Drake Wins Big After Argentina Beats France In 2022 FIFA World Cup—Is The Curse Over?

Drake is presumably jumping for joy after Argentina beat France in a 3-3 shootout victory at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. According to an Instagram post from the OVO Sound boss, he placed a $1 million bet on the Lionel Messi-led team and was looking at a $1.75 million payout.

The outcome dispels the notion of the “Drake Curse.” Under this phenomenon, any team or individual that receives support from Drake ends up either losing the game or playing decisively bad—but not today.

While the World Cup win was certainly hard-won—the game went into both overtime and a shootout to determine the victor—Argentina can finally breath a sigh of relief. They’ll also be happy to learn Drake didn’t jinx them as he has other teams in the past. More recently, Drake put a $649,000 bet on Barcelona to win the El Clasico against perennial rivals Real Madrid. But Drake lost the bet after defending La Liga champions managed to beat Catalunya 3-1.

Messi and the rest of his teammates are currently celebrating at the Lusail Stadium in Qatar. Messi, in particular, has all the more reason to smile. As he told Sebastián Vignolo from In First Person, “This will be my last World Cup for sure. The decision has been made.” Argentine fans across the globe were hoping Messi could cement his legacy as one of the greatest to have ever played the sport—and he did.

Bankroll Freddie Takes Another Loss; Second In One Week

Bankroll Freddie lost his request to return of property seized during his April 2022 traffic stop and arrest.

Freddie was arrested after Arkansas State Police discovered drugs, a handgun, and jewelry in his vehicle.

Freddie’s attorneys claimed that the United States failed to adhere to a 60-day deadline to return his property. But a motion filed by the United States Attorney’s Office asserted that the jewelery in question is related to another ongoing case.

According to prosecutors, the jewelry is being held as evidence in an ongoing criminal case against Bankroll Freddie and 34 other defendants, who are facing drug distribution charges.

“Freddie Gladney’s motion for the return of his jewelry is denied because it is the subject of forfeiture allegations,” U.S. District Judge Brian S. Miller recently ruled.

Additionally, Freddie’s request did not mention jewelry as being subject to forfeiture. Therefore, Gladney has to request the return of his jewelry from Judge James Moody, who is overseeing a federal drug case against the rapper.

Bankroll Freddie, born Freddie Gladney III, is currently held without bond in federal Arkansas. Earlier in the week, a U.S. Magistrate Judge ruled that Freddie must remain in pre-trial detention as he faces charges related to his involvement with a street gang in the state.

The Quality Control rapper was arrested on November 10th by FBI agents and named in one of three indictments, charging 80 people with crimes including drug trafficking and weapons violations.

Freddie is alleged to be linked to the Every Body Killas (EBK) street gang, while a separate indictment names 26 people associated with the rival Lodi Murder Mobb gang.

Young Thug’s Team Blindsided By Gunna’s Plea Deal According To Wack 100

Young Thug and his team were allegedly blindsided by Gunna’s decision to cop a plea deal in their ongoing RICO case. During a recent Clubhouse chat, Wack 100 claimed Team Thugger had no idea Gunna would take a deal that would ultimately lead to his release.

“I spoke to Young Thug’s people,” he said. “They can’t really attack it, but they let me know ’cause they know I’ma say something. They had no idea Gunna was about to do that. Zero. They said that the Instagram post that went up is a fan page. That ain’t there real s###.”

He added: “The squad, the attorney’s, nobody had any idea that Gunna was gonna do that. Gunna management team always talks to Thug’s management team. Everybody kept quiet. It gets even deeper than that to where they felt the label knew and they said except to see Gunna try to breach Young Thug on the contact because of this, get free and go solo, then sign direct. So, he’s on some real f s###.”

Gunna walked out of Fulton County Jail on Wednesday (December 14) after seven months behind bars. His attorney, Steven Sadow, explained he’d taken an Alford plea, which allows a defendant to plead guilty to avoid trial, where a harsher sentence is a bigger risk.

Wack 100, who’s typically outspoken on anything rap-related, has questioned Gunna’s release since the YSL rapper was released. As he stated in another Clubhouse conversation, “You’re not pleading guilty to a RICO, and they freeing you. There go the telling right there. He told.”

Wack 100 affiliate, 6ix9ine, also believes Gunna snitched to get out of jail. On Thursday (December 15), the controversial rapper shared a since-deleted post of Gunna on the stand and suggested Gunna ratted to save himself—just like he did. Check it out below.

Beyoncé Told Harry & Meghan They Were Meant To Break Royal Curse

Beyoncé messaged Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, after their interview with Oprah Winfrey aired.

In March 2021, Harry and Meghan spoke to the media mogul about their decision to step down as senior members of the British royal family and relocate to California.

During episode six of the Netflix docuseries “Harry & Meghan,” the Archetypes podcast host was seen receiving a message from the music superstar shortly after the TV special was broadcast.

“Beyoncé just texted, just checking in… I still can’t believe she knows who I am,” smiled Meghan. “She said, ‘She wants me to feel safe and protected. She admires and respects my bravery and vulnerability and thinks I was selected to break generational curses that need to be healed.'”

In response, Harry commented, “Well said.”

As part of the discussion with Oprah, Meghan opened up about her struggles with mental health while she was a working royal, with Harry also revealing that an unidentified individual within the royal family had asked about the skin color of their then-unborn son Archie.

Reflecting on the conversation, Meghan noted that her admission about her mental health was “entirely eclipsed by the conversation about race.”

Shortly after, Harry was filmed showing his wife a message he received from his brother Prince William. However, no details of the text were shared.

The second volume of “Harry & Meghan” is now available to stream on Netflix.

Al B. Sure! Provides New Health Update Following Two-Month Coma

Al B. Sure! has been struggling with health issues for months but continues to update fans on his progress via social media. On Saturday (December 17), the R&B legend shared an Instagram video to his account and revealed the hole in his neck from a tracheotomy had closed.

“That moment when I get home and look into the mirror for the 1st time minus the bandages to discover that the massive hole in my neck from the #tracheostomy has completely closed,” he wrote. “Finally. Not too long ago I can remember simply attempting to speak and only the sound of ‘gurgling air pockets’ would come through! Dr. @djeddief for the save!”

Although noticeably gaunt, Al B. Sure! has come a long way since May when news of his hospitalization first started to spread. During a recent appearance on Fox 5 New York, his first television interview since the whole ordeal began, Al B. Sure! talked about the two-month coma that had him fighting for his life.

“I feel amazing,” he said. “I feel fantastic. But within amazing and fantastic, it has its challenges because I’m also healing physically. There’s a time period when you really have to heal. I have what’s called ‘Chevron.’ That’s when they cut your chest open […] I’m the recipient of an amazing, blessed new liver, and I’m going to treat it well.”

The 54-year-old singer also discussed gaining weight at the height of his career after winning the American Music Award for Best Artist and getting nominated for two Grammys. Once Quincy Jones told him to “please get your act together,” he underwent bariatric surgery. But earlier this year, Al B. Sure! collapsed while working on his new music, then fell into a coma. From there, he went into renal failure and doctors were considering putting him in hospice.

“I was intubated, I was on a ventilator with a tracheotomy, I mean, there were so many things going on,” he explained. “What people don’t truly understand, unless you’ve been through this type of medical journey, is taking for granted breathing, tying your shoes, speaking.”

Al B. Sure! addressed his weight loss last month in an Instagram post after shopping for some new clothes. He wrote in part, “I haven’t weighed 170 lbs. since $ Earnin’ #MountVernon High School. As soon as my medical team approves, I’m back in that gym to re-sculpt the OG’s vessel like I’m about to try out for the league. Taking it one day at a time.”

Ben Foster Ignored Will Smith The Entire Filming Of “Emancipation”

Will Smith revealed his “Emancipation” co-star Ben Foster, would not talk to him at ALL while they filmed the slave movie.

Ben Foster didn’t acknowledge Will Smith for the duration of the “Emancipation” shoot.

In the film, Will plays a slave named Peter who escapes from a Louisiana plantation after nearly being whipped to death, while Foster takes on the role of slave-catcher Jim Fassel.

During a discussion with his children Willow, Jaden, and Trey for their Facebook Watch series, “Red Table Talk,” Smith revealed that Foster went completely method for the entire six-month production.

“Ben just walked past me and didn’t say nothing,” he recalled of the first day on set. “I thought, ‘Oh, he must not have seen me.’ And then for six months, he didn’t speak to me. He didn’t make eye contact with me. He didn’t say a word. He didn’t acknowledge me for six months. But what he did that first day, I was like, ‘Yup, got it. We’re not playing. This is real. This is serious. We’re not fooling around.'”

However, Foster made a point of joining Smith and director Antoine Fuqua by one of the monitors on the final day of the shoot.

“He never came over to the monitor ever, so I’m (thinking this is strange). He comes to the monitor, he watches the shot, and Antoine said, ‘I’m happy. We got it.’ And then I look over at Ben, it’s his last day, he says, ‘Nice to meet you!'” the 54-year-old continued.

Alleged Mastermind Of Young Dolph’s Murder Having Chest Pains, Begs Judge For Help

On Friday (December 16th), Jermarcus Johnson and Hernandez Govan appeared in court for their roles in the murder of Memphis rapper Young Dolph.

Govan, believed to have hired Justin Johnson and Cornelius Smith to carry out the murder, is facing conspiracy charges.

Prosecutors suspect that Govan began planning to assassinate Young Dolph in June 2021. Authorities have not disclosed the reason behind the shooting to the public.

According to WREG, during the court appearance, Govan mentioned that he had not received proper medical attention for blood pressure issues, chest pains, and tingling in his arm due to inadequate staffing at the jail.

Judge Lee Coffee promised to address the issue by speaking with the chief jailer. Jermarcus Johnson’s attorney entered a not-guilty plea on his behalf.

Johnson and Govan have future court dates scheduled for January and February, while Justin Johnson and Cornelius Smith are also due in court in January.

There have been suggestions that the shooting death of Destinee Govan, also known as LottaCash Desto, may have been retribution for the shooting of Young Dolph.

Govan, the daughter of Hernandez Govan, was a protege of Lil Uzi Vert and was killed in a drive-by shooting in Houston on September 24th at the age of 25.

Christian Isaiah Williams, a 24-year-old suspect, is facing murder charges in connection with the case.

The murder case of Young Dolph has garnered significant attention and has been high-profile since the rapper was killed in 2021.

Many in the community have been closely following the case and eagerly awaiting the outcome.

The police are still conducting an investigation into Young Dolph’s murder. Steve Mulroy, the Shelby County District Attorney General, stated that the investigation is still a top priority.

In related news, Dolph’s posthumous album Paper Route Frank, created and completed by the deceased rapper before his passing, has been released by Paper Route Empire and Dolph’s estate.

The album features guest verses from fellow PRE artists Key Glock, Big Moochie Grape, and Snupe Bandz, as well as trusted companions Gucci Mane and 2 Chainz.

The album showcases Dolph’s signature commanding and insightful rhymes set against a grandiose, bass-heavy soundscape produced by Dolph’s frequent associates Bandplay, Sosa 808, and DJ Squeeky.

50 Cent Weighs In On Megan Thee Stallion & Tory Lanez Trial Using Jussie Smollett

50 Cent is a notorious internet troll who loves to stir the pot (just ask Lil Kim). On Saturday (December 17), the Power exec became a trending Twitter topic after he weighed in on Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez’s ongoing trial. He wrote: “Damn, I’m confused. All this s### going around. I don’t know what to think. LOL.” He paired his comment with a meme of Megan morphing into disgraced Empire actor Jussie Smollett and link to G-Unit merch.

Smollett, of course, was found guilty of five counts of disorderly conduct last December for claiming he was the victim of a hate crime in January 2019. Chicago police Superintendent Eddie Johnson said Smollett staged the attack because “he was dissatisfied with his salary.”

Clearly, 50 Cent is suggesting Megan Thee Stallion has been lying on the witness stand and in previous interviews.

https://twitter.com/50cent/status/1604247226796019712?s=20&t=v3XTuU073YIDCNuhElWFNQ

In April, Megan Thee Stallion made her first television appearance on CBS This Morning following the July 2020 shooting. She told Gayle King she was never intimately involved with Tory Lanez, but during this week’s trial, Megan’s sexual history was spilled out in court and included the Canadian rapper. Subsequently, people are questioning her credibility.

Since day one, Lanez has maintained the fight that took place in the SUV that night started over jealously. He claims he had sex with both Megan Thee Stallion and her former best friend, Kelsey Harris, which supposedly sparked the initial argument. Lanez maintains his text at the center of the investigation in which he apologizes to Megan pertained to their alleged love triangle.

As he tweeted to Megan in February, “Good dick had me f###### 2 best friends, and I got caught. That’s what I apologized 4. It’s sick how u spun it tho.”

Naturally, Twitter is split on 50 Cent’s joke. One person wrote, “Imagine using years of misogyny and harassment against a Black woman who experienced violence to make joke AND sell your own merch. You don’t have to because here it is.” Another added: “This is a very bad post and you should rethink it.”

Others just reminded his audience how petty Curtis Jackson is and always has been. As one user pointed out, “Y’all in his comments like he care. We talking bout 50 Cent, the same 50 Cent who bought out three rows at a Ja Rule concert so the front rows will be empty. Save y’all breathe because he don’t care.”

Megan Thee Stallion’s Former Bodyguard Is M.I.A…KINDA!

Megan Thee Stallion’s former bodyguard was slated to testify on Friday in the highly publicized Tory Lanez assault case, but the guy is supposedly missing in action. The dude was supposed to be giving us more “tea,” but instead was just not there. The story, which was broken by The Shade Room, was even picked up by TMZ. You know TMZ needs to mention AHH every now and then too. But anyway…..

People automatically put something evil and nefarious when we found out he didn’t make it to the courtroom. Well, here’s the thing….people jumped to all sorts of theories! The bodyguard didn’t want to “snitch.” Another was Tory Lanez got him killed. There was all this JUNK out there!

One thing people didn’t consider: he just didn’t show up! And that seems to be exactly what happened. According to my sources, the dude was on social media like nothing happened. Whatever he has been doing, I am unable to tell. What I have seen in relative recent inactivity. Perhaps he commented on something? I am not sure.

The LAPD is on the case and they have stated that dude is not a “missing person” yet. I wonder what it would take for that to happen? Anyway, the plot thickens!!!

As the first week of shocking testimony wrapped in the Tory Lanez assault trial, The Shade Room has exclusively learned that Megan Thee Stallion’s former bodyguard, who was also scheduled to testify on Friday, Justin Edison, cannot be located.

Master P Proclaims The Shade Room Is “The Devil”

Master P is a god-fearing man—and evidently he’s not down with The Shade Room. On Saturday (December 17), the No Limit boss clarified a previous post he made about the devil, proclaiming the gossip site was Satan himself.

“The Shade Room is the Devil!” he wrote in an Instagram post. “GOD will make your enemies your footstool.” The post was accompanied by a screenshot of Master P’s original sentiments, which read: “Satan you are a liar! I love y’all and Jesus loves you too. Keep being a blessing and more blessings will come to you.”

The Shade Room re-posted it and wrote in the caption, “Master P with a message about Satan & lies.” He quickly clarified, “No, what I was saying is the Shaderoom is the Devil.”

https://www.instagram.com/p/CmR-yZUp_qm/?hl=en

As a public figure, Master P frequently pops up in rap-related headlines, but his family has had a particularly trying year. In May, Master P’s daughter, Tytyana Miller, suffered a fatal drug overdose at 29. The coroner ruled her death an accidental fentanyl overdose in October.

Since then, the 52-year-old entrepreneur has been outspoken about mental health and substance abuse awareness. Shortly after Miller’s death, Master P shared an Instagram post expressing his grief but also urged people to speak up.

“Our family is dealing with an overwhelming grief for the loss of my daughter Tytyana,” he said at the time. “We respectfully request some privacy so that our family can grieve. We appreciate all of the prayers love and support. Mental illness & substance abuse is a real issue that we can’t be afraid to talk about. With God, we will get through this. #MyAngel.”

It’s unclear what angered Master P enough to take his grievances about The Shade Room to social media, but he has an arsenal of people agreeing with him in the comment section.

“This is a fact,” one person wrote. “The Shade Room contributes negatively to how Black people are viewed. Plus, it’s not good for your mental health.” Another said: “Unfortunately, theyre profiteers of ‘mess.’ Thank you for working so hard to counter that narrative by doing what you do and sharing it with the world via social media. We need more Master Ps.”

EXCLUSIVE: Goodr Issues Statement After Walmart Cancels Gunna’s Christmas Giveaway

Representatives for Goodr have issued a statement about the sudden cancelation of a planned holiday giveaway with rap star Gunna.

Gunna was supposed to host his fifth annual “Great Giveaway” in College Park, Georgia, tomorrow (December 18th) at a local Walmart, but the big box retailer pulled the plug on the event at the last minute.

The rapper partnered with Goodr to host the annual giveaway. They planned to distribute $100,000 worth of gift cards to families in College Park.

But the local Walmart canceled the “Great Giveaway” at the last minute. A rep for Goodr issued a statement to AllHipHop.com about the unfortunate turn of events.

“Goodr was saddened to learn of Walmart’s decision to cancel the 5th Annual Gunna’s Great Giveaway event today. Gunna and the entire Goodr team were looking forward to brightening the holidays of the 1,000 families that registered. We are aware of how much the promised gifts meant to those families and we are collectively working to find an alternate solution. Registered families will be updated about the event’s status. Goodr apologizes for any inconvenience this unexpected turn of events has caused.”

The City of South Fulton Police Department also issued a statement but had no information to provide as to why the event was scrapped.

“As we had been working with Walmart to address security for the gift card giveaway that was to be hosted by Gunna and Goodr company on Sunday, we learned that Walmart has canceled the event.
Any further information on why the event was canceled must be obtained directly from Walmart,” The City of South Fulton Police Department said in a statement.

On Wednesday (December 14th), rapper Gunna, whose real name is Sergio Kitchens, was released from jail after pleading guilty to a racketeering charge.

Gunna had been arrested in May, along with over 20 other associates of YSL Records, for conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act.

On Wednesday, he entered a pre-negotiated plea and was sentenced to five years in jail, with one year commuted for time served.

The remaining four years of Gunna’s sentence were suspended, provided that he fulfilled community service and other probation conditions. Kitchens was released later that same day.

BREAKING: Walmart Cancels Gunna’s “Great Giveaway” Christmas Event

The City of South Fulton’s police department has canceled the 5th Annual “Great Giveaway” event hosted by Atlanta rapper Gunna.

The event, which was scheduled to take place tomorrow (December 18th) at a South Fulton Walmart, was organized in partnership with Goodr and aimed to distribute $100 gift cards to 1,000 pre-registered families in College Park.

The “Great Giveaway” is one of several community endeavors that Gunna and Goodr have worked on jointly, including pop-up grocery markets, coat giveaways, and back-to-school events.

According to 11Alive, the police department stated that Walmart had canceled the event and any inquiries should be directed to the retailer.

This news comes just days after Gunna entered an Alford plea for conspiracy to violate the RICO Act, along with several other YSL members.

Gunna was released from jail on December 14th, as were YSL members Slimelife Shawty and Lil Duke, who also accepted plea deals and were released and credited with time served.

YSL co-founder Walter Murphy also accepted a plea deal in the RICO case after pleading guilty to racketeering and being sentenced to 10 years, with one year commuted to time served and nine years of probation.

Meanwhile, Young Thug remains locked up and is slated to face trial in January. While he was not granted bond or freedom, Young Thug scored a significant win during his court hearing on Thursday (December 16th).

A judge ruled that a search of Young Thug’s home in 2015 was unconstitutional and dismissed the charges stemming from the raid.

AllHipHop broke the news: Young Thug’s lawyer claimed that the cell phones seized during the search were suppressed by a written order in April 2017 and should have been returned to the rapper, but were not.

Judge Glanville agreed with Young Thug, making the evidence obtained from the phones inadmissible for prosecutors to use.

Kim Kardashian Starts Building Her $6.3M Space Ship Mansion

Influencer, reality star, and former wife of Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, is about to build her dream home out in the desert.

According to Radar Online, the law school graduate has just dropped a cool $6.3 million on a property lot and has filed for an updated permit to start construction on the land.

She originally applied for a permit on the 41,817-acre plot of land because the city requested revisions to the plan, she came up with to build her home and the amenities. The city wanted to ensure each step met fire safety and pool codes.

What was so crazy about her blueprint that peaked the city’s attention?

The star wants to create a spaceship-shaped mansion, designed by Bo. Shi Architects and Tadao Ando Architects and Associates.

The home will feature a movie theater, an indoor sauna, a mudroom, a fountain near the entrance of the home, and a circular courtyard for friends and family to kick it at.

Kim will have the master bedroom with a double bathroom and two walk-in closets, and all four of her children will have their own bedrooms with a closet and private bathroom to enjoy.

Kim also planned to have two elevators in the abode.

The lot for the land was part of her divorce settlement from Kanye.

She also got five other homes in Hidden Hills, a Riverside property, three homes in Idaho, and a massive compound in Malibu.

There are other smaller properties Kim and her children are in possession of, as Ye was extremely generous with his family in the negotiation.

Westside Gunn released his latest project, 10, in October, the final installment in the Hitler Wears Hermes series. Speaking to AllHipHop, Gunn talked about the man who appears on the album cover—Eastside Flip, a lovable Buffalo local.

‘That’s Eastside Flip,” he explained. “He’s been on a lot of my projects as skits. He’s my guy. He’s just the neighborhood fiend, a bit of a crackhead, but he’s a cool dude. I took him down to Miami Art Basal last year. He got arrested and everything. He hit a cop. He’s crazy. I’m actually going to see him today. He’s crazy as f### though. We shooting a video today and he’s just a loose cannon. Everybody in my whole city knows Flip.”

Gunn is clearly planning on staying busy in 2023. He’s currently working on new music videos after delivering “Mac Don’t Stop” and “Nigos Louis” in November. He has another project in the works called Michelle, named after his late Aunt Chelle who passed away in November 2021.

Kanye and Kim’s Ex-Bodyguard Spills Juicy “Odd” Secrets In New Doc “15 Days With Kanye”

In an explosive revelation, Kanye West and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian’s former bodyguard, Steve Stanulis, said he did not believe the two had a loving relationship.

Stanulis, who worked as their bodyguard for 15 days in 2016. Now he is premiering his tell-all documentary, “15 Days With Kanye,” and pushing how cold the two were to each other.

He was not shocked by their divorce, according to the U.S. Sun.

“It was like I discovered the Titanic,” he said. “I’ve never seen them snuggly or hold hands or anything romantic. You know, even like when they were together, they kissed each other goodbye, and I don’t mean like make out. I mean just like, ‘Hey, see you later, hun.’ I never saw any affection.”

Adding, “I just thought it was odd. I’d be with them sometimes 17, 18 hours a day, and she’d be doing her thing, and then he’d do his thing.”

As AllHipHop.com previously reported, Kanye has accused Stanulis of being a stalker and threatened to file a lawsuit for breach of an NDA

However, the former NYPD officer says he never signed an NDA and that Ye and KKW never sued him.

He did admit he received a cease-and-desist letter from their attorneys. He also was finally paid the almost $4,000 he was owed for working those two weeks with the couple.

“15 Days with Kanye” will premiere on January 19th, 2023, at the New York City International Film Festival.

The Lord Mayor Of Brisbane Calls Azealia Banks’ Actions, ‘Selfish’

The Lord Mayor of Brisbane, Adrian Schrinner, had words for Azealia Banks after she canceled her performance and said his city was “racist.”

As reported by AllHipHop.com, Banks went on a crazy rant about her Tuesday, Dec. 13 show at The Tivoli, a venue in Brisbane. She said on her social media, she didn’t want to go out at the concert because someone threw something at her on stage and the venue did not prohibit anything that could be considered a projectile being brought into the place.

She called her time in the city “the most racist f##king demoralizing experience,” and said she was “too Black and beautiful to have a bunch of white people in [her] face playing with me over their weak ass currency.”

“I’m so sorry you guys – actually I’m not sorry – but listen last time I was in Brisbane and y’all threw s### on the stage and damn near almost f###### hit me in the face with a f###### bottle of soda or whatever that s### was,” she said in a video.

“That was the most racist, most demoralizing experience of my f###### life and right now I’m on a really good track. Brisbane, y’all are just going to have to take the L and smoke it,” she said.

Schrinner also took to social media and posted his thoughts on her comments, according to the Star Observer.

“A few stupid ratbags in a mosh pit aren’t representative of our proud multicultural city, where around 1 in 3 residents were born overseas,” Schrinner captioned on Instagram.

“I encourage anyone who has been let down by Azealia’s selfish snub to instead support some of Brisbane’s incredible local acts.”

Many Aussies voiced their opinion on what was called a “selfish snub” by the African American artist.

One wrote on Bank’s Instagram under her video, “Tell us all again why [you] came back if [you] hate Australia so much for something that happened years ago? And please explain how throwing a bottle is racist?”

“People were throwing stuff cause your music’s sh*t and they wanted you off stage,” another wrote.

“No racism down under,” one more person commented. “Just people who don’t like sh*t music.”

The last person is wrong.

Just recently, according to an article called “The Darkness Down Under,” the country has been in the news about its treatment of indigenous people, who despite making up only “3.2 percent of Australia’s total population, yet they account for almost 30 percent of the country’s prison population.” Sounds pretty familiar, huh?

The article, published in the Daily Beast, states, “[The] history of Australia’s colonization—Aboriginal lands were taken without treaty, consent, or compensation—and the protracted struggle for equality and justice, it’s not surprising that First Nations people view police with deep fear and suspicion.”

Adding, “For more than 150 years, it was police and their trackers (both black and white) who were responsible for many of the massacres of Aboriginal people. It was governments and their police who often turned a blind eye to the vigilantes who ‘cleared’ the country of its rightful owners. It was police who took children from their families and facilitated their ‘re-education’ in state and religious institutions.”

Banks might be bratty, but statistics show she might not be wrong about the prejudice in the continent country.

Ellen DeGeneres Expresses Anguish Over Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss’s Death In Second Tribute

Ellen DeGeneres is “heartbroken” over the sudden death of Stephen’ tWitch’ Boss.

On Wednesday, Los Angeles Police Department officials announced that the dancer/TV personality had died in an apparent suicide. He was 40.

Slime Life Shawty And Lil Duke Free After Plea Deals In YSL RICO Charges

Gunna got his walking papers after affirming that Young Slime Life was a gang and accepting a plea deal, and now two additional members of YSL, Lil Duke and Slimelife Shawty, were released from jail.

However, Slimelife Shawty, the artist whose real name is Wunnie Lee, said he didn’t “snitch” to get out.

He took to social media to tell his 436,000 fans on Instagram to clear up any misconceptions that might arise now that he is a free man.

“Yea I’m home, ain have to snitch to get here d***head. I admitted you slime life was a gang c## it ain’t illegal for no group to be a gang look it up that don’t hurt nobody anybody can be a gang, plus the founder already admitted it stupid,” Slimelife said on his IG Story.

He added, “What I pose to say if a founder admitted it. What I den do was say Yes it’s a fact people in YSL commit crimes like murder and ect c## ion no nun bout that.”

Joe Coscarelli, a writer for the New York Times, took to social media, to explain that Lil Duke also accepted a plea deal, signing it a year and a half ago while he had a #1 song on Billboard.

“Like Gunna, Slimelife Shawty faced just one count: conspiracy to violate RICO,” he tweeted. “Lil Duke of YSL also took a plea deal today a year and a half ago, these guys were on a Billboard No. 1 album.”

According to the tweet, he is one of the few of YSL artists not to get indicted for the RICO case. Who else will be coming out?

Jewish Man Viciously Beaten In Central Park; Assailaint Yells “Kanye 2024”

A 63-year-old man was attacked in Central Park, New York on Wednesday (December 14) in what the New York Police Department is calling an antisemitic incident.

The victim was strolling in the park when he was ambushed from behind by a man in his mid-40s. As a result of the attack, the victim fell and suffered wounds, including a broken hand and a chipped tooth.  The suspect reportedly yelled antisemitic slurs at the victim, as well as “Kanye 2024,” before escaping on a bicycle with a trailer attached and a sign that read: “Hungry Disabled.”

Scott Richman, who heads up the New York/New Jersey division of the Anti-Defamation League in New York/New Jersey, told CNN Ye’s antisemitic rants have emboldened people to commit crimes against Jewish people.

“When public figures with huge platforms fan the flames of antisemitism, people will copy it and begin to think it’s normal,” Richman told the outlet.

The victim is in stable condition, and the suspect is still at large.

Officers are asking for the public’s help in identifying the assailant, who is described as a light-complexioned man wearing a brown jacket, multi-colored hat, beige pants and white sneakers. The incident is being investigated as a hate crime.

According to ABC7 New York, there was a 70 percent increase in hate crimes in New York City last month compared to the same month the previous year, with a particularly high increase in antisemitic attacks, which rose by 125 percent. The NYPD released data showing there were 45 hate crimes motivated by antisemitism in November, compared to 20 in November 2021.

Antisemitic hate crimes have been rising throughout the year, with concerns about racism on social media being cited as a contributing factor. Mayor Eric Adams has pointed to social media as a major spreader of hate, while Richman has noted social media allows both good and bad voices to be heard and allows haters to find others with similar hateful views.

Kanye West has faced widespread condemnation for praising Adolf Hitler and making antisemitic comments during recent interviews. During one shocking conversation with far-right radio commentator Alex Jones of Infowars, West stated he sees “good things about Hitler also” and launched into an antisemitic tirade, stating “every human being has something of value that they brought to the table – especially Hitler.”

In response, the Anti-Defamation League’s CEO, Jonathan Greenblatt, described West’s comments as “vicious,” while the Republican Jewish Coalition “vehemently condemned” the rapper and called on political leaders to “reject these messengers of hate.”

Ye has faced criticism over the past two months for making several offensive comments about Jewish people on social media and in interviews. As a result, Adidas and Creative Artists Agency have both severed ties with him, among others.

Nick Cannon Explains Why Late Son Zen Didn’t Undergo Chemotherapy For Brain Cancer

Nick Cannon has explained why his late son Zen Cannon didn’t undergo chemotherapy.

During an appearance on “The Checkup with Dr David Agus,” the television personality reflected on his and Alyssa Scott’s decision to forgo chemotherapy for their son Zen after discovering their baby had brain cancer.

Zen died in December 2021 of the condition at five months old. Nick recalled, “Seeing your son hooked up to all of those machines – and he had to go for a shunt two or three times, and that was heartbreaking every time – even in that short amount of time, I couldn’t imagine him having to go through chemo.”

Alyssa and Nick reportedly realized chemotherapy would “suck everything out” of their baby, with doctors telling them the “best case scenario” was for Zen to live for “three or four years.”

Nick also said doctors told the couple the treatment would “not really” extend the child’s life.

In the end, they wanted to prioritize Zen’s “quality of life” and give him the “best existence he could have” in the time they had left.

Nick reflected on his journey of undergoing chemotherapy for his lupus and what treatment would have been like for Zen.

“My hair was falling out. I wouldn’t even call it pain; it just sucked everything out of you,” he revealed, adding, “I couldn’t imagine that on a newborn and what that would do.”
