Machine Gun Kelly’s Sloppy State Fair Fight Centered Around Megan Fox

Machine Gun Kelly and girlfriend Megan Fox hit the O.C. State Fair on Thursday night (July 20)—and wound up in an altercation. In the now-viral video, MGK and his security are seen physically fighting with fellow fair attendees. Fox, meanwhile, was shoved into the barricade as the scuffle ensued.

But it was Machine Gun Kelly who reportedly threw the first punch after a man complimented Fox. The man’s brother, Nelson Zuniga, spoke to TMZ about the incident. He explained they were waiting to get on the UFO ride when the famous couple stepped off. According to Zuniga, his brother told Fox she was “beautiful as f###,” which sent MGK into a rage.

Kelly allegedly smacked the kid then another Zuniga brother tried to punch him but missed. The sometimes rapper’s security stepped in and mistakenly shoved Fox instead.

Zuniga didn’t understand what the big deal was. He said if he was with Fox and someone paid her a compliment, it wouldn’t bother him. In fact, he said he would ask the fan if they wanted a picture with her due to her “celebrity” status. When asked if they were going to file a police report, Zuniga said they were “talking to lawyers.”

Machine Gun Kelly and Fox have been dating for years but have had to deal with infidelity rumors in recent months. Fox debunked the cheating speculation in a since-deleted Instagram post.

“There has been no third party interference in this relationship of any kind,” she wrote. “That includes, but is not limited to…actual humans, DMs, AI bots of succubus demons. While I do hate to rob you of running random baseless news stories that would have been much more accurately written by ChatGPT, you need to let this story die and leave all of these innocent people alone now.”

Tupac Shakur Murder Case: Former Prosecutor Sheds Light On Chances Of Convicting Suspect

Nearly 30 years after Tupac Shakur’s murder, attorneys are saying it’s possible charges can still be filed against a suspect.

Following a recent raid, new information may link prosecutors to a suspect in the Death Row artist’s murder case. Duane “Keefe D” Davis has been talking for year, and his interviews led officials to his ex-wife’s home on Maple Shade Street in Las Vegas earlier this week.

The 60-year-old alleged gang member, whose nephew Orlando Anderson is accused of being the man who shot Shakur, said he thinks there’s evidence that identifies his family member as the killer.

During the search, the police confiscated various items, including computers, iPads, bullet cartridges, photographs, a Vibe magazine article about Shakur and a copy of Keefe D’s 2019 book titled “Compton Street Legend.” In both his book and during a 2018 BET interview, Keefe D claimed he was present in the car with Anderson when he shot Shakur.

The interview took place during a period when public interest in the case was heightened due to the 2018 Netflix true crime documentary series called “Unsolved: The Tupac and Biggie Murders.”

According the Las Vegas Review-Journal, former Clark County prosecutor Frank Coumou believes if the information pans out, someone might go on trial.

“Even if someone may not have pulled the trigger, but acted as a co-conspirator in agreement to commit a felony … that person could be charged equally as a co-conspirator for murder,” Coumou, now a local defense attorney who used to work in the county’s district attorney’s office, said.

Under Nevada law, there’s no statute of limitation on homicides. Defense attorney Josh Tomsheck noted merely supplying a firearm with the knowledge it will be used in a killing can lead to murder charges.

Conspiracy charges must be filed within three years per state law. Any charges related to the incident will probably be presented through a grand jury indictment. Tomsheck further emphasized that recorded statements from witnesses or suspects can serve as evidence regardless of the time that has elapsed since the killing.

He said, “There’s a reason why those of us who defend people accused of crimes or in criminal investigations tell them not to make statements.”

Finesse2Tymes Avoids Charges For Rental Car Theft In Houston

Prosecutors dropped theft charges against Finesse2Tymes on Friday (July 21). According to Houston’s NBC affiliate, the Harris County District Attorney’s Office dismissed the case citing insufficient evidence.

Finesse2Tymes, whose real name is Ricky Hampton, was accused of stealing a rental car. Houston police issued a warrant for his arrest on Wednesday (July 19).

The Atlantic Records artist caught the attention of police over a rental car, which was supposed to be returned to Enterprise in March. A man named Ronald Bell rented an Infiniti QX80 SUV valued at $72,000 in Houston in February. Bell told an Enterprise employee that Finesse2Tymes was the person in possession of the vehicle in April.

Finesse2Tymes spoke with the Enterprise employee and said he was in Atlanta. The rapper claimed he would return the vehicle to an Enterprise location in Atlanta but never did.

Police ran the vehicle’s license plate and discovered it in Houston on April 24. Cops stopped a woman driving the car on April 25.

The woman told police that Finesse2Tymes was her boss. She said he gave her the keys. The woman also admitted she knew the vehicle needed to be returned to Enterprise.

Police sought to charge Finesse2Tymes with felony theft between $30,000 and $150,000. But the Memphis-bred rapper dodged any punishment when prosecutors decided to throw out the case.

Tough Guy Machine Gun Kelly Fights At Carnival; Megan Fox Caught In Crossfire

Megan Fox got caught in the middle of an altercation between her boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly and another man at the Orange County Fair.

Machine Gun Kelly took a swing at a guy after exiting a ride at the fair on Thursday night (July 20). The man punched MGK in response, which led to a bodyguard stepping in to stop the fight.

Fox faced the brunt of the damage in the altercation. She was slammed against a barricade before MGK whisked her away from the scene.

Machine Gun Kelly and Fox have been dating for several years. Earlier this year, the two dealt with infidelity rumors on gossip outlets and social media.

YNW Melly Trial: Jury Struggling To Reach Verdict; Must Deliberate Over Weekend

YNW Melly must wait at least one more day to learn his fate in a double murder trial. A Florida jury did not reach a verdict on Friday (July 21), forcing them to return to court for deliberations on Saturday (July 22).

Prosecutors and YNW Melly’s defense team made their closing arguments in his murder trial on Thursday (July 20). The jury briefly began deliberations on Thursday before continuing Friday.

Jurors informed Judge John Murphy they were deadlocked on Friday. The jury asked the judge what would happen if they could not reach a consensus on YNW Melly’s guilty or innocence.

“What if we can’t come to a decision?” the jury said in a note to the judge. “Everyone is stuck on which side they’ve chosen.”

Judge Murphy explained how to handle a deadlock. A few hours later, court adjourned for the day. The jury must deliberate on Saturday — and potentially Sunday — since they are sequestered.

Prosecutors accuse YNW Melly of killing his friends YNW Juvy and YNW Sakchaser in 2018. The 24-year-old rapper pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder charges.

YNW Melly, whose real name is Jamell Demons, faces the death penalty if convicted. His alleged accomplice YNW Bortlen will be tried separately in October.

Cam’ron And Ma$e Call Out ESPN; Claim Network Is Biting Their Sports Show

Cam’ron and Ma$e accused ESPN of stealing their swag. The duo discussed the network’s alleged biting on the July 21 episode of their sports talk show It Is What It Is.

Co-host Treasure “Stat Baby” Wilson mentioned how ESPN introduced a “Cap or No Cap” segment and a segment equating athletes to rappers. Ma$e’s reaction generated laughter in the studio.

“That’s crazy,” Ma$e said. “We need to jack them back. Pause.”

Cam’ron considered himself an ESPN fan, but he wasn’t pleased with the network’s direction in recent months. He thought ESPN’s “Cap or No Cap” segment blatantly ripped off It Is What It Is.

“[For] ESPN to throw a cap segment in there, we just did the cap hats and all type of s###!” he said. “Now, they got a cap segment.”

Cam’ron was unimpressed with ESPN’s attempts to seem more in tune with the culture. He advised the network to stick to what it does best.

“ESPN, don’t go out like that!” he said. “I’m an ESPN fan. Don’t go out like this. This is looking bad. This is looking really, really pathetic.”

Cam’ron added, “When you trying to do some s### that you don’t do, it’s obvious. It’s dead obvious. And it doesn’t look like y’all have the right person in y’all programming room to tell you, ‘That’s kinda corny.’”

Retired basketball star Paul Pierce, a former ESPN analyst, joined Cam’ron and Ma$e on the latest episode of It Is What It Is. Their ESPN conversation began around the 28-minute mark of the episode.

Young Thug Rapper Denied Bond Again; Has Not Seen The Sun Since May 2022

Atlanta-based rapper Young Thug was denied bond for the third time on Friday (July 21) as jury selection continues in his high-profile Fulton County gang and racketeering case.

Young Thug has been in custody since his May 2022 arrest, with his trial facing a series of controversies and complications.

Chief Judge Ural Glanville ruled that Young Thug must remain behind bars, citing dangers to the community and the potential intimidation of witnesses ahead of his trial.

The prosecution alleged that Young Thug has a history of intimidating witnesses, with one potential witness allegedly expressing reluctance to cooperate due to Young Thug’s influence.

Young Thug’s attorney, Brian Steel, detailed the “torturous” conditions the rapper is enduring while in custody at the Cobb County jail. He claimed Young Thug eats processed food with little nutritional value, resulting in significant weight gain.

Steel also stated that his client was recently hospitalized with kidney issues due to his diet in jail and is sleep-deprived due to court appearances.

He also said Young Thug has not seen the sun since May of 2022, when he was originally arrested.

Authorities allege that Williams is the co-founder and leader of Young Slime Life, which they claim is a criminal street gang responsible for much of Atlanta’s violence. Williams’ attorneys have strongly contested these charges, arguing that Young Slime Life is a record label.

Williams was among 28 people named in a sweeping gang and racketeering indictment last year. Co-defendant Deamonte Kendrick, who raps under the name Yak Gotti, was also denied bond.

Since the case began, Glanville has only granted bond to co-defendant Miles Farley, who was severed from the trial following his attorney’s courthouse arrest.

Several others were released after entering guilty pleas.

Australian Rapper Dheezy Delivers Collaborative Project with Bizarre of D-12

Today accomplished  Australian rapper Dheezy delivers his newest track “Flip Em  All The Bird” ft Bizarre of D12 and Shady Records infamy.  The song is taken from Dheezy’s 6-track Killah Kombo EP that features D-12 (Kuniva & Swifty McVay), Obie Trice and production from multi-platinum producer K.E. on the Track which also released today July 21st.

Bridging the gap across the Pacific to the gritty streets of Detroit, Michigan, Dheezy releases the collaborative effort with Bizarre and various members of Detroit’s Dirty Dozen aka D-12 with hopes of building his fan base on both sides of the Pacific.

On the heels of Bizarre’ s He’s Got a Gun album with Foul Mouth, the connection with Dheezy happened in perfect timing. Making the most of his time with D-12, Dheezy filmed the music video backstage during the Snoop concert with Swifty McVay and Kniva.

“We filmed a music video back in March during the Snoop Dogg concert when he was touring. with just Swifty McVay and Kniva and so we were up there and filming parts of  the video. It was really fun to work with those guys, they were like real nice and super chill to get along with, cracking jokes,  and yea it was just lots of fun,” Dheezy explained.

Getting the assist from M-80 and his Holy Toledo  Productions, Dheezy explained how the project came together  with his help and willingness to help put together features.

“I put my first track out in 2013 on Soundcloud and so I put a  few of my tracks on there over the years, but then I didn’t start  taking it seriously until 2019. By early 2021 I started to do  something with it after meeting up with M-80,” Dheezy said. “The first time I contacted M-80 it was for a feature. Then I was  just seeing all the opportunities he could bring. I thought about  how I wanted to put it all together. It was originally just a few  features, then I started talking to Bizarre on IG and we put  together an EP and it became the Killer Kombo.”

Fans of the new underground and the old school will embrace  this throwback sound led by Dheezy’s off-the-wall rhymes and  peppered with Bizarre’s signature flow and unfiltered lyrics.

While Dheezy is looking to break out of the Australian Hip-Hop  scene he is nevertheless thankful for all of his support at home  and locally.

“There are a lot of small battle things getting around lately, but I  haven’t stuck my nose into local stuff. I have been more focused  overseas, but I would like to get more of a local fan base here  and do more shows.”

Noting that his sound may be difficult to pin down, Dheezy has  been drawn to the metal-influenced rap.

“My sound is kind of hard to describe. I have a lot of different  musical interests, including Limp Bizkit, and more of the metal  rap sound that I like. I’ve been working on some of that. I can’t  really nail down a particular style but I guess I’m a bit  experimental or whatever.”

Additional guest appearances on the project by members of  D-12 include Swifty McVay and Kuniva and Bizarre while Obie Trice appears on the track “Shake That Ass.”

Cypress Hill’s B-Real Stops “Black Sunday” Anniversary Show After Multiple Fans Pass Out

Cypress Hill—dressed to the nines—stepped onto the Mission Ballroom stage in Denver on Thursday night (July 20). Backed by the Colorado Symphony, the groundbreaking Latino Hip-Hop group performed Black Sunday in its entirety in celebration of the album’s 30th anniversary. As expected, the weed smoke was thick as B-Real started rapping “I Wanna Get High,” Black Sunday‘s opening cut. Somewhere between “Insane In The Brain” and “When The Sh## Goes Down,” B-Real suddenly stopped the show after he noticed someone in the audience had passed out and crumpled to the floor.

“Are you OK?” he said through his mic. “When we see one fall down, we pick ’em up.” He added, “We have aggressive songs, but it’s all love,” which elicited a roar of laughter from the crowd. Once the person was stabilized, B-Real, Sen Dog, Eric Bobo, DJ Lord and the dozens of Colorado Symphony members resumed the performance. Speaking to a Mission Ballroom employee, AllHipHop was told four people actually passed out at the same time. When asked what happened, the employee replied, “Oh, just a little too high.”

But that’s par for the course. Not only is it a Cypress Hill show, but it was also held in Colorado, where the recreational weed flows like the Rio Grande. B-Real’s act of goodwill was witnessed by his wife and daughter, who were also in the audience for the special night. The show continued without a hitch. The celebratory vibe was palpable and performance was top tier, a reminder of just how long Cypress Hill has been at the top of their game.

Black Sunday was released on July 20, 1993. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, selling more than 261,000 copies in its opening week. It became the highest Soundscan recording for a Hip-Hop group at the time, while making Cypress Hill the first rap group to have two albums in the Top 10 at the same time.

Black Sunday took us out of the underground,” B-Real said in a recent interview with Rock The Bells. “People heard about us through shows more than they did radio or anything like that. We were building up a reputation, but we weren’t getting any kind of radio play. When Black Sunday hit, it propelled us into the mainstream, which we didn’t anticipate.”

Cypress Hill’s ensuing success afforded them a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Grammy Award nominations and countless other accolades. They’ll perform three more symphony shows—including San Diego and Nashville—before heading overseas.

Prosecutors Reportedly Want Court To Revoke Quando Rondo’s Bond

The Savannah District Attorney’s Office has reportedly filed a motion with the Chatham County Superior Court to have Quando Rondo’s bond revoked.

The request is centered around a Wednesday (July 19) car crash in Savannah, Georgia on the Truman Parkway at White Bluff Road. The court believes the rapper poses a threat to the public.

According to WJCL, the court said the Atlantic Records artist was “observed traveling at a high rate of speed and ultimately crashed his vehicle into another vehicle. Emergency services responded to the scene and the defendant was administered Narcan as he was exhibiting signs of an overdose.”

Authorities also said they believed Quando Rondon was out of sorts, even after they took him to the hospital. They claimed “he became belligerent with hospital staff and ultimately had to be sedated.”

A bond was initially set for $100,000 in June after he was arrested on drug and gang charges.

The prosecution claimed Quando Rondo was a flight risk and a danger to the community. They called him the “leader” of the Rolling 60s Crips in Savannah. Now, he’ll face additional traffic charges on top of his other legal troubles.

Quando Rondo, whose real name is Tyquian Bowman, was charged earlier this year with two counts of conspiracy to violate Georgia’s controlled substances act, one count of participating in criminal activity in association with a street gang and one count of use of communication facility in commission of a felony involving controlled substances.

Cardi B Shouts Out Missy Elliott, Lil Kim, Foxy Brown, Trina & More As Inspirations

Female rappers are having a standout year. Recording artists like Cardi B have helped elevate women in rap to mainstream prominence with popular records and social media interactions.

The New York Times presented a retrospection on Hip-Hop for the culture’s 50th anniversary. As part of the project, numerous rap stars reflected on their personal journeys in their own words.

For her section of the NYT piece, Cardi B noted some of the people that influenced her to make the transition from an innocent kid to diamond-certified musician. Hip-Hop legends such as Missy Elliott and Trina served as inspirations for the Bronx, New York native.

“An unforgettable moment as a child was when I saw Missy Elliott take off her head in the ‘One Minute Man’ video, and that just made me like, go crazy for it,” Cardi B recalled. “That’s all I wanted. It’s like, I don’t want to hear Barney anymore… I don’t want to hear Disney movies music anymore. I just automatically got into Hip-Hop.”

Cardi B’s Cousins Introduced Her To Female Rappers

After becoming a breakout star of the Love & Hip Hop reality television show franchise, Cardi went on to release her Gangsta B#### Music mixtapes. The Grammy winner also addressed relationship issues in songs like “Be Careful” and embraced sex-positive messages in singles like “WAP” featuring Megan Thee Stallion.

“My female cousins that were older than me, they always listened to Lil Kim, Foxy, all the girls that [were] out at the moment,” Cardi B stated. “Then I got into Trina’s type of music. Trina makes like, you know, a nasty, freak nasty type of music.”

She continued, “Lil Kim does freak nasty too, but I feel like they have different types of style. The route for me was more of a Trina route. It’s crazy because I’m a New Yorker, but I was always into that Trina and the Khia and the Jacki-O type of vibe.”

Cardi B also told the Times, “As a teen, it just made me be like, yeah, ‘I wanna be [expletive] like them.’ And that’s how I really am, actually. I started doing music when I was 23, but I was listening to these girls at 15, 16, 17, 18. So the personality that their music gave me stuck to me.”

Gunplay Apologizes After Going Off On A DJ For Playing 50 Cent Songs

Gunplay’s 44th birthday celebration got marred with controversy. The Florida-bred rapper went viral this week when footage of him yelling and throwing a trash can at a DJ spread across the internet.

Online speculation claimed the “Bible on the Dash” performer got upset because DJ Juice played music by 50 Cent inside the G5ive strip club the night of the incident. Gunplay and 50 Cent have been feuding for years.

The video of Gunplay going off on DJ Juice made its way to social media platforms. In the clip, Gunplay can be heard telling people, “Don’t touch me before I shoot this s### up!”

Gunplay has now addressed the situation. The Love & Hip Hop: Miami reality television star posted a lengthy message on his Instagram page which includes an apology to fellow clubgoers.

“DJ Juice started to shout me out for my birthday and started to play ‘Many Men’ by 50 Cent. At this point, I just vibed out and let it play,” wrote Gunplay. “DJ Juice decided to shout my name out once more and play ‘I Smell P####’ by 50 Cent.”

He continued, “At this point, I felt disrespected and tried. How I reacted is clear in the video. I never once intentionally pushed my wife or wanted to cause her harm… I didn’t know who was touching me and wanted them off.”

According to Gunplay, G5ive owner Rick Taylor offered his own apology for the dispute and fired DJ Juice for his actions. Gunplay also wrote, “I apologize to the innocent bystanders who were threatened in my moment of rage. I love my wife and fans.”

G Herbo To Spend Five Years Behind Bars After Taking Plea Deal In Fraud Case

G Herbo is reportedly set to spend five years behind bars after accepting a plea deal in his ongoing wire fraud case.

The Chicago rapper was indicted for conspiracy to commit wire fraud and aggravated identity theft in 2020, alongside several others. Authorities hit G Herbo with an additional charge of making a false statement to a federal official in 2021.

Prosecutors released details of the plea deal earlier this week (July 19), with G Herbo facing a possible 20 years in prison.

However, according to a new report, Herbo will spend five years in prison as part of the agreement. Prosecutors filed the plea deal in the U.S. District Court in Springfield court filings on Wednesday (July 2019), per XXL. The agreement allows G Herbo to plead guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud and making false statements.

If accepted by U.S. District Judge Mark G. Mastroianni, he would serve five years in prison, followed by three years of supervised release. In addition, he must also pay a fine of $250,000.

The plea agreement is currently being finalized, with a hearing provisionally scheduled for July 27.

G Herbo addressed the case in an Instagram post Thursday (July 20). His first post after news of the plea deal broke was to brag about his finances. “I JUST MADE A MILLION LAST WEEK,” he wrote on his IG Story.

He then attempted to shut down any fears that his associates might snitch on him. “I know Foenemm won’t tell on me like n##### told on Thug,” he wrote.

Nas Returns With Third Album In Just Three Years ‘Magic 2’ Featuring 50 Cent, 21 Savage

Nas is back with another project, dropping the Hit-Boy assisted Magic 2, his fifth studio album in just three years.

The 11-track LP arrived Friday (July 21), and clocks in at just over 30 minutes. Nas and Hit-Boy executive produced the project, which only includes two features.

50 Cent fans were hyped when the G-unit mogul announced his surprise appearance on “Office Hours” earlier this week. 21 Savage also features on Magic 2, teaming up with Nas on the previously released “One Mic, One Gun.”

The Nas and Hit-Boy rapper/producer partnership is creating a legacy with five projects over two series.

The duo earned a Grammy for their first King’s Disease collaboration, winning Best Rap Album in 2021. Nas dropped King’s Disease II in 2021 and followed up later that year with Magic. The last in the King’s Disease series, King’s Disease III arrived at the end of 2022.

Stream Magic 2 at the end of the page or listen to it here on Apple Music.

The Queens legend’s prolific output is down to Nas returning to the studio with a consistency he hasn’t experienced in 20 years.

“I’m in one of these creative growth spurts,” he explained to Vanity Fair for their Hip-Hop 50 special last month. “It’s something that I’m really excited about and it surprises me – but I’m not too, too surprised because I was also waiting for the day that I felt like this again, and I knew it would come.”

According to Nas, “It hasn’t been this way for me for probably 20 years. I think that’s what I think today, maybe tomorrow I think about, well, actually accurately seven years, or since I’ve been really in the studio, but when it comes in my head now, it’s been that long—20 years.”
