Despite Plies’ numerous attempts at proving he’s both a fan of Britney Spear’s Instagram choreography work and worthy suitor, the pop star appears to be choosing up on Kanye West right now.

If anything, maybe Spears doesn’t have a thing for Ye, but the Donda rapper clearly has her attention in the same way she’s living rent-free in Plies’ head. By the looks of it, Miss Spears is feeling even friskier in the face of her impending divorce from Sam Ashgari and has chosen West’s music as the soundtrack to her hot girl summer.

“Me and Kanye!!!” she wrote in the brief message stamped with a starry-eyed emoji. The possibility that there’s a world in which Britney Spears exists completely oblivious of Plies and his advances is highly likely. But, you gotta admit, it’s kind of funny to think Spears would really shade Plies by way of flirting with Kanye West.

Britney Spears posted a since-deleted video of herself half-naked self and dancing to in bed to Kanye West’s high energy record “Fade.” The video isn’t giving Teyana Taylor sex symbol vibes, but it’s letting the world know Spears can still throw it if she wants to. And even though by this point videos like this are on pretty much on-brand for Britney Spears, it’s the caption that really does it for me.

In what world, might one ask? The same one where Marcus Jordan is apparently planning to wed Larsa Pippen. Anything is possible and nothing is out of the ordinary these days when it comes to celebrity relationships. Hell, Taryn Manning, Britney Spears’ former bestie, even confessed she was out here eating a married man’s groceries and was sprung out on him enough to almost cop shawty a boat.

Maybe it’s too early to call, but both Plies and Bianca Censori might have to move out of the way in order for the stars to align in the Britney Spears and Kanye West power couple universe. I can already imagine what it would be like watching them shut down the Met Gala together in 2024—Kanye West will likely be wearing something covering his entire body from head to toe and Britney Spears will probably bring a mob of 20 backup dancers for her routine during her walk to the staircase photo-op. What a time, man.

Cardi B: No More Collaborations Until My Next Solo Single

2018’s Invasion of Privacy album produced Diamond-certified singles and broke chart records, but Cardi B fans have been waiting five years for her second studio LP.

Cardi B recently spoke about her next official body of work. During a cover story interview with Vogue Mexico magazine, the Bronx native shared an update on the upcoming sophomore album.

“I’m not going to release any more collaborations, I’m going to put out my next solo single. Right now I’m working on the cover art and ideas for the next record because it’s definitely coming up,” said Cardi in Spanish.

Cardi B went on an impressive feature run over the last two years. She created standout verses on songs with Kay Flock (“Shake It”), GloRilla (“Tomorrow 2”), Latto (“Put It on da Floor Again”), FendiDa Rappa (“Point Me 2”), and Offset (“Jealousy”).

“Everyone always tells me I should put the record out now, they did when I released ‘Wap’ [with Megan Thee Stallion] and when I released ‘Up,’ but I always let them know I’m not going to wait long after all these singles,” Cardi declared.

It has been two years since Cardi released a solo single. “Up” dropped in February 2021. The track peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The Recording Industry Association of America certified “Up” as 2x-Platinum.

Cardi B also made it to the top of the Hot 100 chart with “WAP” featuring Megan Thee Stallion. That 2020 collaboration remained at No. 1 for four weeks and became the first Billboard Global 200 chart-topper. “WAP” earned 7x-Platinum certification from the RIAA.

Invasion of Privacy opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart by racking up 255,000 first-week units. Cardi’s debut album broke the record for the longest-charting female rap album of all time. Additionally, Invasion of Privacy won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album.

“So stay tuned because it’s coming out very soon,” said the 30-year-old recording artist/businesswoman. “I also have plans in the world of cinema. In fact, I have plans to do everything I can: fashion, branding, I want to do it all, honey.”

Tyga Fires Back At Blac Chyna After She Tries To Collect Child Support From Him

Tyga dismissed Blac Chyna’s need for child support shortly after she filed paperwork to collect money for their 10-year-old son. The rapper reacted to his ex’s attempt to obtain child support after several outlets published details about the case on Friday (August 25).

“10 years later…nah…stick to ur schedule sat-mon,” Tyga wrote in a comment on Instagram.

Blac Chyna, whose real name is Angela White, sought joint custody of her son with Tyga. She wanted to legally establish the child’s paternity, deeming it to be in the “best interest of the child.”

“The court may make orders for support of the children and issue an earnings assignment without further notice to either party,” the filing read.

Blac Chyna previously revealed she received no child support from Tyga or her ex Rob Kardashian in 2021. At the time, she seemed content with the arrangement.

“I feel like if they’re doing their part on their end, and I’m doing mine, that’s perfectly fine and the best co-parenting,” she said in 2021.

A year later, Blac Chyna claimed she gave up three cars to take care of children. She once again mentioned her lack of child support. Tyga insisted there was no reason for him to pay her.

“I pay 40k a year for my son school & he lives w me mon- sat,” he wrote in response to her 2022 complaints. “Why would I pay child support lol.”

Blac Chyna and Tyga await a judge’s ruling on her request for child support. The exact amount of money she’s seeking hasn’t been disclosed.

YNW Melly Double Murder Case: Complaint Filed Against Lead Detective

YNW Melly’s mother, Jamie King, has reportedly filed a complaint against the lead detective in her son’s double murder case. According to NBC6 Miami, King’s attorney Stuart Adelstein filed a Brady motion Wednesday (August 23) asking the prosecution to turn over exculpatory evidence.

“(The defense team) has recently learned that the lead detective, Detective M. Moretti, is under investigation and that an Assistant State Attorney has given a statement concerning an incident involving excessive force used by him against a potential witness in this case,” Adelstein wrote in the filing.

Miramar Police told NBC6 they received the complaint from King’s lawyer and were looking into it. They added Moretti, a 20-year veteran, has never been under any type of administrative investigation.

YNW Melly is still in jail awaiting a re-trial in his double murder case. His July proceedings ended in a mistrial. Melly stands accused of fatally shooting his childhood friends and fellow rappers, YNW Sakchaser and YNW Juvy, in October 2018.

Melly, Sakchaser and Juvy were riding in a Jeep driven by YNW Bortlen following a recording session in Fort Lauderdale, when Melly allegedly shot them. Authorities said Melly and Bortlen then staged a crime scene to resemble a drive-by shooting. Melly pleaded not guilty shortly after his 2019 arrest. He faces a possible death sentence if convicted.

Ez Mil strives to be an innovator. Eminem and Dr. Dre’s latest signee envisioned himself creating a new genre of music when asked about his career path in an interview with AllHipHop’s Chuck Creekmur.

“Because of all the things that I’ve done and gotten myself into in terms of the musical variety, I want to hone all of that,” Ez Mil said. “This is just looking further, further down the road. [My path is] probably to create a genre.”

He continued, “Another blip in the category where these new artists—cause I relate to them. If they go on DistroKid and start putting some stuff out there and that would be one of the categories, one of those genres … That’s the goal.”

Ez Mil already had a name in mind for his genre, but he wasn’t ready to reveal it.

“I’m still in the drafts of it right now,” he told AllHipHop.

Eminem and Dr. Dre announced their signing of Ez Mil in July. The Las Vegas-based rapper inked a joint deal with Shady Records, Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records.

Ez Mil’s song “Up Down (Step & Walk)” caught the attention of Eminem. Slim Shady said his new artist was “really special.” Dr. Dre agreed.

“Em played me Ez and I had that feeling…that thing that happens when we both know we’ve found something special,” Dr. Dre said. “And that was it.”

Gunplay’s Wife Shares Graphic Details About Their Violent Relationship; Says He Choked Their Child

Gunplay was arrested earlier this week on several charges stemming from a domestic violence incident. His estranged wife, Vonshae Taylor-Morales, claimed he pointed a rifle at her and their six-month-old daughter after she asked him to be quiet while playing his Xbox.

On Thursday (August 24), Taylor-Morales opened up about their violent relationship. According to Taylor-Morales, she’s been thinking about divorce since June after an attempt at therapy was fruitless. She also clarified a particular Instagram Live was different from the one filmed around the same time the incident occurred.

“This entire situation is sickening….. that Live you guys are trying to use as the event is FALSE,” she explained. “That is his studio in our laundry room. Two entire different situations and events. The video game is in our bedroom. Tensions been high in the house, I’ve been fed up with a lot of stuff. I was already looking for a divorce in June. He was begging me not to leave. He said he would do therapy and I tried it. He went to one session and never did it again.”

Taylor-Morales also shared a screenshot of Gunplay allegedly asking his lawyer, Michael Grieco, for bond. She believes that’s evidence of guilt. She continued,” Do you guys understand how unhinged he was to break a porcelain sink after I left!!!! If he didn’t do anything and I’m ‘exaggerating’ why the hell did he reach out to a lawyer asking for a bond in the midst of all this drama? That’s a innocent person?

“He in jail contacting my friends and family trying to have me drop the charges. Now he in jail having HIS friends talk to me and about me online CRAZY. I hope the justice system doesn’t fail another black woman and child. If they do, he still will NEVER be able to be around me or my child. It doesn’t matter however y’all spin it. Pulling a gun out on your family and then choking a child in the midst is UNACCEPTABLE.”

Gunplay—real name Richard Morales Jr.—was arrested in Miami on Sunday (August 20). According to a Miami-Dade County inmate search, the rapper was taken into custody on multiple charges, including assault with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment and child abuse. Taylor-Morales has obtained a restraining order and is in the process of filling for divorce.

Chief Keef reacted to Donald Trump’s legal troubles in an Instagram Stories post on Friday (August 25). A day after Trump’s arrest in Georgia, Chief Keef predicted a smooth transition to life behind bars if the ex-president gets sentenced to prison in one of four criminal cases.

“Nah my boy in dat B#### Banging on dem folks,” Chief Keef wrote with laughing emojis. “I know whatever deck he on he good in da hood for sure he finna run the run prison… That boy finna be eatin like a mf all da blacks finna have my boy back.”

Chief Keef’s post included a photoshopped image of Trump throwing up gang signs. Last night, the photo spread on social media along with the former president’s real mugshot from the Fulton County Jail.

Trump surrendered to custody and took a mugshot at the Fulton County Jail on Thursday night (August 24). He faces 13 charges for trying to overturn the 2020 presidential election in Georgia.

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Kanye West’s ex-publicist Trevian Kutti and 16 other Trump allies were indicted for their role in the scheme. Trump and his co-defendants caught RICO charges in the indictment.

Trump’s Georgia case was his fourth indictment this year. He faces 91 criminal charges in total.

Burna Boy is back with a new studio LP called I Told Them…. The album turned up on Friday (August 25) with several high-profile guest appearances, including 21 Savage, Dave, Seyi Vibez and J. Cole as well as GZA and RZA of the Wu-Tang Clan. Burna spoke to Apple Music 1 host Zane Lowe earlier this week about his latest album.

“It kind of showed me exactly the way I wanted to express what I was feeling and what my unit was feeling,” he said. “The spirit of my unit. Just put that in because this is every day. This is a side where people don’t really get to see because I don’t really care for anyone to see.”

He added, “Showing everyone, really, that the combination of worlds is something that we haven’t really capitalized on. Because at the end of the day, once we’re all unified, everything else, the fruits of that just take care of everything.” 

The Zane Lowe conversation included Burna Boy reflecting on collaborating with RZA for the “Jewels” track off the I Told Them… album. Burna stated, “It’s been a great honor, man. He wasn’t there. We weren’t personally in the studio together when he did it, but when he sent the first draft to me, I could just feel the energy.”

The self-described “African Giant” went on to say, “He’s connecting things that have to do with photography, s### that has to do with the vision, like photographic s###. And he’s made the whole thing, he combined and interlock and it’s just crazy.”

Lil Yachty Calls Fans “Stupid” For Expecting Drake’s ‘For All The Dogs’ Album To Drop

The most diehard Drake fans likely waited until Friday (August 25) at 12 a.m. ET to listen to his new album. However, For All the Dogs did not show up on DSPs at midnight.

Throughout the week, reports around the internet suggested Drake would drop his next body of work on August 25. The speculation apparently stemmed from an Amazon Music post that supposedly leaked the release date.

When the clock struck midnight on the East Coast, a wave of disappointment spread across social media. The feeling of high-energy expectations for Drake’s For All the Dogs turned into internet culture memes.

Lil Yachty decided to weigh in on the conversation surrounding For All the Dogs not arriving. Drake’s friend and musical collaborator then discovered the crosshairs directed at him.

“Y’all stupid, [nobody] even said For All the Dogs was [coming] out tonight,” Lil Yachty posted at 12:11 a.m. on Friday morning. X (formerly Twitter) users filled the Georgia-bred rapper’s replies with complaints, jokes and corrections.

Close to 20 minutes later, Yachty returned to the X platform to add, “Wait swear y’all on my head like dat” In addition, he spoke about For All the Dogs in a video message while also promoting his own music.

Drake did generate some buzz this week for his next collection of tunes. The Grammy winner revealed the For All the Dogs cover on Instagram. His five-year-old son, Adonis, created the studio LP’s artwork.

When For All the Dogs does land, it will serve as the follow-up to 2022’s Honestly, Nevermind. The Canadian rapper/singer teamed with 21 Savage for their 2022 collaborative effort, Her Loss. Both bodies of work peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Lola Brooke Talks Sampling Black Sheep’s “The Choice Is Yours” For “Just Relax” Single

Hip Hop celebrates its 50-year anniversary in 2023. This year has seen a lot of conversations about the culture largely being dominated by female acts like Lola Brooke.

Brooklyn’s Lola Brooke broke out with her 2021 single “Don’t Play with It” featuring Billy B. The Gold-certified track started gaining traction online in 2022 thanks to TikTok users.

Since that time, Brooke dropped a remix for “Don’t Play with It” with Latto and Yung Miami. She also created collaborations with Ciara, NLE Choppa, Coi Leray, and others.

“Just Relax” is one of Lola Brooke’s latest solo releases. Producer Sharif “Reefa” Slater sampled Black Sheep’s No. 1 rap single “The Choice Is Yours” from 1991 for the new Brooke record.

Wonderland magazine selected Lola Brooke as the cover artist for the British publication’s Autumn/Fall 2023 issue. The outlet’s feature article about the Arista Records signee includes a discussion about “Just Relax.”

“[Reefa] ran down the history of [“The Choice Is Yours”], how much of a classic it was and I was scared to do it but I ended up doing it anyways,” said Brooke. The rapstress also known as Big Gator referred to herself as a student of Hip-Hop culture.

Lola Brooke added, “It gives a voice to people like me, which was important for me growing up, especially as an only child.” A full-length body of work from Brooke is on the way. She promises the project will be an “emotional rollercoaster.”

Sexyy Red Announces First Headlining Tour

Rising rapper Sexyy Red will take a big step in her music career. The St. Louis-raised rapper announced her first headlining tour for this fall.

Sexyy Red’s “Hood Hottest Princess Tour” kicks off on Monday, October 16 at The Paradise Rock Club in Boston, Massachusetts. The 20-stop trek also hits New York, Detroit, Atlanta, Los Angeles and other cities.

The “Hood Hottest Princess Tour” follows the release of the Hood Hottest Princess commercial mixtape in June. That project hosts the “SkeeYee” and “Pound Town 2” singles.

Sexyy Red recruited Hip Hop legend Nicki Minaj as a guest feature on “Pound Town 2.” The Tay Keith-produced track peaked at No. 66 on the Billboard Hot 100 in June and spent 10 weeks on the chart.

Additionally, Sexxy Red found success with another 2023 collaboration. On April 7, NLE Choppa dropped “S### Me Out Remix.” The new version’s promotional photos and music video caused controversy online.

In the visuals, NLE Choppa dog walks Sexyy Red and fellow female rapper Sukihana while using their hair as leashes. Red later defended Choppa and insisted she made the suggestion for the shot.

“Y’all lame and wrong for that,” said Sexyy Red. “He didn’t do nothing wrong. They so lame. I ain’t understand. But he really didn’t do nothing wrong. He was just doing what I told him.”

Other pictures of Sexyy Red have also garnered attention on social media over the last several months. A July tweet from the 25-year-old rhymer included suggestive photos with OVO Sound frontman Drake.

On Thursday (August 24), shortly before Trump’s arrest, Plies joked that he was headed to Atlanta to take the mugshot.

Once the actual image surfaced online, he changed his social media profile pictures to the mugshot. Plies also shared the photo while continuing to troll Donald Trump.  

“The Look U Give When U Been Yelling ‘Lock Her Up’ & ‘The Biden Crime Family’ .. But U The B*tch That’s Really The Criminal!!!!” he wrote alongside the photo. “U Can Fool Everybody But God!!!!” 

He followed up with mugshots of some of the other defendants. “Look At These Crooks!!!!!!,” he wrote. “A Great Day In America! Get These Thugz Off The Streetz!!!!!”

The “I Got Motion” hitmaker also joked that he’s going to adopt the former commander in chief’s prison number in place of his actual name.  

“I Will Not Be Referring To Donald J Trump By His Name Anymore,” Plies declared. “From Here On Out I Will Be Referring To Him As ‘Inmate P01135809.’” 

Earlier this week, Plies questioned how Trump was still eligible to run for office while facing multiple RICO counts and charges over four indictments. According to Plies, if a regular citizen faced those charges, they couldn’t get a job flipping burgers.  

He echoed the sentiment on Thursday when videos of Trump traveling to Fulton County Jail alongside a motorcade of black S.U.V.s preceded by more than a dozen police motorcycles. 

“Bruh Don’t Deserve All This He’s A Regular Citizen Now!!” Plies wrote. “All This On Taxpayers Dollars!! This Ain’t The Easter Parade He’s Been Indicted!!”

Beyoncé fans at her Arizona concert experienced a ten-minute pause in the show after the mic cut out while the singer was performing.  

The singer remained professional throughout, with the snafu barely ruffling in her feathers as she gracefully walked offstage while the engineers fixed the audio. However, when concertgoers shared clips of the moment the mic cut, people online began joking that somebody was getting fired.  

“Beyoncé is gonna fire everyone,” one user wrote on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. “From the production to the stadium staff. Even the football players that use it. They’re all fired.” 

The jokes continued, with many users sharing the same sentiment. However, fans at the show patiently awaited her return, chanting the superstar’s name until she reappeared.  

Whether or not anybody lost their job, Beyoncé made a triumphant comeback following the brief delay. She restarted her performance of “Alien Superstar” with a bang. Beyoncé rose up from the stage after changing into a new costume, ready to continue the show.  

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the concert, Blue Ivy joined her mom, wearing her own fresh fit. The 11-year-old daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z has become a highlight of the Renaissance tour. Videos of her dancing with Bey to “My Power” have gone viral, and recreations of her dance moves are a fixture on TikTok.  

Fat Joe Wants Drake’s Forgiveness For Rejecting Him On “All The Way Up” Remix

Fat Joe is asking Drake to forgive him for not putting him on the “All The Way Up” remix, despite Drizzy practically begging to be on the track. 

In a preview clip from the latest episode of the Rap Radar podcast, the NYC icon recalled Drizzy contacting him to be the remix and explained why he turned him down. 

“Drake FaceTimed me three times trying to get on ‘All The Way Up,’” Fat Joe revealed. “Three times. Middle of the night. ‘Send me the instrumental, send me the instrumental, send me the instrumental.’ I wish I would’ve got Drake on there, right? But the fact of all the history of me and Jay-Z, I was like ‘It gotta be just me and Jay-Z.’” 

He continued, “Anybody who truly understands, this is the moment. It ain’t just gon’ be a posse cut.” However, it appears Drake did not understand and never asked him to be on a song again.  

“And this the last time Drake ever asked me to do a song,” he added. “But… nah, man! Drake gotta forgive me. I’m like ‘Damn, man, please!’”

Drake Trolls Fat Joe With A Pair Of Socks

Despite the “All The Way Up” snub, Drake and Fat Joe maintain a friendly relationship. Drizzy recently gifted The Terror Squad leader an early birthday present.  

“You can’t make this s### up,” Joe said in the video as he opened the box. “Congratulations Fat Joe, it’s your birthday. You’ve got a present from Stake. Stake, a.k.a. my brother Drake’s company.” 

However, Joe was in for a surprise when he opened the box. “Fat Joe socks. Yo, this is the most disrespectful s### I’ve ever seen in my life,” he remarked. “G#######, be careful what you wish for. Thank you. It’s the thought that counts.” 

The joke gift was in response to Fat Joe joking that he was “jealous” of the free perks Drake is gifted while he can’t even get a “f###### pack of socks” for free. 

“Let me tell you why I might be jealous of Drake,” Joe said on Instagram Live. “I’ve never seen a guy people love more. 

He then said that Drake was gifted his $185 million “Air Drake” jet, as well as the rare $1 million 2Pac ring recently sold at auction.

Donald Trump shared his mugshot on social media on Thursday (August 24), just hours after turning himself in to Fulton County jail on several RICO charges stemming from the 2020 presidential election.

The former president and his 18 co-defendants, including former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, took mugshots while in custody. Trump returned to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, to post his mugshot and ask for donations. The post was his first since being banned following the January 6, 2021 U.S. Capitol insurrection.

“ELECTION INTERFERENCE! NEVER SURRENDER!” Trump wrote in the post. He soon deleted it, but the image remains on his social media platform of choice, Truth Social and on his website.

Donald Trump embedded the mugshot alongside a statement on his site asking for contributions for his presidential run. He referred to his arrest at “the notoriously violent jail” in Fulton County, Georgia, calling it “ELECTION INTERFERENCE.” 

He continued, ”I walked into the lion’s den with one simple message on behalf of our entire movement: I WILL NEVER SURRENDER OUR MISSION TO SAVE AMERICA.” 

The former commander-in-chief then asked for donations to “to evict Crooked Joe Biden” and “SAVE AMERICA.” 

In a statement to Fox News following his arrest, a defiant Donald Trump insisted “I should have every right” to challenge what he calls a “rigged” and “stolen” election. He called his arrest “a travesty of justice” and maintained his innocence, adding, “I’ve done nothing wrong.”

It’s hard to imagine anything crazier than a person of color rallying behind perceived racist Donald Trump. But, it’s happening—in droves. On Thursday (August 24), a video featuring a Black man wearing a “N#####S For Trump” t-shirt went viral, proving anything is possible in 2023. The video arrived just hours after Trump turned himself in to Fulton County jail on multiple RICO charges and was released on $200,000 bond.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who’s leading the charge, seems to be the target of the “NFT” movement as indicated by captions like “Fani Willis if full of s###.”

The man in video continues, “I’m here to support president Trump. You wanna know why I’m here to support president Trump? Because they’ve been treating Black men like this for decades. Make up charges .. so I know Trump is innocent. I support Trump against this corrupt, two-tier justice system. That’s why I’m here to show my support as a Black man for Trump. And I’m wearing my ‘N####S For Trump 2024’ and I mean that.”

The man went on to say Willis is not only “full of s###” but a “puppet for the white liberals.” He also insisted Trump should be “king.”

Donald Trump was hit with 13 charges, including violating the Georgia RICO Act and conspiracy to commit forgery in the first degree. The Georgia case was the fourth indictment against Trump in a matter of months. He was previously indicted in two federal cases and a case in New York. Trump hired a new lawyer, Steve Sadow, before surrendering to authorities in Georgia.

“I have been retained to represent President Trump in the Fulton County, Georgia, case,” Sadow told ABC News. “The President should never have been indicted. He is innocent of all the charges brought against him. We look forward to the case being dismissed or, if necessary, an unbiased, open-minded jury finding the President not guilty. Prosecutions intended to advance or serve the ambitions and careers of political opponents of the President have no place in our justice system.”

Donald Trump was arrested and quickly released from the Fulton County Jail in Georgia on Thursday night (August 24). The former president took a mugshot while he was in custody.

Trump and 18 co-defendants face RICO charges in Fulton County. The ex-president and his allies were indicted for trying to overturn the 2020 presidential election in Georgia.

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Kanye West’s former publicist Trevian Kutti were among the notable people indicted for their roles in Trump’s election scheme. Trump was hit with 13 charges, including violating the Georgia RICO Act and conspiracy to commit forgery in the first degree.

The Georgia case was the fourth indictment against Trump in a matter of months. He was previously indicted in two federal cases and a case in New York.

Blueface Stabbing: Rapper’s Alleged Assailant Charged With Felony

A 36-year-old man was arrested for allegedly stabbing Blueface at a boxing gym in the Los Angeles area. According to TMZ, Brandon Henry Snell was charged with felony assault after surrendering to authorities on Wednesday afternoon (August 23).

Blueface was stabbed while training for a boxing match on Wednesday morning. A man walked into the gym and quickly confronted the rapper, leading to an altercation between the two. Security footage showed Blueface’s attacker pulling out a knife after getting punched several times.

Authorities believe Snell was the man wielding the knife in the security footage. He was released after posting bail on Thursday (August 24).

Blueface said he did not know his assailant. He referred to the man as “some random guy” in an Instagram Stories post about the incident.

The attacker stabbed Blueface in the leg. The stabbing forced Blueface to pull out of a boxing match against internet personality Salt Papi. The two were scheduled to fight in October.

“I won’t be able to fight October 14th due to a injury won’t have enough time to heal don’t say I ducked none bro came with a dog an a knife at 10am,” Blueface wrote on Instagram.
