Travis Scott Hints New Album With Four Massive Billboards

Despite his legal issues with the Astroworld tragedy, rapper Travis Scott seems to be getting back to work.

According to Billboard Magazine, his team has posted up four promotional billboards around California to celebrate his upcoming album, Utopia.

The boards have black with yellow letters with the following phrases, “Looking for UTOPIA?” “PSST…..,” “WRONG WAY” and the logo for Scott’s Cactus Jack brand.

The second-time father’s billboards were set up on the I-10 highway in the direction headed away from the Coachella grounds in Indio, California.

The rapper will not be attending. Travis was supposed to perform during Kanye’s set, but Ye pulled out last minute to focus on his mental health.

There has not been an official release date for Travis’ Utopia project. Fans have been waiting on this highly anticipated release since his 2018 Astroworld album.

Travis Scott talked about the release of Utopia well into late 2021, long before the Astroworld Festival disaster.

This past March, Travis Scott and his girlfriend Kylie Jenner had their first son together. They originally named him Wolf, but decided that name did not fit the infant.

“FYI our sons name isn’t Wolf anymore,” Jenner wrote with two laugh-crying emojis. “We just really didn’t feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere.”

As reported by AllHipHop.com, Travis Scott is being sued in total for almost $10 billion from the victims of the ten people who died and hundreds of those injured by the crowd surge.

The Astroworld tragedy is still in litigation.

Kam Kalloway Taps BMW Kenny In “Lights Out” & Talks A Wild Trip To Atlanta

Self-titled artist-preneuer Kam Kalloway has officially released his new single, “Lights Out (Talm Bout),” featuring BMW Kenny. The song is produced by Noize Beats (TLC, TeaMarr, and Elijah Connor) who expertly balance grit and playfulness, with a tone drawn from Kalloway’s challenging experiences in Atlanta.

Kalloway faced some substantial setbacks on his infamous trip to Atlanta and channeled his experiences into 40 songs over the course of the past year, returning to Los Angeles with new connections and opportunities despite his roadblocks.

Returning from his sojourn, Kalloway made rounds at content creation houses. Here, he connected with Soundz, better known as BMW Kenny. The two hit it off right away and got to work on “Lights Out.” Paralleling Kalloway’s experience in Atlanta, the music video chronicles a descent from luxury to madness. Cinematographer Quinn Hester masterfully captures the regal sex appeal of Cardi B’s “WAP.”

Given the success of BMW Kenny’s single “Wipe It Down,” and producer credits (Rae Sremmurd, Justin Bieber, and Trey Songz) as well as Kenny’s TikTok momentum, “Lights Out” was the perfect collab for the two creatives. Looking forward, Kalloway is thrilled to be working with Leon Thomas (Drake, TY$, Arianna Grande) and Don Cannon (Lil Uzi, Lil Wayne, Dipset) on exciting new ventures.

AllHipHop: How was it growing up in Sacramento?

Kam Kalloway: It’s a very diverse but slow paced city. I’m really from Elk Grove. It was mad trees, cows, and farmland. There’s a lot of talent from the Sac area though Mozzy, Saweetie, Victoria Monét, Keith Powers, Blaq Tuxedo, Stunna Girl, Nicole Murphy, Ebro Darden; its a whole bunch of us.

AllHipHop: When did you come to LA?

Kam Kalloway: I’ve been in LA for a long time now but it’s been back and forth to New York. I met a manager when I first came to LA. I was supposed to be going to school, but ended up going to New York so I’ve been back and forth since then.

AllHipHop: Do you love it?

Kam Kalloway: It’s mecca. You can go to the beach, you can go to the snow, you can go to the mountains. We in the hills right now, everything’s 30 minutes away.

AllHipHop: I know you’re an actor as well, when did music come into play?

Kam Kalloway: It’s a long story. I started off as an extra on set for film. Ended up meeting the producer, they took me in as an intern. I Interned on a music video set that had an executive named Sylvia Rhone. She told me to walk a lady named Robin Sims to her car, which was the Vice President for Universal Motownin video productions. She brought me in as an intern in video productions, then I interned in A&R under Chris Anokute, who found Katy Perry. From there, I worked in management with Neyo for like a day. [laughs] , Then for Chris Brown through his former manager Tina Davis. That was me seeing the behind the scenes. Sevyn Streeter, Joelle James, Karina Pasian were all in a house together. I’d go up there everyday, doing mad busy work. I don’t think they really knew what to do with me but I learned a lot behind the scenes, that led me to starting a production film company shooting music videos for the labels. When the pandemic hit, I was acting though.

AllHipHop: What was your first big break with acting?

Kam Kalloway: Straight Outta Compton, and that was an accident. My friend was a casting director. They were doing big cattle calls. Got booked for one day, someone replaced me, Gary said he didn’t want the person and they kept me. I was originally supposed to be a photo double, then got bumped to an actual role that later didn’t even get credited. That was my foot in the doorish. Since then I’ve done a bunch of campaigns, other shows, various films. Nothing super crazy yet, I have some stuff in the works. I’ve been trying to focus on the music.

AllHipHop: When did you become your own artist and take on the Kam Kalloway moniker?

Kam Kalloway: Kam Kalloway came during the pandemic. Pandemic changed everything because I was doing so much behind the scenes, I’m like “yo I need to finish a project.” I went to Atlanta and got scammed, such a crazy story. The first time I went to Atlanta, I met a bunch of producers and writers who had the same PR as me. One of the songwriters introduced me in a studio session to a tour manager. They said “I’m a tour manager for this, that, and the other. I get half off on Airbnbs.” So I was like Okay, I’m a take that! I sent that dude my money and tried to get it back, and he was nowhere to be found. I ended up flying out to track this dude down. My cousin also an actor, I stayed in a run down house his business partner owned. It was a brim homie in there who helped me get my money back. The s### was a movie, crackhouse across the street, and a bando next door on country one way street.

The people I met that had the same PR, they weren’t f###### with what the dude did. They said “he’s gon’ be here.” It was a music video for Jacquees, Mulatto’s manager was there. They said “hey bruh, if you want to get your money, such-and-such will be here.” We got there, my homies were about to jump him. They said “you want us to rob this n*gga?” I was like nah this wrong time wrong place, I don’t know Atlanta like that yet. It made a big ruckus on the set. Jacquees was like “what’s going on?”

He tried to introduce me to people, I’m like “bro I just need my money back.” Ended up being one of those things like I need my money back in 7 days but on the fifth day, I’m like “nah I need my money back today,” and I got my money back. Still, it’s the fact we had to go through that. I stayed out there for a few months and worked with the same people I was working with. I came out with a whole project and single called “Atlanta”. The first record that you hear that I put out, it was really about my experience while I was out there. That s### was wild.

AllHipHop: How was it putting that into a song?

Kam Kalloway: It was easy because I was experiencing It. Honestly I had so much fun when I was out there. Two of my friends are producers on the TV series Atlanta, there was some inspiration from them before I went out there. I needed to go out there and connect with the sound. Lil Baby, Young Thug was poppin’, I needed to know to understand It and still be true to me.

My first record under Kam Kalloway, I did that in New York with Kayo Genesis. If we want to be specific and real about it, Kam Kalloway started in Brooklyn. I went to Brooklyn. I missed a train to the airport, I was working with Kayo Genesis on his project . I was writing stuff with him. Started a record for me, didn’t finish it. Train was delayed from Brooklyn to the airport, I stayed another night to finish “Honestly.” Put that out, that s### got a million streams in a few weeks. SO I was like okay, let me keep going with the Kam Kalloway thing, then I went to Atlanta. That’s really how it started, with that record “Honestly.” Lots of crazy s###. [laughs]

AllHipHop: How would you describe your sound?

Kam Kalloway: What’s interesting about me, because I come from a songwriting background, my sound changes. Of course there’s uniqueness in tonality for my voice, but my sound changes from record to record. That’s what is unique, I’m a chameleon. You’ll be able to identify my sound but I don’t stick to one thing. I have a creative ADD where I like to hop around and try different stuff. Right now I’m writing Dembow records for Sabi , an artist I’m working with. If you don’t know what dembow is, it’s reggaeton, trap Latin. Ass shaking music for the Latinos. I work with a lot of different creatives so it inspires me to try different things. I’m not just purely R&B, purely rap or hip-hop. I’m pretty eclectic when it comes to the musical taste and sounds I put out.

AllHipHop: You just dropped “Lights Out” with BMW Kenny, how’d that happen?

Kam Kalloway: The thing with BMW Kenny is he used to go by a producer named Soundz, He’s worked with everybody from Justin Bieber to Rihanna. The first time I met him was in a producer aspect in the studio. Then he had a record called “Wipe It “that blew up all over social media. Will Smith, all these guys were doing the #WipeItChallenge, it did like 10 billions streams or something. That was all put together by other friends that I knew that were social media influencers like Liane V.

I saw him do a post and reached out to him because I have a partnership with Triller. I was trying to get more onto the social media influencer scene because he’s big on TikTok. Did the record, a couple weeks later he was getting ready to fly into town for a day because he’s in Miami. I put the whole music video together overnight and shot it the next day with my friend Quin.

AllHipHop: What inspired “Lights Out”?

Kam Kalloway: The song was created by some of the homies that I met in Atlanta. It’s a fun song. We’re not talking about no banging or nothing, well maybe a little bit. Ok I guess, It’s some references in there but It’s a good record, the visuals are real fun and crazy. They exemplify me, my personality is real over the top. I’m really keen on visuals, I was inspired growing up by some real visual artists. I can’t wait for you guys to check that out.

AllHipHop: Talk about utilizing influencers on social media and how important it is in this day in age.

Kam Kalloway: Social media is so important right now. Influencers are very key. It used to be that you could go to these big companies, and have them put you on a platform. That’s still part of the case, but the power’s definitely been given to the people with social media. With TikTok, everybody’s a brand. By putting music in one person’s hands, they can essentially be the life for death of a career that was already made or has never been heard of. Social media is extremely important to new artists, it’s essential. It’s not the only thing. Of course you can put all of your money into radio as a platform, but what does that mean anymore? Labels used to do that s### all the time, but songs are getting into billboards based off of how many TikTok hits they’re getting, coming off social media now. So yea, to me It’s essential.

AllHipHop: I know you’re into fashion, what inspires your fashion?

Kam Kalloway: I’m inspired by life and other creatives. If I see something fly. I’m a throw it on. There’s no one particular person that inspires me for fashion. I don’t have fashion icons, I just like fly s###. A lot this I’m wearing is from NYC. These pants are from the Bronx, the jacket from Melrose. I just be throwing stuff together that’s comfortable practical . I also Model but the whole modeling stuff is me trying to piggyback on being able to have a platform. If somebody offers me an invitation to walk in a fashion show, then yeah s###! Let’s use it as a platform to help get the music out. It’s me piggybacking on opportunities so if people feel like I look like a model, I’m going to take that and run with it.

AllHipHop: 3 things you need in the studio?

Kam Kalloway: Weed, Liquor and some Adderall.

AllHipHop: What artists do you listen to the most?

Kam Kalloway: It changes. I try not to listen to too many people, I switch it up, As of lately, I’ve been listening to a lot of dembow and reggaeton but I listen to everything. Of course I’m listening to trap n*ggas. I’m listening to Lil Baby, Lil Durk, NLE Choppa, that’s obvious. As a culture it’s also the majority of whats playing every 5 minutes but also alternative vibes like Cudi, Kanye, Travis Scott.

When I’m looking for inspiration to do things out of the box, my dad will have jazz on in the car. I listen to Bill Withers, Tracy Chapman, Hans Zimmer ,Soundtrack vibe music . To give history about me, my parents are musical people as well. My mom’s an artist. When I was younger, I’d be on the road doing shows with her, following her around. We have a big musical background. She does gospel music now, so that’s the roots of music for me too in general.

AllHipHop: Any goals for yourself?

Kam Kalloway: Take over the world. Be as big of an impact to society that I can. With my art, with creating s###.

AllHipHop: Anything else you want to let the people know?

Kam Kalloway: Go check out that Kam Kalloway, BMW Kenny “Lights Out”!

50 Cent Attacks STARZ CEO Again: “This Boat Got A Hole In It”

Rapper 50 Cent has dissed the network that helped make him a successful TV mogul. The Queens native took to social media to blast Jeff Hirsch, the CEO of Starz.

50, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, paired his comments with a conversation video of Hirsch talking about the universe birthed out of Courtney Kemp and 50 Cent’s brains.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CcMB9fVDcup/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

“The digital world has really made us have to become smarter about scheduling and how you put content on the air,” Hirsch said. “As we talk about part of the reason why it was important to get all those ‘Power’ franchises, [so] we could run them back-to-back to back so that a ‘Power’ customer who watches ‘Ghost’ moves into ‘Force’ then moves into ‘Kanan‘ then moves into ‘BMF.'”

He also said, “I would say scheduling for retention is probably the most important thing you can do in the digital world.”

50 responded to this by writing in his caption, “he said scheduling for retention is most important thing, then ignores production timelines till we have a 6-month gap what a genius. This boat 🛳got a hole in it, FORCE last episode next week.”

This is not the first time 50 has come at STARZ.

Last month AllHipHop.com reported 50 wrote on his Instagram, “I have 4 more episodes of FORCE, then I don’t have anything airing on STARZ for six months so y’all know the vibes.”

Many fans had wrongly assumed the series, which is almost at the end of the first season, would be immediately followed by a new season of “Power: Raising Kanan.”

“FORCE is the highest-rated [premiere] of any show on the network,” 50 noted. “When they take too long to greenlight it, it pushes the production timeline back. after tonight’s episode there are 3 left, April 10 it’s a wrap. Then 6 months till I have anything new.”

https://twitter.com/50cent/status/1505513360464695298?s=20&t=Yb0qfFME_NVgfZ0MqmPq3g

He then apologized on Instagram for the delay, saying, “I’m sorry they messed up the flow.”

“This is me packing my stuff, STARZ,” he wrote on Instagram prior to the renewal. “Sucks, my deal is up over here I’m out. They Renewed High town and FORCE is the highest-rated show they have it sitting in limbo. If I told you how much dumb s### I deal with over here.”

No word on his if comments impacted his deal at the cable company.

Jam Master Jay EXCLUSIVE: Witness Told Cops She Saw Man With Braids Running From Studio After Murder

One of the suspects accused of killing Jam Master Jay is asking a judge to dismiss the case against him- claiming there is evidence of another conspiracy and a witness to back it up.

The Feds have charged Ronald “Tinard” Washington and Karl “Lil D” Jordan with the October 30th, 2002 murder of the pioneering Run-DMC group member.

Federal prosecutors claim Washington and Jordan conspired to murder Jam Master Jay after Washington was cut out of a lucrative, multi kilo cocaine deal.

EXCLUSIVE: Source Claims Jam Master Jay’s Drug Supplier Was High Ranking BMF Member

According to the Feds, Washington was buzzed into Jay’s Jamaica, Queens, New York studio, while Jordan entered behind him in a mask and fired off two shots.

One struck Jam Master Jay in the head, killing him instantly, while another bullet hit a man named Uriel Rincon in the leg.

Murder charges were finally brought against the pair in August 2020, nearly 20 years after Jam Master Jay was killed.

Lawyers for Washington just filed documents claiming the government’s case rests on the testimony of a lone eyewitness – Lydia High.

Lydia High was the one who allegedly buzzed Ronald “Tinard” Washington into the studio that fateful evening Jay was murdered in his recording studio.

There were multiple people present in the studio when Jay was killed. Those present included: Lydia High, her brother and Jay’s business partner, Randy Allen, Michael Bonds, Uriel Rincon, and a new figure, Yaray Concepcion.

Jay’s nephew, Rodney “Boe Scagz” Jones, claims he came into the studio after the shooting and witnessed the aftermath.

However, due to the studio setup, there were only two eyewitnesses– Lydia High and Uriel Rincon. Rincon has never made a statement, so Federal agents are relying on High’s account of the evening, which is as follows:

“Two black males entered the [sitting room], and both men had guns. . . . Upon entering, one man remained in the doorway, the other man, who was wearing a knit wool mask and holding a gun, ordered Lydia [High] to the floor. The man with the mask then ordered Mr. Mizell to the floor, at which time Uriel Rincon stood up to assist . . . Mr. Mizell. The man with the mask then shot Mr. Mizell, fired another shot, and fled out of the doorway with the other man.”

Lydia High claims Washington held a gun to her and ordered her to get on the ground while the masked man shot Jam Master Jay. Nevertheless, Washington’s lawyers claim there are numerous inconsistencies in Lydia High’s statements after Jay’s murder.

Sources: Lydia Allen Cooperating With Authorities On JMJ Case

To begin with, Washington claims he has known Lydia High for years. Yet, she failed to identify Mr. Washington as a participant – despite his frequent presence in the studio.

Furthermore, Lydia High waited almost nine months to identify Washington as a suspect after being presented with a photo array by the police.

Washington says it is impossible that High would not have been able to recognize him immediately due to his close relationship with Jam Master Jay.

Ronald “Tinard” Washington’s lawyers claim another key witness saw something different when Jam Master Jay was murdered.

In 2002, Tanya Edwards told investigators she was working at the front desk for a financial services company named Primerica, which had an office on the same floor as Jay’s studio.

Ms. Edwards had a clear view of anyone entering the building. From her reception desk, Ms. Edwards could also see individuals who walked past the Primerica office to the studio.

On November 1st, the day after Jam Master Jay’s murder, Ms. Edwards told the cops that between 7:15 PM and 7:30 PM, she saw a man and a woman walk past the Primerica office on the way to his studio.

Tanya Edwards said she heard two shots and saw the same man run back down the hallway and out of the building. During the same interview, Ms. Edwards said the woman was wearing a “brown, floppy hat, and the man was wearing a light-blue, velour jumpsuit.”

Edwards said the man she witnessed was “tall and solid, with braids to his neck.” She estimated the man’s age to be in the mid-twenties.

During a follow-up interview ten months later, in August of 2003, Ms. Edwards positively identified Lydia High as the woman who walked in with the shooter.

Washington and his lawyers believe Lydia High could be engaged in a cover-up to possibly protect her brother, Randy Allen, who supposedly benefited from an insurance policy Jam Master Jay had taken out on his own life.

Unfortunately for Washington, when Ms. Edwards was interviewed again in 2016 – almost 14 years later – she said she did not recognize the woman accompanying the man to the studio on October 30th, 2002.

“The passage of time has prejudiced Mr. Washington immensely. Lydia High was the lone eyewitness implicating Mr. Washington in the shooting. In turn, a single eyewitness [Tanya Edwards] simultaneously cast doubt on Ms. High’s account of the shooting and implicated her in it. But because so many years had passed, Ms. Edwards no longer remembered that she identified Lydia High as a participant in the shooting,” Washington’s lawyer Susan G. Kellman explained.

Kellman added that the passage of time since the incident, the intense media coverage surrounding Jam Master Jay’s murder, and the numerous theories about his death had decreased the effectiveness of Washington’s defense team to interview witnesses.

“The only eyewitness placing Mr. Washington in the studio at the time of the murder, Lydia High, may well have been implicated in the attack. But the only eyewitness implicating Ms. High no longer recalls seeing her with the other attacker. The passage of time has substantially prejudiced Mr. Washington’s ability to present a constitutionally sufficient defense,” Kellman said.

Pete Davidson Absent From First Season Of “The Kardashians”

Pete Davidson won’t be getting any airtime during the first season of The Kardashians.

Editors at TMZ have reported that the upcoming Hulu show wrapped filming without any appearances from the “Saturday Night Live” star, though Kim will talk about their relationship.

Pete and Kim started dating last October after meeting on the set of the sketch program.

The TV personality filed for divorce from husband Kanye West in February 2021 and was declared legally single last month.

In a recent interview with Variety, Kim confirmed that Pete, 28, had not yet appeared on her family’s new show.

“I have not filmed with him,” the 41-year-old admitted. “And I’m not opposed to it. It’s just not what he does.”

However, she teased that season two might have more in store for her partner.

“If there was an event happening and he was there, he wouldn’t tell the cameras to get away. I think I might film something really exciting coming, but it wouldn’t be for this season. It wouldn’t reach until next season,” she added.

The Kardashians will begin streaming on April 14th.

Is Lil Durk Firing Animated Shots To Threaten NBA YoungBoy?

Currently, The Voice appears unstoppable. Considering, his professional and his personal life, he is winning. Be that as it may, is Lil Durk embracing negativity and firing animated shots to threaten NBA YoungBoy?

So, Hip-Hop has always been a competitive culture. However, its current fixation with Beef detracts from its substance and artistic integrity. As its commercial appeal thrives, will its contributors like the celebrated Chicagoan choose chaos?

Thus far, Durkio is cultivating a body of work which readily resonates with the world. As a matter of fact, his latest release — 7220 — is sending him to the top of the Billboard charts! Nonetheless, he still find the time to seemingly antagonize his lyrical nemesis, NBA.

Moreover, one of The Cook’s recent shows contains interesting footage. At this unspecified event, a clip begins to wildly circulate. In fact, it purportedly showcases Lil Durk virtually thrashing a Top look-a-like.

https://twitter.com/LilDurkAccess/status/1512897720532582401

Beyond, the bristling bars and wifi posturing, there has not been much to this socially constructed feud. So, that is a definite blessing. Is this virtual demonstration a forewarning of what is to come?

Via, the use of WWE Gameplay animation the MC appears to virtually demonstrate what may happen with a meet up between the two artistic adversaries. Is Lil Durk focusing on the wrong thing; or, is his willingness to stay ready a good thing?

Chris Rock May Have Lost His Hearing After Will Smith Slap

Chris Rock told a comedy show audience that he won’t talk about the Oscars slap until he’s “paid.”

As part of a stand-up performance in Indio, California, the Academy Awards presenter briefly addressed the moment Will Smith slapped him during the live telecast on March 27th after comparing his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith – who has the medical condition alopecia – to “G.I. Jane.”

“I’m OK, I have a whole show, and I’m not talking about that until I get paid. Life is good. I got my hearing back,” he said, according to the Palm Springs Desert Sun.

It remains unclear whether Rock was joking, referring to a paid interview, a new show, or compensation. The star also briefly addressed the incident at a Boston show on March 30th.

“I’m still kinda processing what happened. So, at some point, I’ll talk about that s###,” he stated.

Will Smith apologized to the Academy members and his peers during his acceptance speech for Best Actor at the film event.

Last week, the “King Richard” actor was banned from attending the Oscars for ten years by members of the Academy.

Sam “Zzz” Zelaya Signs To Lil Bibby’s Grade A Productions

Chicago-bred rapper Brandon “Lil Bibby” Dickson made a name for himself as a music executive by backing chart-topping artists like The Kid Laroi and the late Juice WRLD. The Grade A Productions co-founder is looking to repeat that success with Sam “Zzz” Zelaya.

After seeing Zzz receive a shoutout from DJ Khaled, Lil Bibby invited the teenager onto an Instagram Live session. Bibby reportedly flew Zzz out to Los Angeles the next day and eventually signed the University of Florida student to a record deal.

“It’s always great to sign a new artist that is up and coming. Overall, the Neighborhood Superstar is earning a polarizing reputation. Previously, his actions tout both a wrathful side and a benevolent side. Be that as it may, he is not loosing any sleep over how he believes others perceive his actions.

In fact, growing up in a difficult environment actually works to toughen up his skin. Nonetheless, the North Carolina narrator is taking out the time. So, he is clearing up a minute misconception.

Recently, a viral video has been ferociously circulating. This quick clip appears to show a disinterested woman rejecting a physical advance from the Billion Dollar Baby. However, Mr. Nasty effortlessly explains the interaction.

First off, the video in question displays DaBaby engaging with a group of his ardent supporters. Additionally, the footage captures a childlike embrace and confirming cries of adoration. Of course, it is obvious that the entertainer appears to enjoy messing around with his fans.

From there the MC hops onto social media and straightens out any confusion. “Who be making this cap a** sh*t up bruh???” his reply to the kiss rebuff. Eventually, he offers up his own evidence. An extended Instagram video from February serves as the receipt.

“Me & my booboos love each other to death but ain’t no kissin goin on,” confirms the celebrated rapper.

Cardi B’s husband, Offset, commented on the viral “Shake It” clip. The Atlanta-bred Migos member tweeted, “I love when wifey be on da GanGsta time… remind them where u started from.”

Many fans agreed with Offset, suggesting “Shake It” is reminiscent of Cardi’s delivery on the Gangsta B*tch Music, Vol. 1 and Gangsta B*tch Music, Vol. 2 mixtapes. Those projects arrived before her Grammy-winning Invasion of Privacy album dropped in 2018.

YouTube music critic Anthony Fantano also applauded the “Shake It” snippet. Fantano has 855,000 Twitter followers and 2.6 million YouTube subscribers. The creator of theneedledrop channel tweeted, “Not Cardi B sounding amazing on a Drill beat.”

Cardi B Shows Her Range As An Entertainer

Kay Flock’s “Shake It” featuring Dougie B, Bory300, and Cardi B will land on DSPs this Friday (April 15). The track is currently available for pre-save/pre-add on Spotify and Apple Music via Capital Music Group.

Cardi B also made headlines late last month when Nickelodeon announced she and her family will appear on the April 15th episode of Baby Shark’s Big Show! She recorded “The Seaweed Sway” song for the animated children’s series as well.

This led to some Bardi Gang members pointing out Cardi’s range as a recording artist and entertainer. The 29-year-old former reality show star will go from rapping for the kid-friendly Nickelodeon network to rhyming over an NYC Drill song like “Shake It” in the same week.

Drake Doppelganger Claims Cons Facebook With Bogus Post!

Often, the internet is an interesting place. Here, there is an abundance of idle time. Recently, Drake doppelganger claims are conning Facebook users with a bogus post.

That’s right, for some reason visits to a satirical social media page are going into overdrive. Yup, the Drizzy lies are a plenty. Somewhere a creative individual is getting busy in the Devil’s workshop.

The Con

In fact, the confounding rumors are still circulating. It purportedly involves several claims about the Certified Lover Boy. Moreover, supposed “tough times” are what somehow substantiated these falsehoods.

First off, Drake is synonymous with financial success. So, the suggestion that he was booked to perform for mere peanuts is more than ludicrous. Grab the popcorn; let’s get to the bottom of this gossip.

The Investigation

Above all, Champagne Papi is intimately familiar with the finer things in life. Needless to say, he is at the point where he can easily bless others. Be that as it may, reading is fundamental.

So, upon closer inspection of the blowdown page, it is immediately clear that the information should be scrutinized. As 45 surmises, it is nothing but “fake news!” Furthermore, the page clearly specifies it covers “(sh*t)Post Department” and is definitely “satire. McAllen Poop.”

Clearly, a witty individual is responsible for creating this chaos. However, the Canadian crooner is still being confused with the fictitious, “Ronnie Williams, Jr.” Also, the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley is now a part of these shenanigans.

“The fugitive task force is looking for Ronnie Williams Jr. of McAllen for fraud. He has convinced 3 local colleges that he is Drake (rapper) and even went as far as performing One Dance in front of UTRGV this past weekend,” reads the hoax.

Ultimately, the suggestion that the entertainer is accepting booking for “35 dollars” and a “6 pack of Modelo” is utterly false. Nice try, internet.

Legendary Hip Hop representative Kid Capri will add his name to the list of special cameos on The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder. The Bronx-raised entertainer will play the deejay at a quinceañera for Penny Proud’s frenemy, LaCienega Boulevardez.

T.I. Talks Getting Booed During Comedy Show In Brooklyn

Clifford “T.I.” Harris is making the transition from Hip Hop artist to stand-up comedian. T.I. has faced backlash from veteran comics, like Godfrey, for trying to enter into their world.

On April 9, Tip faced a negative response from a live audience. According to reports, the crowd inside Brooklyn’s Barclays Center booed the Paper Trail album creator’s set at the April Fools Comedy Jam.

AllHipHop caught up with T.I. following his first comedy show in Brooklyn. The 41-year-old Grammy winner talked about experiencing being jeered by paying onlookers.

“It’s a different piece of adversity that I have been approached with overcoming,” said Tip. “And I enjoyed myself so much, I want some more… If they’ll let me go out there again, I’d go out there right now.”

He added, “When s###’s too easy and there ain’t no challenge to it, I don’t care. That’s what got me out of music because it’s almost like people expect me to be good.”

The April Fools Comedy Jam also featured Nick Cannon, HaHa Davis, Eddie Griffin, Rip Micheals, B. Simone, Bruce Bruce, Michael Blackson, Joe Torry, and more. T.I. saw fans booing him as a rite of passage moment for a comedian.

“I embrace the hate,” T.I. declared. “But it wasn’t even hate. It was on some, ‘This is our opportunity to really make you one of us.’ And I appreciate that. I ain’t got no problem with that. I love the opportunity to overcome and scramble.”

T.I. Previously Got Into A Verbal Altercation With Another Comedian

The New Yorkers’ disapproving response towards T.I. came after the Hustle Gang leader got into an argument with comedian Lauren Knight in Atlanta. Knight made sexual assault allegation jokes about the chart-topping rapper.

After the interaction went viral on social media, T.I. and Lauren Knight eventually reconciled. The Family Hustle reality show star even shouted out Knight to his 14.2 million Instagram followers.

“Everyone I’d like to introduce you to @sheslaurenk she’s a young [up-and-coming] comic on the scene in Atlanta check her out,” wrote T.I. on IG.

The emcee/actor continued, “She’s a young [Black woman] fighting to use her voice for laughter and I understand that may take us down dark roads at times but there’s always an opportunity to find a beacon of light and produce a positive outcome.”

JT Thanks U.K. Drill Rapper Ivorian Doll For Defending The City Girls

Ivorian Doll found herself defending her love for the City Girls when a podcaster called her out for including the duo among the top rappers in the game.

City Girls’ JT thanked the German-born East Londoner for standing up to U.K.-based influencer Zeze Millz. “Thank you,” wrote JT, tagging Ivorian Doll in the tweet. “That lady was about to bust a blood vessel to convince you to change your mind 😭”

While Ivorian Doll responded with a simple laughing emoji and red heart, ZeZe stuck to her guns in her response. “😂come on you guys have good/catchy songs,” she penned. “But to be included in the top 5 female rappers 😅🥴… All love tho,” she added.

It’s no surprise that the former YouTuber turned drill artist is a City Girls Fan. She cites some of the top female artists as her inspirations and credits them for helping her achieve her dreams.

“Missy Elliott is so good. Nicki Minaj: absolutely love her. And Beyoncé!,” Ivorian Doll explained during an interview earlier this year. “I used to look at some of these people and think, ‘Oh my God, I would really want to be the same at that point’. Like, I’ve always had an interest in it, but I thought, ‘no, that’s probably what’s not going to happen.’”

She also revealed assertiveness is key for women in the industry. She kept true to her word, not backing down in her defense of the City Girls. “I feel like, as a woman, you just kind of need to make sure you’re assertive and make sure that you show that you’re not a pushover. It’s like women playing football: people don’t get it. It doesn’t make sense to them,” she concluded.

50 Cent Hit With More Delays In $50,000 Lawsuit Against Teairra Mari

50 Cent and Teairra Mari have been in and out of the courtroom for years after she sued him for sharing an explicit image of her on social media.

A judge sided with the rapper awarding him $30,000 to cover attorney fees in 2019. However, the debt eventually increased to $50,000 because Teairra Mari repeatedly refused to honor the judgment.

Teairra Mari has to pay 50 Cent $50,000 after losing the revenge p### lawsuit she filed against him. Earlier this year, Fiddy asked the court to hold her in contempt after not receiving a penny three years from her three years after the initial judgment.

“[Mari] has been the subject of repeated sanctions by this Court but has been seemingly unswayed by such actions and has not paid any money towards the Judgment or sanctions against her, making the increased penalties associated with a finding of contempt necessary,” lawyers for the G-Unit boss said in a recent filing.

50 Cent Hires A P.I.

Tired of waiting, 50 Cent hired a private investigator earlier this month to serve her with legal papers. Radar Online report Teairra Mari asked for the court to deny the motion brought by 50 Cent.

According to Teairra Mari, she can’t appear in court on April 20 in Los Angeles like 50 Cent wants as she lives in Georgia. Nonetheless, she claims to be willing to “engage in efforts to satisfy the debts at issue.” She will also “participate in the discovery process moving forward.”

While 50 Cent is yet to comment, he is unlikely to be pleased by more delays.

Meanwhile, the TV mogul continued to call out Starz this week. 50 Cent is unhappy that the network allowed a 6-month break in airing his shows. Sharing a clip of Starz CEO Jeff Hirsch, he wrote:

“👀he said scheduling for retention is most important thing,” Fif penned on Instagram. “Then ignores production time lines till we have a 6 month gap what a genius. This boat 🛳got a hole in it, FORCE last episode next week. #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi”

Kodak Black Says Jada Pinkett Smith Needs To Link Him: “You Don’t Deserve Will Smith”

Kodak Black is shooting his shot at Jada Pinkett Smith but needs her to fix her “out of pocket” ways before he can entertain her.

The “Super Gremlin” rapper hopped on Instagram Live this weekend to share his thoughts on Will Smith’s marriage to Jada. The outspoken artist did not hold back, also addressing her relationship with Tupac and had some harsh words for Willow Smith.

“Jada Pinkett, baby, you was out of pocket. You out of pocket for that s###,” Kodak began. He then told Jada she needs a slice of Kodak Black. “Come f**k with me. That’s what you need to do ’cause that s### you doing, that s### you doing ain’t real, bro.”

As for Will Smith, Kodak Black says Jada doesn’t deserve him. “You got a ni**a who love you, all kinds of s###,” he said. “Come f**k with Kodak. That’s what you need ’cause you just on some b#######. You don’t deserve Will Smith. You deserve Yak.” He added,”You deserve me.”

Kodak’s “out of pocket” remarks come in response to resurfaced clips of the couple which went viral recently. In one, Jada admitted to crying before she married the Philadelphia native. In another, Will accuses Jada of using him for social media when she films him without permission while promoting her Red Table Talks show.

Kodak Black Says “Tupac Wasn’t All The Way Gangsta”

Meanwhile, Kodak Black also had something to say about Jada’s relationship with Pac. “Tupac wasn’t all the way cut, wasn’t all the way gangsta his whole life. The boy went to acting school, all kind of s###, dancing,” he said. “Stop playing Will Smith like that, bro. Will Smith a stand-up ni**a, a stand-up man with integrity.”

Kodak Black defended Will Smith once again, who he says needs a “young tenderoni.” “Go get you some s### about 18 years old, get you some s### about 22,” he said.

He also had some words about 21-year-old Willow Smith’s loyalty, calling her out of her name. “Go ‘head get you a whole ‘nother daughter, one who gon’ praise you, gon’ cherish you. B####, you supposed to be my daughter, daddy’s girl,” Kodak Black ranted.

Fivio Foreign released his long-awaited debut studio album last week and has been on the receiving end of high praise ever since.

The rising Brooklyn drill star dropped the Kanye West-produced B.I.B.L.E. last week (Apr.8) to much acclaim. The latest plaudits come from New York rap icon Nicki Minaj.

He also gave himself props for the success of his first full-length offering. “5 Billboards in Times Square, Top 5 songs in NY on Apple at once, & articles in both Daily News & NY Times.. Don’t ever let that n#### say he the King Of this city 🗽,” wrote Favio.

Meanwhile, Fivio Foreign revealed that he almost missed out on a Destiny’s Child sample and had to switch up his lyrics to appease Queen Bey.

Fivio Foreign Had To “Clean Up” His Lyrics For Beyoncé

During a recent Hot 97 interview, he explained that he had to “clean up” the lyrics if he wanted to clear the sample for “What’s My Name” featuring Coi Leray and Queen Naija.

“Shout out to Destiny’s Child, I appreciate that. They cleared that joint. She [Beyonce] had to hear it. She heard it,” he said before admitting he had to make some changes. “It was a little vulgar a little bit for her, at first. I cleaned it up a lot! It was like ‘nah, you can’t be talking about girls like that.”

Tory Lanez: “I’ll Say Whatever I Like” After Addressing Megan Thee Stallion, Meek Mill & Kehlani On New Song

Tory Lanez was freed from court earlier this week after stumping up a $350,000 bond when a judge found him guilty of violating a protective order in his case against Megan Thee Stallion. He was ordered not to talk about the court case but did so anyway.

However, his new song, “Mucky James” references the incident, and Tory says: “I’ll say whatever the f### I like to.”

“I was at a high in my career, you think I’d come out here and [shoot a b####?]

Tory Lanez took to Twitter on Sunday (Apr. 10) with a defiant message for anyone concerned with his lyrics.

“I’ll say whatever the f### I like to …. And feel no way about it,” he began. “We get so scared of how people take our opinions on these apps that we forget our own freedom to the thoughts we think . Have your freedom of speech unapologetically.”

Tory added, “Be true to yourself ….. cuz anything otherwise isn’t real or comfortable.”

He also addresses his beef with Meek Mill Kehlani on the track.

“Meek Mill, he used to be my dawg, he did some flaw s### to me

Tory Lanez Creates New App Aiming To Connect Billions Of Dogs Together

After a rather dramatic week, rap star Tory Lanez is focused on building his business empire.

Tory just announced he is a partner in a brand new app called Puppy Mate.

According to the company’s documentation, the app is designed to connect dog owners who are located near each other and helps pair them with the perfect mating partner for their pooch.

The app also facilitates the purchase or sale of puppies near a user. Or, you can simply find a new best friend for your dog.

Tory Lanez said he is a dog lover, so when his partner Caron Henson presented him with the idea for Puppy Mate, he knew the app and the black-owned business was a natural fit in his portfolio.

“Okay, I know you are wondering why is this man in a suit and why is he at his dog park? Those two things do not correlate. They did not correlate until this day, right here,” Tory Lanez said. “We have just invented what is the greatest app, the biggest app, and the first-ever app for dog lovers, the dog community, and connecting dog people all around the world.”

I want you to imagine Tinder, Uber, Postmates all in one to create Puppy Mate. This app was made to give jobs out to many people who love dogs all over the world,” Tory Lanez explained. “You need a sitter? Swipe on the app. You need a dog playmate? Swipe on the app. You need a dog for your dog to breed with? Swipe the app. Puppy Mate [is] the best app for dogs in the world and the first-ever app for dog lovers worldwide.”

If Puppy Mate succeeds, the pair could be barking up the right tree. According to estimates, the dog breeding market will exceed $2 billion in 2022.

The news comes days after Tory Lanez was handcuffed and jailed for violating a gag order in his ongoing legal case with Megan Thee Stallion.

The LA Sheriff’s Office briefly detained the rapper after a judge found the rap star guilty of sending some tweets directed at Megan thee Stallion.

Tory was eventually released on a $350,000 bond.

The rapper is accused of shooting Megan in the feet after a party in the Hollywood Hills in July of 2020.

The rapper could face as many as 22-years in prison if convicted of the crime. A trial date is currently set for September 14, 2022.
