LeBron James Slams Trump’s Divisive Rhetoric As He Endorses Kamala Harris

Kamala Harris received a boost from LeBron James and Jennifer Lopez, who both fiercely criticized Donald Trump while endorsing the Vice President.

On Thursday (October 31), the superstar athlete shared a video montage featuring clips of Donald Trump’s divisive rhetoric, including the former President claiming immigrants are “poisoning the blood of our country,” and that migrants are taking so-called “Black jobs.”

The video opened with a clip of comedian Tony Hinchcliffe at Trump’s racist Madison Square Garden rally joking about “carving watermelons,” with his Black friend.

Lebron James was unequivocal in his support for Kamala Harris.

“What are we even talking about here??” the NBA legend captioned his post. “When I think about my kids and my family and how they will grow up, the choice is clear to me. VOTE KAMALA HARRIS!!!”

Jennifer Lopez Says Kamala Harris “Gets It”

Jennifer Lopez also made a passionate pitch for Kamala Harris at a Las Vegas rally Thursday night. She slammed Donald Trump’s Madison Square Garden event and his speakers’ misogynist and racist language.

Like LeBron James, Jennifer Lopez referenced Hinchcliffe’s widely condemned rally speech after the comic called Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage.”

“He has consistently worked to divided us,” Lopez said of Trump. “At Madison Square Garden, he reminded us who he is and how he really feels. It wasn’t just Puerto Ricans who were offended that day. It was every Latino in this country, it was humanity, and anyone of decent character.”

Urging voters to cast their ballots for Kamala Harris, Lopez said, “as President of the United States she will fight for our freedom, for immigrant families to chase the American dream.”

Meanwhile, earlier this week, reggaeton artist Nicky Jam retracted his Donald Trump endorsement. He said he was walking back his support in response to Hinchcliffe’s remarks about Puerto Rico. However, he faced backlash from fans who believed the singer should never have backed Trump in the first place.

Young Thug Says “Free Yak Gotti” After Release From Jail On Plea Deal

Young Thug may have been released from jail after spending two and a half years behind bars since his arrest on multiple RICO charges, but he hasn’t forgotten about Yak Gotti.

On Thursday (October 31), Thugger walked free after taking a plea deal without a plea bargain after negotiations with the prosecution failed. He pleaded guilty to several charges, including gang involvement and weapons and drug offenses.

Judge Whittaker sentenced Thug to 40 years, with the first five years served in prison commuted by time served. She also slapped him with 15 years of probation and thousands of dollars in fines.

However, one of his two remaining co-defendants, rapper Yak Gotti, whose real name is Deamonte Kendrick, rejected a plea deal just hours before Young Thug pleaded guilty and remains locked up.

He is facing 12 counts, including charges related to racketeering, murder, guns, drugs and street gang participation.

Shortly after his release, Young Thug posted Yak Gotti on his Instagram Story. “Free You [red heart emoji],” he wrote alongside a photo of Gotti.

Instagram/Young Thug

Both Yak Gotti and Shannon “SB” Stillwell rejected the state’s plea deals on Thursday. Judge Stillwell told Gotti he would face life in prison plus 11 years if he took the case to trial.

“Yak Gotti has rejected the State’s latest plea offer and fully intends to take this to the jury and get our not guilty verdicts and go home,” attorney Douglas Weinstein told 11Alive’s Grace King after court.

After sentencing Young Thug, Judge Stillwell confirmed the trial will continue on Monday (November 4) for the remaining co-defendants, Yak Gotti and Shannon Stillwell.

T.I., Kid Cudi, Mariah The Scientist, Travis Scott & More React To Young Thug’s Release

Young Thug is now a free man after serving over two-and-a-half years in jail at Cobb County Corrections while fighting the YSL RICO case brought against him by the state of Georgia.

Under his release terms, Young Thug will be on probation for 15 years, during which he’s prohibited from promoting any gang-related content and must avoid contact with gang members or co-defendants, with the exception of his brother and Gunna. He’s also banned from the Atlanta Metro area for the next decade, although he may return for specific family events, including weddings, funerals, graduations or in cases of serious illness.

Additionally, Young Thug is required to give four annual anti-gang/anti-gun presentations or concerts in the Atlanta area and discouraged others from gang affiliation. He is, however, permitted to travel outside Georgia for work and music production, allowing him to resume his career while adhering to the probationary guidelines. In the wake of his release, countless stars have shared posts in support of Thug’s homecoming, including T.I., who previously predicted his fellow Atlanta rap counterpart’s release.

“Welcome Home lil bruddah,” T.I. wrote in a celebratory tweet. “It’s been too long… Time to get back to it!!! #KingJeffrey @youngthug.”

Thug’s girlfriend, Mariah The Scientist, immediately reacted to the news by sharing a post on her Instagram Story in which she wrote, “THANK YOU GOD!!!!!!!!!”

Sexyy Red added, “THEY LET TWIN OUT!!!” and producer ATL Jacob also chimed in, writing, “Bro freed on Halloween .. Welcome home @youngthug.”

Kid Cudi also remarked on Thug’s newfound freedom in a pair of tweets, praising the divine powers that be for bringing the multi-platinum rapper home safe and sound.

“God is good!!” Kid Cudi wrote in the first tweet before exclaiming in a follow-up message, “Praise God!”

Longtime Kanye West and JAY-Z collaborator Jay Electronica responded to the news of Thug’s freedom on Twitter, as well, similarly crediting a higher power with blessing the So Much Fun rapper with a new lease on life.

“Praise be to Allah they let this man come home,” Jay Electronica wrote. “Be Great Slime.”

Producer LondoOnTheTrack also echoed similar sentiments, writing, “Thank god my boy coming home!” in a tweet commemorating the moment.

Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” producer Mustard also reacted to the news, writing, “THUG FREE WHAT A DAY !!!!!!”

Chicago rapper Lucki may have authored a pair of the most interesting reactionary tweets, between his assessment of Judge Paige Whitaker’s handling of the sentencing of Thug’s plea deal, along with a petition he shared for the freedom of Lil Durk — who was recently arrested on a murder for hire charge.

“She not even going after his pockets wit the fines,” Lucki wrote. “Bro make this lady the president.”

In another tweet, Lucki added, “Ms Whitaker say this rap s##t like WWE [goat emoji]. Wow Look @ Ms Love Face when she called him Talented.”

Diddy Prosecutors Say He’s Trying To “Hijack” Crimal Case To Fight Lawsuits

Prosecutors filed an opposition to several motions in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ criminal case on Wednesday (October 30). According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, the prosecution urged a judge to reject Diddy’s request for an evidentiary hearing regarding leaks and a gag order.

“The Court should deny the Leak Motion for the simple reason that the defendant fails to show the leak of any grand jury material,” prosecutors argued. “Without any factual basis, the Leak Motion seeks to suppress highly probative evidence—a video of Combs brutally physically assaulting a victim in March 2016 that was published by a media outlet in May 2024—by claiming that it was grand jury material leaked by Government agents to CNN. But, as the defendant is fully aware, the video was not in the Government’s possession at the time of CNN’s publication and the Government has never, at any point, obtained the video through grand jury process. The defendant also complains about purported ‘law enforcement sources’ leaking other alleged grand jury material to the media in several news articles cited in his papers … Here, too, the defendant is grasping at straws.”

Prosecutors claimed Diddy was trying to “hijack the criminal proceeding” to fight numerous lawsuits against him. They said Diddy didn’t need a witness list six months before his sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy trial.

“The defendant cannot credibly claim that he will suffer unfair surprise at trial,” the prosecution wrote. “Rather, it is plain that the defendant’s request for a bill of particulars containing victim names is merely a vehicle to attempt to prematurely restrict the Government’s proof at trial and use these criminal proceedings to defend himself in the press against complainants in separate civil litigation. This improper request should be denied in its entirety, particularly here, where there are serious and ongoing concerns of victim and witness safety, tampering and intimidation.”

They added, “Defendant is essentially asking for either a blanket order that would apply indiscriminately to any individuals with claims against Combs and their lawyers or for a more limited order that would require the Government to identify its witnesses six months before trial. Not only would such relief be unprecedented, but the defendant should not be permitted to use a local criminal rule as a sword to gag civil claimants whether or not their statements were connected to this criminal proceeding.”

Prosecutors denied leaking grand jury material to the press. They insisted only one source – a purported Department of Homeland Security officer – was “plausibly connected” to their investigation in the articles cited by Diddy.

“Much of the information this source discusses was a matter of the public record at the time he or she made comments in September 2024,” the prosecution noted. “Additionally, while the Government agrees with the defense and the Court that extrajudicial commentary by law enforcement officers involved in the investigation in any way is inappropriate … an agent who merely participated in a search—who had no access to grand jury materials or even the Affidavit setting forth probable cause to search the defendant’s Miami House—is decidedly not a member of the Prosecution Team.”

Diddy’s trial is scheduled to begin in May 2025. He remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

Madlib Sues Ex-Manager On Anniversary Of MF DOOM’s Death

Madlib filed a lawsuit against former manager Egon on Thursday (October 31), the four-year anniversary of MF DOOM’s death. He chose the date to honor DOOM, whose family is currently in litigation with Egon over several missing notebooks that belonged to the late MC.

In a complaint observed by AllHipHop, Madlib (real name Otis Jackson) accused Egon of several shady practices, including mismanaging his finances, skimming money generated from his recorded music and locking him out of several “key music business platforms” like Ingrooves, Apple Music, YouTube, BandCamp, Instagram and Facebook.

Madlib was signed to Stones Throw Records and released his first single with the label, “Microphone Mathematics,” in 1999. Egon was working there as executive at the time. After Madlib left and Egon was fired in 2010, Madlib, who trusted Egon, brought him on as his manager. They stared multiple companies together, including Madicine Show and Rapp Cats.

“Egon’s role in Madicine Show consisted of control over all financial, legal and business aspects of the entity, which at inception was concerned with Madlib’s professional career,” the complaint reads. “For example, EGON managed and controlled all of the entity’s bank accounts and made all of the decisions regarding incoming and outgoing monies from those accounts. He decided when to make distributions to MADLIB and how much to distribute to him.

“He was also responsible for all of the entity’s business dealings with others, including the overseeing of distribution agreements for Madlib’s recorded music, the managing of Madlib’s social media and other promotional efforts, the hiring of personnel ,outside consultants and professionals like lawyers and accountants, the leasing of office space, health insurance and the like.”

Due to Egon’s alleged mishandling of Madlib’s finances, the storied producer is seeking compensatory damages, including attorney fees, and more.

As the complaint explained, “Madlib therefore desires a declaration from the Court determining that none of the Defendants owns or has any continuing right or interest in the above and that he has lawfully terminated any rights he may have granted therein to any of the Defendants.

“Such declaration is necessary and appropriate at this time to confirm and protect MADLIB’s interest in his creative work and the goodwill associated with his professional career, as well as his name and likeness, and so that MADLIB may ascertain the rights and duties of the parties relating thereto.”

MF DOOM’s widown, Jasmine Dumile Thompson, filed a lawsuit in October 2023, alleging Egon stole 31 of the rapper’s notebooks that were used to write down many of his beloved songs, including music from Operation Doomsday (1999), Madvillainy (2004) and MM…FOOD (2004) as well as unreleased songs ideas, musings and “other creative ideations.”

Young Thug Is Free: Rapper Sentenced To Probation Ending Atlanta’s “Trial Of The Century”

Young Thug stood before Judge Whitaker and begged for his freedom during his plea hearing on Thursday (October 31).

Thugger, who’s been behind bars in a Fulton County jail since 2022 when he was arrested on multiple RICO charges, told Whitaker he was “a good guy” who was essentially a victim of his circumstances. Whitaker received Young Thug’s comments well but stressed how detrimental his rap music and lifestyle image can be to young kids who look up to him.

“There’s more things to rap about,” Thug assured the judge. “I’ve experienced a lot of good things—I mean, I experienced more bad things—but I experienced a lot of good things, too.”

Whitaker then proceeded to run through his sentence and slapped him with 40 years, with the first five years served in prison, commuted by time served, 15 years of probation and thousands of dollars in fines.

That will be followed by a backloaded 20 years, which can be served in custody if he fails probation. Essentially, Thug will get out of jail immediately and remain on probation for 15 years.

The judge also told Thug he has to stay out of the Atlanta Metro area for the first 10 years of his probation unless he needs to attend a funeral, wedding or such event of a close family member. He must deliver an anti-gun, anti-gang ad at a school or boys or girls club four times a year, which would count toward his community service hours.

Furthermore, he cannot promote street gangs or violence, knowingly engage with anyone listed in the indictment or their family members and cannot posses a weapon but can be in arms reach of anyone in his security detail. He must undergo drug tests as well.

Young Thug accepted a non-negotiated (or blind) plea deal after agreeing to plead guilty or no contest to multiple charges, including possession of a machine gun, the RICO count and gang leader count. His plea arrived after three of the remaining co-defendants reached plea deals over the last 72 hours. Rodalius Ryan and Marquavius Huey entered guilty pleas the day after Quamarvious Nichols accepted a deal.

Ryan pleaded guilty to conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act. Judge Paige Reese Whitaker sentenced him to 10 years, which was commuted to time served. Ryan remains in custody as he’s serving a life sentence for murder. Huey pleaded guilty to conspiracy to violate the RICO Act, aggravated assault, robbery, gun and gang charges.

Thug’s sentence ends what many are calling Atlanta’s “trial of the century.”

Cardi B Threatens To Handle YouTuber Like She Does People In “The Streets”

Cardi B warned YouTuber Armon Wiggins to stop disrespecting her in a since-deleted X (formerly known as Twitter) Spaces rant on Thursday (October 31). The Atlantic Records artist reached her breaking point after Wiggins called her “fake” and “phony” for endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris.

“I’m not gonna keep letting somebody think that they can disrespect me, they can bully me and they can keep trying me,” Cardi B said. “Especially when I have conversations with them, when I have conversation with them as an adult. ‘Cause if you don’t respect me being a f###### adult, that means I gotta m############ treat you how I m############ treat people in the m############ streets. And that is a m############ fact.”

She continued, “When a n####’s calling me ‘b####, hoe,’ I don’t give a f### if you suck dick like me. Don’t you ever call out my f###### name if we not f###### or we not cool like that. If we not cool like that, you can’t call me a b#### … I’m not gonna keep letting somebody disrespect me.”

Cardi B accused Wiggins of repeatedly antagonizing her. The enraged rapper insinuated she stopped people from harming Wiggins.

“You not gonna keep f###### playing with me,” she said. “And that s### is coming from me. Not nobody else but from f###### me. And I’m letting you know. And I’m not doing no f###### Twitter s###. I’m not arguing with nobody. I’m not piping nobody up. Stop f###### playing with me! Leave me the f### alone! ‘Cause I promise you, on my kids, every time you go out, people tell me where you at. Not sparing n##### on the argument s###, sparing n##### in real life.”

Cardi B claimed Wiggins crossed her boundaries. She referenced her gang ties in the social media tirade.

“Stop playing with the Brim!” she said.

Wiggins apologized in response to Cardi B’s threats.

“I don’t want no problems yall got it,” Wiggins wrote on X. “we gone get it without being attached to a controversial headline.. as a MAN @iamcardib if you feel like I ever used derogatory words towards you I apologize.. I don’t wanna fight girl I’m off it.”

Cardi B is scheduled to speak at Vice President Harris’ campaign rally in Milwaukee on Friday (November 1).

Young Thug Accepts Blind Plea Deal

Young Thug, who’s been behind bars since 2022 on a sprawling Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act indictment, accepted a non-negotiated (or blind) plea deal on Thursday (October 31) after agreeing to plead guilty or no contest to multiple charges, including possession of a machine gun, the RICO count and gang leader count.

He previously rejected a negotiated plea deal offer. Consequently, the state is recommending a 45-year sentence with 25 years to serve in custody and 20 years on probation. The final decision on sentencing is up to the judge.

Young Thug’ plea arrived after three of the remaining co-defendants in Atlanta’s “trial of the century” reached plea deals over the last 72 hours.

The judge sentenced Huey to 25 years with nine to be served in prison. The rest will be spent on probation with five years suspended. Huey has already spent two years in custody. Now, only Yak Gotti and SB remain; the former has opted to take it to a jury.

The defense demanded a mistrial due to the prosecution’s error October 23 in which a witness revealed Nichols was previously incarcerated, which the jury wasn’t supposed to know. Judge Whitaker refused to grant a mistrial with prejudice, which would block the prosecution from retrying Young Thug and his co-defendants.

She did, however, provide an option for a mistrial without prejudice and criticized prosecutors for the hiccups. Consequently, the prosecution and defense engaged in plea deal negotiations due to the looming threat of a mistrial.

The hearing is currently ongoing and being streamed live on YouTube. Thug’s official sentence has yet to be confirmed. Stay tuned.

This is a developing story.

Tory Lanez Legal Team Jumps In Megan Thee Stallion’s Lawsuit Against Blogger

Unite the People, the legal team hired by Tory Lanez for his appeal, accepted another case connected to him shooting Megan Thee Stallion. The nonprofit announced it will represent Milagro Gramz, a pro-Lanez blogger sued by Megan for spreading lies about the 2020 shooting and his trial.

Megan accused Milagro Gramz, whose real name is Milagro Cooper, of engaging in a “years-long campaign of harassment.” Unite the People claimed Megan filed a lawsuit to stop Cooper from reporting on Lanez’s case.

“Unite the People Inc. has agreed to take on the defense of Milagro Cooper…as well as any other social media influencer, journalism platform, journalists, podcast or reporter of any type that has received this lawsuit against them or any other form of bullying/harassment to silence them from their right to free speech,” the organization declared. “Any such influencer, media person or organization who has been or receives a threat in an attempt to silence them from the same organization or corporation should contact Unite the People Inc. immediately at (888) 245-9393.”

Megan sued Cooper for promotion of an altered sexual depiction, cyberstalking, false light invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Megan’s lawyers said Cooper’s conduct went “beyond all bounds of decency.”

“For years, Defendant Cooper acted, and continues to act, on behalf of Daystar Peterson (also known as Tory Lanez) as an online rumor mill churning out falsehoods about Ms. Pete to her tens of thousands of social media followers,” Megan’s attorneys wrote. “Since Mr. Peterson’s 2020 indictment for felony assault with a deadly weapon after shooting Ms. Pete, to his later conviction in December 2022, up through today, Defendant Cooper performed Mr. Peterson’s public bidding to denigrate, belittle, insult and spread false statements about Ms. Pete on her online social media platforms, for no other reason than to bully, harass and punish Ms. Pete for Mr. Peterson’s conviction and to tarnish her reputation, causing emotional distress.”

Lanez was convicted of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, having a loaded unregistered firearm in a vehicle and discharging a firearm with gross negligence in 2022. A judge sentenced him to 10 years in prison in 2023.

Megan Thee Stallion Admits She Lied About Sleeping With Tory Lanez

Megan Thee Stallion admitted she lied to Gayle King about sleeping with Tory Lanez. Megan reflected on the 2022 interview in her Amazon documentary Megan: In Her Words, which premiered on Thursday (October 31).

“Yes, b####, I lied to Gayle King,” Megan said of denying a sexual relationship with Lanez. “First of all, I ain’t know that b#### was even finna ask me about that s###, b####. I thought we was gonna talk about the shooting. Why’d you ask me about f###### Tory?

“That’s not what this is about. Even if I was, I f##### a n#### like once. Maybe twice on a drunk night, but you kept catching me out of my f###### mind … they get me off the g###### track. Like when they keep talking about the f###### part, and I find myself consumed in the f###### part. And I’m like, ‘Wait! This is not what this is about.’”

Megan questioned why her sexual history was heavily scrutinized after she accused Lanez of shooting her. The multi-platinum-selling rapper said she lied about sex with Lanez because she lost her confidence.

“Why are we not talking about the g###### shooting?” she said. “Everything has been a distraction from the shooting. I used to be so confident in myself and I used to be like … anybody would’ve asked me about f###### somebody and I would’ve been like, ‘So? OK, yeah, I did that s###.’ I like to f###. What about it? But the way they have villainized me for being this type of person, it started to make me second guess myself.”

Megan was shot after leaving a party in 2020. Lanez was convicted of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, having a loaded unregistered firearm in a vehicle and discharging a firearm with gross negligence in 2022.

“If my mom was here, I wouldn’t be going through this,” Megan said. “I wouldn’t know half these people. I wouldn’t have did half this s###. I think I was just going through a crazy phase of life. I’ll never be able to take back that time of life. I wasn’t no bad person, but I was definitely drinking like a m###########. But I wasn’t fighting. The worst I was doing was drinking and f######.”

Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison. He is appealing his conviction.

J. Prince Denies Rumors About Feds Raiding His Home—Says He Was Car Shopping

J. Prince has responded to reports that his home was recently the target of a federal raid, surprisingly aligning with Drake’s friend-turned-foe Rick Ross in the process.

For those who may not have followed the developments of the story, reports from various media outlets alleged that the FBI had raided the Rap-A-Lot Records office and J. Prince’s Houston home on October 29. J. Prince released a statement on the matter to Baller Alert, in which he strongly denied that any sort of raid occurred and accused the outlets who reported on the news of spreading misinformation.

“The people that start these rumors, tell lies for a living,” he said. “I don’t have time to keep up with their b#######.”

In the end, though, it appears as though his word wasn’t convincing enough. It’s either that, or he may have caught wind of Rozay flexing his new whip, because J. Prince took to Instagram on October 31 to show off his new Rolls-Royce Spectre luxury EV — which he reveals he was buying while folks were saying he had been picked up by the feds.

“While they were spreading lies a couple of days ago about my places being raided by the feds, I was treating myself to the new Rolls Royce Spectre to add to my collection,” J. Prince wrote in the caption of the post he shared on Instagram.

He continued, sending direct shots at the “podcasters” he says are perpetually lying to make ends meet.

“Even more importantly, here’s a JPrinciple to live by: Satan is the author of confusion,” he wrote. “So, remove people who bring confusion into your life. As for those rats who call themselves podcasters, lying and causing confusion for a living—they’ll eventually reap what they sow. Wishing myself a Happy Birthday because I’m the Treat not the Trick.”

Several artists showed love in the comments of the post in which J. Prince showed off the remarkably clean vehicle he just purchased.

“It’s Scorpio Season mane let’s Go!,” E-40 wrote.

Slim Thug added, “Happy Gday many mo to go.”

However, Ross was not one of the many who gave J. Prince his daps and pounds on his new whip, which is both predictable and somewhat surprising. It’s obvious that the Houston OG’s love and support for Drake would likely alienate any sort of congratulatory message Ross might have for J. Prince. However, it’s truly odd timing that the music industry veteran chose to unveil his Spectre, considering Rozay himself also debuted his new Rolls-Royce of the same model hours before J. Prince shared his.

While both of the whips feature pearly white exteriors, J. Prince’s boasts a vibrant Hermès orange interior while the guts of Ross’ new whip is wrapped in a sort of aquamarine blue he has dubbed Tua Tagovailoa blue. Ross also claims his Rolls is the first to have a stars in the ashtray.

What do y’all think? Is it too far off to think that J. Prince attempted to kill two birds with one post by throwing rocks at podcasters spewing fake news and hiding his hand in his attempt to seemingly son Rick Ross over his new Rolls-Royce Spectre? At any rate, its just good to see that the rumors about J. Prince’s run-in with the FBI weren’t actually true!

Check out the post of Rick Ross showing off his new Rolls-Royce Spectre in the post below.

Young Dolph’s Killer Seeks New Trial Over “Gruesome” Photos

Justin Johnson, the man convicted of Young Dolph’s murder, filed a motion for a new trial on October 25. Johnson said his sentence should be vacated due to multiple errors in his trial.

“The verdict regarding the offenses of conviction was contrary to the weight and sufficiency of the evidence, and the evidence was insufficient to lead any rational trier of fact to conclude that Mr. Johnson was guilty beyond a reasonable doubt,” Johnson’s lawyer Luke Evans wrote. “The trial court erred by admitting gruesome photographs of the victim’s body at the crime scene. The trial erred by admitting gruesome autopsy photographs. The trial court erred by denying Johnson’s repeated motions to allow him to sit at the counsel table. The cumulative effect of multiple errors at trial warrants granting Mr. Johnson a new trial.”

Johnson was found guilty of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder and being a convicted felon in possession of a handgun in September. A judge sentenced him to life in prison.

Cornelius Smith, who testified against Johnson, is scheduled for a court hearing on November 15. Smith faces first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder and attempted murder charges.

A post shared by AllHipHop (@allhiphopcom)

Smith admitted he was one of the gunmen who shot Young Dolph at Johnson’s trial. Johnson and Smith were recruited by Hernandez Govan to kill Young Dolph to collect a $100,000 bounty. Yo Gotti’s brother Big Jook put a hit on the late rapper, who was fatally shot at a Memphis bakery in 2021.

Govan faces first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder and attempted murder charges. Prosecutors gave him a November 22 deadline to accept a plea deal.

According to Johnson’s attorney, Govan entered a proffer agreement during the Young Dolph murder investigation. Govan did not testify in Johnson’s trial.

Govan’s trial is scheduled for March 2025 if doesn’t take a plea deal.

Today, I understand it even less, because we can see clearly the implications of not hitting the polls. Voting isn’t everything; it’s just one of many tools we have to fight oppression, racism, and to hold elected officials accountable.

Meanwhile, you don’t see the other side telling their people not to vote. Quite the opposite—they encourage voting and bank on us not showing up.

Some people think voting doesn’t matter, until something serious happens—like finding themselves in front of an unrelenting judge or dealing with a brutish police officer. Strangely, they’ll feel the impact of not voting but won’t pull up to the polls. That’s how I see it, at least. It is time to fix that.

Yes, we absolutely need to build our own demands, and our leadership must step up. But that doesn’t cancel out the need to vote. So, here are more reasons to get to the polls. Sitting on the couch just leads to more generations suffering because we neglected our power in the present. Let’s get out there and make a change.

Here are 10 powerful reasons why we should show up to vote:

  • Honoring Our Ancestors
Our ancestors fought, marched, and died for the right to vote. Casting our ballots is a way to honor their sacrifices and continue the legacy.
  • Building Power
Voting amplifies our voices in shaping policies that impact our communities, from economic empowerment to criminal justice reform.
  • Representation Matters
Elected officials who share our experiences and values are more likely to push for change that directly benefits us. Voting makes this representation possible.
  • Shaping Future Generations
Our vote affects education, job opportunities, and social programs that will shape the future for our children and the next generation of leaders.
  • Holding Leaders Accountable
When we vote, we gain power to hold politicians accountable for their promises and demand action on issues impacting our communities.
  • Economic Justice
Voting influences policies around minimum wage, job creation, and fair housing—critical factors for building wealth and achieving economic stability in our communities.
  • Protecting Our Rights
The right to vote itself is under attack, and by voting, we protect this essential right, ensuring our voices are heard and respected.
  • Impacting Local Decisions
Local elections affect schools, policing, housing, and health care—issues that impact our day-to-day lives more than anything at the national level.
  • Counteracting Systemic Racism
Voting is a tool to challenge and dismantle policies that contribute to racial inequality. When we show up, we disrupt systems of oppression.
  • Inspiring Change and Empowerment
Voting is an empowering act that shows we’re not passive. By taking part, we inspire others to believe in their power to create positive change.

If you are still here, I’d like to offer one more substantive reason to vote – the Supreme Court appointments in the near future. This November, the future of the Supreme Court is at stake. During his first term, Trump appointed three justices — more than any president since Ronald Reagan. These appointments played a pivotal role in overturning Roe v. Wade, dismantling affirmative action, and rolling back gun safety laws — even after Trump left office. Run and tell a friend – this is beyond important. This is not the time to abstain from voting.

Snoop Dogg Considering Investing In Soccer Club: “Be Crazy Not To Take A Look”

Snoop Dogg is a man with diversified interests and a range of ventures, and his next one could take him to a Scottish soccer club.

The West Coast rap icon recently revealed he’s inspired by Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds, whose recent purchase of Welsh soccer team Wrexham was the subject of an FX documentary. The fifth-tier team secured two consecutive promotions after Reynolds and fellow actor Rob McElhenney took over the club in 2020 for $2.5 million.

Accordingly, Snoop Dogg believes he would be “crazy” to pass on the opportunity to invest in a soccer team, and he has a specific club in mind.

“Investing in a sports team has been something I have been looking at for a long time,” Snoop Dogg revealed to Scottish outlet Daily Record. “If the chance came to invest in Celtic, I would be crazy not to take a look at it.”

The Celtic Football Club compete in the top flight of Scottish soccer and are currently sitting atop the league with four wins in their last five games.

Back in 2022, Snoop Dogg congratulated the team after Celtic secured their 52nd Scottish title win.

Snoop Dogg Heaps Praise On Celtic Fans

“I have watched so much soccer in Europe but I have never seen fans like the Celtic fans. There is something so special about them,” Snoop added. “There is a reason why their fans are talked about across Europe – the best players and coaches in the world tell you there is nowhere like Celtic Park and I want to be a part of that.”

And it’s not just the fans. There’s another reason Snoop Dogg believes Celtic is the team for him.

“Their mascot is a hound – you couldn’t make that up,” he said. “Snoop Dogg becomes Hoopy the Hound – that’s gotta be a match made in heaven. The headlines write themselves.”

Meanwhile, in other Snoop Dogg news, his highly anticipated album produced by Dr. Dre finally has a release date. Missionary will be released on December 13.

Lil Uzi Vert In Hot Water With Heaven’s Gate Over “Eternal Atake 2” Artwork

Lil Uzi Vert is gearing up to release their highly anticipated project, Eternal Atake 2, but could face a legal challenge from former members of Heaven’s Gate.

Back in 2018, Uzi shared the artwork for the original Eternal Atake album, a remake of the Heaven’s Gate keyhole logo. The UFO religion, often described as a cult, is most known for the mass suicide of its members in 1997.

The group threatened to sue for copyright infringement, and according to former Heaven’s Gate members, Lil Uzi was forced to change it.

Meanwhile, earlier this week, Uzi shared a UFO-themed trailer and artwork for Eternal Atake 2, complete with a new logo.

However, two members who reportedly control the group’s intellectual property vowed to take legal action if Lil Uzi “takes it too far” with Eternal Atake 2.

“Same as last time,” they told Complex. “Stay away from our Intellectual Property. Give the Group some respect. And don’t try to offer to buy us off, like last time. We do not want your money, no matter how much it is.”

They claimed Uzi’s original Eternal Atake artwork was “a distortion and misuse of our IP.” They added, “We took action and forced him to make changes in the product.”

The Heaven’s Gate Duo Say Lil Uzi’s Music Causes Brain Damage

Although Lil Uzi was inspired by the UFO religion, the former Heaven’s Gate followers are not fans of the Philly rapper’s music.

“We have not listened to Vert’s music,” they said. “Living in this world is hard enough as it is, and we do not need the brain damage involved in listening to his works.”

The duo also told the outlet that their lawyer previously succeeded in a legal battle with Uzi.

“He still stepped over the line in one circumstance,” they added. “But we got him to give up thinking he could use our IP to push his idea of him being a divine ‘leader’ and motivating his ‘followers’ to leave the planet. We will see if he takes it too far this time.”

Nonetheless, Lil Uzi has updated their previous works with the Heaven’s Gate-inspired Eternal Atake 2 logo. The project is slated to arrive November 1.

Rihanna On A Quest To Find Love For Eminem

Rihanna may be happily in love, but she’s on a mission to find romance for her friend Eminem.

While the Fenty founder is raising her two children with A$AP Rocky, her “Love the Way You Lie” is seemingly a confirmed bachelor. However, according to an insider, Rihanna is determined to find Eminem a girlfriend.

“Rihanna, like a lot of people in his life, can’t understand why he’s still single and she’s decided to make it her mission to find him a girlfriend,” a source explained to In Touch. “She knows him well enough to know what kind of woman would be a good match and she’s got lots of ideas about who to set him up with.”

Rihanna Believes Eminem Is “Letting Life Pass Him By”

However, the source said Em is reluctant to find love and is “closed off to the idea.

“He claims he’s happier on his own and doesn’t want to deal with the drama of dating, but Rihanna isn’t taking no for an answer,” the source added. “She thinks Eminem is letting life pass him by and has vowed that she’s going to help shake him out of this funk.”

Although Eminem appears to be single, he was previously married, twice, to his first love, Kimberly Scott. He tied the knot with the mother of his three daughters, Kimberly Scott, Hailie Jade Scott, Alaina Scott and Stevie Laine Scott, but they divorced in 2001.

Nonetheless, Em’s family continues to grow, recently announcing he is going to be a grandfather.

Meanwhile, Rihanna recently revealed she would love to add a little girl to her family. She shares two sons with A$AP Rocky, RZA 2 and Riot Rose, 14 months.

“I wouldn’t even know what to do with a girl since I only know boys so far. It would be a whole new adventure,” she told Entertainment Tonight at the Fenty x Puma Avanti launch last week.

Nonetheless, the superstar songstress loves being a boy mom.

“The boy energy is the best. I live for it,” Rihanna added. “There’s never a dull moment. I love when they’re climbing off chandeliers. They scare me to the point that I’m forced to have fun! Running around, lifting them up—it’s all fun and even keeps me in shape. It’s the best workout, for all of us.”

Diddy Scores Major Victory Against Jane Doe Sexual Assault Accuser

A woman suing Sean “Diddy” Combs for sexual assault must reveal her identity or face potential dismissal of her lawsuit.

The Tennessee resident sued Diddy, alleging he assaulted her at a party two decades ago when she was a 19-year-old college student. She filed her claim under a pseudonym, but a federal judge has ruled the case cannot proceed anonymously, according to abc News.

“Simply put, allegations of sexual assault, by themselves, are not sufficient to entitle a plaintiff to proceed under a pseudonym,” Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil said in her decision.

The judge disagreed with the accuser’s argument that she could face harm if her identity was known.

“Combs has had no contact with Plaintiff for the approximately 20 years since the alleged rape and Combs is currently detained pending trial,” Judge Vyskocil stated. “As such, counsel has not identified any present threat of physical harm to Plaintiff.”

Although the judge agreed that Jane Doe could face public scrutiny, she said it “does not outweigh the interests of both Combs and the public in the customary and constitutionally-embedded presumption of openness in judicial proceedings.”

Earlier this year, a woman with a “public-facing identity” asked a judge to maintain her anonymity in her lawsuit against Diddy and Bad Boy Records’ former president Harve Pierre.

“Because of my former employer’s power and influence, I fear that I will be harassed and ridiculed if my identity was made public in connection with these claims,” she explained. “I am concerned for my physical safety and the safety of my family.”

Diddy denies the allegations. He remains behind bars at MDC, awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Nicky Jam Gets Roasted After Walking Back Donald Trump Endorsement

Nicky Jam has walked back his endorsement of Donald Trump, sparking reactions from frustrated fans who believe the singer should never have backed the former president in the first place.

The U.S.-born, Puerto Rican-raised artist retracted his support after a speaker at Donald Trump’s recent rally called Puerto Rico “a floating island of garbage.”

He condemned the remarks in a Spanish-language video shared on his Instagram, per AP News

“The reason why I supported Donald Trump was because I thought he was the best for the economy in the United States, where many Latinos live, many of us Latinos live, myself included, many immigrants who are suffering because of the economy and him, being a businessman, I thought it was the best move,” Nicky Jam explained.

“Never in my life did I think that a month later, a comedian was going to come to criticize my country and speak badly of my country,” he added. “Therefore, I renounce any support for Donald Trump, and I sidestep any political situation. Respect Puerto Rico, Nicky Jam.”

However, his statement didn’t go down well on social media.

“So Nicky Jam was cool with everything Trump & his supporters have said about black people, Mexicans , women & LGBTQ community,” wrote one person. “But now that a comedian makes a joke about PR he withdraws his support from Trump [clown emoji].”

Check out some other reactions at the end of the page.

Donald Trump Misgenders Nicky Jam

Trump believed Nicky Jam was a woman when introducing the reggaeton artist at a rally last month.

“Latin music superstar Nicky Jam, do you know Nicky? She’s hot,” he said. Nicky Jam quickly blew off the gaffe before gushing over Donald Trump.

Donald Trump faced harsh criticism after his Madison Square Garden rally, with many condemning the speakers. Several artists, including Bad Bunny, Jennifer Lopez and Ricky Martin, showed support for Kamala Harris.
