Ice Spice Addresses Rumors Drake Dissed Her On “BackOutsideBoyz”

“She a ten tryna rap, it’s good on mute,” says Drake on “BackOutsideBoyz” off the Her Loss album. Many fans of the OVO frontman assumed that line was about up-and-coming rapper Ice Spice.

Ice Spice addressed the speculation that Drake directed the “BackOutsideBoyz” bar at her during an interview with Hot 97. According to the Bronx native, there are no hard feelings between the two rhymers.

“He didn’t. We spoke about it. He said that was not about me,” Ice Spice told the Ebro In The Morning radio show in response to the belief Drake dissed her on Her Loss.

In addition, Spice attended Drake’s recent highly-publicized concert at the Apollo Theater in her hometown of New York City. She called the experience a good vibe.

Ice Spice is one of the most-talked-about rising rap stars over the last six months. Her “Munch (Feelin’ U)” song became a viral hit. The 23-year-old Capitol recording artist dropped her debut EP, Like..?, on January 23.

Like..? is currently expected to open with 14,500 first-week units. Ice Spice’s first official project features fellow Bronx native Lil Tjay. In addition to the “Munch” track, “Bikini Bottom” also lives on the extended play.

Canadian superstar Drake partnered with Atlanta’s 21 Savage for the collaborative project Her Loss. That studio LP debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart by amassing 404,000 album-equivalent units in its first week.

Kanye Snaps: Rapper Gets Tough With Female Photographer, Now He Could Face Battery Charge

Kanye West has had many run-ins with paparazzi, and now a new incident has been added to the rapper’s ever-growing list of beef with shutterbugs.

The disgraced rapper is being investigated for Battery following an altercation with a photographer. The incident, caught on video, shows Ye accusing the woman of following him before grabbing and throwing her phone into the street.

The video shows the woman saying, “You’re a celebrity!” but cuts off abruptly as a furious Ye menacingly walks towards a second person filming the altercation.

https://youtu.be/Z-DLHpiQy-w

According to TMZ, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department was called to the scene and provided video evidence of the incident to see if Kanye should be charged with Battery.

It needs to be determined if the woman is a professional photographer or a local just taking videos of West.

Lately, Ye has expressed growing frustration with the constant attention he has received from the paparazzi after his high-profile divorce from Kim Kardashian, his controversial comments about Black and Jewish people, which led to him losing deals with Adidas, GAP, Balenciaga, and most of his $2 billion fortune.

He has a long history of altercations with the paps.

In 2009, Ye was arrested for attacking a paparazzo at Los Angeles International Airport as he was heading to Hawaii.

The rap star was charged with Battery and attempted grand theft, but the charges were later dropped, and he was sentenced to do 50 hours of community service.

In 2013, he infamously got into a physical altercation with a paparazzo outside LAX airport. Kanye later settled with the photographer out of court and had to serve 250 hours of community service.

Despite these run-ins, Kanye continues to be a popular figure in the entertainment industry and is followed closely by the media.

In general, Kanye’s relationship with the paparazzi is complicated. On the one hand, he has expressed frustration with their constant attention, but on the other hand, he is also known for seeking out publicity and media attention for his projects.

Earlier this week, Ye told a photographer that he felt like a “caged animal” and revealed he had to start taking medication because of their constant hounding.

“Do you know the first time I ever took medication, why it was? ‘Cause I got mad at paparazzi. Do you know what paparazzi it was? The same one that shot Britney [Spears]. My dad did photography for newspapers. It has to be some kind of balance, some kind of conversation. I can’t live in California in my life like I’m some type of caged animal to be judged and photographed.”

Rumor Bits: Is Megan Thee Stallion With Child? Is Future Mad At Drake? Amber Rose Gives Up On Love!

Take this for a grain of salt. The people are saying that Megan Thee Stallion might be pregnant. Obviously, this is all just rumor and talk. But, the way the internet and social media is set up, they talking. Nevertheless, you know the deal. Basically, Meg is pregnant with Pardi’s baby. That’s the rumor.

Is Future mad at Drake? NORE recently got up and started gossiping. And he got our attention with it. He polluted the streets by saying that Drake may have p##### off Future. “I heard there’s a big rumor that Future is not too happy with this Drake and 21 Savage album, and it makes Drake and Future’s album not as important, I would say,” NORE reportedly said. “This is allegedly, this is all rumors. I’ve never heard it from Future’s mouth, never heard it from Drake, never heard it from 21. But it’s an alleged big rumor that’s going on right now,.”

What do you guys thing of that?

All of this because he did a whole project with 21 Savage? I ain’t so sure Future would be so petty. Then again, you never know.

Amber Rose wants to be single forever.

It looks like the “S### Walk” era has come to an end or backfired. I am not sure which it is. At any rate, she went off on the dating scene. “I don’t want to share my house or my life with anyone. I don’t want anyone around my kids. I don’t want to have sex … No, ew. I’m fine with being by myself too. I’m very happy to not share my bed with anyone,” she said on the “Sofia With an F” podcast.

What happened to her? She was dating Alexander “AE” Edwards, who oddly enough previously dated Cher. Whatever happened to her, she has sworn off men completely. “It’s worse than ever. They’re pretty disgusting out here. They’re f**king gross. Like, I wanna be single for the rest of my life,” she said.

She has a point. LOL!

On some real stuff, this may have happened with Wiz.

Amber married Wiz Khalifa in 2013 after dating Kanye West. According to her, Wiz cheated repeatedly. She jumped over to 21 Savage in 2017 and gussied over to AE in 2018. Anyway….her wounded heart could’ve started with Wiz.

“I married my soulmate and then all of a sudden he wasn’t there anymore. Because our mothers, the internet, there was too much pressure to be married so young and we just had a baby,” she said. “I was f###ing heartbroken.”

Memphis Releases Disturbing Videos Of Cops Brutalizing Tyre Nichols

Horrific footage of Memphis police officers beating Tyre Nichols became available to the public on Friday (January 27).

Four videos revealed the violence that resulted in the death of Tyre Nichols. Cops punched, kicked, pepper sprayed and tased Nichols.

One video showed the initial attempt to arrest Nichols. He told the officers he didn’t do anything, but the cops were immediately hostile.

An officer pulled Nichols out of his vehicle and put him on the ground. Cops deployed pepper spray at one point, which led to Nichols fleeing.

Additional videos captured what happened when police eventually caught Nichols. Cops mercilessly beat him in an incident reminiscent of the police brutality against Rodney King.

Nichols can be heard screaming for his mother in the footage. One video provided clear shots of officers punching Nichols in the face.

Five officers were charged with second-degree murder for their roles in Nichols’ death. He passed away a few days after the violent arrest.

Memphis police fired Tadarrius Bean, Demetrius Haley, Emmitt Martin III, Desmond Mills Jr. and Justin Smith over Nichols’ arrest. The ex-cops face additional charges of aggravated assault-acting in concert, aggravated kidnapping, official misconduct and official oppression.

The fired officers were released on bail. They will be arraigned on February 17.

Videos of the police attacking Nichols are available here. WARNING: The footage is graphic.

Lil Tjay Released On Bail After Another Arrest; Lawyer Clarifies What Happened

Lil Tjay is out on bail after getting taken into police custody for the second time this month.

Social media reports claimed Lil Tjay was arrested on a gun charge in New York on Thursday (January 26). His attorney Dawn Florio explained why he actually ended up in jail in a statement issued to AllHipHop on Friday (January 27).

“Lil Tjay was not rearrested for another gun charge,” Florio told AllHipHop. “He was excused from appearing in court last Friday by the arraignment judge. Another judge revoked his bond and put him back in jail for missing court on Friday even though he was told by the first judge that he did not have [to] appear.”

The lawyer added, “Lil Tjay’s family posted the bail yesterday and he is free. It is so unfortunate that he had to be jailed for something that was not his fault.”

Earlier this month, police arrested Lil Tjay while he was on his way to shoot a music video with Ice Spice. He was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon on January 16.

The Columbia Records artist, whose real name is Tione Merritt, secured his release on bail. He is due back in court on February 14.

Man Arrested For Breaking Into Drake’s Beverly Hills Mansion

Police arrested a man for burglarizing Drake’s home in Beverly Hills, California on Thursday (January 26).

According to multiple reports, a security guard called the cops due to an unidentified white male’s “unauthorized entry into the property.” Police apprehended him in Drake’s neighborhood.

Officers identified the suspect after reviewing surveillance footage from a security camera. A source told TMZ he was in possession of an item presumed to be from Drake’s home when cops caught him.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed the suspect was booked for burglary. The LAPD didn’t disclose the man’s identity. Drake was not at home at the time of the break-in.

LAPD officers responded to the burglary even though the mansion is in Beverly Hills. His property falls under the jurisdiction of the LAPD’s West Los Angeles Division instead of the Beverly Hills Police Department, per the Los Angeles Times.

Drake’s Beverly Hills mansion has been targeted by intruders in the past. A man claiming to be his son was arrested for misdemeanor trespassing in July 2022.

The latest incident at Drake’s house occurred less than a week after he made his debut at the Apollo Theater. The OVO star performed two shows at the historic venue in Harlem.

Cops Accused Of Murdering Tyre Nichols Released On Bond

Five former Memphis police officers are out on bond after a grand jury indicted the fired cops for the murder of Tyre Nichols.

Tadarrius Bean, Demetrius Haley, Emmitt Martin III, Desmond Mills Jr. and Justin Smith were charged with one count of second-degree murder. Their additional charges include one count of aggravated assault-acting in concert, two counts of aggravated kidnapping, two counts of official misconduct and one count of official oppression.

Haley and Martin each posted a $350,000 bond. Bean, Mills and Smith’s bonds were set at $250,000.

All five officers, who are Black, were fired for their roles in the death of Nichols. Cops brutalized the 29-year-old Black man in a violent arrest that left him in critical condition on January 7. Nichols was hospitalized and died a few days later on January 10.

“This was wrong,” Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Director David Rausch said. “This was criminal.”

The city of Memphis will release the Nichols arrest video on Friday (January 27). His family viewed the footage earlier this week.

“This young man lost his life in a particularly disgusting manner that points to the desperate need for change and reform to ensure this violence stops occurring during low-threat procedures, like in this case, a traffic stop,” the family’s attorney Ben Crump said in a statement on Thursday (January 26). “This tragedy meets the absolute definition of a needless and unnecessary death.”

A funeral for Nichols is scheduled to be held on February 1. The cops involved in his death will be arraigned on February 17.

EXCLUSIVE: Game’s Sexual Assault Case Balloons As Priscilla Rainey Drags UMG Into $7M Fight

The Game’s sexual assault accuser, Priscilla Rainey, is now going after Universal Music Group. According to legal documents obtained by AllHipHop, Rainey—who already won a $7.1 million judgment against the rapper—is now attempting to collect the debut through Game’s label. She claims she’s only collected $383,502.39 from Game’s royalties, just 5.175 percent of what is owed. Now, she wants UMG to cough it up.

“Rainey respectfully requests that a post-judgment writ of garnishment be issued commanding Universal Music-MBG NA LLC, the Garnishee named above, to answer the writ of garnishment according to law, along with such other and further relief as this Court deems just and proper,” the docs read.

Rainey was a contestant on the short-lived VH1 reality show, She’s Got Game. In 2015, Rainey accused Game of sexually assaulting her during what she thought was a “required after hours date” while taping the show. She alleged The Game got intoxicated and forced “his hand inside her dress to rub her bare v##### and buttocks.”

A motion for a new trial was thrown out in September 2018 and Rainey then threatened to come after The Game’s royalties the following year. Rainey was successful and in 2019, a judge granted a motion brought by Rainey, allowing her to collect The Game’s music royalties until the $7.1 million post-judgment interest is paid off.

Court documents read, “Any and all rights, title, and interest of Defendant from the following companies in the form of, among other things, commission, royalties, contract receivables, deferred compensation, income, wages, payroll, salary, and accounts receivable: Sound Exchange, Inc., 733 10th Street NW, 10th Floor, Washington, D.C. 20001; and Entertainment One U.S. LP, Attn: Michael Healy, 22 Harbor Park Drive, Port Washington, NY 11050.”

The Game, however, remained defiant and vowed to not give Rainey “a dime.” While the $383,502.39 Rainey has collected is far from the total judgement, that’s still a lot of dimes.

University Of Alabama Starts Investigation After Kanye Inspired Anti-Semitic Graffiti Pops Up On Campus

Rapper Kanye West is back in the news as antisemites have used his 2022 anti-Jewish message to disrespect a whole community at the University of Alabama.

According to Alabama Public Radio, on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, someone wrote graffiti with a slogan that says #YeisRight in chalk on the campus. Not far from the remark, another supremacist-leaning comment was chalked on saying “America First.”

Now, an investigation has been launched.

Taking the lead to make sure the person behind the antisemitic act are the school’s administration and a Jewish group on the Tuscaloosa campus.

In a statement, the University wrote, “We condemn these chalkings, which violate our Capstone Creed, our campus culture, and our core values. Our expectation is that everyone be treated with civility and respect. As soon as we were notified of the chalkings we began removing them, initiated an investigation, and organized resources for those impacted and concerned. Public Safety and the Offices of Student Life and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion are fully engaged and providing related support.”

As AllHipHop.com reported, Ye has been under intense scrutiny since making statements about Jewish people that have been seen as hurtful to the community.

As a result, he has lost many endorsement deals and friends, including his lucrative deal with Adidas. Before his spiraling comments, not just the ones about the Jewish community, but also about Blacks and his business partners, Ye was worth over $6 billion. Today, he is about $400,000,000.

Atlanta Metro Deputy Accused Of Using Excessive Force On YSL Member Previously Fired From Police Force

Newly reviewed records show a deputy, who was accused of assaulting and injuring one of the defendants, Rodalius Ryan, in the YSL RICO trial during a scuffle a couple of years ago, was fired in 2020.

Fulton County Deputy Morris Kandakai, a member of the Scorpion Unit, has been placed on administrative duties pending the outcome of an internal affairs investigation over his fight with Ryan.

According to WSB-TV, back in 2020, Kandakai was disciplined by his local police department after it was determined he lied about the use of excessive force during the altercation. He also violated policy when he failed to activate his body camera during the incident with the alleged suspect.

Ryan’s attorney Angela D’Williams filed a formal complaint regarding this incident on Monday, January 23rd.

She wrote, “My client, Rodalius Ryan Jr., was a victim of an unwarranted attack by Investigator (Morris) Kandakai, of the Scorpion Unit of the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department, on January 23, 2023.”

“Although every deputy is equipped with a body camera, Investigator (Morris) Kandakai intentionally did not activate his body camera, while viciously attacking Mr. Ryan, he punched Mr. Ryan in the head,” D’Williams continued. “The officer’s attack continued, he dragged him out of the vehicle, which caused Mr. Ryan’s head to hit the concrete of the sidewalk and caused contusions to his body.”

The scuffle happened while Kandakai was getting ready to move her client from the jail to the courthouse.

“Inmate Ryan began to spit on the rear floor of my patrol vehicle while I was sitting on the front driver side,” the officer wrote in his incident report. “I then informed Inmate Ryan to stop spitting or he would have to clean up his own bodily fluids. Inmate Ryan advised, ‘I am not cleaning up [expletive],’ and continued to spit, but at this time towards my direction.”

According to Kandakai, the YSL member spat in the officer’s face.

“I walked to the rear passenger side door, opened the door and advised inmate Ryan to exit the vehicle where he ignored my order,” he wrote in the incident report.

Adding, “I then reached inside the patrol vehicle to remove Inmate Ryan where he stiffened his body and laid out in the backseat of the patrol vehicle and flailing his legs, in a kicking motion to prevent me from removing him. I was able to physically control one of his ankles during this time, and Inmate Ryan was physically extracted from the patrol vehicle and placed on the ground.”

D’Williams says her client had a “knot on his head, blood dripping from his wrist and finger and scrapes on his legs,” resulting from the officer using excessive force. Her client had to get medical care.

She is also requesting in the complaint to get the dash camera from the officer’s vehicle he used to move him. The idea is to help share more light on the incident.

Ryan is not squeaky clean.

He is currently serving a life sentence for a 2019 murder and is now on trial with other members of YSL for violating one count of Georgia’s RICO act, indicted with chart-topper Young Thug.

Drake Spent Insane Amounts Of Money To Stay At Hotel During His Apollo Concerts

Rapper Drake sure knows how to play with the rich and famous.

During the chart-topper’s most recent stay in New York City, where he rocked out to two sold-out shows at the Apollo Theater, he stayed at the Mark Hotel, a swanky spot that cost him about $75,000 per night.

Page Six reports he moved his whole party crew to his place for an ultra-private kickback.

The rental was spacious, with 10,000 sq/ft and a few fireplaces. It also had five bedrooms, six bathrooms, four fireplaces, a steam room, a dining room that fits up to 24, a full kitchen, a grand piano, and a beautiful balcony.

An insider spoke about Drake’s stay in New York.

“He pulled out all the stops with food, drink, and gifts to thank them all for their unwavering support over the years. It was extremely exclusive,” the source said.

Exclusive indeed.

The “God’s Plan” rapper also rented out the Upper East Side members club Casa Cruz for a party for his people.

AllHipHop.com reported on the concerts, including how police caught pushback after a New York Times journalist mentioned they were filming people as they exited the Harlem concert.

Our publication also shared with readers that during one of the shows, a fan fell from the balcony of the historic landmark concert house and plunged to the ground floor. Drake halted the concert to make sure the person received whatever care the individual needed.

What Are Cam’ron, Mase And Jadakiss Cooking Up?

This weekend there is going to be something crazy happening at the Apollo Theater in New York City. First of all, Mase, Cam’ron and Jadakiss are convening for an epic concert. Why is this epic? If you need to be told the answer, I am selling tickets to my Hip-Hop school. Seriously, they are all parts of several hometown movements that changed the culture – mostly for the better! Ruff Ryders, Bad Boy, Dipset and more. On top of that, all have supreme talents that can be transferred to the stage.

This happens tomorrow. Click here to get tickets, if they are still available. Anyway, we are excited, because this is a one-time event. It is about to be crazy. There are several intersections too. The Lox and Mase were on Bad Boy. Cam and Mase were in Children of the Corn with the late, great Big L. And there is more, but you get the picture. They all hit the streets and the charts.

This was supposed to be a tour, but the tour never came to fruition last year.

Mase blamed Diddy, but we never got much more than that. Nevertheless, this show has sparked several rumors. First rumor is: are these three titans in rap working on music together? I find it cool, because a few years ago, Cam and Mase were beefing. That first Cam diss “The Oracle” showed us one thing more than anything else: Mase still got it. Jada is still killing it and has the lead single from “The Godfather of Harlem” show. Will they start doing more? Only time will tell.

And then there is the legendary Apollo. Just last night the Harlem-located business hosted a show with Lil Kim and friends. I heard it was packed! The thing is, this was almost a “secret show,” according to one of my sources. The word is The Apollo has a bunch of incredible shows on deck. I hope to be more in the know about what they are cooking up. Stand by!

In the meantime, check this out! Kim brought them out! Even the “littler Kim” aka Lola Brooke!

Logic: I’m Executive Producing One Of Juicy J’s Next Albums

It appears Maryland’s Logic and Tennessee’s Juicy J are joining forces to create a new music project together.

Logic recently posted a video to his Instagram page featuring Juicy J. In the clip, the rapper born Sir Robert Bryson Hall II makes a special announcement about a forthcoming release.

“For those of you who don’t know, I, Logic, am actually executive producing one of Juicy J’s next albums,” stated Logic. “It’s the most Dilla, Hip Hop, Alchemist, gangsta, Madlib, f###### dope s### ever.”

Juicy J has not released an album since The Hustle Continues in 2020. That studio LP’s “1995” track featured Logic as a guest artist. The song’s official music video amassed 2.3 million YouTube views.

The Hustle Continues also hosted other Juicy J collaborations with 2 Chainz, A$AP Rocky, Key Glock, Lil Baby, Megan Thee Stallion, NLE Choppa, Project Pat, Wiz Khalifa, Young Dolph, and more.

Logic is preparing to drop his College Park album next month. Last year saw the arrival of his seventh studio LP, Vinyl Days, which followed 2020’s No Pressure and 2019’s Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.

Apparently, Logic and Juicy J have built a very close friendship over the years. Juicy even credited his “best friend” for establishing the Academy Award winner’s famous “shut the f### up” producer tag.

“We [were] in the studio and he was just talking. He’s like, ‘Man, what did Juicy J say? Shut the f### up,'” said Juicy J in a 2020 interview. “We [were] just being funny. And I said, ‘Hey.’ I stopped it. I told the engineer, ‘You recorded that?’ He’s like, ‘Yeah.’ I said, ‘Man, I’m using that as my producer tag because that s### is hard.'”

Lil Baby Appears With Michael B. Jordan In ‘SNL’ Promo Video

Saturday Night Live tapped Lil Baby as the latest Hip Hop star to perform on the late-night sketch comedy show. This weekend’s episode will include the It’s Only Me album creator hitting the Studio 8H stage.

Lil Baby takes on the role of SNL‘s upcoming musical guest for the January 28th edition of the program. Plus, Creed III actor/director Michael B. Jordan will handle hosting duties that night.

Michael B. Jordan, Lil Baby, and Saturday Night Live cast member Heidi Gardner appeared in a new SNL promotional video. The clip features jokes about babies, Valentine’s Day, and NBA legend Michael Jordan.

Lil Baby joins a list of rappers who have shown up on Saturday Night Live for Season 48. Previously, SNL viewers got to watch performances by Kendrick Lamar, Megan Thee Stallion, Jack Harlow, and Black Star.

Fans can likely expect to see Lil Baby run through tracks from his It’s Only Me studio LP. That body of work debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart in October 2022 with the singles “In a Minute” and “Heyy.”

Michael B. Jordan’s Creed III sports drama will hit American theaters on March 3, 2023. The motion picture represents the 35-year-old Newark, New Jersey native’s feature film directorial debut.

T.I. Says He Spoke To Southern Rap Legends Before Declaring Himself King Of The South

Back in the early 2000s, T.I. came onto the music scene by proclaiming himself the King of the South. The honorific title eventually became synonymous with the Grammy winner. He even let loose the King album in 2006.

However, an up-and-comer making such a bold declaration at the start of his career did not go over well with every southern rap fan or every southern rapper. According to T.I., DJ Drama questioned the decision at the time.

“[DJ Drama] called me in to freestyle on a mixtape,” recalled T.I. on the Club Shay Shay podcast. “I said ‘King of the South’ in the freestyle. He kind of raised his head like, ‘Whoa! What is that? What did you say?’ I said, ‘You heard what I said.'”

T.I. also added a track titled “King of da south” to his 2003 breakout sophomore album Trap Muzik. That same year, Houston’s Lil Flip took issue with the Georgian placing the crown on his own head.

The T.I. versus Lil Flip feud played out in songs and on the radio. That verbal conflict eventually led to a violent encounter in Flip’s hometown in 2005. They have since reportedly settled their beef.

While Lil Flip challenged T.I.’s reign as King of the South, apparently the Hustle Gang leader had conversations with a few of his Hip Hop predecessors before putting that claim out into the universe.

“I spoke to just about everybody that I had access to that came from the class before me,” said T.I. “I spoke to Big Boi, Andre 3K, all of Goodie Mob, I spoke to Scarface, Bun B, who passed the message to Pimp C. He was locked up at the time. 8Ball, MJG.”

The 42-year-old Trap legend continued, “I spoke to all of them and asked, ‘How do you feel about me calling myself the King of the South?’ Just out of respect. Everybody told me, ‘Gon head, man. Do what you feel.’ They knew I was cold, and they kinda seen a lot of themselves in me.”

Ice Spice Talks Origins Of “Munch” Single & Her Sexuality

Ice Spice entered the new year with a lot of momentum. Both Spotify and Vevo named the Bronx native as an up-and-coming artist to keep an eye on.

To start off 2023, Ice Spice dropped her debut EP Like..? on January 20. The project is expected to open with 14,500 equivalent-album units in its first week of release.

Like..? hosts the viral hit “Munch (Feelin’ U)” which made it onto Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Ice Spice recently spoke to Apple Music 1’s Ebro Darden about the origins of the track.

“It was January of 2022. And I was really just trying to rhyme a word with lunch, and I just said munch for the first time. I had just made that s### up in the studio. And it went crazy,” explained Spice.

She continued, “The song was really a throwaway for me. I made it and I was like, ‘Alright, let me put that away.’ I was like whatever. I wasn’t too focused on it… I played it for a bunch of people and it was just like, ‘Oh. Okay, cool.’ But then once I put the snippet up, it started picking up quick.”

Ice Spice’s conversation with Rap Life Radio on Apple Music 1 also included the 23-year-old Capitol recording artist discussing her sexuality. When Ebro Darden asked her about dating squares, Spice replied, “Not squares, but I like… good boys and girls.”

In addition, Spice hinted that her first full-length studio album will likely arrive before the end of 2023. Meanwhile, listeners can get more familiar with the former SUNY student via her Like..? EP which features fellow New Yorker Lil Tjay.

21 Savage Questions If “We’ll Ever Recover” From Loss Of Takeoff & Young Thug Rico Trial

Hip-Hop is still reeling following the murder of Takeoff and Young Thug’s incarceration, but nowhere is feeling the effects more than Atlanta, says 21 Savage, who is unsure the state will ever recover.

The “Rich Flex” hitmaker reflected on how his fellow residents are coping with the absence of Atlanta’s biggest rap stars in the aftermath of Takeoff’s shooting and Young Thug behind bars while awaiting trial in his RICO case.

“You can feel a lot of energy missing from Atlanta right now,” 21 Savage explained during a new interview with Complex. “Atlanta just ain’t the same, honestly. That s### be really driving me crazy. I feel like we took a lot of big ass losses last year. I don’t feel like we’ll ever recover from that s###, if I’m being honest.”

21 Savage says the murder of Takeoff hit “especially” hard in Atlanta with a palpable sense of loss in the air.

“Especially with Takeoff,” he continued. “I feel like we’re just in a dark place right now in Atlanta, as far as our energy. Going outside ain’t the same, clubs ain’t the same, you just feel it.

Takeoff lost his life after he was fatally shot outside a Houston bowling alley in November. He was 28 years old.

21 Savage Says Takeoff Was Irreplaceable

According to 21, the Migos rapper was irreplaceable. He urged fans to “cherish” the music he created before his death.

“I feel like certain people, when you lose them or they’re not physically able to be present, certain people just aren’t replaceable,” he responded when asked what it will take to restore the feeling in Atlanta. “There’s nothing you can do to fill that void. I really don’t think there’s nothing we can do for real, but hold on to what we have left and cherish what we have left.”

Young Thug and 13 co-defendants are currently awaiting trial in the YSL RICO case. The trial is set to begin once jury selection ends and is expected to last six to nine months.

Kanye West Sports Controversial German R#### Tee During Balenciaga Shopping Spree

Despite keeping a relatively low profile of late, Kanye West has managed to ruffle feathers while on a shopping trip earlier this week.

The G.O.O.D. Music founder was joined by his new wife, Bianca Censori, during a trip to a swanky Beverly Hills shopping Mall. He came under fire for his choice of t-shirt, which featured a coat of arms of the German R#### allegedly used by Nazis before they adopted the s####### logo.

The word “Bundeswehr” appears above the controversial logo, the name for the German federal defense forces.

Kanye West’s string of anti-Black and antisemitic comments last year, alongside his expressions of admiration for Hitler and the Nazis caused brands and partners to drop him like a hot potato. Among them is Balenciaga, who severed ties with Ye in October despite their successful collaborations.

“Balenciaga has no longer any relationship nor any plans for future projects related to this artist,” a representative for the fashion house’s parent company Kering said at the time.

Kanye West Takes New Wife Shopping At Balenciaga

However, it appears Kanye West is still a fan, taking his new wife on a shopping spree at the store, as per TMZ. Balenciaga experienced its own scandal last year after releasing a controversial ad campaign. The ads featured children holding bears wearing B###-inspired outfits. Other shots from the campaign pictured legal documents relating to child pornography laws.

However, Kanye West defended the brand following the backlash, calling for the end of “cancel culture.”

“I stand by Balenciaga and denounce all witch hunts and I cancel cancel culture,” he tweeted in December before his suspension from the platform.” Jesus is King Ending trafficking doesn’t start or end with a fashion campaign for Christ Sake.”

In November Kanye West announced, “I just bought every piece of Balenciaga that I’ve ever seen.” Ye explained he “started writing Ye24,” on all the pieces with plans to sell them “for $20 each,” as part of his presidential campaign.

Latto Says “It’s Still Giving Coke” In New Freestyle; Nicki Minaj Fans React

Latto heard fans wanted her to get back in her freestyle bag and she kindly obliged, dropping some bars over SZA’s “Smoking on My Ex Pack.”

“Heard y’all wanted Freestyle Latto back… this my fav song right now 💨💨💨💨” the “Big Energy’ hitmaker tweeted. Check out the freestyle below.

While the “Kill Bill” singer approves, writing ” OH ITS UPPPPP😍,” in the comments section of Latto’s Instagram post, some of the lyrics have Nicki Minaj fans heated.

Latto and Nicki got into a war of words in October last year, with an apparent behind-the-scenes feud spilling out onto social media.

Nicki Minaj And Latto Traded Shots In 2022

The online beefing seemingly began after the NYC native mentioned Latto’s “Big Energy” remaining in contention for rap-focused Grammys, while Nicki’s “Super Freaky Girl” single was moved to the Pop category.

Things then quickly intensified with the women firing shots at each other, sharing screenshots, and trading insults as their respective fanbases joined the fray. The pair trended for days while fans took sides and defended their fave.

A month before her clash with Latto, Nicki Minaj was trending with “its giving coke” after another online rap beef. Her “Super Freaky Girl” remix featuring a host of up-and-coming female rappers garnered a lot of attention, but not all positive.

Nicki clapped back at her haters during a Queen Radio rant and replied to several people criticizing her online. She went as far as threatening to sue a blogger who branded her a “coke head.”

Meanwhile, a lyric from Latto’s new freestyle has riled up The Barbz again, believing it’s Nicki shade. “And it’s still giving coke (And what?),” Latto raps on “Smoking on My Ex Pack.”

Latto’s “Mrs. Get Even 🤝,” tweet didn’t do anything to dissuade those who think she took a shot at Nicki.
