Michael Jackson Sexual Abuse Lawsuits Haunt “Thriller” Star From The Grave

Two sexual abuse cases against Michael Jackson have been revived.

According to court documents, a California appeals court ruled on Friday (August 18) that two men who have accused the late Thriller singer of sexually abusing them as children would be able to resume their lawsuits against Jackson’s companies.

Wade Robson, 40, and James Safechuck, 45, allege employees of MJJ Productions Inc. and MJJ Ventures Inc were complicit in Jackson’s sexual abuse against them as children.

Robson and Safechuck’s lawsuits claimed that the employees acted as “co-conspirators, collaborators, facilitators and alter egos” for the abuse when they should have had a “duty of care” to protect the boys from it.

MJJ Productions Inc and MJJ Ventures Inc are now owned by Jackson’s estate, which has once again denied that the late singer abused the boys.

A lawyer for the estate, Jonathan Steinsapir, said after Friday’s decision, “We remain fully confident that Michael is innocent of these allegations, which are contrary to all credible evidence and independent corroboration, and which were only first made years after Michael’s death by men motivated solely by money.”

Vince Finaldi, the lawyer for Robson and Safechuck, said in a statement that the court had overturned “incorrect rulings in these cases, which were against California law and would have set a dangerous precedent that endangered children”.

Robson and Safechuck were the subjects of the 2019 HBO documentary “Leaving Neverland.” In the documentary, they claimed Jackson molested them as children and cultivated relationships with their families to access them. Jackson died in 2009.

Kid Rock Feels Social Media’s Wrath After Flip-Flopping On Bud Light

The Alt-Right is attacking Kid Rock for seeming to flip-flop on boycotting Anheuser-Busch for partnering with Dylan Mulvaney, a popular transgender woman on TikTok.

According to TMZ, the recording artist was spotted drinking Bud Light while attending the Colt Ford show at the Skydeck concert venue in Tennessee.

The uproar comes after he said “Grandpa is feeling a little frisky today. Let me tell you as clear and concise as possible. F*** Bud Light and f*** Anheuser-Busch” in a video a few months ago because they aligned themselves with an LGBTQIA influencer in a recent campaign, where her face was placed on cans of the beer.

Now, the trolls and critics are after him, calling him a fraud and mocking him for contradicting himself.

“LOL,” one Twitter (X) user wrote. “Last night Kid Rock was pictured drinking a Bud Light at a concert after he led an effort to cancel the company. It wasn’t long ago he shot up a case of Bud Light with an AR-15.”

MSNBC‘s Mehdi Hasan mocked, “First, he doesn’t just vow to boycott Bud Light, he shoots a case of it on camera with an AR-15. Then, not only does he go back to immediately drinking Bud Light again but he does it in public and gets caught. Can’t make this stuff up.”

Ultra-Conservative Nick Adams, who calls himself the Alpha Male, wrote a message to the masses making light of the whole controversy.

“I have been made aware of the social media posts circulating that show Kid Rock (allegedly) enjoying a can of Bud Light,” he wrote. “I take this allegation seriously and am in close contact with sources on the ground.

“I am currently conducting a thorough investigation, evaluating confidential photo and video evidence, and interviewing eye witnesses. Kid Rock is an American icon and a patriot. He will be considered innocent until proven guilty. I have complete and total faith that we will unover (sic) the truth.”

Blueface Spars with Floyd Mayweather While Chrisean Cheers Ringside

Blueface recently went one-on-one with Floyd “Money” Mayweather in the ring. You gotta give him props for his gutsiness, but he couldn’t event touch Floyd. Nevertheless, he stepped in the ring with the undefeated champ himself for an intense sparring session.

Going up against Mayweather seems like attempting to outrun Usain Bolt in a pair of flip flops, but at least Blueface gave it his all and showed some grit and determination in there. In the end, Coach Mayweather acknowledged that Blueface had earned his approval. That alone is no small feat.

Wack 100 was on site for the matchup as he posed with Floyd and Blueface after the sparring match. Taken from Zeus Network’s Crazy In Love show, Chrisean Rock is heard cheering on her man in the background as Floyd applies the pressure to Blueface in the ring.

Looks like Blueface is taking his boxing pretty seriously.

Brandon Vee’s “Java Love”: A Tribute to Unaltered Beauty and the Power of Color

In early August, R&B singer and Reiki Healer Brandon Vee shattered the airwaves with his newest hit, “Java Love”. This isn’t just a song; it’s a fervent, rallying cry against societal norms confining people within specific labels. From personal experiences and extensive observation, Brandon understands what it’s like to be defined by assumptions and expectations of others and your complexities reduced to a simplistic label. The talented artist takes a sonic sledgehammer to this damaging practice.

With “Java Love”, Brandon crafts an anthem that champions people marginalized by stereotypes, particularly women. Through his lyrics, he weaves a lifeline for women of color who’ve been unfairly typecast and pigeonholed. He sees through the trap of labels like “sassy” or “angry”, and with each note, he’s flipping the script. “Java Love” isn’t just a melody; it’s a declaration of defiance, a testament that strength and beauty are innate, unyielding forces.

Brandon doesn’t stop at the surface but uses his lyrics to peel back layers of societal complexities. He artfully employs the metaphor of coffee, summoning the rich aroma of freshly brewed beans to symbolize the unfiltered beauty of men and women of color. “Coffee, you are my happiness, straight black with no additives,” he sings, rejecting the idea that authenticity requires alteration. With lyrics like “Java love, I need your Java love, melanin my medicine,” he ignites a revolution of empowerment. The song becomes an anthem, a tribute to natural beauty that requires no additives or alterations.

The genius of Brandon’s lyrics extends further. He highlights the media’s tendency to brand people of color, singing, “Caution that you’re hot, but I know you’re not, they just want to put the label on.” This is what often happens in our world, with most people forming their opinions about others based on what they saw on the news, movies, or social media clips. With each verse, Brandon highlights the media’s penchant for reducing people of color to labels, weaving narratives, and creating pitfalls for them.

As a black and Latino man, Brandon offers a personal narrative within the song’s theme. He provides a glimpse into his life, unveiling his tumultuous journey of acceptance and rejection. In a media-saturated world growing more politically and socially polarized, Brandon’s “Java Love” serves as a rallying cry against society’s narrow standards, reminding people of color that true strength lies in unapologetically being yourself. More than a melody or an expression, the song is a declaration of unity, amplifying the collective experience of people of color.

From his beginnings as a Brooklyn poet to the soul-stirring soundscapes of his latest album, Revolution Of The Soul, released on April 28, 2023, Brandon’s artistic evolution has been one of growth and self-discovery. Drawing inspiration from legends like J. Cole, Childish Gambino, and Funkadelic, his melodies aren’t just a symphony for the ears; they’re a path to introspection and catharsis. It’s as if every note he produces has a drop of healing, a touch of magic that resonates with anyone seeking solace in music.

With its rich metaphors and captivating soundscape, “Java Love” isn’t just another song. It’s a declaration of embracing uniqueness and a fervent plea to dismantle societal molds. In our highly divided society, Brandon Vee isn’t just an artist. He’s a catalyst for change, a reminder that music isn’t just entertainment; it’s a powerful tool for transformation.

Drake Almost Pegged In The Head With His Own Book During Tour Stop

Drake recently caught a book a fan threw at his head during a concert.

While the “In My Feelings” rapper spoke to the audience at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California on Friday, a fan threw a book towards his head.

Drake, who was holding a microphone at the time, showed off his quick reflexes by catching the book in his other hand.

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/2szVy2-ZLkE?feature=share

“You’re lucky I’m quick,” Drake responded from the stage, according to audience footage posted on social media. “Would’ve had to beat your a*s if that hit me in the face.”

Drake then threw the book to the floor and continued talking to the audience. The book was revealed to be a copy of the fan’s newly-released poetry collection “Titles Ruin Everything: A Stream of Consciousness.”

The incident marked the third time a Drake fan had thrown a hard object at him on his It’s All a Blur tour. Previously, a phone hit him in the arm and a vape landed on the stage beside him.

Multiple fans have also thrown their bras onstage.

Drake’s dad also pranked the rapper last week by employing a crowd member to throw a pink bra at him during one of his performances.

The It’s All a Blur Tour, Drake’s co-headlining trek with 21 Savage, will conclude in Columbus, Ohio on October 9.

50 Cent Shares Why He Didn’t Buy BET: “Wasn’t Worth $3 Billion”

Paramount+ decided to take BET off the market last week, even after multiple big names made bids for ownership, which increased its value in the network’s eyes.

As previously reported, Tyler Perry, Diddy and 50 Cent were among the leading contenders to own the world’s first all-Black content cable channel and its affiliated platforms and streaming services.

Now, 50 Cent has explained why he stepped away from the deal. After seeing the hefty evaluation, 50 Cent said the asking price for ownership of BET was too much.

The “Get Rich or Die Trying” mogul also brought Kenya Barris and Shaquille O’Neal to the table for acquisition talks. But even with those heavy hitters, 50 Cent didn’t want to spend $3 billion on it.

Taking to Instagram, 50 Cent shared a screenshot of a headline that read: “Shaquille O’Neal and 50 Cent Fail to Secure $3,000,000,000 Worth Buy Out as 53YO Legend Makes $2 Billion Refusal.”

He wrote in the caption, “We will get them next time, @shaq. That s### wasn’t worth 3,000,000,000.”

Jermaine Dupri Reacts To Claims He’s Mad About Hip-Hop 50 Events In NYC

Jermaine Dupri returned to Twitter (X) to clarify some recent comments he made about celebrations for Hip-Hop culture’s 50th anniversary.

On August 18, JD tweeted, “Just for the record! No brands have done any dinners or get-togethers in Atlanta celebrating the 50 anniversary of Hip-Hop. That’s Crazy!!!”

That post ignited conversation on social media. One Twitter (X) user pointed out Dupri didn’t participate in the star-studded, day-long “Hip Hop 50 Live” show at New York’s Yankee Stadium on August 11.

Dupri responded, “And your point is?” The So So Def label founder also got into a back-and-forth with someone online over the fact that he did attend the Sprite sponsored the “ATL 50 Hip-Hop” concert.

“I’m glad you went back to what I said in my tweet because I would not use the word dinners if I meant a concert,” JD stated. He also asked, “But my point behind the tweet, do you feel like that concert was a representation of something that’s never happened?”

In the wee hours of Monday morning (August 21), Jermaine Dupri had more to say about his complaints and the reactions he received to his comments. Apparently, the Atlanta-raised artist/executive wanted to make it clear he didn’t have issues with the way Hip-Hop’s 50th birthday was honored in New York City.

“[It’s] crazy! I see someone is trying to take my tweet and create the narrative that [I’m] mad about what’s been happening in NY for #HipHop50 compared to what’s been happening in Atlanta, lol that’s completely false,” Dupri posted. “My statement was all [business] related.”

NLE Choppa On Black Community: “It’s Like We Need Negativity To Fuel Us”

NLE Choppa likes to give his opinions on various topics. Over the weekend, the 20-year-old entertainer turned his attention to the Black community.

NLE Choppa posted a message on Twitter (X) directed at members of his own race. In particular, the “S### Me Out” performer focused on the relationship between the genders.

“Hate has divided a good amount of Black females and Black males,” he wrote. “Our community [used] to live in so much love & togetherness!”

The Memphis, Tennesse native continued, “Now we criticize and crucify each other verbally, physically and emotionally. It hurt so much to see, it’s like we need negativity to fuel us.”

https://twitter.com/Nlechoppa1/status/1693331489436615047?s=20

It’s not clear what sparked this post by NLE Choppa. However, in recent days, sections of the internet have been making fun of the Cottonwood 2 album creator for his naming his newborn son ChoZen Wone.

“His name is special, spiritual and unique,” Choppa said. He also added, “ChoZen – picked by God, God’s favorite and also zenful energy. W(one) – he already ‘won” at life, and he’s also the ‘chosen’ one.”

In addition, NLE Choppa created rap blog content by taking on the Non-Player Character trend made popular by internet personality Pinkydoll. Fellow Memphis rapper Key Glock publicly laughed at Choppa’s NPC attempt.

Wack 100 Still Doesn’t Believe Tory Lanez Shot Megan Thee Stallion

A California jury convicted Tory Lanez on three felony charges in 2022, which were connected to the 2020 shooting of Megan The Stallion.

Megan Thee Stallion publicly named Tory Lanez as the shooter. Following his trial, a judge sentenced Lanez to 10 years in prison for assault with a semiautomatic handgun, having a loaded and unregistered firearm in a vehicle and gross negligence in discharging his firearm.

Despite the judicial system ruling Tory Lanez guilty, there are rap personalities who believe the Canadian singer/rapper’s claims of innocence. For example, Wack 100 still thinks Lanez didn’t pull the trigger that night.

“Tory’s innocent… He didn’t do that s###,” Wack 100 said on No Jumper’s Adam & Wack 100 Show. Wack also went on to say, “He’ll be home in two years.” No Jumper founder, Adam22, disagreed.

Adam22 argued anyone claiming Tory Lanez didn’t shoot Megan Thee Stallion essentially accepts a conspiracy theory about the case. At one point, Lanez’s father, Sonstar Peterson, pushed an unsubstantiated narrative that Roc Nation somehow conspired against his son.

“Who do you think shot [Megan Thee Stallion]?” Adam22 asked Wack 100. The longtime manager of rap acts like The Game and Blueface responded, “Kelsey… accidental they’re struggling for the gun, yeah.”

Kelsey Harris, Megan’s former friend, was at the scene of the shooting on July 12, 2020. Harris testified during Lanez’s trial. Prosecutors also presented a text message from Harris that night which read, “Help. Tory shot Meg. 911.”

Akademiks previously expressed skepticism about Tory Lanez’s guilt. The podcaster said, “I’m still kinda a little doubtful, but the verdict is the verdict. I think the people who were reporting at court at that time were biased.”

Megan Thee Stallion recently delivered a message to her doubters and condemners. During her set at the Outside Lands Festival, the Grammy winner declared, “F### all my haters! None of that s### you was doing or saying broke me.”

Ciara Claps Back At College Coach For Calling Her New EP “TikTok Music”

R&B veteran Ciara let her 7-track CiCi EP loose on August 18. The project hosts songs such as “BRB,” “How We Roll” featuring Chris Brown and “Forever” featuring Lil Baby.

A Twitter (X) user took aim at Ciara for her “BRB” song. College of William & Mary women’s basketball assistant coach Kenia Cole posted, “She making Tik Tok music [at this point.]”

Ciara responded to Coach Kenia Cole’s critical take. The Grammy winner shot back, “And… you’re watching… 🙂 taking time to comment. Gotta love it. #CiCi EP.”

One of the singer’s fans showed her support by posting, “THANK YOU FOR LETTING #CiCi OUT ON THESE HOES! SHUT ‘EM UP, FAVE!!!!!!!! #CiCi outside [for real], lmaoooooo YES!!!!!!”

That comment led to Ciara stating, “Not the assistant coach of a women’s basketball team taking time to hate… that makes no sense.” She added a GIF of actress Viola Davis grabbing her purse.

CiCi joins a discography that also includes full-length albums like 2004’s Goodies, 2006’s The Evolution, 2009’s Fantasy Ride and her self-titled LP in 2013.

The music video for “How We Roll” co-starring Chris Brown racked up 8.8 million YouTube views since its premiere on August 4. “Forever” with Lil Baby already surpassed 1.1 million plays in three days.

Blac Youngsta Declares War On The World Following Brother’s Shooting Death

Blac Youngsta has reportedly lost another sibling to gun violence. The Memphis-bred rapper took to Instagram to share his thoughts on the tragedy.

“I love [you] baby brother,” he wrote. “Rest up. I’m gone make the world pay. I swear to God. Nobody [is] safe. Standing over everybody.”

The 33-year-old 4LIFE album creator also added, “I’m ready for whatever come with this s###. It’s ok. Don’t feel sorry for me. I’m not gone feel sorry for nobody. Only God knows.”

According to Fox 13, the Memphis Police Department confirmed a man died from gunshot wounds near a gas station in the city on Friday (August 18).

While authorities haven’t released information about the victim in that shooting, other reports suggest investigators discovered Blac Youngsta’s brother dead at the scene.

Youngsta mourned the passing of two other family members in recent years. The Yo Gotti protégé previously dealt with losing a brother in 2016 and another brother in 2019.

“Life will never be the same,” he wrote via Instagram on Sunday (August 20). “But God got me. I’m the strongest man [in] the world.” Police haven’t identified a suspect in the August 18 shooting.

Soulja Boy Denies Being In Illuminati, Claims He’d Have Fewer Haters As A Devil Worshipper

Hip-hop artists have long faced allegations of belonging to the Illuminati, with some of your favorite rappers accused of selling their soul or sacrificing loved ones in the pursuit of fortune and fame.

Soulja Boy is no different, and his rise in the industry was subject to the same Illuminati conspiracy theories after he seemingly came out of nowhere and was propelled to early viral success when he emerged onto the scene in the late 2000s.

During a recent Instagram Live session, the Atlanta-based rapper addressed accusations he’s part of the occult. However, according to Soulja Boy, if he were involved in the Illuminati, he’d have already shut down all his haters.

“‘Soulja Boy joined the Illuminati, that’s how he got his money. That’s how he got famous, that’s how he got rich,’” he told his IG Live viewers, recounting the gossip. “But guess what? All I ever did was pray to God and stayed in the studio and stayed down until I made it, until I got on. They always gon’ try to discredit you for anything you do.”

The “Crank That (Soulja Boy)” hitmaker  explained his belief in God means “you gon’ go through s###.” Among these trials are facing lies in the media and beefing with unknown haters. “You go through more s### when you f#####’ with God.”

Moreover, Soulja Boy insisted his life would be easier if he actually dabbled in the dark forces.

“If I was like a devil ass artist that worship the devil and s###, I’d be straight,” he surmised. “It wouldn’t be no blogs lying on my name, it wouldn’t be no rappers beefing with me, you know what I’m saying? But since I f### with God, I’ma go through more s### than the average person.”

Lul Tim’s Attorney Confirms Rapper Beat King Von Murder Charges

Lul Tim’s attorney has reportedly confirmed the murder charges against him have been dropped.

YouTube creator Mickey Truth broke the news this weekend, claiming Lul Tim—who was initially arrested for the murder of King Von—beat the murder charges after prosecutors classified his actions as self-defense. However, at that time, there was no official confirmation, and a search for Lul Tim’s government name in the Fulton County case records garnered no results.

King Von was fatally shot during a fight outside an Atlanta Hookah lounge on November 6, 2020. Cops arrested Lul Tim the following day. He was charged with felony murder in King Von’s death.

Authorities believe Von was fatally shot during an altercation between his entourage and a group of people that included Quando Rondo and Luh Tim. Six people were shot during an exchange of gunfire. Three of them, including Kin Von, died from their injuries.

Lul Tim posted a $100,000 bond in March 2021 and was released from Fulton County Jail.

However, Lul Tim’s attorney recently confirmed murder charges have been dropped. “The case against Mr. Leeks was dismissed prior to ever being indicted,” Noah Pines said in a statement to XXL.

Meanwhile, Asian Doll, King Von’s girlfriend, reacted to the initial rumors on social media. She claimed it wasn’t a surprise that cops dropped the charges against Lul Tim because he didn’t do it. According to Asian Doll, King Von was taken out by the authorities.

“Because the police said Tim ain’t kill him the police did,” she shared in a since-deleted tweet.

Lil Wop Rejects Gender Transition Plans, Shares Explicit OnlyFans Videos On Social Media

Lil Wop has announced he is calling off his transition after revealing earlier this year he was taking steps to become a transgender woman.

The former Gucci Mane artist took to social media over the weekend to inform fans of his plans. According to Lil Wop, he made the decision because the baddies “need” him. However, he will still wear women’s clothing and identify as gay.

“I ain’t transition no more the bad b###### & the trans b###### need a real n#### like me,” Wop wrote August 18. “And just to clarify I’m not saying I’m not gay or I’m not gone be dressing up I’m just not fully transition.”

He added, “I’m gone be a boy to sometimes lol.”

In May, Lil Wop took to social media to announce his plans to undergo a gender transition. “In The Transition Into Becoming A Full Transgender,” he wrote in the since-deleted post.

He had previously come out as bisexual to his fans, revealing “I like Guys & Girls” in 2022.

Days after announcing he will no longer be transitioning, Lil Wop turned X (formerly Twitter) into X-rated. He shared a trio of very explicit videos from his OnlyFans account with his followers. While he appears to be the person in the extremely graphic clips, it is unclear if the videos are throwbacks or if the Chicago-based rapper has cut off his dreadlocks.

Chloe Bailey Snaps Amid Halle Pregnancy Rumors: “Keep My Sister’s Name Out Your Mouth”

Halle Bailey is the topic of internet gossip with unfounded speculation she’s pregnant, and her sister Chloe is not here for it, telling the rumor mongers to stop talking about her lil sis.

The star of Disney’s The Little Mermaid remake was at the center of a social media storm over the weekend, with users claiming she’s pregnant sparked by clips of Halle Bailey wearing baggy clothes. Many people shared recent videos of Halle wearing an oversized shirt dress, claiming she’s hiding a growing baby bump.

The videos are from August 14, when Halle and Chloe attended Beyonce’s stop on the Renaissance World Tour in Atlanta.

Others posted a clip from her rapper boyfriend’s YouTube Vlogs. In one video, a woman who appears to be Halle wearing a baggy tee walks past DDG. She only appears on screen for a brief moment, but it was enough to convince many that Halle is pregnant. In another, fans catch the swiftest glimpse of her stomach while she’s wearing a bathing suit.

However, big sister Chloe heard the whispers and stuck up for Halle during a recent Instagram Live chat. While she didn’t shut down or address the gossip directly, she told folks to stop talking about Halle.

“Y’all better keep my sister’s name out your mouth,” Chloe declared. “Thank you. Amen, hallelujah. ‘Bout to get me riled the hell up. Anyways…”

When somebody off camera remarked, “We don’t play about Halle, “Chloe replied, “No. Like, what the heck? Period.”

Chrisean Rock Facing Backlash For Smoking During Pregnancy

Chrisean Rock and Blueface may have broken up, but their trials and tribulations are still being played out on their reality show, Crazy In Love

In the latest episode, which aired Sunday (20 August), the toxic couple is engaged in yet another argument. In one clip circulating on social media, Blueface and Chrisean are discussing how much money she makes.

However, rather than the usual backlash over the couple’s antics, viewers were more concerned about the expectant mother smoking.

Many took to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, to voice their thoughts.

“Chrisean smoking while pregnant on an opening scene is insane,” one person wrote.

“I can’t believe Chrisean Rock just smoking weed while she months pregnant on tv for the world to see,’ another added.

One person challenged those who said pregnancy and motherhood would “change” Chrisean Rock.

“Wait…Chrisean is on tv smoking a blunt while pregnant,” they wrote. “Which one of y’all FOOLISHLY said “this baby would change her”?”

Despite the backlash, this isn’t the first time Chrisean Rock has been spotted smoking during her pregnancy.

Back in March, Blueface defended her actions, despite previously condemning her for smoking while pregnant.

“Lots of women smoke weed until their last trimester,” he posted on social media. “There is no effect don’t shoot the messenger.”

However, the CDC states: “Marijuana use during pregnancy can be harmful to your baby’s health. The chemicals in marijuana (in particular, tetrahydrocannabinol or THC) pass through your system to your baby and may harm your baby’s development.”

Meanwhile, despite their separation, Blueface and Chrisean Rock were spotted together at a party over the weekend, sparking reconciliation rumors.

Nile Rodgers Threatens Far-Right Political Group In Switzerland For Using His Music

Nile Rodgers has threatened legal action after a far-right political group used the hit song “We Are Family” in a campaign.

The songwriter/musician has asked Switzerland’s rightwing populist Swiss People’s Party (SVP) to stop using a “soundalike” version of Sister Sledge’s song “We Are Family” in its election campaign.

In preparation for the Swiss parliamentary elections which will take place in October, SVP, who adheres to national conservatism, released “Das Isch d’SVP (That’s the SVP).”

The song’s chorus directly echoes the 1979 hit “We Are Family,” which was originally written by Rodgers and the late Bernard Edwards.

“I wrote ‘We Are Family’ to be the ultimate song about inclusion and diversity at all levels, regardless of race, ethnicity, age, gender, religion or sexual orientation,” the musician wrote on Twitter/X. “I condemn its use by the SVP (Swiss People’s Party) or anyone else not keeping with the values of the song and all decent people. The purpose of the song is to bring joy to all with no exclusions!”

Rodgers, 70, added, “@HipgnosisSongs, @sonymusicpub and @warnerchappell are all working to have the SVP cease and desist their use of the song.”

SVP delegate Thomas Matter has been credited as the artist behind the political group’s song, under the name DJ Tommy. Matter told Blick, a Swiss tabloid, that the track “has nothing to do with” the well-known hit.

“I know the song by Sister Sledge, that’s also a super song,” the former businessman told the outlet. “But ‘Das Isch d’SVP’ was written especially for this project and has nothing to do with ‘We Are Family.””

Matter, 57, added, “Of course, in pop music there are a million songs that sound alike, there’s nothing surprising or new about that.”

SVP’s song is no longer available to listen to on YouTube.

Lul Tim Might’ve Beat King Von Murder Charges—But Asian Doll Says He Didn’t Do It Anyway

Lil Durk and members of the O’Block family aren’t going to be happy if the news about the prime suspect in King Von’s murder case is true.

According to multiple reports, Quando Rondo’s close associate Lul Tim, who’s accused of fatally shooting King Von in November 2020, is no longer facing charges in the murder case. Word on the street is YouTube creator Mickey Truth broke the news the charges against were dropped after discovering prosecutors reportedly now classify Lul Tim’s actions as self-defense. All of this information has flooded social media after several new videos from the deadly altercation surfaced—seemingly providing evidence that King Von was assaulting Quando Rondo before he died.

While Mikey Truth is obviously not an official source from the State of Georgia criminal justice system, Mr. Truth claims he got his information from the Fulton County Magistrate. And while confirmation that the charges against Lul Tim have been dropped hasn’t been fully vetted yet, a search for Lul Tim’s government name in the Fulton County case records turns up no results.

However, according to King Von’s former girlfriend Asian Doll, the charges being dropped against Lul Tim weren’t a surprise to her—because she claims he didn’t even do it. As other reacted to the news, Asian Doll also took to Twitter (X) and said she’s leaning toward an unconfirmed theory that King Von was taken out by authorities.

At the end of the day, it’s hard to even consider Asian Doll’s conspiracy theory, mainly because there appears to be video clearly showing Lul Tim allegedly firing the shots that killed King Von. But in all honesty, I’m not sure what to believe. Did Lul Tim really beat the case? Was King Von a serial killer like all of these Chicago drill rap YouTubers are claiming? Has Asian Doll exposed one of the wildest Hip-Hop police conspiracies of 2023?

I guess only time will tell.

Blac Chyna Addresses Khloe Kardashian’s Claim To Be Third Parent To Dream

Blac Chyna has opened up about her co-parenting relationships with Rob Kardashian and Tyga.

During a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, the model, 35, opened up about her co-parenting relationships with the fathers of her two children.

Chyna, real name Angela White, shares a son King Cairo, 10, with Tyga and a daughter, Dream, six, with Rob.

“I feel like with everything, time heals everything, and people change, and situations change, and you get to see the situation for what it is, and the situation is Dream,” the model told the outlet, referring to her shaky past with Rob, 36, and his family.

“And also too, let’s not leave out King and also co-parenting with Michael (Tyga) too, with King, so I feel like, as long as my kids are good and happy on both sides, that’s all I care about as a parent.”

Chyna continued, “My kids are really smart, and they have common sense, and they’re like the sweetest people, like little people, so they’re gonna be good, just them in general.”

She added, “I don’t ever worry when they go over to the other parent’s house, ’cause it’s like, ‘What are they doing over there?’ But I’m like, ‘Nah, my kids are good. They’re pretty smart.'”

Elsewhere in the interview, the Washington D.C. native addressed Khloé Kardashian recently claiming to be a third parent to Dream.

“You have to think, too, they’re so close, you know? Rob and Khloé. So of course, Dream’s gonna be like (that) with True, you know what I mean?” Chyna said, referring to Dream’s relationship with Khloé’s five-year-old daughter, True.

The model and Tyga, 33, began dating back in 2011 and welcomed King in October 2012. They decided to go their separate ways in 2014. Chyna was first linked to Rob in January 2016.

The pair announced their engagement three months later and welcomed Dream in November 2016. The pair split in 2017.

Pharrell Williams Shocked He Landed Louis Vuitton Gig

Pharrell Williams has recalled being appointed the men’s creative director of Louis Vuitton.

During a recent interview with GQ, the style icon admitted that he never expected to be asked to fill the role that was left vacant after iconic designer Virgil Abloh passed away in November 2021.

According to the outlet, the 50-year-old revealed that executives at the luxury fashion brand first broached the subject of the job out of the blue while he was in his studio in Miami Beach in December 2022.

“It wasn’t an interview or anything,” the “Happy” hitmaker said of his conversation with Louis Vuitton CEO Pietro Beccari. “It was like, ‘Will you accept this position? Will you accept this appointment?’ I’m looking at the water and I’m just like, ‘What?'”

Pharrell told GQ that he had been involved in conversations with the Louis Vuitton team about who might take over from Virgil and he even offered names, including Alexandre Arnault, son of Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH) founder Bernard Arnault.

The star, who has had a relationship with Louis Vuitton for almost 20 years, had expected the position to go to his longtime friend Nigo, who is the creative director of Kenzo.

“He’s my hero, he’s my brother, and he’s the general,” Pharrell said. “I’ve been championing him for a minute. And whenever me and Alexandre talk about LV, we would always just talk about different people. I’ve always been in the background, just advising. I never thought that it would be me.”

Louis Vuitton announced that the musician would be taking on the position of men’s creative director on February 14. He debuted his first collection in June during Men’s Fashion Week in Paris.
