Rihanna, already a global icon in music and fashion, is now reveling in her role as a mother.
During an interview with NBC, the 36-year-old pop superstar opened up about navigating life with her two young sons, RZA, 2, and Riot, 1, whom she shares with rapper A$AP Rocky.
“It’s fun,” she said. “I literally enjoy it so much… I am just looking at them and living through them, and I’m amazed by every new discovery of theirs, even their boundaries.”
Balancing joy with the everyday challenges of raising two boys, Rihanna spoke about how parenthood is a learning process for both her and her children.
“They’re teaching me how to be their mom as much as I’m teaching them how to be in this world,” she revealed.
But even as her toddlers explore the world, sibling rivalry has already reared its head.
“It’s just hard to share toys and pacifiers,” Rihanna noted, adding that RZA shows a protective side whenever his baby brother cries. “He’s worried. He loves him, but it’s hard.”
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have been together since 2021.
Their relationship grew from a deep friendship, with A$AP recently reflecting on their long history in a profile for W Magazine.
The rapper revealed that he knew early on that Rihanna was someone he wanted to start a family with.
“I knew from when we were younger. We both did, I think. So it was only right when we got older. We just kind of reconnected.”
Donald Trump’s rally in Coachella Valley was abruptly disrupted after law enforcement arrested a man suspected of planning to assassinate the former president.
Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies stopped 49-year-old Vem Miller on Saturday (October 12) at a checkpoint about a mile from the event, where the suspect was reportedly carrying a shotgun, loaded handgun and high-capacity magazine.
Fake media credentials and VIP passes also raised authorities’ suspicions.
According to law enforcement, the Las Vegas resident is believed to be linked to a far-right anti-government group and had intentions to kill Trump.
“We probably stopped another assassination attempt,” Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco said, emphasizing the importance of the intervention.
Deputies’ attention was first drawn to the counterfeit documents that Miller had, which appeared convincing but “unusual enough to cause alarm,” Bianco explained in a statement to the Riverside Press-Enterprise.
Authorities said Miller was intercepted before he could make it close to the rally venue.
He’s now facing multiple weapons charges, including possession of a high-capacity magazine and illegal possession of firearms, and is being held at a local detention center.
Law enforcement officials are continuing their investigation into Miller’s possible motives and affiliations, but as of now, no further plot details have been revealed.
The Trump campaign has yet to issue any remarks regarding the potential threat, and it remains unclear how the incident will affect future rallies.
Though this is the third reported assassination attempt against the former president, his rallies have continued to draw large crowds across the country. Saturday’s event in Southern California attracted thousands of attendees despite tight security measures.
But many attendees were left stranded after buses Trump promised would take them back to their cars failed to arrive.
Christian Combs was spotted blowing off steam with his girlfriend at the club just days after his father, Sean “Diddy” Combs, appeared in court.
In footage circulating online, Christian is seen dancing with girlfriend Raven Tracy and pouring a shot into her mouth. At one point, Christian talks directly into the camera, stating, “I got the baddest girl in the world.”
On Thursday (October 10), Christian Combs was joined by siblings Quincy Brown, 33, Justin Combs, 30, Chance Combs, 18, and twins Jessie and D’Lila Combs, 17, at their father’s court appearance. The embattled mogul’s mother, Janice Combs, was also at the hearing to support her son, who she believes “is not the monster they have painted him to be.”
In a statement, Janice Combs said her son had “made mistakes in his past” but believes he’s being judged unfairly.
At the hearing, Diddy was ordered to remain behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn despite offering a $50 million bond with GPS monitoring and visitor restrictions. His trial is scheduled to begin in May 2025.
Meanwhile, in a recent legal filing, Diddy’s attorneys condemned the Department for Homeland Security over the “brutal” raids of his homes, particularly calling out the “excessive force” used against his sons Chrisitan and Justin.
“One agent held a semi-automatic rifle to the head of Christian Combs,” the filing notes. “Another agent had a semiautomatic rifle with a laser site trained, and the orange dot visible, on the middle of the chest of Justin Combs.”
Azealia Banks went off on Julia Fox over remarks she made about her brief relationship with Kanye West.
During a recent interview, Fox expressed regret over dating the rapper, claiming she was “used as a pawn,” during their weeks-long romance.
Sharing her reaction online, Banks dragged Fox before criticizing Kanye West for dating white girls.
“GIRL.. You literally were contracted for this Job thru a celebrity Madam in miami,” Banks began. “You knewwwwww u was there to be a comfort girl. Calling urself a “pawn” is giving urself waaaay too much credit… u wasn’t even on the chessboard sis. Lmaooo how long is this b#### gonna ride this ‘I ate chicken Alfredo with Kanye and he got me second hand birkin from @therealreal brick and mortar store,’ s### out?? B#### flew to Los Angeles and was flocking the streets looking for him while he was at nobu with drake. Lmao these white women are something else.”

The polarizing rapper continued her rant, adding, “Kanye better learn his lesson about these white girls. In a recent interview for The Times’ Weekend Magazine, Fox claimed West went public about the relationship without her knowledge.
“I regret that relationship so much. I hate it! It was only a few weeks but enough to last me a lifetime,” she said. “I was in probably the most uncomfortable position in my life and that’s saying a lot. I don’t want to be known for being anyone’s girlfriend.”
Banks’ tirade continued, calling Fox a “famewhore” who wouldn’t stop talking publicly about Ye. She also called out Fox over alleged drug abuse before urging “Kanye stop promising b###### birkins.”

Slim Thug believes men will no longer need women once robots become commonplace, envisioning a world free from women “trying to take me down.”
Last week, co-founder and CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk, shared a glimpse of the future, unveiling his new Optimus robot alongside other prototypes, including a self-driving robotaxi and autonomous Robovan.
The cutting-edge technology has Slim Thug looking forward to a future free from women with “an attitude” believing once robots can cook and clean, women will be surplus to requirements.
“I’m looking forward to this free time that come with having a robot and being able to live a real life and spend time with family,” he explained during a recent Instagram Live. “I’m looking forward to good help. Real help. Help without an attitude.”
He continued, adding that robots come without “feelings” and “b#######” and, unlike women, are not “trying to take me down.”
Furthermore, Slim Thug believes women are concerned they will be replaced by robots.
“A lot of women scared too, fellas because that’s the little s### they do, this robot is finna do that s###. They going to have to really come with something now,” he added. “I got a robot cook for me and clean and do all that so what I need you for?”
Slim Thug On “Girl Robots”
In addition to cooking and cleaning, Slim Thug thinks androids will soon take over from women in the bedroom.
“What you think them girl robots going to be able to do?” he said. “You know that Elon and them got something good for us. if not Elon, China.”
Slim Thug isn’t the only rapper excited by Elon Musk’s robots, Boosie Badazz was also signing the billionaire’s praises.
“I WANNA MEET @elonmusk HE REALLY CHANGING THE WORLD,” he tweeted. “LOOKING AT THESE ROBOTS ITS LIKE ME WATCHING ROBOCOP AS A KID ‼️I WANNA SEE HOW THEY MAKE THESE ROBOTS FRFR.”
DaBaby is laughing off his legal troubles after facing a $4 million lawsuit from the brother of his ex-girlfriend and mother of his child DaniLeigh, who claims the rapper assaulted him at a bowling alley in 2022.
The North Carolina rapper taunted Brandon Bills over the lawsuit during a recent interview with Bootleg Kev.
“I don’t know nothing about it man,” he said in response to a question about the lawsuit. When the host said, “he threatened you on the internet and then approached you after he threatened you,” DaBaby replied, “I don’t see that going well for the man.”
Furthermore, DaBaby, who claims he acted in self-defense, believes Bills will be saddled with his attorney’s fees once he loses the lawsuit.
“Threatening me on camera with all the different platforms out here,” he continued. “It just don’t make sense. You going to have to pay them lawyer fees, my boy. They gon’ make you pay them too, they ain’t making me pay.”
DaBaby concluded, “That’s going to be the easiest case I ever had to beat.”
Brandon Bills is reportedly suing DaBaby $2 million in general damages and an additional $2 million for special damages. He claims the rapper attacked him for “no reason,” resulting in “severe injuries, psychological damage, and medical bills.”
Back in 2022, DaBaby’s attorney, Drew Findling, dismissed the lawsuit as a “money grab”
“It is offensive that this alleged victim threatened and instigated violence and has now used this incident to make a quick money grab,” Findling said. “Garbage like this has no place adding to the backlog and wasting law enforcement time and energy.”
Rick Ross has a new girlfriend in his life, and he’s not holding back, icing her out in diamonds and taking her on romantic trips on his boat.
The MMG honcho appears to have been single following his split from Cristina Mackey earlier this year following a brief relationship. While he’s since been linked to several women, it appears Rick Ross only has eyes for one, cosmetics brand owner Justice J Williams.
Williams took to her Instagram Story on Sunday (October 13), posting highlights of her date with Ross. She shared a cute black and white video of Rozay smiling and kissing on her neck. “Me & mine,” she wrote on the video. Williams also shared an image of a sparkling diamond necklace, thanking her “baby” for the gift, noting, “it’s not even my birthday.”
Meanwhile, Rick Ross hasn’t been shy in letting the world know exactly how he feels about his new boo. He’s been gushing over his new girlfriend in the comment sections of her recent Instagram posts, dropping red heart emojis and calling her “mine” in one.
“Can’t nobody fck w you J,” he wrote on another post. “Rolex watch and jersey is [fire] tho.”
Meanwhile, last week, Ross’ ex-girlfriend Cristina Mackey claimed their relationship was the product of divine intervention. Mackey explained that she was destined to live in Miami, and her relationship with Ross was part of God’s plan to bring her there.
“I just feel like God was like, ‘I need you to date this person real quick so I can get you where you need to go’,” she shared on IG Live. “’You need to be in this city.’”
Nicki Minaj may be taking a hiatus after wrapping the North America leg of her record-breaking Pink Friday 2 World Tour.
After kicking off the tour in March, Minaj closed out with a star-studded final concert at the UBS Arena on Friday (October 11), with appearances from 50 Cent, Sexyy Red, Young M.A, Skillibeng and more at “Gag City Queens.”
After traveling across the country and performing all over Europe, Nicki Minaj has been hinting at a “hiatus” once the tour ends. However, it appears she is still undecided about taking a break.
On Sunday (October 13), Nicki Minaj was on Stationhead chopping it up with her fans when she announced she would be taking a breather after a few more engagements.
I am doing a hiatus,” she confirmed. “But I have the Vogue thing, which I’m very proud and honored to do, and a couple things and then I’ll be taking a little moment to reflect.”
Nicki Minaj Seemingly Backtracks On Hiatus Plans
However, the NYC rapper had seemingly changed her mind just a few hours later.
“Ain’t going no mthfkn where,” Nicki Minaj wrote in response to a post announcing her hiatus. “Kiss my ass & HIATUS LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.”
In a follow up post, Minaj added, “We don’t announce the hiatus Barbz. Crack is whack. We don’t do that.”
Minaj was celebrating the success of her tour over the weekend, reacting to a tweet from Live Nation stating that the tour had “visited 16 countries, 26 states, sold out 50 shows, welcomed over 785,000 fans” and had become “the highest selling female rap tour of all time” in just eight months.
“Barbz. Wow. We did it,” Minaj wrote. “Emotional (to say the least). I love you ALL so much. Every single person who came out- from our very 1st show— every country— my incredible team.”
Read that 2nd billboard, Barbz. Wow. We did it. 🫶🏽 Emotional (to say the least). I love you ALL so much. Every single person who came out- from our very 1st show— every country— my incredible team

Cardi B has sworn off alcohol after partying a little too hard on her birthday over the weekend.
The NYC rapper celebrated turning 32 with a lively party that saw her downing shots and turning up with her friends amid her ongoing divorce. Although Cardi B ran into her estranged husband, Offset, during a recent night out, it appears he wasn’t at her birthday bash. Footage from the night surfaced online of Cardi B playing bartender and even buying shots for everybody in the club.
However, it was a different story the following day, with Cardi B expressing regret and vowing never to drink again. In a video posted on her Instagram Stories, a disheveled Cardi groans into the camera, makeup still on.
“I will never, ever drink again,” she said in another video before asking her fans to pray for her.
The Grammy Award winner also shared a screenshot of a text exchange with a friend who informed Cardi that she drank an entire bottle of liquor at her party. Cardi revealed she was throwing up all the way to the afterparty before joking that she wanted to have her sister Hennesey kicked out of the country.
Cardi B Reveals The Origins Of Her Birthday Dress
Meanwhile, Cardi B explained how she came to be wearing her “little thotty dress,” revealing she bought it from the strip club she used to work at before the fame.
“The dress I was gonna wear for my birthday was a little too small and there wasn’t enough fabric,” she revealed. “So I got my ass in a truck and went to Staten dolls gentlemen’s club where I worked at for four years and bought this little dress because baby NOTHING was gonna stop this night… I love the fact that they don’t see me like CARDI B.. they still treat me like CAMILLA (Fun fact.. that was my stripper name).”
Carlos Coy, better known as Houston rapper South Park Mexican (SPM), had a parole hearing on Monday (October 7). Coy has been behind the four walls of a Texas prison for nearly 23 years after he was convicted of aggravated sexual assault of a minor in 2002.
AllHipHop spoke to a representative at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, who confirmed Coy’s hearing did take place. The rep noted, “The offender is currently in the Parole Review Process,” meaning they have yet to come to a decision.
“The parole review process begins approximately six months before the parole eligibility date for a first review and four months before the eligibility date in additional reviews,” the website explains. “The process begins with the offender’s file being reviewed for all appropriate documents, including letters of support and protest. An Institutional Parole Officer reviews the file and interviews the offender before preparing a case summary for the Board voting panel. The Board normally will vote on the case just prior to the parole eligibility date.
“Offenders eligible for mandatory supervision who committed an offense since September 1, 1996 are reviewed for Discretionary Mandatory Supervision (DMS). An offender who has received a Serve All vote is reviewed for possible release to DMS by a Board panel prior to being released on the projected release date.”
According to inmate records, Coy—45— is currently housed in The W. F. Ramsey Unit, a Texas Department of Criminal Justice prison farm located in unincorporated Brazoria County, Texas, with a Rosharon postal address. He was sentenced on May 5, 2002 and his projected release date is April 8, 2047—that is, unless he’s granted parole. Records also state he’s “temporarily ineligible” for visitation although it’s unclear why.
The sexual assault took place in 2001, when the 9-year-old victim was spending the night at Coy’s Houston house over Labor Day weekend. He was arrested on September 25, 2001 and released on $30,000 bond. Coy then surrendered to authorities less than a year later after the Harris County District Attorney’s office filed assault charges against him for taking two 14-year-old fans to a North Houston motel.
One of the girls claimed they had intercourse, although the case was eventually dismissed. Coy also had a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl, who birthed his son. In total, he had sexual encounters with at least six underage girls.
Despite the seriousness of the charges, fans of Coy remain loyal. Under his SPM moniker, he released several popular albums, including Hillwood (1995) and The Purity Album (2000). Some of his most well known songs include “Mexican Radio,” “Wiggy Wiggy,” “You Know My Name” and “Broadway.”
Before Chuck D was the commanding voice behind Public Enemy, he was a promoter and radio DJ.
In the early ’80s, The Fearless Four—comprised of Microphone Wizard DLB, Mighty Mike C, Devastating Tito, The Great Peso and DJs Krazy Eddie and Master OC—were just young kids enamored with Hip-Hop culture. Chuck booked the burgeoning Harlem group at a roller rink called The Subway in Long Island, where they saw the impact of their 1982 Hip-Hop classic, “Rockin’ It.”
“It was one of the first times we performed ‘Rockin’ It,'” DLB tells AllHipHop. “It was Hank Shocklee and Chuck D’s promotions. Mike C touched this girl while we was doing ‘Rockin’ It’ and she fainted. I thought that was movie stuff that was fake. This girl fainted. And for whatever reason, they had a big bass bottom speaker out and we had to jump over the speaker to get to the stage. When we jumped over the speaker, I guess the crowd thought like, ‘Oh, it’s about to go down!’ And they lost their minds. I’m thinking to myself, ‘Yo, this is for us?!'”
Despite their disbelief, the fanfare was for them. “Rockin It,” which samples Kraftwerk’s 1978 single “The Man-Machine,” was later featured in the iconic Hip-Hop film Style Wars, further extending the song’s influence.
“It happened overnight,” Mike C says of the song’s popularity. “As soon as it came out, it blew up. Mr. Magic started playing it first on WBLS.”
But not everybody was able to revel in its success right away. “I was 16 when ‘Rockin’ It’ dropped and I missed the trip to Boston to perform it because I was in the hospital having an appendectomy. I had the nurse kick Mike C out of the hospital room because he and Kool Moe Dee came in making me laugh and I busted my stitches.”
Surprisingly, there was a resounding “it didn’t” from DLB, Mike C and Tito when asked how the song changed their life financially, but what it did do was make them famous. It also led to them being the first rap group signed to a major record label (Elektra Asylum) in 1983.
“We would go to different venues and totally different states or whatever, and people would be singing along,” Mike recalls. “It was a hood song only known in our neighborhood, but now it was real. They were chasing us through the streets like we’re the Beatles.”
It also gave DLB the self-esteem he was lacking. As he explains, “I’m not speaking for everybody, it gave me a wealth of confidence.Truth be told, I was not a very confident teenager. Even when I was becoming DLB of the Fearless Four, I was still Mr. Freddy’s son. My name was never my name for me until Mike C scooped me up, along with Tito, and put me on the stage at our junior high school.”
It’s the same building in New York City where DLB is currently assistant principal. Now known as the Urban Assembly Academy for Future Leaders, it was called Junior High 43 back then.
More than 40 years after “Rockin It” put them on the map, the original lineup had a chance to reunite for a performance at the Blue Gallery in NYC last month. It was admittedly an emotional moment for everyone involved.
“I love them and it never stops, right?” Tito says. “So my thing is, my last memory will always be like the beginning. When I see them again, it’s like that’s it. I’m in mode already. I seen them the day before and said, ‘Yo, this is what we’re doing.’ I never lost a step. Whether it be 50 years from the last time I seen them, it’s just the way I am. I stay connected.”
The reunion show was so powerful, in fact, it prompted them to get back in the studio.
“We’re back in the studio working on new material,” Mike C confirms. “A lot of people have been asking for us. Throughout the years, it’s always been, ‘We want to see the the original Fearless four members together.’ We’ve been getting that our whole career, so now is the time. It’s put up or shut up. Everybody been asking for us, we here now. We’re ready to do it. We got some good material to work on.”
DLB adds, “We’re already making plans, even if we have to do Airbnbs and whatnot for all of us to get together to pull this off. That’s what it’s going to look like. We’re going to have a little Fearless boot camp where, like I said, we’re going to rent us an Airbnb and throw these things together.”
Until then, revisit “Rockin It” above and check back with AllHipHop soon for Part II of The Fearless Four interview.
Former President Barack Obama is getting scorched by Black men who support President Donald Trump after he discussed his concerns that gender biases and misinformation may be influencing their attitudes.
He emphasized that it was not merely a matter of policy but possibly a deeper discomfort with the idea of a woman ascending to the nation’s highest office.
“Part of it makes me think that you just aren’t feeling the idea of having a woman as president, and you’re coming up with other alternatives and other reasons for that,” Obama said during his remarks.
The former president argued that it isn’t acceptable to mask such discomfort as political debate and instead urged men to critically analyze their reasons for possibly staying home on Election Day or casting a vote for former President Trump, who has a history of controversial racial remarks.
Obama went on to challenge perceptions of Donald Trump, particularly the notion embraced by some that the former president represents strength.
“I’m sorry, gentlemen. I’ve noticed this, especially with some men who seem to think Trump’s behavior, the bullying and the putting people down is a sign of strength. I am here to tell you that is not what real strength is and has never been,” Obama said.
The former commander-in-chief pointedly questioned how some voters interpret Trump’s legal troubles and posturing as qualities of leadership, especially in communities historically affected by systemic injustice.
Obama’s comments come as Democrats express concern over a gradual erosion of support among Black men, a crucial voting bloc in tight races throughout key battleground states.
Obama called on Black men to engage, vote and be a part of electing the nation’s first female president – an opportunity he described as historically significant.
Obama’s remarks were mixed, especially on social media platform X, where some critics suggested his tone was condescending.
Others praised Obama for calling out Trump and his racist overtones.
Black men and women, please say it isn't true. Are you really upset with Obama for advising us on the importance of this election? I can't believe you would support a White man, granting him immunity for his actions and reinforcing White privilege, while ignoring his history of…
It’s interesting that Barack Obama will challenge black men on behalf of white people, but I’ve never seen him challenge white people on behalf of black men.

With the election just weeks away, Donald Trump is putting in every effort to secure votes—even at the expense of marginalized communities. On Sunday (October 13), the divisive and controversial politician posted a video to his Twitter (X) account depicting his vision for the United States military.
Using clips of the 1987 film Full Metal Jacket to represent Trump’s “macho” version for the military, the clip peppers in alleged service men in drag to represent “Comrade” Kamala Harris’ military. The video also includes a clip of Rachel Levine, a transgender woman who serves in the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps as part of Biden’s administration. Trump wrote in the caption, “WE WILL NOT HAVE A WOKE MILITARY!”
Of course the comments section was littered with differing opinions. Those in favor of Trump wrote things like, “It’s no mystery why over 100,000 people showed up to your California rally today! It’s because WE THE PEOPLE love you! I turned 18 years old in August and CAN’T WAIT to cast my FIRST EVER VOTE FOR YOU this November!” Elon Musk, who owns Twitter (X), chimed in with, “Absolutely. The military’s job is to defend America, not engage in social activism.”
Those opposing Trump offered remarks like, “Trump wouldn’t have lasted one day in boot camp,” “I would expect nothing less from a rapist commander-in-chief” and, perhaps most importantly, “@realDonaldTrump. You’re the bone-spur draft dodger who called our POWs and fallen soldiers “losers”, the same brave men and women who gave their lives defending this country. You have no right to speak. You even tried to scrap the very Constitution you swore to protect, all because you couldn’t handle losing an election. So, sit down.”
The presidential election takes place November 7. Harris entered the race after President Joe Biden announced he would not be seeking a second term, prompting Democrats to spring into action. A new CNN Poll of Polls average of national polling finds an average of 50 percent of likely voters supporting Harris and 47 percent backing Trump, making it an extremely tight race. Every vote counts. Register here.
Arsenio Hall recently opened up about his experiences attending parties thrown by Sean “Diddy” Combs, offering some surprising insights, including an incident where former President Trump defended Diddy from Aubrey O’Day.
Arsenio Hall shared the story during an interview on the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast, describing the range of Diddy’s parties—from family-friendly events to more notorious, after-hours gatherings.
“I’ve seen Diddy parties where children were there,” Hall explained, clarifying that not all of the legendary mogul’s gatherings are the wild events people often imagine.
“For instance, you use a person’s home and their family is in the home, so it’s fun, legitimate, 8:00 p.m.,? Lots of food and music,” Arsenio Hall said.
However, Hall also acknowledged that Diddy’s events sometimes took a different turn after hours.
“I’ve also seen the ones that last longer than eight or nine,” he said knowingly.
While Hall humorously dodged confirming whether he attended any of the more scandalous “Freak Offs,” he joked about his strategy for avoiding trouble.
“My secret has always been, first of all, I don’t go anywhere without my woman,” Hall said, laughing.
“If you have the rule of not going anywhere alone, you don’t get in as much trouble. It’s very rarely does somebody say, ‘Yeah, me and my boys were hanging out and I end up with a dick in my ass,’ you know? It rarely happens.”
The conversation took an unexpected turn when Arsenio Hall recalled a moment involving Trump during Hall’s time on the reality show Celebrity Apprentice.
He described a behind-the-scenes exchange between Trump and fellow contestant Aubrey O’Day.
Aubrey O’Day rose to fame as part of Danity Kane, the girl group formed during the Diddy-produced Making the Band reality series.
O’Day previously alleged that her withdrawal from Danity Kane was due to her refusal to meet Combs’ expectations, which went beyond her talent.
Additionally, O’Day swore that Combs often commented about her physical appearance and evaluated her looks.
“She says some negative things about Diddy, and I’m listening. Trump chimes in and defends Diddy and that surprised me because usually Trump don’t defend nobody but himself,” Hall revealed.
Hall recounted Trump offering Diddy his full support.
“For him to speak up and say, ‘Well, I like him, he’s a good guy. I’ve never had a problem.’ He gives him a full-throated vote of character.” Hall said.
On the other hand, O’Day strongly disagreed, calling Diddy a “horrible person.”
It was a moment that stuck with Hall, who concluded, “I had no idea one day this was going to play out in real-time. But Trump liked Diddy.”
Thank you for being here today, and for staying through all our incredible speakers. Today, we’re here to talk about something so important—something that goes to the heart of who we are. I’m not going to speak too long because I think a lot of what needed to be said has already been covered. But let’s get into it.
First of all, we’re always tapped into what’s happening. Whether you realize it or not, Hip-Hop has always been affected by the biggest challenges we face. We’ve always spoken up. Today, I wonder about some of these young rappers and where the voices for change are. We used to put our struggles into records that people couldn’t ignore—there was always a message. There’s a reason why I chose the name “Queen Latifah.” It was a statement that every woman should be treated like a queen, respected, and protected.
I want to say something to our Black men. I love y’all. I need you to hold us down, lift us up, and protect us. We’re not separate. Don’t let anyone come between us. But understand this: I will be respected. We need to respect each other and stand strong together.
Thinking back on my journey, I remember my mother, who went to college right here. She wanted to be an educator, and she cared deeply about every single student she taught. My mom knew their names, where they came from, and their stories—whether they were from here or from countries far away. This is America—a nation of immigrants, and a nation built by formerly enslaved people. We have a right to be here. We built this.
One of our greatest powers is our right to vote. That’s not something everyone in this world has. In some places, you’re told what to do, what to eat, where to live, and who to love. But that’s not America—not in my house, and I hope not in yours. Yet, if we’re not vigilant, if we don’t exercise our right to vote, those freedoms could slip away. There are those who want to tell us who we can love, who we can be, and what we can believe. I say, “I don’t think so.”
I know there are people who haven’t registered to vote yet. I understand, sometimes you might think, “Does my vote really matter?” But let me tell you, if your vote didn’t matter, they wouldn’t work so hard to suppress it. They wouldn’t be trying to make it harder for you to vote. So, register, make sure you know your deadlines, and show up.
When you register to vote, you’re not just standing up for yourself. You’re standing up for the children who need Head Start, for the next generation that deserves a quality education. You’re standing up for every right we hold dear. When did we get to the point where being educated is a bad thing? When did it become a negative to know our own history?
There’s so much we can accomplish if we move as one. We are human beings first, and we have to come together. We have the power to create real change if we work together, if we respect each other, and if we value each other’s contributions.
We’ve seen what division looks like, and I don’t want to go back to that. I don’t need anyone telling me what to do and who to be. We don’t need a dictator. We need unity, and we need the strength of our community. And the only way to ensure that is to vote.
So, I’m asking you, register to vote. Use your voice. It’s your power. It’s our power. Let’s go out there, let’s register, let’s vote, and let’s change this world. Thank you so much.

Hip-Hop icon and actress Queen Latifah has made her political views clear, taking a stand against Donald Trump while endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris for president.
During a speech at New Jersey’s Essex County College, the Queen emphasized the importance of voting, particularly for young people, while advocating for U.N.I.T.Y. and change in America. Other speakers included Newark, NJ mayor Ras Baraka, activist Tamika Mallory, congressman Andy Kim and others like congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman. Singer Honey Bxby performed the national anthem and her song “Touchin’.” Vinnie “Vin Rock” Brown, AHH’s Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur and numerous others were in attendance.
During her address, Queen Latifah urged an audience of about 1,000 to register to vote and participate in the upcoming election, reminding them of the impact their voices can have.
She also expressed concerns about the potential return of Trump, likening his presidency to an “abusive relationship” that she does not want to revisit. Latifah recounted the chaos and division of Trump’s time in office, suggesting that the country needs a leader who can bring people together.
“I don’t want to go back to that,” Latifah stated. “I don’t need anyone telling me what to do and who to be. We don’t need a dictator. We need unity, and we need the strength of our community.”
Queen Latifah’s endorsement of Kamala Harris also carried a hopeful tone, as she described Harris as “the next great leader” of the United States. Latifah expressed her enthusiasm for Harris’s candidacy, highlighting the Vice President’s commitment to social justice and equality, causes that resonate deeply with the East Orange native’s values.
“I’m going to have the first woman president of these United States,” Latifah declared. She encouraged her audience to support Harris, underscoring the historic nature of her candidacy and the significance of electing a leader who embodies the progress that America needs.
The 54-year old also said that voting is not just a right that can shape the future of the nation. She warned against complacency and voter apathy, telling the enthusiastic audience of extreme efforts historically to suppress the Black vote and other marginalized communities.
“Your vote is your power,” Latifah urged. “If it didn’t matter, they wouldn’t try so hard to take it away from you.”

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s 11-year-old daughter, North West, didn’t hold back during an interview for Interview magazine’s 55th-anniversary issue.
North playfully called out Kim for her lack of time in the kitchen, a lighthearted dig that added a dose of family banter to the interview.
“You haven’t cooked for us in a long time. Last time you cooked was two Halloweens ago!” North quipped when her mom asked, “How’s my cooking?”
The interview offered a rare glimpse into how North deals with fame while still trying to enjoy a sense of normalcy.
She mentioned that when she’s with friends, she sometimes uses the alias “Katie Johnson” to avoid unwanted attention.
“My friends call me that so people don’t know who I am,” North revealed.
While chatting with her mother, North also expressed her disdain for paparazzi intrusions.
“I like taking pictures of myself, but I don’t like when paparazzi do,” North said when her mom asked if she enjoys being on camera.
She elaborated: “When I just woke up and there’s so much paparazzi, I’m like, ‘Yo, I’m going to sue you.’ If I’m ready, if I’m not tired, if my outfit’s good, I’m like, ‘Okay, I could take a picture.'”
North, the eldest child of Kim and her ex-husband Kanye West, has lived in the public eye her entire life.
Along with North, the former couple shares three other children—Saint, 8; Chicago, 6; and Psalm, 5—each having a relationship with fame but nowhere near North’s experience under the spotlight.
Jamie Foxx made a return to the standup scene in Atlanta where he shared insights into his 2023 health ordeal.
The actor and comedian took center stage in a three-day solo act recorded for a Netflix special titled “What Had Happened Was.”
Speaking to CBS Mornings’ Gayle King, Foxx opened up about turning his mysterious health scare from April the previous year into comedic material.
“It was an excruciating time, opening those wounds every single day,” Foxx said.
He noted the inherent risk in mixing humor with personal pain: “We’ve got a great show in the room, but we don’t know what they may laugh at, or what they may not laugh at.”
Foxx had hinted at this deeply personal show on Instagram, promising an evening full of laughter, emotion, and encouragement.
His stand-up routine brought a blend of tears and joy, leaving King in awe: “I’d never seen a show where the audience is laughing and crying at the same time,” she praised, adding, “Only you could’ve done that.”
Concluding the event, Foxx lifted a glass to his family and friends, expressing optimism for the future. “Let’s sit back, watch it, and build toward a newer, brighter and healthier future,” he toasted.
Fans are eagerly awaiting more information on when the special will stream.
OnlyFans, the UK-based video streaming platform notorious for its adult content, has been pouring billions into the pockets of its creators.
Since its launch in 2016, the app has paid out a jaw-dropping $20 billion to over 4 million content creators, according to Chief Executive Officer Keily Blair, who spoke at Bloomberg’s Screentime conference in Los Angeles. The cash flow isn’t coming from advertisers—OnlyFans doesn’t accept advertising or track its customers—but from subscriptions, pay-per-view events, and tips. The platform’s 400 million users are free to spend big on their favorite creators, fueling a goldmine of personalized content.
Blair explained that over half of the company’s revenue comes from micro-transactions, a strategy that’s working wonders for the app. “P### is free on the internet,” Blair said. “I think the reason why people pay for OnlyFans is because they want to engage with those particular creators. It’s because of the ability to customize as well as to ask for specific content.” This level of interaction and customization has set OnlyFans apart from other social media platforms, which have struggled to make subscription models work.
In an attempt to broaden its appeal beyond adult content, OnlyFans has even started offering grants to musicians and other entertainers. The company promoted Blair to CEO in 2023 to further push its move into mainstream entertainment.
The platform’s lucrative model has made millionaires out of some of its top creators. High earners include viral star Daniel “Cash Me Outside” Bregoli and rapper Iggy Azalea, both of whom have capitalized on their massive followings. According to a recent report from TMZ, Bhad Bhabie has disclosed her staggering earnings from OnlyFans, surpassing an impressive $57 million since 2021. Sources confirm the authenticity of these earnings, with receipts backing up the claims.
