Digga D underestimated his fans’ willingness to hear new music when he issued them with a challenge on Monday (Feb. 14).
The West London drill rapper was feeling the love on Valentine’s Day and offered his fans a gift. “50k comments I’ll drop toxic 2.0 today,” he told his Instagram followers.
Digga D then followed up with some snippets of the song, which he also shared on social media, further teasing his fans.
However, just a few hours later, eager fans had left more than the 50,000 comments Digga D asked for. The “Pump 101” hitmaker had no alternative but to release the track.
“Man of my word but I hate you lot for making me drop this😐,” he wrote, announcing the release of the song.
“Toxic Pt.2” is the follow-up to 2021’s “Toxic,” also released on Valentine’s Day. Digga D stuck to the script from the first song, boasting about his less than romantic ways with women. He opens the melodic track with, “You know I still pay for v#####? So bust down watch is a minor.”
The unfinished song was first previewed earlier this month. Digga D hopped on Instagram Live to share a snippet with fans as he read the lyrics from his phone. He also hinted to fans that he was on the remix to Hazey’s viral hit “Packs & Potions,” which was confirmed the following day.

Muni Long’s “Hrs And Hrs” provided a lot of inspiration for this year’s Valentine’s Day. For example, Lil Mama quoted the song on her Instagram Story as she gave a special shout-out to Meek Mill.
“I wanna give you your flowers,” wrote Lil Mama in an IG caption as “Hrs And Hrs” played in the background. The post also featured a photo of Meek Mill surrounded by pink hearts, pink flowers, and red flowers emojis.
The Shade Room uploaded Lil Mama’s tribute to the Philadelphia-raised emcee to its own Instagram page. Both Mama and Meek added comments under the image.

Wendy Williams has spoken out about concerns for her mental health amid her legal battle with Wells Fargo and absence from her show.
The Jasmine Brand shared a statement from LaShawn Thomas, Esq., attorney for Wendy Williams.
Wendy Williams “wants the world to know that she strenuously denies all allegations about her mental health and well-being,” the statement began. “During this hiatus from the show, Wendy has employed holistic health professionals to help her reach optimal health during her treatment of Graves’ disease and thyroid concerns.”
The attorney revealed that Wendy Williams is saddened by Wells Fargo’s decision to “believe the allegations of a former employee” who has a grudge. She claims the employee is “upset because she no longer has direct and unfettered access” to Wendy’s finances.
Moreover, Wendy’s rep states that Wells Fargo left her with no alternative after they refused to “honor her Power of Attorney, granting her son authority to make inquiries to the bank on Wendy’s behalf.” Wendy Williams blamed the former employee for spreading rumors and “believes that all of the false narratives,” come from the person she once considered “a friend.”
The attorney continued, “Wendy can’t believe that Wells Fargo has wrongly denied her access to her funds without justification.” Furthermore, Thomas states Wells Fargo only raised suspicions when “Wendy made it known that she no longer wanted to bank” with them.

That may start to change. On Jan. 19, 2022, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill awarding O’Ree a Congressional Gold Medal. A day earlier, the Boston Bruins retired O’Ree’s number 22 on the 64th anniversary of the night the forward from New Brunswick, Canada became the first Black person to play in a National Hockey League game.
O’Ree had always known he possessed the talent to play in the NHL. A speedy skater with an intuitive feel for the game, he had played organized hockey since he was five years old and had scored 22 goals with 12 assists in his first professional season with Quebec. His big break came when the Bruins invited him to attend training camp before the start of the 1957-58 season. Although he failed to make the final cut, team officials were impressed enough by his overall performance to tell him he needed only “a little more seasoning” to reach the big time.
“They knew what I could do,” O’Ree later recalled in his 2000 memoir, “The Autobiography of Willie O’Ree: Hockey’s Black Pioneer.”
Sure enough, that January, the Boston Bruins were short a roster player and called him up from their minor league club for a road contest against the Montreal Canadiens.
O’Ree could barely control his excitement. “I could see fans pointing, ‘There’s that black kid. He’s up with the Bruins,’” O’Ree wrote.
Despite his nervousness, he did nothing to embarrass himself during a rare 3-0 Boston shutout over their hated archrivals. “O’Ree is not only fast, but he’s a strong skater,” Montreal coach Frank Selke said after the game. “He looks as if he could go all night.”
‘It was the greatest thrill of my life … I’ll always remember this day.’
O’Ree suited up for only one more game as a Bruin that season before returning to the minors. He was hardly crestfallen. “I’m just happy to get a chance up here, that’s about all I can say,” he told The Boston Globe.
O’Ree returned to the Bruins in 1960-61 and notched four goals and 10 assists in 43 games. His first NHL goal – a game-winner against Montreal at the Boston Garden on New Year’s Day, 1961 – proved memorable. On a breakaway, a teammate fed him a perfect pass, which he deposited under the glove hand of Montreal goaltender Charlie Hodge. For his standout effort, O’Ree received a rousing standing ovation from the home crowd that lasted several minutes.
O’Ree wasn’t so well received at other NHL venues. At New York City’s venerable Madison Square Garden, for instance, fans showered him with racial insults before he even stepped onto the ice. In Chicago, he was targeted for abuse for bruising Blackhawks forward Eric “Elbows” Nesterenko. After calling O’Ree the n-word, Nesterenko took the butt-end of his stick and rammed it into O’Ree’s unsuspecting face. A broken nose and two missing front teeth later, O’Ree had had enough. He took his stick and smashed Nesterenko over the head with it. O’Ree’s teammates came rushing to his aid as both teams’ benches emptied. What followed was a classic hockey donnybrook that ended with O’Ree being sent to the Bruins locker room for medical treatment.
“Every time I went on the ice I was faced with racial slurs because of my color,” O’Ree admitted to the Anti-Defamation League Youth Congress gathering held in Boston in 2016. “I had black cats thrown on the ice and [people] told me to [go] back to the cotton fields and pick cotton.” O’Ree claimed he didn’t mind. “I didn’t let it hurt me,” he said. “I let it go in one ear and out the other.”
O’Ree’s dream of hockey glory was almost cut tragically short. While playing in a junior league game in Guelph, Ontario, as a 20-year-old, he lost sight in most of his right eye after a deflected slap shot struck his face. Ignoring his doctor’s advice to hang up his skates, O’Ree continued to play despite being at an obvious competitive disadvantage.
“I was a left shot, and I was playing left wing, but I had no right eye,” O’Ree explained. He didn’t want others to know of his handicap, lest it scare teams away from employing him. “It was my secret,” he said.
The Bruins traded O’Ree to the Canadiens before the start of the 1961-62 season. O’Ree was personally devastated. Montreal was an elite team coming off a string of Stanley Cup championships and had no room for O’Ree on their roster. As a result, O’Ree spent the remainder of his career playing on a series of minor league clubs, including the Los Angeles Blades of the Western Hockey League. He was a major standout for Los Angeles, scoring a career-high 38 goals in 1964-65. But the NHL never gave him a second look.
O’Ree did, however, serve as an inspiration to future NHL players of color like Jarome Iginla and Mike Grier.
“I’m in awe knowing what he went through,” Iginla told USA Today in 2008. “There is a lot of trash-talking going on [in the game], and I can’t imagine what he must have gone through.”
For his part, O’Ree has voiced few regrets. He did, after all, defy the odds. And he’ll forever be known as the “Jackie Robinson of hockey.”

The Republic Records artist’s Lil Baby-assisted single “Do We Have A Problem?” debuted at No. 2 on the latest Hot 100. It’s the 20th Top 10 entry of Nicki Minaj’s career, making her the seventh woman to accomplish the feat.
Madonna, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson and Whitney Houston are the other women who’ve had 20 songs crack the Hot 100’s Top 10. Only 22 artists have done it in the chart’s entire history, which dates back to 1958.

Beckham and the Rams helped Drake win a few wagers on the Super Bowl. The OVO co-founder bet $600,000 on a Rams victory. He also bet $500,000 on Beckham scoring a touchdown in the big game, which the former LSU standout accomplished in the first quarter of Sunday night’s contest.
“FOREVER BROTHER!!” Beckham commented on Drake’s post. “Lol I was gon get u ur money brother. Cherish this forever.”
Drake didn’t have a perfect night though as he bet $500,000 on Beckham having more than 62.5 receiving yards in the game. That wager didn’t pay off since the NFL veteran finished with 52 yards after suffering an injury in the second quarter.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Beckham is believed to have a torn ACL. He’s a free agent heading into the offseason.

And even though Kim was recently unveiled as the face of a new Balenciaga campaign, the star explained that one of her favourite photoshoots of late was Skims’ 2021 Valentine’s Day campaign, which also starred her young sisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
“Probably my proudest moment in terms of my body recently was when I was on a billboard covering the whole side of a building with Kendall and Kylie, who are half my age, when we did a Skims underwear campaign together, and I could stand next to them and feel confident,” the 41-year-old recalled.
Rapper Drake knows how to make money, even when just playing around.
Reports say he bet on Super Bowl LVI and made more than a quarter of a million gambling on the game.
According to the Daily Mail, the “Certified Lover Boy” bet about $1.25 million in bitcoin, a form of crypto-currency, in a total of three different bets. He won two of them and lost one after the Los Angeles Rams beat the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20.
He talked about the bets on IG, saying, “All bets are in on the family.”
These were his three possibilities: the Rams win, Odell Beckham Jr., to score a touchdown at some point in the game, and Beckham Jr. to record over 62.5 receiving yards. Because Beckham got injured, he could not win the prop bet (over/under).
Drake earned about $710,000 in bitcoin because his team won.
Because Beckham scored a 17-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter, Champagne Papi won another $840,000 – meaning he made a total profit of around $300,000 in bitcoin.
He had all of the bitcoin money he won converted from Canadian currency. This is all child’s play for the rapper.
Consider that he paid battle rappers $100,000 to battle on his birthday as per several of their demands.

Earlier in the day, Kanye West expressed his desire to get back with Kim Kardashian. He addressed their relationship drama alongside a photo of the reality star and her current boyfriend Pete Davidson.

However, the 32-year-old’s representative confirmed the pair had parted ways on Monday.
“Julia and Kanye remain good friends and collaborators but they are no longer together,” they explained in a statement to PageSix.
Kanye, 44, has not yet commented on the split, but he seems too busy trying to win Kim Kardashian back since he delivered her a truck full of roses for Valentine’s Day.
Earlier on Monday, Julia denied breaking down in tears while at Los Angeles International Airport the previous day after editors at MailOnline published photos of her transiting and claimed she appeared “tearful.”
Taking to her Instagram Stories, the star posted a screenshot of the article and asserted that she hasn’t cried “since 1997.”

“Crying where @dailymail,” she asked. However, she has wiped Ye off her Instagram by deleting all of their pictures together.
