Boosie Badazz and Ts Madison are continuing their back and forth over the rapper’s criticism of The Color Purple movie.
The spat began earlier this week when Boosie announced he walked out of the movie theater, claiming the film is pushing an LGBTQ “narrative,” and not appropriate for children. Transgender media personality Ts Madison hit back at Boosie, urging him to fight his “homosexual demons.” She called him out for objecting to the lesbian relationship in the movie but not some of the harrowing scenes and storylines.
On Wednesday (January 30), Boosie took to social media to Ts Madison directly.
“U SEEM OFFENDED BECAUSE THE TRUTH HURTS,” he wrote on X. “THE MOVIE HAD GREAT ACTING BUT ITS JUST NOT APPROPRIATE FOR MY LITTLE GIRLS TO WATCH.”
He continued, pejoratively referring to Madison and claiming many others share his complaints.
“ITS NOT JUST ME TRANSEXUAL MADDY THAT FEELS THIS WAY SMH,” he added. “GO READ ALL THE COMMENTS ACROSS SOCIAL MEDIA ABOUT THE FILM. ITS A “LESBIAN CLASSIC “ but GOOD FILM N JUST CAUSE SOMEONE DONT AGREE THAT MAKES THEM HOMOSEXUAL. SO EVERYONE WHO DISAGREES IS.”
Boosie suggested Madison is mad at herself and used another transphobic slur when claiming she’s had an issue with him since he went off on transgender swimmer Lia Thomas in 2022.
@TsMadisonatl1 U SEEM OFFENDED BECAUSE THE TRUTH HURTS 😂THE MOVIE HAD GREAT ACTING BUT ITS JUST NOT APPROPRIATE FOR MY LITTLE GIRLS TO WATCH. N ITS NOT JUST ME TRANSEXUAL MADDY THAT FEELS THIS WAY SMH GO READ ALL THE COMMENTS ACROSS SOCIAL MEDIA ABOUT THE FILM. ITS A “LESBIAN…
In her response, Ts Madison denied being angry and slammed Boosie for not taking accountability for his contributions to the “demise” of the Black community. She challenged his complaints over the “Gay agenda” and went in on his apparent hypocrisy. Madison also compared him to “Mister,” the abusive husband in the movie.
“I shouldn’t expect much from a Man who paid grown women to sexually assault his teenage son and nephew thinkin that makes him ‘A man,’” she wrote. “No sir That makes them And YOU a mister!! As long as you speak on making our existence as LGBT people an agenda to hurt kids,….., I’ll be right here to remind you of your part in damaging kids….. be blessed beloved.”
BELOVED @BOOSIEOFFICIAL ….. I am not in any way angered at you sir, there is no accountability ever taken for any of the contributions you add to the demise of OUR community… OUR community as in Black peoples, you had folx agreeing with you because they are just as misguided in… https://t.co/cCeXFO2NJD
This isn’t the first time Ts Madison has called out Boosie’s claims he paid adult women to perform sex acts on his “12 and 13” year old son and nephew. During a 2021 Breakfast Club interview, Madison adressed Boosie’s beef with Lil Nas X.
“You the same man had an overgrown a** woman perform a f####### on your young son and you didn’t see anything wrong with that.” Madison said. “Make it make sense to me. I was so confused about the situation. Like who kids really need to be protected.”
Boosie faced widespread backlash over his remarks about his son and nephew, and he later claimed he was “just clowning.”
Katt Williams set the internet ablaze following a no-holds-barred interview on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast.
Various snippets from the nearly three hours long episode went viral on social media, with the comedian airing out his issues with other celebrities. One widely shared clip sees Katt Williams name-drop Diddy.
“Now I’ve had to turn down $50 million four times,” Williams told Sharpe. “Four times just to protect my integrity and that virgin hole I was telling you about. Cause P. Diddy be wanting to party, and you got to tell him no.”
Sharpe seemed taken back by the revelations and reached for his bottle to pour them a couple of stiff drinks. However, Katt Williams continued, repeating his claim about Diddy and insisting he’s got the proof to back it up.
“You got to tell him no,” he added. “I did. See I got the receipts for everything I’m telling you that’s why I can say ‘em so freely.”

Multiple women have leveled sexual misconduct allegations against the Hip-Hop mogul, who is the subject of several lawsuits. Diddy and former partner Cassie Ventura settled her suit against him within 24 hours of her filing. In her suit, she accused Diddy of rape, sex trafficking and abuse throughout their decade-long relationship.
In addition to his comments about Diddy, Katt Williams recalled a shocking encounter with Harvey Weinstein. He claimed the disgraced film producer offered to perform oral sex on him in front of a room full of people.
Blueface said he’s not worried about NLE Choppa, telling him to “squabble up or shut up” after throwing shade at the Memphis rapper, resurrecting their previous spat.
The MILF Music founder name-dropped NLE on the remix of his collab with on-again-off-again girlfriend Jaidyn Alexis, “Barbie.”
“This my business, welcome to the circus,” Blue raps on the song. “F### yo feelings, you a son of a b####/ Oh, N-L-E baby mama wanna hit/ Why you lying ’bout the number, b####? You know I got the digits/ I ain’t never pulled it out and ain’t have a b#### to kiss it.”
After Blueface shared the verse on social media, NLE Choppa took to social media to respond.
“I hit you personally to stop speaking on me,” he wrote on X in a since-deleted post. “I thought s### was understood. Bet that [handshake emoji].
Blue fired back on X, claiming the women in his life get brought up by other rappers, so it’s fair game. He also insisted NLE Choppa’s baby mama “decided to indulge in the circus on her own free recognizance.”
He continued, adding that “nobody safe,” and said he’s “not worried about a Muslim vegan cryp on sY bet that small fry squabble up or shut up.”
In a pair of follow-up posts, Blueface continued to taunt NLE Choppa. “I KNO NLE baby momma wanna hit,” he wrote. “I put lil bro on anyway.”
The rift between the two rappers began when Marissa Da’Nae, the mother of NLE Choppa’s son Chozen, accused Blueface of trying to hit on her. Blueface took to social media claiming, “Nle been calling my fone all day,” over the issue. The “Shotta Flow” hitmaker replied, “Keep bullying women, that ain’t gone work here n stop snitching.”
Zeddy Willhas shaken up the Hip-Hop scene in a most hilarious way. The emerging rap artist made a game-changing appearance on the show “On The Radar,” where his freestyles went viral. His freestyle to the tune “Cha Cha,” originally by the renowned DJ Casper (RIP), has been the standout of the rhymes he dropped. On YouTube, a platform notorious for its difficult algorithm, Zeddy has amassed millions of views. Even infamous streamer Kai Cenat recognizes this Queensbridge native’s talent. AllHipHop linked up with the hilariously talented rapper and comedian for an interview at Won World Studios. Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur and Zeddy have a jolly ol’ time. A lot of fun here to kick off 2024!
AllHipHop: So first of all, before we even get into all that, tell people a little bit about yourself and where you are right now.
Zeddy Will: Oh yeah. Zeddy Will. So basically I started from doing TikTok. I was born in Queensbridge, Queensbridge, New York. I’m from New York. All of this really started from me being a TikTok influencer doing funny videos. My style of videos was comedy, so I was a comedian at the time, still am. And when I got into the rapping joints, it was just throwing out little freestyles. I would throw out freestyles for me and my friend Michael in the car and they was eating it up.
They was like, yo, how is he able to sound like that? How is he able to mix comedy with the rap joint? So I kept doing it. Then my manager, Sean pre, we were like, yo, bro, I think you need to probably take a stab at rapping. So I’m like, okay. And they started to compare me to Will Smith and that was a big thing. I grew up loving Will Smith, fresh Prince of Ballet, all that type of vibe. So that’s really where it started. And now we are doing the rap stuff and I just did this big old freestyle on the radar and it’s called Chacha and that’s what’s going on now. Yeah,
AllHipHop: So you also mentioned Will Smith, which I think is interesting. For me, that was really what first came to mind when I saw the visuals associated with the music and what you were doing. So where are you heading? Is it going to be music or are you going to add Will was only really rapping for a short period, right?
Zeddy Will: He dropped a couple songs, “Parents Ain’t Nothing but Trouble.” He dropped all that little stuff in there.
AllHipHop: Wait a minute, “girls of the world ain’t nothing but trouble.
Zeddy Will: “Girls Ain’t Nothing but Trouble.” Nah, I feel like I have no limits. I want to end up acting. That’s my main thing. I want to end up being an actor. So if it happens tomorrow or happens four years from now, I’m not mad. But the music and the comedy is just the startup, the build-up. So the music is, if that’s the thing that God wants me to be putting out to the world and throwing my comedy out through that and showing I got good lyrics and all that type of stuff, then that’s what it’s for. Now. I don’t have no problem with that.
AllHipHop: You mentioned Queensbridge. So growing up or at least coming of age, Queensbridge was the blocks you might not make it through deep what you going to do whenmy whole crew is blazing at you” (quoting Mobb Deep).
Zeddy Will: Me growing up, my mom. So I was always into sports, so I really wasn’t in the violent part of it. Being in the gangs and all that type of stuff, whatever was going on, I wasn’t a part of that. It was cool, regular, being in the playground, being with my friends. I got a bunch of friends that I met when I was younger and I still know ’em now. And every time I go back to my hood, they always support. My mother kept me out of it or just the sports. I did swimming. I ran track, I played lacrosse, I played basketball. I played soccer. That was her way. And my mom, she was a dance teacher for this big community center in Queensbridge. So everybody knew my mom. So it was like you see his mom, you going to see him. So it is all connected. But I was a good boy, good boy. It was a good boy and a wild place really.
AllHipHop: Yeah. From a Hip-Hop point of view, did you know the legacy of Queensbridge?
Zeddy Will: No, I didn’t. Growing up, I didn’t know nothing. I’m just finding out about this really this year I didn’t know nothing. I didn’t know about MC Shan. I didn’t know about Mobb Deep. I just know the songs, but I ain’t know Nas.
AllHipHop: Back to you. You got “Cha Cha,” you do a bit of a mixing of old and new. Talk about the philosophy and the thinking behind that.
Zeddy Will: Yeah, so I think this past year or two, I’ve just been listening to a lot of old school music and I think this year really with the 50th anniversary, that type of vibe and how big of a deal that was. Since I’m doing music, I want to make sure I know everything about it while I’m getting into it. So I said on the interview, I didn’t know who Rakim was, Rakim was a big name. I went to the BET Awards was and Rakim had this big old thing. I’m like, “Why if I’m doing music, why don’t I know how important he was to Hip-Hop?” So I listen to a lot of old school music and I love our music that we got now, and I just mix it up.
AllHipHop: So is Soulja Boy old school now?
Zeddy Will: Soulja Boy, old school? Yeah, all of that. We not doing that no more. But he’s still a legend though, Soulja Boy. He just starts everything. So he a little old to me though.
AllHipHop: That’s so funny. Now who did you grow up looking up to?
Zeddy Will: Mine are two people. I would say, well, two people on the entertainment side and then music is just a different thing. Well, my music side, Eminem, I was a big Eminem fan all my life. My mother was telling me when I was younger, I used to listen to a bunch of Eminem when I was four or five years old and she had to tell me, stop. And then on the entertainment side, Martin Lawrence and Will Smith, those are my two my goats of just entertainment in general. They just are fun. They appeal to the people. I feel like they just understand comedy and acting and all of that.
AllHipHop: Fun. Speaking of dancing, you do a lot of that?
Zeddy Will: My mother was a dance teacher. I think that’s really what it was. And she always had me in shows with her dancing. So I just took that along and I’m just dancing all silly and goofy when I just dance on TikTok, it is getting millions of views, hundreds of thousands. So the people love it. So if I love it and they love it, why not keep doing it?
AllHipHop: How are the ladies treating you now?
Zeddy Will: Now? I’m up right now. So they love me. I ain’t going to lie. The girls love me. It’s just been speaking to a lot of different women from out of the country. I never talked to girls from out of the country like, whoa, you from London? I’ve never been to London. They love my energy.
AllHipHop: I’ll just say, don’t get Jonathan Major’d out here. Alright, so tell me a little bit about your creative process. And I preface this with the fact that I noticed most rappers no longer write lyrics. They just kind of go in there and just whatever’s first to mind.
Zeddy Will: I’m on my pen game. That’s one thing Shawn Prez always taught me, dude, you got to write because a lot of times you can go in the studio and just freestyle and you might make a hit. A lot of hits have been made. People just freestyle in the studio. But when you want it to mean something and you want it to come from the heart, you got to really write that. So that’s “Cha Cha.” I wrote that. I got to write.
AllHipHop: Are you able to stay focused? I mean with social media, with TikTok, I mean all these notifications, the phone, everything. How do you stay focused is really the question.
Zeddy Will: I stay home. Yeah. I don’t go outside really. I don’t want nothing happening to me. You feel me? I like to stay as regular as possible. So I like going to clubs, I like going to parties. I like going to the store. I don’t feel the need to be a lot of people on my team get at me a lot. I like going to the store without security. I don’t like doing all extra stuff, but I just stay in the house. That’s the best thing to stay in the house, make music, record videos, and just chill. That’s really what, it’s for me, that’s my plan.
AllHipHop: Have your friends treated you differently if they started to act funny?
Zeddy Will: Nah, not friends, but people that I went to high school with for sure. I went to prep school all the way out in Virginia for four years. So a lot of those people are hitting me up that never spoke to me, never gave me the time of the day, that type of stuff. But other than that…no. I don’t got a lot of friends. I like to keep it family.
AllHipHop: You gonna join the Illuminati?
Zeddy Will: No, I’m cool. Cool off all that. I’m cool off all that. I’m good. We’re going to stay right here and keep it pushing.
Freddie Gibbs would likely be ringside should NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers and late night TV host Jimmy Kimmel ever come to blows in the boxing ring.
In fact, Gibbs might actually have something to do with setting the match up based on the way he’s instigating the beef between Kimmel and Rodgers over the Jeffrey Epstein list. For those who aren’t all the way caught up, the Epstein list—which is set to be released basically any day now—is a list of more than 100 names of prominent people New York prosecutors believe had connections to or visited Epstein Island. Each individual is alleged to have connections to the child trafficking that occurred on the island. Public figures such as Bill Clinton had been rumored to be named on the list, in addition to Kimmel himself, who Rodgers publicly accused of being associated with the list during a nationally televised podcast segment.
Now it should go without saying that Gibbs himself is not associated with the list but, of course, he couldn’t help but to get involved in the mix once he saw Kimmel’s response to Rodgers.
And rightfully so, because Kimmel definitely had time when writing his Twitter (X) based on how spicy it was.
“Dear Aasshole: for the record, I’ve not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein, nor will you find my name on any ‘list’ other than the clearly-phony nonsense that soft-brained wackos like yourself can’t seem to distinguish from reality,” Kimmel wrote. “Your reckless words put my family in danger. Keep it up and we will debate the facts further in court. @AaronRodgers12.” Gibbs re-shared the post and simply responded, “Damn.”
In a few other tweets in the thread, Gibbs seemingly suggests to a Elon Musk versus Mark Zuckerberg type of brawl to settle the issue, writing, “They should do a celebrity death match.”
Additionally, another user remarked that Kimmel took a page out of Druski’s book and “stood on business” with his retort, to which Gibbs replied “as he should a rod bogus for that.”
The attorney representing the accuser in the case against T.I. and Tiny Harris demanded a payment of $10 million shortly before the expiration of the statute of limitations, according to sources with AllHipHop.
This request, reportedly made at 9 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, came merely three hours before the legal statute of limitations. The demand is a blatant attempt at extortion, our source said.
“This is a total shakedown,” the source told AllHipHop exclusively. “The accuser’s attorney demanded a payment of $10 million.” This comes in the aftermath that Jane Doe had been trying to receive payment for years.
The couple issues a joint statement which stated, “On the heels of positivity, negativity always rears its ugly head. This plaintiff has been threatening to file this lawsuit for THREE years. For THREE years, we have emphatically and categorically denied these allegations. For THREE years we have maintained our innocence and refused to pay these extortionate demands for things we didn’t do. For THREE years, we’ve maintained the same position while the claims in this story have changed time and time again. Our position is clear… We are innocent of these fake claims, we will not be shaken down, and we look forward to our day in court.”
In response to a lawsuit alleging sexual assault and battery filed in California, the music artists T.I. and Tiny Harris have strongly denied any wrongdoing. The lawsuit, brought by an individual identified only as Jane Doe, claims the couple assaulted her in a hotel room circa 2005.
The legal action stems from an encounter that reportedly began at a party at the home of musician Coolio, where the plaintiff and a friend met a man known as Caviar, who is said to have been working for T.I. and Tiny. The introduction to the couple allegedly occurred the following night at a nightclub in Los Angeles. The lawsuit details a series of events that night, including the plaintiff consuming drinks provided by Tiny, which led her to suspect she had been drugged.
The narrative then describes a sequence of events in a hotel room, involving T.I. and Tiny, which culminated in the alleged assault. The plaintiff recalls feeling disoriented and ultimately waking up in pain, leaving the hotel room the following morning with the assistance of a security guard.
The lawsuit against T.I. and Tiny includes charges of sexual assault, battery, false imprisonment, and negligence. It was filed nearly two decades after the alleged incident, enabled by California’s Sexual Abuse and Cover-Up Accountability Act, which allows for civil claims to be brought forward despite traditional statutes of limitations
Wiz Khalifa’s latest fitness post on Instagram has garnered the attention of a number of his followers, including model and actress Karrueche Tran.
To kick off the New Year right and start off 2024 on a healthy note, Khalifa shared a POV workout video of himself training his arms and back with OT Genasis in tow at his gym on Wednesday (January 3). The clip appears innocent for the most part, as the Taylor Gang creator encourages his followers to isolate their biceps when doing seated curls. However, based on the view of the camera, Khalifa’s biceps aren’t the main part of his body getting a close-up.
“Wiz come on bro….all nuts,” former NBA player Nick (Swaggy P) Young wrote in the comment section.
While Tran’s comment wasn’t nearly as explicit as Swaggy P’s, she made a point to send a message that something in the video caught her eye, writing simply, “Oh.”
A similar situation occurred in 2022 when GIllie Da King accused Khalifa of appealing to the powers that be to have his IG account banned for allegedly “bullying” Wiz for working out his underwear.
Kanye West’s former business manager ended his $4.5 million lawsuit against the rapper/producer. According to The Blast, Thomas St. John dropped the breach of contract case with prejudice. St. John won’t be able to refile the claim.
St. John sued Kanye after Ye allegedly stopped paying a monthly fee for business management services. The lawsuit said St. John was supposed to receive a monthly retainer fee of $300,000 for a deal signed in 2022. St. John wanted a two-year guarantee in the agreement, but the two sides compromised with a minimum term of 18 months.
Kanye allegedly tried to axe the deal shortly after agreeing to it. The lawsuit recalled a contentious meeting with Ye when he attempted to get out of the contract.
“At this meeting, Mr. West became heated and aggressive,” St. John’s lawyers wrote. “He screamed at Mr. St. John and made clear he no longer wanted to work with [St. John]. When confronted by the 18-month commitment that had just been made, Mr. West stated words to the effect of ‘The 18-month term was b#######’ and ‘You’re insane for even thinking I would stick to it.’”
St. John filed his lawsuit in 2022 but had trouble tracking down Kanye. St. John eventually requested more time to serve Ye with legal papers, joining other plaintiffs who struggled to find Kanye in separate legal cases.
Last year, Kanye responded to St. John by countersuing. Ye claimed the contract wasn’t enforceable, noting how he didn’t get to consult with his lawyers before he signed it. The polarizing artist said he was “sleep-deprived, stressed, anxious and under duress” during his negotiations with St. John.
Kanye admitted he signed the deal but insisted he was not in a good state of mind when he encountered St. John. Ye cited his divorce as his major source of stress at the time.
Katt Williams pulled no punches during an appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast. The longtime comedian recalled a shocking interaction with disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein in the conversation with Sharpe.
“They canceled me for talking about Harvey Weinstein before the thing came out,” Williams told Sharpe. “But he offered to suck my penis in front of all my people at my agency. What am I supposed to do? He did all of that. I’m thinking I’m the only Black person on the script. I get there, it’s three other Black guys on there. Woo! Huh? I told him no. What y’all do?”
He continued, “And this is why I walk in a room, heads go down. Behind my back, I’m nothing. I’m just a regular old comedian that’s bitter and jealous. But in my face? No, no, no. The king has walked in and they have to respect it. Only because I’m not taking the shortcuts. I’ve not been funded. They pay you to not talk about things they don’t want you to talk about. They tell you that themselves.”
Weinstein was arguably the biggest name exposed in the Me Too movement. Dozens of women accused the former movie executive of abuse and harassment.
A judge sentenced Weinstein to 23 years in prison for a first-degree criminal sexual act and third-degree rape conviction in 2020. He received an additional 16 years in prison for rape and sexual assault charges in 2023.
Weinstein wasn’t the only celebrity who got aired out in Williams’ interview with Sharpe. The comic discussed his issues with several comedians, most notably accusing Cedric the Entertainer of stealing jokes. Williams also took shots at Steve Harvey, Kevin Hart and Rickey Smiley in the episode, which ran for close to three hours.
Yung Bleu hasn’t banned Boosie Badazz from attending his newly musically accredited Moon Boy University (MBU)—but he hasn’t exactly offered him admission yet either.
On Wednesday (January 3), the Alabama-bred artist spoke to TMZ about the details of the massive 24,000-square foot studio, label headquarters and creative campus he’s helmed with hopes of honing the next generation of rap stars.
While describing the inner workings of MBU, Bleu wholeheartedly welcomed artists and creatives of all levels to engage in the experience at the studio, but literally laughed off the idea of Boosie pulling up to the campus.
“You funny man, maybe, everybody is invited,” he said in part. “I’m going to have everybody coming through there, like, I got so many people ready just to come through and see the studio and vibe out.”
Both rappers spent the majority of 2023 going back and forth with each other on social media, including an incident in September when Boosie criticized Bleu amid marital issues with his wife.
All jokes aside, Bleu says the studio will focus on building onto the nucleus of adolescent-fueled music trends because that’s what people naturally gravitate toward.
“Whatever you grew up on, you are going to attach yourself to because you’re attaching that to a time in your life that was special,” Bleu said in part. “So nothing ever going to top that because you’re never going to be in that type of life again.”
According to the official website, MBU is defined as a described as “a full-service recording, marketing, media, and distribution agency,” which Bleu says is designed with a subscription-based membership model.
“We got gold and black card members [who] pay an annual fee,” he said. “It starts at $1,500 and goes up to $10,000. Any artist or creator can sign up to be a member of this, and they’ll have access to our services, like marketing, like digital, and stuff like that, just like [a record company]. It’s kind of like a unique thing.”
Kanye West faced several tax liens against his Yeezy brand and failed to pay taxes on two properties in Calabasas, California. According to legal documents obtained by the Daily Mail, Ye owed more than $1 million to the state of California.
Yeezy Apparel owed $934,033.56 for four active tax liens. The California Franchise Tax Board most recently sought to collect $319,356.58 from Ye’s company in 2023. The lien was related to unpaid taxes from October 2021 to March 2022.
West’s business was first hit with a tax lien for $13,999.28 in 2021. Yeezy Apparel had unpaid taxes for a few months in 2020.
The Franchise Tax Board filed two more liens against Yeezy Apparel in 2022. One demanded $279,085.99 for unpaid taxes from January 2020 to March 2021. The other aimed to collect $321,591.71 from the tax period of April 2021 to September 2021.
West also owed $101,093 in unpaid taxes for his properties in Calabasas. Since 2021, Ye stopped paying taxes on an apartment and mansion he bought with his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. Both properties went to him in their divorce.
The tax debts loomed over West’s head as he prepared to drop his new album Vultures with Ty Dolla $ign. Last month, Ye apologized for his past antisemitism ahead of the project’s release.
“I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for my unplanned outburst caused by my words or actions, it was not my intention to hurt or disrespect, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused,” he wrote in Hebrew on Instagram. “I am committed to starting with myself and learning from this experience to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future. Your forgiveness is important to me, and I am committed to making amends and promoting unity.”
The Anti-Defamation League viewed West’s apology as a positive first step if he continued the long journey of atoning for his hateful comments. The American Jewish Committee was more critical, condemning the apology for being inaccessible and calling it a possible ploy for attention.
T.I. and Tiny Harris denied any wrongdoing after a Jane Doe sued them for sexual assault and battery in California. The couple responded to the woman’s lawsuit in a statement to AllHipHop on Wednesday (January 3).
“On the heels of positivity, negativity always rears its ugly head,” T.I. and Tiny told AllHipHop. “This plaintiff has been threatening to file this lawsuit for THREE years. For THREE years, we have emphatically and categorically denied these allegations. For THREE years we have maintained our innocence and refused to pay these extortionate demands for things we didn’t do. For THREE years, we’ve maintained the same position while the claims in this story have changed time and time again.”
They added, “Our position is clear… We are innocent of these fake claims, we will not be shaken down, and we look forward to our day in court.”
Jane Doe’s lawsuit claimed T.I. and Tiny sexually assaulted her in a hotel room around 2005. The woman and her friend connected with the couple through a man known as Caviar at a party at Coolio’s home.
Caviar allegedly worked for T.I. and Tiny, who did not attend Coolio’s party. Caviar introduced the woman and her friend to the couple the following night at a nightclub in Los Angeles. Jane Doe allegedly had two drinks before Tiny gave her one, which she drank with her friend. The plaintiff believed she was drugged.
According to the lawsuit, T.I. asked the alleged victim to leave the club with him and Tiny. Her friend would supposedly ride with Caviar to the same destination. Jane Doe rode in a vehicle with T.I., Tiny and two other women. Tiny got rid of the two other women at the hotel.
Tiny allegedly took Jane Doe into the bathroom and stripped the woman. A naked T.I. allegedly joined them in the shower.
The plaintiff recalled feeling dizzy and ending up on a bed in the hotel room. She said T.I. ordered her to give him a massage. Later, Tiny allegedly pinned the woman down and started grinding on her. Jane Doe accused T.I. of penetrating her with his toe while she was pinned down. The plaintiff was able to get to the bathroom as she needed to vomit. She eventually passed out and woke up with vaginal pain the next morning. She left the hotel room at the behest of a security guard while T.I. and Tiny slept.
Jane Doe sued T.I. and Tiny for sexual assault, battery, false imprisonment and negligence. She filed her lawsuit almost two decades after the alleged incident thanks to California’s Sexual Abuse and Cover-Up Accountability Act. The law opened the door for civil claims that would otherwise be barred by the statute of limitations.
Lil Nas X is responding to Dave Chappelle’s latest Netflix comedy special, The Dreamer. At one point during the set, Chappelle recalls meeting the “Old Town Road” artist who supposedly told him he tried to get him into his controversial “MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)” video in 2021. Elsewhere, he imagines Lil Nas X as a little kid telling his teacher his dreams of being “the gayest n#### that ever lived.”
Lil Nas X shared a clip of the special and wrote in the caption, “yall gotta let call me by your name go, me and the devil broke up 3 years ago. yall acting like children of divorce.”
yall gotta let call me by your name go, me and the devil broke up 3 years ago. yall acting like children of divorce https://t.co/HVOfhTVaky
Chappelle’s special was bound to get a slew of reactions on social media, which includes several jokes targeting the trans community and disabled people. Toward the beginning of the special, he tells a story about visiting actor Jim Carrey while he was shooting the 1999 film Man on the Moon, in which he went method on set while portraying comedian Andy Kaufman. Chappelle recalls being “very disappointed” that he spent the day speaking to Carrey pretending to be Kaufman, ending by saying, “That’s how trans people make me feel.”
Chappelle later addressed the controversy surrounding his previous standup specials, saying, “If you guys came here to this show tonight thinking that I’m going to make fun of those people again, you’ve come to the wrong show. I’m not f###ing with those people anymore. It wasn’t worth the trouble. I ain’t saying s### about them. Maybe three or four times tonight, but that’s it.
“I’m tired of talking about them. And you want to know why I’m tired of talking about them? Because these people acted like I needed them to be funny. Well, that’s ridiculous. I don’t need you. I got a whole new angle coming. You guys will never see this s### coming. I ain’t doing trans jokes no more.”
But that was short-lived. He eventually returned to the topic, saying, “To be honest with you, I’ve been trying to repair my relationship with the transgender community cause I don’t want them to think that I don’t like them. You know how I’ve been repairing it? I wrote a play. I did. Cause I know that gays love plays. It’s a very sad play, but it’s moving. It’s about a Black transgender woman whose pronoun is, sadly, n####a. It’s a tear-jerker. At the end of the play she dies of loneliness cause white liberals don’t know how to speak to her. It’s sad.”
He continued, “God forbid I ever go to jail. But if I do, I hope it’s in California. Soon as the judge sentences me, I’ll be like, ‘Before you sentence me, I want the court to know I identify as a woman. Send me to a woman’s jail.’ As soon I get in there, you know what I’mma be doing. ‘Give me your fruit cocktail, b####, before I knock your motherf###ing teeth out. I’m a girl, just like you, b####. Come here and suck this girl d### I got. Don’t make me explain myself. I’m a girl.’”
Lil Nas X, of course, is openly gay and often makes light of the homophobia he experiences through social media.
50 Cent is calling on MSNBC anchor Ari Melber to help him make sense of California’s recent decision to offer illegal migrants health insurance. The Power mogul took to Instagram on Wednesday (January 3) to share a headline that read: “CALIFORNIA BECOMES FIRST US STATE TO OFFER HEALTH INSURANCE TO ALL ILLEGAL MIGRANTS.”
He wrote in the caption, “I don’t understand this, this it going to cost 2.6 billion dollars for tax payers. They don’t even give veterans health insurance. @arimelber call my phone now, help me understand this s###. WTF.”
As Melber told AllHipHop via text, he quickly replied to 50 Cent’s request, writing, “We can get into it in the next interview for sure. Gonna be a big 2024. Primaries start this month—ever think of running, 50?!”
50 Cent got some pushback from people like journalist Roland Martin, who said, “Why don’t you call Black-owned media? You are wrong about veterans. We have an entire VA Affairs agency in DC. Second, BY LAW, emergency rooms are REQUIRED to treat ANYONE that comes in. Guess who foots the bill in each county? TAXPAYERS. Also, those illegal immigrants have jobs and pay taxes. So AGAIN, California taxpayers are already footing the bill when people show up to emergency rooms, even for basic care. Those are FACTS.”
Another person added, “So it’s ok for them to clean your homes, hotels, and make your food but not ok for them to be healthy while doing it? Healthcare should be a human right. Period,” while another said, “You guys will believe anything coming from a celebrity cuz veterans and millions of Americans have health care.”
Others are asking for 50 Cent to reconsider his post, writing things like, “Come on 50, don’t do this. When people don’t have healthcare everyone suffers. What do you think happens when the uninsured go to ERs? I absolutely love you but please don’t post on things that fuel hate towards different groups of people. Healthcare SHOULD be a human right.”
As reported by KCRA, California became the first state in the country to offer health insurance to all undocumented immigrants just recently. Beginning in 2024, 750,000 adults between the ages of 26 and 49 years old are now eligible for Medi-Cal benefits.
Akademiks is denying claims he sexually assaulted an ex-girlfriend along with two of his friends. The outspoken media personality took to his YouTube channel to explain his side of the story and admitted he helped the police in their investigation more than a year ago.
“I was never arrested, it’s documented, Akademiks was never arrested,” he says in the clip. “There was a search warrant. This situation that I mentioned went to the cops over a year and a half ago. It went to the cops. Me and my lawyer were openly cooperative. By the way, some serious allegations, I don’t care whose involved, we helped the police. Whatever you need. You want our phone? You want passcodes? Let’s decrypt our DVR.
“You should see all the footage. There is nothing they did not see. You know what the result of that investigation was? That was officially ruled by the D.A. and the police that there is nothing there.”
The caption reads, “Akademiks discussed the recent allegations, stating that the authorities reviewed both camera surveillance footage in 4K and his phone records, leading to no charges being filed.” But some people aren’t so convinced. As one person wrote in the comment section, “I hope it’s a longer clip of you saying you didn’t do it or let it happen smh it’s giving he did it.”
Akademiks ex-girlfriend Ziya Abashe accused him and his friends of sexual assault and rape in a video posted on December 30. The clip was in response to his own account of an incident in which he claimed to have discovered footage of Abashe engaging in sexual activities with his friends while he was passed out. But she called cap on his story, saying, “For you to pretend you didn’t do anything?
“That I just went to your house and I’m some thot, like we didn’t know each other for 2 years. You tried to save yourself after your friends assaulted me. Whether or not you got drunk or not. I know that when you woke up, you were on top of me too. You raped me too.”
She later added, “I look crazy right now, but I’m not going to stand here and let this man continue to lie about me. That’s not what happened Akademiks, you know that’s not what happened.”
But, as he said elsewhere in the video, he’s not worried about any potential consequences that may have stemmed from the alleged incident.
“I see a lot of people go ‘Ak, you’re gonna be in jail,'” he continued. “There ain’t no charges. There won’t be no charges. And there’s documentation to say, ‘Hey, we looked at everything. Everybody’s clear.’ Not only for me, for everybody involved.”
DJ Envy’s former business partner, Cesar Pina, is attempting to strike a plea deal with federal prosecutors. Court docs obtained by AllHipHop reveal Pina’s attorneys are asking the judge for a continuance, stating, “Counsel for the parties represented that this additional continuance is necessary for effective preparation and to permit the parties to attempt to resolve this case prior to indictment and thereby avoid a trial.” In other words, they want to negotiate a deal without going to court so the matter can be settled as soon as possible.
“Plea negotiations are currently in progress, and both the United States and the defendant desire additional time to negotiate a plea agreement, which would render grand jury proceedings and a trial in this matter unnecessary,” the docs continue. “Thus, the ends of justice served by granting the continuance and preventing any further non-excludable days from passing under § 3161(h) outweigh the best interest of the public and the defendant in a speedy trial.
“IT IS, therefore ORDERED that this action is continued from the date the Order is signed through February 29, 2024; and it is further ORDERED that those days are excluded in computing time under the Speedy Trial Act of 1974; and it is further ORDERED that nothing in this Order or the application prompting it is a finding or representation that less than 31 non-excludable days under § 3161(h) have expired.”
Federal authorities arrested Pina and charged him with allegedly defrauding dozens of real estate investors late last year. Pina defended Envy in October 2023 not long after his arrest, saying The Breakfast Club co-host had nothing to do with the alleged real estate scam and is only being targeted because he’s the more famous of the two.
“DJ Envy was never in the room with me,” Pina told his Instagram followers. “DJ Envy has nothing to do with any of these 20 lawsuits of these people who are suing me. It f###### sucks, bro.”
Pina also said people are “being coerced to sue people affiliated with me just because they are a bigger name. That’s the situation that breaks my heart. In all these lawsuits, these 20 lawsuits, DJ Envy was never in the room with me.”
He did, however, deny DJ Envy was a victim, saying, “I understand his attorney, his defense to DJ Envy is a victim. That’s the dumbest s### I ever heard in my life. Me and him were partners in the real estate seminars. We are partners in a couple of real estate transactions. That’s it. He’s not a victim. He was my partner. He was an investor.”
6ix9ine street statue in Cuba was reportedly a commissioned art project, according to the sculpture artist responsible for the work.
On Tuesday (January 2) cuban sculptor Genis Osorio Vargas shared a post on Instagram detailing the process behind the creation of the bronze memorial statue. According to Vargas, the statue was what he described as a “unique” request he honored for a client.
“Pleasing the customer with a very unique order,” Vargas wrote in the caption. “6ix9ine or Tekashi69, one of the most controversial rappers. no limit to the ideas created from fine art.”
The statue, which is constructed as a bust from the waist up, is currently placed on a street corner and sculpted to resemble a notorious shirtless photo of 6ix9ine holding wads of cash. 6ix9ine has a long-standing relationship with his Cuban demographic, considering his third studio album, Leyenda Viva, was partially recorded in Cuba and features an appearance from Cuban singer Lenier Mesa on the song “Wapae.”
“I’ve always been someone who finds my joy in being creative & seeing my ideas come to life. For a long time I used music to deliver my big crazy ideas to the world,” Azalea tweeted on Wednesday (January 3).
She continued, “I know a lot of people have this idea that I was ‘bullied away from music’ and that’s something I’ve always laughed at because I’d never be bullied out of anything! In fact, I’m too stubborn.”
Iggy Azalea went on to say that she is currently more passionate about design and creative direction than music. The former T.I. protégé then informed her followers that a new body of work would not drop anytime soon.
“That’s why I want to let you know that I’m not going to finish my album. It’s been paused for a few months while I was giving direction for a different project & in truth I just haven’t felt the urge to go back to it,” Azalea stated.
The 33-year-old entertainer also wrote, “I feel really happy & passionate in my day-to-day life when my mind’s focused on that and so I want to stick to what’s undeniably best for me.”
Iggy Azalea presented her debut studio LP, The New Classic, in 2014. In addition, her album catalog contains 2019’s In My Defense and 2021’s The End of an Era. That latter project failed to chart on the Billboard 200.
Tory Lanez announced his intention to executive produce Iggy Azalea’s next music project. That declaration happened before a California jury found Lanez guilty of assaulting Megan Thee Stallion in December 2023.
Many people had a problem with Iggy Azalea working with Tory Lanez. Azalea responded to the online backlash by tweeting, “My bills remain paid without your two cents.”
“I had to walk out of The Color Purple movie… because I had my little girls with me [and] it seemed like a [rainbow emoji] love story!!” Boosie tweeted on Tuesday (January 2).
He returned to X (formerly Twitter) to add, “Why if someone doesn’t agree with the [rainbow emoji] narrative that’s being pushed why do y’all say that person who doesn’t agree is [rainbow emoji]? That’s bullying.”
Boosie also posted, “My granddad was a preacher (Southern Baptist) [and] I’m just tryna raise my kids with the same beliefs [and[ respect we was raise with. It’s just this world will have [you in] a fight to do so!!”

Critics Bring Up Boosie’s Past Comments About Lesbians & Sexualizing Underage Boys
Many social media users called out Boosie for his apparent hypocrisy. For example, online commenters pointed out the Baton Rouge native’s “They Dykin'” song. That track includes the lines, “Two redbones kissin’ in da back seat. Girl, don’t stop keep going and relax me.”
As far as The Color Purple criticism, transgender media personality Ts Madison slammed the 41-year-old southerner for apparently ignoring the depictions of sexual, physical and mental abuse by men in the film.
Ts Madison Goes In On The Outspoken Rapper
“So #lilboosie you sat there with your daughter while [Celie’s] ‘Daddy’ took her [second] child that he fathered and gave it to the pastor and his wife. You sat there with your daughter while Mister came and bought her from her daddy at 14,” Ts Madison posted on Instagram.
The RuPaul’s Drag Race judge also wrote, “You sat there with your daughter while MISTER enslaved CELIE to cook and clean his nasty house with HIS children. You sat there with your daughter and watched MISTER beat, sexually destroy and drag Celie all over the floor. You sat there with your daughter and watched MISTER bring his side chick into the house with CELIE.”
“Then you try and come to social media and bring the ‘what about the kids mane’ campaign you been on and attempt to use God to justify you and the people who stand with you???? Tuh… and they call us DELUSIONAL,” Ts Madison continued.
The Perfect Find cast member concluded, “Sir: the character you play in real life is MISTER, The Daddy, The pastor and all the other men who abused CELIE in that movie!! And have the nerve to finally be ‘concerned’ about what a kiss would do to ‘influence’ your daughter… There is truly some intervention needed in your life to sort out these homosexual demons you’re fighting… #shifttheconcern this year #2024.”
Starting in a small South Carolina town, Nick tumbled into Hip-Hop have a challenge among friends on who had the best bars. Accepting that challenge proved to be life-altering, revealing his innate talent and competitive spirit. Upon relocation to Atlanta, he fully immersed himself in a vibrant musical environment. He engaged in rap battles with college students while still in high school. Slowly, but surely he was becoming his highest self.
In 2023, Nick Grant became a master with the release of his magnum opus, Sunday School. In an interview with AllHipHop, he revealed this is the album he has always wanted to create, but was unable to do so within the framework of a major lable. At that time, around 2017, he was a younger MC and also managed by some music industry heavies that knew more than him. Through it all, with consistency and resilience, he persisted to this point. But, he did not stop with the album. Nick bombed on his peers time after time with freestyle after freestyle after freestyle – all with premium, goat-tier bars that likely have folks like Andre 3000 staying retired. (See those freestyles below.)
Nick Grant’s existence within Hip-Hop is the constant commitment to his craft. His focus on individuality, diverse subject matter, and musical experimentation is an anamoly. He’s been been a darling by the media, tastemakers, and a hardcore fanbase. His resolve as an artist sets him apart, but also positions him as a potential influence in Hip-Hop. Sunday Dinner is bar heavy, but his dense, often intellectual, wordplay is never corny or overbearing. His battle bars have metastasized into a euphony of songs, a no-skip album of 16 songs. His ability as a battle rap journeyman to the top of a fiercely competitive rap game in 2023 is nothing less than phenmenal. He’s more than a testament of passion, skill, and determination, he’s hope personified. Salute.
