A New York judge sentenced Tekashi 6ix9ine to 45 days in jail on Tuesday (November 12). The controversial rapper was ordered to spend more than a month behind bars for multiple probation violations.
“Your breach of the court’s trust is profound,” Judge Paul Engelmayer told 6ix9ine.
6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, pleaded guilty after agreeing to a deal with prosecutors. He tested positive for meth, failed to comply with drug testing twice and traveled to Las Vegas and Sarasota without permission while on probation.
“Five violations say to me that you believe the rules don’t apply to you,” the judge said. “Maybe you believe that because you’re a famous rapper.”
6ix9ine asked for mercy at his sentencing.
“I make a lot of mistakes, but I’m not a bad person,” he said.
Prosecutors requested a one-month sentence, but Judge Engelmayer was considering two to three months. The judge ultimately settled on 45 days and warned 6ix9ine about further violations.
“If you are brought back before me, I may sentence you to more,” the judge told 6ix9ine.
6ix9ine was on probation stemming from his conviction in a racketeering case. In 2019, he was sentenced to two years in prison and five years of supervised release. He was released in 2020 amid COVID-19 concerns plaguing jails and prisons throughout the U.S.
Earlier this year, 6ix9ine was arrested on domestic violence charges in the Dominican Republic. He was accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend Yailin La Más Viral. She sued him for nonconsensual pornography, battery, fraud and intentional infliction of emotional distress in September. She requested at least $1 million in damages.
Yailin claimed 6ix9ine “physically, sexually and emotionally abused” her. According to her lawsuit, he drugged her and stole “huge sums of money” during their relationship. After she broke up with him, he allegedly “posted private, intimate and sexually explicit videos and photographs” of her in retaliation.
In case you didn’t know, a lot of people are struggling and feeling down right now. Why? It seems like the future of democracy is in question, and that uncertainty is taking a toll. In response, many TV corporations are stepping in, taking drastic measures to help people cope with this widespread sense of sadness.
Even though it’s not Thanksgiving yet, you may have noticed an influx of Christmas-themed movies. It might seem odd—after all, we’re not even close to Christmas. But these movies seem to provide comfort and joy to many, so they’re being released earlier than usual in hopes of lifting people’s spirits. This is intentional! Tonight, I watched “Elf” and “A Christmas Story” on November 11th! WHAT!?
I hadn’t heard of anything like it until now. But it speaks volumes about the situation we’re in! People are turning to feel-good Hallmark movies just to get by. No judgment here, but it’s a significant statement when such extreme measures are taken to help people feel better. We know there’s a side of profit involved in monetizing people’s sadness. Because one thing’s certain: we don’t see a clear solution on the horizon. Here’s hoping for a breakthrough soon, though I won’t hold my breath!
Sting is unfazed by the controversy facing Sean “Diddy” Combs, maintaining that his iconic track “Every Breath You Take” remains a personal masterpiece.
Recent legal issues surrounding Combs—including charges of alleged sex trafficking—have sparked questions from fans about whether these developments impact how Sting feels about the borrowed melody.
In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, the 73-year-old music legend confirmed his stance.
“It doesn’t taint the song at all for me,” Sting said. “I mean, I don’t know what went on with Diddy, but it’s still my song.”
Sting has looked back favorably on their 1997 collaboration, including a joint performance of “I’ll Be Missing You” at the MTV Video Music Awards that same year—a moment many fans still remember.
For Sting, the artistic life of a song continues once it’s released.
He acknowledged that other musicians have also drawn from his work, including Pink and Marshmello’s recent track “Dreaming,” which samples “Fields of Gold,” his solo hit from the early ’90s.
Rather than resist these modern-day interpolations, Sting welcomes them.
“When somebody wants to interpolate or whatever it’s called,” he explained, “I never object because I always learn something new about the song that I didn’t realize before. Plus, I get paid, so what’s the harm?”
The British rocker also described music as a living entity, constantly evolving through fresh interpretations.
“Songs are living organisms—you have to keep breathing life into them or give them new bedfellows,” he said, emphasizing his openness to collaboration with contemporary artists.
Meanwhile, Diddy, 55, has been held in custody since September, facing multiple allegations of sexual abuse and trafficking.
Denied bail, he is currently awaiting trial, which is set to take place next year.
Ray J has made an alarming revelation, claiming he almost lost his life after somebody tried to shoot him.
On Tuesday morning (November 12), the singer-turned-entrepreneur took to his Instagram Story with a disturbing announcement. In a black-and-white video, Ray J explained there was an alleged attempt on his life.
“N##### just tried to shoot me,” he stated. “They tried to kill me, n####.”
Ray J didn’t share any more details regarding the alleged shooting but indicated he was being pressured to apologize for something.
“And you want me to apologize?” he added. “F### you.”
Ray J has been making headlines in recent weeks over his remarks about the allegations against Sean Diddy” Combs. He recently claimed to have had multiple altercations with Diddy’s sons.
“We didn’t have a fight. We had a big argument right outside the club,” Ray J explained before admitting that he started the argument. “This time, I think I got loud and got aggressive. But it was the third time this happened and so I felt like I needed to stand up for myself.”
He added, “It was just a crazy night. I got over cocky and said some things that were out of bounds. I said some over the top things that had to do with sodomy and other things and I wasn’t proud of myself about what I did.”
Akon is hoping to make a change with his new music. After going viral with “Akon’s Beautiful Day,” he opens up about his upcoming album Not Guilty, set to release in February 2025, in a recent interview with AllHipHop. He also shares his unique insights into his vision for the future of music and tech.
The Senegalese artist seeks to bring back the classic album experience—a cohesive body of work. While his song is doing millions on TikTok and YouTube, he’s not enamored with the single. He professes his love of music and the culture as he talks about artificial intelligence and addressing common fears around it. From A.I. advancements to rediscovering the value of albums, Akon highlights his desire to push boundaries and reshape the industry.
Watch the interview in full or read an edited version below.
AllHipHop: What’s good?
Akon: What’s going on, big time? I’m doing amazing! Good to see you, man.
AllHipHop: Good to see you, too. I see you’ve got that super iconic jacket on. I don’t even want to call it a “Michael Jackson jacket” because it’s your own thing.
Akon: It’s AKON-ic. You know? AKON-ic.
AllHipHop: Yeah, okay. Is that the name of the album?
Akon: Nah, nah. The album’s called Not Guilty.
AllHipHop: Not Guilty. Dropping in February 2025—looking forward to it. You’ve also got a new song out, an inspirational joint. Can you talk about why you went in this direction on “Beautiful Day,” the song in question?
Akon: Man, I just felt it was necessary. Coming back from Africa, I was listening to the music, and honestly, the vibration [In America] felt low, you know? I kept seeing clips of drill rappers losing their lives, or artists getting hit with RICO cases, locked up for 25 years or more because of lyrics. I thought, “We need to change this narrative.” Music should be about creating positive memories, not something that’s used as a tool to bring down a culture.
AllHipHop: Throughout your career, you’ve gone back and forth on different themes. Do you think it’s time to approach things differently?
Akon: I think we should have always thought differently. We tend to take the art for granted and sometimes forget the environment we’re in. We’ve rarely been seen in a positive light, and we often have to go above and beyond to get recognized. Even now, we’re protesting for things we contributed to and don’t get credit for. So, knowing that we often start out on a negative, we really should approach things from a worst-case-scenario mindset.
AllHipHop: We’re still in the tech space. I even asked AI to tell me about AllHipHop, and it responded with, “AllHipHop’s been adaptable to all the changes in technology.” I was like, okay, AI, we’re still here!
Akon: AI is a powerful tool. I really believe it’s going to be hugely beneficial for us in the future.
Akon: Nah, I think it’s only going to keep growing. The main fear people have with AI is losing control over it. But honestly, that fear just comes from not fully understanding it. A computer only does what a human programs it to do. It can’t go beyond that—it needs to be programmed.
AllHipHop: So it’s not the AI or the technology we should be afraid of. It’s the people programming it.
Akon: Exactly. That’s really the only thing to fear.
AllHipHop: Right? And there are already movies showing AI with rights or even having babies.
Akon: True, though. A lot of what’s happening now started in the movies. Look at FaceTime; it was on The Jetsons. Self-driving cars? That all started in cartoons. Movies sometimes do predict what’s coming.
AllHipHop: Okay, let’s talk about the album. I know it’s not dropping until February, but what can you tell us about it?
Akon: This album is going to change things, hopefully. I want to bring back the old ways of releasing music with a fresh, futuristic perspective. Right now, it’s all about singles. Everyone’s focused on dropping one single at a time, afraid to release a full album. But what made music amazing was the experience—a whole body of work with a theme.
I want to bring that vibe back, so I’m planning something for the fans. People are impatient nowadays; they don’t want to wait until the end of February. So, I’ll be offering a chance to buy a physical copy of the album before the official release date.
AllHipHop: Oh, nice. That’s good money, too.
Akon: You going to love this album, bro. I promise you. I promise this album is going to change the game. I promise.
Denzel Washington has announced an upcoming role in Black Panther 3, years after the late Chadwick Boseman said the movie franchise wouldn’t exist without the Hollywood legend.
While Marvel Studios is yet to confirm a third Black Panther film, Washington revealed director Ryan Coogler is writing a part for him.
He discussed his future acting roles during an interview with Australia’s Channel 9 Today show to promote his latest appearance in Gladiator 2.
“At this point in my career, I’m only interested in working with the best,” he shared. “I don’t know how many more films I will make, probably not that many. I want to do things that I haven’t done.”
He continued, confirming that he will join the Marvel Cinematic Universe after playing the roles of Othello and Hannibal.
“I’ve been talking with Steve McQueen about a film,” he added. “After that, Ryan Coogler is writing a part for me in the next Black Panther.”
Chadwick Boseman Honors Denzel Washington
Touchingly, Chadwick Boseman, lead actor in the ground-breaking superhero blockbuster Black Panther movie, paid tribute to Denzel Washington in 2019.
He spoke at the 47th American Film Institute Life Achievement Award ceremony honoring the two-time Oscar winner, revealing he kicked off his career with an acting course Washington quietly paid for.
“There is no Black Panther without Denzel Washington,” Boseman declared. “My whole cast; that generation stands on your shoulders. The daily battles won, the thousand territories gained, the mini sacrifices you made for the culture on film sets through your career. The things you refused to comprise along the way laid the blueprints for us to follow.”
Washington revealed his delight at Boseman’s acting career during a 2022 interview.
“When I found out it was him, he wasn’t known yet,” Washington explained. “But it obviously worked out very well for him and he had great success and was a brilliant actor.”
Young Thug’s father, Jeffrey Williams Sr., is venting his frustrations over rappers, including T.I., who he claims ignored his request to hold an event during the YSL trial but was quick to share a video of them following Thug’s release.
During a recent conversation on his “Nothing But the Truth Podcast with Big Jeff,” Williams, Sr. questioned where Young Thug’s supporters were while he was locked up.
“We got all these rappers and everybody trying to find Young Thug,” he said. “Where your ass been for 29 months? Why y’all ass ain’t been out there protesting for his constitutional rights being violated? Y’all are the ones considered to be the influencers. Ain’t influencing s###.”
He continued, “Now, you want to talk to him, you want to g###### put out these monkey-ass videos, all this for your personal gain. It’s just for your personal gain, your personal hype, trying to make yourself relevant. Where have y’all been for 29 months?”
From there, Williams Sr. called out Atlanta rappers, berating them for not fighting for Young Thug during his incarceration.
“I don’t see why you deserve no brownie points for that,” he stated. “Because I guarantee, if the shoe was on the other foot, he’d have been fighting for you. He would have been fighting for you, hands down, without trying to make a prop for his name so he can get some clout.”
Young Thug’s father also name-dropped T.I. specifically, claiming he reached out the him to throw an event during the trial.
“I was told, ‘Let me get with my people and see can I do that,’” Williams Sr. recalled. “But yet, I see you, right there beside young Thug. That’s when he needed the help. That’s when he needed your support. Let’s be for real.”
Young Thug & T.I. Tease Possible Collab
Last week, T.I. shared a video of Young Thug while hinting at an upcoming collab.
Meanwhile, a video surfaced online Monday (November 11), featuring Young Thug, Future, Travis Scott and Lil Baby in the studio. It’s unclear when the footage was recorded, but many fans are convinced it was filmed recently.
Rumors of an affair between Jim Jones and Brooke Bailey recently exploded online amid speculation the rapper had split from his longtime partner Chrissy Lampkin.
Furthermore, Jones is said to have ditched Chrissy Lampkin and secretly married Basketball Wives LA star Brooke Bailey.
Despite the rampant rumors, Brooke Bailey denied marrying Jim Jones and claims they’ve never even met.
“I am not married to Jim Jones, she said during an interview on the “TFU Podcast” that aired Monday evening (November 11). “Let me tell you guys something this is the craziest viral that I’ve ever been in my whole entire life. ’Cuz I like wake up one day, I do my whole routine, read my devotionals and positive stuff and then I go on my Instagram and I see like fake pages, like you know, ‘You took Jim.’”
Bailey said she was baffled by the messages, given that she’s single. She had no idea the Diplomats rapper was the so-called secret husband in question, even after seeing an avalanche of comments on her TikTok and Instagram accounts.
“I’m not even thinking that you know like ‘cuz that’s so f###### random,” she said.
Furthermore, Bailey praised Jones’ partner of twenty years, calling Lampkin “beautiful.”
“I love Chrissy,” she gushed. “I don’t know her personally but I’ve watched her over the years you know and I’m a girl’s girl, I don’t need to steal nobody man.”
The speculation surrounding Jim Jones and Brooke Bailey’s supposed secret marriage surfaced shortly after a cryptic post from Chrissy Lampkin.

A party guest at one of Sean “Diddy” Combs‘ notorious “freak offs” has made shocking claims about what she witnessed at the event, including apparent minors “dressed up like Harajuku Barbies.”
An aspiring singer-songwriter told TMZ that a Saudi Prince invited her to one of Diddy’s exclusive parties in 2018. Tanea Wallace recounted her experience in the documentary, TMZ Presents The Downfall of Diddy: Inside the Freak Offs.
According to the outlet, Wallace described an all-night party that went on until after 7 a.m. that included groups of seemingly intoxicated people having sex. She also said celebrities were present at the event, mentioning a well-known rapper.
Disturbingly, Wallace also allegedly saw “little people” “all huddled up” in a corner. She said she was unsure if they were “being admired” or “hid,” and described them as “dressed up like Harajuku Barbies. Red lipstick looking like, real sexy. Revealing like. Cute.”
When pressed if the “little people” were adults or minors, the outlet reports that she confirmed that they were underage.
Diddy recently denied allegations he assaulted minors in a letter to the court asking them to expedite his request for a gag order.
The request followed a claim by a grand jury witness who claimed to be in possession of videos of Diddy abusing several minors.
The letter accused the witness of ” making false and outrageous claims, including that the witness possesses videos of Mr. Combs involved in the sexual assault of celebrities and minors.”
However, a judge denied the request, citing the need to safeguard free speech.
Uncle Luke is calling out the Hispanic community over their support for Donald Trump in the 2024 election, insisting the Black and brown coalition is over.
The Miami rap legend and activist is a staunch Kamala Harris supporter. He was stunned that Hispanic voters came out for Trump and argued the President-elect’s mass deportation plans would come back to haunt them.
Furthermore, Uncle Luke believes Black people will no longer show solidarity with Hispanics.
“All y’all who didn’t vote for Kamala, y’all stupid ass gon’ get deported,” Uncle Luke began. “Y’all having marches and s### already. We are not going out there to march. Black people are not going to march for you. I’m sorry, we will not be marching. It’s no more such thing as Black and brown people. It’s Black. We will not be marching with you.”
Donald Trump Prioritizes Mass Deportation
According to Reuters, Donald Trump gained increased support among Hispanic voters with a 14-percentage-point swing from the 2020 election. A reported 46 percent of self-identified Hispanic voters picked Trump, up from 32 percent in 2020.
Trump has since doubled down on his campaign promise of the mass deportation of millions of people. During a recent post-election interview, he vowed that ensuring a “strong and powerful” border was among his top priorities for taking office in January 2025.
“It’s not a question of a price tag. It’s not – really, we have no choice,” Trump told NBC News.
Uncle Luke continued saying “the line got drawn” when Donald Trump was elected. “We already know where we stand with all y’all,” he added. “Like people know they stand with white women, Black people know where they stand with Hispanics. We thought y’all were our friends.”
He concluded with a shot at Hispanic voters. “Now you got to worry about the little Black ladies who sitting there looking out the window calling the people on you,” he joked. “Hey ICE. They going to be singing the song. ‘Ice Ice Baby.’”
Lizzo responded to retired NFL player/provocative online presence Antonio Brown trolling her over alleged Ozempic use with a classy clapback.
The “Truth Hurts” hitmaker recently shared a video of her writing a heartfelt note, sending love “to everyone in the world” in the wake of the 2024 election. Brown reposted the video with a jab at Lizzo.
“She hold the pen like she hold her ozempic shot…..” he wrote.
Lizzo has been on a personal transformation journey and has shed the pounds in the process, sparking rumors she’s taking the controversial Type 2 diabetes drug Ozempic for weight loss. She denied the gossip in a video posted in September, reacting to comments about the drug.
“When you finally get Ozempic allegations after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit,” Lizzo wrote on a video.
Meanwhile, she laughed off the rumors by dressing up for Halloween as a fictional weight loss drug called “Lizzo,” which was intended to mimic Ozempic. The costume included the tagline: “Need Self Love? Try Lizzo! Lose Guilt. Gain Confidence.”
Lizzo is taking some time away from the limelight but promised to return with music inspired by her transformational journey.
“2021 me would be soooo proud of 2024 me,” she wrote in September. “And I’m NOT only talking about my body if yall only KNEWWWW what I’ve done for my mental & emotional health in the last year. Wheeeew don’t worry imma write a album about it.”
Young Thug fans are patiently waiting for the rapper’s musical comeback following his release from jail, and a new video featuring Future, Travis Scott and Lil Baby with Thugger in the studio has social media in a frenzy.
On Monday night (November 11), a video surfaced online featuring Thug and some of his most frequent collaborators. Although it’s unclear when the clip was recorded, some fans claimed the iPhone 14 appears in the footage.
The phone, the first to feature a Dynamic Island, was released in September 2022, months after Young Thug was locked up following his arrest in May 2022.
Days after his release, Young Thug hinted at a Lil Baby collab. “Wham let’s drop one on these rats Peter,” he tweeted. Baby responded via Instagram Stories, writing, “#whatwhamsaysgoes,” and billboards with the phrase began appearing across the country.
Young Thug also appeared to be cooking up something with T.I., who shared a video of them in the studio with Thugger declaring, “I’m back, Jack.”
However, days later, a tweet-and-delete from Thug caused a stir on social media. Young Thug took aim at Gunna in a shocking twist.
Gunna, stop acting like we’re friends on the internet,” Thug tweeted. “I don’t know u my guy.”
Gunna has faced allegations that he snitched on Young Thug since making a plea deal in the YSL trial. While Thug was rumored to be supportive of Gunna and even sought permission to work with him as a condition of his release, the post suggested otherwise.
As for New Young Thug music, it remains uncertain if the studio video was recorded recently. An alleged “First Day Out” track has surfaced online, with many fans sharing it, but it appears to be AI.
Tyler, The Creator is opening up to fans about the intricacies of his latest album, CHROMAKOPIA, as it continues to dominate with impressive commercial sales numbers.
On Sunday (November 10), the Los Angeles native enlisted his Twitter following for an exclusive question-and-answer session, soliciting their late-stage revelations about the album now that listeners have had nearly three weeks to sit with the project. Coincidentally enough, Tyler’s CHROMAKOPIA earned yet another appearance on top of the Billboard 200 chart after the 160,000-plus units it sold during it’s second week of tracking helped extend its run at the No. 1 spot for another consecutive week.
“from CHROMAKOPIA, did anything grow on you, catch your ear after some time, took a while to click?” Tyler, The Creator questioned in his initial tweet.
from CHROMAKOPIA, did anything grow on you, catch your ear after some time, took a while to click?
As responses poured in from fans, Tyler proceeded to engage with several users, in turn revealing multiple golden nuggets about the album while praising a host of his collaborators. In response to a fan celebrating his decision to work with English singer-songwriter Lola Young, Tyler also gave flowers to Willow Smith, who he said was an “alien” and Doechii, who he said makes him “nervous” due to her talent.
“Lola voice is has so much power to it,” he wrote. “Willow is an alien that girl is f###ing special….and doe…she really has me nervous shes so good, im very lucky they’re all apart of this album man.”
Following a fan’s emotional response to his mom’s appearance on the album cut “I Hope You Find Your Way Home” Tyler revealed the specific portion of the song the user had remarked about was inspired by the limited edition collection he designed for Louis Vuitton in collaboration with Pharrell Williams.
“That was a real clip from a call when the my LV collection got announced,” he wrote. “No one knew about it, i kept it tight lipped, so she was legit shocked.”
Tyler, The Creator also quipped, “I had no choice, it needed her,” in a reply to a fan thanking him for snagging Solange Knowles to provide her angelic vocal stylings for the album.
In addition to confirming Santigold also worked on the album, Tyler also roasted haters who don’t like his “Sticky” banger featuring GloRilla, Sexyy Red and Lil Wayne and briefly touched on the double meaning of his lead single “NOID.”

A New York judge sentenced Lil Zay Osama to 14 months in prison for possession of a machine gun on November 7. The Chicago-bred rapper reacted to rumors claiming he received a 30-year prison sentence on Monday (November 11).
“Stop believing everything u hear or see on the internet!” he wrote on Instagram Stories. “You really think u can get 30 years for a switch? Hell no!! idc what state [you] in facts but switches is dangerous and carry 3 or 4 years maybe less depending on ya background but they becoming a problem in a lot of cities so it might be worse for you different strokes for different folks. I caught a blessing don’t look at my situation and think you need a switch cause it can end bad for you.”
He added, “I just wanna thank god, my kids, my family and my label for standing behind this whole way.”
Lil Zay Osama, whose real name is Isaiah Dukes, pleaded guilty to the gun charge in May. Judge Nina Morrison ordered him to pay a $10,000 fine in addition to his prison time.
“The defendant knowingly carried a fully automatic weapon, a pistol with a switch device whose only purpose is to make a dangerous weapon all the more deadly – and then carelessly left that gun in the back of a rideshare,” U.S. Attorney Breon Peace said. “[This] sentence serves as a warning that those who possess illegal guns, particularly with switches that convert those guns into machine guns, will be held accountable for their actions and for the danger they pose to our community.”
Lil Zay Osama was arrested after leaving his gun in a rideshare vehicle following a ride from Manhattan to Queens in 2022. A grand jury indicted him over the incident in January 2024.
Diddy’s legal woes hurt the market for his Los Angeles mansion. According to PEOPLE, the Hip-Hop mogul’s listing received no offers over the past two months.
“The property itself is stunning, yet it’s clear that the criminal allegations has impacted buyer interest,” a real estate source told PEOPLE. “There has been some overseas curiosity from high-profile international buyers, but no serious offers. “It’s already a challenging market with buyers being more cautious in general. Coupled with the property’s high profile and recent news, it’s making it a tougher sell.”
Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, sought $61.5 million for his home in Holmby Hills. Homeland Security raided the mansion in March.
Authorities arrested Diddy for sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution in September. He pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Diddy remains in a New York jail after judges refused to grant him bail. He filed a renewed motion for bond on Friday (November 8).
“Mr. Combs proposes an updated bail package that is far more robust than the previous proposal,” his lawyers wrote.
The proposal included a $50 million bond, 24/7 monitoring, visitor restrictions and no internet or phone access except for meetings with Diddy’s legal team. Diddy and his family also offered to surrender their passports to secure his release.
Diddy’s trial is scheduled for May 2025. Judge Arun Subramanian denied Diddy’s request for an expansive gag order on November 8.
“Not all alleged victims will be participants in this case, and a blanket restriction on their speech will silence individuals who may never have anything to do with the proceedings here,” the judge said. “And in any event, less restrictive alternatives must be considered and rejected before imposing a restraint on speech.”
Diddy faces up to life in prison if convicted. His sex trafficking charge carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years behind bars.
Polo G is pledging his love and loyalty to his incarcerated brother Trench Baby, whose fate hangs in the distance amid his felony charges of murder.
On Sunday (November 10), the “Heartless” rapper shared a message on his Instagram Story dedicated to Trench Baby, who has been in custody at Los Angeles Men’s Central Jail since he was arrested in November 2023 after being charged with felony murder in connection to the fatal shooting of 20-year-old Dashaun Berry. In addition to petitioning for his brother’s freedom in the post, Polo G outlined the complex relationship they share and pledged his commitment to his role as Trench Baby’s protector no matter the circumstances.
“Free trench just cause I ain’t said it in a while I love Lil bro even when we don’t see eye to eye,” Polo G wrote in the message. “I’m his big brother I always have and always will play a protective role no matter how much he feel like he can hold his own. that’s not real blood and can’t s### change that but us.”
Both Polo G and Trench Baby were arrested in August last year after cops raided Capalot’s Los Angeles area mansion in connection to a robbery, which his brother was allegedly involved in. At the time of the raid, Trench Baby posted a chaotic video of authorities surrounding the otherwise idyllic mansion.
“Us Marshall’s Got My House Surrounded Gang Wtf?” Trench Baby wrote on Instagram Stories.
Both Polo G and Trench Baby were booked by both the LAPD and the Burbank Police Department on a host of charges, including a gun charge Capalot was hit with over possession of a short-barreled rifle, and robbery and drug charges his brother faced. More specifically, Burbank Police Department arrested the brothers over an incident from April 2023, in which they were charged with kidnapping, robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.
Their mother Stacia Mac informed fans of their release from jail in an Instagram Stories post on Thursday (August 24). The two posted $100,000 bail.
Polo G is also facing yet another gun charge after he was arrested for felony possession of a concealed weapon in San Fernando Valley, California last month on October 19. Fortunately, there is some positive news surrounding the Chicago-bred rapper amid he and his brother’s legal issues. It appears as though he’s back to floating on features as Meek Mill shared a rousing snippet of he and Polo G with his Instagram followers on November 10.
Check out Polo G’s full message in the post above, along with the post below to hear his new snippet with Meek Mill.

The baby will be Machine Gun Kelly and Fox’s first child together. MGK has one daughter with his ex-girlfriend Emma Cannon. Fox shares three children with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green.
MGK and Fox previously suffered a miscarriage in their relationship. Fox disclosed the loss in her poetry book Pretty Boys Are Poisonous.
“I’ve never been through anything like that in my life,” she told Good Morning America. “I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us. And it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately, and together and apart, and together and apart, and together and apart, trying to navigate, ‘What does this mean? Why did this happen?’”
MGK addressed the miscarriage on his 2024 single “Don’t Let Me Go.”
“How can I live with the fact that my hand wasn’t on her stomach when we lost the baby/I don’t got no one to turn to ‘cause everyone’s dead in my life that was trying to raise me,” he said.
MGK and Fox’s relationship was the subject of breakup rumors following their 2022 engagement. Fox denied claims of infidelity against MGK, but their romance hit a bump in the road when they “paused” their engagement. Earlier this year, Fox claimed she would always be connected to him on the Call Her Daddy podcast. ,
Tallahassee, Florida celebrated its hometown hero T-Pain by renaming a street in his honor and presenting him with the Key to the City. The influential artist capped off an eventful day with a concert at the Adderley Amphitheater at Cascades Park on Sunday (November 10).
“Everything that went on today was just a dream come true,” he said.
Tallahassee Mayor John Dailey praised T-Pain for leaving an indelible mark on the city.
“He has had a tremendous impact on Tallahassee,” Dailey said. “He’s had a tremendous impact on the kids in Tallahassee, and he’s a great role model and a great example. I’m just proud to celebrate with him today.”
T-Pain signed autographs for kids who gathered to watch his Key to the City presentation. He was grateful to experience the outpouring of support in his hometown.
“Nobody really expects this,” he told theTallahassee Democrat. “The people that usually are real forward about it [say], ‘I’m gonna be successful. I’m gonna do this I’m gonna do that.’ Usually, it’s them forcing their way in and it’s short-lived. A natural success is much better than a forced entry.”
T-Pain’s parents beamed with pride as they reflected on his accomplishments.
“I’m extremely proud of my son at this moment because of the fact that he’s worked so hard to become the gentleman and the person that he is today in the music industry,” his mother, Aliyah Najm, said. “He had some ups and downs, but he made it through. Now he’s being recognized for it.”
His father, Shaheed Najm, added, “It means a lot to me to see what we started come full circle. We’re very proud and appreciative of what the city is doing today.”

NFL Gameday Morning airs Sundays at 9 a.m. ET on the NFL Network. Rich Eisen hosts the show alongside analysts Kurt Warner, Gerald McCoy and Steve Mariucci.
Lil Wayne joined NFL Gameday Morning after complaining about getting snubbed for the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show. The New Orleans native and many of his fans believed he deserved to headline the event since the Super Bowl is being held in his hometown.
“I blame myself for not being mentally prepared for a letdown and for just automatically mentally putting myself in that position; like somebody told me that was my position,” Lil Wayne said on social media. “But I thought there was nothing better than that. That stage and that platform in my city. So that hurt. It hurt a whole lot.”
The NFL and Roc Nation selected Kendrick Lamar to perform at the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show, leaving Lil Wayne devastated.
“It broke me and I’m just trying to put me back together,” he said. “But my God, have you all helped me. Thanks to all my peers, my friends, my family, my homies on the sports television and everybody repping me … I feel like I let all of y’all down by not getting that opportunity, but I’m working on me and I’m working. So, thank you.”
Lil Wayne bemoaned the “snub” again at his Lil WeezyAna Fest.
“I said to myself, ‘I wanna be on stage for the Super Bowl one day in front of my mom,’” he told the crowd. “And I worked my ass off to get that spot, that position. It was ripped away from me. But this m############ moment right here? They can’t take that. They can’t take that from me.”
Super Bowl LIX will be played at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on February 9, 2025.
