Missy Elliott Praises Queen Latifah At 46th Kennedy Center Honors [VIDEO]

Queen Latifah is one of the most celebrated Hip-Hop stars of all time. The recording artist/actress became the first female rapper to earn recognition at the Kennedy Center Honors.

This year’s Kennedy Center Honors ceremony occurred at the Kennedy Center Opera House in Washington, DC on December 3. CBS aired the program on Wednesday (December 27).

Queen Latifah joined Billy Crystal, Renée Fleming, Barry Gibb and Dionne Warwick as 2024 honorees. Fellow Hip-Hop icon Missy Elliott gave a speech praising Latifah at the show.

Missy Elliott Applauds Queen Latifah For Being Unapologetic

“I want to tell y’all a little backstory. I was coming home from high school and I used to watch a lot of videos and I happened to see this young woman rapping, but what caught my attention was her clothes because she had on an African print, the African medallion. And I kept hearing her say, ‘Oh, ladies first, ladies first,’ over and over and over again,” Missy Elliott told the Kennedy Center audience.

Elliott then added, “I sat there and I was like, ‘Wow, she’s saying that during a time that we kept hearing it’s a man’s world.’ She was saying this unapologetically, changing the narrative right there. Something that I was so accustomed to hearing but now I’m hearing, ‘ladies first.'”

Queen Latifah put out the “Ladies First” single featuring Monie Love in 1989. The track lives on the New Jersey native’s All Hail the Queen studio album. “Ladies First” peaked at No. 5 on Billboard‘s Hot Rap Songs chart.

“Then I said, ‘Who is this girl?’ And I looked at the bottom of the screen and it said Queen Latifah. Not Latifah, but Queen Latifah,” Missy Elliott recalled.

She also added, “That only said to me that she was saying, ‘You will respect me… I will be a leader, I will be a provider, I will be an inspiration to many, I will be the blueprint to success, I won’t be just a part of the culture, I’ll be royalty to the culture. I won’t set the bar, I am the bar.'”

MC Lyte & Monie Love Pay Tribute To The Queen

Queen Latifah’s music catalog contains rap LPs like 1989’s All Hail the Queen and 1993’s Black Reign. She also released the jazz projects The Dana Owens Album in 2004 and Trav’lin’ Light in 2007. Latifah’s classic song “U.N.I.T.Y.” won a Grammy Award in 1995 for Best Rap Solo Performance.

In addition, Latifah scored a Best Supporting Actress Academy Award nomination for her performance in Chicago. Her list of career accolades also consists of a Golden Globe Award, a Primetime Emmy Award and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

MC Lyte, Monie Love, and D-Nice paid tribute to Queen Latifah at the Kennedy Center Honors. The three Hip-Hop representatives performed a rendition of “Ladies First.” President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden were also in attendance at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Kanye West’s Apology To The Jewish Community Blasted By Peter Rosenberg

Kanye West decided to end 2023 by posting an apologetic message to the Jewish community after making numerous anti-semitic remarks. One famous Jewish American does not believe Ye’s mea culpa is sincere.

Peter Rosenberg spoke with TMZ about Kanye West’s apology. The Hot 97 radio host suggested West needed to make amends so his upcoming Vultures album with Ty Dolla $ign could be finalized.

“I thought, ‘I wonder what the sample is that Kanye needs to try to clear before Friday.’ We all know Kanye notoriously is late with handling album stuff,” Peter Rosenberg theorized.

Rosenberg also said, “I just wonder whether there was something getting held up. And someone said, ‘Hey, this sample does not get cleared if he does not issue an apology.’ Like you guys said, he just goes on chat GPT and boom we get a quote apology.”

On December 26, Kanye West posted a message written in Hebrew directed at members of the Jewish faith. The social media statement included Ye claiming he did not intend to “hurt or disrespect” anyone. West also stated he plans to gain “greater sensitivity and understanding” from the ordeal.

“No, of course not, absolutely not. No part of me believes this apology,” Peter Rosenberg responded when asked if he buys Ye’s expression of regret. The WWE talking head also blasted Kanye West for writing his apology in Hebrew.

Rosenberg said, “I totally agree by the way that the Hebrew part was like so, either intentionally or unintentionally, offensive. As if American Jews can just read Hebrew without vowels. Like bro, it’s just another offensive thing here.”

Additionally, Peter Rosenberg brought up Kanye West’s repeated adoration of Nazi leader Adolf Hitler. Rosenberg also implied Ye did not write the apology because it came off as “inauthentic.”

Cam’ron Talks Shooting His Shot At Halle Berry Before Becoming Famous

Cam’ron recently stopped by All The Smoke with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson. In addition to discussing sports and Hip-Hop on the show, the Harlem native also talked about an encounter with Hollywood legend Halle Berry in Los Angeles.

“I’m at the ATM and n##### is like, ‘Yo, that’s Halle Berry next to you!’ I ain’t got no haircut, I got no shirt on. I’m like, ‘Yo, let me talk to you real quick.’” Cam’ron said.

The Diplomats leader continued, “She’s like, ‘No, no, no, no, no, no. You have to relax.’ I’m like, ‘Hear me out, hear me out.’ So she’s walking to her car mad fast and I’m following her and I had a cassette tape.”

“So she rolled her window down this much. There was a n#### in the passenger seat laid back. I slid the s### through there and gave her my promotional tape,” Cam’ron stated.

Additionally, Cam went on to say he ran into actor Larenz Tate at the American Music Awards six years after his face-to-face with Halle Berry. The Menace II Society star shared some interesting information with the “Oh Boy” hitmaker.

“Larenz Tate was like, ‘Yo, my n####, I f### with you. You’re one of my favorites. You my n####, for years. You know that was me in the passenger seat with Halle when you slid that joint in there.’ I said, ‘That was you my n####?'” Cam’ron told Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson.

Kodak Black Calls On Hamas To Release All Israeli Hostages

Kodak Black has shared his thoughts on the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict in the Middle East. The Florida-raised recording artist showed his support for his “Hebrew homies.”

TMZ published a video of Kodak Black showing off a $20,000 ring featuring the Star of David, a symbol of Jewish identity. Black also used the moment to call for Hamas to release any Israeli hostages.

“The Star of David. And it’s just like perfect timing,” Kodak Black said in the clip. “Perfect timing cause, unfortunately, we’re dealing with this tragedy over there in Israel.”

On October 7, Hamas-led militants conducted a terrorist attack inside Israeli territory, causing over 1,000 deaths. Numerous Israeli citizens were taken captive as well.

Israel then began a counter-operation which included a blockade and bombardment of the Gaza Strip. The Palestinian death toll has reportedly surpassed 20,000 lives lost.

Kodak Black, the son of a Haitian immigrant, also added, “Isreal’s a chosen land, just like Haiti. So if my word means anything, I want all the hostages free. Free all the hostages… Build Israel.”

Hamas has freed some hostages in exchange for Palestinians imprisoned by Israel. After a brief ceasefire, the fighting in the region continued. Israel is said to be expanding its offensive into refugee camps in central Gaza.

Kodak Black apparently filmed his message calling for the release of Israeli hostages after getting arrested for cocaine possession on December 7. Broward County, Florida officials released him on a $5,000 bond.

However, Kodak Black, whose real name is Bill Kapri, later returned to federal custody for violating his supervised release. The 26-year-old entertainer remained on probation for a previous federal gun case.

However, 50 Cent shut his son down with a hilarious yet typical parental response. “I said you need to brush your teeth and get in the bed,” he added. “It’s bedtime.”

DDG Trolls Fans Suggesting Halle Bailey Bought Her Own Christmas Gifts

DDG is hitting back at suggestions that he can’t keep up financially with his singer/actress girlfriend Halle Bailey.

Earlier this week, the rapper and The Little Mermaid star shared videos of their cozy Christmas together. “Spent $500,000 on christmas,” DDG wrote alongside one video showing off his gifts for Halle Bailey. The couple donned matching festive pajamas as they unwrapped the presents. Bailey was overcome with emotion after receiving a diamond Tiffany necklace and a black Birkin bag.

DDG was happy with his haul, which included Balenciaga boots and a set of diamond stud earrings.

The videos went viral, with fans speculating that the singer has given birth to her rumored child. Other fans took the opportunity to bash DDG, claiming Halle Bailey paid for her own Christmas gifts.

Nonetheless, DDG responded to the hate with characteristic humor.

“i give up.. y’all figured it out,” he wrote on X Wednesday (December 27). “im broke asf.. can anybody let me borrow a few thousand til next friday?”

When somebody questioned what he actually does for a living, DDG joked, “i sell weed.. $20 a gram, $100 a 8th.. i also work at foot locker at the beverly center in beverly hills.. what else y’all wanna know.”

He returned to the platform a few hours later with a video showing off stacks of cash, inviting his followers to guess how much money he had to win $100.

Earlier this year, DDG addressed trolls questioning why Halle Bailey would have a baby with a “bum.”

“Updated my bio to clear up confusion,” he wrote in September after changing his X bio to read, “Rich Bum.”

French Montana Flexes $200K Virgil Abloh Louis Vuitton Nike Air Force 1 Sneakers

French Montana has an enviable sneaker collection that includes a pair worth the equivalent of a luxury supercar.

The “Unforgettable” hitmaker was sitting courtside at the Nets game Wednesday (December 27) when he showed off his kicks.

“I got $200,000 on my feet,” French Montana boasted while panning the camera down to his Virgil Abloh-designed Louis Vuitton Nike Air Force 1 sneakers. That’s a Lamborghini. Like my n#### Baby said, ‘That’s a Lil Duval plane on my feet.’”

French Montana paid tribute to the late designer in the caption, writing, “REST IN PEACE VIRGIL.”

Like French Montana, Fat Joe also has a pair of the highly coveted Virgil Abloh-designed sneakers that he refuses to sell because of their sentimental value.

“I got offers of up to $150,000 for this one pair of sneakers,” he explained during an Instagram Live in April. “Now, somebody offering you $150,000 for a pair of sneakers is almost like the devil is tap dancing, like the Sandman at the Apollo. If you gave me a gift, I could never sell a gift. It was a gift.”

He continued: “I don’t believe in selling it, but boy, is the temptation there. Somebody’s just dancing like this trying to give you 150 grand for a pair of sneakers that, by the way, you got for free.”

Meanwhile, French Montana reminded fans he has a new project coming early in the New Year. The fifth installment of his long-running Mac & Cheese mixtape series is due January 5.

Joe Budden Reflects On Past Beef With Jay-Z, Eminem: “I Don’t Regret Any Of It”

Joe Budden is looking back over some of his highly publicized feuds over the years, including his beef with Jay-Z and Eminem.

The outspoken rapper turned podcaster was asked if he has misgivings over any of his spats during the latest episode of The Pivot podcast. While Budden said he has no regrets, he admitted he could have handled things better.

“I don’t regret any of it ’cause I pulled a lesson from it,” he explained. “All of the yesterdays lead to today. If I change one thing, then the outcome, the result is different.”

When pressed to recall a specific situation he mishandled, Joe Budden went all the way back to the beginning of his career when he was signed to Def Jam while Jay-Z was at the helm.

“I was a young artist on Def Jam trying to work on my second album,” he explained. “And at that time, a lot of the artists on Def Jam had an issue with Jay-Z being the president. This was the first time that a rapper, our peer, was calling the shots, in charge of DMX release date and LL release date, and none of us took that well. And I really didn’t take it well.”

Budden confessed, “I didn’t handle myself well at all,” and would belittle the label at every turn.

“Every interview that they booked for me, I kicked them back in,” he added. “Every chance I got in front of a microphone, I had disparaging things to say about people who, ultimately, were maybe trying to help me. Even if they weren’t trying to help me, if I would’ve helped myself, I would have been in a different predicament. But I didn’t. Gas on the fire.”

Joe Budden Insists His Intentions Were Selfless

Ultimately, Budden says that although he could have expressed himself better, his intentions were pure.

“The intent is always for the better of everyone. It’s never a selfish act,” he said. “When I had my back and forth with Shady Records and Eminem, I was fighting for me and my brothers to get a better situation. What other fights? I forgot all of them now… But there was good intent behind it all.”

Rick Ross Vouches For Lil Baby’s Budget Travel Choice Following Viral Airport Video

Rick Ross has come to the defense of Lil Baby after social media users are attempting to smear his name over a viral airport video.

Over the weekend, a clip of a fan interacting with the 4PF rapper has been making rounds on social media, with fans accusing Lil Baby of boarding a Spirit airlines flight. Even though Spirit is considered a budget travel option alternative to major airlines, Ross seemingly has no shame in flying with the carrier and even commended Baby for doing the same. Rozay went on to reveal that not only has he flown Spirit in the past, but he also claimed he did it for well over a decade in a comment on an Instagram post reposting the clip.

“Wise man, I did it 15 years straight,” Ross wrote in the comment.

Say what you want, but we all did just see Rozay buy a jet and put out a virtual ZipRecruiter application for a personal flight attendant—so maybe all of those Spirit flights saved him some serious cash over the years.

Check out the clip of the hilarious interaction below.

Kanye West Slammed By American Jewish Committee For Apology In Hebrew

Kanye West’s apology over his antisemitic remarks has received a mixed reaction from Jewish organizations. West, also known as Ye, apologized to the Jewish community on Instagram on Tuesday (December 26) for making antisemitic comments on social media and in public for more than a year.

However, a spokesperson for The American Jewish Committee criticized the rapper’s use of Hebrew, arguing that he “intentionally” denied most American Jews and non-Jews from being able to read his apology.

“Beyond being bizarre and possibly a ploy to gain more attention, the Hebrew apology – posted without translation – is inaccessible to most American Jews who do not speak the language,” they said in a statement to The Associated Press. “While he claims that he is committed to learning and greater understanding, this apology speaks to ‘any pain I may have caused,’ rather than acknowledging the pain that he has caused.”

Kanye West lost partnerships and business deals after making antisemitic remarks in October 2022. He has made offensive comments about Jewish people on and off since then, including at a Las Vegas album listening party two weeks ago. Then he randomly decided to issue an apology in Hebrew.

“I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for any unintended outburst caused by my words or actions,” it read. “It was never my intention to hurt or disrespect, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused.”

Tyga Spotted With Chloe Bailey Amid Son’s Baptism Planning & $500K NDA With Blac Chyna

Tyga and Chloe Bailey appear to be getting close while he’s actively co-parenting actively co-parenting a major event with Blac Chyna, his former partner and the mother of his child King.

Tyga began trending on social media earlier this week after images of him and Bailey surfaced online and immediately sparked dating rumors. The pair appeared to be all smiles as they left a West Hollywood hotspot together late Tuesday night. While it’s unclear whether or not they spent the holidays together, it’s obvious Tyga is focused on finding time to spend with Bailey considering he is somewhat busy with a family matter at the moment.

According to multiple reports, the Young Money rap star and his former partner Chyna are in the process of planning a baptism ceremony for their son, in which they expect to host high-profile guests. As a result, Tyga and Chyna are reportedly requiring attendees of the baptism to sign a $500,000 non-disclosure agreement.

Court documents state attendees are mandated to allow Tyga and Chyna to “inspect and confiscate cell phones, tablets, small watches, and any other devices” during the baptism and also asserts that “all pictures, recordings, records, documents or other information” relating to Tyga, Chyna, and King are prohibited from being shared publicly.

Kanye West Disappoints White Supremacist Pal Nick Fuentes With Antisemitism Apology

White supremacist Nick Fuentes, who aligned with Kanye West in 2022, bemoaned Ye’s apology to the Jewish community. Extremism watchdog Right Wing Watch shared a clip of Fuentes reacting to Kanye’s apology on the hate leader’s web show.

“Kind of a big, tough blackpill for all of us to swallow,” he said of Kanye. “Disappointing but not really a surprise.”

Fuentes added, “He apologized and it’s so over. It’s a total capitulation. I never thought I would see it.”

Last year, Kanye began associating with Fuentes. The two infamously dined together with former President Donald Trump at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club in November 2022. A Federal Election Commission filing revealed Kanye’s presidential campaign paid Fuentes more than $14,000 in 2022.

Kanye found a friend in Fuentes at a time when the controversial rapper/producer became a pariah for making antisemitic remarks. Several companies, including Adidas, cut ties with Ye due to his antisemitism. Kanye’s comments were linked to 59 antisemitic incidents in 2022, according to the Anti-Defamation League.

A year later, Kanye apologized for his offensive statements. He wrote his apology in Hebrew and posted it on social media.

“I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for my unplanned outburst caused by my words or actions, it was not my intention to hurt or disrespect, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused,” he wrote. “I am committed to starting with myself and learning from this experience to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future. Your forgiveness is important to me, and I am committed to making amends and promoting unity.”

Kanye issued the apology as he prepared to release a new album with Ty Dolla $ign. Their Vultures album was scheduled to drop in December but went through several delays. The two plan to release the project on January 12.

Kevin Hart Jumps On Tasha K Lawsuit Bandwagon; Accuses Her Of Extortion

Kevin Hart added his name to the list of celebrities who’ve sued controversial vlogger Tasha K. According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Hart filed a lawsuit against Tasha K accusing her of defamation and extortion.

The lawsuit claimed an unknown person allegedly affiliated with Tasha K’s blog said they would “publish a damaging story on social media” unless Hart paid them $250,000. The story turned out to be an interview with Hart’s former personal assistant.

Hart’s team contacted the police to report the incident. They also sent Tasha K a cease and desist letter in November.

“You have already engaged in criminal conduct and tortious acts that would entitle Mr. Hart to monetary damages against you should he elect to commence civil litigation regarding this matter,” the letter read. “To the extent that you do not cease and desist now, your liability for such monetary damages will increase, as will your exposure to criminal penalties.”

Tasha K published a story called “Kevin Hart’s Personal Assistant Tells All!” despite his warnings. She promoted it via social media on Wednesday (December 27). The former assistant said the comedian paid a man millions of dollars to take DUI charges for him, among other sordid allegations.

Hart’s lawsuit was filed a month after R. Kelly sued Tasha K. The disgraced singer accused the Federal Bureau of Prisons official of leaking his private information to her.

Jada Pinkett Smith also threatened to sue Tasha K for publishing a salacious interview with a man claiming to have seen Will Smith engaged in sex with actor Duane Martin. Pinkett Smith called the allegations “ridiculous.”

Tasha K was most famously sued by Cardi B for defamation. A jury awarded roughly $4 million to Cardi B when the civil case went to trial. Tasha K filed for bankruptcy after losing the lawsuit, but a judge would not let the vlogger escape the money owed to Cardi B.

Eazy The Block Captain Warns: Papoose “Has To See Me” In New Audio Detailing Alleged Remy Ma Affair

A bombshell recording of Eazy the Black Captain confessing to an alleged affair with Remy Ma has surfaced online following months of speculation that the rapper was cheating on Papoose, her husband of 15 years.

The Hip-Hop super couple went viral earlier this year after Geechi Gotti accused Remy Ma of having an affair live on stage during a battle against Eazy on Remy’s Chrome 23 league. He claimed that Papoose knocked Eazy out after discovering the Philly battle rapper was messing with his wife.

While the “All Way Up” hitmaker and Eazy both denied the gossip, Gotti claimed a recording was floating around of Eazy admitting Pap put hands on him. John John Da Don leaked small snippets of the recording on the morning of his battle with Eazy earlier this month, but now the entire audio has been released.

Eazy The Block Captain Claims Remy Ma Has Been Staying With Him Since Altercation With Papoose

The explosive 19-minute-long recording features Eazy making a number of startling revelations. He confirms the affair and fight allegations and claims Remy has been staying with him since the altercation with Papoose.

Eazy says that while Remy wants him to keep silent, he’s been “putting the pressure” on Papoose to address the speculation. Nonetheless, Eazy recalls, “She also said, ‘this n#### made the first move. He put you in a f#####-up position, so I can’t tell you what to do. I’m just asking you if you could do that for me.’”

Although Eazy admits Remy is “stressing” over rumors of their alleged affair, he boasts about picking up 5,000 new Instagram followers over the scandal.

However, according to Eazy, Remy doesn’t want to go public “unless her hand is forced.” Ultimately, Eazy said that he’ll do anything Remy wants but Papoose has to run him a fade.

“Tell this n#### he has to see me though,” he warned. “I don’t even give a f### if I lose, but we have to fight though.”

In another portion of the tape, Eazy says Papoose was waiting to corner him that night but denied getting slumped. “That n#### couldn’t even knock me out. N#### don’t even hit that hard, too. No, blood … no scratch, no nothing,” the battle rapper explained. “He had two clean jawns. That was the time to knock me out. It should have been done.”

The recording was shared online following a rift between Eazy and battle rapper and media personality D.I Da Hennyman. Although Eazy claimed the previously leaked snippets were altered, D.I. says he only masked the identity of the other speaker.

HoneyKomb Brazy Out On Bond Following Arrest On Federal Gun Charge

HoneyKomb Brazy posted bond in a federal gun case, according to Mobile’s WKRG. The Alabama-bred artist was released from custody after getting charged with being a felon in possession of a gun.

Mobile County sheriff’s deputies arrested HoneyKomb Brazy on December 18. Brazy was one of the passengers in a vehicle stopped for driving in the left lane without passing and tinted windows. The driver, a 31-year-old man named Mason Fuller, was allegedly wearing soft armor and had a bulletproof vest in the car. Authorities found two firearms during the traffic stop.

Brazy, whose real name is Nashon Jones, cannot possess a weapon stemming from his conviction for assault and robbery. Fuller and the other passenger, a 39-year-old man named Miguel Hall, were also prohibited from possessing a firearm.

An associate of Brazy used his Instagram account to speak out about his latest arrest on Wednesday (December 27). The person claimed the other men in the vehicle were supposed to Brazy’s security. The 28-year-old rapper allegedly did not know they were felons.

“Boy this Brazy how tf they doing my brother,” the message read. “@Ihustlenoluck brought these fakes ass security n##### around him from Texas and we thinking these mfs legit. How tf these n##### felons too, got us thinking y’all hired real security. Then n##### pleading not guilty and s### like they tryna set him up, but the guns in one of them n##### name and in the other n#### BM name.”

Brazy was hit with a federal gun charge a month after he was arrested for indecent exposure. He was accused of exposing himself to a corrections officer while he was in jail in 2021. The charge was dismissed on December 13, just a few days before his latest arrest. The alleged victim did not want the case to move forward.

B.G. Responds To Snitching Rumors Spread By Wack 100 & Others

B.G. publicly addressed snitching allegations against him in an interview with Pop Austin Media’s TTE Notti. The former Cash Money Records artist said the claims initially bothered him before he received reassurance that helped him brush off the rumors.

“At first, I was feeling some type of way,” B.G. told Notti. “But the n#### whose opinion matter reached out to me. ‘Cause I been paying attention to this internet, right? And this internet a fool, ya heard me? This s### a beast, ya heard me? You know the internet undefeated and truth don’t need no co-signer, you heard me?”

He continued, “Once I talked to my real jail n##### who reached out to me and they heard about it and then the n##### on the streets that I know standing on law and standing on business, they like, ‘Man, listen. Wack 100 was the most notable figure pushing the snitching allegations against B.G. The allegations were connected to a man named Kentrell Washington, who faced a gun charge stemming from an incident in 2009.

B.G. and Washington were riding in the same vehicle when New Orleans police conducted a traffic stop in 2009. Cops discovered a 9mm Beretta semiautomatic pistol while searching the vehicle. Washington allegedly said, “That gun and weed is mine.”

Wack 100 and others looking into the gun case accused B.G. of testifying against Washington. Wack 100 claimed the paperwork proved B.G. was a rat. The comments angered Boosie Badazz, who called Wack 100 a “clown” and dismissed the notion of B.G. snitching.

B.G. was released from prison in September 2023. He was sentenced to 14 years in prison for gun possession and witness tampering.

EXCLUSIVE: Diddy Requests More Time To Reply To Jane Doe Gang Rape Lawsuit

Diddy is asking a judge to give him more time to reply to a Jane Doe’s shocking gang rape lawsuit due to circumstances that he says are beyond his control.

Diddy and former Bad Boy Entertainment president Harve Pierre are currently involved in a legal battle against an accuser, identified only as Jane Doe, who has filed a lawsuit alleging gang rape and trafficking.

The incident is said to have occurred in 2003 at Diddy’s recording studio Daddy’s House. The lawsuit details a harrowing series of events, beginning with the accuser meeting Pierre in a lounge in Michigan, where she was allegedly forced to engage in oral sex while Pierre smoked crack. She claims that after speaking to Diddy on the phone, she was flown to New York on a private jet and subsequently sexually assaulted at the studio.

Doe, who was 17 at the time of the alleged incident, has sought to remain anonymous in the lawsuit, citing Diddy’s high profile and her own safety concerns. However, Diddy and Pierre are challenging her attempt to remain anonymous.

Last week, a judge ordered Diddy and Pierre to file their replies by December 27, but that will no longer work for Diddy, according to his lawyer.

“Due to circumstances beyond the control of the Combs Defendants, which circumstances are of a confidential nature, we respectfully request that the Court modify the Motion Schedule to extend Defendants’ time to file their opposition to the Motion from December 27, 2023 to January 17, 2024, and extend Plaintiff’s time to file a reply, if any, from January 8, 2024 to January 31, 2024,” Diddy’s lawyer Jonathan Davis wrote to the court.

In past court documents obtained exclusively by AllHipHop.com, Diddy and Harve have already indicated that they don’t consent to Jane Doe’s motion to proceed anonymously.

Doe’s lawyer, Douglas H. Wigdor, has emphasized the importance of her anonymity, highlighting the potential chilling effect on future plaintiffs and the significant trauma she has already experienced due to the alleged assault. The disagreement has set the stage for the first major battle in the high-stakes lawsuit.

Doe’s lawsuit is part of a series of legal challenges Diddy is facing. Other sexual assault allegations have also been brought against him by different accusers, including his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura and two other women.

Diddy has publicly denied the allegations and claims he didn’t commit the acts alleged against him. He

s vowed to fight for his name, family and the “truth.”
