Will Smith Finally Reveals Fate Of ‘Bad Boys 4’

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are back for a fourth Bad Boys film.

The two announced the franchise’s continuation via social media on Tuesday (January 31). Sony Pictures confirmed Bad Boys 4 is in early pre-production.

“It’s about that time!” Will Smith declared in a video. “It’s official, y’all.”

Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah return to direct Bad Boys 4 after helming 2020’s Bad Boys for Life. Chris Bremner, who wrote Bad Boys for Life, reunites with the directors to pen the fourth movie’s script.

Last year, reports claimed the Bad Boys franchise was put on hold due to Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the 94th Academy Awards. Sony chairman Tom Rothman denied halting the development over the infamous slap.

“That was inaccurate,” he told Deadline in 2022. “That movie’s been in development and still is. There weren’t any brakes to pump because the car wasn’t moving. That was a very unfortunate thing that happened, and I don’t think it’s really my place to comment, except to say that I’ve known Will Smith for many years, and I know him to be a good person. That was an example of a very good person having a very bad moment, in front of the world. I believe his apology and regret is genuine, and I believe in forgiveness and redemption.”

The Bad Boys franchise began in 1995. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence play detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, respectively, in the films.

EXCLUSIVE: SleazyWorld Go Under Investigation For Weapon Possession, Warrant Issued For DNA

Bubbling rapper, SleazyWorld Go, could be in some serious trouble. According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, the Island Records artist is currently under investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) agency. Task Force Officer Nicholas Horine recently applied for a search warrant to collect DNA from the 24-year-old for comparison to evidence in an on-going federal investigation. SleazyWorld Go stands accused of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition as well as an unregistered machine gun.

The Kansas City native, who was convicted of armed robbery in 2016 and is allegedly affiliated with the Brotherland Gang (BLG), has been under surveillance for months following his 2020 release from prison. In July 2022, the ATF received an anonymous tip from someone who had two photographs of the rapper holding a gun. Consequently, investigators began staking out SleazyGo World’s residence using pole cameras and other devices.

In October 2022, federal search warrants were executed on his Facebook and Instagram accounts. The content reviewed includes multiple drug transactions, both buying and selling; the purchase and
possession of multiple firearms; and the purchase and possession of multiple full-auto machine gun
conversion devices or “Switches.” Multiple photos and videos also show him in possession of up to 21 firearms at a time.

SleazyGo World and a friend were also followed by investigators as they drove from Kansas City, Missouri to Kansas City, Kansas and back to the rapper’s residence. Both were observed handling weapons.

“Due to [SleazyGo World’s] open possession of firearms despite his status as a convicted felon,
the presence of several armed gang members from the SleazyWorld/Brotherland Gangs, and the
knowledge known to ATF personnel that the members of the gangs are associated with gun
violence, drug sales, and illegally modified fully automatic firearms, investigators determined
enforcement action was appropriate,” the docs read. “ATF personnel contacted tactical officers of the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department Special Operations Unit.

“Upon arrival of tactical officers from the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department, ISAAC and his associates fled on foot inside the townhome residence located at […] in an effort to elude detention by law enforcement.”

SleazyGo World refused to let the officers search his vehicle for weapons, so they wound up breaking a window to gain access. Once inside, they discovered multiple firearms, including an AK-47 style rifle, two AK-47 style “Draco” pistols and a black Glock pistol with a loaded extended magazine and an affixed “Glock switch.” Multiple rounds of various ammunition were found as well. Now, his case is in the hands of Honorable Lajuana M. Counts of the Western District of Missouri.

Check Out Who Plays Michael Jackson In New Movie!

It looks like a new Michael Jackson movie on the way. Recently we have seen an influx of biotic movies with the likes of Elvis Presley, Whitney Houston, Freddie Mercury, Elton John, N.W.A., and others get their own movie. We’ve seen so much in real life about Michael Jackson that I wasn’t sure we would ever get a movie. Remember, we got the Prince story way back in the day. “Purple Rain!”

Anyway, there appears to be a brand new Michael Jackson biopic in the works. Antoine Fuqua is on the case, and a recent Instagram post revealed that JaaFar, who happens to be MJ‘s nephew, will play the late King of Pop.

He looks like his uncle and he even performs and sings. This is destined to be controversial, because Michael Jackson live such a controversial life. I am interested in seeing what form they will assume to adopt his story. This is not the first time Michael Jackson’s life, or portions of it, have been brought to the silver screen however, I do feel like this will be the first definitive version of his life. As you may know, MJ was born in 1958 in Gary, Indiana. He was a part of the Jackson 5, a musical group of prodigies that won numerous accolades in music. Michael Jackson, as a solo artist, rose even higher, and saw him a part of the megastar phenomenon that crescendoed in the 1980s and 90s.

OAN: Who Remember This?

Flex Alexander did the most as MJ!

Here’s a clip.

Right now, there is a title for the movie and it’s simply called “Michael.” According to reports, this “Michael” movie will address everything in his life, including the child, sexual abuse allegations. There’s no exact date, but shying away from that would have done a disservice to the critical public. At the same time, Elvis did not address linking with his future wife when she was a mere 14. So, let’s talk about it.

There’s no release date yet but production is expected to start sometime this year.

What do you think?

GloRilla Joins The Illuminati? She Responds!

GloRilla! My girl!

Is GloRilla a member of the illuminati? What a weird question, right? That’s exactly what the Internet is asking after the newly minted superstar rapper decided to post a recent photo shoot. In that photo, she had a number of markings and tattoos on her, as well as some rings that said “Big Glo.” This led for many to assume that she is making a statement about her newfound status.

As you probably know, the Illuminati has been a shadowy figure in America and internationally as well. It has often times represented all that is wrong with our entertainment in our music. But, most people don’t go around blatantly advertising any sort of membership to the illuminati. It’s hidden in plain sight and others say it’s a bunch of garbage.

Nonetheless, Glo really is probably the least likely to be a member of this elite clandestine force that many say controls what we see and hear. They also neglect to say that the illuminati is often times affiliated with global politics and other such matters. A little ol’ rapper from Memphis graduating to the Big I already? That’s like me playing center for the Lakers!

Nevertheless, the chatter must’ve gotten to the rapper, because she shut it down quickly. Now I’m not going to publish where I believe the commentary originated, but I am more than happy to show you what I believe she said in response to it.

“Baby y’all need to be worried bout dat pwussy y’all selling & not me eyes ea (e) (edamn I can’t show my rings off ??????? Y’all gotta chill out with da delusional s###,” she said. “Selling rotel plates but worried bout me & my damn soul tf.”

In my view, she is definitely talking about the accusations! They might have witches in Memphis, but she ain’t one with the Illuminati.

“Diddy Don’t Do Jingles” – New Uber One Commercial Features Speechless Puff Daddy

Music executive and all-around Hip-Hop icon, Sean “P. Diddy” Combs is teaming up with Uber to do a cool commercial for the Super Bowl.

In the teaser, advertising executives are pitching a commercial for their new service Uber One to a relaxed Combs, bossed up in his Combs Enterprise office, with a bodyguard/ spokesperson responding to their request for him.

As the executives say, they would like a song for Uber’s upcoming campaign, the intimidating representative says, “Diddy don’t do jingles.”

They try to convince him that Uber doesn’t want a jingle, ultimately saying the company wants a “hit.”

In a dry tone, the muscle says, “Diddy does do hits,” with the Bad Boy mogul smiling— before getting up to take a call.

Danielle Hawley, Global Executive Creative Director, explained why the company is going all out for the Super Bowl spot, according to USA Today.

“As the only global company that helps you go anywhere and get anything, our membership program is the best way to save,” she said. “We want people to remember that, so for this year’s Super Bowl ad, we set out to help everyone get Uber One stuck in their heads — and what better way to do that than with a hit song?”

The commercial will not just feature Mr. Take That, Take That.

According to Hawley, “Uber “paired some of the biggest hitmakers of all time with one of the most esteemed producers in the game to help Uber One catch on.”

QC Accuses Offset Of Breaching Legal Agreement

It appears the legal drama between Kiari “Offset” Cephus and Quality Control Music is not over. A new report claims Capitol Music Group-backed QC wants a judge to drop Cephus’s lawsuit against the company.

According to RadarOnline, Offset sued Quality Control to prevent the record label from receiving revenue for his solo work. The Migos member released the singles “54321” and “Code” in 2022 via Motown Records.

Offset supposedly negotiated a settlement with Quality Control Music in January 2021. The 31-year-old Georgia native contends the deal gave him ownership rights to his own recordings and songwriting credits.

Offset & QC’s Pierre “P” Thomas Clashed On Social Media

Quality Control believes Offset does not own the recordings released by Motown – such as “54321” and “Code” – which negates his lawsuit. QC also argued that Set breached the settlement agreement by violating the confidentiality provision.

Offset dropped “Code” featuring Memphis rapper Moneybagg Yo on August 26, 2022. That collaboration arrived two days after Offset called out QC co-founder Pierre “P” Thomas for addressing the lawsuit on social media.

“N##### act like I’m the problem. I paid millions to get my rights back. N####, you blackballed me. I ain’t said s### one time, homie. I ain’t spoke to you in 2 years, now I drop and you want ya name on my credit?” tweeted Offset in response to a now-deleted tweet by P.

Offset Is Still Mourning The Loss Of Takeoff

The latest round in the legal fight between Offset and Quality Control Music comes after the tragic killing of fellow Migos member Kirsnick “Takeoff” Ball. There also seemed to be a personal falling out among the Migos trio at some point over the last several years.

“The pain you have left me with is unbearable,” posted Offset on Instagram about Takeoff dying. “My heart is shattered and I have so many things to say, but I can’t find the words. I’ve been going to sleep and waking up hoping that all of this is a dream, but it’s reality, and reality feels like a nightmare.”

Offset has taken the death of his groupmate/family member Takeoff extremely hard. In December, the Father of 4 album creator admitted to being in a “dark place” following Takeoff’s passing. Last week, Set tweeted, “🚀 come back bra!”

Ice Spice Earns First Hot 100 Chart Entry With “Gangsta Boo” Featuring Lil Tjay

Ice Spice already had the New York Times declaring her as “Hip Hop’s New Princess” earlier this month. Plus, Vevo and Spotify named her as a music act to watch for in 2023.

The Bronx-bred rapper now has her first Billboard Hot 100 hit. “Gangsta Boo” featuring fellow New Yorker Lil Tjay debuted at #82 on the latest Hot 100 chart. The track lives on the recently released Like..? EP.

Ice Spice named her song after the late Lola “Gangsta Boo” Mitchell. The Three 6 Mafia member passed away on January 1, 2023, at the age of 43. Spice spoke about creating the record with Lil Tjay as a guest feature.

“I made the song, and then I was just thinking who I would hear on it really. But I wanted it to be a real genuine collab,” said Ice Spice in an interview. “We’ve been friends since last year, so I was just like, ‘Yeah, who better than him?'”

The former State University of New York at Purchase student added, “We’re both from the Bronx. I made the song before [Gangsta Boo] passed. Right before, actually. So, yeah. That was a really sad, very exact coincidence.”

Ice Spice’s Like..? EP also hosts “Bikini Bottom,” “Munch (Feelin’ U),” and “In Ha Mood.” The latter two songs made it onto Billboard‘s Bubbling Under Hot 100 and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts. “Gangsta Boo” also charted on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs rankings.

Lola Brooke Joins A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s International Tour

Rising Brooklyn rap star Lola Brooke will take part in her first international tour as a supporting act for Bronx-bred rhymer A Boogie wit da Hoodie.

The “Me Vs Myself Tour” kicks off on February 7 in Denver. A Boogie wit da Hoodie and Lola Brooke will head back to their hometown of New York City for the final North American stop at the Barclays Center on March 4.

After crisscrossing America, the United Kingdom leg of the “Me Vs Myself Tour” begins on March 22 at O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, England. The March 23rd show in Birmingham and March 24th show in London are already sold out.

A Boogie wit da Hoodie’s Me vs. Myself studio LP came out on December 9, 2022. The album became A Boogie’s fourth Top 10 entry on the Billboard 200 chart. He previously peaked at No. 1 with 2019’s Hoodie SZN.

Legendary Rapper Lil Kim Brought Out Lola Brooke At Her NYC Concert

Lola Brooke made waves in Hip Hop circles thanks to the “Don’t Play With It” single featuring Billy B. The Arista Records-signed artist also linked with Flo Milli and Maiya The Don for the official “Conceited” remix.

Lola Brooke followed up the success of “Don’t Play With It” by dropping the “Here I Come” track. That song’s official music video is closing in on 1 million views on YouTube. Plus, “Here I Come” surpassed 1 million streams on Spotify.

In recent weeks, Brooke received a major co-sign when fellow Brooklynite and rap legend Lil Kim invited the up-and-comer to perform at the Harlem Festival Of Culture The Jump Off With Lil Kim And Friends 2023 event at the Apollo Theater.

Vic Mensa Releases Virgil Abloh-Inspired “Strawberry Louis Vuitton” Music Video

Chicago emcee Vic Mensa is back with his latest single. A music video for “Strawberry Louis Vuitton” made its way to the internet.

Vic Mensa’s “Strawberry Louis Vuitton” features R&B singer Maeta and bass guitarist/vocalist Thundercat. For the track’s official visuals, Mensa skydives in a custom recreation of a suit designed by the late Virgil Abloh

“I made ‘Strawberry Louis Vuitton’ while watching one of Virgil’s last [Louis Vuitton] films; the one with Saul Williams,” states Vic Mensa. “When I heard the sample it just spoke to me, so I chopped it, made the beat, and wrote the song on the spot. It was really a freestyle.”

The Roc Nation signee adds, “I always imagined Thundercat doing the bridge… We recorded it when he was on tour and I was doing my art show in Chicago. When Virgil passed away I kind of felt like he had given this song to me; the gift that keeps on giving, in a way.”

Virgil Abloh died from cancer on November 28, 2021, at the age of 41. He worked as the artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s menswear collection after founding the Off-White fashion label. Abloh was widely considered one of the most influential people in the fashion world.

Vic Mensa’s “Strawberry Louis Vuitton” is likely a precursor for an upcoming album by the 29-year-old recording artist. Previously, Mensa dropped The Autobiography studio LP in 2017. His catalog also contains the Innanetape mixtape as well as EPs such as There’s Alot Going On and The Manuscript.

Lil Keed’s Estate To Release Posthumous Single “Long Way To Go”

Raqhid “Lil Keed” Render passed away on May 13, 2022, at 24 years old. The Atlanta native’s family will present a new song titled “Long Way To Go” by the late rapper on February 3.

“On May 13, 2022 I lost my son Raqhid Render – who many of you knew as the artist Lil Keed. While this journey through the different phases of grief has been indescribably hard, a way that I have found to cope is through his music,” writes Lil Keed’s mother Tonnie “HoodMama” Woods-Reed.

She continues, “Right before his passing, Keed was hard at work at what would’ve been his highly anticipated next album Keed Talk To ‘Em 2. As much as he was a great father, son, and friend – he was also an artist who (thanks to many of you) lived and continues to live through his music.”

Woods-Reed adds, “With that being said, the time has come to share some of our last pieces of Keed with you all starting with the release of his first single “Long Way To Go” this Friday. This song holds a special place in my heart and as you guys will see it will reflect on many aspects of Keed’s journey here on Earth. I hope you all appreciate it as we take the first step in cementing Keed’s legacy. Long Live Keed!”

Before his death, Lil Keed dropped the studio albums Long Live Mexico in 2019 and Trapped on Cleveland 3 in 2020. He also released several mixtapes including 2018’s Keed Talk to ‘Em. Additionally, the YSL Records representative teamed with Lil Gotit and Lil Yachty for A-Team by producer Zaytoven.

Kid Cudi Once Called Drake “Corny,” There’s Been “Envy For Years” Says Consequence

While the public became aware of their beef in 2016, Consequence claims Kid Cudi “never” liked Drake and called him “f###### corny.”

In a recent interview with The Art of Dialogue, the NYC rapper gave his take on the alleged feud between the pair. He claims Cudi made the “corny’ comment while at Kanye West’s birthday party at a New York restaurant.

According to Consequence, Ye was commissioned to work on Drake’s “Best I Ever had” music video in 2009. Cons worked on the treatment alongside the G.O.O.D. Music founder and made a cameo in the visuals.

Later that year, he ended up sat between Kid Cudi and Drake at Ye’s party. Cons claimed Cudi wasn’t trying to hear Drizzy thanking them for welcoming him into their circle.

“Drake is like, ‘Yo, it’s just a pleasure to be around y’all and I appreciate y’all embracing me. I grew up watching all your videos. It’s a dream come true,’” Cons recalled. “Cudi right here like, ‘Man, f### that n####. That ngga’s p####, yo. Why he even here? F###’s wrong with this n####, man? Get this n#### the f### outta here, he’s so f###### corny.’”

And that’s not all. Consequence says the bad blood has existed “for years,” despite them working together.

“There’s been animosity, envy for years…It’s really crazy how it’s manifested over the years,” he added. “When I seen Cudi and Drake in the ‘Pursuit of Happiness’ , I was like, what I’ma do? Call Drake and be like, ‘Yo, you know he don’t really f### with you like that?’”

Furthermore, Consequence stated Kid Cudi has “never” liked Drake. He agreed with his host that “Day ‘n’ Nite” hitmaker is “jealous,” of the 6 God and believes the hostility comes from “a competitive rivalry” over “music, attention, clout and prestige.” Check out the clip below.

Consequence on Drake And Kid Cudi Beef

Rumblings of discontent first arose when Kid Cudi called out Drake in 2016, accusing him of being fake. Drizzy fired back on “Two Birds, One Stone,” where he took aim at Cudi’s mental health while Cudder was in rehab for depression.

“say it to [my] face p####,” Cudi tweeted from rehab. “You think it’s a game. I wanna see you say it to my face. I’ll be out soon. Promise.”

However, the pair seemed to have squashed the beef by 2021, collaborating on Certified Lover Boy track “IMY2.”

Tay-K Says He Witnessed A Murder In Jail Weeks After Complaining About His Treatment Behind Bars

Taymor “Tay-K” McIntyre continues to tweet from his legacy-verified Twitter account while serving a 55-year sentence for murdering a man in 2016.

In his latest update from behind bars, the Long Beach rapper claimed another prisoner killed their cellmate with a food tray.

“Dude in the cell by me killed his celly wit a tray n stood on his head,” Tay-K tweeted at the weekend. “Woah.”

“I’m locced up wit the hash slinging slasher,” he added.

Earlier this month, Tay-K, also awaiting a separate murder trial for allegedly shooting a man while participating in a robbery, complained of his treatment behind bars in a series of tweets.

“I’m [at] war within,” he wrote on the evening of Jan. 17. The 22-year-old followed up an hour later with “I feel like a hamster in here,” before adding, “They’re literally treating me like a ferret in here [right now].”

Tay-K Wants Another “Chance At Adulthood”

Tay-K also tweeted that he should get “a second chance at adulthood” while comparing his sentence to his white co-defendant.

“I bet if I was a lil white kid they wouldn’t have gave me no 55 years for a crime I was alleged to play the most insignificant role in when I was 16,” Tay-K penned on Jan. 5. “They woulda rightfully argued that my mind wasn’t fully developed and gave me rehabilitation and a 2nd (1st) chance at adulthood.”

He added, “one of my codefendants was a white girl who was 16 jus like me…they didn’t certify her as an adult but they certified me n pimp as adults, pimp got 30, I got 55, she ended up getting 10 years of probation without no deal…that girl @ home rn.”

Tay-K rose to prominence after his 2017 single “The Race” went viral. In 2019, he was sentenced to 55 years for the murder of 21-year-old Ethan Walker in 2016. He was also indicted on murder charges, accused of shooting 23-year-old Mark Anthony Saldivar in 2017 and is currently awaiting trial.

Sheek Louch “Can’t Accept” That Quentin Miller Wrote Lyrics For Nas On ‘King’s Disease II’

Sheek Louch is having a hard time accepting Quentin Miller wrote for Nas, despite him being a credited writer on Nas’ King’s Disease II song “The Pressure.”

When the topic came up during an interview with VladTV, the LOX member struggled to wrap his head around Miller writing for the legendary Queens emcee.

“When you say ‘wrote for him,’” Sheek Louch asked the host. “Like, wrote his lyrics, or came up with the hook? ‘Cause you know that s### matters. Like, say you did a hook for me, I’m cool with that. You can write a hook for me, hell yeah. If you say ‘I wrote those lyrics that people said was amazing,’ then it’s different.”

Quentin Miller On Writing For Nas

Vlad then played Louch a clip of Quentin Miller explaining how he ended up with writing credits for a Nas song. While Vlad tried to “clear it up,” by asking, “what exactly did you do on the song ‘The Pressure’?” Miller refused to be tied down by specifics. He also suggested he wrote for Nas on other unreleased tracks.

“Man, I was just a part of it,” he offered. “I don’t even want to do all that. I was a part of the song though, man, and people gon’ have to live with it. People are hurt, people still comment at me like ‘You lying.’ Yes, man, I did. I’m not saying it to hurt Nas’s legacy, I’m only a part of one song. I worked with Nas, I’m gonna leave it at that. That’s the only song I worked on with Nas that came out.”

Nonetheless, Sheek Louch maintained that he “can’t accept” Nas didn’t write his own raps even though he acknowledged other rappers in the industry use writers. but was willing to believe he could have written the hook. “I think [Nas] need to write everything that comes out his mouth,” he added. “Whoever write your rhymes might as well hold your microphone.” Check out the clip below and listen to “The Pressure” at the end of the page.

As reported by AllHipHop.com, Sheek Louch also discussed Young Thug’s RICO trial, accusing his co-defendants of snitching on him.

Latto Sells Her “Used” Panties On eBay, Fans Bid Almost $100,000

Latto decided to capitalize off a troll’s comment about her panties by offloading her used underwear on eBay.

A Twitter user called out the “Big Energy” rapper on Sunday (Jan. 29) for seemingly wearing the same pair of panties more than once. While Latto initially clapped back at the tweet, she slept on it and devised a better response.

On Monday evening, Latto revealed she would be selling the panties in question, or at least a similar pair, via an eBay auction.

“Auction live on eBay since I can’t wear them twice Link in bio,” Latto wrote in the caption of an Instagram post. She also shared an image of the eBay listing featuring her cheetah-print panties alongside a description: “Latto’s everyday cheetah print panties,” she wrote in the listing before adding, “Used” and “As seen on Latto multiple times.”

Latto opened the bidding at 99 cents, and various screenshots show bids had risen to over $95,000. More than 100 people entered the auction before Latto took the listing down.

She also gave her Ifans a glimpse inside her underwear drawer during an Instagram Live on Monday. The Grammy-nominated artist also explained that she has multiple pairs of the same cheetah-print panties.

“These are all my Target panties that caused such a discrepancy yesterday,” she stated. “So um, $5 at Target. Here’s the cheetah stash. So, that’s two, three, four, yeah, clean. Five. Oh look, this one has a brand new tag on it. So that’s cute.”

A Twitter user kicked off panty-gate on Sunday by sharing two images of the Ohio native wearing two different outfits but the same style of cheetah-print panties. “Can’t afford new panties ?” they questioned.

Latto responded, “Oh no, it’s the panty police.” She also changed her profile pic to an image of the offending panties.

Music Producer The ATG Assembles a Diverse Group of Talented Artists on “Detroit Cinematic”

Detroit-based super producer The ATG has assembled a diverse group of super talented artists on his Hip Hop compilation called the “Detroit Cinematic” album.

The ATG has become one of the most respected young composers in the music game due to his acclaimed work with Swifty McVay of D12 on the Devil’s Night soundtrack. In addition, he provided production on “Trap City” projects. Moreover, he has a long-standing working relationship with artist/actor Omar Gooding. Most recently, he collaborated with Chicago’s rap star Lil Reese to fully produce the “Demon Time” album. The ATG’s sound palette is intricate.

Flavor Flav Reveals He Spent Nearly $1M A Year On Drugs For 6 Years Before Getting Sober

Flavor Flav is reflecting on how substance abuse took over his life to the extent he was spending almost $1 million a year on drugs at the height of his addiction.

The Public Enemy founding member, who opened up about his struggles with drug addiction in his 2011 memoir Flavor Flav: The Icon The Memoir, celebrated two years of sobriety in October. During an episode of DJ Akademiks’ Off the Record podcast Flav revealed he “never really let people know exactly” how big the problem was.

“There was a time that I was spending $2,400 to $2,600 a day… for six years straight,” Flavor Flav admitted. “You do the math. That’s how much I spent on drugs.”

Flavor Flav Was His Own “Best Customer”

As he was spending almost a million dollars a year while under the grip of addiction, Flav was his own supplier.

“I ain’t gonna lie, I sold a lot. But I was my best customer,” he added. “I had a lot of money at the time too, I was just doing the wrong things with my money.”

Flavour Flav recalled that he “maintained myself very well” while at the height of his addiction and “kept it hidden too.” He explained that his faith helped him to quit using and begin his sobriety journey in 2020.

“I guess God wanted me to live. And he knows that I’m a mouthpiece to the world,” he said. “So, I feel that God let me live through that, so that way, I could teach people about the mistakes that I made. And hopefully, they won’t make them later on in life.”

Flav also had some words of advice: “Drugs are easy to get on, and they’re hard as hell to get off of.” He also urged today’s generation of rappers to be aware of how they portray drug taking in the lyrics. “Back in the days, when we used to make drug records, we used to talk about selling drugs,” he added.

R. Kelly Avoids Sex Abuse Charges – Here Is Why

Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx opted to drop sexual abuse charges against R. Kelly.

The prosecutor announced her office won’t pursue R. Kelly’s four pending criminal cases on Monday (January 30). Foxx cited “limited resources and court time” as the main factors for dismissing the charges.

“Mr. Kelly is potentially looking at the possibility of never walking out of prison again for the crimes he has committed,” Foxx said. “This office, in the pursuit of justice for the victims in our indictment – as well as those across the country – worked tirelessly to get us to this point. While today’s cases are no longer being pursued, we believe that justice has been served in the sentences that have already been handed down to Mr. Kelly as well as the sentence that will come down next month.”

R. Kelly, 56, was charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse in Cook County. The charges dated back to 1998 and involved at least three minors.

The disgraced singer was sentenced to 30 years in prison for sex trafficking and racketeering charges in New York. He awaits sentencing for a separate conviction in Chicago.

A Chicago jury found R. Kelly guilty of producing child pornography and coercing minors into criminal sexual activity. He faces 10 to 90 years in prison.
