Dr. Dre Accused Of Terrorizing Doctor In $10M Lawsuit

Dr. Dre is staring at a $10 million lawsuit accusing him of a prolonged campaign aimed at harassing his psychiatrist.

The suit was filed by Dr. Charles J. Sophy, a psychiatrist who once acted as both a marriage counselor and mediator between the rap mogul and his ex-wife, Nicole Young, during their highly publicized divorce.

The stormy relationship between Dre and Nicole Young reached its conclusion in December 2021, after 24 years of marriage and several legal back-and-forths.

The divorce, filed by Nicole in 2020, involved accusations of abusive behavior by Dre, which he categorically denied.

Upon finalization, the couple reached a settlement awarding Nicole Young $100 million.

According to the lawsuit, Dre allegedly subjected the doctor to a barrage of threats over nearly a year, sparking alarm for his safety.

In court documents, the psychiatrist claimed Dre’s frustrations from the mediation process turned personal, leading to late-night messages filled with intimidating language, threats of violence, and homophobic slurs.

“Rather than treating the mediation process as an opportunity for healing, [Dre] decided to take his frustrations about the mediation out on Dr. Sophy,” stated Christopher Frost, the attorney representing the psychiatrist.

Frost alleges Dre’s conduct was not just retaliatory but amounted to a sustained campaign of harassment.

The lawsuit isn’t merely asking for compensatory damages.

Alongside the $10 million financial claim, Sophy is seeking a court-ordered restraining order to prevent further harassment from Dre.

The Grammy-winning rapper has remained silent on the accusations and has not issued any public comment on the lawsuit.

Timbaland, DJ Paul, Jozzy & More Weigh In On ATL Jacob’s Remarks On Importance Of Producers

ATL Jacob isn’t alone when it comes to his feelings about a producer’s place within the framework rap music. ATL Jacob and Akademiks got into it on Twitter on Tuesday (October 8) and have since traded shots back and forth across multiple social media platforms.

In the heat of the argument, the “Wait For You” producer made a bold claim about the importance of producers compared to artists. Not only that, he appeared to suggest that producers could utterly halt the creative workflow, should they one day up and decide to rally for their worth.

“N###as forget the producer just as important as the artist,” ATL Jacob wrote in the tweet in part. “What n###as gon rap on if every producer woke up and decided they deserved more points and bonuses and said no beats til they get it.”

In another tweet, ATL Jacob further defended the value of his input and stressed how hands-on he is when it comes to the music he produces.

“Aye lil bruh @Akademiks u sound dumb as hell .. n###a said ‘u can’t have an opinion cause u a producer’ what u think got me here?,” he wrote in the tweet. “I got a opinion about every song i work on.”

Timbaland quickly caught wind of the exchange and took the conversation over to Instagram, where he asked his followers to chime in.

“What’s yall thoughts I think he has a good point !! @atljacob,” Timbaland wrote in the caption of the post he shared featuring the tweet.

Using the opportunity to vent his frustrations, Three 6 Mafia legend DJ Paul chimed in with a hypothetical situation undermining producers that has unfortunately become the norm within the music industry.

“What about the rappers that get beats from producers, don’t pay them and won’t even do a feature for him…. Let me stop,” DJ Paul wrote in the comment.

Jozzy also jumped in to represent for the songwriters, who are often overlooked themselves, writing, “Mane lol yall get mo love then the songwriter .. sooooo i mean hey.”

Regardless of the smoke between Akademiks ATL Jacob, there is certainly a point to be made when considering how instrumental a producer can be when it comes to making a hit record. Take, for instance, ATL Jacob’s role in aiding Drake, Future and Tems with their chart-topping collaboration for the aforementioned “Wait For You” which he not only produced himself, but composed as well. On the flipside of that, Timbaland has been credited as both a producer and writer/composer on numerous hit songs throughout his career, contributing to the commercial success of several artists.

For example, he produced and co-wrote Justin Timberlake’s “SexyBack” in 2006, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 for seven weeks and earned a triple-platinum certification by the RIAA. He also played a major role in Nelly Furtado’s “Promiscuous” which was also released in 2006, producing and co-writing the track, which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and sold over 4 million copies in the U.S. alone. Another example is his work on Missy Elliott’s “Work It” in 2002, where Timbaland’s production and co-writing skills helped the song peak at No. 2 on the Hot 100, eventually earning platinum certification.

Lil Durk & King Von Implicated In FBG Duck’s Murder

FBG Duck’s mother Lasheena Weekly and two victims injured in the shooting that claimed his life sued Lil Durk, King Von’s estate, OTF and others on Wednesday (October 9). The 230-page lawsuit accused Lil Durk and King Von of engaging in a conspiracy to kill FBG Duck, who was murdered in 2020.

“Lil Durk and [his brother] DThang as corporate officers of OTF knew King Von placed a $100,000.00 bounty to kill FBG Duck and actively participated to have FBG Duck killed and/or to cover up the killing of FBG Duck,” the lawsuit alleged.

The lawsuit claimed Lil Durk furthered criminal activity by signing O-Block gang members. His OTF label allegedly “attempted to exert control over the drill rap music genre in Chicago through intimidation, threats and the selling of reality rap music i.e. their criminal conduct.”

Several record labels were named as defendants. The lawsuit said Alamo Records, Sony Music and Universal Music Group “salivated in the profit garnered by the depiction and eventual killing of FBG Duck.”

FBG Duck was shot and killed outside a Chicago retail store in August 2020. Six O-Block gang members were convicted for their roles in the murder. The lawsuit said they acted on Lil Durk and King Von’s orders.

“After the death of FBG Duck; Lil Durk, OTF and King Von glorified the killing of FBG Duck using social media and music streaming platforms for profit,” the lawsuit contended. “The killing of FBG Duck was used to expand the developing brand of Lil Durk, OTF and O-Block and to further the criminal enterprise of O-Block. As a result, Lil Durk, O-Block, OTF became international brands through social media and music streaming platforms and profited through podcasts, social media and music streaming. In essence, they monetized the killing of FBG Duck.”

Weekly, Davon Brinson and FBG Duck’s girlfriend Cashae Williams sought damages for wrongful death, civil conspiracy and negligence. The City of Chicago, Dolce & Gabbana and its security firms were also listed as defendants.

Ice-T Agrees With Toosii’s “Popcorn Music” Remarks That Releases Aren’t “Everlasting”

Toosii is speaking his mind about the current state of the music industry and veteran Hip-Hop legend Ice-T is in support of him using his voice to “Call It Like It Is” no Dee-1.

While speaking with Sway Calloway during his recent interview on Sway’s Universe in promotion of his ne album JADED, Toosii got real about his disappointment with today’s music. The “Favorite Song” hitmaker expressed his frustration with the dwindling shelf life of music, claiming that the industry has lost its ability to produce tracks that stand the test of time. According to Toosii, while there are still some good songs out there, none of them have that enduring magic anymore.

“I feel like all of the music that’s been coming out, man, I don’t feel like — I ain’t going to say it’s no good songs coming out, it’s just nothing that’s everlasting, no more,” Toosii confessed.

As he continued, South Coast Music Group/Capitol Records-signed rapper reminisced about an era when records would dominate playlists for years.

“We used to have records that we sing for years,” he said. “You get what I’m saying? We streamed these songs for years.”

Toosii added to his remarks by pointing out how the constant influx of new songs on streaming platforms has made it harder for tracks to stick around like they used to.

“I don’t lie, I just feel like the internet messed up a lot of s##t,” he said. “This world ain’t used to be like this. Everybody ain’t used to be so judgmental. Or if everybody was judgmental, we ain’t have the internet to be able to see all the comments, see everything that’s going on. It’s just a bunch of negative s##t going on.”

He also expressed his feelings that the internet has had one of the most negative impacts on music consumption, noting that today’s music culture is driven by algorithms and fleeting trends that dominate social media.

“So I’ve been jaded by all the music that been coming out, and I feel like that’s kind of the thing,” he said. “I feel like the world been jaded by the music that’s coming out. I feel like it’s all popcorn music. Ain’t none of it sticking.”

In a comment on the post AllHipHop shared covering Toosii’s disdain with the current state of the industry, “Colors” lyricist Ice-T commented a barrage of applause emojis and even voted in a poll in agreement with the North Carolina-bred artist. However, while it’s clear that Toosii is fed up with the negativity running rampant on the internet, he may have inadvertently contributed to issue following his recent disagreement on Twitter with Asian Doll, the girlfriend of the late Chicago rapper, King Von. In a series of posts over the weekend both Toosii and Asian Doll wrote disparaging remarks about each other after he shared a post criticizing the trend of female celebrities gaining popularity for dating rappers and or having their children.

Jailer Accused Of Taking Bribes From Family Of Young Thug’s Co-Defendant

A bribery scandal erupted with links to Young Thug’s RICO trial. A former Fulton County detention officer was arrested for allegedly accepting bribes from his co-defendant Marquavius Huey’s family and others.

Karmen Bailey was charged with four counts of violation of oath by a public officer, two counts of bribery and two counts of obtaining, procuring or giving inmates prohibited items without authorization. Bailey allegedly received more than $17,000 from family members and associates of Fulton County inmates.

“[The] accused indirectly received money from inmate Marquavius Huey by accepting $500 from Malissa Huey, which influenced her job performance,” Georgia authorities said. “Namely, Ms. Bailey failed to perform the official action of seizing contraband (e.g. substance appearing to be white pills) from inmate Huey and afforded said inmate the ability to temporarily reside within a restricted area where she assisted other inmates in the procurement of contraband.”

Huey’s mother and 18-year-old sister were arrested on bribery charges. Huey faced one charge of items prohibited for possession by inmates.

“Unfortunately, it has become all too common that we hear about allegations of corruption, bribery and violations of oath of office by some of the men and women responsible for housing and securing those individuals who are in custody within the Fulton County Jail,” Huey’s lawyer Careton Matthews told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “Our client, Mr. Huey, has been in continuous custody since December 2021; and is cloaked with the presumption of innocence as to all of these recent allegations. We plan to litigate this case in the courtroom; where all issues of proof will be zealously tested.”

Huey, Young Thug and their co-defendants are still on trial in the YSL RICO case. The trial, which began in 2023, is the longest in Georgia history. Young Thug has remained in jail since his 2022 arrest.

Diddy Ready For Showdown With Prosecutors In 2025

Sean “Diddy” Combs and his legal team want his criminal trial to begin in April or May 2025. According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, his lawyers suggested the start date to Judge Arun Subramanian on Wednesday (October 9).

“Mr. Combs continues to assert his right to a speedy trial and intends to request a trial date in April or May 2025 and as consistent with the court’s trial schedule,” Diddy’s attorneys wrote in a joint letter with prosecutors. “Mr. Combs also seeks deadlines for the filing of pretrial motions, with permission to raise certain pretrial motions in advance of any deadline. For example … Mr. Combs intends to file a motion for a hearing and other remedies related to unauthorized and prejudicial leaks of grand jury information.”

Prosecutors did not object to the proposed trial date. A pretrial conference is scheduled for Thursday (October 10).

Diddy was arrested for sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution in September. He pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Two judges denied Diddy bail. His attorneys filed an appeal on Tuesday (October 8).

“The sensationalism surrounding his arrest has distorted the bail analysis,” his lawyers argued. “Mr. Combs was not released pending trial, even though he offered to comply with restrictive conditions that would have prevented any conceivable risk of flight or danger. The district court detained Mr. Combs in a conclusory, barebones oral ruling, apparently because of unspecified concerns that he would ‘obstruct justice and intimidate witnesses.’ The government’s arguments about the risk of obstruction were based on speculation, resting mainly on untested allegations about communication with witnesses in civil cases and communication initiated by supposed witnesses not Mr. Combs.”

Diddy remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. He faces up to life in prison if convicted.

Young Dolph Murder: Plea Deal Pressure May Spark More Courtroom Bombshells

Prosecutors set a November 22 deadline for Hernandez Govan, the alleged mastermind behind Young Dolph’s 2021 murder, to take a plea deal in the case. Govan’s trial was scheduled for March 10, 2025, at a hearing in Memphis on Wednesday (October 9).

Govan did not testify against Young Dolph’s killer Justin Johnson, who was convicted of murder in September. Prosecutors never called Govan as a witness in Johnson’s trial.

Johnson’s attorney said Govan accepted a proffer agreement during the Young Dolph murder investigation. A proffer agreement allowed Govan to reveal information to authorities without fear of it being used against him.

Cornelius Smith, Johnson’s accomplice, testified in the September trial. Smith said he and Johnson killed Young Dolph to collect a $100,000 hit on the late rapper.

Yo Gotti’s brother Big Jook put the bounty on Young Dolph’s head. Govan allegedly orchestrated the murder by bringing Johnson and Smith to Big Jook.

“We knew they had a hit on Dolph’s head or whatever,” Smith testified. “Big Jook had a hit on Dolph’s head or whatnot. [Govan] had told me about it.”

Johnson was found guilty of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder and being a convicted felon in possession of a handgun. He was sentenced to life in prison.

“[The] verdict brings relief and restores my confidence in the justice system,” Young Dolph’s fiancée Mia Jaye said. “On behalf of my children, family and myself, I would like to thank law enforcement, the prosecution and everyone involved for their diligent work in presenting the facts that led to this conviction … This is just the beginning of our journey toward achieving full justice.”

Govan and Smith face first-degree murder charges. Smith’s next court date is scheduled for November 15. Johnson’s brother Jermarcus awaits sentencing after pleading guilty to accessory after the fact.

Joe Budden Responds To DDG’s Heated Rant: “He’s One Of My Sons”

Joe Budden has had a change of heart and has seen another side of DDG after previously blasting the Pontiac rapper.

Budden addressed DDG’s split from Halle Bailey on his podcast, dismissing DDG as irrelevant and implying he was a “clout chaser.”

In response, DDG dragged Budden in tweets and on his podcast, attempting to have him canceled and referencing past abuse allegations against the former rapper.

However, after days of DDG ranting, Joe Budden finally responded, addressing the topic on the latest episode of the “Joe Budden Podcast,” joking that he was engaged in a “digital war.”

“N#### telling all these high schoolers that I’m f###### gay or bisexual,” he said, referencing DDG’s podcast tirade. “I f###### went and did research and now I like you a little bit.”

Budden believes he and DDG share certain similarities as both have been influential at combining music and content creation and have faced backlash from fans of their famous ex-girlfriends.

“The same way I don’t know s### about him, he clearly don’t know s### about me,” he added. “So, do I want to come in here and use my powers for evil and f###### just end this n#### for sending all these bots my way?”

Joe Budden Says DDG Is “A Little Immature”

Budden continued, “I do want to have a little bit of mercy for him,” saying that DGG was “a little immature,” like he was himself at 27.

“I think that young man needs some support right now and who better to give it than me?” he continued. “Somebody that understands where he’s coming from. When I asked who he was … all you had to do was say he’s one of my sons. I can’t go to work and kick the back end of anybody that has climbed up the Joe Budden family tree.”

DDG is yet to respond to Joe Budden’s latest remarks. However, he posted a photo of his son with Halle Bailey. “stop being mean to my dada – halo,” he wrote.

Ray J admitted, “Diddy was my friend,” before questioning, “What do you do when you never seen all this s### that people are talking about? Do you believe it? Everybody’s innocent until proven guilty?”

After Ray J claimed he “created a road map” to “try to stop this from happening for our future industry,” the show went left.

“Do you forgive somebody for taking somebody’s ass?” he asked as an image of Diddy appeared on screen. “There’s a lot of people out here taking from people. It remains to be seen if the G-Unit leader’s prediction will come true. However, Diddy is making a third attempt at bail.

While Nicki Minaj didn’t mention Safaree by name, it was clear who she was referring to.

“When you’re at peace and when you’re happy, so many things will start coming, you know to try to steal your joy and to steal your peace you know,” she began. “Please don’t let it.”

She continued warning that the Barbz have been winning all year and should be left alone. “Y’all karma is about to be bad if you’ve been disrespecting Nikki and the Barbz,” Minaj added. “However, it’s going to get even worse, so please leave us alone. When people aren’t happy, they go out of their way, you see. Literally and figuratively they go out of their way, where someone who’s minding their business being at peace…”

Seemingly referring to Safaree’s antics at the show – he recorded a vlog and other content – Nicki Minaj went on.

“Everyone knows how to go to watch anything and be incognito,” she said. “I’m a f###### superstar. If I want to go to a concert and be completely incognito, I would know how to do it. I ain’t filming myself and all that s###, doing f###### TikTok’s. Like what the f###.”

She then appeared to urge the Barbz to take action while threatening an extended hiatus.

“If y’all don’t get their a#### together, that hiatus is going to be a lot more next level than you could have ever planned,” Minaj warned. “I have the power to end PR stunts with reverse psychology. If you know you know.”

She then instructed the Barbz, “Make sure you unfollow, block, report. Do everything you got to do.”

Check out the video below. Nicki Minaj speaks on Safaree around the 8:20 minute mark.

Safaree, meanwhile, was still reminiscing about singing along to Nicki Minaj at the concert.

“was by the bar at the concert when Roman’s revenge came on,” he tweeted. “I dropped my drink screamed and ran back inside screaming my lungs out.”

JAY-Z & Beyoncé Shut Down Jaguar Wright Rumors, Piers Morgan Forced To Apologize On-Air

JAY-Z and Beyoncé refused to let baseless rumors go unchecked, reaching out to Piers Morgan via their attorney after singer Jaguar Wright made wild allegations about the couple on the British broadcaster’s show.

During her recent appearance on Morgan’s show Uncensored, Wright likened JAY-Z to Sean “Diddy” Combs, calling him a “monster” and claiming Hov and Beyoncé have hundreds of victims.

However, Morgan issued a very public on-air apology after JAY-Z and Beyoncé reached out via their attorney.

“The reality of the modern world is that pretty much everyone has a platform as long as they have something to say that other people want to hear,” Morgan stated. “That’s why we invited her on to be interviewed. The people making these claims have an audience with or without shows like mine.”

He claimed “Jaguar Wright unexpectedly made several serious allegations about JAY-Z and Beyoncé during that interview” and acknowledged “they were not present to respond or defend themselves.”

He continued, “But now they have,” before formally apologizing.

“Their lawyers contacted us to say that those claims were totally false and have no basis in fact,” Morgan added. “And we’ve therefore complied with the legal request to cut them from the original interview. Editing interviews is not something we do lightly on a show called Uncensored. But, like the proverbial cries of fire in a crowded theater, there are legal limits on us, too. And we apologize to JAY-Z and Beyoncé.”

While JAY-Z and Beyoncé have remained characteristically silent about Piers Morgan’s interview, Meek Mill had something to say.

“F### is going on a silent war,” he tweeted, reposting Morgan’s apology.

“[Jaguar] wright is like quilly speaking for Philly,” he added. “And why do these people have more of a voice then the thoroughbred people!”

Diddy Used Oil & Knife To Assault Victim Lawyer Says

Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing another accusation of staging a brutal and disturbing attack that allegedly took place within his own home.

The chilling details have come to light through legal action representing a woman who claims to have been assaulted by Combs, his bodyguard, and another individual.

According to the woman’s attorney, Ariel Mitchell-Kidd, the accusations include terrifying allegations indicating Combs wielded a knife and poured an unknown oily substance over the victim, leaving her defenseless during a sexual assault.

The woman’s attorney, who spoke directly to NewsNation in an interview, revealed the disturbing sequence of events that led to the attack.

“[My client] was raped by Mr. Combs, his bodyguard, and another man,” the lawyer said, explaining that the group had allegedly manipulated the victim into visiting Combs’ residence, where she endured the harrowing assault.

“They invited her to Combs’ home and orchestrated this entire situation. The upcoming lawsuit outlines her traumatic flight to safety after that horrific night,” Mitchell-Kidd revealed.

The lawyer went into detail, describing how the woman was incapacitated after Combs allegedly doused her with an oil-like substance during the attack.

“She initially thought it was acid,” the lawyer said.

But later, the woman suspected that the liquid was, in fact, a type of lubricant – possibly laced with a drug.

The lawyer added that the woman’s physical reaction strongly suggested she had been drugged at some point during the attack.

“Her body went limp, and she couldn’t understand why. Earlier in the evening, she drank some water that tasted off. She believes the oil used during the assault might have contained a drug that rendered her unable to resist.”

There are, reportedly, more disturbing details yet to be fully revealed.

Among them is a troubling connection between this case and a broader investigation into Combs’ alleged behavior.

In March 2024, authorities conducted raids on his Los Angeles and Miami homes, where they seized over 1,000 bottles of baby oil.

While the victim did not directly identify the oil used in her attack as baby oil, the lawyer noted that Combs “covered her in it” before the assault began.

The seized bottles are believed to be tied to what has been described as “Freak Off” parties that Combs allegedly organized.

According to investigators, these events involved various forms of coerced sexual activities in which drugs were allegedly present, including substances possibly administered through topical means.

“Certain oils can be used to apply drugs like GHB directly through the skin,” the lawyer explained, referencing her client’s sudden physical collapse. “The full extent of what happened that night will absolutely shock anyone who reads the complete legal complaint.”

Although additional allegations are stacking up around Combs, with up to 120 rumored lawsuits involving a variety of charges, the lawyer refrained from confirming whether similar claims about drugs or oils are present in other cases.

Amid the growing murmur of legal battles looming over the Hip-Hop mogul, he is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday, facing sex trafficking and racketeering charges.

These charges, according to prosecutors, include organizing the “Freak Off” parties, transporting victims across state lines, coercing participants into sexual acts, and filming these encounters without consent.

Combs remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, awaiting his court date and this rapidly evolving string of legal consequences.

The seriousness of the allegations against a figure as prominent as Combs has yet to elicit a formal reply from his representatives, even as the lawsuit is expected to land in court within days.

As more information becomes available, a closer look at Combs’ alleged assaults and the subsequent events may force considerable reflection, not only on the dangerous power dynamics at play but also on the broader issues within the world of celebrity abuse claims.

Diddy Takes Third Shot At Freedom With Plea To Appeals Court

Sean “Diddy” Combs is not giving up without a fight.

Once again, the music mogul’s lawyers are trying to spring him from the Metropolitan Detention Center with a new argument before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Diddy and his legal team seeking to overturn a decision that has kept him locked behind bars since September 17 on charges sex trafficking charges in a sweeping RICO case.

With his legal team pressing for his immediate release on bail, Diddy is determined to prove that he is neither a flight risk nor a danger to the public, as his accusers would have the courts believe.

The appeal, filed on Tuesday (October 8), is a response to the district court’s controversial decision to deny Combs pretrial release following his September arrest.

The charges against him are staggering: racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and interstate prostitution.

Prosecutors say Diddy orchestrated a string of kinky “freak-off” parties where women were trafficked for sex.

However, Combs’ defense team, led by attorney Alexandra A.E. Shapiro, argued that the government’s case was riddled with conjecture and failed to account for the facts.

From the beginning of the investigation, Diddy has been proactive in cooperating with authorities.

As early as March 2024, his legal team contacted federal prosecutors to engage in discussions.

They informed the government of Combs’ willingness to comply with any legal requests, surrendering his passport, selling his private plane, and even providing the government with his travel itineraries months before he was ever charged.

Shapiro emphasized Diddy’s commitment to the legal process.

“Mr. Combs took extraordinary steps to demonstrate that he intended to face and contest the charges, not flee,” Shapiro noted.

She also said that Diddy had been upfront with law enforcement from the start.

“He is a 54-year-old father of seven, a U.S. citizen, an extraordinarily successful artist, businessman, and philanthropist, and one of the most recognizable people on earth,” she wrote. “He poses no conceivable risk of flight.”

Despite Diddy’s efforts, the government moved to detain him, thanks to a video from 2016 in which Diddy beat down his ex-girlfriend Cassie in a fit of rage.

Prosecutors used this video, along with allegations of witness tampering in civil cases, to argue that Diddy posed a threat to the community and could obstruct justice if released.

Shapiro, however, argued that the government’s claims, explaining that the domestic violence incident was nearly a decade old and unrelated to the current charges.

Furthermore, she stressed that the defense had already debunked the government’s accusations of obstruction.

“The violence depicted in the March 5, 2016 video was entirely separate, stemming from jealousy and infidelity over eight years ago,” Shapiro argued, pointing out that Diddy and Cassie had since moved on, with both having completed rehabilitation programs.

Diddy’s defense team further slammed the notion that he was a risk to witnesses, pointing to the extensive bail package they had proposed.

The package included a $50 million bond secured by his $48 million mansion, GPS monitoring, home detention and a complete restriction on contact with witnesses.

Additionally, they offered to implement round-the-clock monitoring by a private security firm, staffed by former federal agents and a prohibition on using phones or the internet.

“We’ll do whatever needs to be done,” Shapiro argued. “We can have any protocol that your Honor sees fit.”

Diddy’s legal team also criticized the court for failing to weigh the required statutory factors under the Bail Reform Act, including the nature of the charges, the weight of the evidence, and Diddy’s personal history.

In their view, the court allowed sensationalism and untested allegations to overshadow the facts, resulting in an unjust decision to detain him.

A judge has yet to rule.

Diddy Accuser Caught Up In $3 Million Bribe Scandal

Famed attorney Gloria Allred defended her client Thalia Graves after bribe allegations surfaced against the Diddy accuser. Graves was accused of offering $3 million to her ex-boyfriend to corroborate her lawsuit’s claims.

“It is very common that rich powerful men and their supporters attempt to discredit, shame and humiliate accusers who have the courage to come forward,” Allred told TMZ. “The complaint speaks for itself. Our client is looking forward to her day in court.”

Graves sued Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, and his former bodyguard Joe Sherman in September. The lawsuit claimed the two men raped her in 2001.

“Plaintiff was twenty-five at the time and dating one of Combs’ employees, a relationship that Combs exploited to lure plaintiff into meeting him and Sherman alone,” Graves’ lawyers wrote. “Once they successfully sequestered plaintiff, Combs and Sherman gave plaintiff a drink, likely laced with a drug that eventually caused her briefly to lose consciousness. She awoke to find herself bound and restrained. Combs and Sherman proceeded to brutally sexually abuse and violate plaintiff. Combs mercilessly raped her, anally and vaginally. Sherman forcefully slammed plaintiff onto a table, slapped her and repeatedly thrust his penis into her mouth. Both men were undeterred by plaintiff’s cries for help throughout the attack.”

Graves said she learned Diddy and Sherman recorded her rape in November 2023. They allegedly showed the video to multiple men.

“Plaintiff could not believe that defendants would record themselves committing such a gruesome crime and then proceed proudly and widely to disseminate the recording of it,” Graves’ lawsuit noted. “She was distraught and sunk into a deep depression. She again considered ending her life.”

Sherman denied raping Graves.

“It’s a lie on me,” he told NBC New York. “I don’t know this lady from anywhere.”

Diddy was arrested for sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution in September. He remains in jail.
