Ray J Claims OnlyFans Would Not Exist Without Kim Kardashian Sex Tape

Ray J claims his infamous sex tape with Kim Kardashian changed “everything,” and the world would be an entirely different place if the recording never came to light.

According to the reality television personality, the 2007 tape changed the course of popular culture, leading to the creation of OnlyFans and a possible decline in college admissions.

Ray J opened up about the impact of the tape during an appearance on the latest episode of Club Shay Shay after Shannon Sharpe asked how different his life would be without it.

“The question is, how different would we all be,” he replied. “How different would this whole f###### thing be? How different would this industry be?” Answering his question, he added, “Everything would be different. We would all be different. All of us.”

Elaborating on his bold answer, Ray J continued. “Probably more people would be going to college and getting an education to be successful. There might not be any OnlyFans and other opportunities like that,” he added.

“So, are we a part of the cure or we a part of the disease? I don’t f###### know. All I know is I’m trying to make it right,” Ray J stated.

When Sharpe asked if he was “embarrassed when the tape came out,” Ray J paused for a long time before responding.

“Yeah,” Ray J admitted. “I have kids now. Everything that we did, now, when I have kids, is totally different. The whole thing is wacky. With my kids it’s not ok.”

Reason Believes Ice Spice & Her Team Made Grave Error With Debut Album Artwork

TDE rapper Reason believes Ice Spice’s team lacks critical thinking and attention to details skills.

In the wake of the “Deli” rapper sharing the cover artwork ahead of the July 26 release date of her upcoming debut album, Y2K, Reason couldn’t help but voice his own personal opinion about the visual direction of the project.

Opting for a thematic urban landscape theme, the Y2K cover showcases integral elements of New York City—such as the subway—and is stamped with Ice Spice’s signature.

Additionally, the Y2K album title itself is spraypainted on a trash can in a colorful graffiti tag format and is positioned adjacent to Ice Spice herself. In a quoted reply to the album announcement he shared on Twitter (X), Reason trashed the cover and criticized Ice Spice’s team for giving it the green light.

“Nobody caught putting the name on a trash can as a mistake? Being serious like somebody on the team gotta catch that right?” Reason wrote in the tweet

Users quickly flocked to the comment section of the post, where they both doubled down on Reason’s criticism, in addition to challenging it.

“Its ice spice not kdot its not music u need to think about,” one user trolled while another hit back directly in a reply that reads, “Her music makes her label more than his does TDE… he shouldn’t even be talking.”

It’s worth noting the user who claimed Ice Spice’s music catalog is more lucrative than Kendrick Lamar’s was accosted and labeled an “OV-Ho” for their remarks.

Considering it’s clear the cover was specifically crafted to cater to a gritty and NYC-centric ambiance, it’s hard to believe that Ice Spice’s team would have designed anything on it by mistake. One could also infer that the album title appearing on the trashcan may be a strategic tactic to drum up discussion and boost engagement on social posts announcing the release.

And it’s not like Ice Spice hasn’t previously leaned into less-than-flattering marketing strategies, i.e. the viral video of her putting on heels and proceeding to bite the dust after taking one step.

No matter the case, it will certainly be interesting to see how both this album cover and Reason’s tweet ages over the course of the next few months.

50 Cent Poses With Republican & Democrat Reps Amid Capitol Hill Hearing—Including Boebert

50 Cent may be ramping up his support of and or alignment with both conservative and liberal representatives amid his ongoing and long-running battle with spirits company Beam Suntory.

On Wednesday (June 5), the G-Unit Films mogul shared a series of posts on Instagram in which he was pictured side-by-side with elite members of the United States government during his trip to Capitol Hill and The White House with civil right attorney Ben Crump.

During his time in Washington D.C., 50 Cent visited with several congressional members including democratic reps Joyce Beatty (Ohio), Troy Carter (Louisiana) and former House speaker Nancy Pelosi.

In a photo he posted with Atlanta rep Nikema Williams, 50 Cent joked that he turned down her invitation to visit the city because “we already got Tyler [Perry] out there.” The most popular photo he shared, though, featured controversial Colorado Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert pinning her hair back as 50 Cent wrapped his arm around her waist.

“Lauren Boebert, Colorado Republican making the white house look good,” 50 Cent wrote in the post.

In addition to attracting more t han 70,000 likes within an hour, the post drew a number of notable public figures to the comment section, including former Rap City host Big Tigger.

“lol. She wanna g#### Fif too,” Tigger remarked, referring to Boerbert’s checkered past.

Boebert has been no stranger to controversy throughout her political career, frequently making headlines for her actions and statements. Among her many scandals, Boebert has faced criticism for her hardline stance on gun rights, once famously posing with a group of young children all holding firearms for a holiday card, which drew widespread backlash.

Last year, Boebert found herself embroiled in yet another scandal when she was reportedly kicked out of a Denver theatre for inappropriate behavior. Witnesses claimed she was vaping and groping her date’s groin during a performance, actions that were deemed disruptive and unacceptable by the theatre staff and reportedly prompted her removal.

Overall, it seems the “Window Shopper” rapper utilized his moment with the reps he posed with to his benefit, as he continued to apply pressure to Beam Sentry in subsequent posts.

50 Cent recently promised to take his grievances against Beam Suntory to Congress, after accusing employees of stealing millions of dollars from his brands, the dispute snowballed into a $6 million lawsuit.

“No matter what level you make it to there will always be obstacles,” 50 Cent wrote in a follow-up post. “@suntorygloblespirits insists on letting this be a on going problem. OK here we go!”

SIGNS: Wisconsin High School Graduate’s White Father Pushed Black Superintendent To Block Handshake

An unwarranted assault incident unfolded at a recent graduation ceremony in Wisconsin, promoting rumors of racism to disrupt what should have been a joyous celebration.

As the graduates of Baraboo High School were receiving their diplomas, a father, who hasn’t been identified in order to protect his daughter, pushed Superintendent Rainey Briggs away from his daughter forcibly negating their congratulatory handshake.

Briggs, a Black man, was approached by the graduate’s father, a white male dressed in a white polo shirt and baseball cap, after he ran onto the stage just moments after his daughter had been handed her diploma. School officials, including School Board President Kevin Vodak, and board members Gwynne Peterson, Katie Kalish, Amy DeLong, and Baraboo High School Principal Steve Considine, were all also present on stage during the incident but were not approached by the man.

Once the father reached the stage, he grabbed Briggs by the right arm and pushed him out of frame away from the girl.

“That’s my daughter,” the man was heard shouting in a video captured of the tense incident. Briggs responded, “You better get up off me man. Get away from me bro,” as staff and three police officers, including the school resource officer, intervened.

The confrontation did not escalate further, thanks to the prompt intervention of the officers who escorted the man off the stage and out of the venue. The district later confirmed that a disorderly conduct charge has been referred to the Sauk County District Attorney’s Office.

In a statement, the School District of Baraboo emphasized their commitment to student safety following the incident.

“Our primary focus remains on celebrating the achievements of our graduates. We want to ensure that the significance of this milestone and the hard work of our students are not overshadowed by this unfortunate event,” said district spokesperson Hailey Wagner.

The incident took place reportedly as a particularly volatile atmosphere hovers above the school district. A significant group of residents, including former district employees, have been vocally critical of Briggs and other administrators, and are currently attempting to recall School Board President Vodak. The recall campaign is currently in full swing and requires over 2,500 signatures by July 14 to force a recall election, which, if successful, could take place as early as late August or early September.

The school district confirmed an investigation is underway and assured the community that it is taking the incident very seriously and is working closely with law enforcement to ensure the safety and well-being of all students, staff, and community members.

Melyssa Ford Blasts “Lying” Cam’ron As Their Feud Refuses To Die

Melyssa Ford responded to accusations made by Cam’ron in a freestyle on his sports talk show It Is What It Is. Cam’ron claimed Ford reached out to music executives Kevin Liles and Steve Stoute to intervene in her feud with the Dipset rapper.

“A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth even gets out of bed and puts its pants on,” Ford wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter). “That [ninja emoji] is lying. I didn’t call anyone to deal with that bullsh**. And he’s still talking about it 6 months later. It’s giving… [thinkin emojis].”

Cam’ron mentioned Ford on the June 3 episode of It Is What It Is. Killa Cam referenced their beef, his infamous CNN interview and much more in a freestyle to open the show.

“Melyssa Ford called Kevin Liles/And Steve Stoute, what they gonna do? I’m Mr. Giles/We good, boo, Killa feeling better now/But don’t ever put my name near the word…” he rapped.

Cam’ron and Ford’s issues stemmed from her comments on a 2023 episode of the Joe Budden Podcast. The video vixen-turned-podcaster insinuated Cam’ron had sex with minors in reaction to a story about him going to a brothel in the ‘90s. Ford later apologized for her remarks.

“I apologize,” she said. “I should never have made that insinuation.”

Cam’ron didn’t accept her apology. He claimed it wasn’t genuine and threatened to sue her for defamation.

Kendrick Lamar Turns His Focus To Juneteenth After Heated Drake Battle

Kendrick Lamar plotted his next move following his memorable battle against Drake. K. Dot surprised fans by announcing a Juneteenth concert at The Forum in Inglewood, California.

“pgLang & Free Lunch Present The Pop Out: Ken & Friends,” Kendrick’s Instagram Stories post read. “June 19 The Forum. Exclusive Cash App card pre-sale Thursday, June 6. General on-sale Friday, June 7.”

The Cash App pre-sale is scheduled to go live at 10 a.m. PDT. It will end at 10 p.m. on Thursday with the general sale launching at 10 a.m. on Friday.

Kendrick’s concert will be his first time performing since he traded diss tracks with Drake. Their beef was fruitful for K. Dot, who scored two No. 1 hits by lyrically attacking Drake.

The battle began when Kendrick dissed Drake on Future and Metro Boomin’s song “Like That,” which reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Drake responded with “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle.” Kendrick fired back with “Euphoria” and “6:16 in LA.” “Euphoria” was produced by Cardo, who worked with both rappers and spoke about their feud in May.

“I respect them both,” Cardo said. “They’re both somebody I f### with. I’ve made history with both of them. And it’s good for Hip-Hop. Dot is the type of guy that will challenge anybody. He’ll challenge people in a game of hopscotch. He’s a competitive dude.”

Kendrick and Drake’s battle reached a new level once the latter dropped the diss track “Family Matters.” K. Dot quickly upstaged Drake by releasing “Meet the Grahams” less than an hour later. Kendrick unleashed his knockout blow “Not Like Us” the next day.

Drake reacted by dropping “The Heart Part 6,” but it failed to make as much of an impact as Kendrick’s songs. “Not Like Us” became a hit single, breaking streaming records and debuting at No. 1 on the Hot 100.

Sean Kingston Speaks Out For First Time Since Fraud Arrest

Sean Kingston celebrated his release from jail in an Instagram post on Wednesday (June 5). The embattled singer thanked his fans, lawyers and more as he faces million-dollar fraud charges.

“It’s great to be home!” he wrote. “A special thanks to God, my family, my friends and my legal team… Robert Rosenblatt, James Stark, Mark Geragos, Zeljka Bozanic, Pierre Pollas. And I cannot forget about my amazing fans, thank you for all your love and support! I love you guys!”

Kingston and his mother Janice Turner were arrested for an alleged fraud scheme in May. Kingston was taken into custody in California and extradited to Florida. His mother was apprehended following a raid on his home in Florida.

The Broward County Sheriff’s Office accused the two of stealing roughly $500,000 in jewelry, a Cadillac Escalade worth about $160,000, a custom bed that cost a little over $86,000 and more than $300,000 from banks. Kingston was hit with 10 charges, including committing an organized scheme to defraud and grand theft.

Kingston, whose real name is Kisean Anderson, was released on a $100,000 bond on Tuesday (June 4). He reportedly used his mortgage as collateral. His mother got out of jail a week earlier, posting a $160,000 bond in May. She faced eight charges for her alleged role in the fraud scheme.

Robert Rosenblatt, one of the attorneys representing Kingston, insisted his client did not commit any crimes.

“I don’t know who is claiming they owe money,” Rosenblatt told CBS Miami. “We were aware of the watches, we are aware of the TV issue.”

He added, “If there are other issues I’m not sure about … It’s a breach of contract. There’s no fraud here. There’s no organized fraud at all.”

Rosenblatt said he was “very confident” Kingston’s charges would eventually be dismissed.

Is 50 Cent Supporting Donald Trump In 2024 Presidential Election?

50 Cent admitted he’s an undecided voter ahead of the 2024 presidential election. A reporter asked the G-Unit boss if he stood by his past endorsement of Donald Trump after a Capitol Hill press conference on Wednesday (June 5).

“I’m not sure how to answer that question, to be honest with you,” 50 Cent said.

The reporter responded with a follow-up question, inquiring if 50 Cent made any decision regarding this year’s presidential race.

“I haven’t,” he said.

50 Cent went to Capitol Hill to speak with congressional leaders about his dispute with Suntory Global Spirits. He hired well-known attorney Benjamin Crump, who seemed eager to avoid the Trump-related questions, ahead of the trip to Washington, D.C.

“I am pleased to join the legal team representing Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson, as he is one of the most successful Black entrepreneurs in America, and even he is not immune to the bias treatment that faces minority business owners everyday,” Crump said. “He has been relentless in his fight to seek fairness and justice over the way he was treated by a corporate giant in the luxury spirits industry. Mr. Jackson’s journey has been a testament to how much a determined individual can succeed through hard work and vision, and yet he still must contend with the oppression that comes from being a minority business owner.”

50 Cent previously encouraged his Instagram followers to vote for Trump over tax concerns in 2020. The outspoken rapper backtracked following criticism from his ex-girlfriend Chelsea Handler.

“F### Donald Trump, I never liked him,” he wrote after she called him out in 2020.

50 Cent appeared to be flirting with the idea of supporting Trump in 2024. The Power franchise’s producer said, “Maybe Trump is the answer,” in reaction to New York’s migrant debit card program in February. 50 Cent also mentioned he thought Trump would be president again in March.

Those sentiments were expressed before Trump was convicted of 34 counts of falsifying business records. 50 Cent laughed at Trump receiving millions of dollars in donations following the guilty verdict, joking that “the world’s almost over just enjoy the moment and be happy” on Sunday (June 2).

Donald Trump Jr. Lashes Out At Eminem Over Viral Election Rumor

Donald Trump Jr. attacked Eminem over a baseless rumor involving Em and the 2024 presidential election on Wednesday (June 3). Trump Jr. helped spread a right-wing X (formerly known as Twitter) user’s post, which claimed Eminem plans to leave the country if Donald Trump Sr. gets re-elected.

“Are you really telling me that’s not Ellen DeGeneres????” Trump Jr. wrote, commenting on an Eminem photo attached to the viral post.

The original post received over 2 million views as MAGA supporters jumped on the unsubstantiated claim. X’s community notes feature tried to mitigate the misinformation by adding a disclaimer.

There was no evidence of Eminem saying he would leave the country, but the superstar made no secret he’s anti-Trump. Eminem famously bashed the former president in a cypher for the 2017 BET Hip-Hop Awards.

“Trump, when it comes to giving a s###, you’re stingy as I am/Except when it comes to having the balls to go against me, you hide ’em/’Cause you don’t got the f###### nuts like an empty asylum/Racism’s the only thing he’s fantastic for/’Cause that’s how he gets his f###### rocks off and he’s orange/Yeah, sick tan/That’s why he wants us to disband/’Cause he cannot withstand/The fact we’re not afraid of Trump/F### walking on egg shells, I came to stomp/That’s why he keeps screaming, ‘Drain the swamp!’/’Cause he’s in quicksand,” he rapped.

Eminem concluded, “And any fan of mine who’s a supporter of his/I’m drawing in the sand a line, you’re either for or against/And if you can’t decide who you like more and you’re split/On who you should stand beside, I’ll do it for you with this: f### you!/The rest of America, stand up/We love our military, and we love our country/But we f###### hate Trump.”

Trump Sr. was convicted of 34 counts of falsifying business records in May. He is scheduled to be sentenced on July 11.

Central Cee & Lil Baby’s “Band4Band” Breaks Streaming Record

British rap star Central Cee teamed up with American rap star Lil Baby for a new song. “Band4Band” made an instant commercial impact.

According to ChartData, “Band4Band” broke the record for most single-day Spotify streams by a rapper from the United Kingdom. Central Cee’s collaboration with Lil Baby racked up 5.26 million streams on May 31.

“Band4Band” then topped the record again by pulling in an additional 5.38 million Spotify streams on June 3. The track has peaked at No. 11 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart.

Central Cee and Lil Baby also succeeded on America’s Billboard Hot 100 chart. “Band4Band” opened at No. 22 on those weekly rankings. That gave Cee his highest Hot 100 debut of his career.

Previously, Central Cee made it into the Hot 100’s Top 40 as a feature on J. Cole’s 2024 song “H.Y.B.” The Might Delete Later track spent one week on the chart at No. 35.

During his run as a recording artist, Atlanta-bred rapper Lil Baby has earned 140 entries on the Hot 100 chart. The It’s Only Me album creator has 13 Top 10 hits in his discography.

“Band4Band” landed at No. 4 on the UK’s Official Singles Chart. Central Cee has eight Top 10 singles and one No. 1 single in his home country. “Sprinter” with Dave debuted in the pole position.

Ray J Says Diddy Needs An “Exorcism Fast” After Seeing Cassie Assault Video

Ray J is one of many weighing in on the video of Diddy savagely beating ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura captured in hotel surveillance video in 2016.

In a recent interview with the Art of Dialogue, the Love & Hip Hop personality was asked about the graphic clip and if it means Diddy is over. In so many words, Ray J said Diddy will never recover and needs help beyond the physical realm.

“It’s not OK,” he said of the physical abuse caught on tape. “When somebody is around somebody and we’re counting on them to be our one of our leaders in a space that we’re all trying to get to that’s not acceptable to do and it’s not OK. I mean, it might be forgivable in a sense of a spiritual realm of life or forgive everybody but it’s unforgettable, and that’s where you just draw the line on friendship and hanging out and supporting and being cool. It’s like n##### it’s done, and that’s it.

“And it’s not and it’s not something that n##### can just take lightly. You cannot do that. Not OK. It’s not cool. Period. [The video] was heartbreaking and shameful and unacceptable I’ve never seen nothing like that.
I’ve never seen nothing like that in the history of my life, so that’s a new for me. I don’t know what kind of demon you are, but somebody need to muthafuckin’ perform an exorcism fast.”

And while Ray J seemed to understand Diddy will financially survive, he also suggested the Bad Boy Records mogul will fade into the background and be ostracized in certain circles.

“Life in this industry goes on without certain people because their membership club is revoked, their membership in the club is revoked,” he continued. “It’s over, so you don’t have room to make mistakes like that in the big club—you can’t do that. It’s inexcusable. If you threw a party tonight, the people are your invitation list—that club.

“The people who throw a party tomorrow, a foundation, could be anything. Anything that has substance to it is no longer available for certain people to be invited to.”

DDG Responds To Skepticism About His Feature Fee Allegedly Being $750K

DDG built a YouTube following partly because of his popular prank videos. The vlogger-turned-rapper is known to troll his followers.

As a result of his history of being a prankster, some social media users questioned DDG’s recent comments about his feature rate. He claimed to demand a $750,000 fee for a guest verse.

In addition, the Michigan-born entertainer said he makes $1 million for a music video appearance. Those numbers ignited an online conversation about the Maybe It’s Me… album creator.

DDG reacted to the feature rate discourse. He tweeted, “I charged $2 million when ‘Moonwalking’ was hot, y’all betta get the discounted feature now before I get my next hit.”

The “Moonwalking in Calabasas” single earned 2x-platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. The 2020 release also peaked at No. 81 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Additionally, DDG scored gold RIAA plaques for 2020’s “Arguments,” 2021’s “Hood Melody,” and 2023’s “I’m Geekin.” None of those singles charted on the Hot 100.

The Epic Records-backed performer has been featured on tracks by acts like Blueface, Almighty Jay, and Bfb Da Packman. His most famous non-music union is with singer/actress Halle Bailey, the mother of his newborn child.

DDG also jokingly posted, “[Alright] since y’all think I’m taxing, I’ll throw in a YouTube mukbang, one picture with my son & a free FaceTime call with Woo Wop. Last offer.”

Lonzo Ball Blasts Referee Who Ejected Angel Reese From WNBA Game

WNBA player Angel Reese became a trending topic on social media once again. The Chicago Sky forward got ejected during her basketball game against the New York Liberty on Tuesday (June 4).

In the closing minutes of the game, referee Charles Watson whistled Angel Reese for a personal foul. Watson then gave Reese two technical fouls after she apparently said something to the official about the call.

Lonzo Ball of the NBA’s Chicago Bulls came to Angel Reese’s defense on X. The “ZO2” rapper called out Charles Watson. Additionally, Ball suggested he would pay the $400 fine for the double-tech on Reese.

“Ref that threw out @Reese10Angel is weak [by the way]… You know who you are (Keep ya money, Angel. I got you),” Lonzo Ball tweeted around 10:15 pm ET on Tuesday. Reese responded, “Appreciate you gang!”

Chicago Sky head coach Teresa Weatherspoon spoke about Reese’s ejection during a postgame news conference. Weatherspoon stated, “I tried to get an explanation. I did not. I don’t know to this moment what has happened.”

Angel Reese is one of the standout stars of the WNBA’s 2024 rookie class. Her rivalry with Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark, which began at the collegiate level, generated high interest in women’s basketball since the 2023 NCAA Division I tournament.

“So many people are watching women’s basketball right now. It all started from the national championship game, and I’ve been dealing with this for two years now,” Reese declared following outrage over her Sky teammate Chennedy Carter’s controversial flagrant foul on Caitlin Clark.

Angel Reese also stated, “The reason why we’re watching women’s basketball is not just because of one person. It’s because of me, too. I want y’all to realize that… There are so many great players in this league that have deserved this for a really, really long time.”

NLE Choppa Faces Backlash For Performing “S### Me Out 2” At Bat Mitzvah

NLE Choppa upset some people online. Footage of the 21-year-old rapper performing “S### Me Out 2” at a Jewish coming-of-age ceremony for pre-teens ignited controversy.

“Why don’t y’all bash men for promoting inappropriate songs in front of children like y’all do to female rappers? Mind y’all bat mitzvah are for 12-year-olds,” an X user posted on Monday (June 3).

The following day, NLE Choppa responded, “I performed the clean version to this song at the bat mitzvah actually!! And the kids rapped the curse words loud and clear in front of their parents [anyway]!!”

He also tweeted, “Mfers get mad at me for performing, doing my job when y’all kids be out here doing all type of grown activities. Yea skipping 3rd period to get that lil cherry pop under the bleachers. MF better worry bout that.”

NLE Choppa dropped “S### Me Out 2” on April 12, 2024. The track serves as the sequel to 2022’s “S### Me Out” which became a Top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

After premiering “S### Me Out 2” at the Rolling Loud California festival in March, some fans began questioning NLE Choppa’s sexuality. However, the Memphis native has stated he identifies as heterosexual.

Jermaine Dupri Knocks Sexyy Red’s “In Sexyy We Trust” Project Only Selling 27K Units

Sexyy Red dropped her third mixtape, In Sexyy We Trust, on May 24. The 14-track project reportedly debuted with around 27,000 first-week units.

Music industry veteran Jermaine Dupri, 51, spoke about Sexyy Red’s five-figure opening during the SelectCon conference in Atlanta. The So So Def label founder used the numbers as an example of why rap music has not been as commercially successful in recent years.

“The industry still tries to make you believe that if you’re a hot artist and you got a single, that selling albums don’t matter,” Jermaine Dupri told Steve Stoute. “Sexyy Red’s album only doing 28,000 copies. In the era that I came in the music industry, if you sold 28,000 copies, you didn’t get no other chance to even walk in the building again.”

Jermaine Dupri went on to suggest top music acts during the height of his career moved 80,000-900,000 units. For example, Dupri’s 1998 album Life in 1472 sold more than 162,000 copies in its opening week, granted it was the pre-streaming era.

In Sexyy We Trust landed at No. 17 on the latest Billboard 200 album chart. Sexyy Red’s most recent body of work became the highest-charting project of her career.

2023’s Hood Hottest Princess amassed a reported 8,000 first-week units for a No. 193 start, but it eventually peaked at the Billboard 200’s No. 62 position.

Sexyy Red scored a Top 20 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with “Get It Sexyy” off In Sexyy We Trust. The 26-year-old rhymer also made it into the Hot 100’s Top 20 as a feature on Drake’s “Rich Baby Daddy” with SZA.

50 Cent Recruits Ben Crump For Congressional Battle Against Spirits Brand In Washington

50 Cent is making good on his promise to take his grievances against Beam Suntory to Congress, and he’s recruited renowned civil rights and personal injury attorney Ben Crump to join him in Washington D.C.

The entertainment mogul is embroiled in a long-running battle with the spirits company. After accusing employees of stealing millions of dollars from his brands, the dispute snowballed into a $6 million lawsuit.

50 Cent tapped Ben Crump to join his legal team in the fight to increase minority representation in the multibillion-dollar luxury spirits industry.

Crump will join 50 Cent for a meeting with Congressional Leaders on Capitol Hill on Wednesday (June 5) at 10 a.m. ET. The G-Unit honcho said they will meet with “the Congressional Black Caucus about how @suntoryglobalspirits has damaged my business.”

On Tuesday (June 4) 50 Cent posted an AI-generated image of himself and Crump with a warning to Beam Suntory.

“You can change your name from @beamsuntory @suntoryglobalspirits but you still robbed him,” Fiddy wrote in the caption. “I just want mines. Tell your friends in your discus meeting, you  haven’t been under compliance at all.”

In a statement, Ben Crump praised 50 Cent “as he is one of the most successful Black entrepreneurs in America.” However, he noted, “even he is not immune to the bias treatment that faces minority business owners everyday.”

Crump said 50 Cent has been “relentless in his fight to seek fairness and justice.”  Nonetheless, “he still must contend with the oppression that comes from being a minority business owner.”

He also affirmed his commitment to helping 50 Cent demonstrate “the power of the consumers to make corporate America allow a seat at the table for hard-working Black entrepreneurs.”

Sean Kingston Out On $100,000 Bond As Lawyer Insists “There Is No Organized Fraud”

Sean Kingston walked out of jail on Tuesday evening (June 4) after posting bond following his arrest last month.

Footage shows Kingston leaving Florida’s Broward County jail with a white towel covering his head. He faced questions about his charges from reporters waiting outside the jail but only responded when asked if the car that took him away was rented. “It is mine,” he replied before adding, “check the license plate.”

CBS News Miami reports Kingston’s mother Janice Turner and other relatives were waiting outside for over an hour. Turner was arrested on the same day as her son and is out on $160,000 bond amidst eight fraud and theft charges.

A Broward County judge set a $100,000 bond for the singer on Monday (June 3). Court video shows Kingston listening as the judge read the 10 criminal charges.

Kingston and his mother allegedly defrauded multiple businesses totalling more than a million dollars. They faced grand theft charges for a Cadillac Escalade valued at $159,701, $480,000 worth of jewelry and a $86,568 bed. Other related charges include Kingston defrauding banks and writing bad checks.

Meanwhile, Bob Rosenblatt, Kingston and Turner’s attorney, intends to request a jury trial. He told the outlet he is “very confident” he can get the charges dismissed.

He claimed his clients are innocent of all charges.  “Well, I don’t know who is claiming they owe money. You know, we were aware of the watches, we are aware of the TV issue,” Rosenblatt stated.

“If there are other issues I’m not sure about… It’s a breach of contract. There’s no fraud here. There’s no organized fraud at all,” he added.
