Meek Mill was enraged by Philly rapper Poundside Pop’s interview with DJ Akademiks. Pop added to Meek’s drama by airing their issues in a conversation with Akademiks, who antagonized Meek over allegations from a bombshell lawsuit against Diddy.
Akademiks stirred up serious issues between Meek and Pop as threats were exchanged on social media. Meek claimed Pop talked too much and admitted he wanted Pop “out the way.”
“Why you keep speaking on vert for you from the zoo stop tryna connect because you scared p####,” Meek wrote on Instagram Stories. “I ain’t gone let up off ya [neck] until you do something…. You gone die goinn against me nothing the less…. Making up all this dumb s### let’s see who run the hood you around today because I am?”
He continued, “You want this s### for you p####… I die your whole family getting wiped down… let’s say less this guy saying n##### names and s### this a boy ima treat him that way when we meet! It’s real facts not a threat ima be in Philly all day today! Moving around til night I ge there like 10pm lol.”
Meek claimed Pop’s father was the man who snitched on Tommy Hill, a member of the Philly rap group RAM Squad. Meek said it was in his foe’s DNA to “hate real kings” like him.
“Poundside pop dad is boy backs son that snitched on the whole ram squad the biggest Philly rap group,” Meek wrote with a link to the video below. “This is his son now coming after me that s### in they blood I will crush his son tho i move different … that’s his dad … says it all smh.”
Meek boasted about his accomplishments while addressing his beef with Pop. Meek also referenced Nipsey Hussle’s death in the Instagram Stories tirade.
“Bum ass n##### hating on a king,” he wrote. “I done changed laws put like 20 black and brown men in the city on real money… gave verses to everybody… gave millions of toys and clothing to the kids…. I never been touched in the county or state… nobody ever robbed me in my life never been shot thank god for all that… put half the hood on jets and showed them a better life… use this as a example you come up… get your family and move like the big celebs do these guys are becoming mentally sick and I’m starting to geek with them! Forever stepping never letting a bum kill me eva! I woke up on this everyday since I seen that footage of nipsey.… The hood let down big with that…. Made me different! I’ll protect my own soul.”
Pop repeatedly trolled Meek over the Diddy lawsuit, which claimed Meek had sex with Diddy, and accused his foe of hanging with a well-known “rat” in Philly. Pop declared he was ready to “rumble” over their feud, which appeared to be on the verge of escalating to violence.
We have reached the part of the proverbial chat in which Lil’ Meech aka Demetrius Flenory Jr enters his third season as the lead of a hit television show, BMF, which tells the story of his father and uncle’s rise to power in organized crime before he was born.
Surreal is a strong enough word to describe the experience, if we’re being honest.
But Flenory appears to be handling it quite well.
As season 3 premieres we find the brothers, played by Lil’ Meech and Da’Vinchi, temporarily going their separate ways as Big Meech heads down to Atlanta to expand their enterprise and Terry aka Southwest T remains in Detroit.
In “real life” this is a critical part of their harrowing tale that leads to the incredible expansion and eventual demise of what they built seemingly overnight.
Recently, AllHipHop was able to get Lil’ Meech to slow down for a spell and discuss his evolution as an actor, how the arc of the story of BMF will change, as well as the career option that he tried and failed at before 50 Cent reached out to him and made an offer he most certainly could no refuse-to star in a series as his incarcerated father.
Lil’ Meech also appeared on the hit HBO series Euphoria of which he is a fan. He maintains he’s on his way to being a real thespian.
“This is what I know. This is what I’m supposed to be doing. Once I started getting comfortable in the first and second seasons, I knew that I could handle my job. Not just do the role, but embody it,” Lil’ Meech told AllHipHop. “I want people to know that I really went to acting school and buckled down and focused. This is something I really want to do. This is not something that I am just trying. I wanted to show people that I could really act.”
Check out the full conversation in the video above where Lil Meech talks about realizing he was not cut out to be an emcee. Also, see our first interview with the one-time rapper.
Beyoncé unveiled the title of her highly anticipated country album on Tuesday (March 12). The megastar selected Cowboy Carter as the name for the upcoming project.
The chart-topping singer shared the title with fans by posting a simple photo of a black and silver saddle with a sash reading Cowboy Carter on Instagram Stories. The post included a link to pre-order limited edition boxsets, CDs and vinyl. Beyoncé updated her Instagram profile bio with the essential details for her album.
“act ii COWBOY CARTER 3.29,” the bio read.
Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter boxsets included a t-shirt, limited edition CD cover and bonus track. Four colors were offered for the vinyl. The Cowboy Carter merch was limited to four copies per customer.
Earlier this year, Beyoncé delighted her fans by announcing a new album in a Super Bowl advertisement for Verizon. She confirmed speculation about her shifting to country music with the release of the first two singles: “16 Carriages” and “Texas Hold ‘Em.” The pop star’s change in style helped her make more history in the music industry.
Beyoncé’s “Texas Hold ‘Em” reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs, making her the first Black woman to ever reach the top of the chart. The song’s success was not limited to the country charts as it also hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
“Texas Hold ‘Em” was Beyoncé’s ninth No. 1 song as a solo artist. It was her first chart-topping single since 2022’s “Break My Soul.”
Cowboy Carter serves as the follow-up to Beyoncé’s platinum-selling album Renaissance. The upcoming album is the second release in a planned trilogy. Renaissance was billed as Act I while Cowboy Cowboy has been dubbed Act II.

An elderly Boeing whistleblower has been found dead under mysterious circumstances. John Barnett, who was 62 years old at the time of his death, had worked at the aviation company for 32 years up until his retirement in 2017. He primarily worked as a quality manager at the North Charleston plant, making the 787 Dreamliner aircraft from 2010 and on.
According to police reports, Barnett was found dead at his home in the United States from a from a “self-inflicted gunshot wound.” In the days leading up to his death, Barnett had been cooperating and providing evidence in a whistleblower lawsuit against the company.
Barnett had built a reputation as a whistleblower, whose revelations rocked the aerospace giant by bringing their production standards into critical view. He also played a pivotal role in exposing damning information about Boeing’s questionable practices. One of his most notable battles with the company arose in 2019, when Barnett accused Boeing of “deliberately fitting sub-standard parts to aircraft on the production line.”
Details surrounding the death are scarce, but sources close to the investigation suggest foul play may be at play. Was this a tragic accident or a calculated move to silence a voice of dissent?
The timing of the whistleblower’s death is particularly chilling, coming on the heels of mounting scrutiny over Boeing’s safety record and corporate culture. Barnett had previously accused the company of a litany of serious safety violations in the past. Among the complaints Barnett submitted, he alleged emergency oxygen systems due to be fitted to the 787 showed a failure rate of 25 percent, in addition to claiming sub-standard parts were removed from scrap bins and fitted to planes on the production line.
While Boeing has denied Barnett’s claims, records show a 2017 review conducted by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) upheld some of his claims. Additionally, news of Barnett’s death follows the incident from in early January, when an unused emergency exit door blew off a brand-new Boeing 737 Max shortly after take-off from Portland International Airport.
Not to mention the FAA recently revealed six-week audit of the company returned evidence of “multiple instances where the company allegedly failed to comply with manufacturing quality control requirements”.
The Hollywood Walk of Fame announced plans to immortalize Dr. Dre in Los Angeles. The Hip-Hop legend will receive a star next to his old pal Snoop Dogg on the Walk of Fame at a ceremony on March 19.
“Dr. Dre’s contributions to the music industry are undeniable and have left an indelible mark on popular culture,” Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez said. “As a producer, rapper, and entrepreneur, Dr. Dre has continuously pushed boundaries and set new standards for excellence. It is with great pride that we honor his incredible career and extraordinary impact by awarding him a star on the Walk of Fame. Dr. Dre’s star will serve as a lasting symbol of his immense talent and enduring legacy in the world of music. What is special regarding the location chosen for Dr. Dre’s star is that it will be next to the star of his longtime friend Snoop Dogg!”
Snoop Dogg and Interscope Records co-founder Jimmy Iovine will be the guest speakers for the ceremony. Radio personality Big Boy will emcee the event.
Dr. Dre will be presented with the 2,775th star in Walk of Fame history. He secured the star in the recording category.
Snoop Dogg will return a favor by speaking at Dr. Dre’s Walk of Fame ceremony. The N.W.A member was one of the speakers at Snoop Dogg’s star ceremony in 2018.
Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg remained close friends and collaborators three decades after they began working together. The two most recently teamed up for a new line of canned alcoholic drinks, which were appropriately named Gin & Juice.
“Together, we always try to create magic, we’re having fun being creative, and everything about this product is really us,” Dr. Dre said. “There’s passion behind it, and friendship and love and a culture. We’re shooting to make everything we do magnificent, and fortunately, most of the time we hit the target.”
Nicki Minaj’s half-sister Ming Luanli, who embarked on a music career, wanted a major platform to respond to questions about their relationship. Ming said she was holding out for an interview with The Breakfast Club in an Instagram Stories post.
“Everyone wants me to speak,” she wrote. “I’m saving my interview for @breakfastclubam.”
Ming teamed with Rakeem Love for a collaboration titled “Do It Again,” which dropped on March 8. As Ming began her musical journey, Nicki’s fans wondered why the Hip-Hop star wasn’t assisting her younger sister. One fan on Instagram specifically asked if Nicki offered to help. Ming fired back, “Did I ask for it?”
The response created more speculation about Ming’s relationship with her famous sister. Ming hinted at a possible strain between the two but insisted she loved her family – including Nicki – in another Instagram Stories post.
“And also one more thing,” Ming wrote. “I won’t be disrespected by anybody cause respect is always earned, and yes I do love my family let that be known too..all of them.”
Earlier this year, Ming refused to get involved in Nicki’s feud with Megan Thee Stallion. Ming told fans the beef had nothing to do with her.
“Whatever beef that’s going on, I really don’t give a f### for it,” Ming said. “Like that got nothing to do with me. I’m working on my life, my grind … I don’t care about that s###, bro. I really don’t give a f### for it. I don’t give a f### for it. It ain’t helping me with what I need to do with my life.”
Ming previously announced she would “no longer be known as Nicki Minaj’s little sister.” She vowed to work her way to the top and accomplish “big things” on her own. Ming claimed she would not receive any “secret help,” an apparent reference to Nicki.
Cardi B joined the Queen of Pop in the Kia Forum on Monday night (March 11). Madonna’s The Celebration Tour rolled into the City of Angels, and the legendary singer brought out the Hip-Hop star.
According to reports, Madonna selected Cardi B as the latest guest judge for the “Vogue” dance-off portion. In addition, Madonna’s 11-year-old daughter, Estere, took part in the light-hearted competition.
Footage from the packed Los Angeles show made its way to social media. For example, the Pop Base account on X (formerly Twitter) posted videos of Cardi B and Madonna on stage together at the concert.
In 2022, Cardi B and Madonna had a public clash after the Material Girl claimed her S.E.X. book paved the way for social approval of sex-positive content like Cardi’s “WAP” song. The Bronx-bred rapstress took offense to Madonna ending her Instagram message by writing, “You’re welcome b###### [clown emoji].”
“I talked to Madonna… It was beautiful [smiling face with tear emoji],” Cardi tweeted on October 23, 2022, after the two Grammy Award winners reconciled. That same day, Madonna tweeted, “I love you @iamcardib!! [heart emoji]. Always have and always will.”
Cardi B is preparing to enter a new era of her career. The former Love & Hip Hop cast member announced her upcoming single “Enough (Miami)” will drop on Friday (March 15). A snippet of the track already racked up 19 million plays on Instagram.
GloRilla scored another hit with her “Yeah Glo!” single. The Memphis-raised performer continues to promote the record. For example, Glo posted a video with popular elderly social media stars.
Curtis, Mabel, Larry, Rose, Bubbe, and Eugene comprise the content creation collective known as Retirement House. The Los Angeles-based actors, aged between 70 and 86, recently linked up with GloRilla to perform “Yeah Glo!”
The CMG recording artist and Retirement House posted the “Yeah Glo!” performance clip on their respective social media accounts. GloRilla rapped the lyrics to the song as the granfluencers served as her hype men and hype women.
20-somethings Brandon Chase and Adi Azran founded Retirement House. The group has 1.6 million followers on Instagram and 5.6 million followers on TikTok. Their #CeilingChallenge TikTok video featuring J.I.D’s “Surround Sound” amassed more than 47 million views.
“Yeah Glo!” debuted at No. 89 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. GloRilla’s latest musical offering rose to No. 49 this week. The song became her third highest-charting entry after “Tomorrow 2” with Cardi B (No. 9) and “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” with Hitkidd (No. 42).
Dee Aura doesn’t want to be boxed into a drill artist, he’s here to make a name for himself on his own terms. Hailing from Long Island, New York, the rising star has been enthralled with music since the age of seven. Inspired by the likes of 50 Cent, Fabolous, Max B and G Herbo, Dee Aura got his start recording and uploading songs to SoundCloud. By the age of 17, he landed his first live performance. Now, he’s ready to push his name from the underground rap scene to the mainstream.
Most recently, Dee Aura unveiled his newest single and visual for “Forensics,” which lives on his Fast Life EP. The record serves as a form of self-expression, for fans to relate and know that it’s OK to get things off your chest.
“It’s all about how I feel and speaking my truth,” he tells AllHipHop. “There are people who are gonna watch and they are either doing it out of love or they are haters. They are watching you and that’s like forensics.”
Directed by Gelato, the accompanying video sees Dee Aura and his friends bringing the song to life in their local neighborhood, shot in Harlem on Malcolm X Blvd.
To date, Dee Aura has performed at major festivals such as Governor’s Ball and Rolling Loud. He’s also worked with music icons such as Young Nudy, Skepta, VLONE, Slimesito and more. In fact, Drake even gave Dee Aura a cosign on his song “Give Back,” which sampled Drake’s verse on “Aston Martin Music.”
AllHipHop spoke with Dee Aura virtually to discuss his background, what sets him apart, “Forensics,” studio essentials, his Hoodluv series, love for G Herbo and more.
AllHipHop: For those who don’t know, who is Dee Aura?
Dee Aura: I’m an 03 legend. I’m one of the faces of sample drill. I’m Big Barlito, big 13.
AllHipHop: What does 13 mean?
Dee Aura: That’s my exit, where I’m from.
AllHipHop: What was it like growing up in Long Island?
Dee Aura: It was alright. It was cool. It was really much different from anywhere else in New York, because I was more so in the beginning part of it. Not really deep in Long Island. Long Island goes very far.
AllHipHop: When did you fall in love with music?
Dee Aura: As long as I remember. Since I was about six, seven years old, I always loved music.
AllHipHop: Do you remember the first artist you fell in love with?
Dee Aura: I believe it was Juelz Santana or Fabolous. One of those two.
AllHipHop: When did you realize you could do music for a living?
Dee Aura: When I first started seeing people sell my own released music. Once I’ve seen that people are making money off my music, this is before I started making money on my own music. I got it on Apple and stuff like that, then people started paying me for features. I started seeing I can make this a long-term thing. Depending if I keep going hard with it, and that’s what I’m doing.
AllHipHop: How does your childhood or upbringing play a role in your music?
Dee Aura: Everywhere I went, it’s music always around me. Music always playing. My family loves music. All my friends around me, they were into the same thing. So it was always music everywhere I went.
AllHipHop: How is your sound different from the other drill artists?
Dee Aura: Sh*t, I don’t like to label myself as a drill artist because I’m really able to do a lot of different sh*t. I’m very versatile with my craft. I sound very different in that way, because I can stretch out and do a lot of different [stuff]. I could do whatever somebody wants me to do.
AllHipHop: How’d you get your name?
Dee Aura: Aura, I got that from my big cousin. Because I used to always look up to him and he’s into fashion. I’ll always look after him for sh*t like that. He went away for some time when I started rapping. I was already using that name, as my Facebook name. So that’s how it came about, I kept it from my Facebook name. [laughs]
AllHipHop: You just dropped “Forensics,” what inspired this one?
Dee Aura: That’s with Gelato, NYC. That’s the videographer who shot it. He had just started the Corner Store series and that’s the fourth one he did. “Forensics” is a song part of my Fast Life EP, that came about because I feel like I’m always being watched. Anything I do, I compare it to forensics, how they watch me when they’re doing their job. That’s how I felt. That’s how I came up with the song. I was really vibing to it in the studio. Those words came to my head and I felt it was perfect for it.
AllHipHop: Why did you name your EP Fast Life? What do you want fans to take away from it?
Dee Aura: That was something I’ve been working on for a while. I had that under my sleeve for years, I’ve been waiting for the right time to really make it a project. I already made a song called “Fast Life.” My life is fast, the way I live. I move too fast for certain sh*t. A lot of sh*t. That’s just the way I live, it’s fast.
AllHipHop: What is it you want fans to take away from your story?
Dee Aura: My work ethic, and to never give up. Don’t let nobody shoot down your dreams. Always feel that you’re able to do what you feel is possible.
AllHipHop: How’s the independent grind?
Dee Aura: It’s a road. It’s definitely a road. It’s a rollercoaster, you got your ups and downs. But it’s always best to own your s### and be able to do what you want, knowing nobody can stop you. That’s the best part about it.
AllHipHop: Three things you need in the studio at all times?
Dee Aura: I need my good beats. That means I need my email, that’s one. I need that email always, because forgetting my password sometimes. I’ll lose emails that have good beats. A good beat and I’ll have a good session. Two, I need my party pack. I need my good weed, good little drink. And I’m good. Three, I just need to feel good. That’s all I know, I need to feel good every time I’m making music. I need that feeling, that’s the third thing. That feeling every time.
AllHipHop: Talk about your Valentine’s Day EP. Did you make that for the ladies obviously?
Dee Aura: Yeah facts, that’s for the lovers right there. Also because I have a little genre myself I call “hood luv,” that people be really liking from me a lot. When I switch up and go to the samples or the R&B type of style, with the rapping. I did that as a quick little “hood luv” EP for them, for the people that really be wanting that for me. They want me to drop Hoodluv3 from the Hoodluv series, so I gave that to them for now.
AllHipHop: Talk about Drake cosigning you on “GIve Back.”
Dee Aura: That mainly just felt like s### is more possible with music. I found out about Drake growing up when I was 10 years old on a burned cd. He’s a legend to me so that felt very good to grab his attention again. I was reaching out to him through a friend, Endthechromewars. catching his attention through Evil Gianni the producer, he just dropped Heaven’s Gate Volume 1. I have two tracks on there, Shottas and Crowd Surf. I wanted to get him on the Give Back remix. I ended up getting on OVO radio a few times through Give Back and Hoodluv.
AllHipHop: You’ve opened for both Young Nudy and Skepta. How’d that happen?
Dee Aura: Young Nudy, that was when I was with Shawny Binladen and Cash Cobain. We did that years ago. That was one of the first shows we had done together. I believe management has set that up that one. But Skepta, that was through my brother A$VP illz. He had linked us up in New York. We had recorded a song called “Street Sweeper.” with Skepta. It’s not out yet, it’s unreleased. We were vibing out from there, we had a lifelong connection. He came back to New York, told me to pull up the day of. I didn’t even know that Governor’s Ball was even going on. He told me to pull up. Pulled up, we did the song. The song wasn’t even out, everybody was wildin’ to it. It sounds like everybody was singing the damn lyrics to the sh*t. That was a beautiful experience right there. Shout out Skepta, shout out A$AP Illz.
AllHipHop: What do you like to do when you’re not working?
Dee Aura: I like to make music. I like to be in the studio. Even when it’s not a job, it is a job. Because I also want to get into making beats. I already had started before, but I want to get more dedicated to it.
AllHipHop: Who would you like to collaborate with?
Dee Aura: G Herbo. I listen to him a lot. I f### with his music a lot.
AllHipHop: What’s your favorite G herbo song?
Dee Aura: I like “Who Run It” freestyle. I like Pistol P. I like “Write Your Name,” “Malcolm X,” Heaven or Hell.” It’s a lot. I like everything. I can sit here and run through a lot.
AllHipHop: Anything else you’re excited for?
Dee Aura: I’m about drop a lot of singles, get ready for those. Those are going to be some big singles. There might be some big features I might be dropping too, look out for those. I’m going to be consistent all year round: music, everything. You gon’ see me doing a lot.
Ice Spice attended Vanity Fair‘s Oscar night party in Beverly Hills on Sunday (March 10). The Bronx-bred rapper shared the space with A-listers such as Quinta Brunson, Margot Robbie, Donald Glover, Kylie Jenner, Cardi B and others.
At least one X user did not like Ice Spice’s Dolce & Gabbana dress for the Vanity Fair function. On Monday (March 11), the @1800viagra account tweeted, “I wish her stylist would try harder… same lace bodysuit back to back.”
Spice saw that post and fired back, “Let’s see u b###### in custom Dolce.” The 24-year-old rhymer returned to the social media platform ten hours later to add, “Srry 4 bein a meanie I was only tryna hurt ur feelings bc u hurt mine.”
While Ice Spice took time to address an online hater, the Capitol Records-backed recording artist has been preparing to release her debut studio LP. She teased the Y2K album will arrive soon.
Spice broke out with “Munch (Feelin’ U)” in 2022. Last year saw the rising star link up with PinkPantheress (“Boy’s a Liar Pt. 2”), Nicki Minaj (“Barbie World”) and Taylor Swift (“Karma”) for Top 10 entries on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
In January 2024, Ice Spice dropped the “Think U the S### (Fart)” single. She later admitted the RiotUSA-produced track targeted Latto. The Atlanta rapper shot back at Spice on her “Sunday Service” song the following month.
Is Amber Rose a muse for classic music? Ma$e seems to believe the former video model played a significant role in her ex-boyfriends’ recording careers.
Amber Rose began dating Kanye West in 2008. She married Wiz Khalifa five years later. Rose and Khalifa have one son together. In addition, 21 Savage got into a relationship with the SlutWalk organizer around 2017.
The topic of Amber Rose’s dating history came up on a recent episode of Ma$e and Cam’ron’s It Is What It Is. The “Horse & Carriage” collaborators spoke about Rose during a segment covering the celebrity couple of 39-year-old Draya Michelle and 22-year-old Jalen Green.
“Every time Amber got with somebody, they made the best music of their life. Think of the music Ye was making with her,” Ma$e told Cam’ron and fellow co-host Treasure “Stat Baby” Wilson.
The Harlem World album creator continued, “Think of [‘We Dem Boyz’]. That was when Wiz was with Amber. And 21 did his thing when he was with Amber, right? N##### made some of their best music.”
However, Cam’ron disagreed with Ma$e. The Dipset member claimed all three rap stars excelled as artists before being in a relationship with the Philadephia native.
“She didn’t find them because they were nice guys,” Cam’ron said. “They were making good music before she got with them. If they wasn’t, she wouldn’t have got with them.”
Ma$e responded, “Killa, you don’t get [Kanye West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy] from dating regular girls. You got that from Amber. You don’t get ‘We Dem Boyz,’ you don’t feel like that unless you’re with somebody that makes you feel like we dem boys.”
On Monday (March 11), Meek Mill publicly shared his thoughts on Kanye West. The Philadelphia-born MC posted a self-described “random” social media post about the “Carnival” hitmaker.
“Random but: I think Yeezy smart but be off a lil but because I bought like 17 pair of Yeezys since we [have] been trading rap shots,” Meek Mill tweeted about 20 minutes before midnight ET.
The Heathenism EP creator also added, “And I listened to your music to get me through my bid. You a super legend. I was more confused of why you was going so hard to go at me in the beginning.”
Both Meek Mill and Kanye West have been at the center of controversies in recent years. Meek was alluded to in a sexual misconduct lawsuit against Diddy. West faced significant condemnation for antisemitic comments.
Despite the backlash, Ye continues to find commercial success as a recording artist. His “Carnival” collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign, Playboi Carti and Rich The Kid rose to No. 1 on the latest Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Battle rap fan Chad Ochocinco Johnson is with all the smoke and wants to step into the arena with Loaded Lux after calling out some of the culture’s most gifted and respected names.
The former Bengals wide receiver believes he’s got what it takes to battle rap. Not only that, but he thinks he can beat the best in the game.
During an appearance in The Breakfast Club on Monday (March 11) Ochocinco challenged a roster of top names, including Loaded Lux, DNA, Charlie Clips, Hollow Da Don, Goodz and Aye Verb.
“Let them boys know I’m outside,” he said. “I’m a 3-0 all them n#####.”
Among the first to reply was Ultimate Rap League co-founder Smack White, who welcomed the challenge.
“I’m looking for him, let’s get to it,” he shared. “I want to see him Battle all of them. Do you think he can stand in front of them? Let’s bring some excitement back to the Culture.”
Everybody tell @ochocinco I’m looking for him, let’s get to it. I want to see him Battle all of them. Do you think he can stand in front of them? Let’s bring some excitement back to the Culture. 💯💯💯@smackwhitepic.twitter.com/FWdh9DVOMe
However, Harlem legend Loaded Lux replied with a face-palm emoji on the gram before pulling up to Nightcap with Ochocinco and Shannon Sharpe.
He dropped off a few bars, giving Ochocinco a taste of what’s in store, even taking a jab at him over his domestic abuse case.
“Don’t get me started,” Ochocinco replied. “I need to see you on stage, in front of the people, in front of the world.“
Lux told Ocho he could “get this work” after he battles Rum Nitty on URL later this spring. Despite highly rating Nitty and Lux, Ochocinco thinks he could face both battle rappers simultaneously.
Battle Rappers Respond To Ochocinco
Naturally, there were plenty of other responses from the veterans MCs who don’t duck wreck. Hollow Da Don said they can go “now,” while DNA said he would “smoke” Ochocinco on Club Shay Shay and Aye Verb accused the former athlete of “trippin.”
This isn’t Ochocinco’s first foray into battle rap and Loaded Lux wouldn’t technically be his first clash. He had a freestyle battle with DNA and Nu Jerzey Twork after talking smack online for months.
Rick Ross mercilessly mocked a YouTuber who accused him of flexing a knock-off watch, claiming that his emerald Audemars Piguet is a fake.
Nico Leonard, who brands himself “That Watch Guy from Youtube,” and has more that 1.5 million followers on the platform, spotted Rozay flexing his extensive collection of luxury timepieces in a recent feature from lifestyle magazine Robb Report.
Among the watches featured is an “an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak awash in 816 baguette-cut emeralds.”
However, Leonard said the piece is not real. “Why are you flaunting fake watches?” he asked in an Instagram video last week. “There’s only one of these watches in the world.”
He also showed off a photo purportedly of the genuine emerald Audemars Piguet insisting the owner sent it to him as proof. Leonard tagged Ross, refuting claims his watch is worth over $3 million. “It’s only worth Scrap Value,” he added.
The MMG founder took to Instagram to address “the little fat guy in the one cubicle office speaking on watches.”
“It’s unbelievable isn’t it, fat guy, little piglet?” he said before ridiculing Leonard. “Oh those emeralds are so rare. It would be so hard for a black man to obtain such a rare timepiece.”
He told the watch expert to “stay out of grown folks business,” before continuing to mock him.
50 Cent said he will make multi-billion-dollar spirits brand Beam Suntory pay after allegedly discovering its role in an embezzlement scheme that cost him millions of dollars and nearly ended his Sire Spirits company.
50 Cent took to Instagram Monday evening (March 11) to warn Beam Suntory will “pay for what they did.
He added, “These big companies think they can get away with anything. It has cost me millions in legal fees. They are gonna find out I’m not the one you want to play with.”
The G-Unit founder filed a complaint with the New York State Supreme Court, per Fox5 News. In the filing, he accused Beam Suntory of being complicit in a kickback scheme. Fiddy claims the brand overcharged Sire Spirits for the liquor they supplied and split the difference – estimated to be in excess of $6 million – with the defendants.
Sire Spirits attorney Craig W##### told the outlet, “Beam Suntory’s role here is extraordinarily troubling.” He claimed the brand’s Chief Commercial Officer Julious Grant “facilitated the entire fraud.”
Mitchell Green, unscrupulous former director of Brand Management for 50 Cent’s Sire Spirits previously pleaded guilty to wire fraud for his role in the alleged scheme. Green embezzled over $2 million from his employers and was ordered to pay more than $6 million in damages. Fiddy warned Beam Suntory were next.
50 Cent Threatens To Detail Liquor Lawsuit Allegations In A Press Conference
Meanwhile, in a follow-up post, the Power creator shared the report from Fox5 News detailing the complaint. “I’m not the guy you want to get started. In nicest way I’m gonna need my money by Monday,” he captioned the post.
50 Cent returned a short time later to post an alleged letter from Beam Suntory boasting of their “longstanding relationship” with the rapper and Sire Spirits.
“This is the letter @beamsuntory sent without my knowledge to the people involved in the scheme that cost me millions,” he wrote. Fiddy then threatened to hold a press conference to expose the alleged co-conspirators. “This will make a great unscripted project,” he added.
It all started on Monday (March 11), when Rivera shared a quote on Instagram about jealousy “over a seat I had first.” Waka’s new boo, who he went Instagram official with in January, then shared an interesting quote of her own, prompting Rivera to call out Waka. She took to The Neighborhood Talk comment section to respond to a post featuring their quotes.
According to Rivera, she just spoke to Waka about “Big Mel” and warned him to talk to her before branding Mel a knockoff Tammy Rivera.
“Man I’m just waking up it’s 9am over where I’m at,” she began. “Waka we e literally just talked about this this last night (your morning) ..Waka get her please for I hurt this lil girl feelings. Oh btw that post wasn’t even about him nor you but hit dogs holla.. You f’king up your seat Sh ein Tammy.”
Mel then posted her own quote. “Being washed up and can’t let go of your past is type crazy,” the post read. She wrote on the post, “This is the one, cuz it’s givinig jealous and bitter.”
While the man at the center of the drama has been quiet, his mother and powerhouse industry manager, Debra Antney, wants them to stop airing their dirty laundry in public.
“Why are we doing this s### on the internet. We don’t do this s###,’ she replied to Rivera on Instagram.
While Rivera then shared another post asking to be left alone, Mel wrote about being wary of “who I love.”

Bishop Lamor Whitehead, the blinged-out Brooklyn pastor who made headlines in 2022 when he got robbed during Sunday service, has reportedly been convicted in Manhattan federal court of defrauding a parishioner, among other counts.
On Monday (March 11), the self-proclaimed bishop and real estate investor was also found guilty of attempted extortion, wire fraud and lying to the F.B.I., per The New York Times. A jury took around three hours to reach a verdict after prosecutors argued he forced victims to give him money. In addition, he was accused of bragging about access to New York City Mayor Eric Adams.
During the trial, the court heard that Whitehead persuaded a parishioner to invest around $90,000 with him to buy a house before spending the money on himself, paying for luxury goods and other items. In court, Whitehead tried to blame his parishioner’s son for the loss.
“He was a man of God,” victim Pauline Anderson said of Bishop Whitehead while sobbing. “I believed him as the leader of his church.”
Additionally, prosecutors claimed Whitehead misrepresented his relationship with the mayor to convince a local business owner to lend him $500,000.
“He was lying about the access, he was lying about the influence, he was lying about all of it,” the prosecutor said in his closing argument.
Judge Lorna G. Schofield is set to sentence Whitehead on July 1. He could face decades of prison time.
Meanwhile, Whitehead is also embroiled in a $360 million lawsuit with controversial YouTube personality Tasha K. In November, Whitehead’s lawyer asked a judge to remove him from the case, citing abuse and non-payment.
Saweetie, the celebrated rapper behind hits like “Icy Grl” and “My Type,” has candidly shared her past struggles with live performances, revealing steps she took to hone her craft following a tough 2021 concert.
In an interview with Allure, Saweetie opened up about the challenges she faced when she started performing live, including criticism of her dance moves and breath control during her appearance at the Triller Fight Club event with Doja Cat.
The criticism led the artist to seek improvement through what she calls a “work vacation,” involving a rigorous artist boot camp designed to sharpen her performance skills.
Saweetie admitted that multitasking on stage—dancing, rapping, and singing simultaneously—proved more challenging than anticipated.
“I always bite off more than I can chew. I had to push myself,” Saweetie reflected.
Discussing her approach to overcoming stage fright and performance anxieties, Saweetie shared, “That’s not my strength. And that’s okay because you’re supposed to turn your weaknesses into strengths.”
In addition to divulging details about her professional evolution, Saweetie also touched on her personal journey, particularly her decision to take a hiatus in 2022.
The “Best Friend” artist described this period as a spiritual journey prompted by online criticism and disrespect. Faced with negativity, Saweetie emphasized the importance of focusing on her path and growth rather than engaging in conflicts.
Saweetie remarked on this difficult period, stating, “A lot of people decided to disrespect me on a world stage… It was really hard for me to deal with being attacked so much by different people.”
Through these candid revelations, Saweetie not only showcases her dedication to personal and professional improvement but also her resolve to maintain positivity in the face of adversity.
Former Bad Boy artist and Junior M.A.F.I.A. member Lil Cease has spoken out amidst serious allegations against music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The allegations against Combs have been grave and numerous, painting a troubling picture of his past actions. Combs has recently come under fire due to allegations of violence and sexual assault.
Among the accusations detailed, Combs was accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie, an issue that was reportedly resolved quickly through a settlement.
Furthermore, Combs faces allegations of sexual assault against Joi Dickerson Neil. Even more disturbing are the claims of a woman identified only as Jane Doe, who alleges that in the early 1990s, Combs and singer-songwriter Aaron Hall committed egregious acts of sexual violence against her and a friend following an event at Uptown Records.
Finally, Diddy was hit with a $30 million lawsuit filed by a man named Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, who claimed the mogul sexually assaulted him, tried to cover up a shooting, and even taped celebrities during infamous “freak off parties.”
During an interview, Lil Cease, a long-time collaborator and friend of Diddy, seemed to play it safe. He didn’t defend Diddy but he didn’t trash him either.
“At the end of the day, a lot of things is accusations. We don’t know if it’s true or if it’s not. I’m not the one to say what’s true and what’s not. But I hope everyone finds comfort, finds peace. And that’s how I see it,” Lil Cease told TMZ.
Lil Cease rose to fame as a member of Junior M.A.F.I.A., a group put together by The Notorious B.I.G. in the early ’90s. The group included members such as himself, Lil’ Kim, Trife, Larceny of The Snakes, Capone, Bugz, Mc Klepto, Nino Brown, Chico Del Vec, and Banger.
The group hit big with the classics “Players Anthem” and “Get Money” featuring Notorious B.I.G. from their debut album Conspiracy in 1995. They disbanded after the murder of B.I.G. in March 1997.
This association with Hip-Hop royalty positioned Cease amid the genre’s golden era, not just as a witness but as an active participant.
Toward the end of the interview, Lil Cease revealed a documentary that will delve into Junior M.A.F.I.A.’s intricate history and behind-the-scenes stories is on the way, promising an enriching narrative on one of Hip-Hop’s most revered collectives.
“It’s a documentary we got to working on, a M.A.F.I.A documentary. It’s going to tell our trials and tribulations and our love for each other. We are [also] working on some things as far as the MAFIA the group,” Lil Cease revealed.
