SZA’s ‘SOS’ Returns To No. 1 For Eighth Week

SZA is back on top of the Billboard 200. After slipping to No. 2 last week, the R&B singer/songwriter’s SOS jumped back to the pole position on the latest Billboard album chart.

The Top Dawg Entertainment-backed project collected an additional 100,000 units during the latest tracking period. That total was enough to push SZA’s sophomore studio LP back to No. 1 for an eighth non-consecutive week.

SOS has the most weeks at No. 1 for an R&B album since Usher‘s nine-week reign with Confessions in 2004. Mariah Carey’s Music Box from 1993 was the last female R&B album to spend at least eight weeks atop the Billboard 200.

SZA released SOS on December 9, 2022. The 23-track project has already earned Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. The “Good Days” single acquired a 4x-Platinum plaque.

SOS also hosts the “Blind,” “Shirt,” “I Hate U,” and “Kill Bill” songs. The latter record currently sits at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The official “Kill Bill” music video has amassed 23 million views on YouTube.

Kill Bill film actress Vivica A. Fox makes a cameo in SZA’s Christian Breslauer-directed “Kill Bill” visuals. Plus, the SOS album features musical contributions from Don Toliver, Phoebe Bridgers, Travis Scott, and the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard.

In addition to leading the Billboard 200 chart once again, SZA also earned a major honor from the long-running music publication. Billboard named the 33-year-old Grammy winner as the 2023 Woman Of The Year Award recipient.

SZA will be on hand at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles on March 1 to accept the award. Abbott Elementary creator Quinta Brunson will host the event. “Big Energy” rapper Latto will receive the Powerhouse Award that evening as well.

McDonald’s Announces New Cardi B & Offset Meal

Belcalis “Cardi B” Cephus and Kiari “Offset” Cephus add another major endorsement to their evergrowing business portfolio. The married power couple joined forces with McDonald’s for a Valentine’s Day campaign featuring the company’s first-ever celebrity duo meal.

The McDonald’s Corporation announced the Cardi B & Offset Meal will be available at participating restaurants beginning February 14. Consumers have the chance to purchase the meal-for-two deal for a limited time.

Cardi B’s favorites, a cheeseburger with Tangy BBQ sauce and large Coke, are part of the combo. Offset selected a Quarter Pounder with Cheese and a large Hi-C Orange Lavaburst. The meal also comes with a large order of fries and an apple pie.

“Let me tell you, McDonald’s is date night done right,” states Offset in a press release. “It doesn’t have to be all boujee. Get your date, grab some good food, and have fun, that’s it.” 

Both Cardi and Offset also appeared in a new McDonald’s “Knowing Their Order” commercial. In addition, the “Clout” collaborators promoted the special meal on their respective social media pages. They have over 200 million combined followers on Twitter and Instagram.

“Whether it’s going for a date night or grabbing a bite after late-night studio sessions… I’m always asking Offset to take me to McDonald’s,” says Cardi B. “And now, Offset and I have a meal named after us! I want all my fans to try it – especially with that BBQ sauce.”

DDG Responds To Rubi Rose Leaking DMs

Model/rapper Rubi Rose inserted herself into the relationship saga involving Halle Bailey and Darryl “DDG” Granberry. Over the weekend, Rose publicly addressed her former boyfriend supposedly splitting up with Bailey. 

There were rumors that Halle Bailey and DDG called it quits after Granberry seemingly unfollowed the Chloe x Halle singer on Instagram. Then Rubi Rose shared alleged direct messages from DDG.

Rose posted a supposed screenshot of her Twitter DMs from last Tuesday where DDG asked if she was still in Los Angeles. The For the Streets mixtape creator captioned the tweet, “This is why I’m single.”

DDG fired back at his ex-girlfriend in a series of now-deleted tweets. He suggested Rubi Rose’s actions were her attempt to remain relevant. The two 2021 XXL Freshmen Class members exchanged several insults online.

Halle Bailey appeared to address the situation as well. The star of the upcoming The Little Mermaid movie tweeted, “The devil is working. ♥️Lol. Please don’t feed into the lies, especially from a third party. 💕✨Stay blessed everyone.”

DDG quote-tweeted Bailey’s cryptic message. The YouTuber/musician wrote in another now-deleted tweet, “Can y’all let my meat go now? Rubi is a weirdo. She [has] been hating on my relationship for years.”

Blueface Mad At Chrisean Rock Over Rick Ross Pic; Leaks Recordings Of Her Dissing Friends

The drama surrounding Blueface and Chrisean Rock continues as the turbulent couple clashed on social media once again Sunday evening. 

As fans of the pair have become accustomed to both parties aired their side of the beef online, which began with Blueface claiming Chrisean Rock was involved in the rumored Halle Bailey and DDG breakup and intensified after the reality TV starlet took a photo with Rick Ross at the Super Bowl.  

Blueface then accused Rock of dissing her friends and leaked secret recordings of her talking bad about them. 

After Blue retweeted several posts of Chrisean’s selfie with the MMG Boss, the “Vibe” hitmaker took to Twitter to share a screenshot of his alleged reaction to the photos.  

“Im at the Super Bowl running into ppl not even trying to trigger u or seem like a weird b####. Im really dat famous ppl go out they for a pic,” she tweeted.

Blueface also claimed his girlfriend was involved with Rubi Rose leaking DMs DDG allegedly sent her while dating the Little Mermaid star.  

“Leaking dms is lame af fr I knew rock had some to do with that I’m sorry,” Blue tweeted, tagging DDG in the post. Rubi Rose appeared to back up Blue’s claims in a video shared on social media.  

 “I just want to let you know that she’s the reason for everything today. It wasn’t me,” Rubi Rose stated while on Instagram Live with Chrisean.

In addition, Blueface questioned Chrisean’s loyalty to Halle after both couples went on a bowling double date last year. Rock denied responsibility for the leak and accused her man of clout chasing.

The Los Angeles native continued, threatening to expose what Chrisean Rock “really thinks of Rubi rose.” However, he said he didn’t want to be “petty.” 

Nonetheless, he claimed the “Baddies South” blamed Rubi Rose for cozying up to celebs for attention because she’s “washed up,” and “boring.” He added, “she just using her for a place to stay in AZ.”  

Chrisean denied using her friends and fired back by threatening to expose Blueface, claiming she had to get a tattoo to cover up a bald spot left after he pulled out one of her braids.  

“Let’s talk about the broad u pulled out my head,” she tweeted. “So I had to comprise with a tat to cover up what u did to my hair.” 

Donald Trump Blasts Rihanna, Calls Her Super Bowl Performance “Worst Halftime Show” Ever

Donald Trump lashed out at Rihanna following her iconic performance during Sunday’s Super Bowl Halftime Show. 

The former president took to Truth Social to comment on the show, calling it an “epic fail” and insulting the pregnant singer’s look on the night.  

“EPIC FAIL: Rihanna gave, without question, the single worst Halftime Show in Super Bowl history,” he wrote following the Halftime Show where RiRi not only showcased her greatest hits, but also unveiled her growing baby bump.  

He continued: “This after insulting far more than half of our Nation, which is already in serious DECLINE, with her foul and insulting language.” 

Finally, he took aim at her outfit, writing, “Also, so much for her ‘Stylist!’” 

The “foul and insulting language” is likely a reference to images she tweeted in 2020 of a Cadillac with “F*** Trump” spray-painted on it.  

Last week, Trump blasted Rihanna in response to a tweet from U.S. Rep. Ronny Jackson, a Republican Congressman from Texas, demanding that the NFL drop the singer from the Super Bowl.  

Jackson wrote on TruthSocial.com, “Rihanna spray painted “F### Donald Trump” on a car at the Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo, Texas. She’s made a career of spewing degenerate filth while badmouthing America every chance she gets. Why is the NFL showcasing this crap? Rihanna SHOULD NOT be the halftime performer!!”   

Trump followed up with, “Without her ‘Stylist’ she’d be NOTHING. Bad everything, and NO TALENT!” 

While Donald Trump spewed his criticism of Rihanna, the show’s executive producer was full of praise for the star following the event.  

“I just feel great,” Jesse Collins told Hollywood Reporter. “I feel like her vision was executed. She shocked the world and the Navy’s [Rihanna’s fans] happy, and I’m just glad we got another great one in the books.”

Fans began speculating from the moment the talented songstress began her performance during Sunday night’s Super Bowl Halftime show. It wasn’t just the apparent baby bump that drove speculation, but the number of times Rihanna caressed her rounded stomach throughout the show.

While many believed the belly-rubbing was the Billionaire songstress hinting at her new arrival, Rihanna neither confirmed nor denied the rumors. However, shortly after the show, her representative confirmed to multiple outlets that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are expecting another child.  

The NYC rapper has yet to address the news, but he could be seen during the show supporting his partner. A$AP Rocky stood cheering Rihanna on from the sidelines, bobbing his head to her hits and capturing memories of the epic set.

Last month, the new father described returning home to his family after working as “heaven every day.” 

“It’s so unexplainable. It’s just one of those things. I’m a member of our club now, like the dad club. You see a dad, you see me. I’m playing on, I’m a full dad now,” A$AP Rocky explained. “Being outside and working and being creative, it drives more energy for you to obviously to think and soak things up like a sponge now that I’m a dad, because I have a whole nother perspective.”  

He continued, “But it honestly helps you get home to your family and get home to your baby. And I can’t even explain it, man. You come home to heaven every day. I’m so thankful. God is good, man.” 

Meanwhile, Rihanna revealed that her motherhood instilled a new sense of fearlessness that helped her accept the Super Bowl gig.  

“When you become a mom there’s something that happens where you feel like you can take on the world and can do anything,” the “Lift Me Up,” singer said last week, ahead of the performance. “The Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world. As scary as it was, because I haven’t been on stage in seven years, there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all. It’s important for me to do this year. It’s important for my son to see that.”

Doja Cat Didn’t Plan To Make Big Statement With Feminist Anthem “Woman”

Doja Cat didn’t set out to make a “feminist anthem” with her song “Woman.”

The rapper/singer, real name Amala Dlamini, recorded the song for her third studio album Planet Her, with the track garnering three Grammy nominations.

Reflecting on the success of “Woman” during an interview for Variety, Doja admitted that she hadn’t planned to make a “great statement” with the release.

“It’s not like a big feminist anthem – absolutely not. I didn’t want to make a great statement, but if somebody felt empowered by it, that’s fantastic, and that’s what I want, though it’s not what I seek,” she explained. “I think the song can also definitely sound submissive in a way, so it just goes both ways.”

And while Doja was pleased to receive recognition with her Grammy nods, she insisted she places little weight on awards.

“I think it can become very toxic to focus on stuff like that. And the last thing I want is to forget about the music – forget about why I’m here. So, to focus on winning, it’s not going to make my music sound better,” the 27-year-old continued.

GloRilla Reveals The Valuable Advice She Received From Cardi B

GloRilla has shared the career advice Cardi B once offered to her.

The rising rapper, real name Gloria Woods, released the single “Tomorrow 2” featuring Cardi last September, with the pair also performing the track at the 2022 American Music Awards.

During an interview for Grammy.com, GloRilla recalled the guidance the superstar recently gave her.

“The best advice I got from Cardi was just to stay focused, keep going hard, and don’t stop,” she said before gushing over how she would like to follow in the footsteps of the Bodak Yellow hitmaker. “I love Cardi so much. Like, I know ain’t nobody perfect. But to me, she’s just so perfect.”

You know, I love Rihanna. However, she got everybody talking at the halftime of the Super Bowl, as the Eagles were beating the KC Chiefs. When she performed, she flaunted her belly in a red suit. At first, it seem like it was a casual occurrence, but soon enough, it seemed as if she was really showing off her stomach in a way that started the rumors. 

Soon, enough, my fans and rumor sources started to ask me questions. And now we’re all wondering if she is really pregnant! She had a baby with A$AP Rocky May 13, 2022. So that makes us all think that this is just some baby fat. And that’s all good. Nobody is tripping off of that BUT in Hollywood and entertainment, most people in the field look to shed that baby fat after having a baby and showing off their SNAP back. You know Rihanna has a different sort of swagger about her and may very well just be flaunting her belly fat. BUT…SHE LOOKS PREGNANT!

However, a lot of people speculate, she just might be with child. It’s highly feasible that she and A$AP Rocky are working on a second little bun. Who knows? BUT SHE LOOKS VERY PREGNANT! I just know that Most times when they show off the stomach like that they are making a statement. Also, I think that she understands that she will get a lot more press off of pregnancy rumors than she will off that performance. In fact, it may be an effort to deflect from the performance, which quite frankly was lackluster. SO, REVEALS THE PREGNANCY!

I was hoping for a special appearance by Jay-Z or Drake, or somebody like that. But none of them showed up in support of their sister. Anyway, we still love Rihanna over here, but we need our questions answered!

Rihanna Wax Figure Unveiled Before Big Super Bowl Halftime Show

The latest wax figure of Rihanna has been unveiled at Madame Tussauds New York.

Ahead of the “Umbrella” hitmaker’s highly anticipated Halftime Show gig at the Super Bowl LVII in Arizona tonight (February 12th), curators at the museum have added a brand-new portrayal of the superstar to the collection.

Located in the Glow Gala Room, the figure wears a silver minidress and cape, as well as a matching headdress – as inspired by the heavily embellished Maison Margiela outfit, she wore to the 2018 Met Gala.

“Rihanna is sure to make history with her upcoming live show, so the timing is perfect for us to reveal her new figure exclusively at Madame Tussauds New York, where fans can admire and pose with the icon,” said Joerg Hanel, general manager at Madame Tussauds New York.

Each Madame Tussauds figure takes approximately six months to create.

Rihanna has not yet commented on the wax figure.

After all, this was a big year for De La Soul. The trio’s first six albums—3 Feet High and Rising, De La Soul Is Dead, Buhloone Mindstate, Stakes Is High and Art Official Intelligence: Mosaic Thump and AOI: Bionix—will finally be available on streaming platforms beginning March 3. It was a long, arduous road to get there and Maseo, Dave and Posdnuos had to endure years of unsuccessful negotiations with their former label, Tommy Boy Records.

Over the last few weeks, De La Soul has been ramping up promo in anticipation of March 3. De La fans have been eagerly awaiting the albums to be uploaded after all this time and it’s undoubtedly a gut punch to them as well. Meanwhile, the tributes continue to pour in; check some of them out below.

Yelawolf Gets Emotional After Bam Margera Gifts Him One Of Elvis’s Rings

Yelawolf was understandably moved after Bam Margera gifted him one of Elvis’s rings recently. Margera and Yelawolf both come from a skateboarding background and have been friends for years. On Saturday (February 11), the former Shady Records signee shared a photo of the ring to his Instagram account, explaining how it happened. As he noted, Priscilla Presley generously gave Margera both the ring and one of Elvis’ robes while they were together in Los Angeles.

“Priscilla gave Bam one of Elvis’s robes and a ring of his as well the other night in L.A,” he wrote. “Bam gifted that ring to me. It popped on my finger like it was made for me and I can’t lie, it was a bit emotional.

“Elvis was my first piece of vinyl. It was also a gift when I was only 7 years old. Some things are just too amazing not to share with you all. Thank you Priscilla and thank you BAM I love you bro. Yelawolf included a text exchange between Bam Margera and TMZ, who Margera evidentially has on speed dial. Margera explained he wanted his father Phil, a huge Elvis fan, to have the robe.

“All he wants is Elvis’ robe because Phil is too fat to fit in Ferraris and Lamborghinis,” he wrote, to which TMZ replied, “You gave the ring to Yelawolf?”

Margera continued, “Yes, because it fit him perfectly and I believe that he’s the new king of rock ‘n roll and rap and country is my favorite but Elvis is the kind of rock ‘n roll and that’ll never change.”

Yelawolf posted another photo of himself and Margera from the same day he was gifted the ring. He wrote: “Moments after Bam dropped the ring in my lap…also moments after he wobbled into the lobby in Elvis’ robe Priscilla gave him. Rockin it shamelessly over his hoody and jeans.”

EXCLUSIVE: De La Soul’s Trugoy The Dove Has Died At 54

De La Soul legend Trugoy The Dove, also known as Dave or Dave Jolicoeur, has died his team confirmed to AllHipHop. He was 54. Details are scarce, but Trugoy has been struggling with his health over the past few years. In 2018, Trugoy opened up about his battle with congestive heart failure in an Instagram video and admitted he was struggling with being sidelined.

“I’m ready just to get back to the stage,” he said at the time. “I miss that. I love traveling. I love being around my guys and I want that back.”

In 2020, he again sparked concern when he was briefly hospitalized. He appeared to be in good spirits, however, and was able to have an Instagram Live conversation with his De La Soul brethren, Posdnuos and Maseo.

It was expected to be a giant year for De La Soul. The talented trifecta has been fighting to get their first six albums on streaming services after a years of stalled negotiations with Tommy Boy Records, their former label. But last year, Reservoir Media wound up acquiring the Tommy Boy catalog and wanted to help rectify the situation.

In an interview with Rock The Bells last month, Posdnuos spoke on their hard-won victory, saying, “When we got together with the owners of Tommy Boy, every now and then, we’d make a few strides, then maybe all of us within the group wouldn’t trust in what was going on. Communications would be shut down for a few months. To get to the point where Reservoir has taken over the Tommy Boy catalog, they immediately reached out and they were like, ‘Look man, we have control of this. Let’s work it out.’ It was a whole different feeling, a better energy.

“Let’s be honest. They didn’t have to do it. It was just great to know they did take the time to work this out with us, but it’s been a journey. Once it was worked out, we still had to get all the business, all the affairs handled and now here we are.”

Kodak Black’s Next Big Move: Rapper Is Opening A Restaurant

Kodak Black, the rapper known for his fiery lyrics and controversial persona, has left his troubled past behind as he ventures into a new chapter in his life.

Despite his legal issues and skirmishes with the law, Kodak has turned over a new leaf thanks to a pardon by former President Donald Trump and is now diving into the world of commercial real estate investment.

The rapper recently made a wise purchase in Pompano Beach to create a new legacy. According to The Real Deal, Kodak spent $1.8 million on a property located at 1511-1547 Hammondville Road.

The first building is a nearly 3,800-square-foot structure, and the second is a 4,900-square-foot building constructed in the late 1950s.

Kodak has big plans for the property. One building will be transformed into a luxurious retail space with a restaurant, and he is considering tearing down the other to make way for a new retail space.

The new venture into commercial real estate is not just a business opportunity for Kodak but also a way for him to give back to the community that raised him.

With this new investment, Kodak Black is poised to make a major impact in the world of commercial real estate and become a respected player in the local industry.

Patti LaBelle is open to finding love.

During an appearance on “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” host Jennifer asked the music icon whether she was interested in dating, having finalized her divorce from Armstead Edwards in 2003 after three decades of marriage.

“Well sorta, kinda. How old am I? 78,” Patti replied. “I was married for 32 years to a wonderful man, and we’re still friends, good friends. And so, I think in life I need to find happiness for myself, other than what I had back in the day with him, which was wonderful. But I’m too good to be solo.”

Jennifer also asked the singer if she had tried any dating apps.

“What’s that?” she laughed before the TV presenter explained the concept.

“Oh, that stuff. I’ve seen that commercial,” Patti continued, noting that she already has a potential suitor in mind. “I really do, but that’s my personal business.”

Elsewhere in the conversation, the star revealed that she would want either Fantasia Barrino or Ledisi to play her in a future biopic.

“They can sing. They’re awesome. I love those ladies,” she praised. “You guys are the ones who call me because I’m honest, and I’m blessed to know you, so I don’t want you to make any mistakes that I might have made. So, you’re gonna get the truth from Ms. Patti Patti.”

Embattled comedian Roseanne Barr has been laying low since getting the boot from her own sitcom in 2018. But just days after speaking candidly to the Los Angeles Times, Barr is getting some attention. On Saturday (February 11), Barr shared an Instagram post suggesting she’s got the hots for A$AP Rocky.

Sharing a screenshot of a private message to the A$AP Mob rapper, Barr wrote: “Call me when you get tired of Rihanna.” She added in the caption: “Shooting my shot.” The post elicited thousands of responses and seemed to get a laugh out of her followers.

Meanwhile, Rihanna is busy gearing up for one of the biggest performances of her life—Super Bowl LVII. The Big Game goes down on Sunday (February 12) with the Fenty founder taking the stage for the prestigious halftime show.

As she explained in a recent interview with Apple Music, selecting what song snippets to perform proved to be tough.

“The setlist was the biggest challenge,” she admitted. “That was the hardest, hardest part. Deciding how to maximize thirteen minutes, but also celebrate. That’s what this show is gonna be. It’s gonna be a celebration of my catalog in the best way we could have put it together.

“You only have thirteen minutes, that’s a challenge. So you’re trying to cram seventeen years of work into thirteen minutes. It’s difficult, but some songs we had to lose because of that and that’s gonna be OK.”

As for Roseanne Barr, she’s no longer afraid to talk about getting fired from the Roseanne reboot. She didn’t, however, mince words when discussing it.

“I’ve survived,” she said. “I’ve come out on the other side of it, finally. But it was a witch-burning. And it was terrifying.”

Young Thug remains behind bars awaiting trial on a slew of RICO charges. In the meantime, jury selection is underway but expected to be an exhaustive process.

According to court docs obtained by AllHipHop, Young Thug has a list of people he wants called to the witness stand, including Lyor Cohen. The former Def Jam executive and now YouTube’s Global Head of Music is one of 36 people included on the list.

Young Thug and his legal team also want to put Kevin Liles on the stand. Liles, who co-founded 300 Entertainment with Cohen, previously served as EVP at Warner Music Group.

The jury selection process for Young Thug’s trial began in early January, but as the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported, Judge Ural Glanville said jury selection will take months.

A total of 613 people were in the original pool of jurors. A new group of 300 prospective jurors will be brought in on February 24, while another batch of 300 will be added on March 17.

Potential jurors summoned will be required to watch a reading of the indictment against Young Thug and his co-defendants. The jurors will also get an opportunity to be excused for hardship.

“Just for your basic juror math, if we examine five a day, that is four months,” Glanville said. “If you examine a full panel a day, that’s about two and a half months.”

More than half of the 613 people summoned for jury duty were excused. Glanville’s goal is to qualify 90 jurors ahead of Thugger’s trial. The number will eventually get cut down to 12 jurors and six alternates.

Eminem’s Stunt Double Killed At 40

Eminem‘s stunt double, Ryan Shepard, was reportedly killed in Washington last month after being struck by a car. According to TMZ, Shepard was attempting to cross a street when a pickup truck slammed into him. Emergency responders rushed to the scene, but Shepard was already dead.

Shepard began appearing as Eminem in the early 2000s. Not only did he work as Slim Shady’s stunt double, he’d also stand in for photos and show up to various events. In fact, he once posed at the MTV Movie Awards as Shady’s superhero character, Rap Boy. In 2002, Shepard had the opportunity to accompany Eminem on the Anger Management Tour. He accompanied Shady to both Japan and Europe the following year. He later appeared in the D12 video for “Purple Pills” as Eminem’s double.

Shepard’s brother Kyle said the 40-year-old eventually landed a job at Disney as a ride mechanical engineer and soon moved to Elon Musk’s SpaceX as a test automation engineer.

Eminem has yet to address Shepard’s death publicly. Shepard leaves behind two children.

Big Gipp recently sat down for an interview with the Art of Dialogue and shared some interesting revelations. Among them, the notion Beyoncé would be with 2Pac instead of JAY-Z had he survived the infamous 1996 Las Vegas shooting. The conversation was sparked after the Goodie Mob co-founder was asked about Billboard and Vibe’s controversial “greatest rappers of all time” list, which had JAY-Z at No. 1 and 2Pac at No. 4.

“To me, 2Pac,” he says when asked about it. “Only reason you inching JAY-Z past 2Pac is because he got g###### Beyoncé. You take Beyoncé away, he ain’t got s###. Bar for bar? Yeah, he might rap better than ‘Pac, but ‘Pac came with the heart. That’s different. It’s just different. You can’t beat that. You can never beat the heart, bro.

“Some people can be technical, just like the difference between Jordan and LeBron. Jordan, technical. That muthafucka technical. LeBron? Gangster. Goon s###. Two different styles. If ‘Pac was here, who do you think the girl would have been with? Hold up [laughs].”

Big Gipp went on to discuss everything JAY-Z is essentially not.

“You can’t do no movies,” he continued. “You can’t do what ‘Pac was doing. C’mon. How can you be better than ‘Pac? You one-shot Charlie. That boy was a triple threat. He did groups that was successful, solo albums that was successful and movies that was successful. Hands down. If he had lived, he would have smoked everything walking.”

Big Gipp also described 2Pac’s “electric” energy and insisted people loved him with or without money. Essentially, Gipp suggested nobody would give JAY-Z a second thought without his billion-dollar empire, including Beyoncé.

“‘Pac didn’t need no money to make people look at him,” he added. “‘Pac was a star without the money. If I put these two individuals beside each other without the money, the little bald head man wins the game.”
