Megan Thee Stallion Posts Eye-Popping Photo To Shut Up Pardison Fontaine’s Liposuction Claims

Megan Thee Stallion has clearly struck back at her ex-boyfriend Pardison Fontaine and his claim that she had liposuction to create her physique. Cracks in their relationship became public with Megan’s song “Cobra,” where she seemingly accused Fontaine of cheating.

The couple’s three-year love affair seemingly crumbled when Pardi retorted in “THEE PERSON,” alleging Megan Thee Stallion’s fitness images weren’t the result of hard work but the result of liposuction, amongst other insults.

Megan Thee Stallion’s gym photo, which showcases the “Hot Girl’s Coach’s” toned figure to her 31 million followers, is a visual rebuttal to Paridson Fontaine’s allegations.

Fans have rallied around Megan Thee Stallion, seeing the photo as evidence of her genuine efforts and dedication to fitness, contrary to Pardi Fontaine’s accusations.

“Looks like hard work and good genes to me! Tuh!! Keep killing em,” Claudi Jordan wrote.

“You can tell that is hard work because everything is smaller and Toned! her arms, her back, her thighs, her legs, Lipo cant do all of that,” another one of the Hotties wrote.

“He said lipo then started posting gym pics. Tell Pardi you was in the gym before he even got in the picture. HOTTIE BOOT CAMP! Hot girl coach?” another one of Megan’s fans fumed.

“As a registered nurse who has worked in the operating room i know a post op lipo body when i see one .. and this ain’t one,” reasoned another one of Megan’s fans.

So far, Megan Thee Stallion hasn’t responded to Pardi Fontaine’s diss track, which will be featured on his upcoming release Ex T8pe. The project is scheduled for release on December 12. Until then, listen to “THEE PERSON” below.

Redefining Rhythms: The Evolution of Contemporary Hip-Hop and Its Impact on Cultural Narratives

Let’s talk about hip-hop, a music genre that emerged in the United States in the 1970s. Notable for its distinct features, hip-hop is marked by an emphasis on rhythm and bass, alongside the incorporation of sampled sounds, beats, and rap.

1970s: Where It All Began

Hip-hop started in the Bronx, NYC, in the early 1970s. It began when the city was facing problems like factories closing down, political issues, and big changes in how money worked. At that time, things were tough in New York City. Many businesses shut down, people lost jobs, and there wasn’t much fun stuff to do. So, young people in the city turned to the streets to find a way to express themselves.

Empty buildings and parking lots became the places where hip-hop took its first steps. People threw block parties there, creating the foundation for hip-hop culture. DJs and MCs, who got inspired by Jamaican music, brought their music to the streets using mobile “Sound Systems.” Cardboard pieces turned into dance floors for break dancers, and walls became canvases for graffiti artists.

Even though there was a lot of anger and tough times, hip-hop brought a new energy. It became a way for people to be creative and deal with problems like violence. Instead of being held back by tough situations and differences between races, hip-hop turned those challenges into a way for people to connect and express themselves as a community. It wasn’t just a response to problems; it became a powerful force for bringing people together and expressing resilience in tough times.

1985-1995: The Golden Era of Hip-Hop

This period marked a global embrace of hip-hop tracks, introducing iconic musical legends like:

  • Tupac Shakur
  • Snoop Dogg
  • The Notorious B.I.G.
  • Public Enemy

The latter half of the 1980s and the early 1990s saw an unprecedented rise in admiration for hip-hop, captivating audiences worldwide and solidifying the genre’s influence on the musical landscape.

1995-2000: The Commercialization of Hip-Hop

This era marked the emergence of Nelly, Timbaland, Puff Daddy, Jay-Z, and Eminem.

In 1995, the Grammys introduced a new award for the best rap album. Naughty by Nature clinched the inaugural win. Subsequently, the Fugees, Puff Daddy, and Jay-Z joined the roster of winners before the decade concluded.

As the new millennium dawned, hip-hop asserted its dominance on global music charts, with artists exploring fresh sub-genres and pushing the boundaries of their tracks even further.

2005 – Present: Contemporary Hip-Hop

In the present day, hip-hop has undergone yet another metamorphosis, making it almost unrecognizable compared to its origins in the seventies. Figures such as Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Cardi B, and 21 Savage stand out as prominent artists within the contemporary hip-hop scene:

ArtistNotable AchievementsSignature Style
Kendrick LamarPulitzer Prize for Music (2018), 17 Grammy AwardsThought-provoking lyrics, jazz-influenced production
Travis ScottBillboard Music Award (Top Streaming Songs Artist, 2019), 8 Grammy AwardsAtmospheric production, auto-tuned vocals
Cardi BGrammy Award for Best Rap Album (2019), first lead artist to top the Billboard Global 200Confident delivery, trap-influenced beats
21 SavageGrammy Award for Best Rap Song (2020)Gritty narratives, distinctive British-American flow

Impact of Hip-Hop on Cultural Narratives

Hip-hop has had a significant impact on culture. Today, its influence can be seen in fashion, politics, language, sports, and even gaming.

Hip-hop has had some influence on casino culture. Some Canadian online casino sites have adopted hip-hop themes in their overall branding and design. This includes using hip-hop-inspired graphics, imagery, and colour schemes to create a vibrant and engaging gaming environment. These themes appeal to a younger and more diverse demographic.

The fashion landscape, in particular, has been reshaped by hip-hop, with staples like oversized shirts, baggy pants, and athletic wear getting into mainstream fashion. Also, the influence of hip-hop on fashion extends beyond streetwear to sports apparel. Some athletes and teams embrace the style and ethos of the genre – the AS Roma kit, for example, has captured the imagination of football fans worldwide.

Besides fashion, hip-hop has introduced a lexicon that has become ingrained in everyday language. Terms like “bling” and “yo” have become commonplace expressions.

Hip-hop has also played a pivotal role in addressing social and political issues. Notable artists like Jay-Z and Kanye West use their platforms to voice opinions on political matters and, in some instances, even engage in political endeavours themselves.

Complexities and Controversies

Hip-hop has undeniably become a global phenomenon with a profound impact on society. Beyond its rhythmic beats and poetic lyrics, hip-hop has been a powerful force shaping cultural norms, politics, and the socio-economic landscape. However, its influence is not without complexities and controversies:

AspectDescription
Cultural expressionHip-hop serves as a platform for marginalized voices, but debates arise over the potential reinforcement of stereotypes and the appropriation of culture.
Social activismWhile hip-hop has been a catalyst for social change, questions arise about the sincerity of activism within the industry and its impact on systemic issues.
ConsumerismThe promotion of materialism in hip-hop lyrics and imagery raises concerns about its role in perpetuating consumerist values and influencing youth culture.
Violence and lyricsControversies surround the portrayal of violence in hip-hop lyrics, with discussions on whether it reflects reality, perpetuates harm, or serves as a form of artistic expression.
Gender dynamicsThe genre grapples with gender inequalities, prompting discussions on the objectification of women, toxic masculinity, and the need for more diverse representation.

Final Thoughts

The journey of hip-hop music spans a remarkable and multifaceted history, captivating audiences for over five decades. From its humble beginnings to its current prominence, the genre has evolved, leaving an indelible mark on cultural narratives worldwide. As we reflect on its dynamic trajectory, it becomes evident that hip-hop’s enduring strength lies in its ability to adapt, innovate, and speak to the ever-changing socio-cultural landscape.

The resilience of this musical form is mirrored in the unwavering passion of both artists and audiences. As we celebrate its rich heritage, it’s clear that hip-hop is not just a genre but a cultural force that continues to shape and redefine itself. The exploration of resonant thematic inspirations remains a driving force, ensuring that the future of hip-hop holds promise for even more groundbreaking expressions.

André 3000 Flute Album Gets Dem Jointz Remix Treatment—Now Snoop Dogg Wants A Piece

André 3000 released an entirely instrumental album called New Blue Sun on Friday (November 17), which sent social media into a spiral. Some were elated Three Stacks was on this new creative journey, while others were highly disappointed not to hear a single bar come out of his mouth. Producers, however, saw the silver lining. Aftermath Entertainment affiliate Dem Jointz was one of them.

On Monday (November 20), he shared a pair of videos to Instagram showing off his beatmaking skills using André 3000’s woodwind sounds. He plucked samples from “I swear, I Really Wanted To Make A Rap Album, but This Is Literally Where The Wind Blew Me This Time” and “The Slang Word P(*)ssy Rolls Off The Tongue with Far Better Ease Than The Proper Word V#####. Would You Agree?” He added in the caption, “A or B? I had to do it.”

Snoop Dogg was among the first to jump in the comment section and write, “Send me this beat asap.” Fellow producers DJ Pooh and Statik Selektah also tossed in their two cents. Several fans encouraged Dem Jointz to get Snoop Dogg and Three Stacks on the beats.

Pete Rock also praised André 3000’s latest endeavor. As he wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post, “Now im a producer, and what i hear on this album is amazing. Some of y’all ears been lost but as a producer what i hear? Sounds INCREDIBLE!!! Sometimes embracing a different side of a person isn’t a bad thing. In this business when you been doing the same thing forever you can get tired of it and wanna go left, nothing wrong with that. We all need that support sometimes.

“We had jazz musicians put albums out like this, why not except when 3 stacks do it? I mean i hear amazing samples on this album. BEATS!!! I listen to his last raps on that kanye joint all the time. One of the souths greatest MC’s. But i copped this album and im listening to it and you know what? I like it do far. Congratulations on this new journey and i believe real musicians will like this.”

But Outkast fans like Leslie Jones were outraged. During an episode of The Daily Show, upon learning André wouldn’t be rapping on his debut solo project.

Co-host Jordan Klepper began the segment saying, “You know, this is a beautiful, fascinating experiment in—” Jones screamed, “No! No it’s not!” She continued, “I’ve got to say something. This man is one of the greatest rappers of all time. We have been waiting 17 years for this m########### to release a new album. And it’s all flute? I’m going to kill somebody. This is how you know white people are winning. Y’all done turned André 3000 into Jethro Tull!”

Klepper disagreed, calling it a “brave” move by André 3000. Jones fired back, “Yeah it’s brave. ‘Cause if you play that s### in the hood, you gon’ get your a## beat!”

Lauryn Hill Cancels Remaining Dates On “Miseducation” Tour

Lauryn Hill has canceled the remaining dates on the 25th anniversary tour of her only solo album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. Hill made the announcement via Instagram on Tuesday night (November 21), blaming the cancelations on her strained vocal cords. She also talked about how rewarding it’s been to reunite with her fellow Fugees, Pras and Wyclef Jean.

“I’d like to start this off by saying how much I’ve enjoyed being on the road, and how much I appreciate all of the fans who have come out to celebrate this incredible milestone anniversary and history making reunion with us,” she wrote in the caption. “Being able to tour this album to sold out crowds after 25 years has been an emotional experience! I’ve loved sharing the stage again with Wyclef and Pras. The Return of the Fugees has been powerful and amazing—those who’ve witnessed it can testify.

The tour itself reminds us the artists, and the audiences alike of earlier, perhaps less complicated times when ‘It could all be so simple…’ or ‘Ready Or Not, here I come!’ were on repeat on the airwaves. Simply put, classic. Classic music, classic performances with audiences who love those classics has been nothing but…wait for it…EPIC. (I almost said classic again!) As many of you may know, I’ve been battling serious vocal strain for the past month. I made it through each show by taking prescribed prednisone, but this can be detrimental to the body when taken in large amounts over long periods of time. In order to prevent any long term negative affect on my voice and my body, I need to take time off to allow for real vocal recovery so that I can discontinue the medication completely.”

Lauryn Hill did say she would still perform in Philly over the weekend, noting it was close to New Jersey and “basically hometown.” But that will be the final show in 2023. Hill said she has plans to reschedule the canceled dates early next year. She also promised to ad more dates due to “overwhelming demand.”

Hill performed in Los Angeles on November 4 and showed up a bit late but wasn’t afraid to address her tardiness. In a clip making the rounds online, Hill spoke passionately about why her fans should be grateful she shows up at all.

“I hear, ‘She’s late. She’s late a lot,’” she said. “Yo, you’re lucky I make it on this stage every night. I don’t do it because they let me. I do it because I stand here in the name of God. God is the one who allows me to do it, who surrounded me with family and community when there was no support, when the album sold so many records and nobody showed up and said, ‘Hey, would you like to make another one?’ So I went around the world and played the same album over and over and over and over again. Because we’re survivors. We’re not just the survivors, we’re the thrivers.”

Hill’s comments didn’t sit well with many of her fans, and she eventually addressed the chatter, posting the entire speech she gave prior to the “tardiness” remarks. She wrote in the caption, “Context is key.” Watch it below.

Diddy Rape & Physical Abuse Lawsuit Continues To Have Consequences—At His Own Companies

Although the immediate shock has worn off by now, Cassie Ventura’s bombshell lawsuit against Diddy continues to have consequences. In court docs filed in a Manhattan federal court on November 16, Diddy’s ex alleged rape and years of physical abuse at the hands of the Bad Boy Records mogul, and the former couple settled out of court less than 24 hours later. Much like DaBaby’s fallout from his homophobic comments at Rolling Loud Miami in 2021, companies are beginning to distance themselves from Diddy—even his own.

Shortly after the suit was settled, Atlanta’s Agenda Studios canceled an event promoting Diddy’s tequila brand, DELEÓN. As the company explained on Instagram, “It is with a heavy heart that we announce the unfortunate cancellation of Sunday’s highly anticipated DELEÓN Day Party. Recent, serious allegations against DELEÓN Tequila owner, Sean “Puff” Combs,” have compelled us to take immediate action. In light of these circumstances, we believe it is in the best interest of our community to regrettably cancel the event. We understand the disappointment this may bring, but we remain committed to the values of integrity and accountability.”

The caption read: “Important Announcement. Due to recent allegations against Deleon owner Sean “Puff” Combs, we regret to inform you that Sunday’s Deleon Day Party is canceled, but stay tuned for an exciting update on Tuesday, November 21st – we’re working on something special for our community.”

Diddy is also starting to feel the wrath at REVOLT, a company he founded in 2012. On Monday (November 20), journalist/marketing specialist Dawn Montgomery announced she would no longer be part of the network’s Monuments to Me podcast.

“FYI: I won’t be signing on to do the 3rd season of @revolttv’s Monuments To Me podcast,” she tweeted on Monday (November 20). “I am a [sexual assault] survivor & I cannot be a part of a show that’s supposed to uplift black women while @Diddy leads the company. Believe Black women.”

Only time will tell what other consequences Diddy will face. Fans were shocked Ventura settled so quickly. But as she explained at the time, “I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control.” Diddy responded to the now-closed case, saying, “We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love.”

Diddy was spotted in the days after they reached their settlement looking solemn and stressed, but many are accusing them of being staged.

Did Lil Durk React To Being Left Off Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign’s “Vultures” Single?

A new collaboration by Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign made its way to the internet this week. Many rap fans expected to hear Lil Durk on “Vultures” which does feature fellow Chicago native Bump J.

Apparently, Lil Durk did appear on the track when it first premiered on the Power 92 radio station last week. However, the streaming service version of “Vultures” that arrived on November 21 omitted Durkio’s alleged verse.

As of press time, neither Kanye West nor Ty Dolla $ign offered an explanation for the apparent change to the song. Some of Durk’s social media followers believe the Almost Healed album creator may have addressed the situation though.

“Be lucky, I’m humble, look at it as your blessing,” read a message on Lil Durk’s Instagram Story. While the 31-year-old rapper did not directly mention “Vultures,” the November 21 post sparked speculation that it was a response to the online conversation about the record.

Lil Durk also shared another Instagram Story. That post centered around a photo of the Islamic holy book the Qur’an. The caption of his second Instagram Story simply read, “Been back to myself no distractions.”

Almost Healed hit DSPs on May 26, 2023. Lil Durk’s eighth studio LP debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart with 125,000 first-week units. The project hosted the Top 5 single “All My Life” featuring J. Cole.

Kanye West has not released a full-length project since facing widespread backlash for making anti-semitic comments in 2022. His Donda album dropped in August 2021 with Donda 2 arriving the following February.

Both Kanye West and Lil Durk contributed to 2022’s “Hot S###” by Cardi B. Additionally, Durk did make it onto several songs with Ty Dolla $ign. For example, “My Friends” came out in October 2022.

The two performers have other collaborations together – like “Breather” and “Double R” – as well. Ty Dolla $ign’s album discography contains the Featuring Ty Dolla Sign studio LP from 2020.

This year saw Ice Spice score multiple Top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. As a result, Billboard has named Ice Spice as the outlet’s 2023 R&B/Hip-Hop Rookie Of The Year.

Ice Spice started 2023 by linking up with British singer PinkPantheress for the “Boy’s a Liar Pt. 2” collaboration, which peaked at No. 3 on the Hot 100.

Ice Spice also connected with rap superstar Nicki Minaj for two songs this year. Both “Princess Diana” (No. 4) and “Barbie World” (No. 7) made it into the Hot 100’s Top 10.

NBA YoungBoy Says Music Business Is “A Demonic Industry”

NBA YoungBoy is currently on house arrest in Utah, but he Baton Rouge-bred rapper continues to release music as he serves out his sentence.

You gotta understand, they’re using me as entertainment and this s### becomes self-destruction too. ‘Cause I ain’t an entertainer. You know, some s### can’t be spoken on. Why? Man, ’cause that s###, it’s to be continued.”

Earlier this year, Top Dawg Entertainment president Terrence “Punch” Henderson also addressed the so-called dark side of showbiz. Punch tweeted, “The demonic influence is getting more and more blatant in this thing. The gradualism was numbing, now it’s just out loud.”

Fetty Wap Reveals He Returned To Drug Dealing After Fans Stopped Listening To His Music

Fetty Wap has opened up about what led to his incarceration following a 2021 drug trafficking arrest.

Earlier this year, the “Trap Queen” hitmaker was sentenced to six years in federal prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to distribute cocaine. In a candid interview with XXL, Fetty Wap revealed he turned to selling drugs when fans stopped paying attention to his music.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CzonogvRTPr/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

The father-of-six revealed he was paying out $150,000 in bills while music sales were drying up. Despite his dwindling finances, Fetty Wap still had to look after his family and those around him. Under those circumstances, he returned to “what I know how to do” and began running drugs.

Nonetheless, Fetty Wap only blames himself for his current predicament, taking full accountability for his actions.

“Nobody made me do it,” he explained to the publication. “Nobody forced me to do it, you know what I’m sayin’? When I put myself in that situation, I ain’t really think for the long run.”

According to Fetty Wap, he had hoped to “run up a few million dollars,” to set him up for life. “I ain’t never had no financial guidance, and like a person to really guide me the right way. It was just like everybody just didn’t care. As long as they got they money, they just didn’t give a f###, you know what I’m sayin’?”

He added, “When I wanted to start doing s###, this is what I know how to do,” before admitting music sales had dipped.

“The music wasn’t really doin’ that good. I’m putting out music, but nobody’s payin’ attention,” Fetty Wap recalled. “So, I’m like, man, f### it. I’ma go back to what I know how to do. Instead of pursuing my career harder or going harder to make people listen, man, I kinda was a coward.”

Fetty Wap fans will soon get a new album from the New Jersey native for the first time since 2015. King Zoo is expected to hit DSPs on Black Friday, November 24.

DDG Accuses Nail Salon Of Racism, Claims Halle Bailey Kicked Out Mid-Manicure

DDG accused a Los Angeles nail salon of racism, claiming that staff booted his girlfriend, Halle Bailey, from the premises mid-manicure.

The YouTuber and rapper took to social media Tuesday night (November 21) to complain about the salon he claims mistreated Bailey.

“This place is racist towards black people,” he posted on X. “They kicked my girlfriend out while doing her nails.”

In addition, DDG shared a link to the salon’s Yelp page and urged his followers to leave a negative review.

“Please give them a 1 star,” he added. “They don’t deserve business.”

A post shared by The Neighborhood Talk (@theneighborhoodtalk)

Fans of the “I’m Geekin” hitmaker swiftly took action, flooding the Yelp page with 1 star reviews and unfavorable feedback.

When he initially posted the link, the salon had a 4.4 star rating with 49 reviews. However, the rating had plummeted to 2.5 stars in just a few hours, and the page racked up 115 reviews. In contrast to previous comments, the majority of posts on November 21 gave a 1 star rating and accused the salon of racism. Many alluded to Bailey’s rumored pregnancy, with commenters expressing outrage over her alleged treatment.

The store’s Instagram page, which declares “NO POLITICS! NO SKIN COLOR! NO NATIONALITY! ONLY NAILS,” in the bio, was also plagued with negative feedback and accusations of racism, presumably prompted by DDG’s post. The salon responded to one comment by saying it was “not true” that staff kicked Halle Bailey out.

“She was late 35 min,” the salon claimed. “We just didn’t take her.”

After seeing his fan’s handiwork, DDG deleted his initial post and returned with a follow-up.

“good job,” he told his followers. “Thank you.”

Kanye West, Ty Dolla $ign Drop “Vultures” With No Lil Durk Feature

Kanye West has returned with the new song “Vultures,” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Bump J, but fans want to know where Lil Durk’s verse went.

The track was first previewed last Friday (November 17) on WPWX Power 92 Chicago and included a Durkio feature. However, when “Vultures” arrived on streaming platforms at midnight Wednesday (November 22), Lil Durk was not on the song. Stream the song at the end of the page.

When Ty Dolla $ign announced the track on Instagram, fans flooded his comments section asking about Lil Durk’s verse. However, that was not the only complaint, as listeners also grumbled over the production quality.

https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cz749kaNl5L/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

“FIX THE G###### MIXING AND MAKE YE RE-RECORD THAT VERSE BRO IS ASLEEP TY!!!! HES ASLEEP!!!!!!” one fan wrote. “S### is amazing but please fix the mixing Ty And Ye,” added another.

“this isnt good for kanyes standards AT ALL,” a third person stated. “please say this is just a troll throwaway from the album and that it is actually well produced, well written, and has heart put into it.”

Others called for Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign to release their highly anticipated collab following multiple delays. Earlier this month, Ty updated fans on the album during a concert performance.

“I just landed on a flight from Saudi Arabia,” he told the crowd. “I’ve been out there recording a part of my album with my brother Ye, and that’s coming real soon.”

“Vultures” caused controversy after Kanye West previewed the track, which sees him address his previous antisemitic remarks and also explicitly claim he had sex with Scooter Braun’s ex-wife, Yael.

“How I’m anti-Semitic/I just f##### a Jewish b####/I just f#####/Scooter’s b####/We ran up like Olympics/Got pregnant in the threesome, so whose baby is it.”

Cardi B Fires Back At Fan Claiming She Uses Surgery For Weight Loss

Cardi B fired back at a fan who suggested she flexes in the gym for social media but is actually having plastic surgery to maintain her figure.

The “Jealousy” hitmaker has been candid with her fans over her various procedures and issues with her body. So, when one Twitter user insinuated that the rapper gets surgery any time she gains excess weight, Cardi B responded—despite vowing to take a break from social media just last week.

“I hate influencers who do this get all the surgery,” they wrote alongside a video of Cardi B showing off her curvy behind in a pair of exercise pants. “Acting like they really be in the gym when really if they gain more weight they will just get surgery again smh.”

Cardi B replied, “How vocal have I been about my procedures??? The thing is I don’t gain weight much so I’m trying to gain MUSCLE cuz it’s hard for me to maintain fat. Also there’s this thing called visceral fat…It’s fat that grows under the muscle and you can’t lipo it only thing you can do is work it out! THATS WHY YOU SEE POUCHES ON LIPO GIRLS. YOU HAVE TO MAINTAIN IT!”

The Grammy Award winner showed fans a glimpse of her grueling workout schedule earlier this year. In a TikTok video, Cardi B explained she hits the gym daily after preparing lunch for her two children. Her daily routine includes two hours of working out plus an hour of stretching.

Did Meek Mill Post-And-Delete Gun & Ammo Photo In Response To Trippie Redd Beef?

If the saying “The Devil is in the details” is true, then Meek Mill’s recently deleted post is evidence that his burgeoning beef with Trippie Redd could be really real.

Apparently, Meek feels the need to protect himself amid his spat with Redd considering he literally just posted and deleted a pocket rocket for no apparent reason—other than to send a proverbial message. Meek snuck a picture of what appears to be a large revolver gun and hollow-point bullets. To give the Too Good To Be True rapper the benefit of the doubt, it does appear as though he may have been enjoying an outing at the gun range, given the fact there do seem to be a pair of safety glasses protruding from the corner of the frame. But everything else is out of view.

Even with that said, it’s certainly an ill-timed photo-op at the shooting range for Meek, who publicly addressed his issues with Trippie via Instagram on November 21.

“This guy no good!!!” Meek Mill wrote in the lengthy post. “I ain’t even know you said my name… If you f### with me f### this guy right here… I wanna stand on n####s freely saying my name make it tight outside! I ain’t even know you said my name I seen you get pulled in a room by the gangstas in la you was scared but let’s see how tough yall guys are! I can’t believe these Philly young bulls gassed you to say my name. Look like you repping the devil ima show how trying god is @trippieredd.”

To top it all off, Meek Mill really did issue a travel ban for Trippie Redd, essentially banning the Ohio-bred rapper from traveling to his hometown of Philadelphia. Could Meek’s message be completely lost in translation and he’s just blowing off steam? Or do you think he’s really about to up the blower on the “Dark Knight Dummo” rapper?

Was Lil Baby Serious When He Demanded $200K To Do “Fit” Interview?

Lil Baby may have just set a new and exorbitantly high priced precedent concerning the fee for his media availability. According to a recent viral video, the 4PF CEO refused to participate in the popular trend of walk-up “fit check” interviews with a content creator during his recent visit at a casino because he wasn’t being paid. And it appears the fee he was in search of to compensate his time for the interview was well over six-figures.

”You gotta give me $200K,” Lil Baby shouted at the content creator in part. He doubled down while pointing to the camera, “I’m telling you—you need to pay me $200,000 just to talk to me.”

While multiple fans argued in the comments about whether Lil Baby was wrong for taxing the man like that, he previously set this standard for this more than threes years ago. And it appears what fans are referring to is the viral video of Lil Baby counting money on Instagram Live when he made claimed he gets “200 an occasion.”

Nicki Minaj Calls Out Streaming Platforms As “Pink Friday 2” Single Leak Charts

A recent leak from Nicki Minaj’s next album began charting and competing with artists such as Drake before the track was stripped from streaming services.

On Tuesday (November 21), the Barbz alerted the “Chun-Li” rapper that her unreleased single “Bahm Bahm,” which she recently previewed during a livestream on social media, had been uploaded illegally to streaming platforms. In a since-deleted tweet, Minaj appeared to both condemn the leak and petition for its immediate removal while also alluding to the incredibly low pay per stream rate (PPS) services such as Apple Music and Spotify provide.

“Oh hello no!” Minaj began. “I want all my money back from this thievery! That would’ve been at least a extra 6 to 7 dollars & like 48 cents added to my real account b!ch.”

She concluded the tweet by speculating who the perpetrator that uploaded the leak to streaming was, adding, “[Bet it was a barb chi…umm…oh hey y’all.”

According to a tweet posted by a user before the leak was stripped from streaming services, Minaj’s “Bahm Bahm” reached as high as No. 14 on Apple Music’s top Hip-Hop and Rap Songs chart—beating out records from artists such as Drake, 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne and Doja Cat, among others.

Aside from Nicki Minaj’s leaks trending, she also made waves on social media after winning the award for the Top Female Rap Artist at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards. In addition to nabbing the honor for the first time in her career, Minaj was able to triumph over artists such as Doja Cat, Cardi B and Ice Spice to secure the win ahead of the December 8 release of Pink Friday 2.

Tupac Shakur’s Producer Sues Disney, Hughes Brothers & More Over “Dear Mama”

Master Tee, the co-producer of Tupac Shakur’s song “Dear Mama,” sued fellow producer Tony Pizarro and others for unpaid publishing royalties for the classic track. The lawsuit named Disney, the Hughes Brothers and more as defendants in connection to the FX documentary series Dear Mama.

According to court documents obtained by Music Business Worldwide, Master Tee did not realize he was owed publishing royalties in addition to his producer royalties until the Allen Hughes-directed docuseries Dear Mama premiered in April. The producer claimed he was screwed out of proper credit for his work by Pizarro and executives at Interscope Records and Universal Music Group.

“Master Tee was never properly and fully credited with his publishing copyright from the writing and creation of the music of ‘Dear Mama’ and instead, a self-serving group, led by an upstart music producer, Tony D. Pizarro, conspired with executives at Interscope Records and Universal Music Group, misappropriated Master Tee’s publishing copyright and Master Recording Copyright and assumed the identity of writer/publisher of ‘Dear Mama’s’ music,” Master Tee’s lawyers wrote.

They continued, “Defendant Tony Pizarro, having stolen from Master Tee the provenance of what became one of the most iconic pieces of Hip-Hop culture, has catapulted himself and engineered his grand reputation into the business of rap music on the back of Master Tee’s musical creation and on the fame of the soon-to-be-murdered Tupac. Master Tee seeks to reclaim his rightful place in Hip-Hop history and culture by judgment declaring his ownership and copyright to ‘Dear Mama’ and ‘Dear Mama Remix’ and by restitution from the Defendants named here.”

Master Tee sued Pizarro, Disney, the Hughes Brothers and the other defendants for copyright infringement and unjust enrichment, among other complaints.

The lawsuit zeroed in on Pizarro, Interscope and Universal Music for fraudulent concealment of the plaintiff’s interests and breach of fiduciary duty. Master Tee, whose real name is Terrence Thomas, sought undisclosed damages and an injunction to prevent further distribution of “Dear Mama” royalties until the defendants “fully satisfied the obligations owed” to him.

Are The “Fortnite” Leaks Featuring In-Game Content With Eminem Real?

Eminem is apparently the next rapper to make it into the Fortnite universe following the integration of in-game content spotlighting artists such as Travis Scott.

According to social media posts that began trending on Tuesday (November 21), Slim Shady’s likeness will appear across several different content initiatives that will be revealed in the new “Big Bang” event.

Reports suggests that in addition to the “Marshall Never More” skins modeled after Eminem’s likeness, there will also allegedly be a ”Marshall Magma” variant apart of the iconic series that will a limited time exclusive available for a short period of time. The “Big Bang” event rumored to unveil the exclusive content will reportedly take place on December 2.

Along with fans clamoring about the possible news of Eminem arriving in the world of Fortnite, Twitter users appeared to troll the obvious clash in age groups represented by both the Detroit rapper’s fanbase and the game’s diehard, youthful core audience.

“Fortnite Eminem concert on my birthday,” one user remarked.

Another user pointed out the fact that Eminem may not actually be as inept about the game as most people would think, considering he recently dropped bars about Fortnite.

Check out the post, which also features the alleged leaked content below.
