The Alchemist & Havoc Confirm They’re Working On New Mobb Deep Album

Mobb Deep fans won’t have to go without new music much longer after The Alchemist and Havoc have revealed that they are working on a new project.

In a series of Instagram posts the dynamic collaborators both shared, the pair teased their work on new music, which they indicate is set to arrive soon. In one of the clips, Havoc can be seen vibing out in Alchemist’s home studio as the renowned producer allows his MPC to do its thing and pump out a spooky Griselda-type beat through the thunderous studio monitors.

In another clip, Havoc speaks directly to the camera and confirms the arrival of the new Mobb Deep LP while also paying homage to late rap legend and group member Prodigy.

“You already know where I’m at ALC Studios new Mobb Deep coming soon RIP Prodigy,” Havoc said in the clip. “Y’all see Al in the background you already know what it is. Mobb Deep coming soon baby. Infinite!”

Havoc joining forces with The Alchemist for the upcoming Mobb Deep album is particularly exciting, given their collaborative history. Mobb Deep first joined forces with Alchemist in the late 1990s, when the legendary Hip-Hop duo was seeking fresh production talent to complement their gritty sound.

Prodigy initially discovered The Alchemist’s work through mutual connections in the New York and was quickly impressed by his unique production style and sample-heavy beats. Soon after their connection, Mobb Deep invited The Alchemist to contribute to their 1999 album Murda Muzik. The Alchemist also produced other notable songs for the group such as “The Realest” and “Thug Muzik.”

There’s also the added context that this will be the first official Mobb Deep project in at least 10 years. Mobb Deep’s final album, The Infamous Mobb Deep, was released in 2014, marking the duo’s eighth studio effort. The double album featured guest appearances from artists such as Nas, The LOX, and Busta Rhymes, among others. The production was handled by a mix of established and up-and-coming producers, including Havoc, The Alchemist and Illm!nd.

Prodigy died in 2017 shortly after being hospitalized for complications related to sickle cell, leaving a remarkable void within the industry and culture at large.

Chinx’s Widow “Heartbroken” After Murder Suspect Pleads Guilty To Lesser Charge

Quincy Homere, one of the two men charged with Chinx’s 2015 murder, pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter in New York on Monday (July 15). Homere will be sentenced on August 12.

The reduced charge upset Chinx’s widow Janelli Caceres-Pickens. She called Homere a “monster” and said his fate was “in God’s hands.”

“We fought hard for a harder charge which should be murder 2 cause in the state of NY, murder 1 is only given in the cases of government officials being murdered,” she commented on Instagram. “He wouldn’t take the murder 2 which would of ended in a lengthy trial that we were obviously ready for!! We are not happy with this charge but one can not dodge whatever GOD has planned for him!”

She continued, “Manslaughter has me livid n heartbroken. He deserves to spend his life in jail … but we will be there August 12 to hear him get sentenced … CHINX WILL FOREVER LIVE ON THRU IS ALL!! Thank you to all that has continued to support us thru this journey!”

Chinx was killed in a 2015 drive-by shooting in Queens, New York. Homere and Jamar Hill were arrested for the late rapper’s murder in 2017.

Both suspects were charged with second-degree murder, second-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Homere and Hill initially pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Homere changed his mind and accepted a plea deal to avoid a murder conviction. He faces up to 23 years in prison for manslaughter. Chinx’s family sought the maximum sentence.

Chinx, whose real name was Lionel Pickens, is survived by his widow and their three children. His widow and their family planned to attend Homere’s sentencing to make their presence felt in court. She said Homere’s punishment would not heal the family’s wounds, but it would provide much-needed closure.

Method Man Reveals Why Rare Wu-Tang Clan Album Is “Uncomfortable Subject” For Group

Wu-Tang Clan’s Once Upon a Time in Shaolin album remained a sore subject for the group’s members. Method Man discussed his issues with the project in an interview with Vanity Fair. The legendary rapper admitted he and his fellow Wu-Tang members do their best to avoid the topic.

“I thought it was some circus spectacle,” Method Man said. “I never really spoke to RZA about it; it’s an uncomfortable subject to most of the guys, so we don’t really discuss it too much.”

Once Upon a Time in Shaolin was spearheaded by Wu-Tang affiliate Cilvaringz. The album garnered significant publicity since only one copy was created. It was auctioned off for $2 million in 2015, making it the world’s most expensive album.

The infamous “Pharma Bro” Martin Shkreli bought Wu-Tang’s rare album. Terms of the deal prevented the project’s owner from releasing it to the public until October 2103. The U.S. government seized Once Upon a Time In Shaolin after Shkreli was convicted of securities fraud.

PleasrDAO purchased Once Upon a Time in Shaolin for $4 million in 2021. The new owner started selling access to the album as a $1 NFT in June. Fans did not receive the album in full as they were forced to settle for a sampler created by Cilvaringz. PleasrDAO claimed each $1 purchase would shave 88 seconds off the album’s 2103 release date.

Wu-Tang fans might balk at paying anything for the album because the Clan did not knowingly create Once Upon a Time in Shaolin. Method Man and other members viewed the project as a glorified compilation concocted by Cilvaringz, not a legitimate Wu-Tang album.

“The process of the thing being made was never told to us,” Method Man explained to Vanity Fair. “We were never told what it was. It was never supposed to be a Wu-Tang album. We were recording and being paid to do a certain amount of records by a guy whose name I don’t want to mention.”

He continued, “[Cilvaringz] took all these verses—some of them were old verses—and put them altogether into a compilation of Wu-Tang songs and marketed it as a Wu-Tang album, and a single copy of a Wu-Tang album. We all had a problem with it because that’s not how it was described to us.”

PleasrDAO filed a lawsuit against Shkreli over Once Upon a Time in Shaolin in June. PleasrDAO accused the album’s former owner of violating a forfeiture order by retaining copies of the music.

Young Thug Trial Assigned To New Judge Following Recusal Ruling

Judge Shukura Ingram was appointed as the new judge in Young Thug’s Georgia RICO case following the recusal of Judge Ural Glanville. Ingram started serving on the Fulton County Superior Court in 2018.

Ingram will be tasked with restoring order to Young Thug’s messy trial. Glanville, the original judge presiding over the case, was forced to exit the trial due to impartiality concerns.

Fireworks erupted in court when Young Thug’s lawyer Brian Steel questioned Glanville about a secret meeting between the judge, prosecutors and a key witness in June. The defense believed Glanville and prosecutors coerced Kenneth “Lil Woody” Copeland into testifying in the trial.

Glanville demanded to know the source of Steel’s information. Steel refused to reveal his informant. Glanville held Steel in contempt and sentenced the attorney to 20 days in jail. The Georgia Supreme Court granted bond to Steel, allowing him to avoid jail time.

Defense attorneys sought Glanville’s recusal over his courtroom shenanigans. Glanville initially refused to recuse himself before allowing another judge to settle the matter. Judge Rachel Krause ordered Glanville’s recusal on Monday (July 15).

“This Court has no doubt that Judge Glanville can and would continue presiding fairly over this matter if the recusal motions were denied, but the ‘necessity of preserving the public’s confidence in the judicial system’ weighs in favor of excusing Judge Glanville from further handling of this case,” Krause determined.

Young Thug’s lawyer was satisfied with the ruling.

“Jeffery Williams is innocent of the charges brought in this indictment, and to clear his name he sought a speedy trial, one in which he would receive the constitutional guarantees of a fair trial with an impartial judge presiding and ethical prosecutors following the law,” Steel said. “Sadly, Judge Glanville and the prosecutors have run afoul of their duties under the law. Mr. Williams is grateful that the reviewing court agreed with him and entered the order recusing and disqualifying Judge Glanville from presiding over Mr. Williams’ case. We look forward to proceeding with a trial judge who will fairly and faithfully follow the law.”

Legal experts believe Young Thug’s trial will likely end in a mistrial. A potential retrial would require new jurors. Jury selection for Young Thug’s trial lasted more than 10 months.

Irv Gotti Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Woman During “Abusive Relationship”

A woman identified as Jane Doe sued Irv Gotti for sexual assault, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress in Florida on July 11. According to court documents obtained by the Miami New Times, Doe accused Gotti of raping and abusing her during their two-year relationship.

Doe said she met Gotti at a poker tournament in the summer of 2020. The Murder Inc. Records co-founder invited the plaintiff to join him on vacation to Saint Martin. She accepted his offer, which allegedly resulted in Gotti taking advantage of her.

“After flying her to Saint Martin, Gotti coerced Plaintiff into having sex with him,” her lawyer wrote. “Gotti specifically threatened Plaintiff that he would send her home if she did not comply with his demands. Accordingly, and due to his power and influence in the music world, she complied.”

Doe and Gotti began a relationship after the trip to Saint Martin. The plaintiff claimed she “suffered constant abuse at Gotti’s hands.” Throughout their time together, Gotti allegedly forced Doe to perform “unwanted sexual acts and often berated and scolded her.” Doe’s lawsuit cited incidents in Atlanta and Miami.

“Notably, in January 2022, Gotti flew Plaintiff out to Miami, and the two stayed at the Four Seasons hotel,” Doe’s attorney wrote. “There, Gotti forced her to perform oral sex on him in an elevator. Later in the summer of that same year, he flew her out to Atlanta, and he again forced her to perform oral sex on him in an Uber. Following this event, the relationship ended.”

The lawyer added, “As a result of this sexually abusive relationship, Plaintiff has suffered severe emotional and psychological harm for which she had to be committed to a psychiatric ward. These injuries continue and affect Plaintiff to this day.”

Doe demanded a trial by jury. She sought undisclosed damages for pain and suffering, severe emotional anguish, loss of dignity and more.

The Richest And Most Famous Music Celebrities of 2023–2024

The music industry is diverse and rapidly changing. Some artists that lead the charts this year weren’t famous several years ago. Some, on the contrary, will never be forgotten, even if they don’t release new music often (or at all).

If you’re curious about the most famous and richest male and female music celebrities, read further. This article offers ten massively talented names to follow.

Most iconic music celebrities of 2023

It’s quite difficult to distinguish only five famous music celebrities, as there are so many of them in different genres with various and yet always impressive achievements. That’s why this list contains the names of those who were the most successful in 2023.

Taylor Swift

In 2023, Taylor’s Eras Tour set records for being the highest-grossing tour ever by a female artist—all tickets were sold out. This was followed by the success of her concert movie, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour,” that came out in October and quickly became the highest-grossing concert film ever.

Just two weeks later, Taylor Swift released a new version of her 2014 album “1989,” called “1989 (Taylor’s Version).” It immediately shot to the top of the charts, selling over a million copies in the first week alone. What’s more, seven songs from the album made it into the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. As you can see, Taylor Swift had an incredible year, joining the ranks of only a few legendary artists who have had such a huge impact in a single year.

SZA

Technically, SZAs second album, “SOS,” was released in December 2022. However, in 2023, she dropped singles like “Snooze” and “Kill Bill,” which became her first big hit, reaching the top of the charts. The artist’s earlier tracks like “Smoking on My Ex Pack” and “Shirt” also remained popular throughout the year.

“SOS” album demonstrates SZA’s unique style characterized by smooth vocals with electro-blues sounds that mix soul, R&B, and hip-hop. In February, the artists started her SOS Tour that featured songs from the new album along with some from the first one, “Ctrl”. Tickets sold out so fast that the artist’s team decided to add more shows and extend the tour into the fall.

Luke Combs

Luke Combs, a popular country music star from North Carolina, released his fourth album, “Gettin’ Old,” in March and then went on tour to support the album until October. His cover of Tracy Chapman’s song “Fast Car” from 1987 became the biggest hit from this album, reaching number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and number one on the country charts.

However, “Fast Car” wasn’t Luke Combs’s only hit from the album—his song “Love You Anyway,” dedicated to his wife, also reached number one on the country charts.

NewJeans

NewJeans is a new K-pop group that debuted in 2022 and has quickly become a big deal in the music world. Their style mixes sunny vibes, R&B, and electropop with colorful outfits and charming smiles. This formula proved to be a hit as NewJeans won the “Rookie of the Year” award at the Korean Music Awards, along with many other honors.

In August 2023, they became the first female K-pop group to perform at Lollapalooza Festival in the US. Later, in November of the same year, they performed at the Billboard Music Awards. What’s notable about NewJeans is that they aren’t just music influencers—fans and designers also admire their fashion style and draw inspiration from it.

Doja Cat

2023 was a big year for Doja Cat. In September, she released her fourth album called “Scarlet,” which quickly reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The main song from the album, “Paint the Town Red,” became Doja Cat’s first solo hit. It reached number one in both the US and the UK and was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2024.

Andrew Lloyd Webber

Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, born in London in 1948 has a net worth of $1.3 billion. He earned most of it for his amazing musicals that became huge hits, running for more than ten years on Broadway and in London’s West End. However, a fair share of his income also comes from smart investments.

To sum up

No matter how dynamic and competitive the music industry is, there are some names that remain iconic for years and decades. So, most likely, the names from these two lists will stay relevant and well-known for their impact on the music industry even in 2030.

Soulja Boy “Disappointed” With Drake After Kendrick Lamar Battle; Claims Peers Deserted Him

Soulja Boy is sharing his thoughts on Drake following the battle with Kendrick Lamar.

On Tuesday morning (July 16), the “Crank That” hitmaker took to social media with his perspective on the beef. According to Soulja Boy, Drake’s collaborators deserted him in the heat of the battle, claiming none of them came forward to back him.

“You disappointed me @Drake,” Soulja Boy wrote on X (Twitter). “Doing all them weak ass songs with them n##### look where It got u none of them n##### you collab with or took on tour had yo back.”

X/Soulja Boy

During the battle, the OVO founder faced multiple attacks from previous collaborators. Among the shots from K. Dot, Drake also took heat from Rick Ross, The Weeknd, Kanye West and others. Additionally, J. Cole famously backed out of the beef, apologizing after dissing Kendrick Lamar.

While Soulja Boy remained neutral during the beef, he went back and forth with Drake’s nemesis, Metro Boomin. He also exchanged words with Drizzy’s frequent collaborator and Her Loss co-creator, 21 Savage.

Nonetheless, one of Soula Boy’s most viral moments stems from his comments about Drake during an appearance on The Breakfast Club in 2019. Draco blew it when told Drake was the biggest rapper in the world before accusing him of biting his flow.

“Draaaaaaake? Draaaaaaaaake?” he yelled. “The n#### that got bodied by Pusha T? The n#### that hiding his kid from the world, but his world want to hide from the kid? Aubrey Graham in a wheelchair? Draaaaaake? Y’all n##### better stop playing with me, man. Y’all talking about the lightskin n#### from Degrassi?”

Bhad Bhabie Flexes $57M OnlyFans Earnings As Max Series Uncovers Teen Trauma

Bhad Bhabie has revealed that her financial situation is thriving despite the fact that she may be navigating a tumultuous and abusive relationship.

According to a recent report from TMZ, Bhad Bhabie, whose real name is Danielle Bregoli, has disclosed her staggering earnings from OnlyFans, surpassing an impressive $57 million since 2021. Sources confirm the authenticity of these earnings, with receipts backing up the claims.

Bhad Bhabie previously claimed she earned $1 million in her first six hours on the platform—which is ironic, considering she joined OnlyFans six days after she turned 18 in 2021. It’s also worth noting that a significant portion of her income comes from direct messages rather than subscriptions, which illustrates connection with her fans’, who clearly value a personal connection with her.

This financial revelation comes on the heels of Bhad Bhabie publicizing an alleged domestic dispute with her ex-boyfriend and father of her child, LeVaughn. On July 7, the internet personality posted a surveillance video allegedly featuring an altercation with LeVaughn. The clip was captured at 4:30 a.m. local time on June 30 and shows Bhad Bhabie being thrown to the ground. She also shared images of her injuries, revealing a badly bruised eye and abrasions on her face.

The news of Bhad Bhabie snatching millions from the explicit social media content platform has also been swallowed into the saga of Max’s documentary series “Teen Torture Inc.,” which sheds light on her harrowing experience at the Turn-About Ranch rehabilitation center. The series, currently #4 on Max’s Top 10 U.S. shows, delves into the emotional scars she carries from her time there. Bhad Bhabie recently shared an Instagram post featuring a trailer from the series which captures her reflecting on her experience at the center.

“I can speak for myself when I say that I’m still dealing with the effects from my time spent at the camp I was sent to and kept at for six months at 13 years old,” she wrote. “I know there’s also thousands of other people who have suffered abuse mentally and physically at these places that are still suffering.

“These places aren’t a solution to fix your kid. Please do not send them there, they will come back with more trauma. If you don’t believe me, go watch Teen Torture Inc now on @StreamOnMax. Also, go follow and support organizations like @ICAPANetwork that are working hard to help get these places shut down.”

Cardi B Addresses Pregnancy Rumors Amid Weeks Of Speculation

Cardi B has been plagued with pregnancy rumors for the past several weeks as fans claimed the NYC rapper appeared to be sporting a baby bump.

However, she has finally addressed the buzzing speculation, but her response did little to confirm or deny the rumors.

On Monday evening (July 15), Cardi B got into a back-and-forth with her fans, who debated when her sophomore album would drop. One fan jokingly asked Cardi about the swirling pregnancy rumors amid the drama.

“Hey Bardi are you perganant,” they wrote. Cardi took the opportunity to respond, firing back with, “No I’m not perganant.”

X/Cardi B

While some took it as confirmation the NYC rapper confirmed she is expecting her third child, others were not so easily persuaded.

“Cardi B ends pregnancy rumors?” one fan suggested. “Ohh bardigang we r getting that tourrr. Even if she was pregnant, it’s her business if she wants a child with her OWN body she’s still human so be kind everyone.”

“Lol no friend,” someone replied. “That hottie said ‘perganant’ Cardi ain’t no perganant.”

Another fan responded to Cardi B with “’perganant’ ≠ pregnant.”

Cardi B played into the pregnancy rumors while jetting off on a recent trip to Paris. She posted a series of images of herself boarding a plane with a giant Chanel covering her stomach. She also donned an oversized Balenciaga jersey.

“B/tch I’m a motha,” she captioned her post.

Other photos from her trip to Paris to celebrate Kulture’s sixth birthday also added to the growing baby talk.

Earlier this month, fans were convinced they spotted a baby bump while celebrating the Fourth of July holiday in The Bronx.

Lil Reese Arrested For Rape Following Alleged Assault At L.A. Hotel

Lil Reese is reportedly facing rape allegations following his arrest over the weekend first revealed by Boosie Badazz.

Chicago rapper was arrested on rape charges after an unidentified woman accused Lil Reese of forcing himself on her at a Los Angeles hotel, per TMZ. According to the outlet, Reese was on a dinner date with the woman before the alleged assault.

After going back to a hotel in Downtown L.A., Reese insisted they have sex, but the woman refused. The report also states that Reese forced himself on her despite her refusal to have sex.

The woman is said to have gone down to the lobby immediately after the alleged assault, where she called the police at around 3:30 a.m. local time on Sunday (July 14).

Officers arrested Lil Reese at the hotel on suspicion of sexual assault and rape. He was reportedly later released on a $100K bond.

While Boosie shared his video before reports of the rape allegation, he said he heard a woman was accused of lying about Lil Reese, leading to his arrest.

“Some woman said he lied on him or some s###,” Boosie continued. “Any of Reese’s people, the Grim Reaper people, they just took him to jail downtown L.A. and put him in a car. Y’all need to tap in with your people.”

Joe Biden Addresses Donald Trump’s “Black Jobs” Remarks: “He Means Menial Labor”

Joe Biden is addressing Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign, questioning his support from the Hip-Hop community and his statements about “Black jobs.”

The POTUS addressed his political rival during an interview with Speedy Morman for Complex. Morman asked Biden about Trump’s widely ridiculed controversial remarks from last month’s presidential debate.

“A Black job is the same as a white job, the same as any other job,” Biden replied. “But you know what he means by Black jobs. He means menial labor. That’s what he thinks. He thinks he’s gonna sell golden shoes or sneakers. … There’s a reason why we are the most advanced nation in the world, the most progressive nation in the world, and why our economy is the biggest. We’re the only nation in the world that isn’t xenophobic.”

Joe Biden On Donald Trump Courting Rappers

Biden also spoke on Trump courting the support of rappers ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

“Well, I’m not sure he has that allegiance, number one,” Biden said. “Number two, if you look at his record in terms of African Americans and minorities, it’s abysmal the way he handles everything. The answer is, I don’t know if he has hip-hop artists that are supportive of him.”

Biden continued, “But I know that I got started in politics because of the African American community. When I was a kid, I was a young man in high school and college, my state was segregated by law. I got involved in the movement. And the reason I got elected when I was 29 from a very modest background was because of the Black community.”

Both Donald Trump and Joe Biden have been backed by rappers during their election campaigns. Fat Joe and E-40 rallied for the President in North Carolina last month, while Icewear Vezzo and Peezy popped out for Trump in Detroit.

Cardi B Accused Of Shading Megan Thee Stallion Over Album Sales

Cardi B attempted to clarify some details about her upcoming album but found herself accused of shading her friend and collaborator Megan Thee Stallion.

Earlier this week, Cardi B teased an announcement about the long-awaited follow-up to 2017’s “Invasion of Privacy.” However, it appears some fans deduced that the album, which Cardi promised to drop in 2024, won’t arrive until much later in the year.

One fan suggested, “An album in autumn/winter will have MUCH LESS chances of getting viral hits and will earn much less streams and sales.”

However, Cardi B caught wind of the post and fired back, insisting artists’ sales have been low this summer generally.

“Please tell me which album been doing good this summer? Since you got your degree and act like you f##### know everything,” she replied.

However, many fans took it as a shot at Megan Thee Stallion, who released her self-titled LP last month, and accused Cardi B of shading her friend.

“Shady wat b####?” she clapped back at one person. “It’s the f##### truth albums are not performing as good in the summer as the ones dropping in the other seasons …The music traffic is insane, there’s thousands of songs releasing and you can’t barely get placement for more then 2 weeks because of so many dropping at a time is STATISTICS… unbend your wrist and think wit your brain not everything is messy and shady weird ass.”

In other since-deleted posts, Cardi B asserted that she isn’t a seasonal artist and has made hits year-round. She also threatened to delay the album until the summer of 2025 and followed up with a Twitter Spaces chat.

“The summer is almost done. I’m not going to give my fans two weeks of pre-orders. I told my label … when I drop my album, everything better be f###### right, from the merch to other things coming out,” Cardi B said. “I didn’t release my first album in the summertime. It was April 6 b####; you were wearing coats in muthafuckin New York on April 6.”

She added, “Ok, so you know what? Maybe I should go with what you say; I’m a just drop next summer because you said so.”

Despite her clarification, some fans still assumed Cardi B dissed Megan Thee Stallion. Check out some of the reactions below.

French Montana Slammed By Outraged Fans After Bringing Andrew Tate Onstage In Romania

French Montana is catching heat after bringing out alleged human trafficker Andrew Tate onstage with him.

The problematic internet personality joined Montana as his special guest at the Beach, Please Festival in Romania.

“Make some f#####’ noise for my brother Andrew Tate,” French Montana said, welcoming his guest to the stage. “We did a podcast. I’m the first rapper to do a podcast with my brother, one time. But Romania loves you, my brother!”

Tate then instructed the crowd to chant his catchphrase, “Escape The Matrix!”

The “Unforgettable” hitmaker shared a clip on Instagram of Tate joining him onstage.

“First rapper to do a stream with top G and the first to bring Top G out on stage!” Montana captioned his post. “ROMANIA WE LOVE YOU S/O Andrew Tate + Tristan Tate.”

However, French Montana fans were appalled at his associate with Andrew Tate, who is in Romania awaiting trial on human trafficking charges. He also faces charges of rape and creating an organized crime group with his brother Tristan.

The siblings reportedly operated a crime ring that spanned the Atlantic, stretching from Romania to the United Kingdom and the United States.

“French, why would you bring the Tate brothers on stage? Why would you affiliate? They are seriously shady guys. I am disapponted,” one fan wrote in Montana’s comment section.

“DISGUSTING  SUCH A LOW MOVE bringing him on stage,” added another, while a third claimed, “No one in Romania loves tate.”

However, her appearance didn’t go down well online, with social media users blasting her for speaking at the RNC and reversing her take after criticizing Trump during his 2016 campaign.

Amber Rose was trending No. 1 on X (Twitter), where many users shared a clip of Joseline Hernandez calling Rose out on College Hill: Celebrity Edition. In the heated clip, Hernandez accused Rose of wanting to be “a white girl.”

Amber Rose’s mom is a Black woman of Black Cape Verdean and Scottish descent, and her father is white.

“Joseline was right about Amber Rose,” one person wrote alongside the College Hil clip.

Additionally, a clip of Joy Reid discussing Amber Rose on CNN following the RNC was also making the rounds. Reid highlights the problem of having a “Racially ambiguous woman” whose whole career was based in Black culture “to try to recruit young people of color.”  “She won’t even claim the culture that brought her to the table,” Reid added.

“Whew, Joy Reid Read tf outta Amber Rose,” the user wrote, sharing the clip.

During her RNC speech, Amber Rose denied allegations that 34-times convicted felon Donald Trump is racist. “I realized Donald Trump and his supporters don’t care if you’re black, white, gay, or straight, it’s all love,” she continued.

“The best chance we have to give our babies a better life is to elect Donald Trump,” she claimed in her speech.

Amber Rose Speech At RNC: Denies Donald Trump And His Supporters Are Racists

Amber Rose’s political transformation took center stage Monday (July 15) at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, where the model and entrepreneur declared her support for former President Donald Trump.

This marks a striking shift for Rose, who previously criticized Donald Trump during his 2016 presidential run.

But on Monday, Amber Rose endorsed Trump for the 2024 election, stating her reasons passionately.

“My whole world revolves around providing for my children, keeping them safe, and giving them an opportunity for a better life,” Amber Rose said. “That’s something that unites all American parents, whether we’re Republicans, Democrats, conservatives, or liberals. We all want a better country for our children.

“I’m here tonight to tell you, no matter your political background, that the best chance we have to give our babies a better life is to elect Donald Trump, President of the United States,” she added.

Amber Rose cited economic security and safety as critical factors influencing her newfound support, arguing that Trump’s policies make her feel protected as a single mother of two young children.

She also took the opportunity to criticize the media, accusing it of spreading falsehoods about Trump, a statement that prompted considerable applause.

She specifically addressed accusations of racism against Trump.

“My entire family is racially diverse, and I believed the left-wing propaganda that Donald Trump was a racist. My father said, ‘No, he’s not, Amber. What are you talking about?’ And when I insisted, he said, ‘Prove it.’ So to prove my father wrong, I did my research and looked into all things Donald Trump,” Rose explained.

“People have to do their research. I watched all the rallies, and I started meeting so many of his red-hat-wearing supporters. I realized Donald Trump and his supporters don’t care if you’re black, white, gay, or straight, it’s all love,” she continued.

“If you’re watching this tonight, you know our country is in trouble. Just like me, when you go to the store to buy food for your family, you’re shocked. When you fill-up your gas tank, you’re p#####. I know I am,” she stated.

Reactions to Rose’s speech have been mixed. Some commend her for embracing right-wing principles, while others criticize what they see as a betrayal of her previous views.

Rose’s speech is part of a diverse RNC roster, featuring speakers like UFC CEO Dana White, country singers Lee Greenwood and Chris Jansen, and former Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson.

N.O.R.E Makes Bold Prediction For Drake & Kendrick Lamar’s Future Relationship

N.O.R.E still believes there’s history to be made in the rap beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar.

In a brief message, he shared on Twitter, the Drink Champs podcast creator and host laid out his prediction for the spectacular fashion in which he believes Drizzy and KD will squash their beef.

Despite the fact that both Drake and Kendrick released extremely personal, saving diss tracks aimed at each other, N.O.R.E still believes there is hope the pair will reunite at some point in either the near or distant future.

“I predict Kendrick and drake squash it and eventually make 1 of the greatest hiphop records of all time !!!” N.O.R.E tweeted.

Almost immediately, fans began picking apart N.O.R.E’s prediction, remarking on how the severity of the insults hurled between the two rappers during the battle appear to make reconciliation impossible.

“this is cute but no. the kind of hate Kendrick displayed for Drake is generational lmao ain’t no taking backsies,” a Twitter/X user wrote in reply to his tweet.

Another user added, “N.O.R.E must not know Drake offered Kendrick a feature verse on First Person Shooter and he turned it down, and called him a pedofile in the middle of a rap battle.”

N.O.R.E’s prediction follows yet another tumultuous week within the saga of Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s simmering rap beef. Lil Wayne recently went viral after a video of his performance began circulating on social media when fans realized he sang the lyrics to Kendrick’s “Not Like Us” Drake diss while holding up his OVO owl chain and rapping he and Drizzy’s classic collaboration “The Motto.” Additionally, Kendrick’s aforementioned diss track returned to the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart, making it the Compton rapper’s longest-running No. 1 hit.

Even though it’s clear fans believe N.O.R.E may be delusional when it comes to how he’s foreshadowed the trajectory of Drake and Kendrick’s rap beef, he’s more of an expert on beef than most think. In fact, he himself has a notable history of being involved in rap beefs throughout different stages of his career. One of the most prominent beefs he was involved in was with he and Capone’s rivals, Mobb Deep, during the late 1990s.

The feud was part of the broader Queensbridge versus Lefrak City rivalry, as both groups hailed from these adjacent New York neighborhoods. Additionally, N.O.R.E had tensions with Tragedy Khadafi, who mentored him and Capone early in their careers but later had a falling out over business and personal issues.

Another significant conflict N.O.R.E was involved in was with Nas, which stemmed from misunderstandings and diss tracks exchanged during the early 2000s. Despite these confrontations, N.O.R.E. has managed to maintain relationships with many of his peers and has even hosted some of his former adversaries, such as Nas, on his and DJ EFN’s Drink Champs podcast.

With Praise From Eminem & Lil Wayne, Who Will RJ Payne Sign To?

There’s some buzz on the street! Word is that one of the illest rappers alive right now, rap monster RJ Payne, is about to sign a major label deal.

I know who he will sign with, but I can’t reveal it just yet. The rumor is that he will sign with a very well-known, classic-era rap artist who has strong ties to major labels. This individual is still active in the game and has recently shown a lot of support for RJ.

They collaborated on a song that significantly boosted the Philly rapper’s streams and visibility. Even more recently, RJ Payne received praise from Eminem and Lil Wayne. While they are both classic-era Hip-Hop artists in my book, they aren’t the ones I’m referring to. Could there be a bidding war brewing? Speculation is a part of this process if you get what I am saying. From what I know, one artist is set to sign him Eminemently. (No pun intended.)

You may remember RJ was our Emcee of the Year a few years ago and has received a lot of love here at the site and on various platforms affiliated with us. You know we love our lyrical lords at AllHipHop! By the way, the word on the street is that Payne did a blazing song with KRS-One! Domingo produced it! I can’t wait to hear the finished product.

Here’s some of that Domingo heat:

Young Thug Case Hanging By Thread After Judge Botches Trial

Judge Ural Glanville may have damaged Young Thug’s Georgia RICO trial beyond repair. The YSL rapper faced a potential mistrial following the judge’s recusal, per his co-defendant Yak Gotti’s attorney Douglas Weinstein.

Weinstein said state law required the trial to rewind to June 12. Jurors heard key witness Kenneth “Lil Woody” Copeland testify after that date, which may compel a new judge to declare a mistrial.

“I don’t want to put the cart before the horse, but if we ask for a mistrial, it’s because we were goaded into that through the actions of the prosecution as well as the judge and given that goading, double jeopardy should attach and [Yak Gotti] should not be retried,” Weinstein told Rolling Stone’s Nancy Dillon.

Judge Rachel Krause ordered Judge Glanville to recuse himself from the YSL RICO trial on Monday (July 15). Defense lawyers sought Glanville’s recusal over his secret meeting with Copeland and prosecutors.

Young Thug’s lawyer Brian Steel confronted Glanville about the meeting in June. Steel accused Glanville and prosecutors of coercing Copeland into testifying in the trial. Glanville demanded to know who told Steel about the meeting. Steel refused to reveal the source of his information. Glanville held Steel in contempt and sentenced the attorney to 20 days in jail.

The Georgia Supreme Court granted bond to Steel, preventing him from spending any time in jail. Young Thug and his co-defendants continued to pursue Glanville’s removal from the trial. Glanville initially refused to recuse himself before letting another judge settle the matter. Krause sided with the defense.

“This Court has no doubt that Judge Glanville can and would continue presiding fairly over this matter if the recusal motions were denied, but the ‘necessity of preserving the public’s confidence in the judicial system’ weighs in favor of excusing Judge Glanville from further handling of this case,” Krause ruled.

Young Thug’s trial was on hold until Krause decided on Glanville’s recusal. Young Thug remains in jail.

Additionally, Victor Blackwell, co-host of CNN This Morning Weekend, 50 Cent may have even agreed to more than just an appearance at the convention.

“CNN: 50 Cent is currently scheduled to perform at the GOP convention this week, according to a person familiar.

The person cautioned plans could still change, but as of Monday morning, 50 Cent was scheduled to perform at the convention,” Blackwell wrote in a tweet.

News of 50 Cent’s appearance at the convention follows the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump at his recent rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Following the shooting, 50 Cent shared a meme featuring Trump’s head photoshopped on the cover if his classic Get Rich or Die Tryin‘ album cover in reaction to the LP’s fan-favorite deep-cut “Many Men (Wish Death)” trending in the aftermath of the event.

Multiple reports also have confirmed that the track has re-entered the top 10 on US iTunes Charts after trending on social media following the shooting. 50 Cent has also taken full advantage of he moment, announcing the sale of “Many Men” t-shirts in an Instagram post on July 15.

During the 2020 United States presidential election, 50 Cent publicly endorsed Trump, primarily due to concerns over President Joe Biden’s proposed tax policies. In October 2020, Fifty shared a post on Instagram criticizing Biden’s tax plan, which he claimed would significantly raise taxes for high earners in states like New York and California.

His endorsement sparked a flurry of media coverage and discussions, as 50 Cent’s support was seen as a significant deviation from the norm for a prominent figure in the entertainment industry.

Despite facing backlash from fans and fellow celebrities, 50 Cent remained vocal about his support for Trump, highlighting economic policies as his primary motivation.

However, his endorsement was somewhat short-lived, as he later retracted his support, citing a conversation with comedian Chelsea Handler, who reminded him of the broader implications of a Trump presidency beyond tax concerns.
