Zion Marley Surprises His Mother, Lauryn Hill Introduces Grandchildren At One Music Festival

Miss Lauryn Hill took to the stage to give one of the best performances of the One Music Fest.

During her set, she performed a beautifully deconstructed version of “To Zion,” with fans singing in a teary-eyed bliss.

One of the most transparent and gorgeously personal songs on her opus, “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,” “To Zion” is a personal conversation between a young woman and her newborn son.

At the time, when she first became pregnant, Hill was on the top of the charts and her debut album was the most anticipated in pop music. Questions burned, “How will you be able to thrive with a baby bump or a new baby?”

The song was about her not regretting her decision to have her son with Rohan Marley and is one of the reasons so many children in 2022 are named Zion.

It was not only a personal testimony, “To Zion” became an anthem for young mothers loving their children, even when the world pressed the challenges they may face when bringing new life into the world.

At the end of her One Music Festival performance of the song, her son, Zion came out to surprise her.

After 15 minutes, Zion comes onto the stage and hugs his mother. The two have a deep hug, one that oozed with maternal love, care, and an understanding of years well traveled on a journey together.

Ms. Hill is clearly overwhelmed.

Ms. Hill tells her 25-year-old son to bring out her two grandchildren, Zephaniah and Azaria.

“This is my grandson Zephaniah. This is my granddaughter Azaria. This is my son, Zion,” she said.

She highlighted Zion’s shirt that said, “The Most High over everything” and in approval, she said to her oldest son, “Yes, Zion.”

The moment was topped by her two other children, John Nesta, Micah, and Sarah coming to the stage. Her two children missing from the night were both Selah and Joshua.

Truly, the night invited the guest who attended the festival into the close-knit of her very private family.

Rapper Skyzoo Narrates Fox Sports Produced Documentary On Jackie Robinson

According to Fox Sports, a new film is set to drop about one of the American sport’s most prolific athletes, Jackie Robinson.

Entitled “Jackie Robinson: Get to the Bag,” the movie has been labeled as an “Immersive Hip Hop Documentary” that will break down the icon in ways that are far “beyond baseball.”

Brooklyn-based rapper, Skyzoo lends his voice as the narrator of the film. The documentary is set to stream on FS1 on Wednesday, October 12th, and will be executively produced by Two-Time World Series Champion and Six-Time All-Star Mookie Betts, co-produced by Propagate and MLB, and directed by Victorious De Costa.

The almost two-minute trailer explains how Robinson’s story is greater than his breaking the color barrier.

Lyrically, Skyzoo makes magic on the screen. In the promotional clip of the movie, you hear his voice spit facts that history books often leave out, speaking from Robinson’s perspective.

The filmmakers say, “film blends the lyrical narrative of Brooklyn-based rapper Skyzoo and the voices of multiple generations to celebrate Robinson’s extraordinary life and legacy, shedding new light on the Hall of Famer’s journey from the baseball diamond to prominence in corporate America.”

The graphics, combined with vintage images and a baseball jersey embroidered with Robinson’s 42, make the doc seem as beautiful as it is informative.

“Jackie Robinson: Get to the Bag” also includes conversational interviews with Mookie Betts, Candice Wiggins, Alex Rodriguez, Dr. Ilyasah Shabazz, Angelika Beener, and Peter Dreier, “along with commentary from current MLB superstars and the newest generation of fans.”

Stacey Abrams Talks About The Importance Of Hip-Hop In The Upcoming Election

Stacey Abrams is lining herself up to make history, hoping to become the first Black woman to become the governor of Georgia.

The Spelman and Yale graduate attended the One Music Fest with the goal to inspire Black and Brown voters to come out and vote in the upcoming Georgia gubernatorial election on Tuesday, Nov. 8.

Stacey Abrams, One Music Festival (NDS)

Abrams wanted to drive home the point that the clear pathway for her campaign to win is if her supporters come out for early voting, which starts on Sunday, Oct. 17.

When AllHipHop.com asked the candidate to talk about Hip-Hop and this generation’s role in her campaign, she said, “We’ve been proud to work with Lil Baby, with 21 Savage, with Common, and more because I want to meet people where they are.”

“We have a tendency to think that politics is about bringing people to me,” she said. “It’s not. My job is to meet them where they are.”

Adding, “And this is one of the most powerful generations we have ever had. This generation can make sure we have access to real education. That we have access to health care in Georgia. That we can have affordable housing in Georgia.”

Stacey Abrams, One Music Festival (NDS)

“And all they have to do is vote,” the Gen Xer said.

“If this generation votes their power in Georgia, we win everything! If we don’t show up, they are going to make decisions for this generation.”

She then detailed the things this generation believes in, itemizing things like incarceration, undereducation, and underinvestment. She then said, “he takes credit for things other people have done.”

“He has nothing for this generation,” Abrams informed. “He has less opportunity and more incarceration. In my administration, we have more opportunity, freedom, and then a right to protect it.”

Later she left the intimate press setting and came out to speak to the thousands of festival attendees who gathered at the main stage to see Young Jeezy.

A long-time supporter of the festival, she celebrated the founder J. Carter before telling people that they are not going to just be “sole survivors” in the state but going to “thrive,” because they are going to elect someone that sees the needs of the people.

“We don’t need to raise taxes, we are going to raise our expectations,” she said.

She talked about working with the current mayor, Andre Dickens, and local businesspeople, like Jeezy. But then she said they needed to elect a governor who will show up for the community every time.

Stacey Abrams, One Music Festival (NDS)

While reinforcing her commitment to healthcare, education, and affordable housing, she also promised to “decriminalize weed.”

Abrams, a woman born months after the universally recognized birthday of Hip-Hop, is ready to take leadership on day one and is every bit cool as she is brilliant. Check out here dancing with Lil Duval on the side of the stage during the Jeezy show.

Katie Got Bandz Prepping New Project Under ‘Drillery Clinton’ Alias

Rapper Katie Got Bandz, a pioneer Chicagoland Drill scene, said she is still trying to take in being asked to be a part of Nicki Minaj’s “Super Freaky Girl Queen Remix” and believes the universe answered her prayers from earlier in the year with Drillary Clinton project.

In an interview with WGN 9, she shared it was a “dope experience” to have the Queen of the Barbz reach out to her.

While the two artists never met, she said they met on social media after she made a point and have been “bonding” ever since.

Katie Got Bandz said she and Nicki started getting cool after she dropped her latest project “Drillary Clinton 4” earlier this year.

She told the host that Drillary Clinton, a play on the former first lady and U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s name, is her alter ego.

“I was a fan (still am a fan) of Hillary Clinton,” she said. “It’s presidential and since I have my slogan ‘Go Vote Lil ####’ [it worked].”

She also said the fans gave her the name because she is the first lady of Drill music.

With DC4, she said, “I spoke on the things that’s happening now with my music. I manifested and worked and prayed and said I was gonna get a song with Nicki and it happened.”

“She sent me the beat and said, ‘Mama, I know this might be a little poppy for you,’” she stated. “But I responded, ‘I’m versatile I can do any type of song.”

She jumped on it showed she was more than just drill artist.

Her versatility is about to be on full blast with her upcoming project “DC4 Deluxe” which will feature big features that she cannot talk about.

As she talked about this amazing opportunity with the Young Money princess and the lack of women making music out of Chicago, Katie Got Bandz said she is with “love” and “unity” not just in Chicago, but around the world.

Hopefully, this unity can spill over into Nicki’s world.

Since the promotion and release of this song, Ms. Petty has re-engaged her beef with Cardi B, a Hip-Hop squabble that at one point spilled off the record and into the streets.

And no one wants that ever again.

Man Claims To Be Tupac Reincarnated; Wants Deceased Rapper’s Estate

An incarcerated man proclaimed himself the reincarnation of Tupac Shakur and demanded access to the late rapper’s wealth.

According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, an inmate named Tarnell Leon Jones filed a lawsuit to take Tupac’s identity.

Jones claimed he was Tupac Shakur returned from the dead. Jones admitted he did not look like Pac and could not remember the rapper’s social security number. He provided publicly known information, like Tupac’s birthday and the date of the infamous shooting at the Quad in New York, which many say sparked the “East Coast/West Coast” war in hip-hop.

But, Jones maintained that if he were allowed to undergo some elaborate medical tests, the world would see that he has two blood types – and possibly two hearts.

Jones told the court to Google his full name because it somehow translates to Tupac’s “reincarnation name.” He also sought damages for incidents that occurred in the ’90s and requested any documents pertaining to Tupac’s identity.

“[Jones] alleges that he was shot by police officers in New York City, Los Angeles, and Atlanta between 1992 and 1995,” United States District Judge Hector Gonzalez wrote. “He also alleges that a backpack containing more than $1 million was ‘robbed’ from him, although he has not specified who took it or where this event occurred. [Jones] seeks reimbursement for the medical expenses that he incurred because of these events.”

The judge added, “He further demands that the Court restore his birth certificate, Social Security number, all other forms of identification, and ‘my life’ more generally. Plaintiff also wants other financial assets to which Mr. Shakur would be entitled if he were alive today: his songs, music studios, cars, trucks, and houses.”

Judge Gonzalez dismissed the case, deeming it to be frivolous. The judge noted Jones is a “prolific litigator” who’s had at least two other cases dismissed for being foolish.

“Plaintiff’s complaint is nonsensical and does not present any cognizable federal claims that could possibly have occurred within any relevant statute of limitations period,” Judge Gonzales wrote.

Jones filed at least 13 lawsuits in the past decade in Colorado, where he’s incarcerated in the San Carlos Correctional Facility. He submitted the Tupac claims in New York.

Judge Gonzalez dismissed Jones’ claims with prejudice, which means the inmate can’t refile the lawsuit.

SMILE! After Horrific Accident, Lil Duval Returns To The Stage At One Music Fest

After experiencing a life-changing car accident in July, one that had doctors questioning if he would be able to walk in the next few years, Lil Duval is showing the world why everyone needs to “smile.”

As AllHipHop.com reported, the comedian/ artist shared a video of medics transferring him from an ambulance to a plane, after the accident and him wincing in pain while laid out on a stretcher. In one clip, he cries out in agony at one point in the clip as he is lowered to the ground.

Another force to be reckoned with (during their set) was Lil Duval, who made his first performance since his horrible accident months ago. He came on stage in a wheelchair but jumped up with his cane and sang his hit song, “Smile (Living My Best Life).” After dancing up a storm and giving a performance of his life, he shared with the fans that doctors said it would take years for him to walk again. But here he was in the flex doing what he was placed on the earth to do.

Kanye Banned From Twitter Already For Shocking Post About Jewish People

Rap star Kanye West was banned from Instagram for a series of anti-semitic poses, and now Twitter has the rapper in their crosshairs.

Kanye returned to Twitter after a two-year hiatus, to the glee of his 31 million followers, including the soon-to-be owner, Elon Musk.

Ye left his social media platform of choice, Instagram, after his account was hit with restrictions on Friday (October 7th) following a series of posts platform handlers considered anti-semitic.

The post that got him banned from Instagram came during a heated exchange with Sean “Diddy” Combs, who was attempting to contact the rapper about his controversial “White Lives Matter” T-shirt.

Kanye shared a series of text messages between the pair, in which he claimed Diddy was sent by the Jews to control him. Instagram reps claimed West’s text thread violated the platform’s policies.

And now Twitter will be tested as they prepare for Elon Musk to take over the platform.

Many believed Musk’s involvement in the company would loosen some restrictions surrounding free speech, but that may not be the case. Despite the new boss welcoming Kanye with open arms, Twitter has already removed a controversial post by Kanye.

Earlier today (October 9th), Kanye took aim at the Jewish people again while defending himself from being anti-Semitic.

Kanye threatened to go “death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE,” while adding he can’t be anti-Semitic because Black people are actually Jew.”

Twitter removed the post and locked Kanye’s account.

According to the ADL, the ideology originated with the Black Hebrew Israelite (BHI) movement, which the organization labeled a fringe religious sect that asserts that people of color are Israel’s true children.

The sect believes that white people or “conventionally accepted Jews” are not members of the tribes.

https://twitter.com/kanyewest/status/1578972736957059072?s=20&t=LxuEC0c_OdHGCF4TKOlv2w

“Black Hebrew Israelites are not Jews, and Black Jews are not the same as Black Hebrew Israelites. Black Jews and Jews of color are genuine members of the Jewish faith,” the ADL says. “Black Hebrew Israelites identify specifically with the biblical Israelites and consider Judaism, Christianity, and Islam to be false religions. Many BHI teachers claim that Jews and other white people forced Black individuals into other religions. Extreme factions believe white Jews are perpetuating identity theft.”

Ye turned his attention to the events unfolding in Iran, where protests erupted after the death of a young woman in police custody after she was arrested by the morality police for violating the country’s strict Islamic dress code.

Kid Cudi Considering Retirement

Kid Cudi is thinking of quitting making music.

In a Hot Ones interview on Thursday, the Surfin’ rapper hinted at the possibility of retiring soon.

When asked whom he looked to as the blueprint for ageing gracefully as an artist, Cudi – real name Scott Mescudi – replied, “JAY-Z for sure… But I don’t feel like I have what they have.”

The star continued, “I just don’t know if I wanna do music, drop albums for too much longer, you know? I’m kind of nearing the end on all things Kid Cudi, I think.”

Pressed to elaborate, Cudi revealed what his dream job would be after music.

“I’m really curious to see what else I can do,” he mused. “I was thinking about this – and this is like a wacky idea I had years ago. But it would be cool to, like, one day be a kindergarten teacher. And just do that for a couple years. Like, when I’m, like, 50.”

Why teaching appealed to him, the 38-year-old explained, “I just, like, infect the youth with that freshness. Get ’em young, and then those kids will just sprinkle the freshness to the world, and I’ll just be like, ‘Yes! Yes!’”

Elsewhere in the interview, Cudi called his music style “space punk rock,” describing it as “super synth-y but reckless and dangerous and edgy.”

His latest album Entergalactic dropped on September 30th.

Jada Pinkett Smith Writing A “No Holds Barred” Memoir

Jada Pinkett Smith is to publish an “honest and gripping” memoir next year.

On Thursday, editors at Fourth Estate and HarperCollins announced that they had signed a deal with the actress to distribute the as-yet-untitled book in fall 2023.

In a summary, PR and publishing director Michelle Kane promised fans that the book is a “riveting journey” that chronicles her childhood in Baltimore, Maryland as well as her stint as a “petty drug dealer,” her friendship with rapper Tupac Shakur at high school, and her rise to fame in Hollywood.

In addition, Jada will reflect on her “complicated” marriage to husband Will Smith and “and a joyous embrace of motherhood.”

“In crisis at age 40, Jada recounts the excruciating choices she was forced to make to redefine her life in every way,” the synopsis reads. “At the heart of this powerful book are two unexpected love stories, one being Jada’s complicated marriage to Will Smith, the other being the one with herself.”

Regarding the project, Michelle described Jada as “one of the most powerful global voices in modern popular culture.”

“I have admired her fiercely for decades now and cannot wait to be part of what is undoubtedly going to be a landmark publication,” she added.

Will Smith On A “Different Level” In “Emancipation” Says Director Antoine Fuqua

Antoine Fuqua has praised Will Smith’s performance in “Emancipation.”

In the upcoming film, which is based on a true story, Smith plays Peter – an enslaved person who escapes from a Louisiana plantation and makes his way North, where he joins the Union Army.

In an interview with Deadline, director Fuqua promised fans that Smith puts on an “incredible” performance in the drama.

“Will is on a whole different level, in this film,” he commented.

“Emancipation,” also featuring Ben Foster, Steven Ogg, and Charmaine Bingwa, is set to be released in U.S. cinemas on December 2nd and via Apple TV+ the following week.

However, there was debate over whether the project would be unveiled this year after Smith hit the headlines worldwide after slapping Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars in March.

During the live telecast, fans were shocked when the “King Richard” actor walked onto the stage and slapped Rock on the face after he compared his wife Jada Pinkett Smith – who has the medical condition alopecia – to G.I. Jane.

Yet, Fuqua was confident the film would get a release date due to the support of the team at Apple.

“It was Apple, behind the scenes, they were pushing that as well, trying to navigate through the waters. They never stopped talking about releasing the film, and when would be best strategically,” the filmmaker continued. “Apple would call me often, with Will, and I have to say Apple has been amazing through this whole film.”

Producers Of Kim Kardashian’s True-Crime Podcast Deny Failing To Contact Victims

The producers of Kim Kardashian’s new true-crime podcast have insisted they contacted victims.

On Monday, the first episode of the reality TV star’s “The System: The Case of Kevin Keith” debuted on Spotify.

The podcast explores the life of convicted murderer Kevin Keith and makes a case for his release from prison, however, two of Keith’s alleged victims – Quanita and Quentin Reeves – have spoken out against the project, claiming that they were not contacted before it premiered.

But in light of the criticism, producers at production companies Tenderfoot TV and Big City TV maintained that they did reach out to the siblings.

“The production team of ‘The System’ made multiple attempts to reach out to the Reeves siblings. At the time, they decided not to share their story and requested we no longer contact them,” they said in a statement to TMZ. “If they have reconsidered, we welcome them to sit down for the podcast at any time.”

Quanita and Quentin were among the six people injured in a 1994 shooting which Keith was sentenced for. The shooting left three others dead.

In an interview for the Daily Mail on Thursday, the pair alleged that they weren’t contacted by Kim or any other producer about their story.

“(Kim) did not contact us, not one time,” he commented. “If Kim Kardashian wants to get involved, she should come and meet us face-to-face.”

He continued, “We saw it with our own eyes. You don’t forget something like that. I don’t care what Kim Kardashian says – Kevin did it.”

Quanita added, “We should have been the first call.”

In 2010, Keith’s sentence was commuted to life without parole.

Whoopi Goldberg Blasts Fat Shaming Critic Over Her Role In “Till”

Whoopi Goldberg has slammed a film critic for claiming she wore a “fat suit” in the new movie “Till.”

During an appearance on “The View,”, the “Sister Act” actress called out an unnamed reviewer who made a comment about her wearing a “distracting fat suit” to portray Emmett Till’s grandmother, Alma Carthan, in the biographical feature.

However, during a conversation on the talk show, Whoopi noted that she wasn’t wearing a fat suit and looked different because she had suffered a variety of health issues in the lead-up to production beginning in September 2021.

“I don’t really care about how you felt about the movie. But you should know that was not a fat suit, that was me. That was me,” she fired. “That was steroids. Remember last year? I assume you don’t watch the show, or you would know that was not a fat suit. It’s O.K. not to be a fan of a movie, but you want to leave people’s looks out. Just comment on the acting. And if you have a question, ask somebody. I’m sure you didn’t mean to be demeaning.”

Directed by Chinonye Chukwu, “Till” is delves into the life of Mamie Till-Mobley and her fight for justice after the lynching of her 14-year-old son Emmett in 1955.

The film, which also features Danielle Deadwyler, Jalyn Hall, Frankie Faison, and Haley Bennett, is set to be released in U.S. cinemas on October 14th.

Antonio Brown Accused Of Using Lil Wayne To Run Scam That Netted Hundreds-Of-Thousands

Former football star/rapper Antonio Brown is back in headlines after a Florida music promoter alleged he beat him for $500,000.

In a lawsuit filed on Wednesday, October 6th, in a Sarasota County Circuit Court, a promoter for Secure the Bag Entertainment said Brown used Lil Wayne’s name to try and get a contract for $100,000.

The complaint alleged that the athlete breached his contract and defamed the company over an “exclusive artist agreement” between him and Secure the Bag Entertainment.

One allegation is that he sold the company’s owner, Ryan Kane a fake high-end watch for $160,000. Other complaints said he defrauded the company out of $178,000 in counterfeit expenses for reimbursement and made a bunch of sexist, racist, lewd, and threatening messages to several STB execs and others.

The lawsuit says the expenses included Brown spending $87,000 to rent a Los Angeles recording studio for five hours and about $8,500 to pay for some of Brown’s entourage to fly in a private jet.

It also states, when they refused to pay the expenses, the football player started making “defamatory statements on social media about STB writing bad checks and not paying their bills.”

Kane said he considers Brown nothing but a “liar and a thief.”

“Now I know how the Raiders felt when they paid him [at least $1 million], and he never played a single game for them,” Kane said.

“I gave him … a huge advance and an opportunity to make money legitimately, and all he did was walk off the field,” he continued.

According to Kane, he gave Brown a $150,000 advance to sign with his company, believing he would shoot a video to promote “Cracked,” a song he did with Lil Wayne.

But, after Brown told Kane that Lil Wayne wanted to be paid “$250,000 in cash” and that he would receive the money for the Young Money rapper, things got crazy when Brown threatened the man saying, “the check better be good.”

Kane wrote the check with good intentions but decided to stop payment after some thought.

As reported by AllHipHop.com, Antonio Brown is already in hot water after a video circulated of him exposing his private parts to a woman in a hotel pool in Dubai.

The New York Post reported after the video was made public, the troubled All-Pro wide receiver texted one of their reporters, saying, “do what u got to do p#### u white boys dead already.”

Justin Bieber Takes Drastic Measures After Kanye Attacked His Wife!

Kanye West and Justin Bieber may no longer be friends after the rap star attacked his wife earlier in the week during one of many Instagram tirades.

The straw that broke the camel’s back was Ye making fun of his wife’s nose and hanging out with other men – most notably Drake!

It started when Hailey defended Vogue Editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson after Kanye attacked her. When Yeezy heard about it, he basically called the young socialite “Nose Job Hailey Baldloose.”

He then said, “Get your girl before I get mad. You spose to be my friend right.”

After that, Kanye posted a picture of Hailey on a date with Drake in 2016.

AllHipHop.com reported that the bromance was on shaky ground earlier in the week.

Justin and his wife spent time in Kanye’s Wyoming estate when he was recording Donda. Back then, the two seemed to be very supportive of Kanye.

According to the TMZ, Justin believes he has always been a good friend to Kanye but has decided to distance himself after the attack on his wife.

Kanye has been pushing everyone off, including Adidas, which is considering pulling its deal with him. If that should happen, his net worth could be reduced by a few billion dollars.

Britney Spears Says F### You To Her Mom And Rejects Apology

Britney Spears has rejected her mother Lynne Spears’s apology to her.

Following the termination of her controversial conservatorship last November, the popstar has regularly criticized her family, including mum Lynne and father Jamie, for their treatment of her over the course of the 13-year arrangement.

Last week, Lynne pleaded for the 40-year-old’s forgiveness in the comments section of one of her Instagram posts, commenting that she was “soooo sorry” and asked that she unblock her so that they could speak in person.

Britney returned to Instagram and lashed out over Lynne’s attempt to reconcile.

“Mom take your apology and go f### yourself !!! And to all the doctors for f###### with my mind… I pray you all burn in hell !!! Kiss my mother f###### ass !!!!” she wrote.

In addition, Britney reiterated claims that she was “scared to move” during her stay at a mental health facility in 2019.

As for my whole family including my brother, sister, cousins, aunts, uncles, and well damn the whole audience…were either stoned or drunk of their a#### !!!” the Toxic hitmaker continued. “I was the mother f###### Saint who was scared to move or I knew my dad would put me somewhere if I didn’t cooperate… even in America, the land of the free !!!! Kanye West Says “White Lives Matter” Shirt A “Comment On Status Quo”

Kanye West responded to criticism of his ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt.

After receiving backlash for wearing the controversial top to his Yeezy fashion show in Paris on Monday, the Donda rapper addressed his critics in an Instagram post.

Alongside a Vanessa Beecroft image of a white woman holding two Black babies, Kanye referred to himself in third person and wrote, “Ye cares about black lives. Ye’s White Lives Matters is a comment on the status quo.”

The star continued by critiquing those who have commented on the shirt.

“When an artist like Ye challenges those framed spaces – in a dialectical way – he is persecuted. He puts the grand narratives at risk,” the 45-year-old recounted. “Ye proves that if artists have an opinion in territories that are unknown and new, like any true revolutionary, they are assaulted. Ye is an artist, Ye cares about all lives, all people, and he is working against all oppression.”

Earlier, Vogue editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson explained in her own Instagram post why the shirt’s message sparked criticism, arguing that by affirming White Lives Matter, Kanye was “trying to illustrate a dystopian world when whiteness might become extinct or at least would be in enough danger to demand defence.”

She continued, “But the danger is that, this very premise, the idea that white supremacy is in danger of extinction… is what justifies mass incarceration, murder on masse, indeed even the advent of slavery.”

Rapper Flo Rida Gives Back To Help After Hurricane Ian Leaves Community In Shambles

Florida native and rapper Flo Rida has kicked in to help those disenfranchised by Hurricane Ian, the category 4 storm that devastated the state when it touched down at the end of September.

The chart-topper partnered with Miami Gardens to team up with relief and rescue.

According to CBS Miami News, the “Low” rapper sponsored a trailer that will bring supplies to the Harlem Heights community, a neighborhood to the north of Fort Myers after they petitioned the city to help them.

He said, “I feel like it is very important that we give back, in any shape or form.”

“What we are doing is feeling up this trailer, so that we can go and help the community of Harlem Heights that’s going through the devastation,” he explained as he referenced what seemed to be a semi-trailer eighteen-wheeler filled with much-needed resources.

The star added, “It is important when you are blessed to be a blessing. From day one of my career, I always thought that if anything happens and I am financially stable, I am going to give back.”

The rapper stood with Reggie Leon, the vice mayor of Miami Gardens, who said, “It could be us next week. So, we want to make sure that we continue to support our sister city.”

In addition to helping those impacted by the hurricane, he went a local school in Miami Gardens and helped celebrate the school custodial engineers on National Custodian Day.

He posted on Instagram, “Scott Lake Elementary School welcome me and the @theimgallstars with open arms. Glad I was able to help show them that all positions in school is just as important as the next. @oyababyy @variefresh3 @intlnephew

In addition to the Hip-Hop star coming and inspiring the children to celebrate the janitors, the parents in the PTA took over the custodial staff’s duties for the day, and one employee who walks hours to and from work every day received a new car.
