Chief Keef Reacts To DJ Akademiks Claiming He Made His Career

A certain generation considers Chief Keef one of the most influential rappers of his era. DJ Akademiks also became popular on YouTube around the same time as Keef’s rise in the industry.

The War In Chiraq series by Akademiks covered the street violence in Chief Keef’s hometown of Chicago. It appears Ak believes he played a big role in several Chicago Drill artists breaking out as stars.

“I helped make Keef, n####. I gave them n##### reps they never had. I called that n#### the Chiraq Grim Reaper, that’s why when he’s getting shot at and s### happens to him, y’all are looking at it in disbelief,” said Akademiks in a re-surfaced video.

The controversial blogger continued, “You know why? Because I created that f###### vision that he was untouchable. So don’t do it like it’s one-sided. That’s what I’m trying to tell y’all. I’ve done a lot to create narratives and help rappers themselves.”

TMZ recently caught up with Chief Keef and asked him about DJ Akademik’s comments. The Finally Rich album creator seemed to dismiss what the Off The Record podcast host had to say.

Instead of directly responding to Ak’s claims, Chief Keef just imitated the YouTuber’s voice. He also repeated the phrase “the War on Chiraq” several times.

For his part, DJ Akademiks took issue with the cameraperson asking the questions. The media figure, who faces criticism for sensationalizing stories in Hip Hop culture, used his Instagram page to claim TMZ misled Chief Keef.

“Salute to Sosa for keeping it cool… TMZ hiring anybody these days. Lying on a n#### name. I ain’t ever say I made Sosa hot and I never called Sosa the grim reaper. How hard is it to quote [people] accurately,” wrote Akademiks. “I ain’t gonna go too hard cuz everybody makes mistakes, but TMZ lol how y’all gonna publish a video asking fake questions of made up quotes to get a clickbait response.”

Last week, Stormzy made an electrifying comeback after a nearly three-year-long hiatus with his new single, “Mel Made Me Do It.” His ground-breaking 11-minute-long video, a captivating display of Black British excellence, was likely a topic of discussion. The “Mel” in the song’s title is Stormzy, stylist Melissa Holdbrook-Akposoe who sat next to the rapper during the show.

After the models had walked, Kanye West chopped it up backstage with his ex-Irina Shayk, who featured on the Burberry runway. He also met up with Erykah Badu, who felt compelled to share a message of praise following their conversation.

Erykah Bady Honors Kanye West

“Art kids.. Badu x Ye supporting our friend @ricardotisci,” the songstress penned in the caption of a photo of her and Kanye. “By the way. Let me tell you about my friend Ye. No one is more beautiful and kind and creative. Was there at his mama home going.”

Her support comes amid Ye’s dispute with his fashion industry partners, Gap and Adidas. Last month, Kanye West accused the brands of “stealing his designs and lying to him.”

Despite suggesting last week that “there’s a possibility” of coming to an agreement with Adidas, on Monday, Kanye appeared to reignite the feud. Check out the story here at All.HipHop.Com.

“People don’t know what dating means,” she told HipHopDX this week of her relationship status with Diddy. “He’s single, I’m single, but we’re dating. That’s what I mean when I say we go together. When we’re together, we’re together. We’re having the time of our lives, but we’re still single.”

Jadakiss Reveals His “Top 5 Voices In Hip Hop”

While Jadakiss is considered one of the greatest rappers of all time, with one of the genre’s most distinct voices, he was keen to share his thoughts on the Top 5 artists with the best rap voices.

The Yonkers hitmaker was asked his opinion during the upcoming debut episode of Fresh Pair, hosted by legendary producer Just Blaze and streetwear designer Katty Customs.

Jadakiss was keen to answer the question, highlighting the importance of a commanding, unique voice.

“This show is amazing because nobody ever asked me who I think got the Top 5, or Top 3, or any type of voices,” said Jada. “And it took me a while—that’s like, education in music, just to know the different, sonically of people’s voices… Just somebody’s voice can add on what they bring to the table.”

Jadakiss, crowned AllHipHop.com’s 2021 Person Of The Year, then listed his favorites, highlighting the distinct tones of each one.

“Just unique voices for me, as I started learning about it, I think Guru, rest in peace, he had an ill voice,” the rapper continued. “[Method Man], you know, when the Wu came, Meth’s voice was deep and raspy and he has an ill voice. Big, with that nasal…it sounds like he’s having a hard time breathing but that’s making his cadence extra crazy. Tone Loc, gotta shout out Tone Loc. Tone Loc’s voice was ill.”

His final pick to round off the Top 5 went to Nas, who he rates for his nasal tone. Check out Jadakiss in the clip below.

A$AP Rocky decided to stage-dive into the crowd of fans but got more than he bargained for inside the mosh pit. The “F**kin’ Problems” rapper appeared visibly concerned in a clip that emerged online following the show.

Cardi B Admits She Lost A Multi-Million Dollar “Call of Duty” Deal Over Assault Case

Earlier this year, Cardi B teased an exciting collaboration with the video game series “Call of Duty,” wearing the game’s Ghost necklace during her “Hot S###,” music video.

“COD” publisher Activision shared the song, which also appeared to reference one of the game’s characters in the lyrics. “Ghost so popping, don’t gotta be introduced,” Cardi B raps. Fans speculated about Cardi’s involvement with the upcoming “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II,” due for release on Oct. 22.

Cardi B Teases “Call Of Duty” Deal

However, it turns out there was more to the deal. Cardi B revealed she missed out on being involved with one of the biggest gaming releases of the year. The Grammy Award winner took to Twitter on Tuesday (Sept. 27), to warn her fans not to let “stupid decisions” ruin potential opportunities.

“My stupid decisions from the past caused me to miss out on money now. I had a multi-million dollar Call of Duty deal on the table that I couldn’t take because of court. Guys think twice about those quick decisions! Lesson learned,” Cardi B admitted.

Earlier this month (Sept. 15), Cardi B pled guilty to two misdemeanor charges; third-degree assault and reckless endangerment. She admitted paying a friend $5,000 to beat up a pair of bartenders at a strip club in Queens. She was sentenced to 15 days of community service and placed on a three-year order of protection.

When a fans suggested she renegotiate the “Call of Duty” deal, Cardi revealed it’s too late. “I couldn’t make it cause of court couple weeks ago …I wasn’t  able to do the shoot on time,” she explained.

After sentencing, Cardi B said she’s learning to be accountable for her actions. She confessed to making “some bad decisions in my past that I am not afraid to face and own up to.”

She told TMZ, “I’m looking forward to moving past this situation with my family and friends and getting back to the things I love the most — music and my fans.”

Q Money Convicted Of Murder For Killing Sleeping Man

A Georgia jury found Q Money guilty of multiple charges, including murder, in the 2019 shooting death of Calvin “Scotty” Chappell.

Q Money was convicted on charges of malice murder and two counts of felony murder on September 23. He was also found guilty of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

The 26-year-old rapper, whose real name is Qamar Williams, shot and killed Chappell in Decatur, Georgia on April 15, 2019. The shooting was captured on home surveillance video.

“According to the investigation, the victim, Defendant Williams, and several other friends, went out to a club the night before,” the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office said in a news release. “The group of friends returned to the home around 5 o’clock the next morning. The victim went to bed and Defendant Williams went out to eat. When he returned home shortly after 6 a.m., Defendant Williams crept up on the victim as he slept on an air mattress in the living room and shot him more than half a dozen times, before fleeing the home.”

DeKalb County Superior Court Judge Nora Polk will sentence Q Money. A sentencing date hasn’t been scheduled as of yet.

Kodak Black Helps 28 Families Facing Eviction By Paying Their Rent

Kodak Black and his Zachariah McQueen Foundation provided assistance to families in West Palm Beach, Florida.

The 25-year-old rapper paid the rent of 28 families living in the Merry Place Housing Projects. Kodak Black covered their rent for the remainder of 2022 as well as any outstanding late fees.

“When people get up and go to work daily, they should be able to come home and relax without worrying if they would have a roof over their head the next month,” Kodak Black said in a press release. “But unfortunately, we live in a society where people can barely get a raise at work, but can be told that their rent has increased by over $1000 without any real warning. That’s just not right.”

He added, “I am truly blessed, and I have always had the mindset that my purpose is to bless others. So as long as I can, I will continue to bless others and give back to my community.”

Kodak Black helped families in his home state of Florida a month after donating $50,000 worth of water to Haiti.

The Atlantic Records rapper made his charitable contributions while out on bond. He was arrested for trafficking in oxycodone and possession of a controlled substance in July.

Diddy Vehemently Denies Firing Pregnant Caretaker

A woman sued Diddy for allegedly firing her for being pregnant.

According to TMZ, a nanny identified as Jane Roe claimed the Hip Hop mogul fired her after she requested maternity leave. She recalled his reps telling her that she “set a bad example” for his daughters because she got pregnant outside of marriage.

Jane Roe, who claims to be Kim Porter’s niece, said she became the full-time nanny for Diddy’s twins D’Lila and Jessie after Porter died in November 2018.

Porter was the mother of the twins. She and the Bad Boy Records founder had an off-and-on relationship, which began in the ‘90s.

Diddy reportedly asked the nanny to live in his estate following Porter’s death. Jane Roe was “responsible for the twins’ 24/7 care.”

The nanny asked for maternity leave after getting pregnant in August 2020. Diddy was allegedly “infuriated” and canned her around the time her sabbatical was supposed to begin.

Jane Roe filed her wrongful termination lawsuit against Diddy and Tri Star Sports, among others. She’s seeking an undisclosed amount in damages.

A spokesperson for Diddy reached out to AllHipHop and denied all of the allegations against him.

“This lawsuit is a meritless shakedown to extort money from Mr. Combs,” the spokesperson said in a statement. “Raven is not the niece of Kim Porter as she falsely alleges; nor is there any legal basis for this case to be filed under the anonymity as a ‘Jane Doe.’ Raven was a part-time babysitter to the twins who Mr. Combs kept on the job back in 2018 to provide continuity for the twins following the untimely death of their mother.”

The statement continued, “Mr. Combs graciously permitted Raven to live in his home with her son and treated them like ‘family.’ Her babysitting services were always intended to be temporary especially since the girls were getting older and spending most of the day at school. In fact, Raven’s transition out of her role was planned and agreed to by her long before she even mentioned that she was pregnant. Mr. Combs will take swift and immediate action to protect his family against these false claims.”

Azealia Banks Rips Nicki Minaj For Being “Obsessed” With Cardi B

Azealia Banks mocked Nicki Minaj for obsessing over Cardi B in two lengthy posts on Instagram Stories.

A month after accusing Nicki Minaj of trying to block a reality show, Azealia Banks condemned the Republic Records artist on Tuesday (September 27). The social media screed tackled Nicki Minaj’s longstanding feud with Cardi B.

“Nicki is so obsessed with Cardi it’s only making me like cardi more,” Azealia Banks wrote. “Like I’m perched for C2… Nicki is giving twenty levels of peasy black girl with the burnt perm who is jealous of the Spanish girl that just moved down the block.”

Azealia Banks said Nicki Minaj should’ve collaborated with Cardi B and other women instead of beefing with them. The outspoken rapper claimed Nicki Minaj’s behavior proved the Harajuku Barbie relied on “tokenism” throughout her career.

“A smart Nicki would have done the cardi, doja, Megan collabs smiled in their faces while safaree worked on her album in the background then came through and dominated,” Azealia Banks wrote. “Without showing the world how desperately you’ve relied on tokenism and sabotaging other black female rappers behind the scenes. Like it was an eassssssssy plan but no… We wanna feed the baby chicken bones, Defend white girls in blackface, And give sex offender p###.”

Kim Kardashian Flooded With Dating Offers From Lawyers And Doctors

Kim Kardashian sees herself dating “absolutely no one.”

During an appearance on “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” the reality TV personality insisted that she is happily single and has no plans to get out in the dating scene.

“I’m not looking for anything,” she stated. “I think I really just need to be by myself and focus and finish school and (focus on) my kids.”

Kim is now halfway through completing her law degree.

Earlier this month, the SKIMS founder joked that she was keen to date a doctor or lawyer as part of an interview for “The Late Late Show with James Corden.”

But while chatting to Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest this week, Kim revealed that the comment backfired as “a bunch” of men had “reached out” to her, but she is “just not ready” for romance.

Meanwhile, Kelly advised Kim to date an industry “titan.”

“It’s a very small field but he’s out there,” the TV host asserted.

Kim split from boyfriend Pete Davidson in August. Previously, the star was married to Kanye West from 2014 until she kicked off divorce proceedings in early 2021. The former couple shares four children.

As a prominent producer of unique blends, both medicinal and recreational, The Cure Company worked closely with rapper Nipsey Hussle to cultivate the strain Marathon O.G., named after a series of classic mixtapes delivered by the rapper.

“We were meeting a lot of people every day, and he was really somebody from the community that I did want to meet. Kevin Hart Says “The World” Needs To Let Will Smith And Chris Rock Recover After Shocking Oscars Slap

Kevin Hart has voiced support for Will Smith in the wake of him slapping Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars.

During the live telecast in March, fans were shocked when the “King Richard” actor walked onto the stage and slapped Rock after he compared his wife Jada Pinkett Smith – who has the medical condition alopecia – to G.I. Jane.

During a recent episode of “Drink Champs,” Kevin Hart was asked for his take on the incident, and accordingly, he claimed that Will Smith deserves a break from the criticism.

“Dark times deserve f###### great light,” he began. “I’m not gonna s### on my brother. They both are my brothers, but I’m not gonna take the time to s### on them. Here’s why: Will Smith is a f######… he’s not only a legend, he’s not only a GOAT (Greatest of All Time)… Will Smith is the reason why the idea of African-Americans attached to global IP (intellectual property) is normal.”

The “Me Time” star continued, “Studios took the gamble on more leads of color because of the work that Will Smith (and) Denzel (Washington) were doing in the beginning… So, I’m not gonna s### on Will and act like he hasn’t been, and wasn’t, that guy.”

Elsewhere, Kevin Hart insisted that it’s time for people to give Will Smith and Chris Rock space.

“This is no longer the world’s problem, it’s Will and Chris’s problem. Let them deal with that. The world should step out of it and let them recover,” he concluded.

Smith apologized to Academy members and his peers during his acceptance speech for Best Actor at the film event and followed it up with a lengthy apology on Instagram the next day.

The 54-year-old subsequently resigned from the Academy and was banned from attending the Oscars for 10 years.

Nicki Minaj Goes Off On Instagram In Wake Of YouTube Age Restriction On New Video

Nicki Minaj called out YouTube officials on Monday for putting an age restriction on her “Likkle Miss Remix” music video, and now she’s coming for Instagram too.

Nicki took to Instagram to reveal that she had received a violation notice from YouTube officials who deemed her video unsuitable for viewers under the age of 18. Due to the restriction, her video would not be visible to under-18s, those using Restricted Mode, or those who were logged out.

Alongside a screenshot of the notice, Nicki accused YouTube bosses of being “in bed” with rival labels.

“Imagine this. They restricted my f###### video but have things a million f###### times worse on their bogus f###### platform,” Nicki Minaj wrote. “This is what they do to keep you from winning while doing ads for other ppl and posting fake f###### stats. Because the same ppl who run YouTube are in bed with a certain record label and mngmnt company (sic).”

In a second post, she added, “This was done to stop us from getting a lot of views in the first 24 hours. The duds at my label allow ppl to use my videos all the time to promote weak s### but said we can’t buy promo for my videos.”

She also shared a screengrab of a comment she wrote on YouTube underneath her video. Her post reads, “WHY TF (the f**k) YALL RESTRICT MY FKING VIDEO?!?!!”

Nicki deleted her posts after YouTube officials lifted the age restriction on the video.

Responding to a fan who celebrated the removal on Monday, Nicki tweeted, “F### THEM DUDS. THEY CANT GIVE US BACK OUR FIRST 24 HOURS CAN THEY?!?!!! SO MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.”

The “Likkle Miss Remix” video, which was released on Sunday, stars Nicki and her collaborator Skeng and depicts dancers twerking and performing sexually suggestive moves.

The rapper agreed with a fans claims that Instagram was blocking her fans from receiving notifications when she posted, but they still received them from people they were not engaging with.

“THEY ALL IN ON IT BOO,” Nicki fumed, while tagging Instagram. “Welp we know the answer to that too now don’t we??!??! Chiiiiiiii when y’all see what the rock is fkng cooking for these corporations,” the rapper added.

DJ Akademiks Talks 21 Savage Helping To End His Beef With Meek Mill

Hot take creator DJ Akademiks has been in the news a lot lately. Before upsetting some old-school Hip Hop fans and catching some pushback from T.I. for his Twitch rant about Reginae Carter, Ak was embroiled in a heated back-and-forth with Meek Mill.

As far back as 2017, Meek Mill publicly expressed his frustrations with DJ Akademiks. Three years later, the Dream Chasers leader called on Hip Hop followers to expel the outspoken blogger from the culture.

“Akademiks canceled because he’s a bad police and our culture don’t need them… He also gassed a lot of beef that got people killed and hurt and never donated a dollar to the culture! We gone holla at you next run champ lol,” tweeted Meek in 2020.

Akademiks fired back at Meek Mill by suggesting the Philadelphia native was attacking him because he was too afraid to address 6ix9ine. Ak also brought up Meek’s connection with Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez, a reported cooperating witness for the Drug Enforcement Administration in the 1990s.

It appears the beef between DJ Akademiks and Meek Mill has cooled off. During a sit-down with The Breakfast Club, Ak spoke about how another prominent rap star played a role in settling the bad blood.

“Me and Meek cool. We’re good now. I believe we’re good,” DJ Akademiks told DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God. “A wise man once told me, you don’t ever know if you’re really good with someone until you see them in person. But we did talk.”

Akademiks also said, “21 Savage did something I thought was very dope. He gave this explanation. He said, ‘When two friends are going at it if it goes far enough, you got to pick a side.’ And he basically said it was going to a point where he was going to be forced to be like, ‘Yo, are you really rocking with this n#### Ak or you rocking over here?’”

Apparently, 21 Savage eventually played the role of peacemaker between the two sides. Ak added, “He put us on the phone, and I got to salute Meek as well because I don’t think a younger Meek Mill would’ve been on the phone. I think Meek has shown a little bit of growth.”

According to DJ Akademiks, he and Meek Mill agreed to stop the “petty b#######” playing out on social media. The Off the Record podcast host went on to admit that both men will not likely be best friends but the situation can be amicable.

Akademiks closed out his comments by stating, “I thought that was a grown man discussion and I enjoyed it, and I appreciate 21 Savage for facilitating it.” The Breakfast Club interview also featured Ak discussing the backlash he received for calling Hip Hop pioneers “dusty.”

Pusha T Disses McDonald’s With Arby’s “Rib Roast” Track [VIDEO]

Virginia-bred emcee Pusha T is back with another fast food-themed song. The Clipse member partnered with Arby’s for a diss track and music video called “Rib Roast.”

Pusha T’s song celebrates the return of Arby’s REAL Country-Style Rib Sandwich. Plus, the fast food restaurant chain and the veteran rapper collaborated on a limited-edition “country-style” merch collection (see photos below).

“We are on a mission to call out weak sandwiches of questionable quality, and there is no other product that can compare to our REAL Country-Style Rib Sandwich or is worthy of Pusha T’s praise,” says Jim Taylor, President of Arby’s.

Taylor continues, “We’ve spent years perfecting the intricate smoked rib flavors and are proud to have Pusha remind people why Arby’s has the meats -and smokes the competition.”

Back in February, Pusha T earned his first #1 solo studio LP on the Billboard 200 chart with It’s Almost Dry. That album collected 55,000 first-week units. Kanye West, Jay-Z, Pharrell Williams, Kid Cudi, Lil Uzi Vert, Malice, and more artists appeared on the project.

“Rap Album of the year. Sandwich of the year. Simple as that -we both give you quality straight from the kitchen!” says Pusha T. “I love the work I’ve been doing with Arby’s – this time around we have to chef up something different and give everyone quality country-inspired merch to go along with the rib sandwich.”

Back in March, Pusha T took direct aim at McDonald’s Filet-O-Fish. According to reports, Arby’s Spicy Fish sandwich campaign with King Push generated over $8 million in equivalent advertising exposure. The REAL Country-Style Rib Sandwich will be available for a limited time at participating locations nationwide.

Megan Thee Stallion Blasts Blogs For Spreading A Negative Narrative

Megan Thee Stallion is one of the most recognizable mainstream rappers at the moment. In addition to making hit records, Megan’s personal life has become regular news over the last several years.

Last week, DaBaby added more fuel to the gossip fire surrounding Megan Thee Stallion. The North Carolina native used his new Baby on Baby 2 album to make allegations about his “Cry Baby” collaborator.

“The day before she said that Tory Lanez shot her, I was f###### on Megan Thee Stallion. Waited to say that s### on my next album. Hit it the day before, too. But I kept it player, I ain’t say nothing ’bout it,” rapped DaBaby on his “Boogeyman” song.

Numerous media outlets then reported that Megan reacted to DaBaby’s lyrics during her set at the iHeartRadio Music Festival. However, the Hot Girl Coach claims her comments about doing what she wants with her body were not a response.

“I feel like a lot of these blogs don’t post me until it’s something they know [a] majority of their audience can dog pile on me for [being] associated with some kind of negative narrative… [because] why is the way I start my performance to ‘Body’ damn near every show news NOW…,” tweeted Megan Thee Stallion.

She added, “I really don’t care [about] being posted AT ALL but why is it that all of a sudden out of the 1 million positive things I do/have done it only seems like when something negative happens that’s news? Like positive Megan Thee Stallion content is there lol why ignore it?”

Megan Thee Stallion does have some positive news happening. She recently launched a mental health resource website called Bad B###### Have Bad Days Too. The Traumazine album creator will also serve as host and musical guest for the October 15 episode of Saturday Night Live.

Letitia Wright Talks Not Getting To Say Goodbye To Chadwick Boseman

The world lost accomplished actor Chadwick Boseman on August 28, 2020. Boseman’s Black Panther co-stars, including Letitia Wright, had to film the movie’s sequel without him.

Tamron Hall invited Letitia Wright as a guest on her daytime talk show. The conversation included Wright discussing Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. She also reflected on Chadwick Boseman’s death.

“So when this unfortunate event happened [getting injured on set] and I had to take about three months out, I went back home and my mom received me with tears in her eyes and I just had to sit with myself and decide ‘how are you going to bounce back from this? How are you going to get back on the set to fulfill your purpose that God blessed you with?’ And I could hear [Chadwick Boseman] just tell me that I could do it. I didn’t feel like I could do it. I didn’t feel like I could go back,” said Wright.

The 28-year-old actess added, “I admired his journey even more because he dealt with something that we didn’t know about until he passed away and I’m trying to contain it, but I never got to say goodbye to my brother [Boseman] so just going through that situation, it was another opportunity for leadership and strength to come out and just for him to be such a leader at a time when he was facing so much. I just felt like once I got the healing I needed and I went back, I finished stronger.”

Chadwick Boseman passed away due to complications from colon cancer. He was 43 years old. Before his death, Boseman also starred in movies such as Get on Up, Captain America: Civil War, 21 Bridges, and Da 5 Bloods. Netflix’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom was Boseman’s final film.

Letitia Wright’s Suri character will appear in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The cast also includes Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Winston Duke, Martin Freeman, Angela Bassett, and others. Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will arrive in theaters on November 11, 2022.

Kanye West Issues A Warning To Adidas: “I Been Nice Til Now”

Kanye West announced it’s time to “get your popcorn,” after sending a message to Adidas, warning them playtime is over.

Last week the Yeezy founder suggested that there’s a chance he and Adidas can salvage their working relationship. However, Ye is back on the offensive now. Kanye West has been engaged in a feud with Adidas and the company’s CEO Kasper Rørsted since the summer.

During a recent interview, Kanye West said they can still come to an agreement despite his accusations that Adidas is ripping off his designs.

“There’s a possibility (we) can co-parent products that we make,” Kanye explained to Forbes. “But not in a way where I’m not getting say-so over colorways, and where they’re treating me like I’m dead,”

However, the rapper turned designer returned to addressing the brand via Instagram on Monday (Sept. 26).

“Adidas,” Kanye West wrote in a message on his IG Story. “You talk to me first about any decisions about Yeezy.”

Ye then informs, “I been nice,” up to this point, but “this is for my kids now.” He said he’s also fighting for “every creative kid that ever was bullied.”

When speaking to Bloomberg earlier this month, Kanye West said he would continue to build his fashion empire independently, without Gap or Adidas.

“It’s time for me to go it alone,” Ye explained. “It’s fine. I made the companies money. The companies made me money. We created ideas that will change apparel forever.”

Just days later, Kanye accused Gap of blocking his Paris Fashion Week show after ending their two-year contract.

“Magically No production companies have been willing to produce my YZYSZN9 fashion show in Paris on October 3rd,” he wrote.
