MediaTakeOut claimed an unnamed “high-level” executive confirmed 50 Cent would become the brand ambassador for Cîroc. 50 even played into the rumors on social media.
“Good morning people start the day off with positive energy, and make what your heart desires happen,” 50 tweeted on Monday (April 1). The longtime Diddy rival included a screenshot of the MediaTakeOut headline about Cîroc.
According to TMZ, a Cîroc source disputes 50 Cent will be Diddy’s new replacement for the Diageo-owned alcoholic company. In addition, someone connected to 50 insisted the G-Unit boss remains focused on Sire Spirits.
Diddy partnered with Diageo in a shared venture to promote and market Cîroc in 2007. The two sides eventually got embroiled in a lawsuit over alleged racial discrimination and contract breaches.
“Sean Combs and Diageo have now agreed to resolve all disputes between them,” read a joint statement from both parties. “Mr. Combs has withdrawn all of his allegations about Diageo and will voluntarily dismiss his lawsuits against Diageo with prejudice.”
Trippie Redd is claiming a DNA test has determined he is not the father of a child previously announced as his son.
He confessed during a conversation with YouTuber and rapper DDG, who recently welcomed a child with Halle Bailey. DDG attempted to talk fatherhood with Redd, pointing out they “had a kid around the same time.”
However, Trippie Redd quickly shut him down, claiming, “Bruh, I got a DNA test. I don’t even got a kid.”
He continued, “I swear, bro. I thought I did, and then I told the world that. Like, ahead of time, I never got no DNA test. And I ended up getting a DNA test and it wasn’t my kid.”
Redd revealed he got the paternity test on his mother’s advice and said the result left him confused.
“I feel like all the things I was going through during that time was like, really f###### with me,” he added. “That’s why I couldn’t go on tour, or like, couldn’t do shows and s###. I couldn’t really get in my s####, and feel good and s###. It was a lot of s### going on. Just a lot of confusion. I mean, it’s life. A lot of s### just happens. Maybe it happened for a reason.”
Last November, Trippie Redd announced he was the father of a little boy and posted images of the newborn on social media. He claimed the little boy was named Saint Michael White, the same name as an EP he released that month.
Furthermore, Trippie Redd announced he canceled his “Take Me Away Tour” “because I had to deliver my son.”
JT is calling out unnamed haters for “sneak dissing” while trying to compete with her.
The City Girls rapper took to social media Wednesday (April 3) with a message to her haters, warning them not to play with her.
“B###### be Sneak dissing letting they flunky wanna be ME ass friends hype they head up,” she began. “But when I come just know I’m not gone play with neither one of yall b###### yall long over due! HATING ASS B####!”
JT continued talking to her anonymous rivals, insisting she is a loyal friend, not a competitor.
“I’m the most supportive b#### ever with receipts! But some where in a b#### air ass head I’m their competition! Out of ALL these b###### who dick you ride you wanna pick me as your enemy L O S E R!” she added.
Fans in the replies had no idea who she was referring to and urged her to be direct and name names.
“Girl can you put an @ on it? Why is it that every day you subbing? You know I love you DOWNNNN but sista if it’s pressure, you betta step behind it,” one person wrote.
However, after spending time texting her fans, JT returned to respond to a comment about her Beats By Dre x Mowalola campaign photoshoot.
While one admirer posted an image from the shoot, noting that it’s not celebrated enough, not everybody was a fan. “what is there to talk about?” one user replied.
JT, who faced backlash following the stunning high fashion photoshoot, was quick to clap back.
“It’s always your type hating on black women,” she replied before adding a nauseated face emoji
50 Cent believes things are looking grim for Diddy following reports Cassie Ventura is cooperating with the federal investigation into the Hip-Hop mogul following the recent Homeland Security raids.
On Wednesday (April 3), TMZ reported Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Ventura is one of multiple witnesses working the feds. A source told the outlet she has been talking to investigators for weeks.
50 Cent has relentlessly trolled Diddy since the allegations first surfaced and continued his campaign after catching wind of reports about Ventura cooperating with the feds.
“oh yeah, it’s not looking good for the Diddler. LOL,” he wrote on Instagram alongside a screenshot of the TMZ report.
It’s unclear if Ventura was working with the feds before the raids on Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami last month. However, the lawyer who represented her in the blockbuster lawsuit against Diddy voiced strong support for the raids.
The former couple swiftly settled the lawsuit a day after filing. Ventura painted a disturbing picture of her time with Diddy in court documents. She accused him of rape, multiple sexual and physical assaults. The singer also claimed he plied her with drugs and alcohol and forced her to have sex with male prostitutes at “freak off” parties while he watched.
Seven new individuals have reportedly stepped forward to cooperate with authorities. At least three Jane Does and one John Doe have already been interviewed. Three more Jane Does were scheduled for discussions.
A Department of Homeland Security source recently confirmed, “We are getting a lot of cooperation from a lot of people.
“We believe that there is a disturbing history of sex trafficking,” the Miami-based officer explained. “We are responding to concrete, detailed, explicit allegations. This is not random. We didn’t choose his name out of a hat. We had allegations that we’re following up on.”
Diddy’s lawyer branded the federal raids an “unprecedented ambush” and maintained his client’s innocence in the face of mounting allegations.
Stevie J is continuing his staunch defense of Diddy, sharing a video of one of the Bad Boy Records founder’s celebrity parties.
In a recent interview, the veteran producer emphasized their 29-year-long friendship and insisted he’s never witnessed Diddy do “anything foul,” despite the mounting allegations. He also accused 50 Cent and others of spreading “lies and propaganda,” about Diddy.
On Wednesday (April 3), Stevie J attempted to dispel the rumors with a behind-the-scenes look at one of the embattled Hip-Hop mogul’s events.
The video shows Diddy parting with celebs like Jay-Z, Nas, Dr. Dre, Kanye West, Cardi B, The Weeknd, and many more. In one scene, everybody raises their glasses in a toast to Diddy.
“This is what a real Diddy Party looks like,” Stevie J captioned the black and white clip.
Rumors have swirled about what goes down at Diddy’s parties following Cassie Ventura’s bombshell lawsuit. She alleged Diddy coerced her into having sex with male prostitutes while Diddy watched, masturbated, took pictures and shot videos. He called them “freak-offs.”
Stevie J was named multiple times in the lawsuit filed by Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones against Diddy. Rod accused Diddy of sexual harassment. He also assault and claimed he was forced to watch a video of Stevie J. having sex with another man. Rod included screencaps allegedly taken from the video in his legal filing.
Cardi B and Ice Spice fans can rest assured there is no bad blood between the pair, despite what the rumors suggest.
The Bronx rappers celebrated their Dominican heritage after Cardi referenced Spice in a heated social media discussion about race.
“Same reason why you felt comfortable calling me a Mexican when I’m Dominican I asked you why you feel comfortable calling me a Mexican when ice and jharell Jerome Zoe Saldana are Dominicans and you don’t do that to them,” she stated.
However, Ice Spice caught wind of Cardi’s remarks and replied with a quote tweet. “no offense bardi its c## i have a dominican parent & a black one,” she wrote.
While Cardi didn’t take offense, she clarified her heritage and emphasized her point.
“I think there might be some confusion on what was said. I asked why he feels so comfortable calling me Mexican?” she replied, adding, “I have no Mexican parents. My mom is Trini.. she came out of a whole black woman. My father is Dominican…I’m Dominican just like you. I also used other Dominicans as an example because as you should know a lot of times we get clustered into one because of the language.”
Before signing off, Cari B asked Ice Spice to send her the photo they took together at a recent Vanity Fair Party.
I think there might be some confusion on what was said. I asked why he feels so comfortable calling me Mexican? I have no Mexican parents. My mom is Trini.. she came out of a whole black woman. My father is Dominican…I’m Dominican just like you. I also used other Dominicans as… https://t.co/p55fhPssMK
Cardi B recently explained why she refused to release her remix of Ice Spice’s breakthrough song “Munch.”
“I did do a thing for Ice Spice, but I just did not like how it sound,” she admitted, before adding, “I love the record. I did not like how I sound. You know it being on a drill beat, it’s not as easy as it look. I just feel like, ‘Oh my God … They’re gonna drag me and they’re going to drag the song bad.’”
In a recent AHH interview, Philly rap artist E-Ness revealed that Dave Chappelle was never initially intended to portray Dylan on the “Chappelle Show.” E-Ness maintains firmly that Chappelle’s involvement only occurred because he failed to show up for the show’s taping. Reflecting on the six-minute skit from two decades ago, I revisited it and found it to be much funnier than I remembered. It’s downright hilarious!
In another recent interview, Dylan expressed that his music career was totally marred by the 2004 skit on the Diddy-helmed MTV show “Making The Band.” Ness echoed this sentiment to Chuck Jigsaw Creekmur and DJ Thoro, suggesting that Da Band could have continued if they had remained unified as a group. Unfortunately, we’ll never know the outcome, as Ness and Dylan are currently “beefing.”
Check out the video on our Instagram, and then consider Dylan’s perspective on the matter.
So, this seems like it should be settled, but it isn’t. If you look in the comments, there’s a pinned one from Dylan. The beloved reggae artist has a different recollection of the situation. However, he didn’t elaborate on what that was. He only mentions that he advised Ness not to lie and that he has receipts. We had hoped to speak to Dylan, but something prevented that from happening. I won’t say what, but I know what it is.
“I told him not to lie. Ok. Wait till I show you these receipts. Yow @brooklynbabs remember what I told you 😂😂😂. This about to be fun” – Dylan
Despite the numerous laughing emojis, it’s evident that bro is very upset about this narrative. I believe we’ll eventually hear what he has to say.
In the meantime, check out the full interview with E-Ness.
Lil Zay Osama pleaded not guilty to possession of a machine gun and possession of an unregistered firearm in New York on Wednesday (April 3). The charges stemmed from him leaving an illegal machine gun in a rideshare vehicle.
The Chicago rapper, whose real name is Isaiah Dukes, was arrested for gun possession in September 2022. He was indicted on the weapons charges in January.
“As alleged, Dukes brought a machine gun into our district and then dangerously left it in the back of a rideshare,” U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York Breon Peace said. “This office, together with our law enforcement partners, will continue to work diligently to protect our communities from such dangerous weapons.”
Peace added, “Machine guns have no place on the streets of our communities. They are weapons intended to kill and injure with maximum effect, with the shooter often firing uncontrollably and indiscriminately. They pose a significant danger to both the public and law enforcement.”
Prosecutors accused Lil Zay Osama of carrying a loaded Glock pistol affixed with a switch with him in New York on September 29, 2022. Police arrested him after he allegedly left the weapon in a rideshare vehicle that transported him from a Manhattan hotel to a Queens recording studio.
A New York judge ordered Lil Zay Osama to be detained pending trial at Wednesday’s hearing, per Chicago’s WGN-TV. His next court date is scheduled for May 21. The 26-year-old artist faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted on all counts.
Last December, Lil Zay Osama and two other men were arrested following a high-speed chase in Illinois. He was charged with possession of a loaded machine gun, theft of stolen goods valued between $10,000 and $100,000, and possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number.
Joyner Lucas just pulled the “show me my opponent” card and to be honest, it feels like he threw it down in front of Kendrick Lamar as if he was in the moment, frantically slamming down a draw four card during a competitive Uno game night.
Optics wise, the fact Kendrick was able to upend the rap game once again with his feature verse on “Like That” with Future and Metro Boomin 10 years after doing so via his feature verse on Big Sean’s “Control” is pure insanity.
However, looking through that same lens, it’s almost even more insane that Lucas indirectly triple-dog dared Kendrick to see him in the booth, even after witnessing the mess his latest verse caused. Nevertheless, during his recent radio interview, Lucas appeared to challenge not only Kung Fu Kenny, but the entire top tier of rappers in Hip-Hop to try him so he can show the game what he’s about.
“I Just stay in my pocket and pray to God and hope that somebody disses me first,” Lucas said with a cold blooded mug on his face. “Because then I’m not technically wrong for the spot going crazy, right? So any rappers out there, if you listening to this s###, please even on some competitive s### diss me.”
Taking things a step further, Lucas made his intent clear that he’s gunning for the HNIC’s of Hip-Hop, not the little Lil’s or the wanna-be, clout-chasing newcomers.
“I’m not talking about the minions or none of these little n#####, independent m############ rappers trying to come up and try to use my name and to get pop, I’m talking, talking about the n##### that are on already, you feel me?” he said.
He continued, “All of the big n###s, pause, and n###s in the game, you know what I’m saying? And n##### that say something, n##### that went platinum before, you know what I’m saying? N###s that are on my level all my way, them n##### not the, you know what I mean.”
As he continued, Lucas was literally foaming at the mouth, essentially begging rap artists to tag him into the royal rumble. “Let me jump out the, please, tap me in,” he said. “Tap me in my n###a. I feel like bullying n##### sometimes.”
What y’all think? Do you need these bars from Lucas and Kendrick or can ole boy keep em? To keep it a buck, it seems like Lucas has been bout that action ever since he and Machine Gun Kelly exchanged words in 2022, when Joyner threatened to “lyrically destroy him.” Apparently, he got that dog in ’em, so somebody gotta let him off the leash!
Serious allegations have surfaced against an investigator working for the District Attorney’s office in the ongoing RICO trial involving Jeffery Williams, known professionally as Young Thug, and his YSL associates,
A witness, whose identity remains confidential for their safety, accused an investigator identified by his last name of Hamilton of engaging in inappropriate conduct, equating to sexual harassment.
This claim has introduced a new layer of controversy around a highly publicized trial already scrutinized for using Hip-Hop lyrics as prosecutorial evidence.
The witness revealed unsettling details about her interactions with the District Attorney’s office, particularly with Hamilton, who allegedly pursued her under the guise of discussing the case.
According to defense attorney Keith Adams, she felt compelled to bring her 20-year-old son to meetings for protection.
This drastic measure was prompted after Hamilton reportedly isolated the witness, forbade communication with others regarding the case, and made unprofessional advances, including an invitation for a personal outing post-trial.
This testimony was part of the larger RICO case against Young Thug and 27 others, linked to the Young Slime Life gang, an affiliate of the Bloods.
The indictments span across 65 counts, implicating the defendants in a host of serious crimes, from murder to drug trafficking.
Notably, the attempt to prosecute based partly on Williams’ lyrics has ignited a debate on artistic expression versus evidentiary relevance, with significant implications for Hip-Hop and freedom of speech.
Metro Boomin has revealed he was involved in a not-so-elaborate hacker scam that almost cost him his accounts and nearly $23,000 in Balenciaga.
In a string of tweets, Metro made multiple bombshell claims, but the main one revolves around a would-be hacker gaining control of his iCloud and social media accounts, in addition to his Verizon cell phone number. In his initial tweet, Metro claimed he merely regained control as of the time of his Twitter (X) post.
“Jus got my phone # and accounts back today somebody hacked me the day the album dropped smh,” Metro wrote in part. “and all those corny ass tweets all my day 1s know that’s nowhere in my character All positivity always on my end We blessed It’s all love [Heart emojis].”
jus got my phone # and accounts back today somebody hacked me the day the album dropped smh
Things started to get juicy right afterwards though, as Metro seemingly points to Drake’s home country of Canada being involved, revealing he was receiving back-to-back calls from numbers with a (416) area code coincidently based in Toronto.
It all started 2 days before the album dropped and all these 416 numbers would call me back 2 back a million times. It got so bad I had to keep my phone on airplane mode pic.twitter.com/g0nUfdE03q
As if the story couldn’t get any more elaborate, Metro Boomin went on to layout the wildest story of how the alleged scammer attempted to finesse his Balenciaga rep for over $23,000 in goods.
He also claimed the hacker was trying to get items sent to Houston, even though he was in Atlanta. And I know what you’re thinking, “Bro you’re reaching this has nothing to do with Drake, even though he bought a house in Houston.” Nine times out of 10 I’d agree too, but this being the tenth time and Metro Boomin seemingly leaked an address in Houston on purpose makes me think otherwise. Even though I know Drake isn’t living in an apartment.
In the likely event Metro Boomin didn’t leak Drake’s address, it is worth noting he ended up dropping tweets confirming he tweeted the infamous “Pick a side” tweet and confirmed he wasn’t sneak dissing 21 Sabage so who cold it be.
But as GloRilla would say, at the end of the day they got to end and it appears Metro is ending his day on a semi uninhabited basis. Until then, check out the post below running down entire story chronologically.
Kim Kardashian, the icon behind the popular Skims brand, has recently been criticized by fans after a conspicuous typo was spotted on a piece of her bridal lingerie collection.
The social media mogul and businesswoman, renowned for her meticulous attention to detail in her diverse range of beauty, fashion, and lifestyle ventures, seems to have overlooked an embarrassing grammatical mistake on a pair of Skims underpants designed for brides.
The product in question, a thong featuring whimsical, wedding-themed phrases embroidered directly onto the fabric, aimed to combine Skims’ signature comfort with playful nods to marriage.
Phrases like “Foreva eva” and “Future Wifey” were intended to add a personalized touch to the bridal experience.
However, the charm was somewhat diluted for customers and fans when an incorrect version of “You’re Mine” was embroidered as “Your Mine” on the lingerie.
The error quickly attracted attention online, with a Reddit user initially pointing out the mistake.
“Omg this typo! She should be humiliated!” the user exclaimed, prompting a flurry of reactions from the community. Many expressed disbelief that such a glaring error could bypass multiple stages of review and make it into the final product.
“That is so embarrassing how does that even get past design planning?!?” commented one follower, echoing the sentiments of many who were puzzled by the oversight.
Another chimed in, highlighting the collective bemusement: “how could this get past so many people without anyone noticing?”
In a comedic turn, some followers proposed that the typo might have been an intentional, if cryptic, reference to something else entirely.
“Maybe it’s not a typo and it really means ‘your mine’ as in mine field,” joked a user, adding a playful note to the ongoing discussion.
Kim Kardashian and the Skims team responded to the typo controversy by pulling the thongs off the market.
Nonetheless, the incident has sparked a lively exchange among the brand’s followers, blending critique with humor over the unexpected slip in Skims’ typically polished image.
Jay-Z’s Made in America festival will not return in 2024. Festival organizers announced the event’s cancellation for the second year in a row on Wednesday (April 3).
“Made In America will not take place in 2024,” festival organizers wrote on social media. “Since its inception, this groundbreaking festival has celebrated music & community – from creating a space for fans to connect, to uplifting local small businesses & shining a light on important causes. It has strived for accessibility, eliminating barriers through affordable tickets and location.”
They added, “As purveyors of change, the Made In America executive production team is reimagining a live music experience that affirms our love and dedication to music and the work we do. We promise an exciting return to the festival.”
Made in America was canceled “due to severe circumstances outside of production control” weeks before it was supposed to be held in 2023. Lizzo and SZA were booked to headline last year’s festival. Ice Spice, Coi Leray and Latto were among the other notable acts scheduled to perform.
Jay-Z founded Made in America in 2012. The festival was held annually during Labor Day weekend in Philadelphia.
The COVID-19 pandemic forced the festival to be put on hold in 2020. The festivities resumed in 2021 and continued in 2022 before last year’s cancellation. Former Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney expected Made in America to return in 2024.
“We are grateful for all the partners and festival goers who have contributed to this event’s incredible success over the years, especially our partners at Roc Nation,” Kenney said in 2023. “We look forward to bringing Made in America back and bigger than ever to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway next year.”
Festival organizers never applied for a permit in 2024. Current Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker has not commented on Made in America’s latest cancellation.
Chance the Rapper and his wife Kirsten Corley announced their divorce on Wednesday (April 3). The two revealed they separated before deciding to end their five-year marriage.
“After a period of separation, the two of us have arrived at the decision to part ways,” they said in a joint statement. “We came to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together. God has blessed us with two beautiful daughters who we will continue to raise together. We kindly ask for privacy and respect as we navigate this transition. Thank you.”
Chance married Corley in 2019, the same year he released his debut albumThe Big Day. The album became the source of countless memes due to its focus on the couple’s marriage. The project spawned the “I love my wife” joke, which followed Chance for years.
Last year, Chance faced scrutiny for his antics at Carnival. Viral footage showed him participating in a racy dance with another woman, sparking debates about whether or not it was appropriate behavior for a married man. Corley reacted to the conversation by quoting the late Maya Angelou in an Instagram post.
“Most people don’t grow up,” Angelou said. “It’s too damn difficult. What happens is most people get older. That’s the truth of it. They honor their credit cards, they find parking spaces, they marry, they have the nerve to have children, but they don’t grow up. Not really. They get older. But to grow up costs the earth, the earth. It means you take responsibility for the time you take up, for the space you occupy. It’s serious business. And you find out what it costs us to love and to lose, to dare and to fail. And maybe more, to succeed.”
A rep for Chance claimed the couple was “all good” following the controversy. But their relationship went sour in subsequent months as the two called it quits.
Rod Wave landed in a Florida jail on Wednesday (April 3). According to the Tampa Bay Times, the rapper was arrested in connection to an ongoing investigation by St. Petersburg police. He was booked by the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
The Alamo Records artist was charged with two counts of illegally possessing a firearm or ammunition as a convicted felon. He remains in custody in Manatee County.
Rod Wave’s attorneys Bradford Cohen and Mark Rankin claimed the rapper is not a convicted felon.
“The officers that made the arrest are incorrect,” they told TMZ. “He is not a convicted felon and has never been a convicted felon. We would have hoped additional research would have been done prior to them filing these charges.”
His lawyers intended to pursue legal action over what they believed was a wrongful arrest.
“As with any case we will hold those parties that made the error accountable for their actions,” they declared.
St. Petersburg police Chief Anthony Holloway planned to announce “several major arrests in an ongoing investigation” at a press conference scheduled for 4 p.m. ET. Police refused to release more details ahead of the conference.
Rod Wave, whose real name is Rodarius Marcell Green, previously caught a felony battery charge in 2022. He was accused of choking his ex-girlfriend. Prosecutors dismissed the case a few weeks after his arrest.
“We are thrilled that this misunderstanding is behind him and he can move forward with a successful career,” Cohen wrote on Instagram in 2022. “Sometimes misunderstandings can be misconstrued and it isn’t until all the evidence and witnesses are reviewed that the right decision is made by the States Attorney. We thank the Osceola State Atty for his professionalism.”
The domestic violence case was Rod Wave’s only recent run-in with the law before Wednesday’s arrest.
In a twist that could send shockwaves through our daily lives, the very fabric of time is under threat from an unlikely culprit dubbed the “negative leap second.”
For eons, our planet has pirouetted through space, its rotation gradually slowing like a weary dancer coming to a halt. But with the advent of atomic clocks, a new player entered the stage and ushered in a cosmic clash between two conflicting measures of time, astronomical and atomic.
“The Earth’s rotation has been slowing down, largely due to the tug of the moon’s gravitational force,” explains Duncan Agnew, lead author of a groundbreaking study from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. “But atomic clocks, unfazed by celestial whims, continued ticking with unwavering precision.”
This misalignment birthed the phenomenon of leap seconds, where every few years, an extra second is added to our clocks to reconcile the growing disparity between atomic time and the Earth’s sluggish spin. But as Agnew and his team discovered, the plot thickens.
In a revelation that could send shivers down your spine, Earth’s rotation is actually picking up speed, fueled by the tumultuous churnings of its molten core. “We’re witnessing an unprecedented acceleration,” Agnew remarks, “a cosmic conundrum with potentially far-reaching consequences.”
But fear not, for Mother Nature has thrown us a lifeline in the form of melting ice at the poles, acting as a cosmic brake to slow Earth’s frenetic pace. Yet, this icy reprieve may be short-lived, as the rapid thawing of polar ice threatens to tip the scales once more, hurtling us towards a “negative leap second” scenario by 2029.
“It’s a delicate balancing act,” muses Dennis McCarthy, retired director of time for the US Naval Observatory. “We’re dancing on the edge of a temporal precipice, with the fate of our global timekeeping system hanging in the balance.”
But why should we care about a mere second lost in the annals of time? The answer lies in the intricate web of modern technology that underpins our daily lives. From global communications networks to financial transactions, our digital existence hinges on precise timekeeping to function seamlessly.
“The repercussions could be catastrophic,” warns Agnew. “Software systems designed to add time may struggle to cope with the unprecedented task of subtracting it, potentially wreaking havoc on a global scale.”
Amidst the chaos, a battle rages between traditionalists clinging to the sanctity of leap seconds and tech titans forging ahead with their own solutions. “The fights are so serious because the stakes are so small,” remarks physicist Judah Levine, encapsulating the absurdity of the situation.
As the world hurtles towards the precipice of a negative leap second, the fate of time itself hangs in the balance. Will humanity triumph over this temporal turmoil, or are we doomed to watch as the fabric of reality unravels before our very eyes? Only time will tell, literally!

Sources connected to Ciroc denied rumors of the vodka brand wanting to hire 50 Cent to replace Diddy. A TMZ report citing sources with “direct knowledge” insisted there was “zero truth” to a MediaTakeOut story claiming Ciroc hoped to make 50 Cent the new leader of its brand.
Diddy was the longtime face of Ciroc before he got embroiled in a dispute with its parent company Diageo in 2023. Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, sued Diageo for racial discrimination.
Diageo responded by severing ties with Diddy. The two sides settled the lawsuit in January 2024.
“Sean Combs and Diageo have now agreed to resolve all disputes between them,” Diddy and Diageo said in a joint statement. “Mr. Combs has withdrawn all of his allegations about Diageo and will voluntarily dismiss his lawsuits against Diageo with prejudice.”
Diddy gave up ownership of the DeLeón Tequila brand in the settlement. He previously co-owned the brand with Diageo.
“Diageo and Mr. Combs have no ongoing business relationship, either with respect to Cîroc vodka or DeLeón tequila, which Diageo now solely owns,” the former business partners announced.
MediaTakeOut, an outlet with a poor reputation for reporting the truth, ran a story about Ciroc’s alleged interest in hiring Diddy’s rival 50 Cent on Tuesday (April 2). The article quoted a supposed high-level executive at Circoc.
“Back in 2007, 50 Cent was our initial top choice as brand ambassador,” the unnamed person said. “But Diddy came in and stole the deal away. Many in the company always thought that 50 would be the better fit.”
50 Cent, who loves to troll Diddy, shared a screenshot of the article on Wednesday (April 3). The G-Unit boss didn’t refute the story but used it to promote his Branson Cognac and Le Chemin du Roi as he always does on Instagram.
“Good morning people start the day off with positive energy, and make what your heart desires happen,” 50 Cent wrote. “QGTM.”
TMZ said 50 Cent remained focused on his Sire Spirits with no interest in Ciroc. The report seemed accurate based on his social media antics. He continued promoting his liquor brand by taking another shot at Diddy and the mogul’s allies.
“Diddy’s boy friend called me a sell out,” 50 Cent wrote. “He is correct I’m selling out BRANSON COGNAC LOL drink responsibly.”
Multiple women and producer Lil Rod sued Diddy for sexual assault, among other allegations, in recent months. The feds raided the Bad Boy Records founder’s homes as part of a sex trafficking investigation in March.
It appears Lil Wayne will have a WrestleMania moment this year. The Young Money leader announced he will debut a brand-new song at WWE’s two-night professional wrestling event in Philadelphia.
Lil Wayne showed up on this week’s Monday Night Raw alongside former WWE tag team champion Jey Uso. The segment from the April 1 episode included Wayne confirming his WrestleMania XL appearance.
“If you’re free next week, I know you got a busy schedule, but if that thing’s clear, come through to Philly,” Jey Uso told Lil Wayne. The New Orleans native responded, “I’m gonna be there. And you know what? I’m bringing my single, world premiere.”
Lil Wayne has been teasing theWeezy vs. Wheezy collaborative project with Mississippi-born producer Wheezy. Set to arrive on Friday (April 5), the promotional artwork for Weezy vs. Wheezy features redesigned WWE and WCW logos.
Last year’s WrestleMania 39 saw Lil Uzi Vert perform “Just Wanna Rock” as part of The Usos’ entrance for their title match against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. In addition, Snoop Dogg beat The Miz in an impromptu singles match.
Jey Uso will go one-on-one with his brother-turned-partner-turned-rival Jimmy Uso at WrestleMania XL. The card also includes matchups such as The Rock and Roman Reigns versus Cody Rhodes and Seth “Freakin” Rollins. WrestleMania XL takes place on April 6 and 7 at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field.
Flavor Flav has denied a report claiming he’s participating in a Flavor of Love reboot. The Public Enemy tour de force took to Instagram on Tuesday (April 2) to address a recent article published on Deadline.com that read: “We’re in the process of working with Flavor Flav to reimagine what Flavor of Love can feel like in this in this decade, which is very different. The project is really fun, a comedy in the dating space. Flav will not, however, be doing the dating this time around but will be part of the process.”
Flav, however, clearly wants nothing to do with it. He wrote: “An article was published this morning in Deadline about me that is a complete lie. I am NOT involved with a Flavor of Love reboot and have no interest. I am partnered with a new production company and together we are developing concepts that highlight where I am now as a person,,, vs where I was. You can’t get to the next chapter by staying on the same page. This clock round my neck is moving forward, not backwards.”
Flavor of Love initially premiered on VH1 in 2006. While not a direct spin-off, the show was a result of Brigitte Nielsen and Flavor Flav’s failed relationship on Strange Love. Twenty different ladies competed for Flavor Flav’s heart as they live together in a mansion in Encino, California. The show helped launch the ensuing I Love New York, Rock of Love and Real Chance of Love, among others.
The show catapulted Flavor Flav to another level of fame, even though he’d already found immense success with Public Enemy. The Flavor of Love 2 finale was the second highest-rated non-sports basic cable show of 2006. It lasted for one more season and officially came to a close in 2008.
Flav is a different man these days, so it’s no surprise he wants to do other things. With more than three years of sobriety under his belt, the 65-year-old has a new lease on life. Aside from his numerous appearances at the Grammys, iHeartRadio Music Awards and other Hollywood events, he recently teamed up with Chuck D for a solo single called “Everywhere Man” because, frankly, he is everywhere.
Iowa Hawkeyes guard Caitlin Clark is one of the hottest athletes in America. The NCAA Division I all-time leading scorer even has Ice Cube and Lil Durk wanting to do business with her.
Ice Cube confirmed offering Caitlin Clark a “historic” deal to play in the N.W.A member’s BIG3 three-on-three basketball league. That reported $5 million proposal created shock waves in the sports world.
Lil Durk saw a tweet about Ice Cube’s lucrative offer to Clark. On Monday (April 1), The Almost Healed album creator posted, “I got 10 million come play with my 3.”
Considering Lil Durk shared his message about a potential eight-figure agreement with the 2023 AP Women’s College Basketball Player Of The Year on April Fool’s Day, the 31-year-old rapper likely meant the response as a joke.
Ice Cube made serious considerations about signing Caitlin Clark to the BIG3. The Hip-Hop legend stated, “America’s women athletes should not be forced to spend their off-seasons playing in often dismal and dubious foreign countries just to make ends meet.”
Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes eliminated rival Angel Reese and the LSU Tigers from the 2024 NCAA women’s basketball tournament in a highly-anticipated rematch from last year. Iowa moves on to face UConn in the Final Four on April 5.
