Dolph Lundgren Attempts To Cool Down Hot-Headed Sylvester Stallone Over “Rocky” Spinoff

Dolph Lundgren has responded to Sylvester Stallone’s claims he is set to appear in a potential “Rocky” spinoff movie.

Over the weekend, Sylvester Stallone took to Instagram to slam Rocky producer Irwin Winkler for allegedly developing a new project about Lundgren’s character, Ivan Drago, without his knowledge.

Shortly after, the Swedish actor issued a statement on social media in which he insisted that the film had not been confirmed and that he had been in touch with Sylvester Stallone.

“Just to set the record straight regarding a possible Drago spinoff,” he wrote. “There’s no approved script, no deals in place, no director and I was personally under the impression that my friend Sly Stallone was involved as a producer or even as an actor. There was a press leak last week which was unfortunate. In touch with Mr Balboa – just so all the fans can relax…There ya go.”

Stallone launched the boxing franchise with 1976’s “Rocky,” which he wrote and starred in. The franchise has since spawned five sequels and the “Creed” spinoff series, though the 76-year-old sold his rights to the “Rocky” screenplay to producers Winkler and the late Robert Chartoff, so he has no ownership stake in the film series.

In his post over the weekend, Stallone also blasted Lundgren over the spinoff news, writing, “By the way, I once had nothing but respect for Dolph but he NEVER told me about what was going on behind my back with the character I created for him !!! REAL FRIENDS Are more precious than gold.”

Sylvester Stallone has not yet replied to Lundgren’s statement.

Mase Pulls Out A File On Fivio Foreign Proving He Got Him $750K, Not Just The $5K He Originally Said

With all the talk about preachers ganking people out of their money, Pastor Ma$e wants to ensure his name is not in the mix.

After Fivio Foreign said on Wallo and Gillie Da King’s “Million Dollaz Worth of Game” podcast that the Harlem rapper signed him for only $5,000, Ma$e went on the show to set the record straight.

He didn’t deny that Fivio Foreign received that amount but blamed the artist’s original manager as the swindler. The former Bad Boy artist, who jokingly referred to himself as Diddy 2.0, said he also got him a bag for almost three-quarters of a mil.

Ma$e said, “At one time, I gave him $5,000, but I gave him $750,000… because I set him up to do a deal to where I can control the deal, make the deal what it should be because I knew if he had the leverage, he would go in there and sell both of us out. He wasn’t able to do that because of the way I structured the deal.”

“Then, when we went in the building, I took $800,000 and he took $700,000. The reason why it went down to $700,000 is that when I gave him $750,000 and I took $750,000, he owed me $50,000,” he continued. “[He owed me $50,000] for all the money I was spending before he got the deal.”

Ma$e breaks out a file, sharing that when he first met Fivio, he was not just meeting the artist. He said he was going to sign another artist, Jay Dee.

Jay Dee suggested Ma$e also sign his friends Fivio and Dee Sav.

“I gave $15,000 to a cop. It was a cop managing them,” Ma$e said. “I didn’t want to say this but since he’s talking reckless, let’s put it really out there…the cop took the money and never gave it to them.”

Ma$e said there were multiple problems around the Fivio deal, including them not keeping their word, missing shows, and members getting locked up. But he stuck with them.

So … how did the $750,000 come to pass?

It came from the deal Ma$e negotiated when he signed with Columbia. Ma$e says he also did not take any publishing or merchandise percentages based on anything Fivio puts out.

Ma$e’s file included videos of Fivio Foreign talking, contracts, phone calls from other executives, and more.

Kanye West Orders God To Step In Over Yeezy Day Feud With Adidas

Adidas launched its Yeezy Day sale on Tuesday (August 2), but Kanye West wasn’t celebrating the sneaker holiday.

Kanye blasted Adidas in a direct message sent to Complex on Instagram. He claimed the company never sought his approval for the sale and other business decisions involving his Yeezy brand.

“Adidas made up the Yeezy day idea without my approval then went and brought back older styles without my approval,” he wrote. “[Adidas] picked colors and named them without my approval went and hired people that worked for me without my approval stole my colorways without my approval stole my styles and material approaches without my approval went and hired a gm of Yeezy without my approval took talent on the production side and sprinkled them throughout adidas originals without my approval.”

Kanye’s unpunctuated tirade also accused Adidas of trying to hinder his collaboration with Gap.

“Even though they did a Balenciaga collaboration they completely slowed down production on the shoes me and Demna developed for Gap by trying to bully Gap even though my contract states I can do casual shoes which I was doing when I did fashion shows,” he wrote. “When I originally ordered adidas to make more Yeezy slides the GM lied to my face and said they didn’t have the capacity meanwhile adidas was copying my slides and making their own version of the Yeezy slide Yeezy is 68% of adidas on line sales God step in.”

Kanye’s latest rant comes less than two months after he called out Adidas in a since-deleted Instagram post. He wanted to speak with the company’s CEO Kasper Rørsted because ‘Ye believed Adidas copied a Yeezy design for another line of slides.

Blueface Offers Chrisean $100K To Leave Him; Says She Slept With A Correctional Officer

The saga of Blueface and Chrisean continues! These two have got to be the most toxic people in all of life. The saga continues. People on social media have been giving their two cents to these two, basically telling them to in their relationship. It is Chris and Rihanna on steroids and fentanyl! I simply cannot believe being an anything this terrible.

Rapper Blueface And Chrisean Rock Brawl With Each Other On Hollywood Street

At any rate, they got into a tussle of some sort that played it self out on social media. Chrisean denied he hit her, but people are saying there was a physical interaction. And now the latest is that he went through her phone and discovered that she had cheated on him after a brief stay in jail. A correctional officer knocked the boots, according to blue face. He is Blueface telling the truth? Or is there a psychosis playing out here?

It is very difficult for me to tell, but I can see that it is definitely a terrible situation. Time and time again, these types of situations play out until someone is killed or severely hurt.

On top of that, she calls her out of her name in a way that really denotes disrespect. And refers to her own kids as well. Somehow or another I just feel that this is toxicity at levels we haven’t really seen from artists. Hopefully they get it together and go their separate ways. By the way, Chrisean says that this is all lies. He even offered her $100,000 just to walk away! Sounds like a great deal to me.

By the way, Chrisean has had a tremendous amount of trauma in her life.

Peep this.

Mystikal Allegedly Raped Woman Over $100 Dispute

The details of rapper Mystikal’s rape situation are starting to take shape. And sadly, the details are worse than the headlines. As you already know, mystical, real name Michael Taylor, it was arrested and booked at the Ascension Parish Jail. This is a result of a rape claim levied against him by his ex girlfriend. Now, we know that in the past this rapper, known for scores of hit songs, has had other incidents alleged of sexual assault and rape. But, the details of those situations were murky at best. So, he managed to beat a rape charge just last year. He even swore off groupies! It took a long time, but it was dismissed. Now, a year later or so he is under fire again.

Mystikal’s mug shot

However this time it is even worse! According to reports, Mystikal raped his girlfriend over $100. How true is this? I’m not quite sure but it does seem to be enough to have him denied bond and stay in prison. Also, we know that there’s more to these types of stories in the mere money. He’s got another type of problem. But the details say that she stole $100 from him and then he went off. The rapper began to act erratic and violent after beating her and yanking her braids out, according to the reports. Then they reportedly prayed together.

However, they must have been praying for different things. Because the woman went to the cops after that. And Mystikal was subsequently charged with first-degree rape, simple battery, felony domestic abuse and battery by strangulation! By the way, he is actually a registered sex offender because he was convicted in 2003. I did not know that!

This is really crazy. He reportedly made her pay him $150 back after he forced her to give him her phone. And then he allowed her to leave the house. When she left the house, she went to the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office and her bruises and cuts along with her damaged clothing, was enough. She told the cops he even picked up a pair of scissors and threatened her. She said he spit in her face and threw rubbing alcohol on her because she needed to cleanse the bad spirits from her. This is pretty crazy! Maybe HE was possessed?

We should have listened when he said…

A formal hearing is on the way, but for now this rapper will be in jail.

The Dream Schools Diane Warren After Her Senseless Attempt To Question Beyoncé

The-Dream has called out Diane Warren after she appeared to criticize Beyoncé for crediting multiple writers on each of her new songs.

On Monday, the prolific songwriter took to Twitter and asked followers, “How can there be 24 writers on a song? That’s 23 more than are on mine.”

Many people considered the comment to reference the credits on Beyoncé’s seventh studio album Renaissance, particularly the 24 credited songwriters on “Alien Superstar.”

In response, The-Dream explained that the number of credits was due to the samples used in the music.

“You mean how’s does our (Black) culture have so many writers, well it started because we couldn’t afford certain things starting out, so we started sampling and it became an Artform, a major part of the Black Culture (hip hop) in America,” he wrote in the comments section. “Had that era not happen who knows. U good? Btw I know it’s not a one on one writing contest you looking for from no one over here…… you don’t want that smoke And you know I love you, but come on. Stop acting like your records haven’t been sampled.

The-Dream is credited as a writer on a number of Renaissance tracks, including “I’m That Girl,” “Cozy,” and “Break My Soul,” under his real name Terius Nash.

Later, Warren insisted that she hadn’t meant any “disrespect” by her comments.

“I didn’t mean that as an attack or as disrespect. I didn’t know this, thank U for making me aware of it. No need to be mean about it,” Diane Warren replied to The-Dream.

And in a separate post, Warren issued an apology to Beyoncé.
“Ok, I meant no disrespect to @beyonce, who I’ve worked with and admire. I’m sorry for the misunderstanding,” she added.

Amber Heard Could Have Taken Half Of Johnny Depp’s Money From “Pirates Of The Caribbean,” But She Passed On The Offer

Amber Heard walked away from a bigger divorce payout from Johnny Depp, unsealed court documents have revealed.

The Hollywood pair’s marriage broke down in 2016, 15 months after they tied the knot.

The split has become increasingly ugly in the ensuing years, with Johnny, 59, and 36-year-old Amber fighting it out in court over a 2018 Washington Post op-ed she wrote calling herself “a public figure representing domestic abuse” in the wake of the divorce.

In June, a jury found in Johnny’s favor in their defamation trial, and Amber was ordered to pay her former spouse more than $10 million.

A mass of court documents relating to the case has been unsealed, and the revelation that Amber declined to go after a bigger divorce payout is among the new information available.

Her legal team advised that she could be paid half of the $33 million Johnny received for the fourth installment of “Pirates of the Caribbean” because they were still married.

Going against their guidance, she wrote she was being “amazingly true to (her) word, that this is not about the money” in an email sent to her lawyers. They ultimately reached a settlement of $7 million.

A judge refused to let that evidence be admitted during the 2022 trial.

At its conclusion, the jury also found the “Edward Scissorhands” actor liable for defaming Amber with one statement made by his former lawyer, and she was awarded $2 million.

Amber subsequently filed an appeal and insisted she doesn’t have the funds to cover the defamation settlement. The “Aquaman” actress recently sold her Californian home, TMZ reports.

Grandmaster Caz Reveals The Secrets Of Old School Hip-Hop

Talking to pioneers is one thing, but talking to Grandmaster Caz is another. The Bronx native has been immersed in culture of Hip-Hop almost since it started. DJ Casanova Fly, as he was once known, has blazed trails that people walk on to this day. He was in the first Hip-Hop movie, “Wild Style,” putting him next to director Charlie Ahearn, Lee Quiñones, Lady Pink, Fab 5 Freddy and many more. Before that, he was boldly ripped off by Sugar Hill Gang’s Big Bank Hank, who unwittingly made Caz Hip-Hop’s first ghostwriter. This also made Caz party to 1979’s “Rapper’s Delight,” the first Hip-Hop song to go pop.

Since then, Caz has managed to stay relevant and maintain a stature as elder statesman of respect though a myriad of ways like LL Cool J’s Rock The Bell’s platform. Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur and DJ Thoro join forces for this special edition of the AllHipHop Podcast. They talk to the legend about his life and times, the tough period after Run DMC hit and also how he came up as a force in Hip-Hop. He also discusses the game-changing moment when Macklemore and Lewis’s first single changed his life with “Downtown,” a platinum hit starring Caz, Melle Mel and Kool Mo Dee.

Rapper Blueface And Chrisean Rock Brawl With Each Other On Hollywood Street

Rapper Blueface and his girlfriend Chrisean Rock were captured fighting on video.

The “Thotiana” chart-topper repeatedly tried to distance himself, but his “lady” continued to follow him, swinging at him as they walked down a Hollywood street.

TMZ said the fight occurred early Tuesday morning (August 2nd).

Chrisean Rock appears to be the aggressor, punching and pushing the rapper. Video shows that at one point, she grabs his shirt before smacking him across the face.

At this time, the artist returns a punch, not only knocking her in the head but to the ground and snatching the chain on her neck. This does not deter her.

Chrisean Rock pops back up and grabs hold of his shirt again, and drags it until the two are around the corner. Once there, he bangs her against the wall and punches her multiple times in the head and body.

Local law enforcement was called to stop the couple’s all-out brawl. However, by the time they arrived, the two were gone.

This is not the first time Blueface has been associated with fighting (or beating on) a woman.

AllHipHop.com reported on rumors from earlier this year that centered around him beating up his mother and his sister, Karlissa and Kali.

Kali said, “Got jumped y 7 dudes including my brother then Rock ran up after the gang member jumped me and my husband. As you can see I peed on myself, I ain’t never fought 7 n###as before. All I could do was p### on myself. One thing about it, I don’t play a bout my mama. I’d do it all over again. Saddest part is his manager paying everybody at the party to post Rock dragging me after getting jumped by several n###as, including my brother.”

“BLUEFACE aka Johnny boy is a b##ch. He let Rock whoop on his mama then stomp his sister out w his homies. What go around come around, no threats I pulled up and handled my s##t fa my mom. What type of daughter would I be to see my mother w a black eye, blood dripping on her face, then these n***as wanna have a party the next day. I’d be damn.”

“My husband dead a## tried to fight 7 men and couldn’t help his wife c## they didn’t give af ran through his pockets and car. We got jumped and robbed at my blood brother’s house and you let [that] b##ch jump on your mom like wtf is gangsta about it. All the women at that party that watch my bro and his friend jump me and my husband, and wouldn’t call 9-1-1 for him while he was bleeding on the flooorr babbbbbby when I tell you God don’t miss not address you will feel this day and when yo do I pray you remember what you didn’t do.”

Blueface denied this, saying it was Chrisean Rock who beat them down, blacking both of their eyes.

Lizzo’s “About Damn Time” Remains At No. 1 For A Second Week

“About Damn Time” is the #1 song in America for a second straight week. Lizzo’s latest hit held onto the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The Special single by Lizzo collected another 12.5 million streams over the most recent Hot 100 tracking period. “About Damn Time” also leads the Radio Songs, Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and Hot R&B Songs charts.

“WE DID IT AGAIN,” tweeted Lizzo on Monday afternoon with dozens of party poppers, confetti, and bottles with popping cork emojis. The singer’s post amassed more than 17,000 likes on the social media platform.

“About Damn Time” made it to #1 on the Hot 100 chart last week. The Blake Slatkin and Ricky Reed-produced track became Lizzo’s second Number One on that Billboard ranking.

Previously, Lizzo reached the pinnacle of the Hot 100 in 2019 with “Truth Hurts.” That Cuz I Love You single held onto the #1 position for seven weeks and stayed on the chart for 42 weeks.

Beyoncé’s “Break My Soul” is competing for #1 on next week’s Hot 100. The Dance/House song rose to a new peak of #6 this week. If “Break My Soul” is able to take over the highest rank, Beyoncé would score her eighth Number One as a soloist.

Polo G On His 2022: I Let My Fans Down

Polo G has three Platinum-certified albums in his catalog. Despite that commercial success over the last three years, the Chicago-raised rapper is down on his musical output for 2022.

Earlier this week, Polo G hopped on his Twitter account to share thoughts about his year so far. The 23-year-old performer promised to return with high-quality songs in the near future.

“Music wise I was posed to b turnt this year, especially the summer… I feel like I let my fans down [by] being inconsistent… This s### b so weak,” tweeted Polo G.

He also added, “On top of [that], I [got] real crack like I been gettin back in my bag and I been so eager [for] y’all to hear dis s###… I promise u though [for] all the [people] who truly [f### with me] and been rockin [with] me, [I will] make this s### up to y’all I promise💯💯💯.”

Polo G released the Die a Legend album in 2019. The Recording Industry Association of America certified that studio LP as Platinum. Plus, the Columbia recording artist earned a 2x-Platinum plaque for 2020’s The Goat.

Hall of Fame arrived last year before reaching Platinum status in January 2022. Polo G’s third official studio LP became his first album to reach #1 on the Billboard 200 weekly chart.

The 4x-Platinum “Rapstar” single lives on Hall of Fame. That track is the first Hot 100 chart-topper in Polo G’s career. He recently scored another Top 40 entry when “Distraction” peaked at #39 in June.

A music video for “Distraction” landed on YouTube in June as well. The Christian Breslauer-directed visuals have amassed over 15 million views on the platform. “Distraction” has around 32 million streams on Spotify.

Diane Warren Addresses Rumored “Shade” Directed At Beyoncé

Prolific songwriter Diane Warren found herself in the crosshairs of Beyoncé’s devoted followers. An eight-word tweet caused the Bey Hive to swarm on social media.

“How can there be 24 writers on a song?🙄,” tweeted Diane Warren on Monday morning. As of press time, that tweet has collected over 5,000 retweets and 12,000 likes.

Many Beyoncé fans took Diane Warren’s take as a diss towards the Renaissance album creator. Bey’s “Alien Superstar” track apparently has 24 credited writers.

Warren returned to Twitter to add, “Ok, it’s [probably] samples that add up the [amount] of writers.” According to the WhoSampled website, “Alien Superstar” contains samples from Right Said Fred, Foremost Poets, and Danube Dance.

That was not the end of Diane Warren sharing her thoughts on the matter. The backlash from the Bey Hive seemed to have led the 65-year-old musician to also tweet, “This isn’t meant as shade, I’m just curious.”

Renaissance dropped on July 29 via Columbia Records and Parkwood Entertainment. Beyoncé’s seventh studio LP will be the first installment of a three-act project. The album features Beam, Grace Jones, and Tems.

Industry forecasters predict Renaissance to land at #1 on next week’s Billboard 200 chart. At the moment, Beyoncé is looking to rack up 275,000-315,000 first-week units for her latest body of work. She would become the first female act to debut at #1 in 2022.

Diane Warren has worked with high-profile acts such as Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Monica, Brandy, and TLC. Aerosmith’s classic “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” was written by Warren as well.

Stefflon Don Promises Even More Versatility On Upcoming Album: “How Hard Can I Really Go?”

Stefflon Don has been racking up the accolades since launching her career with her 2016 mixtape Real Ting, rising to one of the most successful artists the U.K. has ever produced.

This weekend, the “Hurtin’ Me” hitmaker made history, performing at the first-ever UEFA Women’s Euro final show on Sunday (Jul. 31). She rocked the stage as the “Lionesses” of the English team won their first-ever major women’s soccer championship.

Stefflon Don On Her Debut Album

While discussing the impact on young girls of the growth in women’s soccer, Stefflon Don also let slip a few details about her highly anticipated debut album, Island 54, due later this month.

“This is gonna be my first album,” Stefflon Don explained to Hunger magazine. “All the other stuff that I made like Secure and Real Ting, were just mixtapes. So, with this project, I’m taking it a lot more seriously.”

The MOBO award winner revealed that she drew inspiration from her family and friends throughout the two years she’s been working on the project.

“I just spent more time on it and thought, what do I really love?” she continued. And what do my family and friends really love the most? We’ve been working on this for a good two years so I can’t wait to let it out to the world. It’s just a vibe.”

She also discussed how her Jamaican roots helped her to become one of the few U.K. artists to break into the U.S. market.

“Jamaican music travels very far outside of the UK,” Stefflon Don explained. “I feel like with the UK sound before it was very niche unless you’re a fan of grime but the sound has changed a lot since then. When I go to different countries, I now hear a lot of UK rappers, more than I used to before, I think it’s a good time. I think TikTok has had a big part to play in that.”

Back in June, Stefflon Don revealed that she explores a more vulnerable side of herself in her upcoming project.

“You know I can rap, you know I can sing, but how hard can I really go?” she teased. “It’s definitely showing even more versatility and making you know who I am from a vulnerability standpoint.”

They dropped a bomb on the battle rap community last month when they announced their headline battle; Dizaster vs. Geechi Gotti. The clash sees two legends from different generations go head-to-head in a fiery match-up in what is anticipated to be a highly debatable battle of wordsmiths.

After revealing the battlers featuring on the Ouroborus card but not the matchups themselves, they finally unveiled the card. Check it out below.

2 Chainz & Killer Mike Speak Out Against “Nuisance” Ordinance At Atlanta City Council Meeting

2 Chainz and Killer Mike have spoken up for their city during an Atlanta City Council meeting on Monday (Aug. 1).

The ATL rappers asked members to reject a proposed ordinance that aims to reduce violence in and around businesses in the city. However, they claim the proposal will unfairly impact nightclubs and small Black-owned businesses.

“I’m Tauheed Epps, but my professional name is 2 Chainz,” the “Million Dollars Worth of Game” hitmaker began. “I actually own a couple businesses in the city, Escobar and Escobar Seafood. I’m very blessed and I also like to be a blessing to others, and that’s what my businesses have allowed me to do. I brought up a real dear friend to me, Michael Render,” he added, introducing Killer Mike. “I would like to yield it to him so he can really talk about the bigger picture here.”

The Run The Jewels rapper then noted, “as Atlanta grows, corporations are going to be coming into here,” and “somebody is gonna have a nightlife.” He continued and explained that can be “the owners of Hard Rock [Cafe] or the owners of H###### or the owners of a W Hotel, or it’s gonna be the little people that went to Frederick Douglas…and Southwest DeKalb, and schools like that.”

Killer Mike then warned the ordinance “will wipe out” opportunities for local business owners to thrive. He added, “this is one of the only cities where entertainers and athletes have gone on to form a business class.”

Killer Mike Calls Out City Council Members

He also pointed out that he appeared before the council in May and accused the members of dragging their feet. He then called out the city council members for relying on entertainers and club owners when they need votes but not listening to their voices.

“When you come around and you need donations, when you come around and you need votes you come to us singers and dancers and club owners and we oblige you. So, do the right thing and send this back to committee,” he concluded. Check out the clip below.

Nicki Minaj Responds To IG Account Claiming To Be Her Assistant: “I Am Mind Blown”

Nicki Minaj became the No. 1 Twitter Trending Topic on Monday evening (Aug.1) after an account claiming to be the NYC rapper’s former assistant began spilling tea and spreading rumors about the “Do We Have A Problem?” hitmaker.

The “Kate Miller” Instagram account, which has since been taken down, made numerous allegations about Nicki Minaj. “I am Onika’s ex-assistant who she fired for absolutely no proof of fraud with her bank account,” one post read. “I’m exposing all files I have from working for her. Along with the voice messages she sent me regarding many different people.”

Among the almost 50 posts were allegations that Nicki Minaj owes $173M in unpaid taxes to the IRS and claims that she paid to boost her upcoming “Freaky Girl” single in the charts. The account owner also claimed to reveal Nicki’s son’s name, despite the rapper and her husband’s decision to keep the name private.

After the rumor mill went into overdrive, Nicki Minaj eventually addressed the matter, taking to Instagram Live to shut down the gossip.

Nicki Minaj Says: “You Would Have To Be Dumb”

“Every day I learn that y’all getting dumber and f###### dumber,” she said. “The other day I was on Twitter and I saw this whole fanbase, b####. They marked up a whole spreadsheet saying, ‘This what we boutta do to get rid of Nicki finally.’ And they was saying all types of s### and I just was like whoa this is sad, right?”

She continued, expressing her surprise that anyone would take the page seriously at all. “I am mind blown that people are this f###### dumb,” she said. “That people are really believing that I got somebody that work for me and now they spilling tea. Chile. But, it’s not even that. It’s the tea sound so f###### dumb, and for a person to believe it, you would have to be dumb. It’s clearly a kid.”

He continued and separated himself from his peers who don’t show the same love to their fans. “Unlike these lame artist that wont even make eye contact with the people who made it possible to even have a career. I only exist because these fans saw something in me I never thought was possible.. So Ima go all out for my fans!!!!”

Last month, Fabolous and Kevin Hart pulled up to one of Breezy’s shows and crashed his meet and greet. The pair joined other Chris Brown fans in line before making sure they took some snaps with their famous friend. Check out the hilarious clip and a thread of meet and greet pics below.
