wrote after rumors spread that he had filed the 12-page lawsuite against Garcia formally in Court earlier this month.
Chicago rapper Lil Reese has been sentenced to five years in prison for assaulting a family member.
According to legal docs obtained by AllHipHop, the ruling on the sentence occurred several months ago on October 16 in Harris County, Texas. Court records show his projected release date as February 6 in 2029.
However, Reese will become eligible for parole in August 2026. The conviction stems from an incident in March 2022, when Reese was accused of physically attacking his then-girlfriend. According to the victim, Reese punched her in the face and strangled her during a violent altercation, leaving her “gasping for air” and fearing for her life.
Witnesses reportedly intervened to break up the attack, and police later observed visible injuries on the woman. After an arrest warrant was issued, Reese was apprehended two months later and held on a $60,000 bond.
Recent legal troubles have compounded Reese’s criminal record, including a September arrest for allegedly attacking the same ex-girlfriend at a Houston strip club. Authorities claim Reese attempted to kiss the woman early one morning outside the club. When she rejected his advances he allegedly punched her and strangled her. The rapper was arrested on charges of aggravated assault, assault by impeding breath against a family member and violating a protective order.
Adding to his woes, Reese was accused of rape in Los Angeles just months prior to his September arrest. Although the rape case was dismissed in August, Reese took to social media to proclaim his innocence.
“So today was my first court date for the false a#s sh#t that b#tch said I did and guess what case dismiss,” Reese wrote on X (formerly Twitter). He also shared a picture of his court appearance form on Instagram, though the District Attorney’s office did not comment on why the charges were dropped.
Watch the report in the video above for more details on the Reese’s arrest.
N.O.R.E. is fed up with Dame Dash and his slights of his Drink Champs podcast and has allowed his frustrations to boil over in a new video in which he directly addresses the former music executive.
In a string of Instagram Story posts he shared on Sunday (December 23), the “Superthug” rapper teed off on Dash following his appearance in a recent interview, during which he threw shade on his podcast and other media professionals and platforms such as Charlamagne Tha God and The Breakfast Club.
In particular, N.O.R.E. was seemingly responding to Dash’s assertion that JAY-Z would need help from bigger platforms, rather than Drink Champs, to help diminish the fallout resulting from the Jane Doe rape lawsuit linked to Diddy that he is currently battling.
“But like, you know, Drink Champs can’t get him [JAY-Z] out of this one and neither can Charlamagne because, you know, those are the guys that hold him down no matter what he does anyway,” Dame Dash said in part. “So he got to get to People Magazine and Entertainment Tonight right now because they on his head.”
N.O.R.E. took clear offense to the remark and went on to clown Dash, who he said was more “clueless than Stacey” referencing the actress of the same last name’s infamous outburst, by suggesting he was washed in a Modelo beer-fueled rant from the beach.
“I have been receiving it you have been coming at me,” N.O.R.E. said in part. “You think I don’t got time. I’m not like these other people. I got time. So you know what I’m gonna do? Tomorrow, I’m gonna wind up in Paris. The next day after that I’m gonna wind up in Saint Barts, Saint Martin, Anguilla, the things you used to do.”
As he continued, N.O.R.E. appeared to attempt to coax Dash out of further instigating his one-sided beef with JAY-Z by persuading him to diffuse the situation before it became anymore inflammatory for either of them.
“We’re trying to show you love but you keep coming at everybody,” he said. “If you got beef with one person you supposed to keep that beef with one person. You got beef with everybody around him.
He concluded, “We don’t want to disrespect you and I’m trying not to as much as I can because I actually respect the sh#t out of you, but you became the lame chatty patty person that you said you were against. Get your life together my number is the same if you wanna work it out.”
Watch N.O.R.E.’s unapologetic address in the post below.
I really like Ice Spice. So, I care. I’m worried something is going on with her that might be above and beyond the preexisting rumors. Currently the rumors are she’s losing weight at a rapid pace, because she is on some sort of weight loss drug. We know Ozempic and other drugs are very popular in Hollywood. It actually started off as something for diabetic people. However, the moment people realized they could lose weight, they came back with the re-brand.
Ice Spice is one of those people that allegedly (there’s no real evidence) took the drug to stave off the haters saying she had too much “junk in the trunk.” Others have opined that she’s sickly. I am not going to make a judgment. I just want her to be well and in good general health. This means mental and physical health. Ice Spice has taken a lot of hits as she made a lot of hits. That takes a toll on you as a human being.
Also, I’ll remind you all we haven’t seen her around Taylor Swift anymore. I’m still trying to figure out what’s up with that. Until then, I’ll send Ice Spice some positive vibes and hope she comes back next year with a banger! Maybe a couple key collaborations can get her back back.
Erica Mena is apologizing to Nicki Minaj for trashing her, claiming their mutual ex, Safaree, manipulated her into thinking badly of the NYC rapper.
She opened up about her ex during a recent appearance on the “Dumb Blonde” podcast.
“I owe her the biggest apology,” Erica Mena said of Nicki Minaj before throwing Safaree under the bus. Mena implied she didn’t know any better and ignored the “red flags” when Safaree badmouthed Minaj in her presence.
“It’s funny how life comes full circle,” she added. “Because the same thing he did to her, he’s doing to me years later.”
Mena recalled Safaree “pouring his heart out” while showing her videos of Nicki Minaj “reacting” to an incident but never thought to ask what he did to her.
However, Mena claims she later discovered he was running around trying to “ruin” Minaj’s career and take credit for her work.
“I owe this woman an apology,” she admitted. “Because I sat here and allowed him to talk about her to me. From that came me saying things and defending and vouching for him and speaking up on her in a way that was tacky. Because at the end of the day, I didn’t know the truth.”
Mena concluded, “Everything she has ever said about him is true.”
Back in July, Erica Mena expressed shame over her relationship with Safaree, with whom she shares two children after he admitted his breakup with Nicki Minaj was the biggest struggle he had to overcome.
“I will FOREVER be embarrassed I gave sis these incredible beautiful babies,” she wrote on Instagram. “He don’t even talk or care about his seeds this much online or in real life.”
Meanwhile, back in 2022, Mena said that Minaj was “great at what she does.” However, she admitted she’s not a fan of her music, calling it “cartoony.” Mena also accused the rapper of “biting” Lil Kim.
While Nicki Minaj hasn’t responded to Erica Mena’s apology, she seemingly reacted to her bitter public spat with Safaree over custody issues.
“I don’t know who needed to hear this, but good for you,” she said on Instagram before bursting into laughter. “You see, sometimes you need to leave people dem alone.”
Oakland legend Richie Rich recently sat down with Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur at the iconic WonWorld Studios. In great spirits and ready to share, Richie opened up about his journey in life and rap, touching on everything from his 90s heyday to his long hiatus after seeing the less glamorous side of the music industry.
Known for his raw authenticity and ability to drop game through his music, Richie Rich didn’t hold back in this candid conversation. From his thoughts on the current state of streaming to his mission to reconnect with fans directly, this chat was a masterclass in independence and longevity. What follows is one part of an epic discussion that spanned decades of Hip-Hop history, personal triumphs, and hard-learned lessons.
Dive in as Richie Rich gives us a glimpse into his world—his past, his comeback, and his vision for the future. Watch the video where Richie Rich delves into stories around the Biggie vs E-40 beef, how Tupac impacted him and how his stint in jail changed his life.
AllHipHop: Man, much respect. AllHipHop isn’t about East Coast, West Coast, or the South—it’s all hip-hop.
Richie Rich: Exactly, it’s just music, man. I was tripping off that picture on your wall. I was lucky enough to be part of that last iconic Def Jam shoot with mostly East Coast cats. Being on Def Jam, I was always good. Me, Meth, DMX, and Redman—we all represented where we came from, but at the end of the day, a win for you is a win for me.
AllHipHop: Absolutely.
Richie Rich: That’s the mindset we need to adopt. If something good happens for someone else, it shows it’s possible for all of us.
AllHipHop: Facts. Let’s talk about your new album, Richard, a dope project. Before diving into the music, you went viral for your commentary on streaming. You’ve taken a unique approach by making it a pay album. Can you explain your perspective on streaming and how it ties to this comeback project?
Richie Rich: I come from an era when people paid $20 for a CD. If they lost it or scratched it, they’d go buy another one. Paying for music wasn’t an issue. Now, with streaming, you can pay $10 a month for unlimited music. But if you think about it, how can all those artists eat off just $10?
Russell [LaRussell] introduced me to this platform where fans can pay directly for the music, even naming their price. One fan paid $500 for a download. The platform also gives me their contact info, so I can reach out directly about shows or special offers. It cuts out the middleman, putting me back in touch with my fans.
AllHipHop: That’s amazing. It also fosters a stronger connection with your supporters.
Richie Rich: Exactly. I want people to understand: if you love an artist, support them. We spend money on everything else—Jordans, Tims, drinks at the bar—so why not on the music you love?
AllHipHop: Facts. And it’s not just about the artist; it’s about building our community.
Richie Rich: Absolutely. Like David Banner said, we need to focus on putting our people first—not in a way that harms anyone else, but to uplift and strengthen ourselves. Black people have incredible spending power, but we need to direct it toward things that benefit us.
AllHipHop: True. The Bay Area, where you’re from, has always been about independence. It’s like its own ecosystem.
Richie Rich: For sure. The Bay pioneered independent music. Too Short started selling tapes out of his trunk, and E-40 and others followed suit. We built our own system. But mainstream radio eventually shifted, and we started hearing music that didn’t reflect our culture.
Now, artists are going back to independence. The channels are opening up for us to go direct to our fans.
AllHipHop: So what made you jump back into the ring at this point in your career?
Richie Rich: I never stopped making music, but I lost my love for the business when I realized how little artists were getting paid. My first Def Jam deal had me earning 6 cents per album sale, even though CDs sold for $20. That killed my enthusiasm.
I kept making music for myself, though. Fans kept asking for new material, even after 20 years. Then LaRussell reached out and helped me figure out a new way to monetize my work. Nas also encouraged me, saying, “If you’ve got music, drop it.”
AllHipHop: That’s dope. Nas is a legend, and it’s great to see him inspiring others.
Richie Rich: Absolutely. Nas, EPMD, LL Cool J—they raised me musically. We didn’t see East Coast vs. West Coast; we just loved good music.
AllHipHop: Your style is timeless, though. Some artists have a sound tied to a specific era, but your music feels classic.
Richie Rich: Thanks. I write to the beat, so every track feels unique. And I stay true to myself. The truth doesn’t get old—it resonates across generations. I’ve been blessed to keep making music that connects with people.
AllHipHop: It’s clear you’ve found a way to keep it fresh.
Richie Rich: I have to. Whether it’s music, cars, or life in general, I believe in keeping everything fresh. That’s what keeps me going.
AllHipHop: It’s inspiring to see you back in love with the craft.
Richie Rich: Thanks. I’m doing this now because I love it—not for the money, but to push the envelope and keep good music alive.
50 Cent was speaking for most people when he shared his reaction to Lil Baby’s recent admission that he once lost $8 million to $9 million in less than two days in a casino.
The G-Unit founder, who previously cast Lil Baby in his BMF series, was stunned to hear about this loss. Over the weekend, he shared an Instagram clip of Baby reflecting on the loss, jokingly expressing relief that no one lost their life over it.
In addition to Lil Baby, 50 Cent poked fun at his frenemy, Floyd Mayweather.
“Nah these young [ninjas] crazy,” 50 Cent wrote in the caption. “8 million Gambling. I thought only Floyd do s### like that. LOL come out the joint looking distraught. I’m just glad he didn’t kill no body.”
The Atlanta native opened up about his gambling habits during a recent appearance on Lil Yachty’s “A Safe Place” podcast. According to the “BAND4BAND” hitmaker, the seven-figure loss put him off betting for life.
“$8 million,” he replied when Yachty asked about his heaviest gambling loss. “Like one day, probably like 40 hours straight, I lost like $8 million, $9 million. I made myself stop gambling.”
Lil Baby disclosed that he took extreme measures by turning to his longtime friend, Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin, to draft a letter prohibiting him from entering any casinos.
“I had Mike Rubin write a letter to every casino and ban me from the casino,” Lil Baby admitted. “I don’t gamble no more.”
Elsewhere during his interview with Lil Yachty, Lil Baby addressed his relationship with Rubin. He also reflected on his reaction to the viral photo of them at a party last year.
Meanwhile Lil Baby is gearing up to drop two new albums in 2025. He told Lil Yachty that both WHAM (Who Hard As Me) and Dominique are set to drop in 2025.
Fat Joe is catching heat over his remarks during a recent podcast appearance.
The Bronx-bred rapper of Cuban/ Puerto Rican descent sparked debate after discussing the Foundational Black Americans (FBA) group on Math Hoffa’s My Expert Opinion podcast. He mistakenly referred to the group as the “Foundational Black Authority,” while offering a scathing critique.
The FBA website describes the organization as “descendants of enslaved Black people who built the United States from scratch.”
However, according to Fat Joe, the group, who he referred to as “radical Black racists,” excluded Black people across the diaspora.
“It’s a group of these guys that don’t want to hear Jamaican, don’t want to hear Guyanese,” Fat Joe explained. “They don’t want to hear a Black guy that ain’t down with them, right? So, their job is to criticize anybody who don’t look like them. Who ain’t Black American.”
Fat Joe clarified he was talking about “the FBA” before disparaging the group.
“Whoever the f### these broke n##### is,” he added. “I’m just keeping it a buck. And their s### is to attack everyone on Twitter.”
Fat Joe displays prejudice against Black Americans. He is not a representative of Black people or Black culture, and his use of the N-word is offensive. Social Media Users React To Fat Joe’s FBA Critique
His remarks sparked debate online, with calling out his remarks.
When people want to denigrate Black American culture, they often use terms like FBA or ADOS disparagingly. Take Fat Joe, for instance,” one person shared. “His comments were wholly racist and inappropriate. FYI… we see you.”
“I’m so sorry, but I need Fat Joe to stop talking about Black people as if he is one,” added another. “I don’t care about his upbringing either.”
A third said, “The Latino Fat Joe got put on by Black Americans only to come out as an Anti-Black American Racist. This is a good case study on how Foreigners eat off Black Americans then immediately stab us in the back. We don’t need these Foreigners. They need us. Close the door on them.”
Check out some other reactions to Fat Joe’s remarks below.

Meek Mill is getting roasted online after sharing his admiration for Burkina Faso.
The Philly rapper has notoriously faced years of online roasting, fueled by viral memes, social media missteps, public feuds and moments that the internet has turned into running jokes.
He added to the catalog of awkward posts with a tweet on Sunday (December 22), seemingly mistaking the West African country of Burkina Faso with its military leader, Captain Ibrahim Traore.
“Burkina Faso need social media,” Meek Mill wrote. “I been following him for a while now! I like his energy and heart!”
Miffed social media users swiftly responded with one asking, “Are you doing this on purpose ???”
Another clarified, “Bro, it’s an entire country, not a SoundCloud rapper waiting for your co-sign. Do some research before spewing nonsense.”
Others deduced that Meek Mill was praising Traore, who has been President of Burkina Faso since 6 October 2022 after seizing power in a coup.
“He’s talking about the President of Burkina Faso, Ibrahim Traore,” one user shared. “(one of the very few African leaders who aren’t puppets installed by the west). May Allah protect him…. The fact Meek Mill of all people is talking about him makes me respect him so much.”

While Meek Mill might struggle to distinguish his African nations from their leaders, he has considered a move to the continent. He toyed with the idea of buying property in Ghana back in 2020.
“I want to buy a property in Ghana where do I start? A nice house. I need to feel that experience with my family as another option in life,” Meek Mill explained. “I don’t wanna dedicate my whole life to the American lifestyle I been living.. the odds are too stacked against us it feels like!”
Then earlier this year, Meek Mill expressed his desire to become a Ghanaian citizen.
“I wanna get citizenship in Ghana!!!!” he declared. “America made to tear black men down if you don’t follow orders!”
Check out some other responses to Meek Mill’s Burkina Faso blunder below.

Kim Kardashian has resurrected her short-lived music career with a new holiday single, a cover of “Santa Baby,” despite previously admitting she can’t sing.
For whatever god forsaken reason, the SKIMS founder surprised fans with the track, produced by brother-in-law, Travis Barker, who’s married to Kim’s older sister, Kourtney Kardashian.
Kardashian also dropped a video for the song, which arrived Sunday (December 22), just in time for Christmas.
The nightmarish home video-style footage features Kim Kardashian writing around on the ground and crawling on all fours through a bizarre Christmas party.
Macaulay Culkin makes a surprise cameo at the end of the video, where Kardashian kneels before Santa, who’s dramatically revealed to be the Home Alone star himself, also doubling as the person behind the eerie camera work.
Footage from The Kardashians shows Kim recording “Santa Baby” in 2023.
Kim Kardashian’s rendition of “Santa Baby” isn’t her first foray into the music business. The Kardashians star teamed up with The-Dream on “Jam (Turn It Up)” for charity in 2011.
She later admitted the single was her one big regret during an interview with Andy Cohen.
“It’s definitely a memory, and it was a fun experience,” Kardashian explained in 2014. “We gave the proceeds to a cancer organization. But if there’s one thing in life that I wish I didn’t do … I don’t like it when people kind of dabble into things they shouldn’t be. And that I don’t think I should have. Like, what gave me the right to think I could be a singer? Like, I don’t have a good voice.”
DDG and Halle Bailey have reunited to celebrate their little boy Halo, who just turned one, with a special celebration.
On Sunday (December 22), the rapper and YouTube personality shared a video of his lavish first birthday gift to Halo, a brand new red Ferrari.
“Look what I bought Halo for his 1st birthday!!!!!” DDG wrote on a video of him gifting the little boy the supercar.
Other footage from the little boy’s big day includes DDG and Halle Bailey walking Halo into the party, where the one-year-old seemed bewildered by a life-sized version of the beloved children’s character CoComelon.
Meanwhile, an emotional Bailey choked up and grew teary-eyed before singing “Happy Birthday” to Halo.
DDG recently revealed he wants to have more children with Halle Bailey in the next few years, despite their slit.
They parted ways in October, with DDG revealing the separation was mutual. Nonetheless, he expressed his desire for a larger family last month.
“I do want to have another kid,” he said. “But I will say this — I don’t want to have another kid too far away. Like, I don’t want Halo to be 10 and his little brother is 1. I feel like that defeats the entire purpose of having another kid.”
DDG went on to say he doesn’t want “baby mamas,” and admitted he was not over Halle Bailey.
“No, I’m not dating,” he explained. “I haven’t ‘moved on,’ whatever that means in y’all’s sense. I’m just really focused on work — that’s what I be trying to explain to y’all. This week, I done linked with three girls — for work purposes — and I go on TikTok and I see y’all making edits like I’m dating this girl. Y’all don’t even know. I’m just working.”
Pharrell Williams has stepped into a new role as a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, taking on a global mission to champion artistic education and entrepreneurship.
The announcement was made during a ceremony at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris on Tuesday, where the renowned musician and fashion innovator pledged to promote initiatives aimed at preserving Indigenous heritage, enhancing educational access for women, preventing genocide, and fostering equality.
“Growing up in Virginia, never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be given an opportunity like this one,” Williams said during his acceptance speech before an audience of international dignitaries.
The appointment marks a significant milestone not only for Williams but for the United States, as he is the first American to hold this role since the country’s reentry into UNESCO in 2022 after a years-long absence.
The Grammy-winning artist’s connection to Paris has deepened in recent years. Just two years ago, he was named men’s creative director for the French luxury brand Louis Vuitton, solidifying his influence in the fashion industry. Recently, he took the stage to perform at the reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral, further cementing his ties to the French capital and its cultural scene.
In his speech, Williams emphasized the importance of education and opportunity for those in underserved communities. “I really hope to deepen that sense of unity and togetherness,” he said. “My goal is to promote the kind of education that helps even the odds for marginalized kids like myself, and adults by closing the opportunity path.”
He continued, “At the core of everything that I do is the belief that opportunity should not be determined by the circumstances of where you come from.”
The appointment also comes on the heels of one of his standout moments last year when his Louis Vuitton Spring 2025 men’s line was unveiled at UNESCO’s iconic headquarters. Williams described the showcase as an “homage to mankind.”
As Pharrell Williams embarks on his new role, the musician, designer, and philanthropist carries with him a vision of inclusivity and hope. Through education, cultural preservation, and entrepreneurship, he intends to inspire the next generation and bridge the gaps that hold back marginalized communities.
Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg have reunited on a new short film tied to Snoop’s latest album, Missionary.
The project, released jointly by Death Row, Aftermath and Interscope Records, marks the iconic duo’s first major collaboration since 1993’s Doggystyle, an album that redefined West Coast Hip-Hop and cemented their legacy as trailblazers in the genre.
The partnership between Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre has always been built on trust and mutual respect, something Dre touched on while describing his role in shaping the project.
“It comes along with a massive amount of trust,” Dr. Dre said in an interview with the Los Angeles Times. “And you know, Snoop’s putting his entire career and his legacy and everything that he’s built in my hands. So I have to really nurture that and make sure it’s presented in the right way.”
One of the focal points of the new album is “Last Dance With Mary Jane,” a standout track that features Tom Petty and Jelly Roll.
Dr. Dre shared the backstory of Petty’s connection to the track, recalling a conversation with the rock icon, facilitated by Interscope co-founder Jimmy Iovine.
“I have this video clip with Tom Petty saying, ‘If Dre ever samples the song Mary Jane’s Last Dance, he’s going to have an instant hit on his hands.’”
With a blend of nostalgia and a forward-looking sound, the track exemplifies the depth of the duo’s artistry.
Snoop Dogg views Missionary as a reflection of his maturity as an artist and the creative energy Dr. Dre continues to bring out in him.
“We [still] in love with what we do. I’m peaking right now and Dr. Dre see that,” Snoop explained. “He brings the best out of me because he’s particular about everything I say, the way I deliver it, the f#####’ music and the concept of the songs..”
GloRilla visited Melrose High School in Memphis this week, donating $25,000 to support literacy and academic advancement within her hometown community.
The Hip-Hop artist and Melrose alumna surprised students during her December 19 visit, where her generosity was met with cheers and admiration.
“It’s a nostalgic feeling,” GloRilla said during the event. “I just can’t believe I’m this old now. I hope they happy, and I hope they’re excited.”
The funds will be used to renovate the school’s library, an initiative to create a more dynamic learning space for students and foster a reading culture.
Once completed, the library will be renamed the Gloria H. Woods Media Center in tribute to the artist’s birth name.
According to school officials, the revitalized space will include updated technology, comfortable study areas, and literacy-driven resources designed to benefit students and the broader Orange Mound neighborhood.
For the Grammy-nominated rapper, the opportunity to give back to her alma mater represents fulfilling a personal dream.
Reflecting on her own high school experience, GloRilla explained how important it was for her to have the chance to make a difference.
“I always wished somebody could do that when I was going to school, and so the fact that I had the ability to do it now, it just warms my heart,” she said.
Melrose alumni and staff praised GloRilla’s contribution, describing it as inspiring current students. Addressing students during the visit, GloRilla offered encouraging words about setting and achieving goals.
“Whatever you want to do, go for it. Have faith, manifest, and go for it,” she emphasized.
The day ended with applause and gratitude as the rapper left a lasting impression at the school that helped shape her journey.
Comedian Corey Holcomb, who is currently the host of The Corey Holcomb 5150 Show, has been accused of assaulting a women outside the Hollywood Improv Club earlier this month.
According to TMZ, witnesses told law enforcement that Holcomb approached comedian Cristina Payne as she lingered near the venue and started screaming at her. Sources claimed they were told the 56-year-old podcast host threatened to punch Payne in the face, so another man attempted to diffuse the situation. Holcomb allegedly swung over the man and punched Payne directly in the face.
Several people, including Holcomb, supposedly tackled the aspiring peacemaker before all hell broke loose and Holcomb took off running. When officers showed up at the scene, they took a battery report and left without making any arrests.
The feud reportedly dates back to July, when Holcomb said he wanted to “super sock” Payne. He added, “Somebody come get this b#### before I f### her up.”
Holcomb is apparently using his podcast to deny the allegations, but there are multiple people who are willing to testify against him if he’s arrested and charged.
It’s not the first time Holcomb has been accused of harassing or trying to intimidate a woman.
In 2022, he dedicated ample time on his podcast to tear down and attempt to intimate a former journalist at HipHopDX, who reported on his claim that Rick Ross ditched the 85 South Show mid-interview for salacious reasons.
The hosts were told he had to catch a flight, but DC Young Fly found that excuse hard to believe.
“We ain’t get no dap?!” DC said of his exit. “How he just gon’ disappear on a n-gga like that? We ain’t even say bye or nothing!”
During a taping of the D’s Loose Talk About Bullshit with Darlene Ortiz, Holcomb suggested Ross left the show after realizing none of the hosts were homosexual.
“Out of nowhere Rick said he had to use the bathroom to take his jacket off … after some good time had passed, Ross’ team informed the show that Ross had departed,” Ortiz read. “He caught a flight. They were like, ‘What the hell?’”
Holcomb replied, “That boy showed up at the 85 South Show and realized ain’t none of these n-ggas gay. I’m leavin … he was around all heterosexual n-ggas. Don’t nobody say that. N-gga, we know what it is. Y’all muthafuckas get mad at me. N-gga, let me tell you something.
“If Rick Ross watching this, let me tell you something — stop hiring drivers. Drivers always tell on ya, n-gga. I know what happened at LAX with that boy.”
After the story ran, Holcomb proceeded to track down the writer and scream at her on the phone before having a total hissy fit on his show.
The investigation into the latest incident is ongoing.
