Jamie Foxx Prepping Legal War Against Odd Future Member Over Glass Throwing Incident

Jamie Foxx is gearing up for a legal battle with a founding member of rap collective Odd Future following an altercation at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills that turned his 57th birthday celebration into a scene of chaos.

The Academy Award-winning actor and musician was struck in the mouth by a glass allegedly thrown by Davon Lamar Wilson, better known as Jasper Dolphin.

In addition to his role with Odd Future, Jasper Dolphin is also an actor and a stuntman for the Jackass franchise.

The incident, now the subject of an ongoing Los Angeles Police Department investigation, occurred on December 13 during Foxx’s private dinner with family and friends.

Upstairs, the Jackass team was celebrating their annual holiday gathering.

According to sources, tensions flared after someone from the upstairs group allegedly shone a penis-shaped laser pointer at Foxx’s table, prompting the entertainer to confront them.

Heated words quickly gave way to physical action, with a glass reportedly thrown from the direction of the Jackass group, striking Jamie Foxx in the face and causing injuries requiring stitches.

Police initially classified the episode as an assault with a deadly weapon but later reclassified it as a physical altercation.

Jamie Foxx, who has remained relatively “tight-lipped” about the confrontation, took to Instagram two days later, sharing a cryptic yet defiant message: “The devil is a lie. Can’t win here—thank you to everybody that pray and check on me. When your light is shining bright—they try to bring you darkness—but they don’t know that you’re built for it—the lights have been shining bright.”

The entertainer is reportedly working closely with local authorities as they continue their investigation and has plans to file a lawsuit against the alleged assailant.

Charges have not yet been filed, and police have not officially named any suspects.

EXCLUSIVE: Damon Dash Facing More Financial Turmoil—Movies Could Hit Auction Block

Damon Dash is grappling with the possibility of more assets being auctioned off to satisfy mounting debts.

A recent court-ordered sale of his one-third ownership stake in Roc-A-Fella Records fetched $1 million at a federal auction in Manhattan, but the proceeds fell short of addressing his sprawling financial obligations.

Dame’s foray into the legal quagmire traces back to a defamation and copyright infringement lawsuit brought by plaintiffs Josh Webber and Muddy Water Pictures.

The filmmaker and production company secured judgments totaling $823,284.71 after alleging unpaid debts tied to Damon’s attempt to hijack the film “Dear Frank.”

His stake in Roc-A-Fella was put on the auction block to satisfy this judgment, $193,000 in back child support, a lawsuit filed by photographer Monique Bunn, another by a writer named Edwyna Brooks and a massive $8 million tax debt to the state of New York.

Although the minimum bid for the Roc-A-Fella sale was $1.2 million, New York State acquired Dash’s shares for $1 million using a creditor bid.

From that sum, New York City received $193,877.57 in back child support, while New York State allocated $1,702,626.34 toward Damon Dash’s outstanding taxes.

This left Webber and Muddy Water Pictures—initially owed the $823,284.71 judgment with interest—without settlement, alongside other creditors still awaiting payments.

According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, Damon Dash could soon see other valuable personal property, including his Poppington business and copyrights tied to films he produced, put on the auction block.

Webber and lawyer Christopher Brown are seeking ownership documents from Damon Dash and an order forcing him to deliver them to the United States Marshal.

If Poppington cannot be sold, Brown is asking a judge for permission to sell movies like “We Went to… China,” “Welcome to Blackroc” and “Honor Up,” which was executive produced by Kanye West.

These assets are integral to Poppington LLC, Dash’s media company and air on his television network, America Nu.

Should additional works go to auction, creditors may face the same challenges of competing for limited proceeds with higher-priority claims, such as the rest of the unpaid state taxes.

Tory Lanez Fights Megan Thee Stallion Over “Abuse” Of Legal System

Tory Lanez might be serving a decade-long prison sentence for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in 2020, but he is still embroiled in a legal battle for allegedly harassing the Grammy-winning rapper.

Megan has accused Tory Lanez of orchestrating targeted attacks against her from behind bars via third-party associates, prompting her to file for a restraining order last week.

Megan Thee Stallion filed the request on December 17, alleging that Lanez enlisted bloggers and others to spread falsehoods about her, which she described as causing “severe emotional distress” and tarnishing her reputation.

In her request, Megan said Tory Lanez was engaging in “psychological warfare” and that she “sometimes wishes Tory would have shot and killed me, if I would have known I was going to go through this torture.”

Tory Lanez, however, has denied the allegations, labeling her claims as baseless and an attempt to manipulate legal processes.

In the latest legal wrangling between the two rappers, the legal team for Lanez replied to Megan, accusing Megan of “weaponizing the justice system.”

“When celebrity with millions of dollars and backed by large corporation disagrees with free speech or opinions, they weaponize the justice system, failing to understand that they are public figures, who voluntarily catapulted themselves into the limelight, unable to deal with the controversy and public opinions,” according to the filing.

They further allege Megan’s request aims to silence opinions rather than engage in public discourse.

This latest legal clash revisits the tensions stemming from a July 2020 incident in which Megan accused Lanez of shooting her in the feet following an argument as they left a Hollywood party hosted by Kylie Jenner.

Initially reluctant to come forward, Megan later publicly identified Lanez as the shooter. He was convicted in December 2022 on three felony counts, including assault with a semiautomatic firearm, and sentenced in August 2023.

Despite their acrimonious history, Tory Lanez’s attorneys fired back by insisting their client is “no longer a threat” and has had no direct contact with Megan since his conviction.

The court will address the restraining order on January 9, 2025.

Kanye West Caught In Another Antisemitic Controversy As Jews Celebrate Hanukkah

Exactly one year after Kanye West apologized in Hebrew for antisemitic remarks, the rapper, who prefers to go by Ye, is embroiled in controversy once again.

As Jewish communities around the world mark the celebration of Hanukkah, Kanye has come under fire for the release of a new Yeezy clothing line, which critics allege features imagery reminiscent of Nazi symbolism.

The collection, launched on December 26, includes affordable T-shirts, hoodies and jackets priced at $20 apiece, adorned with minimalist designs and Russian text.

However, it’s the presence of a logo resembling the Wolfsangel, a Nazi-linked symbol, that has sparked outrage. The design choice has reignited accusations that West is deliberately perpetuating white supremacist and neo-Nazi ideologies.

Some people on social media were quick to condemn the designs, especially given his history of antisemitic public statements.

The backlash is an echo of events that began in October 2022, when Kanye posted a tweet declaring he would go “death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE” and compounded the fallout by asserting that Black people are the “real Jews.”

The situation deteriorated further in December 2022 during an incendiary appearance on InfoWars, where Kanye praised Adolf Hitler, denied the Holocaust and shared a s####### entwined with a Star of David on social media.

For a brief moment in December 2023, West seemed to acknowledge the harm caused by his actions, issuing a rare apology in Hebrew.

The fallout from his actions has extended well beyond public outrage.

adidas, which collaborated with West on the multi-billion-dollar Yeezy brand, severed ties with him in October 2022, citing a violation of their core values.

The partnership’s termination immediately cost the company an estimated $250 million, placing his finances under significant strain and reducing his billionaire status to a net worth of around $400 million.

The timing of the current controversy, coinciding with the eight-day festival of Hanukkah, has only deepened the sense of hurt among many in the Jewish community.

J.I.D Explains How J. Cole Elevated His Lyrical Ability & Why He Thinks Battle Rappers Are King

J.I.D just revealed the appreciation he has for both battle rappers and his big homie J. Cole in one fell-swoop in a new interview.

Dreamville’s lyrical powerhouse recently stopped by Way Up with Angela Yee, where he opened up about how label founder J. Cole helped elevate his craft and shared his high regard for battle rappers, who he thinks are at the top of the lyrical food chain.

The candid interview shed light on the creative process behind J.I.D’s razor-sharp rhymes and his love for the art of freestyle. J.I.D kicked things off speaking about how his dedication to honing his skills has led him to experimenting with different writing techniques, including cutting at least 30 freestyles.

“I learned this from Cole,” J.I.D said, crediting the Dreamville mastermind for his relentless work ethic. “Maybe it’s like one of the things he told me, always like trying to perfect your craft. So I learned this years ago. I’m just trying to knock it out like a song, like just don’t stop. Don’t think, just line for line. If you got the next line, just go into it and then pick up from there.”

Reflecting on his journey, J.I.D revealed how Cole’s advice encouraged him to dive deeper into the creative process. Instead of overthinking, he’s embraced a more spontaneous and fluid approach to songwriting.

“This is just more of a practice,” he explained. “Repetition, trying it. Whatever way I can just get it done.”

The Atlanta-bred rapper also shared his admiration for battle rappers, whom he described as “the best rappers on earth.” He fondly reminisced about the Smack DVD era, a cornerstone of the battle rap scene.

“Straight up,” he emphasized. “Those ones, oh my god. That’s how I started it.”

J.I.D’s passion for the raw, competitive nature of battle rap shines through as he hinted at his confidence to compete in such arenas. “It’s a whole list of folks I could eat up for that,” he quipped.

When asked about his recent flurry of freestyles, J.I.D revealed he’s been keeping busy with back-to-back recordings and laid out his plans to release the 30 freestyles he’s crafted so far.

“I’m put them out, the ones I did before 30,” he explained. “The ones I did before wasn’t as good. It was just practice, like I was saying, so I probably won’t do nothing with them. But I’m gonna just keep going. When this one hit like a million views on YouTube, I’m just drop another one.”

In case you missed it, J.I.D started the year last January with his “30 (Freestyle)” which saw him receive rave reviews from his fellow rap peers such as Russ and his Dreamville labelmate Cozz.

2024: One Year Of Exciting & Horrific Reveals (Part 1)

We had more big reveals than a Tolkien thriller just in the first half of 2024.

One explosive revelation after another wracked the consciences of many Americans. Much of it has been entertaining fodder for memes, podcasts and urban-flavored gossip rags.

Although we can’t help laughing at the audacious and dramatic nature of these happenings, some of them could shape our society for decades to come.

A question that lingered at the top of the year was: “Can a convicted felon be president of the United States?” We got our answer, resoundingly. We also witnessed the toppling of a Hip-Hop, business, fashion, and communications empire through the perceived unmasking of icon Sean “Diddy” Combs.  Everything hit us like a gravelly snowball from there on.

Exciting

Is The Kendrick Lamar Vs. Drake The Greatest Battle of All-Time? Perhaps.

Some believe it was one of the greatest rap battles of all time, a clash of titans that has been more than a decade in the making. Drake and Kendrick Lamar first collaborated on Drake’s “Take Care.” Kendrick has been using lyrics as precision munitions on Big Sean’s “Control” and in the BET Awards Cypher.

A back-and-forth “cold war” of sorts spanned years but nothing significant really happened. That all changed when Drake and J. Cole appeared on “First Person Shooter” together.  Cole’s bars weren’t a diss, but many believed they were the catalyst for Kendrick Lamar’s awakening.

Kendrick retaliated by going in on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That.” The next day, Drake seemingly responds to K. Dot with “It’s All a Blur.”

In April, Drake dropped “Push Ups” and followed up with “Taylor Made Freestyle.” Kendrick returned fire with “euphoria,” which many are still referring to as an all-time greatest diss record, and “6:16 in LA.”

Drake fired back with “Family Matters” less than a day later, to which Kendrick responded with “Meet the Grahams.” The rapid-fire frequency of these diss records led many to believe these salvos were already created by each rapper in anticipation of a battle, like nuclear warheads in a mutually assured destruction doctrine.

“Not Like Us,” released on May 4, was Kendrick’s fourth Drake diss in the battle that was now a rap war. Drake released “The Heart Pt. 6” on May 5, but many believed it was too little too late. “Not Like Us” topped the Billboard Hot 100 on May 13, solidifying Kendrick’s victory over Drake in this wildly unexpected but entertaining and cathartic rap t##-for-tat. Nobody saw it coming, but everybody was glad it did.

Horrific

Diddy’s Chickens Come Home to Roost

Diddy’s year began on a tumultuous note. Some may recall, back when the “Me Too” movement was in full swing, many who were around during the heyday of Bad Boy would wax poetically on social media about the comeuppance that Hip-Hop moguldom was due for.

On February 26, producer Rodney Jones Jr. (also known as Lil Rod) accused Diddy of sexual assault and drugging.  He alleged Diddy forced him to work in a bathroom while he showered and walked around naked. He also alleged Diddy grabbed his genitals without consent, attempted to groom him, forced him to have sex with another man, and to solicit sex workers and perform sexual acts. In his lawsuit, Jones alleges he wasn’t paid for his work on Diddy’s latest album, “The Love Album: Off the Grid.”

In March, Diddy’s home in Miami was raided and federal authorities had his sons in cuffs. Many assumed if federal authorities had anything on him, they would’ve arrested him at the time. But pressure applied in one area can ultimately reveal deficiencies in another.

Just as that story began to fade from public consciousness, a 2016 video showed Diddy beating ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in the hallway of a Los Angeles hotel as she tried to flee. Kicks, punches and vile energy may be the death blow to his reign of terror.

Though the statute of limitation means that he might not face any charges for his indiscretion, the court of public opinion has no such limitations.

Horrific

Pray For Peace in Gaza

Though AllHipHop focuses on Hip-Hop music and culture, it would be a journalistic misstep to write a piece encapsulating the year thus far without mentioning the deaths of the tens of thousands of innocent people in the ongoing Gaza-Hamas War, and the Palestinian citizens who had nothing to do with the October 7 strike on Southern Israel.

More than 1,180 Israeli citizens were killed during the Hamas attack. The resulting Israeli military action has resulted in the deaths of at least 37, 164 Palestinians as of June. On June 11, Hamas agreed to a UN Security Council ceasefire resolution. It would not last.

Horrific

The Trump Follies

On January 26, a New York jury ruled that Donald Trump must pay writer E. Jean Carroll a Queen’s ransom of $83.3 million for defamation. The following month, Trump was ordered to pay a fine of $454 million and barred from owning and running a business in New York for three years.

On May 30, Trump was on the wrong side of the legal system yet again after being found guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business reports and concealing damaging information, stemming form the alleged payoff of $130,000 to former adult film star and escort Stormy Daniels. The legal decision makes him the first former United States president to be convicted of a crime.

In the second half of 2024, the old African American adage “hell with gasoline draws” would be a proper epithet to describe the situation; federal court ruling, an assassination attempt on Donald J. Trump, Vice President Kamala Harris becomes the first Black or Asian woman to be granted the Democratic nominee for President, Sean “Diddy” Combs is arrested, Kendrick Lamar’s coupe-de-grace is triple-fold, Jay-Z is hit with some ill charges, and a new American folk hero emerged. We will give you the rundown on all that and much more in Part 2 of this summary of the big stories of 2024, each had us collectively saying “Oh, SNAP!”

Yasiin Bey & The Alchemist Announce New Album “Forensics”

Yasiin Bey, the artist formerly known as Mos Def, is making his long-awaited return to music with a new album titled Forensics, set to release in 2025. The project is a collaboration with acclaimed producer The Alchemist and marks Bey’s first official album in nearly two decades.

His last album was 2006’s True Magic. Fans of Bey have eagerly anticipated new music, and the partnership with The Alchemist promises to deliver thought-provoking bars and killer production.

Details are scant, but fans did not hold back expressing enthusiasm on the internet.

“Real music is back,” one person said.

“I wasn’t expecting this but it’s NEEDED!!! LETS GO!!! New Yasiin Bey music in 2025 was most definitely in my bucket list,” a Twitter user stated with glee.

One person took a more humorous take stating, “I’m a manager at Target, I’m playing this sh#t in there.”

The comment is rooted in a 2024 remark Bey said about Drake, likening the Canadian’s music played in retail stores like Target. Following backlash, Bey addressed the uproar in a 25-minute video posted to his Instagram on Monday (Jan. 29), offering a partial apology to Drake while clarifying his remarks.

Fans will have to wait and hear if the project with The Alchemist is sonically compatible with retail stores. There will be a live show in Paris in January that will correspond with the new music. See the details below.

Beyoncé’s Mom & Tomi Lahren Form Chance United Front Against NFL Halftime Show Trolls

Believe it or not, well-known MAGA train, right wing political commentator Tomi Lahren is taking a stand against Beyoncé haters in the same sort of fashion as her own mother.

Their unexpected united front against the haters took its final form on Friday (December 27), when Ms. Tina Knowles reposted a brief rant praising Beyoncé’s Christmas Day Halftime performance for the NFL in her hometown of Houston during the Texans and Ravens games. In agreement with the post she re-shared, Knowles offered her unapologetic opinion of the flack Queen Bey has been receiving following her record-breaking performance in a lengthy caption message to her four million-plus Instagram followers.

“Repost : My sentiments exactly!” Knowles wrote in part. “It is mind-boggling to me that you would take your precious Christmas day and watch a performance of someone you hate and you don’t think has talent so that you can go talk ish about it later [crying laughing emojis].”

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by AllHipHop (@allhiphopcom)

Knowles continued, “Obviously you are so obsessed with them , addicted to them , and secretly admire them , wish you could be them, that you cannot help but to watch and critique and comment and say dumb ridiculous stuff that makes you look like a joke !!”

She added, “So go to another channel when it’s halftime watch goofy cartoons or Bozo the clown or something you can relate to and see yourself in.”

Knowles concluded the snippy message by writing about how she’s learned a valuable lesson from how her daughter is handling all of the criticism — seemingly reavealing Beyoncé’s indifference on the matter in the process.

“Said with love [heart emoji] PS I have learned so much from her warrior spirit, of when they go low I work harder “No weapon formed against me shall prosper” one ,two , three waiting for the fake bots to come”.

Prior to Knowles’ remarks, the buffer blocking Beyoncé from the Xmas Halftime show haters began to materialize when Tomi Lahren thwarted trolls from her Twitter timeline with a tweet swatting their fake outrage into the ether of the app.

“Can we stop with the faux outrage about Beyoncé?” Lahren wrote in part.

She continued, seemingly doing damage control, writing, “I’m not her biggest fan either, but she put on a good performance and she is immensely talented. As conservatives, we don’t have to be outraged by everything, it’s a tired charade.”

Beyoncé helped redefine the limits of live entertainment on Christmas Day as her dazzling halftime performance during Netflix’s NFL broadcast propelled the streaming giant to an all-time viewership milestone. Her nearly 13-minute set, filled with electrifying renditions of hits from her chart-topping album Cowboy Carter, not only captivated audiences at Houston’s NRG Stadium but also helped Netflix achieve its highest global reach for a live sports event.

Cardi B Likens Herself To R&B Star Keyshia Cole As She Enters “Heartbreak” & “Down Bad” Era

Cardi B got fans talking after her latest livestream, where she drew a surprising parallel between herself and R&B star Keyshia Cole.

While the “WAP” rapper was enjoying a meal with some of her off-camera associates, she explained her rationale using her signature humor. In short, she expressed her belief that Cole’s love life bares an unparalleled resemblance to that of her own. She even started off by blaming astrology for their shared struggles.

“Every time Keyshia [Cole] go through some s#it, me and Offset go through some s#it,” Cardi declared. “It’s like a Libra connection.”

She doubled down on the cosmic link between herself and Cole, pointing out, “You don’t see how that b#tch is?” she questioned. “You don’t see her appearance? That’s illegal.”

A post shared by Watch Live Bitez (@livebitez)

Cardi also suggested that the stars have been working against her and her fellow Libras lately and pinpointed the constellation chaos eerily coordinates with the holiday season.

“The Libras are going through it this muthaf#cking Christmas,” she admitted, adding, “The Virgos are beating us. B#tch, they won. The Virgos won.”

Taking a playful jab at how rough things have been for Libras this year, she continued cracking jokes, this time opting to use a sports betting analogy to help get her point across.

“It was like life, five points,” she said. “Libras, zero. Libras lost the parlay, n#gga. Negative zero. We was f#cked up.”

Fans flooded the comments with reactions, with some sympathizing while others turned Cardi’s remarks into memes. Despite the chaos, Cardi left viewers with a laugh, declaring, “We had a Keyshia Cole season, honey. It was bad for the Libras.”

Other than the fact that Cole’s#### song “Love” was playing in the background of the video, it appears as though Cardi is comparing her issues with Offset with the R&B vocalist’s rumored rows with her boyfriend — who is also an Atlanta rapper. Keyshia Cole has seemingly confirmed she’s rekindled her romance with her rapper boyfriend Hunxho despite previously announcing her newfound single status just weeks ago. The R&B songstress first teased a reunion last week, posting a diamond ring on her Instagram Stories. Then, on Monday (December 3), Keyshia Cole shared a video of herself and Hunxho singing a duet in her car.

Cardi’s latest livestream follows a fiery Twitter Spaces stream in which she allowed her rage to boil over, instead of her sorrow. In a two-minute long clip from the lengthy stream, Cardi claimed she hoped Offset would up and “die” just days after they exchanged words with each other in a series of tweets.

Timothée Chalamet Credits Lil B As Spark That Ignited Wild-Fire-Mirroring Acting Career

Hollywood actor Timothée Chalamet revealed a surprising source of inspiration during his recent interview with Nardwuar.

Believe it or not, none other than the enigmatic rapper and internet cultural icon Lil B, also known as The BasedGod, played a major role in the early stages of Chalamet’s acting career. In a candid and humorous exchange with Nardwaur, Chalamet shared how Lil B’s music, bold artistry and even a fateful onstage encounter played a pivotal role in his personal and professional growth. Chalamet began by reminiscing about a unique moment in his life that he said left an indelible mark on his career.

“Lil B is like a hugely formative artist in my life,” Chalamet declared.

A post shared by AllHipHop (@allhiphopcom)

As he went into detail, adding that the rapper’s groundbreaking mixtape I’m Gay stood out as a powerful statement in the Hip-Hop landscape, he explained how it fueled his sense of freedom within creativity early on.

“The rollout was very ambiguous about his sexuality or the meaning of the album, and I was just inspired from the sense that, ‘wow, this guy’s just doing whatever the f#ck he wants'” he said. “It was just very cool to me at the time, in this genre of Hip-Hop, that he was just like all over the place.”

Chalamet continued on and began recounting his encounter with Lil B while still a student at NYU — explaining how he bribed a fellow classmate with $50 he’d earned from a commercial gig to secure a ticket to one of his shows. And according to him, the rest was history.

“I was in there alone, front row to the right,” he said, laughing. “I told him I was going to ask out a crush. He invited me on stage, knighted me, and honestly, he said, ‘That boy’s hand’s been blessed.’ From there, my acting career took off.”

The encounter became a turning point for Chalamet, who went on to star in critically acclaimed projects such as Call Me by Your Name, which allowed him to earn an Oscar nomination by the age of 22.

“I was struggling before that—basically just done Royal Pains—and then, you know, shout out Lil B,” he said. “Nothing’s possible without Lil B. Praise to The BasedGod.”

Lil B’s influence on Chalamet mirrors the broader cultural impact of the rapper’s I’m Gay mixtape, which was released in 2011. Despite early controversy surrounding its title, the project received praise for its innovative production and message of positivity. While precise sales figures remain unclear, I’m Gay reportedly charted on iTunes and garnered millions of streams over the years, cementing Lil B’s reputation as a pioneer of independent artistry.

Skillz Returns With The “Rap Up” In 2024

After a two-year hiatus, legendary rapper Skillz has decided to resurrect his iconic “Rap Up,” the annual tradition that recaps the year’s biggest events, moments, and cultural shifts.

Fans who had been clamoring for the return of the beloved series have a late Christmas gift as Skillz told AllHipHop his motivation for bringing it back this year.

“I was in the mood to do it this year,” Skillz explained. “I really had a great year with the Grammy nomination and all the amazing things that have happened. I figured why not do it? It was a way to bless the fans who have been asking me for the past two years to do one. This was for them.”

Skillz’s decision to bring back the “Rap Up” comes at a time when his fans—and the culture at large—needed it the most.

He’s always presented the “Rap Up” with humor, insight, and light commentary. The Virginia rep has long been the chronicler of the culture, resulting in other’s adopting the practice. However, Skillz’s “Rap Up” isn’t just music; it’s a time capsule of the year.

The announcement follows a milestone year for Skillz, highlighted by his Grammy nomination for his 2024 spoken word project The 7 Number Ones. The “Rap Up”’s return is not only a gift to his loyal followers but also a reminder of the unique voice Skillz brings to the game.

Over the past two years, he’s had people hitting him up, saying how much they missed the “Rap Up” and so it was time. Skillz added, “It felt like the right time to do it again, and I’m excited for everyone to hear it.”

Lil Baby Goes Out All For Sons’ Christmas With Lifesize Playhouse & Cars

Lil Baby splashed out on his sons for Christmas, gifting the little boys a lifesize playhouse in the garden with their own mini cars in the driveway.

The Atlanta rapper is father to two little boys, nine-year-old Jason with Ayesha Howard and five-year-old Loyal Armani with Jayda Cheaves. Lil Baby spared no expense for his sons this Christmas, splurging on a dream clubhouse in the backyard.

On Friday (December 27), Lil Baby took to Instagram to give fans a brief glimpse of his sons’ playhouse.

The two-story building features a balcony, with colorful lights adorning the outside and flashing from the interior. Additionally, two small vehicles sit in the driveway, likely miniature versions of the rapper’s own cars.

The playhouse also includes an exterior climbing wall leading to the first floor, and a slide that wraps around the building.

“The boys got they own house and cars,” Lil Baby wrote on the video.

Lil Baby’s sons have large social media followings. The boys’ mothers manage their accounts with hundreds of thousands of followers.

However, during a recent interview, Lil Baby revealed he’s not a fan of his sons’ online presence.

“I feel like the internet is a crazy place,” he told Lil Yachty on his “A Safe Place” podcast. “If it was up to me, I wouldn’t put my children on the internet for real. But it is what it is…what I will say is I come from a different cloth so it’s certain s### we don’t play about. Cause nobody gon make a comment that they say on the internet around me, never.”

Emanny Talks Hip-Hop Roots, Career Challenges & New EP “Before Her 3”

AllHipHop caught up with Emanny to discuss his career, his connection to Hip-Hop heavyweights like Joe Budden, Rick Ross and Jadakiss, and his new EP, Before Her 3. Known for his soulful hooks and raw storytelling, Emanny reflects on his musical evolution, his hiatus from the industry, and his inspirations for the new project.

Watch the video for the full conversation with Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur and the R&B / Hip-Hop crooner.

On is work with legends like Joe Budden and Jadakiss and their influence his career:

Emanny: Joe and Jada played huge roles in my journey. Joe’s collaborations, like “I Messed Up,” put me on the map. He’s raw and honest in his music, which taught me to be the same. Jada showed me a different side of the industry—his professionalism and consistency were inspiring. Both of them opened doors for me in their own unique ways.

How his proximity to Hip-Hop shaped his sound as an R&B artist:

Emanny: It definitely influenced me. Even though I’m an R&B guy by trade, I’ve always been a Hip-Hop head. Working with legends like Royce da 5’9″, Crooked I, and DJ Premier gave me credibility and kept me alive in the industry. Hip-Hop gave me a platform, even as an R&B artist.

Why he took a break from releasing music:

Emanny: The pressure of the industry took its toll. I wasn’t prepared for the success I was chasing, and it affected my confidence and personal growth. I needed to step back, work on myself as a man, and figure out why I wanted to be in this business. That break helped me rediscover my passion for music.

About his new EP, Before Her 3:

Emanny: The EP has three tracks, each representing a chapter of the full album that’s coming. It’s a continuation of my earlier projects, Songs About Her and Songs About Her 2. Tracks like “BDE” show my player side, “ATL” reflects on resolving mistakes, and “Don’t Give Up” is about vulnerability. It’s a glimpse of the storyline I’m building with the full project.

His thoughts on the state of R&B today:

Emanny: I love seeing artists like Usher, Coco Jones, and Lucky Day keeping the genre alive. When I first came out, the industry wasn’t ready for my sound, but now it’s what everyone’s doing. I think we need balance—there’s room for alternative and mainstream R&B, but we also need to preserve the soul and storytelling that make the genre great.

The challenges for artists in the industry today:

Emanny: The business is predatory, especially with streaming platforms. You need 1,500 streams to make a dollar—it’s ridiculous. That’s why I think going direct-to-consumer is so important. We also need some form of union or standard to protect artists. If we don’t, it’s only going to get worse.

Emanny talks about being part of the Joe Budden Podcast Network:

Emanny: It happened organically. Joe’s always been someone who includes his friends in what he’s building. I was a fan of the podcast from the start, and when I moved back to New York, I started hanging around. Eventually, he asked me to join. It’s been a great way to explore creativity outside of music.

What’s next:

Emanny: More music, more podcasting, and hopefully mentoring the next generation of artists. I don’t see other artists as competition—I’m inspired by them. I want to help others avoid the mistakes I made and give them opportunities I didn’t have.

I’m just grateful to be inspired again. This new chapter is about creating meaningful moments, whether in music, with my kids, or with my friends. I’ve been through a lot, but I’ve come out the other side ready to make the most of every opportunity.

He had been in the intensive care unit at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles since December 12 after he was discovered with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Since his admission to hospital, rumors that OG Maco had died ran rampant on social media. The family was forced to shut down the speculation in a public statement earlier this month, confirming that he was still alive, “in critical but stable condition.”

OG Maco burst onto the scene in 2014 with his breakout hit, “U Guessed It,” which went viral. The success of the song secured him a deal with Quality Control Music.

Despite releasing numerous mixtapes and projects, his career has been marked by significant challenges. In 2016, he survived a serious car accident that left him with multiple injuries.

A few years later, he publicly disclosed his battle with a rare skin condition, necrotizing fasciitis. The condition severely impacted his appearance and required extensive medical treatment.

“So much healing has a [sic] occurred thanks to God and my doctors that I’m willing to show all a fraction of what I’ve been going through,” Maco wrote over a photo. “I was improperly treated for a minor rash and ended up with a skin eating disease for the last few months. This is the best it’s looked. I hope it gives someone hope.”

AllHipHop extends condolences to OG Maco’s family and loved ones at this difficult time.

Remy Ma Issues Warning To Battle Rappers: “I Shoot First”

Remy Ma is putting battle rappers on notice amid the drama surrounding her marriage to Papoose and relationship with Eazy the Block Captain.

Earlier this month, all hell broke loose online when Remy Ma put Papoose on blast for his alleged relationship with boxer Claressa Shields, kicking off several rounds of mudslinging between the estranged couple and their respective paramours.

The Bronx native’s affair with the Philly battle rapper was exposed in explosive fashion during the latter’s clash with Geechi Gotti in September 2023.

However, Remy Ma, who started her music career battle rapping in the streets, announced she’s firing back the next time.

Eazy the Block Captain is gearing up to battle Shotgun Suge on January 5, his first clash since Remy Ma and Papoose’s public spat. The “Ghetto & Ratchet” hitmaker anticipates shade coming her way and issued a warning while hosting the faceoff.

“I just want to put this disclaimer out there right now. I’m a rapper too,” Remy asserted. “So if you have any plans on trying to get out there and talk crazy to me, I fight back. New Chrome rules, I fight back now.”

Suge was undeterred, responding, “You gone’ get it though,” adding, “It’s definitely a shot coming.”

However, Remy Ma swiftly reminded him, “I shoot back. Actually, I shoot first. I have a better record at shooting than you do.”

Remy Ma Promises: “One Of Y’all Lucky Battle Rappers Gone’ Get It”

Remy Ma then distinguished herself from other battle rap league owners before repeating her threat.

“I don’t know which one of y’all lucky battlers is gone get it,” she continued. “But one of these days I’m going just wake up one day and I’m like you know what … It’s time.”

Eazy the Block Captain vs. Shotgun Suge goes down on Chrome 23 in New Jersey on January 5. Check out the trailer and watch the faceoff below.

King Harris & BM Shut Down Internet Rumors: “Everything” Is A Lie

King Harris and the mother of his new baby are addressing the many rumors surrounding the young rapper, including that his father T.I. recently kicked him out.

The 20-year-old has recently found himself at the center of numerous rumors. In addition to speculation about T.I. putting him out, King Harris also faced rumors he was not the father of his newborn.

However, King shut down the gossip during a recent livestream with partner J’Nijah “Nana” Epps and their baby son.

According to King, “Everything the world say about me is a lie.” He expressed disbelief that people are “stupid” enough to believe internet rumors but said, “We can’t sue nobody that ain’t got no f###### money.”

Nonetheless, King claims he’s unbothered by the online chatter, stating “That s### didn’t affect me.”

Meanwhile, over the weekend, King Harris proudly shared the first videos of his son, King Jr.

He referred to the little boy as his “twin” before blasting blogs spreading “fake” information. King insisted “I never changed,” rather fans allowed “the internet,” to alter their perspective on him.

“Yall just easily to be manipulated on social media,” he said. “[I’m] him in real life no lie or rumors on da internet can take that away.”

During their recent livestream, King Harris and his girlfriend discussed how much the little boy resembles his father’s mother and grandmother.

“They all got the same face, Epps said before joking, “They just all got different hairstyles.”

Meanwhile, T.I. cradled his grandson in an adorable video.

While the baby has many nicknames, including Lil Jack Jack, T.I. calls the baby “The World’s Greatest Gangsta.”

Drake Reveals Secret Weapon In Legal Battle Over Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us”

Drake delivered many memorable moments during a recent livestream, and while he narrowly avoided dissing Kendrick Lamar, the OVO founder seemingly addressed his rival and his recent legal action against Universal Music Group.

Streamer Adin Ross hosted Drake’s DRIZZMAS live giveaway on Thursday (December 26). During the stream, Drake read letters from the winners before declaring the results.

One fan concluded their note with a jab at Kendrick Lamar, and Drake just about caught himself before repeating it.

“Oh I am not reading that,” he joked.

However, Drake alluded to his culture-shifting battle with Kendrick Lamar and his recent bombshell legal challenge over K. Dot’s “Not Like Us.” According to Drake, he cannot be defeated, as long as his mom remains in his corner.

Sandi Graham joined her son to deliver an uplifting message for the new year.

Drake praised his mom after her speech, likening her to a secret weapon.

“That’s my mother btw. Any of you guys think you can finish me…” he said. “It doesn’t matter, from one man to the biggest corporation in the world you guys will never done me. Are you crazy? The most powerful force you ever seen in your life, me and her.”

While Drake dodged an accidental Kendrick Lamar diss, the same could not be said for Rick Ross.

He read a fan letter referring to his hosting partner Adin as “the healthy Ross.” Drake promptly followed up with what seemed to be a tongue-in-cheek apology, adding “Oh s###! I wasn’t supposed to read that out.”

Nonetheless, the Toronto superstar still poked fun at Rozay, adding, “He ain’t lying.”

50 Cent Officially Greenlights Eminem Joint Album

50 Cent is giving a potential joint Eminem album the go-ahead after the Detroit legend’s recent revelations about a collaborative offering.

Earlier this week, Em revealed the only obstacle to crafting a collaboration is themselves. However, he’s fully on board with the idea, if they can just get it together.

Now, the G-Unit boss is bringing the project a step closer to reality, despite his previous claims that his album-making days are over

50 Cent confirmed he’s ready to return to the studio with Eminem, he needs to complete one major endeavor first. He took to Instagram on Thursday night (December 26) to announce the good news.

“Looks like I’ll be back in the booth after all !” he wrote. “Just gotta do this residency in Vegas first.”

Thankfully for fans of the iconic duo, “50 Cent: In Da Club,” his first ever Las Vegas residency, begins this Friday December 27 and wraps up on January 4.

Judging by his past statements, it looks likely that 50 Cent and Eminem will reunite with Dr. Dre on any potential joint album.

Back in 2023, Fif revealed he was working on new music, and claimed Slim Shady had reached out to inform him Dr. Dre was already working on the beats.

“As soon as I said that, I got a text from [Eminem] that he had already spoke to Dre, and that Dre is in there and he got some crazy stuff for me to go hear,” he explained. “This is my process: I’ll go make something, what I can find, the best music that I can put my hands on. And when I feel real good about it, I bring it to put pressure on Dre to offer me something. ‘Cause he’ll have something… He’s always had something.”

EXCLUSIVE: We Have What Beyoncé Was Paid By Netflix

The streets are watching Beyoncé, specifically pocket watching. This is officially better than the Super Bowl. Word on the grapevine is that Queen Bey was reportedly paid a whopping $60 million for her halftime performance over the Christmas holiday. Yes LAWD! She is super rich!

But wait, there’s more.

My homie Houston Williams got the ball rolling and now I’m about to dunk it. My sources tell me this hefty sum is part of a multi-performance deal, so this definitely won’t be the last time we see Beyoncé on Netflix. To be honest, I don’t know if this includes the NFL, but I doubt it. That performance was spectacular—absolutely Super Bowl caliber.

By the way, the performance has been getting a lot of hate, and I can’t understand why. Some folks seem to forget that country music is a Black-created art form. These racists act like they invented it and Black people are somehow stealing it from them. Nothing could be further from the truth. I think Bey brought in Post Malone just to appease them, but they didn’t respect that at all.

Anyway, they’re probably going to be even angrier as Beyoncé continues to dominate in 2025 and beyond. And then there’s Blue Ivy! Plus, I wouldn’t be surprised if JAY-Z drops a new album soon, especially with all the recent attacks he’s been facing.

What do you think? Should Beyoncé be getting this bag or should it go to me?

(By the way, published reports reveal this to be ALL facts.)

42 Dugg Roasted Once Again After Lashing Out At Athletes Over Failed Sports Gambling Parlays

If there wasn’t a prime example of how the thrills of sports gambling can drive a sane person crazy, 42 Dugg’s recent Twitter activity should easily serve as one.

On Wednesday (December 25), the Create Music Group (CMG) signee spouted off on a scathing rant targeting veteran NFL quarterback Russell Wilson after his Pittsburgh Steelers were defeated by the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs 29-10.

While the specifics of his bet weren’t revealed, its presumed that he either wagered a multi-leg parlay including Wilson or outright bet that the Steelers would defeat the Chiefs. No matter the case, things clearly went south for 42 Dugg, who let Wilson have a piece of his mind after sharing a tweet in the aftermath of the demoralizing loss.

“Russel Wilson so f#cking weak old a#s n#gga give it the f#ck up you costing n#ggas money cuz ,merrry f#cking Christmas dog,” 42 Dugg wrote in the tweet.

It might be due to the fact that the Chiefs are 15-1 on the season, versus the 10-6 Steelers, or the fact that Wilson’s play has been up and down since he was traded from the Denver Broncos last year — but Twitter users went on to roast 42 Dugg for his terrible bet.

“Your biggest mistake was betting against the chiefs .. on a holiday at that,” one user wrote in a reply in the thread of the tweet.

Another user added, “N#### that s### aint his fault lmfaooo.”

Considering this is far from the first time 42 Dugg has tweeted his frustrations after coming out on the losing end of a bet, another user suggested the “We Paid” rapper address the real root of his issues and get help.

“Call the hotline, bro,” the user wrote in the tweet.

Prior to his latest outburst, 42 Dugg has gone on similar rampages in which he took out his frustrations on professional athletes. I ain’t even gone speak on Jalen hurts an hoe much he cost me last night

Earlier this month, he went after an entire NBA franchise with a tweet attacking the Sacramento Kings.

“The kings so F###### weak what the f### niggasbe having going on !!!!!!!!!” He wrote.

Additionally, he not only revealed lost an exorbitant sum of money on a bet contingent on the performance of Philadelphia quarterback Jalen Hurts, he also went after the Miami Heat franchise player Jimmy Butler.

Check out the string of tweets 42 Dugg was targeted in following his previous inflammatory remarks going viral in the post below.
