Latto Plans To Fire Back At Foes On “Sunday Service” Track, According To Funk Flex

Will Latto’s upcoming “Sunday Service” single serve as a response to the Atlanta rapper’s adversaries? A veteran DJ from New York City seems to confirm the song will aim at someone.

Funkmaster Flex shared a screenshot of an alleged text from RCA Records representative Kevin Valentini on Instagram. Valentini’s message read, “Latto firing back… ‘Sunday Service’ drops Friday… you’ll have it when I get it.”

The Hot 97 radio personality captioned his Instagram post, “HAD TO LET @INCA_NY/@RCARECORDS KNOW THAT I AM THE PRESIDENT OF THE ICE SPICE FAN CLUB! PLUS I’M FROM THE BRONX! [face with tears of joy emojis].”

Speculation suggested that “Sunday Service” will target Bronx-bred artist Ice Spice. The two rap stars have reportedly been sending subliminal shots at each other for months.

In January, Latto uploaded a “Sunday Service” snippet. Ice Spice appeared on a television screen in the clip as Latto raps, “I just want a one-on-one, don’t know why she’s so nervous.”

Ice Spice reacted to that viral “Sunday Service” promotional video. She said, “Why am I seeing that I’m in the back of your weak-ass snippet?” I was like, ‘Wait a second, that’s me?’”

The Capitol Records-backed performer also confirmed Latto’s video inspired her “Think U the S### (Fart)” single. “Sunday Service” hits DSPs on Friday (February 9).

Joe Budden Rips Travis Scott & Playboi Carti Over 2024 Grammys Performance

Joe Budden is steaming mad over Travis Scott and Playboi Carti’s energetic performance at the Grammys, calling them out on the latest episode of his podcast.

While he loves their song, “Fein“, Budden thinks the duo lacked the decorum required for the prestigious occasion. He also tore into Scott over his stage antics before calling out Carti for wearing a mask.

“What the f### is Travis and his man doing up here?” Budden questioned. “Ay, you two bozos! Get the f### off the stage when n####s got beautiful women and tuxedos on, honestly. You up there smashing s###. You got the nerve.”

Although Budden admitted the set was “on brand,” he deemed it inappropriate for the Grammys.

“All that s### look different when it ain’t a thousand little white kids jumping up and down. When there are grown people here, all that ‘fein, fein, fein,’ that’s what you wanted to win over Killer Mike? You’re fu###n’ stupid!”

Joe Budden left Travis Scott for a moment, pivoting to Carti and clowning him for performing in a mask.

“You bring your man out, Playboi Carti. The crowd just stays silent,” Budden added. “Playboi Carti looked confused like, ‘Y’all don’t know who I am?’ No, n####! You got a f###ing mask on. Who the f### are you under there? You are not at SXSW anymore! We can’t recognize you Bozo’s by the stocking mask you’re wearing. I hate these n####, man, all of ’em!”

Rick Ross On Whether Nicki Minaj Went “Too Far” In Megan Thee Stallion Beef

Rick Ross is weighing in on the Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion beef, sharing his thoughts on what is “too far” in rap beef.

The warring duo sent shots at each other on diss tracks, sending shockwaves through the internet. Minaj references Meg’s deceased mom in her song. She also advised Megan to “conjure up her mother and apologize,” during an Instagram Live amid the drama.

Security was ramped up at Megan’s mother’s grave site after Nicki Minaj stans shared the address online.

In addition, the family of the late Megan Kanka called out the Houston rapper over her “Megan’s Law” lyric.

Despite all the controversy, Rick Ross says there’s no such thing as going too far in rap beef.

“I really don’t think you could go too far,’ he said during a recent appearance on the Impaulsive podcast. “This a sport. It’s Hip-Hop, it’s about having that fun. I call it fun. Megan got off her record, she got off her joint. You know Nicki being the queen she is in the rap game, she responded, got off a record, and that’s what you supposed to do.”

The hosts asked Rick Ross if Nicki Minaj went too far by mentioning Megan Thee Stallion’s mom.

“Is she disrespecting her dead mother? I haven’t heard it,” he said. “I’ve done things too. When I’m at odds and I’m making my music, I’ve done things and said things So, sometimes it’s f### ‘em.”

D.L. Hughley Slams Mo’Nique Over Viral Interview: “She’s a Liar”

D.L. Hughley is calling out Mo’Nique, claiming she lied about him during her recent viral interview with Shannon Sharpe on his “Club Shay Shay” podcast.

“Every time I see Mo’Nique these days, she’s doing some greasy ass video with her and her daddy complaining about something or working out,” he said in a video posted on Instagram.

In her Club Shay Shay interview, Mo’Nique claimed her beef with Hughley stems from an issue she had with him over a segment on his radio show. Hughley was not there during her appearance, but his co-hosts asked her to play a game of “Would You Rather,” and asked questions about her husband.

Mo’Nique took offense to the segment and called Hughley to vent about it.

However, Hughley claims Mo’nique is being less than truthful.

“She said I was very dismissive,” Hughley stated in reference to Mo’Nique’s Club Shay Shay interview. “Monique’s a liar. When Mo’Nique did call me, I heard her complaints. I listened to her, and I pulled the segment. So, if I had been as dismissive as she alleges I was, that segment would have aired. It didn’t because I respected her wishes. She’s a liar.”

He went on to address his recent public spat with the actress and comedian, which began over a contract dispute and led to Mo’Nique condemning Hughley’s alleged handling of his daughter’s sexual assault complaint.

“This broad even brought out my daughter’s personal trauma,” Hughley continued. “My daughter was molested, and Monique bought that s### out and told the world that I allowed my daughter to be raped in front of me. The lying muthafucka.”

According to Hughley, Mo’Nique “knows she was lying,” and only stopped when his family members “checked her.”

Chrisean Rock Says War In Gaza Happening Because Palestinians “Don’t Believe In Jesus”

Chrisean Rock is facing backlash over her comments on the plight of the Palestinian people amid the war in Gaza.

During a recent Instagram Live talk, the reality TV starlet and her sister discussed the war as scripture fulfilled.

“They don’t believe in Jesus,” Chrisean Rock said. “So that’s why it’s happening right there.”

She also referred to Palestinians as “them people that’s bowing down with them carpets that’s on the floor.”

Chrisean Rock continued, “I seen videos where they pray at. It’s cockroaches and infested with … so, what is God trying to tell us? What is the message being the chaos. Yeah, we know war, the war. But things always happen for a reason and it’s happening.”

The sisters claimed the war was a sign of the second coming of Christ and the arrival of “end times.”

“I feel like all that stuff is happening where Jesus was born for a reason,” she added. “It has to correlate to something about God. Yeah, it has something to do with the war, but it has something to do spiritual too.”

Rock went on to explain her “theory” behind the conflict in the region.

“That’s where Jesus was born at but it’s like a lot of people over there, they don’t pray to Jesus. They praying to Allah and they saying Jesus just was a prophet. So, I thought it had something to do with that,” she stated.

Last month, CNN reported “About one in every 100 people in Gaza has been killed since the war between Israel and Hamas erupted on October 7.”

Chrisean Rock Slammed Online For Views On War In Gaza

Viewers of the live began leaving in droves, and social media users called for her cancellation once clips surfaced online.

“Muslims believe in Jesus! What about the Palestinian Christian’s that are being slaughtered & the churches that Israel has bombed? How can you justify 30,000+ civilians being killed?” wrote one Instagram User.

“Girl you don’t believe in Jesus u believe in blue face sit this one out suh,” another added.

A third person declared, “omg, she’s finally going to get canceled fr!! THANK YOU!!”

Usher Draws Inspiration From Michael Jackson For Super Bowl Show

Usher has revealed stars including Michael Jackson and Madonna have inspired his upcoming Super Bowl performance. The R&B legend is due to headline the Apple Music Halftime Show on Sunday and has been studying his favorite past performances to pick up tips.

“I’ve enjoyed Prince, Coldplay, Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, Madonna,” he said in an interview with Billboard. “There are tons of things that I was able to pick up on, from looking at how they chose to enter, what they did while they were onstage and how they chose to close.”

When it comes to his favorite Halftime headline performance, there is only one winner for Usher.

“But the one that really stands out is Michael,” the Yeah! singer said. “Michael brought in his own director, obviously paid a lot of money and spent a lot of time designing that incredible moment.”

Usher, 45, also revealed he has spoken to a series of music superstars who previously headlined the high-profile event.

“I’ve happened to be around a few people who’ve played the Super Bowl, and they did give me some pointers,” he teased. “I also happened to be on a boat not too long ago with Katy Perry, who gave me some notes. I heard that Rihanna stood up for me and said something really incredible about Usher landing the gig. I really appreciated that.”

Usher went on to reveal he is “so ready” for the performance and promised fans it would be a celebration of his 30 years in the music industry.

“I’m so ready for it to happen. I just want to sing louder than I’ve ever sang; dance harder than I’ve ever danced,” he vowed.

Kristin Cavallari Claims Diddy “Love-Bombed” Her In Attempt To Get Date

Kristin Cavallari has claimed she “dodged a bullet” by turning down a date with Sean “Diddy” Combs. “The Laguna Beach” star claimed during Tuesday’s episode of her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast that Diddy inundated her with Valentine’s Day gifts and asked her out on a date around 15 years ago.

“He sent me the biggest bouquet of flowers I’ve ever seen. The biggest box of chocolates I’ve ever seen. A huge teddy bear,” she said. “I mean, it was like, ‘H########.’ I mean, it was multiple people bringing s### into my house. It was like s### you see in a movie.”

Diddy aka “Love,” 54, allegedly told Cavallari, 37, that she was his “TV crush” and “kept asking (her) out” – but she wasn’t interested.

“I mean, there’s obviously a part where you’re like, ‘Whoa, this guy is spoiling the s### out of me.’ Like that’s so sweet, and I’ve never met this guy,” she explained. “I could never just go on a date with someone because it was so-and-so. I have always had to be attracted to you… I don’t want to be the arm candy.”

In hindsight, the TV personality believes his extravagant gifts were a “red flag,” adding, “I mean, that’s some love-bombing kind of shit.”

Kristin Cavallari added that she “dodged a fucking bullet” by rejecting Diddy, who was accused of sexual assault by his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura late last year. They settled her lawsuit a day after it was filed.

After three more women came forward with sexual misconduct allegations, Diddy wrote on Instagram, “Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.”

Blaqbonez Recalls Ludacris Reaching Out For Collaboration & ‘Emeka Must Shine’ Album

Afrobeats artist Blaqbonez is best known for his spitfire rhymes and versatility, all captured within his different personas. At the age of 13, Blaqbonez was already spitting, releasing his first project called Hip Hop Is Blaq while attending Obafemi Awolowo University. He soon made a name for himself amongst the students, which eventually transferred to social media. Boasting 1.4 million followers on Instagram alone, Blaqbonez even coined himself as BRIA: Best Rapper in Africa.

Three words to describe Blaqbonez? Unpredictable, exciting, and spontaneous. He states, “I’m a rapper, singer, Afrobeats artist. I can make so many different sounds. I consider my music very exciting. It’s a different brand to it. To me, it’s a little more unpredictable.”

Fast forward to 2023, Blaqbonez returns with his sophomore album, Emeka Must Shine, solidifying his role as a transformative figure in the world of Afrobeats. The 14-track project hails standout appearances from Victony, Ludcaris, Zlatan and more.

AllHipHop caught up with Blaqbonez during his few days in Los Angeles, with Akon personally calling him to perform with him at the “Grammy Salute To 50 Years Of Hip-Hop” Live Concert Special. Read below as we discuss his roots in Lagos, his new song “Like Ice Spice,” working with Ludacris, and more!

AllHipHop: Growing up in Lagos, did you ever think you’d be here today?

When I was a kid, I never thought I’d be coming in and out of the U.S frequently like this. So far, I’ve been to the U.S 5-6 times this year alone. That is a lot for someone like me. Being a kid from Nigeria, I neer have thought I would ever be in the U.S yet alone this often. I am grateful for the path I have been on and the trajectory of my career so far.

AllHipHop: What do you like about Los Angeles?

Man, I love the scenery here. I love that it is always sunny and there are so many palm trees. I love the hills and the vegetation. I love LA so far.

AllHipHop: I’m curious what Lagos looks like.

Lagos is nice, but Lagos could have had better city planning. Lagos has great spots here and there. Llots of great people and great things came out of Lagos and Nigeria in general, but the planning and structuring out the city could have definitely been better.

AllHipHop: How’d you get your name?

Funny story, it was my friend’s name. He wasn’t using it, so he gave it to me. From then, the name just stuck with me.

AllHipHop: You just released Emeka Must Shine. What’s one thing you want fans to take away from this project?

Man, I want this project to be part of my fans’ happy moments. I want it to be part of the celebrations they have in their lives. When you go to the club and hear my music, I want you to have a good time. During your exciting week or celebrating something, I want my album to be part of your good times. That’s what this album is for me. That’s the takeaway.

AllHipHop: I was listening to “Like Ice Spice.” Has she heard it?

Blaqbonez: I’m sure she has and I hope she liked it. The song is dedicated to her beautiful self.

AllHipHop: What do you like about Ice Spice?

Blaqbonez: She’s so sexy. When she did the “Munch” video, I liked the way she would go down and shake her ass. “Like Ice Spice” is a tribute to her and how Ice moves.

AllHipHop: Let’s talk about what it was like linking up with Zlatan on “Bad Till Eternity.”

Blaqbonez: This song is definitely for the culture man. It was nice linking up with my bro Zlatan. We’ve known each other from way way way back, so when we met up we decided to make a song to honor the late artist MohBad. His death really hit a lot of us in the game, so it was nice doing this with Zlatan for his tribute.

AllHipHop: Let’s talk about getting that call to perform with Akon in Los Angeles for a pre-Grammys party.

Blaqbonez: Yeah man I just got a call and they said Akon wanted to bring me out for a grammys tribute concert. After my mouth dropped, I said “say less I am there!” It was exciting when I got that call, because I was shocked Akon knew who I was. Akon personally wanting me to perform with him is one of the highlight moments for me this year. I am excited about it and can’t wait for you all to see it.

AllHipHop: What’s you guys’ relationship like?

Blaqbonez: Me and Akon? He’s f#### with what I’m doing and the music I am making. I love that. I always looked up to him growing up, so now that I get to actually work with him I am thrilled and blessed. I can’t wait for everyone to see the GRAMMY Salute To 50 Years Of Hip-Hop” Live Concert Special.

AllHipHop: How’d you end up working with Ludacris?

Blaqbonez: I do sessions with other artists so much. It always happens so easily and organically. With Luda, his team reached out to my team that Ludacris would love to make an Afrobeat song with me. From there, they flew me out to Ghana where he was doing a session camp. That’s where we made “Cinderella Girl.” Having him do a verse for that song was everything!

AllHipHop: 3 things you need in the studio at all times?

Blaqbonez: My phone, weed, and a drink…usually it’s water. Those are my essentials in the studio.

AllHipHop: Best encounter you have with a fan?

Blaqbonez: There’s so many. I love my fans and every time I meet them it is an exciting moment. I really make sure to give them that time, because they are the ones really pushing me to continue this.

AllHipHop: What do you like to do when you’re not working?

Blaqbonez: Right now, I’m trying to figure that out, because I am always working and I love working. However, when I am not working, I like to Netflix and chill. I also love gaming with friends. I rarely go out unless I have to.

AllHipHop: Anything else you’re excited for?

Blaqbonez: So many exciting things are coming up. My team and I are trying to set up a tour to continue pushing the album. I am working on a few more collaborations and features that will come out next year. I’m really just enjoying this ride. I am grateful for my team, my fans, and that this album is finally out. I really hope the world enjoys it.

AllHipHop: Goals yourself as an artist at this point of your career?

Blaqbonez: My goal right now is to have a song in the Billboard Hot 100. That’d be nice. Long term goal is to get a Grammy since they finally created an Afrobeats category. I cannot wait to see what’s to come.

Suge Knight Lashes Out At Snoop Dogg Following Podcast Allegations

Suge Knight has targeted Snoop Dogg online on social media following the Long Beach rapper’s response to his recent allegations against several Hip-Hop industry moguls.

On Wednesday (February 7), Knight initiated a rampage on Twitter (X) focused on Snoop after it appears he undermined the claims the former Death Row Records boss made on his podcast. During the most recent episode of Collect Call With Suge Knight, which arrived on February 5, Knight claimed Diddy‘s former Uptown Records boss, the late Andre Harrell, was involved in a secret affair with Russell Simmons. In a comment on an Instagram post, Snoop wrote, “SMH I’m praying for that brother he finds peace.”

Knight caught wind of the comment and it appeared to set him off on a rant in which he accused Snoop of lying, being a fake Crip and more.

”Show the agreement or proof of payment and I’ll shut up!!! Bet you can’t!!! #Deathrow #snoopdogg,” Knight wrote in the initial tweet.

In another follow-up tweet, Knight reposted a clip of what appeared to be a comedy skit for social media, further pressing Snoop in his retort.

”If you only could act like this when the camera rolling Snoop Dogg!!! #snoopdogg #underdogg #fakecrip,” Knight tweeted.

With one final swipe, Knight attempted to go for Snoop’s jugular by accusing his wife of infidelity.

“You pray for me Snoop Dogg!!! Okay I’ll pray your wife stop going to Hawaii with other men!!!! #snoopdog #bosslady,” Knight wrote.

Knight’s podcast landed him in hot-water last December after the inaugural episode put Akon in the incarcerated former executives crosshairs over rape allegations the Konvict singer threatened legal action over.

Ginuwine Really Used To Beat Down NBA Hoopers & Concertgoers In Early 2000s?

Former NBA player Gilbert Arenas is apparently hyperaware of Ginuwine’s résumé when it comes to physical altercations. According to Arenas, the R&B singer is nearly as talented with his hands as he is with his voice.

Mandatory pause after that sentence.

Arenas made the claim during a recent episode of his podcast, Gil’s Arena. Apparently, the “Pony” vocalist punched out a former hooper after apparently being disrespected.

”I did see an NBA player get two-pieced in the club by Ginuwine,” Gil said in part.

Gil claimed Ginuwine came to blows with a player after he allegedly refused the accept the bottle service sent to him, while also insulting Ginuwine in a homophobic fashion. While it may seem hard to believe, a random user in the comment appeared to confirm Ginuwine’s reputation as a bruiser in real life. Apparently, one man’s uncle was also on the receiving end of a beatdown from Ginuwine and his crew after the singer apparently tried to take unc’s woman back in 1999 at a concert.

Jam Master Jay Murder Trial: Two New Inmate Witnesses Being “Forced” To Testify

Karl Jordan Jr. and Ronald Washington, two of the men accused of killing Jam Master Jay in 2002, are currently being tried for first-degree murder. As the trial continues, more witnesses are being called to testify. In new court documents obtained by AllHipHop, an inmate named Yusuf Abdur-Rahman is being asked by United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York Breon Peace and Assistant United States Attorney Miranda Gonzalez to take the stand.

“The Court finds that the Application is made in good faith and that there is a reasonable belief that the requested relief is necessary to secure the appearance of YUSUF ABDUR-RAHMAN for any future court appearances in connection with the above-referenced matter,” the docs read. “It is, therefore, ORDERED, pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1651, that the Bureau of Prisons, with 3 Case 1:20-cr-00305-LDH Document 249 Filed 02/07/24 Page 1 of 2 PageID #: 1970assistance as necessary from the United States Marshals Service, or any federal officer, shall use any appropriate force to secure the appearance of YUSUF ABDUR-RAHMAN to appear for any court appearance in connection with the above-referenced matter.”

It’s signed with Wednesday’s date (February 7) by Honorable Lashann Dearcy Hall. Another inmate who happens to be Jordan’s son, Tashawn Burns, is also being requested to testify.

The Jam Master Jay murder trial began in January. Uriel Rincon, an eyewitness who was wounded in the 2002 shooting, identified Jordan as the gunman. Rincon said Washington stood by the door and ordered another witness to get on the ground during the attack. Jordan and Washington pleaded not guilty to murder charges. They face at least 20 years in prison if convicted.

A third man, Jay Bryant, was also charged for his alleged role in the murder. He will be tried separately.

CBD’s Role in Musical Creativity and Performance

CBD, short for Cannabidiol, has gained significant attention for its potential health benefits. While many are familiar with its pain-relieving and anxiety-reducing properties, it’s worth noting that some studies suggest it may also have a potential role in enhancing musical creativity and performance. As a musician, you might be intrigued by the potential ways in which CBD Capsules could benefit you. In the following comprehensive guide, we’ll delve into the multifaceted role of CBD in musical creativity and performance, exploring its diverse benefits and offering valuable insights into its integration into your daily routine for an enhanced musical experience.

Relieves Performance Anxiety

Performance anxiety is a prevalent challenge for numerous musicians, frequently resulting in stage fright and nervousness, which can substantially hinder their ability to perform at their best. However, CBD is a valuable tool in addressing performance anxiety by promoting a sense of calm, reducing stress levels, and helping individuals feel more centered and grounded. By incorporating CBD oil into their pre-performance routines, musicians can enhance their ability to manage composure and focus, ultimately enabling them to deliver stellar performances with heightened confidence and ease, leading to a more enriching experience for the musicians and their audience.

Improves Focus and Concentration

As a musician, maintaining a focused and clear mind is crucial for productive practice sessions and captivating performances. CBD, a compound derived from the cannabis plant, interacts with the endocannabinoid system in our body. Research has shown that it can promote a state of relaxation by influencing the release of neurotransmitters, which in turn can contribute to improved focus and concentration. This enhanced mental state ultimately leads to an enriched and more immersive musical experience for the performer and the audience. By creating a sense of calm and reducing anxiety, CBD can also help musicians overcome performance jitters and stage fright, allowing them to express themselves more freely and authentically. Additionally, the potential anti-inflammatory properties of CBD may aid in alleviating any physical tension or discomfort, further enhancing the overall musical performance.

Increases Creativity

Many musicians believe that CBD, a non-psychoactive compound found in cannabis, can help in increasing their creativity. By reducing anxiety and stress levels, CBD is thought to unlock a musician’s creative potential, allowing them to think outside the box and explore new musical dimensions. Additionally, the potential ability of CBD to improve focus and concentration may lead to more productive and immersive practice sessions, ultimately enhancing creativity during performances. Musicians also report that CBD can help promote a state of relaxation, which in turn can inspire innovative musical ideas and promote a more open mindset for experimentation and improvisation. Furthermore, some musicians find that CBD can positively impact their overall well-being, fostering a sense of balance and harmony that can be reflected in their music.

Reduces Pain and Inflammation

Musicians devote countless hours to practicing and performing, often leading to physical strain. This can manifest as muscle tension, stiffness, and fatigue, impacting their ability to perform at their best. Many musicians have turned to CBD to alleviate the toll on their bodies, known for its natural anti-inflammatory properties that can effectively reduce pain and inflammation. By incorporating CBD into their wellness routine, musicians can experience relief from conditions like joint pain or tendinitis, providing them with much-needed support to continue pursuing their passion for music. Additionally, CBD has been reported to help improve sleep quality, reduce anxiety, and aid in overall stress management, further contributing to musicians’ well-being and performance.

Better Sleep Quality

Quality sleep is crucial for musicians to excel in their performances. Establishing a healthy sleep routine that allows for ample rest and rejuvenation is paramount. Research suggests that CBD may offer potential benefits for sleep, as it has been shown to promote relaxation, reduce stress and anxiety levels, and contribute to better overall sleep quality. By incorporating high-quality CBD oil into their bedtime routine, musicians may experience improved sleep, enhancing performance and creativity on stage. This improved sleep quality could potentially result in a positive impact on their overall well-being and musical output.

Conclusion

CBD has the potential to revolutionize the way musicians approach their craft. CBD presents various advantages that can elevate musicians’ abilities to new heights by alleviating performance anxiety, reducing stress, and enhancing focus and concentration. Moreover, its potential to aid in managing pain and promoting relaxation can contribute to overall well-being, essential for sustained creativity and musical excellence. Nevertheless, it is crucial to seek advice from a healthcare professional before integrating CBD into your daily routine, particularly if you are currently taking medication or managing underlying health conditions. With a cautious and informed approach, CBD can significantly enhance your musical journey and propel you toward unprecedented levels of success.

Mo’Nique Drags Tiffany Haddish Through Mud For Comments About Husband

Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast emerged as an outlet for comedians to air their grievances. A month after Katt Williams’ viral appearance on the show, Mo’Nique took shots at Tiffany Haddish in an interview with Sharpe on Wednesday (February 7).

Mo’Nique brought up Haddish’s past legal issues, which included DUIs and a child sexual abuse lawsuit, in response to remarks from 2018. Mo’Nique defended her husband while bashing Haddish.

“I remember our beautiful sister Tiffany Haddish did an interview with GQ magazine,” Mo’Nique said. “And this, in my humble opinion, is where we keep throwing each other under the bus. You’re doing an interview with GQ magazine – and I’m assuming the journalist was a white person – and the conversation turned to Mo’Nique. And she said, ‘Well, I don’t do business like Mo’Nique do business. And I’m glad I don’t have that husband of hers.’ And when I saw that it’s like Tiffany, if you had a husband like mine, you may not have two DUIs.”

She continued, “If you had a husband like mine, you may not be caught up in what looks like you could’ve been grooming a child. And I say all of that with no judgment. But when you speak about having a husband like mine, you open up the door. And I’m saying to you, if you had one like mine, you may not sit in these positions that you can’t explain the next day.”

Haddish mentioned Mo’Nique’s husband while discussing Netflix in a 2018 interview with GQ. Haddish dismissed Mo’Nique’s call to boycott the streaming service.

“My business run different than her business,” Haddish said. “I don’t live her life. I don’t have that husband of hers. I’m looking at how [Netflix has] opened up so many opportunities for Black females and comedy. When my people are dying, that’s when you gonna catch me protesting. I’m not gonna protest because somebody got offered not the amount of money they wanted to get offered. If you don’t like what they’re offering you, just no longer do business with them.”

Haddish wasn’t the only celebrity to face Mo’Nique’s wrath in the chat with Sharpe. Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey were among the notable names spoken of in the Club Shay Shay interview.

Bill Maher Calls Kanye West A “Very Charming Antisemite” And Things Immediately Fall Down

Bill Maher and Kanye West? Let us go in, but approaching with caution. Maher had Kanye on his podcast “Club Random With Bill Maher” for a two hour conversation. But guess what? That episode is never seeing the light of day. Maher pulled the plug on airing it, but I am not sure why he did it to begin with.

Maher talked to TMZ and called t he rapper a “very charming antisemite” — WHAT? So, he’s just now realizing that? I think Kanye West got played. Maher maintains he does not want to offer any sort of platform for Yeezus to spread his disturbing views. Kanye’s done the most for the longest, including some unsettling, odd praise for Hitler. He told Alex Jones, “I like Hitler”! And he’s said more in the past.

Verbally, Maher made it clear he’s not about to let his platform be used for spreading what he called the “fertilizer.” HUH? Ineed to talk to him, because he knew what Kanye was all about. Kanye has apologized to the Jewish community, but right after he wore a t-shirt of a notorious Nordic racist and antisemite.

Kanye West Wears Shirt Of Church-Burning, Neo-Nazi, Death Metal Rock Act Burzum

Maher is getting a lot of credit for doing something that should have never been an option to me. Anyway, God bless. Hate speech and antisemitism is not something anybody should take lightly, but…yeah…let me stop. By the way, Kanye is having trouble finding places to perform his looming tour. I wonder why.

From Blunts to Balm: Hip-Hop’s Evolution with Vape Pen

The relationship between hip-hop and smoking has always been intertwined. Across generations, hip-hop artists have often used smoking to showcase their street credibility or promote their brand. But with the advent of vaping, the relationship between hip-hop and smoking has changed. In this blog post, we’ll explore the evolution of hip-hop’s relationship with tobacco, from blunts to balm, and the growing influence of vaping in this genre.

The era of blunts

Blunts, which are cigar wraps filled with weed, emerged as a popular choice among hip-hop artists, particularly in the vibrant era of the ’90s. These tightly rolled creations not only served as a means of indulging in a smoking experience but also became a striking symbol of street culture. It was expected to see influential figures in the hip-hop scene, such as Snoop Dogg, Cypress Hill, and Notorious B.I.G, gracefully holding a cigar between their fingers, effortlessly blending the worlds of music and smoking. The act of smoking itself became intertwined with hip-hop culture, with artists often incorporating references to the smoking lifestyle in their lyrics and visuals, further solidifying its significance in the art form.

The transition to bongs

In the early 2000s, a significant transformation occurred in hip-hop culture as bongs emerged as the preferred smoking tool. This shift was not only evident in the lyrics of rap songs but also in the lifestyle choices of influential artists like Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, and Kid Cudi, who openly embraced and celebrated the use of bongs. These artists became known as bong enthusiasts, promoting a new wave of appreciation for this smoking apparatus.

The appeal of bongs over traditional smoking methods, such as blunts and joints, lies in the enhanced smoking experience they offer. With their water filtration system, bongs deliver cooler and smoother smoke, reducing the harshness often associated with other methods. This not only provides a more pleasant smoking experience but also allows for a deeper inhalation, resulting in a more intense high.

The rise of dabbing

With the legalization of marijuana in several states, a new smoking trend emerged – dabbing. Dabbing, a method of consuming cannabis, involves inhaling vaporized concentrates. This is typically done through a small handheld vaporizer called a dab rig. Dabbing gained popularity alongside the rise of trap music, with artists like Future, Migos, and Young Thug often referencing it in their lyrics. Dab pens, which are discreet and user-friendly, also became popular among enthusiasts. As the trend grew, dabbing culture expanded, with enthusiasts exploring different concentrates, experimenting with various techniques, and even attending dabbing events and competitions.

The growing influence of vaping

In recent years, vaping has emerged as a new trend among hip-hop artists, captivating the attention of both fans and industry insiders. With its rise in popularity, vaping has become the new symbol of coolness, replacing traditional smoking as the preferred choice of trendsetters. Renowned artists like 21 Savage, Travis Scott, and Post Malone have embraced the vaping culture, often seen effortlessly flaunting their sleek vape pens in music videos and public appearances.

Not only is vaping considered trendy but This phrase could be humanized as: “It’s also praised for the health benefits people believe it offers. As more and more people seek healthier alternatives to smoking, vaping has gained traction as a preferred option. With the rise of cannabis-related products and the increasing acceptance of marijuana, hip-hop artists have found a unique platform to showcase their own branded vape products. This fusion of music, culture, and entrepreneurship has created fresh opportunities for artists to engage with their fans and promote their brand of cannabis-related products, further fueling the vaping phenomenon within the hip-hop community.

Vaping beyond smoking

Hip-hop’s relationship with vaping goes far beyond just smoking. It has become a significant influence not only in the music industry but also in the beauty industry. Vaping has made its way into the world of cosmetics, with cannabis-infused balms, oils, and lotions gaining tremendous popularity. Renowned rappers like Cardi B and Rihanna have taken advantage of this trend and even launched their line of cannabis-based beauty products. By incorporating the trend of vaping into their brand, they have showcased their entrepreneurial spirit and tapped into a growing market that merges the worlds of music, beauty, and cannabis culture. Additionally, products like the THC Pen from TRĒ House exemplify how vaping technology continues to intertwine with various aspects of contemporary culture, including hip-hop’s influence on consumer preferences and lifestyle choices.

Conclusion

The relationship between hip-hop and smoking has always been intriguing and ever-evolving. Throughout the years, hip-hop culture has seamlessly adapted to the shifting trends in smoking practices. From the classic blunts to the rise of balm, the influence of smoking on hip-hop has been undeniable.

However, with the growing popularity of vaping, a new chapter has emerged. Hip-hop artists are now embracing and promoting a healthier approach to smoking through the use of vape pens and cannabis-infused beauty products. This shift highlights hip-hop culture’s adaptability and reflects a conscious effort to prioritize well-being.

NBA YoungBoy Claims His Gun Charges Are Unconstitutional Ahead Of Trial

NBA YoungBoy’s attorneys filed a motion to dismiss his federal gun charges on February 2. According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, his lawyers argued the charges were unconstitutional.

The Motown Records artist, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, was indicted for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and unlawful possession of an unregistered firearm in 2021. NBA YoungBoy’s lawyers claimed the charges, which stemmed from his 2020 arrest in Baton Rouge, violated his Second Amendment rights.

“The government has not alleged that Mr. Gaulden was observed to be holding a firearm by any law enforcement officer (or any other witness), nor have any allegations been made that Mr. Gaulden was using a firearm in any unlawful way at the time of his alleged offense,” NBA YoungBoy’s legal team wrote. “Rather, the government merely alleges that music video footage shows Mr. Gaulden possessing a firearm after being convicted of a felony and for possessing a firearm which is not registered in the national firearms registration and transfer record.”

They continued, “The government does not allege that Mr. Gaulden was posing a threat to anyone and cannot even allege that the suspected firearms observed in the video were functional or loaded when the video was recorded. This prosecution seeks to restrict and deny Mr. Gaulden’s Second Amendment right to possess a firearm based solely on his status [as] a felon and his alleged failure to comply with bureaucratic regulations requiring the registration of firearms into a national database.”

NBA YoungBoy’s lawyers said his alleged possession of a firearm in a public area was protected by the Second Amendment. They disputed the legality of banning convicted felons from possessing guns.

“Scholars and courts alike have previously recognized the lack of a clear historical continuity between the firearm laws in effect when the Second Amendment was ratified and the modern lifetime ban on possessing firearms for anyone convicted of a crime punishable by imprisonment for term exceeding one year which is currently in effect,” the attorneys wrote. “The Fifth Circuit has acknowledged that ‘the federal felony firearm possession ban bears little resemblance to laws in effect at the time the Second Amendment was ratified, as it was not enacted until 1938, was not expanded to cover non-violent felonies until 1961 and was not re-focused from receipt to possession until 1968’ … In other words, the blanket lifetime ban on the possession of firearms by every individual convicted of a crime for which they could have been sentenced to a term exceeding one year did not exist until 1968.”

The lawyers pushed back against felony-based disarmament. They contended the government “cannot provide the historical analogues to show that felony disarmament comports” with the tradition of firearm regulation in the U.S.

NBA YoungBoy remains on house arrest awaiting trial in his federal gun case. The 24-year-old rapper’s trial is scheduled to begin in July if Judge Shelly Dick rejects his request to dismiss the charges.
