Producers Of Kim Kardashian’s True-Crime Podcast Deny Failing To Contact Victims

The producers of Kim Kardashian’s new true-crime podcast have insisted they contacted victims.

On Monday, the first episode of the reality TV star’s “The System: The Case of Kevin Keith” debuted on Spotify.

The podcast explores the life of convicted murderer Kevin Keith and makes a case for his release from prison, however, two of Keith’s alleged victims – Quanita and Quentin Reeves – have spoken out against the project, claiming that they were not contacted before it premiered.

But in light of the criticism, producers at production companies Tenderfoot TV and Big City TV maintained that they did reach out to the siblings.

“The production team of ‘The System’ made multiple attempts to reach out to the Reeves siblings. At the time, they decided not to share their story and requested we no longer contact them,” they said in a statement to TMZ. “If they have reconsidered, we welcome them to sit down for the podcast at any time.”

Quanita and Quentin were among the six people injured in a 1994 shooting which Keith was sentenced for. The shooting left three others dead.

In an interview for the Daily Mail on Thursday, the pair alleged that they weren’t contacted by Kim or any other producer about their story.

“(Kim) did not contact us, not one time,” he commented. “If Kim Kardashian wants to get involved, she should come and meet us face-to-face.”

He continued, “We saw it with our own eyes. You don’t forget something like that. I don’t care what Kim Kardashian says – Kevin did it.”

Quanita added, “We should have been the first call.”

In 2010, Keith’s sentence was commuted to life without parole.

Whoopi Goldberg Blasts Fat Shaming Critic Over Her Role In “Till”

Whoopi Goldberg has slammed a film critic for claiming she wore a “fat suit” in the new movie “Till.”

During an appearance on “The View,”, the “Sister Act” actress called out an unnamed reviewer who made a comment about her wearing a “distracting fat suit” to portray Emmett Till’s grandmother, Alma Carthan, in the biographical feature.

However, during a conversation on the talk show, Whoopi noted that she wasn’t wearing a fat suit and looked different because she had suffered a variety of health issues in the lead-up to production beginning in September 2021.

“I don’t really care about how you felt about the movie. But you should know that was not a fat suit, that was me. That was me,” she fired. “That was steroids. Remember last year? I assume you don’t watch the show, or you would know that was not a fat suit. It’s O.K. not to be a fan of a movie, but you want to leave people’s looks out. Just comment on the acting. And if you have a question, ask somebody. I’m sure you didn’t mean to be demeaning.”

Directed by Chinonye Chukwu, “Till” is delves into the life of Mamie Till-Mobley and her fight for justice after the lynching of her 14-year-old son Emmett in 1955.

The film, which also features Danielle Deadwyler, Jalyn Hall, Frankie Faison, and Haley Bennett, is set to be released in U.S. cinemas on October 14th.

Antonio Brown Accused Of Using Lil Wayne To Run Scam That Netted Hundreds-Of-Thousands

Former football star/rapper Antonio Brown is back in headlines after a Florida music promoter alleged he beat him for $500,000.

In a lawsuit filed on Wednesday, October 6th, in a Sarasota County Circuit Court, a promoter for Secure the Bag Entertainment said Brown used Lil Wayne’s name to try and get a contract for $100,000.

The complaint alleged that the athlete breached his contract and defamed the company over an “exclusive artist agreement” between him and Secure the Bag Entertainment.

One allegation is that he sold the company’s owner, Ryan Kane a fake high-end watch for $160,000. Other complaints said he defrauded the company out of $178,000 in counterfeit expenses for reimbursement and made a bunch of sexist, racist, lewd, and threatening messages to several STB execs and others.

The lawsuit says the expenses included Brown spending $87,000 to rent a Los Angeles recording studio for five hours and about $8,500 to pay for some of Brown’s entourage to fly in a private jet. 

It also states, when they refused to pay the expenses, the football player started making “defamatory statements on social media about STB writing bad checks and not paying their bills.”

Kane said he considers Brown nothing but a “liar and a thief.”

“Now I know how the Raiders felt when they paid him [at least $1 million], and he never played a single game for them,” Kane said.

“I gave him … a huge advance and an opportunity to make money legitimately, and all he did was walk off the field,” he continued.

According to Kane, he gave Brown a $150,000 advance to sign with his company, believing he would shoot a video to promote “Cracked,” a song he did with Lil Wayne.

But, after Brown told Kane that Lil Wayne wanted to be paid “$250,000 in cash” and that he would receive the money for the Young Money rapper, things got crazy when Brown threatened the man saying, “the check better be good.”

Kane wrote the check with good intentions but decided to stop payment after some thought.

As reported by AllHipHop.com, Antonio Brown is already in hot water after a video circulated of him exposing his private parts to a woman in a hotel pool in Dubai.

The New York Post reported after the video was made public, the troubled All-Pro wide receiver texted one of their reporters, saying, “do what u got to do p#### u white boys dead already.”

One of the most prestigious schools in the United States, the University of California (Berkeley), has announced that they will be offering a new course in the Spring 2023 semester, zeroing in on the feminist dynamics of Nicki Minaj.

The course is titled, “Nicki Minaj: The Black Barbie Femmecee & Hip Hop Feminisms,” and will embark on encouraging students to consider the impact the Queens native has had on HipHop culture and the music industry.

It further endeavors to connect to the “broader historical-social structures and Hip-Hop feminisms.”

Kanye West and Justin Bieber may no longer be friends after the rap star attacked his wife earlier in the week during one of many Instagram tirades. 

The straw that broke the camel’s back was Ye making fun of his wife’s nose and hanging out with other men – most notably Drake!

It started when Hailey defended Vogue Editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson after Kanye attacked her. When Yeezy heard about it, he basically called the young socialite “Nose Job Hailey Baldloose.”

He then said, “Get your girl before I get mad. You spose to be my friend right.”

After that, Kanye posted a picture of Hailey on a date with Drake in 2016.

Justin and his wife spent time in Kanye’s Wyoming estate when he was recording Donda. Back then, the two seemed to be very supportive of Kanye.

Britney Spears has rejected her mother Lynne Spears’s apology to her.

Following the termination of her controversial conservatorship last November, the popstar has regularly criticized her family, including mum Lynne and father Jamie, for their treatment of her over the course of the 13-year arrangement.

Last week, Lynne pleaded for the 40-year-old’s forgiveness in the comments section of one of her Instagram posts, commenting that she was “soooo sorry” and asked that she unblock her so that they could speak in person.

Britney returned to Instagram and lashed out over Lynne’s attempt to reconcile.

“Mom take your apology and go f### yourself !!! And to all the doctors for f###### with my mind… I pray you all burn in hell !!! Kiss my mother f###### ass !!!!” she wrote.

In addition, Britney reiterated claims that she was “scared to move” during her stay at a mental health facility in 2019.

Kanye West responded to criticism of his ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt.

After receiving backlash for wearing the controversial top to his Yeezy fashion show in Paris on Monday, the Donda rapper addressed his critics in an Instagram post.

Alongside a Vanessa Beecroft image of a white woman holding two Black babies, Kanye referred to himself in third person and wrote, “Ye cares about black lives. Ye’s White Lives Matters is a comment on the status quo.”

The star continued by critiquing those who have commented on the shirt.

“When an artist like Ye challenges those framed spaces – in a dialectical way – he is persecuted. He puts the grand narratives at risk,” the 45-year-old recounted. “Ye proves that if artists have an opinion in territories that are unknown and new, like any true revolutionary, they are assaulted. Ye is an artist, Ye cares about all lives, all people, and he is working against all oppression.”

Earlier, Vogue editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson explained in her own Instagram post why the shirt’s message sparked criticism, arguing that by affirming White Lives Matter, Kanye was “trying to illustrate a dystopian world when whiteness might become extinct or at least would be in enough danger to demand defence.”

She continued, “But the danger is that, this very premise, the idea that white supremacy is in danger of extinction… is what justifies mass incarceration, murder on masse, indeed even the advent of slavery.”

Rapper Flo Rida Gives Back To Help After Hurricane Ian Leaves Community In Shambles

Florida native and rapper Flo Rida has kicked in to help those disenfranchised by Hurricane Ian, the category 4 storm that devastated the state when it touched down at the end of September.

The chart-topper partnered with Miami Gardens to team up with relief and rescue.

According to CBS Miami News, the “Low” rapper sponsored a trailer that will bring supplies to the Harlem Heights community, a neighborhood to the north of Fort Myers after they petitioned the city to help them.

He said, “I feel like it is very important that we give back, in any shape or form.”

“What we are doing is feeling up this trailer, so that we can go and help the community of Harlem Heights that’s going through the devastation,” he explained as he referenced what seemed to be a semi-trailer eighteen-wheeler filled with much-needed resources.

The star added, “It is important when you are blessed to be a blessing. From day one of my career, I always thought that if anything happens and I am financially stable, I am going to give back.”

The rapper stood with Reggie Leon, the vice mayor of Miami Gardens, who said, “It could be us next week. So, we want to make sure that we continue to support our sister city.”

In addition to helping those impacted by the hurricane, he went a local school in Miami Gardens and helped celebrate the school custodial engineers on National Custodian Day.

He posted on Instagram, “Scott Lake Elementary School welcome me and the @theimgallstars with open arms. Glad I was able to help show them that all positions in school is just as important as the next. @oyababyy @variefresh3 @intlnephew”

It appears a potential new body of work by Iggy Azalea has the Australian in the hot seat. This week, controversial singer/rapper Tory Lanez announced he will be executive producing Azalea’s next music project.

Rick Ross Threatens To Sue A Woman For Using ‘Boss’ For Her Business

Music mogul Rick Ross is gearing up to sue a woman for using his trademark moniker, “Boss.”

According to TMZ, the rapper-turned-businessman wants Tiffany McIntosh to change the name of her event from “I’m the Biggest Boss Conference,” going down on Oct. 13 through Oct. 16, to something else. He said she is biting from songs like “The Boss” and “Push It,” using his already established brand, to build up hers.

He also believes it causes brand confusion with his “Boss Up Conference” that happened in September.

McIntosh’s event will also be star-studded with the likes Vivica Fox, Master P, and Romeo Miller.

The rapper said he would like to handle this outside of court but would require her to change the title and stop using his music to promote it.

The Florida native wanted McIntosh to give him a decision by Wednesday, October 5. However, sources say she has no intentions of changing anything and is set to go forward with her event.

D.A. Requests For Young Thug Trial To Be Delayed Two Months

Despite seeming to go full steam ahead, the DA in the Young Thug/YSL RICO case has asked for a delay in the proceedings.

According to FOX 5, on Thursday, October 6th, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis filed a motion to pause the trial for “Go Crazy” rapper, his protégé Gunna and 26 other alleged gang members.

Willis asked for the delay because many of the defendants, 8 out of the 28, do not have lawyers to represent them.

Willis proposed that the case, slated to start on January 9th, 2023, be pushed back to March 27th, 2023.

She requested in the motion for “a continuance to the final week in March,” saying it “would protect the speedy trial rights of those who have asserted those rights, while also ensuring that the additional eight defendants have properly prepared appointed counsel.”

As reported by AllHipHop.com, Young Thug and Gunna were both arrested on RICO charges, alleging their record label YSL is actually a street gang called “Young Slime Life” and is connected to an assortment of violence, drugs, and possibly murder.

Willis continued to write that the prosecution is “concerned about the inconvenience and “trauma” of repeated testimony of witnesses who were the victims of violent gang crimes.”

A decision is still pending review, and a judge will decide if the extension can be offered.

Meek Mill Is Fed Up With Kanye West

Meek Mill aired out his grievances with Kanye West after the “White Lives Matter” shirt controversy.

The Philly rapper admonished Kanye West in an Instagram Stories post on Friday (October 7). Meek Mill detailed his disappointment after years of supporting ‘Ye.

“I used to listen to ye every night [in] jail for motivation on god!” Meek Mill wrote. “And came home and watched him s### on my name and brand like nothing …. I ain’t say nothing … but I been knew you was on that nerd tryna s### on street N##### you just said it to boosie… it hurts my heart to even know some of y’all this crazy and lame.”

He continued, “I go off person not fame for money… Speaking from a n#### that been buying [and supporting] ye since he came out .. but what you be doing for fame driving you crazy … look how hard you came at me n##### know I’m vocal it’s like you hate your own people.”

Meek Mill also complained about ‘Ye not supporting Vory, who’s signed to Dream Chaser Records. Vory contributed to multiple tracks on Kanye West’s Donda album.

The rumored romance between Tory Lanez and Iggy Azalea sparked a collaboration.

Tory Lanez announced plans to executive produce Iggy Azalea’s next album on Friday (October 7). The two recently fueled dating rumors with their interactions in public and on social media.

Tory Lanez defended working with Iggy Azalea after a Twitter user questioned his decision. He referenced her sales in response.

Last year, Iggy Azalea claimed she was stepping away from music. She planned to go on a hiatus following the release of her End of an Era album.

“I am going to take a few years to focus on other creative projects and things I’m feeling passionate and inspired by, beyond music,” she said.

Earlier this year, Iggy Azalea changed her mind and promised to return in 2023. Now, Tory Lanez will be in her corner if his legal issues don’t prevent him from doing so.

Kanye West berated Diddy after the Bad Boy Records founder denounced Yeezy’s “White Lives Matter” shirts.

‘Ye posted screenshots of their text messages in a series of Instagram posts on Friday (October 7). Kanye West antagonized Diddy, who wanted to arrange a meeting between the two.

“I didn’t like our convo,” Kanye West wrote in one text. “I’m selling these tees. Nobody gets in between me and my money. This is my grandfather texting you now. Never call me with no b####### like that again unless you ready to green light me. Cause anybody who got on that tee is me. Out of respect for everything you’ve meant to me I’ll be quiet as Virgil. Kanye West refused to meet with Diddy but was willing to text with the Hip Hop mogul.

“As soon as I land we’ll meet face to face!!!” Diddy wrote in one text. “Send me a address.”

Kanye West responded, “N#### FUUUUUCK YOU. YOU FED.”

Diddy insisted on talking to Kanye West in person but kept facing resistance. ‘Ye mentioned a wild conspiracy theory, claiming Jewish people manipulated Diddy behind the scenes.

“N#### send me a address,” Diddy wrote. “Let’s stop playing these internet games. And don’t feel threatened. You’ll be fine. Just love.”

Kanye West replied, “This ain’t a game. Ima use you as an example to show the Jewish people that told you to call me that no one can threaten or influence me. I told you this was war. Now gone get you some business.”

Diddy attempted to defuse the situation but couldn’t get through to ‘Ye.

“I’m just trying to talk to you as a black man,” Diddy explained. “And I’m talking to you because this is hurting our people. Stop.”

Tsu Surf Breaks Silence, Finally Addresses RICO Rumors

“Free Surf” began trending last weekend after rumors that Tsu Surf had been arrested on RICO charges hit the net. The New Jersey battle rapper has finally broken his silence stating: “I prolly never step on a stage again.” 

The Garden State native hopped on Twitter to address his fans on Thursday evening (Oct. 6), although he used a burner account rather than his official verified page. He fired off a series of cryptic messages addressing the RICO charges, hinting that life will never be the same.  

“I prolly never step on a stage again….God has a way of Humbling Us,” penned Tsu Surf. “Life without the lights….I wonder how it’s gone be.” 

Earlier in the week, Lisa Evers at Fox 5 News NY reported she had spoken to Surf’s friend and manager, Qua Bellamy, who confirmed: “Tsu Surf is definitely not on the run. He is in good spirits and preparing to deal with a federal law enforcement matter.”  

Bellamy added that the rapper is taking care of his family and business associates. Surf “does not know the severity of the situation yet, but is preparing for the worst and praying for the best.” He asked fans to respect his privacy and send positive energy and prayers his way. Tsu Surf Confirms RICO Charges

However, it appears despite taking steps to take his music and battle rap career to the next level, Tsu Surf is facing RICO charges. After Evers confirmed Surf was not caught up in Operation Rodeo, he took to Twitter to shoot down the rumors that he was not involved in another RICO case.  

“So… because a n#### not on ONE RICO case, it means he not on ANOTHER? 😒. The internet dumb,” he wrote. “Who tf plays wit Rico next to they name.”  

Surf also cryptically shared a recent image of Assata Shakur, the godmother of Tupac who has been on the run from the FBI for over 40 years.  

When whispers of Surf’s arrest began, battle rap vlogger Vada Fly revealed he spoke to Surf, who told him the charges may stem from something he’s done in the past. The talented artist was “blindsided” by the allegations and has no clue why he is being targeted. 

While Tsu Surf was arrested on gun charges several times prior to 2019, he has spent the last three years focused on his career goals. He’s made music with some top names in Hip-Hop, including Benny the Butcher, Jim Jones, Chris Brown, and Mozzy.  

As a battler, he is at the top of the game, currently on one of the longest winning streaks in modern battle rap history. His last battle was against fellow veteran JC on URL’s Summer Madness in September. The following day Tsu Surf made history as the first battle rapper to perform at Rolling Loud. 

Ray J Shares Suicidal Thoughts On Social Media

Singer and reality star Ray J is usually the star of the show, bringing his fans high-octane moments and laughs for days.

However, Brandy’s little brother was not in a funny mood, sharing on social media multiple statements that could be seen as suicidal.

On Thursday night, the artist said he was thinking about what would happen if he were to “die,” and questioning his existence.

One caption read, “If it wasn’t 4 my Kidz I would jump off and die tonight.”

Another was an image of his feet with him saying, “SHOULD I JUST JUMP off and end it rit. Now!!! ????”

He posted a series of videos and statements that said, “trying to figure it out — maybe this life was a illusion— maybe the next life was my real reality.”

Ray J has been under a great deal of stress, including dealing with a divorce from his children’s mother, Princess Love, and the sex tape scandal with The Jenner-Kardashian clan.

As reported by AllHipHop.com, Ray J was upset that Kris Jenner took a lie detector test, saying she did not have anything to do with the leak of the sex tape between him and her daughter Kim Kardashian.

Ray J took to social media and showed contracts (allegedly with Kardashian’s signature and fingerprint) that proved the two knew all along about the adult film and actually produced the third one that they said they were afraid would be released.

A businessman and an influencer, there have been a lot on his plate.

Luckily, TMZ reports Ray J is ok, saying he is “messing around.”

G Herbo Reveals Release Date For ‘Survivor’s Remorse: B Side’

Chicago-bred rapper G Herbo became a Twitter trending topic today (October 7) following the release of his latest body of work. He let loose Survivor’s Remorse: A Side at midnight on the East Coast.

The 12-track album features contributions by Jeremih, Offset, Future, Benny The Butcher, and Gunna. Another edition of G Herbo’s Survivor’s Remorse will hit DSPs in the near future.

Eddie Francis spoke to Herbo for Apple Music 1’s New Music Daily. The conversation included a tease for when the rhymer’s followers can expect the second part of Survivor’s Remorse.

“October 10th. That’s Monday. So we [are] out tonight at midnight, side A drops. At midnight, Side A drops 10/7. And B Side, 10/10,” G Herbo told Eddie Francis. “Like I said, I wanted to give fans a little time to live with it. So they got the whole weekend to digest the music.”

The Machine Entertainment Group representative also stated, “And s###, I’m excited, bro. I know my fans are excited. And like I said, it’s been a long journey, bro. So I’m just happy to be here and I want to keep the momentum going, most importantly.”

G Herbo partnered with YSL recording artist Gunna for “Shordie” off Survivor’s Remorse: A Side. At the moment, Gunna is presently behind bars awaiting a RICO trial in the state of Georgia. Herbo spoke about his relationship with the Atlanta native.

“I’ll be checking in third party on [Gunna] and [Young Thug], just reaching out and sending my love. I know when you’re in that type of situation it’s really overwhelming,” offered G Herbo. So it’s just really trying to send positive energy and love to them because they’re my brothers for real. Not on no music, on a personal level, those are two people that I really care about.”

Herbo added, “Yeah. I need to make sure I’ve got Slime on the album, Gunna on the album. Those are relationships that I cultivated and the music just happened naturally. We really hang out and don’t have nothing to do with no music. So, we get in the studio and record music, it’s like that’s just a bonus. I appreciate the friendship more than anything.”

Survivor’s Remorse: A Side joins a G Herbo album catalog that already contained 2017’s Humble Beast, 2018’s Swervo, 2019’s Still Swervin, 2020’s PTSD, and 2021’s 25. The 26-year-old entertainer has also dropped several mixtapes such as 2014’s Welcome to Fazoland and 2015’s Ballin Like I’m Kobe.

The Game Claims Dr. Dre Never Produced Any Of His Songs

Many Hip Hop fans consider The Game one of the top artists to emerge from the musical family tree of legendary producer Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment. In 2006, The Game even released an album titled Doctor’s Advocate.

Dr. Dre also executive produced The Game’s debut studio LP, The Documentary. That project includes Dre being credited as a music producer on several tracks, including “How We Do” featuring 50 Cent.

The Game admits that his current standing with Dr. Dre is not as strong as it was in the past. Apparently, Game’s public comments – like saying Kanye “Ye” West did more for his career in two weeks than Dr. Dre ever did – soured the relationship.

In an interview with Uproxx’s Fresh Pair, The Game went into further detail about his history with Dr. Dre. The Drillmatic – Heart vs. Mind album creator claimed his former mentor was not as directly involved with his music as some listeners may think.

“Dre didn’t do any beats on The Documentary. But I didn’t say he didn’t oversee it,” said The Game. “You want Dre to oversee anything because he’s a mastermind when it comes to that. But as far as doing a beat for The Documentary? No, and I’ve never had a Dre beat in my career.”

The official credits for The Documentary album list Dr. Dre as a producer or co-producer on seven of the eighteen tracks. However, The Game suggested other producers were actually behind the beats that made it onto the project.

“A bunch of dope producers that Dre had under him or whoever – Scott Storch, the Just Blazes, the Swizz Beatzs, the Timbalands – helped me put together my classic album,” stated The Game.

The 42-year-old emcee added, “I can’t give Dre credit for the Just Blaze beat. It’s a Dr. Dre executive-produced album, but people just don’t understand the underlinings and how the business works.”

Game also pointed out that he has never had an official collaboration or music video with Dr. Dre. He then named some of the times he worked with producer/rapper Kanye West. Recently, The Game and Ye teamed up for “Eazy” off 2022’s Drillmatic.

YG Addresses Rumors He Dissed PnB Rock With “How To Rob A Rapper”

The timing of YG releasing his music video for “How To Rob A Rapper” caused some music fans to question the West Coaster’s motive. The visuals dropped three weeks after a gunman killed PnB Rock during a robbery in Los Angeles.

“Catch a n#### lacking, he slacking on IG Live. He gon show his whereabouts on accident, he be high. He gon show the jewels he wearing and the car that he drives. Stupid n#### showed the same location three times,” raps YG on “How To Rob A Rapper.”

Those lyrics by YG appeared to echo many of the criticisms directed at PnB Rock’s girlfriend at the time of his death. Even celebrities, such as Kodak Black, slammed Stephanie Sibounheuang for posting the couple’s public location on the day of the shooting.

According to local authorities, Sibounheuang’s social media activity did not play a role in PnB Rock being gunned down at Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘N Waffle. Multiple suspects reportedly arrived at the location before the Instagram posts went public.

YG insists “How To Rob A Rapper” was not a commentary on the murder of PnB Rock. The I Got Issues album creator stopped by the L.A. Leakers radio show, and he addressed the controversy surrounding the track.

“I gotta say this. ‘How To Rob A Rapper’ ain’t no a diss. It’s just a message to these rappers, ‘Please, be on your s###,'” said YG during his L.A. Leakers freestyle on Power 106.

The Compton native rhymed over Nipsey Hussle’s “Hussle In The House” from 2009. Hussle also lost his life in the Los Angeles area due to gun violence. YG ended his freestyle by saying, “Long live Nip Hussle. Long live Slim 400.”

Dan Patrick On Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show: Rihanna Hasn’t Done Anything

Last month, the NFL announced Rihanna will headline the Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show. While many fans of the music superstar rejoiced, Dan Patrick would have preferred another act to take the stage on February 12, 2023.

The Domenick Nati Show recently spoke to Dan Patrick about the upcoming mid-game concert. The former SportsCenter anchor had Country/Pop singer Taylor Swift as his first choice for a performer over Rihanna.

“I would’ve chosen Taylor Swift, but Taylor says that she’s gotta wait ’til she re-records all of her albums,” said Dan Patrick. “I would’ve been curious who she would’ve brought in.”

The radio personality continued, “Rihanna hasn’t done anything, really. Not that much. She’s more of a fashion icon now.” The 34-year-old billionaire founded the Fenty fashion house in 2017.

Rihanna Is One Of The Most Successful Recording Artists Of The Last 20 Years

Rihanna has 14 songs that have reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart in the United States. That total puts her in fourth place on the all-time list of most Number Ones. The 9-time Grammy winner only trails The Beatles (20), Mariah Carey (19), and Elvis Presley (18).

In addition, each of Rihanna’s eight studio LPs earned at least Platinum certification from the RIAA. 2007’s Good Girl Gone Bad is 6x-Platinum. Her 2016 album, Anti, has charted on the Billboard 200 for over 300 weeks.

Roc Nation will produce the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show. The company’s founder, Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter, helped break Rihanna as a music star. Jay-Z shared his thoughts on his musical protégé serving as the Super Bowl LVII headliner.

“Rihanna is a generational talent, a woman of humble beginnings who has surpassed expectations at every turn. A person born on the small island of Barbados who became one of the most prominent artists ever. Self-made in business and entertainment,” expressed Jay-Z.
