Akon Responds To Suge Knight’s Claim He Sexually Assaulted 13-Year-Old Girl

Although currently incarcerated, Suge Knight still finds a way to generate headlines from behind bars. The former Death Row Records CEO recently launched his Collect Call podcast and he used the program to make some serious accusations against Akon.

“I wasn’t going to bring it up,” Knight stated. “One of my homegirls, she was a hustler. She had a little sister, 13 years old. Her best friend was 12 years old. She’s in the car with him. You and Detail call her. And she said, ‘I got my little sister and her best friend with me.’ I said, ‘Well, then stop by for a second.’”

According to Knight, Akon told the woman she could leave her little sister and her friend in a hotel room with him and Grammy-winning record producer Detail. Multiple women have accused Detail of sexual assault beginning in 2018.

“Akon, you f###ed a little girl, 13,” Knight said. “Detail, you f###ed a little girl, 12 years old. Y’all basically raped them.”

Akon pushed back on Knight’s accusatory comments. The “Locked Up” hitmaker addressed those allegations by responding to a Collect Call clip on the X platform.

“The world knows a lie when they hear it,” Akon tweeted. “It’s unfortunate that this man is going out like this. It’s sad and seriously embarrassing. Regardless of our history, I’m still going to be praying for him.”

Lil Kim Overcomes Wardrobe Malfunction By Tossing Her Panties Into The Crowd At ONE Musicfest

Lil Kim knows how to make the best of a bad situation, as fans at ONE Musicfest soon discovered.

The NYC icon was performing at the Atlanta festival over the weekend (October 28) when something went wrong during her set. She was sashaying across the stage when she suddenly realized her panties began slipping down.

However, instead of feeling embarrassed or rushing backstage to fix her outfit, Lil Kim embraced the moment.

“What do I got for y’all next?” she asked, teasing the crowd. “Panties coming down.” She then stepped out of her underwear, which by then had fallen to her ankles. The audience were barely able to take in what was happening before she made her next move.

“How about this?” she said as she launched her panties into the crowd. Check out the video below.

Footage of Lil Kim launching her panties into the crowd began circulating online, with fans giving it a mixed response.

“Okay but when I’m in the building I don’t get no panties thrown at me I’m jealous,” one fan wrote. “You wanna Bee’z betta not talk to me for the rest of the year until I get some Lil’Kim panties.” Another added, “I want them panties period prob smell like starburst.”

Others were not so enthusiastic over the underwear saga. “Idk but something about lil Kim throwin her panties in the audience don’t sit right with me,” one X user penned. “2023 Lil Kim panties hit me in the crowd and imma be irritated,” one person agreed.

Aye Verb’s Diss Track Call Out Gets Talib Kweli Response: “This Is A Clout Chase”

Talib Kweli is going back and forth with Aye Verb after being challenged to a battle. The St. Louis battle rapper appeared on a recent episode of Math Hoffa’s My Expert Opinion podcast He brought up his beef with the Black Star rapper and challenged him to put his abilities to the test.

“He can’t do nothing with me,” Verb declared before adding, “Set up a date.” When fellow battle rapper Swave Sevah said Kweli would “Find every excuse not to” battle him, Verb said he would “come to his world” and get on a track.

Aye Verb also insisted he wasn’t sleeping on Kweli but said he’s no competition.

“Eh Talib, we could suit up. We’ll drop it the same day at the same time, “ he offered. “I been with the greatest rappers on this planet, in their faces. We ain’t worried about them n#####. They play with pads on. We ain’t got no pads on.”

Verb continued, claiming industry artists aren’t as skilled as battle rappers. “Y’all can’t f### with us in no shape, fashion or form,” he added. “We coming to take something from you. Y’all trying to survive, we gonna take that. The thing that makes us special is we dogs.”

Once Kweli caught wind of the call out, he couldn’t help himself from questioning why Math Hoffa gave Aye Verb a platform. Also, big surprise, he aligned him with Nazis.

“Ayo @math.hoffa the most important question is missing here,” he wrote on Instagram. “That’s “why?” Why do these goofies you giving space to have an issue with me? For what reason? I don’t know these dudes. This corny as f###.”

Kweli also accused Verb of being in league with “a white nazi troll who supports Trump and the Proud Boys.”  Verb responded in the comments section, telling Kweli, “you need your meds,” and claimed he makes more money from rapping.

Kweli pushed back, calling Verb a liar and declaring, “I been relevant and viable since 97. I’m a published author. I speak at universities. My catalog crazy. My name come out the mouth of legends.”

He told Verb, “We are not the same. This is a clout chase.”

Emmy-Winning Actor Jharrel Jerome Rebukes Drake Comparisons For His Own Hip-Hop Stake

As Hip-Hop celebrates and expands during its 50th year, Jharrel Jerome stands as one of the shining, hopeful lights to a culture standing at a crossroads. The award-winning actor is an unlikely candidate for such a distinction, but give him a shot. Hip-Hop has permeated American culture so much that it’s no longer taboo for a rapper or an actor to bounce back and forth between disciplines. Jerome’s love for Hip-Hop and acting blossomed at the same time, with one garnering him worldwide success. Unlike other MCs, he brings depth and meaning to his music, similarly to roles like “When They See Us,” “Moonlight,” “Concrete Cowboy” and, most recently, the TV series “I Am Virgo.”

Speaking to AllHipHop.com, Jerome addresses being called “the next” Drake or J. Cole, stating he’s constantly evolving and learning as an artist. The Bronx native stresses he’s not chasing streaming numbers or fame but earning respect from his audience. Talking to Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur, he underscores the interconnectedness of acting and music, freestyling, character portrayal and lyrical flows.

On top of it all, Jerome shares his dreams—collaborations with Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Jazmine Sullivan and more. Jerome certainly has the potential to be a future goat of Hip-Hop and Hollywood.

How acting impacted his love of Hip-Hop:

Jharrel Jerome: It comes from the storytelling stuff. As an actor, I think I do work that is pretty strong, some pretty heavy hitting stuff. So I knew when I wanted to be an artist, I had to meet that caliber somehow. And I think meeting that caliber requires really thinking about what you write and what you say. I could, right now, go in the studio and for 15 minutes, come up with four songs and say whatever the hell I want to say, and it’s going to go, I think. It’ll be a vibe. I think my voice will sound cool, and the beat was hot, and “Hey, this is it.” But for me, I’ve been blessed to be in the industry in a way of, “The work is important.”

So for me, the music has to be important. My mentality when it comes to a record, even if I want to dumb the record down a little bit, I want to make sure there’s a beginning, a middle, and an end, and that there’s some sort of story or some sort of message. I think that’s so critical. And the only problem is it’s hard.

On people saying he’s “the next” Drake or J. Cole:

Jharrel Jerome: I am the best I’ve ever been and the worst I’ve ever been at the same time. You know what I’m saying? I am sharp, but I still got so much left to learn. So right now, I’m putting the music out, not for the streams, not for the “Look, I’m the next Drake. Give me the billboard plays.” I’m not here for that. I’m here for the respect, and I’m here for… Even like the comments you made, just on some, “You’re spitting.” I’m here to implant that in people’s minds. And then I think that’ll open up doors for me to work with people who can teach me more and bring me more into this game.

Which he would prefer, rapping or acting:

Jharrel Jerome: If you ever ask me what I’d choose more, back then, now, later, it’s always going to be 50/50. There’s never one that beats the other. I fell in love with rapping first. I’m talking like 10, 11 years old. That’s when I really got into listening to the music, dressing like the music, moving like the music, talking like the music. I was 14 when I got into high school, and that’s when I started acting. I went to a performing art school. I didn’t start acting until 14, 15. When I fell in love with acting is when I realized they go hand in hand, to me. Acting and music, they’re the same. Acting, you do some improv. Rapping, you freestyle. Acting, you play a character. On the mic, you got the cadence and the flow. It’s all hand in hand. It’s just a creative outlet.

Jharrel Jerome reveals his dream collaboration:

Jharrel Jerome: A few, for sure. Kendrick, for sure. I definitely want to just get in the studio and hear us together. Cole, easily, but then he going to body me, so I don’t know about that. No, I would definitely would definitely try to hang in there with Cole. I would love Jazmine Sullivan on the hook. I think she’s so incredible, and I think her voice and my voice might sound cool if we try to tap into a specific sound. I can go on and on.

On the weirdness of being a celebrity:

Jharrel Jerome: Oh, yeah. We’ve had situations. I’ve had a couple situations. One of my weird ones is I was at an airport. I’m sitting down waiting for my flight, and I have a Wendy’s burger in my hand, bro. A soda in this hand and a sandwich. I was just like… I’m chilling, waiting for my flight. And this lady comes up to me, she’s holding a baby, like her one-year-old baby. And she’s like, “Oh my God, I know you.” And without asking, without saying anything, she puts her baby on me, on my lap. Burger thing. My soda tips over, soda tips onto the floor. And then the burger.

She’s goes, “Oh my God, I’m so sorry, man. Can you just take a picture with my baby?” I don’t know where that picture is, but there’s a picture of me looking mad, confused, and a burger in my hand and a baby I don’t know in my other hand. And I’m just like… It’s moments like that where I’m like, “Listen, I love where I’m at, but I could avoid things like that.” But hey, it happens. And you got to just take it with a grain of salt and kind of keep going.

Kandi Burruss Responds To Keith Lee’s Viral Review Of Her Old Lady Gang Restaurant

Kandi Burruss has addressed the controversy that followed after TikTok food critic Keith Lee gave her restaurant an unfavorable review.

The former MMA fighter turned internet sensation regularly receives millions of views on his reviews and is currently on a food tour. While in Atlanta, Lee visited several restaurants and shared his feedback on some restaurants including ones where he and his family received poor service.

When Keith Lee visited Kandi Burruss’ eatery, Old Lady Gang, he sent his wife ahead of him. He always does this to avoid getting special treatment, as his face has become widely known. His wife was informed there were no free tables, and she would have to wait for about an hour.

However, when Keith Lee subsequently entered, Buruss’ employees offered to seat him immediately. Lee was unimpressed that staff were willing to serve him over customers who had been waiting and said so in his very honest review. Check it out below.

His review went viral, and on Monday (October 30,) Kandi Burruss took to social media with a response for Keith Lee.

She thanked the food critic and his family for visiting the restaurant and said it was “unfortunate” staff were unable to accommodate them.

“We would have loved to,” the singer and reality TV star said. “But he’s right, we don’t take to-go orders on the weekend.”

She also explained that the restaurant gets extremely busy during weekends, and she doesn’t want to “overwhelm” kitchen staff with to-go orders alongside orders from sitting diners.

Burruss concluded, “I want to say thanks to Keith for trying to even show up. Thanks for trying to bring your family by. Maybe next time we’ll still get a chance to serve you.”

Watch her response below.

Thanks for stopping by #OldLadyGang @Keith Lee! Much love to you & your family. ❤️ & Thanks to all of our supporters! 😘❤️

Footage of his performance soon went viral, and not everybody was a fan. However, Flavor Flav believes he “knocked it out the park” and had a lot of fun doing it.

He also revealed he accepted the invitation to sing the National Anthem in honor of his family members who fought in the military, including his father, who was in the army, and other veterans and their families.

“When I sang that National Anthem, I was singing it for them because they’re not here to sing it for themselves,” Flavor Flav explained during a TMZ interview. “I did that in honor of my family and also for a lot of other people’s families, too, that fought for this country.”

Flav acknowledged the mixed response to his performance but ignored the haters, stating that the positives far outweigh the negatives.

“I was kinda proud of myself,’ he said, adding that he had “fun” doing it. “I sang it my way and I gave it my own twist.” While he kept the details close to his chest, Flavor Flav also shared that other NBA teams have invited him to perform.

“There’s two other NBA teams that invited me, I’m just not gonna say who they are right now,” he added. Nonetheless, Flav did let slip that one was his “favorite” team.

In a post after his performance, Flavor Flav said signing the national anthem was a “long time bucket list item,” and insisted the critics won’t stop him “trying new things.”

Ray J Responds To Kodak Black’s Threats: “Take The Fade”

Ray J wants the fade with Kodak Black, and he says the rapper better win the fight.

The singer turned tech entrepreneur has been in a back-and-forth with the “Super Gremlin” rapper following a recent interview. Ray J voiced his concerns over Kodak Black’s recent appearance on Drink Champs, urging him to seek help.

However, Black clapped back, claiming the singer wanted to go viral. He also insisted that he didn’t need help and threatened to beat Ray J’s “lil ass.”

A post shared by Watch Live Bitez (@livebitez)

Ray J caught wind of Kodak Black’s remarks and said he’s got to run him a fade, but with the proceeds going to charity. According to Ray J, getting in shape with the fight could help Black get in shape.

“Yak know he don’t want no real fade, he talking ‘bout he gon’ beat me up,” Ray J said on Instagram Live Monday (October 30). Bro, if you don’t cut it out.”

He continued, “The only reason why this fade would make sense for me, you a street n####, right? You a rapper? Well let’s take the fade since you said you going to beat me up. Since you went all the way left with it, only thing you really can do is take the fade.”

Ray J believes Kodak Black training for the fight would be a “win win for everybody” but said the Florida native needs to come out on top.

“But f### him though, forreal. He want that fade, he can have it,” he added. “We can give all the money to a f###### foundation. I’m an R&B singer. The homie that sing, or the homie that rap? I better get my muthafucking ass beat like a muthafucka.”

Furthermore, Ray J said he felt disrespected and didn’t like that Black kept referring to him as ‘Lil.”

“When a n#### say he gone’ beat my lil ass, he kept calling me ‘lil.’ Like what, n####?” he said before adding, “I should have minded my business. I don’t like the disrespect though, because it wasn’t necessary.”

Ultimately, Ray J said he and Kodak Black have no “real” problems, but the fade would be “fun.” Check out the video below or watch the IG Live here.

Lil Pump Starts “We Want Trump” Chant At College Performance

As Donald Trump gears up to testify in his New York civil fraud trial on November 6, some supporters are making noise to rally support for the embattled ex-President of the United States.

While some might paint the picture of the average MAGA maniac as an ultra-right conservative or perhaps a redneck Southerner, Donald Trump has quite a following in the Hip-Hop space.

AllHipHop.com has previously reported about Kanye West backing the reality star-turned-politician, his undying support from Kodak Black, and Sexyy Red’s recent comments saying she likes Donald Trump.

Another chart-topper who has once again, taken his support of Donald Trump to the next level is Lil Pump. During a recent performance at the University of Mississippi, the rapper had the crowd chanting, “We want Trump.”

There is no context as to why the crowd went along with Lil Pump and shouted the mantra, but a sea of white fists pumped forward in the air.

In November 2020, Lil Pump, who reportedly had never voted in a presidential election, endorsed the twice federally impeached president.

Despite Lil Pump being pumped on the former POTUS, it seems Trump didn’t really know who the kid was. Trump once brought out the “Gucci Gang” rapper to share the stage with him at a rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan and called him the wrong name.

“I love your sound. love your music. And speaking of sound and music and other things – one of the big superstars of the world… Lil Pimp!” Donald Trump erroneously said.

EXCLUSIVE: G Herbo Goes To War With Ex-Manager Over Millions

G Herbo is embroiled in a high-stakes legal battle with his former manager, Joseph “JB” Bowden, and Bowden’s record label, Machine Entertainment. The dispute centers around an alleged $8.4 million debt G Herbo owes to Machine and a staggering $40 million that G Herbo claims he’s owed due to years of financial manipulation.

The heart of the matter lies in a series of contracts that began when G Herbo was just a minor. According to documents obtained exclusively by AllHipHop.com, Machine entered into what G Herbo describes as “unfair and one-sided deals” to obtain his copyrights and other valuable rights. The contracts, G Herbo alleges, were designed to keep him in perpetual debt, ensuring that he remained financially dependent on Bowden.

“Over the years, [I] been independent working with other labels, Sony/RED, Epic, now we on the Republic [Records] system,” G Herbo said in a live stream addressing the beef. “I never had a direct deal with the labor. It’s always been with Machine. So, over the years, when we started generating money, probably this was on the Sony system, he pulled me to the side like, ‘bro, let me run your business for you.’ I wasn’t really business savvy. This was somebody I trust with my life, like my brother, like a father figure. ‘I’m your business for you, bro.’ Alright, so from then on, he’s running my business.”

The relationship between a rapper and their manager is often compared to that of a fiduciary, where the manager is expected to act in the best interests of the client. However, G Herbo’s legal team argues that Bowden failed to uphold this responsibility.

Not only did Bowden control G Herbo’s recording rights, but he also served as his business manager, creating a conflict of interest that was never fully disclosed to the young rapper.

“Because [G Herbo’s] money was controlled by [Bowden and Machine], [G Herbo] was forced to ask Bowden to make purchases on his behalf, including for vehicles, [G Herbo’s] rent, and his mother’s rent,” the rapper’s lawyer, Marguerite E. Patrick, said. “Bowden’s conduct, in depriving [G Herbo] of his own funds, was designed to prevent [G Herbo] from leaving Machine or from being able to successfully work with another business manager who would
actually look out for [G Herbo’s] best interests.”

The crux of the financial dispute revolves around a financial report provided by Machine, which claims that G Herbo owes them a recoupable balance of $8.4 million.

G Herbo vehemently disputes this figure, pointing to the years of financial mismanagement and the lack of transparency in accounting. But the story takes a darker turn with the introduction of the Release Agreement, signed on August 25, 2023.

This agreement was meant to nullify previous contracts and return G Herbo’s copyrights and other rights to him. However, shortly after its signing, Bowden and his company began to spread allegations that the agreement was signed under duress.

G Herbo has refuted these allegations, labeling them as attempts to extort him into repudiating the Release Agreement.

“Bowden falsely claimed to representatives of [G Herbo] that he purportedly was threatened with guns and other violence into signing the Release Agreement, and he purportedly was prevented physically from leaving the recording studio until he signed the Release Agreement. These claims are outright lies,” Patrick said, defending her client.

“There were no guns brandished at the studio meeting, nor were there any threats of violence. Moreover, Bowden was not prevented from leaving the studio. In fact, Bowden initially left the studio without having signed the Release Agreement. He then returned to the studio to sign the Release Agreement, after apparently having given the matter more thought,” G Herbo’s lawyer Marguerite E. Patrick continued.

G Herbo further alleges that Bowden and his company have defamed him by sharing these false accusations with influential figures in the music industry and want $20 million for trying to ruin his reputation.

Despite the Release Agreement’s clear terms, Bowden and Machine continue to exploit G Herbo’s music, collecting royalties and payments without any legal right, leading G Herbo to seek legal redress, hoping to enforce the Release Agreement, reclaim his intellectual property, and receive another $20 million for the alleged breaches of fiduciary duty.

“Young artists, you got to stand your ground, man, what’s right if I’m saying it. I’m blessed to be able to do this here. I mean, have the resources to be able to still provide for myself, my family, go to war in this way, the right way, the legal way,” G Herbo said.

The lawsuit is the latest headache for G Herbo, who will spend about five years behind bars after taking a plea deal for his role in a massive credit card fraud scheme.

Speaking to AllHipHop, Rapsody detailed what fans can expect from the new song. As she explained, “The record is about owning your full light. Not the lamp light that fills a room, but the moon light that lights the night! The dark spaces. That’s a compass back to yourself. When you step outside of the matrix and live in Zion, your truth is where we exist in our most free and fearless selves. I took the red pill. I don’t measure my worth by the accolades, material things, numbers or any other false data points. It’s how I connect with people as I am. Raw and true.”

Rapsody released her debut album, The Idea of Beautiful, in 2012 not long after signing with 9th Wonder’s label, It’s a Wonderful World Music Group. In 2015, she was featured on Kendrick Lamar’s single “Complexion (A Zulu Love)” from To Pimp A Butterfly and dropped her sophomore album, Laila’s Wisdom, in 2017. The project, which arrived months after she signed with JAY-Z’s Roc Nation, was nominated for two Grammy Awards in the Best Rap Album and Best Rap Song category the following year.

Her third album, EVE, arrived in August 2019 with contributions from J. Cole, Queen Latifah, GZA, D’Angelo, Sir and JID, among others. Each song is named after an influential Black woman who connected with Rapsody in some way—from Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey to Lauryn Hill and Aaliyah. The album received critical acclaim across the board due to Rapsody’s penchant for phenomenal songwriting and effortless wordplay.

Rap did confirm her next album was finished in a recent Instagram post with the caption: “‘The hardest step she ever took was to blindly trust in who she was.’ Album done.”

SZA Was Worried Drake Was Sabotaging Her With “Slime You Out”

SZA has admitted that she resents the success her first solo song to go No. 1 around the world, “Kill Bill.”

The 33-year-old singer-songwriter has shared her thoughts on the success of her 2022 track which has lived on the Billboard Hot 100 for over 40 weeks.

While speaking to The Wall Street Journal for a new interview, SZA revealed that the revenge track “took no thought.”

“The songs that I care so much about, that I tried so hard on, people be like, ‘That’s nice,'” SZA told the publication. “But the s### that took no thought and came out of my mouth in five seconds? ‘Girl, that’s the one.'”

Elsewhere in the interview, the singer revealed that she has mixed feelings about feedback when it comes to her music.

“If you accept my first draft,” she said, “I won’t trust you.”

The artist, real name Solána Rowe, used Drake’s single, “Slime You Out,” which she appeared on, as an example.

“I just handed in the first draft to Drake, and he’s putting it on his album,” she stated. “I’m scared because I handed in second vocals and he didn’t use that. And now I’m like, ‘Are you trying to sabotage me?’ I know that’s not true. I literally know that’s not true, but that’s how bad I feel about my first draft. When things come from an effortless space, I almost can’t enjoy it.”

“Slime You Out” appeared in Drake’s latest album, For All the Dogs, and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Ice Spice Fan Hands Rapper The Bible Following Her Halloween Weekend Performances

It’s safe to say Ice Spice broke the internet this weekend—but apparently she might need the presence of the Holy Spirit as a result. Assuming your timelines weren’t flooded with endless clips of Ice Spice’s derriere, the rapper made multiple cameos at Philadelphia’s Powerhouse 2023 concert.

On Sunday (October 29), she opted for a Halloween costume, taking the stage in a teenie-tiny Betty Boop costume. But her outfit for Saturday’s (October 28_ performance was just as short and revealing as the aforementioned ensemble.

Of course, Ice Spice went viral after multiple camera angles caught her serving up unadulterated cake and posts about it sprung up like wildfires on social media. But it appears her blatant display of cleavage did more than entice the mind. In a story she posted to her Instagram account, Spice revealed a fan had given her a whole Bible following her performance in her Betty Boop costume. “Why a fan gave me a bible after the show,” she wrote in the caption of a photo of The Good Book.

While it’s yet to be determined whether Spice actually needs Jesus, the data is irrefutable concerning her ability to translate sex appeal into the marketability of her music. For example, one Twitter user highlighted that her breakout “Deli” single garnered more than 700,000 streams the same day she brought out the slinky Betty Boop costume. So, in a sense, she’s racking up streams for serving up her assets and it’s working in her favor right now. Whether that’s sustainable is one of those “known unknowns.” While we figure it out, peep more footage of Ice Spice tearing down the stage while wagging her wagon below.

Wack 100 Says He Can Prove Biggie Was Bisexual Because Of $200 Bet He Lost

Blueface’s longtime manager, Wack 100, believes he has definitive proof Biggie Smalls identified as bisexual. Wack revealed his theory during his recent interview with No Jumper, where he explained the basis of the claim was rooted in a bet he lost a couple of hundred dollars on.

“They betted me that Biggie was bisexual,” Wack said in part. “I betted $200 that he wasn’t—and they played four or five songs of Biggie saying bi s###.”

Of course Wack didn’t stop there, and instead went pressed on while citing lyrics from Biggie’s discography such as the “You look so good, huh/I suck on your daddy’s d###” bar from his classic record “Me & My B####.”

Wack also brought up a line from Biggie’s 1994 track “Just Playing (Dreams)” in which he dealt a disrespectful sneak diss blow to the female-led R&B group Xscape as he raps, “I’d f### RuPaul before I f### them ugly ass Xscape b####es.” He later apologized for the bars, remarking that they were all in the name of sarcasm and a product of his unique sense of humor.

No Jumper‘s host noted Biggie was known primarily for his fringe and often controversial and witty sense of humor—suggesting the suspect bars Wack is dwelling on were solely for comedic effect.

At the end of the day, it really isn’t our business what Biggie’s sexual preference was, unless he made it ours through his own free will. Word to Dwight Howard! However, one can infer, simply by his track record of famous flings, which include romances with Faith Evans and Lil Kim, that Biggie was a ladies’ man.
