Naomi Campbell, 53, Welcomes Second Child: “It’s Never Too Late To Become A Mother”

Naomi Campbell says age shouldn’t be an obstacle to motherhood, sharing the exciting news of her second child’s birth.

The 53-year-old supermodel shared the news on Instagram, announcing the arrival of her “little darling” with a touching photo. She shared an image of herself cradling her newborn while she and her two-year-old daughter held his hand.

“My little darling, know that you are cherished beyond measure and surrounded by love from the moment you graced us with your presence,” Naomi Campbell penned in the caption. She hailed the little boy as “A True Gift from God,” adding she feels “blessed.”

After welcoming her new arrival, the fashion icon declared, “It’s never too late to become a mother.”

The comment section was littered with congratulations from Campbell’s famous friends. Kelly Rowland, La La Anthony, Zoe Saldana, Donatella Versace, Mark Jacobs and fellow supermodel Cindy Crawford were among the celebrities sharing their well wishes.

Naomi Campbell became a mother for the first time at 50, welcoming her daughter shortly before her 51st birthday. She announced the news in May 2021, also via Instagram. The following year, Campbell posed with her daughter for the cover of British Vogue in March 2022.

“She’s my child,” she said, dismissing rumors that she adopted the little girl. Campbell also addressed the surprise announcement adding, “I can count on one hand the number of people who knew that I was having her.

“But she is the biggest blessing I could ever imagine. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done.”

Ice Cube Accuses NBA Of Targeting His Big3 League: “We Got To Fight Back”

Less than a week after vowing to expose the gatekeepers for interfering with the progress of his Big3 basketball league, Ice Cube has made good on his promise, accusing the NBA of a behind-the-scenes boycott attempt.

Earlier this week (June 25), the legendary rapper and actor announced his intention to “go on a f### the Gatekeepers podcast tour,” to name and shame the alleged offenders. He took to Twitter with a video revealing his plans.

“What club am I talking about? I’m talking about the club of gatekeepers that we all got to deal with,” Ice Cube declared. “You know who they are and they definitely know who they are.”

On the latest episode of the Joe Rogan Podcast, Ice Cube did just that, making a serious accusation against Adam Silver’s NBA.

According to Cube, NBA insiders view The Big 3 as a threat and have been actively working to squash the competition. He accused the NBA of attempting to obstruct potential sponsorships and other opportunities.

“I’m not trying to compete in any way shape or form with the NBA. We are very complementary,” Ice Cube explained. “So, I don’t understand why they would do some of the things that’s being done behind the scenes. Encouraging people to not sponsor us, encouraging networks not to play us.”

After sharing his frustration at what he sees as unnecessary meddling, Ice Cube assured he would fight back.

“We’ve been able to survive but at a certain point it’s just redundant and ridiculous,” he added. “We got to fight back in some way, shape or form.”

The Cash Money Legacy Continues: Lil Wayne Set To Receive BMI Icon Award 10 Years After Birdman And Slim

Lil Wayne is set to be honored with the BMI Icon Award at the 2023 R&B/Hip-Hop Awards.

The organization will award the Young Money Entertainment founder their highest honor, hailing Lil Wayne as “one of the most influential artists of all time.” The private ceremony will be held on September 6 at LIV Nightclub in Miami Beach.

BMI vice president, creative, Atlanta, Catherine Brewton, said Lil Wayne is “synonymous” with Hip-Hop and shared their pride at naming him a BMI Icon.

Previous recipients of the honor include some of the biggest names in the genre. Among them are Janet Jackson, Snoop Dogg, The Jacksons, L.A. Reid, Babyface, Al Green, Isaac Hayes, James Brown, and Busta Rhymes.

Lil Wayne will receive the BMI Icon Award exactly ten years after Cash Money Records founders Birdman and Slim were given the same honor.

Although the five-time Grammy Award winner is set to become a BMI Icon with five No. 1 albums and multiple hit singles to his name, his icon status did nothing to help him clear one of his singles.

The “A Milli” hitmaker recently revealed his shock at learning he was unable to share one of his own songs on social media. During a recent appearance on the Hank vs. Wolf podcast, Weezy recalled posting a video of him and his friends doing a few skateboard tricks backed by one of his tracks.

However, the post was blocked, and Wayne was told he couldn’t share the song without clearing it first. “Clear what?” Lil Wayne questioned. “That’s me!”

Lil Uzi Vert Drops ‘Pink Tape’ But Fans Question Missing Playboi Carti Feature

Lil Uzi Vert has finally dropped their highly anticipated album Pink Tape, but many fans want to know why Playboi Carti was left off the project.

The rumblings began on Thursday evening when tidal shared the tracklist. While Travis Scott, Nicki Minaj, Don Toliver and many others appear on the project, Playboi Cardi is noticeably absent.

The ” Just Wanna Rock,” hitmaker has been teasing a Carti feature since earlier this year, previewing an unreleased track at Rolling Loud California in March. In the song, Uzi highlighted the tensions in their long-standing friendship but said they cherish the rapper. “Shout out to Carti, we don’t talk hardly, but that’s where my heart be,” Uzi raps.

A couple of weeks later, Uzi again hinted at a Carti collab and promised the duo would dominate with their upcoming music. “Me and my luv about 2 take over the world,” Uzi wrote on their Instagram Story in March.

During a Twitch interview with Adin Ross in February, Uzi revealed they have recorded over 40 songs with Playboi Carti for their long-awaited joint album 16*29.

However, when the Pink Tape tracklist surfaced on Thursday evening (June 29,) just hours before the project’s scheduled release, there was not a Carti feature among the 26 songs.

Carti began trending on Twitter with fans up in arms about his absence on the project, with some hoping Uzi would share it as a bonus track. Others suggested Carti was late turning in his verse but would definitely appear on the official tracklist.

Others accepted the news, believing Lil Uzi and Carti were beyond healing the rift. “Yall n##### jus needa realize Carti and Uzi got divorced and move on,” wrote one Twitter user.

The Game And Monica Make A Big, Big Nude Splash

Damn, Goonica!

I don’t know why, but I thought Monica was dating C-Murder. I know C-Murder is in jail and it’s highly improbable that any real relationship could occur. Well, it looks like she’s moved on from one dope rapper to another dope rapper. The Game and Monica made their splash debut on social media just a few moments ago, publishing pictures on Instagram that depict themselves in a sudsy bathtub. This is definitely a statement and a half. This is a whole reality show in a few short posts. I had no idea they were so intimate. I don’t know what to say other than “Wow,” because “wow!”

Who saw this coming?

One thing’s for sure and two thing’s for certain, The Game has had his share of bad luck with the ladies, but it looks like that’s all changed now. His look is back in order! He still may owe quite a bit of money , but a move like this represents a big momentum shift. Anyway, shout out to these two. I’m happy for them both, and I hope they find great happiness in the future.

But Priscilla Rainey, a former participant on The Game’s reality show “She Got Game,” is persistently pursuing the collection of a $7.1 million judgment against the popular rapper. Rainey’s latest strategy involves focusing on The Game’s cryptocurrency holdings. As of June 20, the judgment, including accumulated interest, remains mostly unpaid, with Rainey managing to recover approximately $402,365.20 from Game’s assets, which accounts for roughly 5.65 percent of the original judgment amount.

Rainey has made significant efforts in post-judgment discovery, leading her to discover that the cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase holds funds on behalf of The Game. It has come to light that The Game has recently been involved in the world of cryptocurrency, particularly demonstrating an interest in non-fungible tokens (NFTs), a relatively new type of digital asset within the crypto sphere.

She better not come around Goonica! That may not work out for her!

Tyler Perry, Meek Mill And More Rally Behind Elderly Woman’s Fight To Keep Her Land

Tyler Perry, Meek Mill and other celebrities offered support to a 93-year-old woman who is trying to save her home in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

Bailey Point Investment sued Josephine Wright after she refused to sell her property to the developers. Perry helped Wright’s story gain attention by sharing a WSAV report, which covered the woman’s clash with developers. Wright’s family has owned the land since shortly after the Civil War.

“’I’ve pretty much been a fighter all my life,’ said 93-year-old Josephine Wright,” Perry wrote on Instagram. “Well, that makes two of us. Ms. Wright, please tell where to show up and what you need to help you fight.”

Meek Mill was one of the notable people who commented on Perry’s post. The rapper criticized Bailey Point for harassing the elderly woman.

“Corporate bullying at its finest,” he wrote. “this super hero status!”

Actress Gabrielle Dennis also reacted to Wright’s issues with developers.

“I hate this is happening to her, but I love that she is down to fight!” Dennis wrote. “I pray the outcome is in her favor because the other side definitely seems unscrupulous!”

Wright’s granddaughter created a GoFundMe to help the 93-year-old woman with legal fees. NBA star Kyrie Irving donated $40,000 to the campaign, which has raised more than $134,000 as of Thursday (June 29).

Blueface Claims He Accepted Plea Deal To Protect Chrisean Rock From Charges

Blueface aired out more of his relationship drama with Chrisean Rock on Thursday (June 29).

The West Coast rapper said he accepted a plea deal to help Chrisean Rock avoid criminal charges in Las Vegas. Blueface claimed he caught the heat for a May 29 incident that happened at the Palms Casino Resort.

“I’m only on house arrest cuz I took all the charges for Rock y you think [there] is no warrant for her arrest,” he wrote on Instagram Stories. “Y would I let her stay in my house when I’m stuck in another state [and] I got my BM ready to drive to me with the kids. Rock is out, Jaidyn [Alexis] is in, it’s that simple.”

Earlier this week, Blueface agreed to plead guilty to a felony count of firing a gun into a vehicle and misdemeanor battery in connection to a 2022 shooting outside of a Las Vegas nightclub. Prosecutors dropped a robbery charge stemming from the 2023 incident at the Palms.

Blueface posted paperwork detailing Chrisean Rock’s role in instigating trouble at the Palms. She allegedly assaulted a woman at the casino. Blueface was accused of taking the woman’s phone, which resulted in a robbery charge.

“I said no I’ll take the deal [and] plead guilty cuz her name is all in the work,” Blueface explained on Instagram.

Blueface is scheduled to enter his guilty plea on July 3.

Jamie Foxx “Still Not Himself” After Medical Complication Source Says

Fans have been wondering what’s going on with beloved actor and comedian Jamie Foxx and his health.

Foxx suffered a “medical complication” in April while filming the new Netflix movie “Back in Action.”

A source tells People Magazine he’s progressing but “still not himself.” While no specific details about the illness or his progress have been released, some insiders are saying they’ve seen or talked to him— providing proof of development.

One person close to the situation said, “He is getting the best care and working hard to recover right now, but he is still not himself. He has the tightest circle around him.”

Actor John Boyega, who co-starred in “They Cloned Tyrone,” said he spoke to Foxx on the phone recently. Boyega said he was calling him and then “he finally picked up the phone.”

He added, “He’s doing well. And then, you know, we just giving him the privacy, and we can’t wait for his return. I gave him the well wishes directly. I gave him all the well wishes. So, I’m just gonna be waiting until he comes back out here. So, take your time, Jamie. We love you, bro.”

Producer Datari Turner also gave an update on Foxx’s health, saying, “He’s doing amazing. I promise you. Doing really, really good. [Director] Juel [Taylor] talked to him yesterday. John Boyega talked to him yesterday. He’s in really, really good shape and spirits. And he’ll be back on the screen. He’ll be back to work very soon.”

Travis Scott Avoids Criminal Charges In Astroworld Tragedy

A Texas grand jury did not indict Travis Scott on criminal charges in connection to the Astroworld tragedy.

Attorney Kent Schaffer, who represents Travis Scott, spoke to reporters about the grand jury’s decision on Thursday (June 29). Schaffer was not aware of the exact charges under consideration, but the attorney believed his client rightfully dodged an indictment.

Travis Scott’s 2021 Astroworld Festival was a tragic event that left 10 people dead from injuries suffered in a fatal crowd crush. Some of the victims’ families hoped to see the Epic Records artist get indicted, but Schaffer said it was wrong to blame his client.

“I know they lost loved ones, but Travis is not responsible,” Schaffer told reporters. “Bringing criminal charges against him will not ease their pain … Indicting Travis for something he’s clearly not responsible for is not going to ease their pain at all. I hope their pain is something they’ll be able to live with.”

Travis Scott still faces multiple lawsuits over the Astroworld tragedy. Families of the deceased and other victims who were injured at the festival sued the rapper, Live Nation and several parties involved in the event.

Last year, Live Nation settled lawsuits with the families of Astroworld victims Axel Acosta and Brianna Rodriguez. Travis Scott’s legal team did not participate in the settlement discussions.

YNW Melly Trial: Victim’s Mother Testifies After Criticizing Rapper’s Courtroom Behavior

YNW Juvy’s mother Leondra Phillips identified her son and his alleged killer in the YNW Melly murder trial on Thursday (June 29).

After weeks of sitting in the gallery, Phillips testified in the trial. Prosecutors called her to the stand to point out her son and YNW Melly in surveillance footage from the day of the crime.

Phillips said her son entered the right side of a vehicle to sit in one of the rear passenger seats. YNW Melly sat in the other rear seat on the left side.

Prosecutors claim the rapper shot and killed YNW Juvy and YNW Sakchaser inside the vehicle. A crime scene reconstruction expert told jurors the fatal shots were fired by someone in the same vehicle as the victims.

Phillips took the stand in YNW Melly’s trial after condemning his antics in court. YNW Juvy’s mother criticized the defendant for blowing kisses, praying and smiling during the proceedings.

“I walked out,” she told NBC 6 earlier this month. “Because I don’t—what you praying for? You sitting over there like you ain’t got no remorse. Like every time I walk in, you smiling. This ain’t the time for that. This case is sad. This is serious.”

YNW Melly, whose real name is Jamell Demons, pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder charges. He faces the death penalty if convicted.

A$AP Twelvyy’ Kids Gotta Eat is expected to arrive on July 7, not long after the rapper scored a slam dunk with his latest single, “Pass The Torch.”

Since 2006, he’s emerged as one of the most talented voices of his generation, captivating crowds with his impressive wordplay.

Travis Scott Could Face Criminal Responsibility For Astroworld Deaths

Travis Scott could receive several criminal indictments related to the multiple deaths and injuries from a crowd surge during his 2020 Astroworld concert in Houston.

The harrowing incident took a legal and financial toll on Scott’s career, but that’s nothing compared to what the victims’ families have had to endure. According to the Houston Chronicle, a grand jury will decide how to move forward.

On Thursday (June 29), prosecutors, defense lawyers and Houston police detectives were spotted at the grand jury proceedings. Scott’s attorney, Kent Schaffer, and Christopher Downey, attorney for festival manager Brent Silberstein, were anxiously on deck waiting to see what the life-changing decision might be for all parties.

This differs from civil cases, where victims or their families will receive compensation for injuries or loss of life. In this case, people could potentially go to jail. It seems the lawyers are in the dark, which made the situation much more ominous.

“I don’t know their position on my client or anyone,” Downey said. Schaffer, on the other hand, said to the press that he didn’t believe the grand jury has enough evidence to support bringing criminal charges against the rapper.

Information is likely scarce due to a current gag order in put in place by the judge on lawyers, surviving victims, their families and others connected to the civil case. Downey believes the rules might also apply to the criminal case.

Logic Sells His 185-Song Catalog To Influence Media Partners For Eight Figures

Grammy-nominated rapper Logic has sold his music catalog to Influence Media Partners for an undisclosed amount.

According to a press release, the deal involved the Maryland artist’s publishing rights to his eight mixtapes and eight studio albums, consisting of 185 songs, recorded over at least the last 15 years.

The catalog includes hit songs such as the multi-platinum single “1-800-273-8255” featuring Alessia Cara and Khalid, “EVERYDAY” with Marshmello, “HOMICIDE” featuring Eminem and “6  SUCKER FOR PAIN” with Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Imagine Dragons and Ty Dolla $ign featuring X Ambassadors.

In talking about the eight-figure deal, Logic—who has threatened his retirement several times over the last few years—said, “Making music has always been a creative outlet and a form of therapy for me, and I’ve been humbled by how deeply it has connected with people around the world.

“It’s important to me that the positive messages of my music continue to reach new audiences, and I’m excited to partner with Rene and the Influence Media Partners team to make a further impact through creativity.”

But just because he sold his publishing, doesn’t mean he’s inactive. Logic just dropped his eighth studio album College Park and is embarking on the Logic: The College Park Tour with Special Guest Juicy J.

The sale comes after Logic announced his partnership with the BetterHelp organization. As previously reported, he and the nonprofit will work to help get free therapy to fans in need.

Casanova’s Girlfriend Addresses Alleged Prison Fight, Rapper Shows Off Wound

As news of Casanova’s sentence and a brutal prison fight started making the rounds, people close to the rapper shared their insights on his current status. Among them are his girlfriend Swaggy Jazzy, who took to social media to blast reports he got beat down in jail.

On her Instagram Stories, she addressed a recent cell block rumble between Casanova and another inmate named Ulysses Lugo.

Swaggy Jazzy, whose real name is Jasmere Corbett, clarified some details about the fight. In the middle of June, prison authorities reported he was involved in an altercation and was slashed.

She addressed the quarrel in her story post, writing, “Now that he’s sentenced let me address this. I said they are saying you got buck 50 baby. He video-called me and said they must be talking about that buck 50 you put on my commissary. That boy look good.”

The screenshot was of her and her man chatting on FaceTime. She then added, “Y’all tried it with the buck 50. He got a lil 2 dollars,” seemingly confirming the altercation.

In another screenshot, she wrote, “This the buck 50 y’all speak of? Lol I hate to bring you bad news.”

The third screenshot featured AllHipHop‘s article detailing the court reports about the incident, including how Lugo was cut several times after Casanova and others attacked the man who tried to slice him.

She wrote, “Now stop asking me if Cass good. Ask that n##ga if he good.”

Nicki Minaj Announces New Release Date For “Pink Friday 2” Album

Nicki Minaj has announced the title of her next project, Pink Friday 2, which serves as her first full-length album since 2018’s Queen. But the Barbz will have to wait a few more months to hear it. Minaj revealed in an Instagram post she’s pushed it back to November 17.

“Dear Barbz, I’ve been trying to find the right time to tell you this for a few days,” she told her 222 million followers. “Due to some really exciting news that I’ll share with you guys @ a later time, I’ve shifted the album date just a tad bit. Trust me, it’ll be WELL WORTH THE WAIT…but since I AM shifting the date just a tad, I’d like to give you guys a tiny SIP of some more album tea so that I don’t have to get cussed out so…here it goes: MY NEW ALBUM WILL BE RELEASED ON 11.17.23.”

Nonetheless, you. will. love. this. album. I will give tour deets closer to that time, but obviously the tour will start around the first quarter of 2024. I’ll also share the REAL album cover at a later date.”

Fans (which of course included celebrities and influencers) were more thrilled than upset. The Ultimate Rap League’s Princess NuNu Nellz wrote, “I need a ticket and I can’t play games with Nicki.”

Singer Yebba popped out and said, “My heart is ready.” Another person said, “We love you Chile we gone wait anyway what other choice we got.”

People haven’t had to wait long. Rumors suggest she’ll drop something this summer.

Bun B Ignites Twitter After Claiming Mexicans-Americans Are His Biggest Fans

Bun B is smart and well-versed. The UGK vet recently spoke his mind, claiming Mexican-Americans are his biggest fans. Of course, a great Twitter debate ensued. Needless to mention, the Southern icon thoroughly explained his thoughts—and he had a lot to say.

“If you have a product or present something to the public, nine times out of 10, Mexican-Americans are going to be not only your biggest customer base but also your most consistent customer base,” he said.

Numbers don’t lie. Next, he drove home his point with, “You know what I’m saying. That’s just math.”

Bun B gave a shout out to his most loyal fanbase: “It’s important that we acknowledge their participation and their love for the culture.”

Keep in mind, the lyrical legend is a pillar of Hip-Hop. His artistic acumen is well-respected. Plus, his art and views on society are also routinely appreciated.

Kanye West Suggests Jews Stopped Him From Being President

Kanye West apparently believes he didn’t become president because of “The Jews.” A new documentary, “The Trouble with KanYe,” explores the purported musical genius’s sinister obsession with antisemitic ideology and abuse.

Produced and aired by the BBC, the documentary is made by a fan of his music, Mobeen Azhar, who was curious about how deep Yeezy’s disdain for Jewish people goes. One person he interviewed for the film is tech entrepreneur Alex Klein, a Jewish man who worked with Kanye West on Donda 2.

During a disagreement, Ye said to Klein, “You’re exactly like the other Jews..” Klein allegedly asked him, “Do you really think Jews are working together to hold you back?” The former friend recalls Ye responding by saying, “Yes, yes I do.”

As AllHipHop previously reported, West lost friends like Klein and, of course, lucrative business deals like adidas because of his antisemitic outbursts. According to Klein, the College Dropout rapper continued his rant about the Jews and explained it was “not even a statement that I need to take back because look at all the energy around me right now. Without that statement, I wouldn’t become president.”

The filmmaker said comments like these were interesting to him, prompting him to want to explore “how he’s got to the point that he’s got to.”

Azhar says, “Like many people, I have watched his politics shift, and his views shift in recent years. And I’ve been kind of frustrated, angry, confused by a lot of the things that he’s put out there.”

The “Trouble with KanYe” is on BBC Two and iPlayer.” An accompanying podcast, “The Kanye Story is also available on BBC Sounds.

Big Daddy Kane Wants To Sit Down With Lil Uzi Vert & Kodak Black

There are many Hip Hop aficionados who would place Big Daddy Kane on their list of the culture’s all-time greats. But which emcees make BDK’s Mount Rushmore?

Big Tigger recently spoke to Big Daddy Kane for V-103’s The Big Tigger Morning Show on Audacy. The conversation included the “Ain’t No Half Steppin'” performer naming his personal Top 4 rappers in history.

“If we’re talking during that era of late 80s, early 90s, I would say myself, [KRS-One], Rakim, and [Kool G Rap]. It changes with each era,” said Big Daddy Kane. He added, “There are artists that did great things in their era, so I acknowledge them that way. I mean going all the way back to Melle Mel, Kool Moe Dee, Grandmaster Caz, those cats.”

Big Daddy Kane rose to prominence in the 1980s. The New Yorker released the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) Gold-certified studio albums Long Live the Kane in 1988 and It’s a Big Daddy Thing in 1989.

Marley Marly’s classic 1988 posse cut “The Symphony” featured Masta Ace, Kool G Rap, Craig G, and Big Daddy Kane. That song became extremely influential in Hip Hop with later rappers incorporating elements of “The Symphony” into their own music.

Big Daddy Kane took part in the show-long celebration of Hip Hop’s 50th anniversary at the 2023 BET Awards. The 54-year-old Golden Age representative shared the stage with Kid Capri, The Sugarhill Gang, MC Lyte, and D-Nice.

“To get another 50, I believe that we need to bridge that gap between the older generation and the younger generation,” Kane told Big Tigger. “We had our shot, we did our thing, we’re still around, and we have a fan base that supports us for our catalog. So we’re not trying to threaten the younger generation, not trying to replace them.”

BDK also stated, “I would love to sit down with the likes of like Lil Uzi Vert or Kodak Black or Migos, any of these cats, just to build. I think that’s what’s important when there can be a connection where the past generation can talk with the future generation and give them game.”

According to a press release from the network, this year’s BET Award amassed 2.8 million total views across nine Paramount channels. Around 1.8 million viewers watch the ceremony on BET.

R&B legend Patti Labelle honored Tina Turner, the music icon who passed away on May 24, with a rendition of Turner’s “The Best” song. New York City-bred emcee Busta Rhymes received the Lifetime Achievement Award as well.

Additionally, the Sugarhill Gang, MC Lyte, Big Daddy Kane, Trick Daddy, Trina, Jeezy, T.I., Master P, Erick Sermon, Keith Murray, Redman, Fat Joe, Remy Ma, Fabolous, Styles P, Ja Rule, Swizz Beatz, Kid ‘n Play, Soulja Boy, and many others performed.
