DaBaby Says He “Dropped The F-ing Ball” After Homophobic Controversy

DaBaby regretted how he handled the backlash to his homophobic comments at the 2021 Rolling Loud Festival in Miami. The Interscope Records artist believed he succumbed to public pressure instead of powering through the controversy, telling the Breakfast Club he “dropped the f###### ball.”

“[I] hold myself accountable for the way that I allowed s### to take place over the last four years,” he said. “I could’ve put out a body of work like How TF Is This a Mixtape? immediately after the controversy and boom—trumped all that s###. That’s light. The s### that I done did while being a mainstream artist, while I was the most talked about artist in the game, the s### that I was doing—I don’t even being trying to bring this s### up. I whoop a n####’s ass on camera then go on the cover of Billboard magazine the next day … This s### is public record.”

Multiple festivals dropped DaBaby due to the outrage over his Rolling Loud rant. The controversy contributed to his decline as a mainstream star.

“If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that’ll make you die in two or three weeks, put your cellphone light in the air,” he told the crowd.

Dua Lipa, who collaborated with DaBaby on the song “Levitating,” said she was “horrified” by his remarks. Elton John and Madonna were among the notable artists who publicly condemned the rapper.

“[I allowed] myself to get tricked into being in a space to where I feel like I’m at the mercy of some m############ who don’t understand me as an artist anyway,” DaBaby said on the Breakfast Club. “Because anybody who is a fan of me, they already know it ain’t nothing I can say that’ll throw them off to the point where they [say], ‘Aw, you’re a bad person. I’m turning my back.’ Ain’t no way. I done said worse!”

DaBaby released How TF Is This a Mixtape? in September.

Rich Homie Quan Fans React With Mixed Emotions To Posthumous Album Announcement Via Twitter

Rich Homie Quan fans were startled, to say the least, after the late rapper’s social media accounts announced his forthcoming posthumous release.

On Thursday (October 3), messages announcing the title of Quan’s Forever Goin In album and the tracklist appeared on both the deceased Atlanta rapper’s Instagram and Twitter (X) accounts. In addition to news about the album a story post announced the 35th birthday celebration for Quan at The Bank Event Center in Atlanta where the first 1,0004 people will get in for free.

Furthermore, a post featuring the touching cover art and the tracklist for the album, which includes features from Skilla Baby, Plies, Sukihana and more, a cryptic caption uncovered the multi-layered meaning of the release.

“34 listed songs ironically that’s the age I…,” the caption reads. “Bonus 1 extra, because tomorrow will forever be a celebration! My GIF to my Fans #richhomiequan #richhomiebaby #forevergoinin.”

Several of Quan’s close collaborators paid their respects to the “Lifestyle” rapper in the comments section of the post.

“Cover too hard Quan,” Jacquees wrote.

Sukihana added, “So thankful for this opportunity may your soul rest in peace.”

On the other hand, fans received the new somewhat sheepishly, expressing a mix of concerned and saddened reactions.

“Don’t start this s### ..let that man rest,” one Twitter (X) user remarked while another remarked, “Stop being weird pls… at least say it’s someone else controlling the page.”

In another tweet, a user explained how the release of the project was bittersweet while also revealing the immense grief they’ve felt since Quan’s passing.

“Am gonna cry my eyes out once this album drop cuz av been waiting on this album ever since last year when RHQ was talking about it on vlogs and played a lot of snippets,” the user wrote. “I miss you so much Quan , if there’s heaven, I pray you find your way going there #forevergoingin.”

Rich Homie Quan, whose real name was Dequantes Lamar, died on September 5. The Fulton County Medical Examiner determined Rich Homie Quan died of an accidental overdose. His cause of death was the combined effects of fentanyl, alprazolam (Xanax), codeine and promethazine, per TMZ.

Ralo & Kenny Muney Squash Young Dolph Beef: “Grown Man Business”

Ralo reconciled with Kenny Muney after getting called out for comments about Young Dolph. Ralo said he talked to Kenny Muney, one of Young Dolph’s artists, to resolve their issues in an Instagram Stories post.

“My brother @kennymuney told me how he felt and he was right,” he wrote. “What’s understood ain’t gotta be explained we following each other back bih!! #PREFAMGOON BUSINESS.”

Kenny Muney responded, “That’s grown man business when u can admit u wrong,” he wrote. “I know yo love for Dolph pure just remember the part we talked about.”

Earlier this week, Ralo condemned Boosie Badazz for praising Yo Gotti. Ralo believed Boosie was disrespectful considering revelations from the Young Dolph murder trial. The public learned Yo Gotti’s brother Big Jook put a $100,000 hit on Young Dolph, who was shot and killed in 2021.

Kenny Muney didn’t appreciate Ralo’s attempt to defend Young Dolph’s honor. The Paper Route Empire artist said he lost respect for Ralo.

“All that playing click bait or whatever y’all call that s### in the name of my n#### it only last so long!!” Kenny Muney wrote. “It’s real [blood], sweat n tears behind [Young Dolph]. Y’all want whatever it is y’all want but y’all ain’t tryna get no straightening bout my n####. Quit speaking on speaking on situations wit them folks on the other side cause it ain’t a game!! If anybody know @youngdolph he don’t give a damn what nobody else doing or who f##### wit who let my n#### rest!!”

He added, “If you love Dolph, love him, hold his legacy but quit speaking on beef. Quit speaking on street s### unless u on dirt cause we the ones gotta face it later.”

Justin Johnson, one of Young Dolph’s killers, was convicted of murder in September. Johnson was sentenced to life in prison.

Hernandez Govan, the alleged mastermind behind Young Dolph’s murder, is due back in court on October 9. Cornelius Smith, who admitted to killing Young Dolph with Johnson, is scheduled to return to court in November.

Swizz Beatz Accused Of Receiving Millions Of Dollars In Stolen Funds

Swizz Beatz was accused of receiving more than $7 million linked to the 1MDB scandal in a lawsuit filed in New York on Wednesday (October 2). According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, liquidators sued the producer for intentional fraudulent conveyance, constructive fraudulent conveyance and unjust enrichment.

The 1MDB scandal is one of the biggest corruption scandals in the world. Authorities say billions of dollars were stolen from the Malaysian state fund 1MDB in a scheme involving fugitive businessman Jho Lo, his associate Eric Tan and others.

Fugees member Pras Michel was convicted on multiple charges for orchestrating an unregistered, back-channel campaign to get U.S. officials to stop investigating Low’s crimes. Low and his associates allegedly gave $7.3 million in stolen funds to Swizz Beatz, whose real name is Kasseem Dean.

“As the 1MDB Fraud was underway, Jho Low became a well-known figure in the Hollywood scene and developed a reputation as a businessman with deep pockets and a penchant for hosting lavish, star-studded parties and group vacations,” the lawsuit read. “Throughout the early 2010s, Low befriended many U.S. celebrities including Dean and his wife Alicia Keys.

Liquidators sued Swizz Beatz to recoup funds obtained from Affinity Equity International Partners Limited and Alsen Chance Holdings Limited, which were linked to the 1MDB scandal. Both companies were placed in liquidation proceedings in the British Virgin Islands.

“Between September 21, 2012 and September 4, 2014, Jho Low and/or Eric Tan caused the debtors to transfer $7,300,000 to defendants and, during that same time period, the debtors did not receive any money back from the defendants or any other consideration from the defendants in exchange for the fraudulent transfers,” the lawsuit explained. “Consequently, a net amount of $7,300,000 was conveyed from the debtors to the defendants.”

Alsen Chance gave $1.5 million to Swizz Beatz Productions Inc. in September 2012. Payments of $1 million and $800,000 were sent in October 2012.

Affinity sent $800,000 to Swizz Beatz’s Monza Studios in November 2013 and $1 million in December 2013. Swizz Beatz received $500,000 in June 2014, $300,000 in July 2014 and $1.4 million in September 2014.

Alsen Chance and Affinity were incorporated under the BVI Companies Act. The BVI Court appointed liquidators to both companies “as part of the global asset recovery efforts for the benefit of the debtors’ creditors, being 1MDB and SRC International, and therefore ultimately the people of Malaysia.”

The liquidators sought $3.3 million in damages from Swizz Beatz Productions, $2.2 million from the producer and $1.8 million from Monza Studios. The plaintiffs also requested money for attorneys’ fees and other court costs.

Diddy Secretly Recorded “Freak Offs” To Blackmail Celebrities, Accuser Claims

A woman accusing Sean “Diddy” Combs of grooming her is speaking out in a new interview, naming some of the A-List celebrities at his parties and claiming he would secretly record “Freak off” participants for blackmail purposes.

Shortly before Diddy’s arrest, Adria English filed both a lawsuit and criminal complaint accusing Diddy of grooming her into sex trafficking. She claimed he used her as “a sexual pawn for the pleasure and financial benefit of others” at his White Parties.  English also alleged she was sexually assaulted and plied with alcohol laced with drugs at the parties, among other allegations.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, English opened up about Diddy’s famed “White Parties,” alleging she was trafficked to attendees over a five-year period. English claimed she had sex with some of the celebrities but didn’t name them.

Famous guests at these parties in Diddy homes in the Hamptons and Miami included Donald Trump, Ja Rule, Busta Rhymes and Reverend Al Sharpton. She spotted Diana Ross at one bash with her son, Evan, who was a minor at the time.

According to English, “Freak Offs” were held away from the main bash, and many guests were oblivious to their existence.

“He would send them in a room with me or another sex worker, record it, and then hold that over that celebrity or that influential person’s head and then basically use me,” English told the outlet. “It was like high-class temping, if you will.”

She added, “He orchestrated it, he commanded it, he lined it up, he expected it, he manipulated it. He got money and yachts and planes all around the world based on me doing these favors.”

English claims Diddy secretly recorded sexual encounters to “blackmail everyone that he wanted a favor from or to keep at bay.”

Earlier this week, AllHipHop reported English was dropped by her attorneys, who claimed her “conflicting instructions” make it “unreasonably difficult” to represent her.

Diddy’s legal team denied the allegations.

“As we’ve said from the start, anyone can file a lawsuit without proof — and this case is a clear example of that,” the spokesperson said. “Adria English escalated things by filing false police reports and making baseless claims, using high-profile events as a backdrop to harm innocent people. No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted, or sex trafficked anyone.”

Diddy remains in custody at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center following his arrest last month. He pleaded not guilty to three charges: racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. His legal team is attempting a third time at bail.

Future Accused Of Dissing Gunna On A$AP Ferg’s “Allure” Single

Future is feeding his fans new music ahead of his upcoming Mixtape Pluto project, and his latest offering appears to include a shot at Gunna.

The tension seemingly arose between the former collaborators earlier this year, after Future took a shot at Gunna amid his album release, leaving fans of the pair perplexed. At the time, multiple rappers publicly dissed Gunna, accusing him of snitching on Young Thug after he accepted an Alford plea in the YSL RICO trial.

Fast forward several months later, and Future appears to be back at it again. However, this time the sub was more sinister. On Friday (October 4), A$AP Ferg released his new single “Allure” featuring Future.

In the verse, Future alludes to the plea deal, referring to Young Thug as “my slime,” before suggesting it could cost the “fukumean’ hitmaker his life.

“You done took a plea on my slime,” Future raps. “Won’t be surprised if you ended up dead.”

Fans React To Future Dissing Gunna

However, the diss wasn’t well received by some fans on social media.

“Future needs to stop dissing gunna and hop back in the studio with him man,” one person shared. “Nobody cares.”

“Future, I love bro but if anything happens to Gunna we gon have a problem,” a second user wrote.

Meanwhile, a third was annoyed that the Atlanta rappers might never collaborate again.

“Gunna and Future beefing means we never getting a song like Street Sweeper ever again,” they said.

In May, they set tongues wagging after Future announced he would drop a mixtape on the same day Gunna was set to drop One of Wun

“F### yo album S### ain’t slappin like my MIXTAPE,” Future wrote. “MAY TENTH. MIXTAPE PLUTO.”

Gunna responded, “Turn this s### bac up Notch……! F## What These boys talkin bout.”

Diddy’s Ex-Bodyguard Claims He’s Being Targeted For Refusing To Testify Against Diddy

A former Bad Boy Records bodyguard Joseph “Big Joe” Sherman accused of sexually assaulting a woman with Diddy at his Bad Boy studios in New York in 2001 claims he’s being made a scapegoat because he refused to be a witness against the Hip-Hop mogul.

Sherman denies knowing Thalia Graves who claims the duo drugged and raped her over two decades ago. She also alleged the assault was filmed and the footage was later shopped as pornography.

In a new interview, Sherman maintained his innocence, insisting he wasn’t in the city at the time of the alleged attack.

“I am not questioning her integrity. I am just questioning her claims against me,” Sherman told News 4 New York. “You got the wrong man. I wasn’t even in the same room with you, I have never seen you. I wasn’t even in New York that I recall at the time.”

Furthermore, Sherman claims he wasn’t employed by Diddy in 2001 but did security for Bad Boy in the 1990s.

“Her and whoever she’s in cahoots with was orchestrating a money grab. And she wanted me to be part of that money grab,” he said. She wanted to get Diddy,” he said.

Sherman Claims He was Asked To Be A Witness Against Diddy

Sherman showed the outlet Instagram DMs reportedly linked to Graves, starting in November 2023.

He was asked to confirm if he was “Big Joe” before being told to call a number.

“If you will be my witness against Diddy, then my attorneys will leave you out of any proceedings,” the text read. “Because we have statements that you physically showed over eight people videos of me and you to people in the studio.”

Sherman replied, “I don’t know what the f### you talking about [or] know who the f### you are.”

He told News 4 New York: “I am nothing but a scapegoat for this BS because I wouldn’t lie on Puffy.”

After filing her lawsuit, Graves spoke at a press conference alongside her attorney Gloria Allred.

“The internal pain after being sexually assaulted has been incredibly deep and hard to put into words,” Graves said. “It goes beyond just the physical harm caused during the assault. It’s a pain that reaches into the very core of who I am leaving emotional scars that may never fully heal.”

DDG Taunted By Halle Bailey Fans As USHER Dragged Into Split News

DDG is catching heat online as Halle Bailey fans react to news of their spilt, with many dragging USHER into the equation after the former couple recently attended the singer’s concert.

On Thursday (October 3), the rapper and content creator announced he parted ways with the R&B singer. DDG said the split was an amicable one, he and Bailey still consider each other as “best friends” and are focused on co-parenting their son Halo, who turns one in December. As the news broke, fans flocked to social media with their reaction, with many taunting DDG over the split.

“imagine fumbling halle bailey,” one user shared alongside an image of The Little Mermaid actress.

“The moment DDG said he wasn’t going to married Halle anytime soon I just their relationship wasn’t going to last,” said another.

“all ddg did was embarrass halle for years,’ a third person said. “i was almost convinced she’d be stuck with him forever after all those my man tweets.”

Meanwhile, USHER began trending as users joked that he was to blame for their split. The former couple went viral last week after a clip of DDG blocking USHER from feeding Halle Bailey cherries circulated online.

Similarly, fans blamed the R&B icon for Keke Palmer’s split from her boyfriend after she attended his Las Vegas residency. Darius Jackson publicly shamed Palmer for wearing a sheer outfit, and the couple separated shortly after.

“put the blame on Usher,” one person wrote following DDG’s announcement. “Usher trippin, he tried feeding Halle Bailey cherries and DDG and Halle Bailey broke up.”

“Usher strikes again,’ said another user. “Halle Bailey is prolly driving 150 miles for that cherry as we speak.”

Lil Durk Ruthlessly Mocked Over “Power Book II: Ghost” Season Finale Appearance

Lil Durk is going viral after making his return to STARZ’s Power Book II: Ghost for the season four finale.

The Chicago rapper made his acting debut during episode nine of the popular show last week. He was back as a gun-toting avenger in the gripping finale, and social media users were having a field day, sharing stills of Lil Durk in action.

“This is the stance of a man who don’t do the s### he rap about,” one person wrote.

“Why does the only person that’s really came from the trenches look so uncomfortable?” questioned another.

A third took roasted the show generally, but Lil Durk also caught a stray.

“You know that the show has reached an irreparable level of trash when they start tossing random rappers in the cast,” a third person stated. “LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.”

Nonetheless, Lil Durk simultaneously continued the rollout for his upcoming project, Love Songs 4 The Streets 3, while referencing his Power Book II: Ghost appearance.

“We getting back for monet @ midnight,” Lil Durk captioned his post. “We dropping for the streets @ midnight stay woke.”

The unverified list also includes features from Sabrina Carpenter, Morgan Wallan and popular streamers Kai Cenat and iShowSpeed.

Cardi B Gets Candid About Offset Split Amid Reunion Rumors: “Everything Is Dead”

Cardi B is setting the record straight after Offset’s appearance in his estranged wife’s studio set tongues wagging.

On Thursday (October 3), the Migos rapper hopped on Instagram Live. However, fans soon noticed he was in Cardi B’s home studio, sparking rumors the former couple were working things out despite being on their third shot at a divorce

Nonetheless, Cardi B refused to let the speculation linger. She also took to Instagram Live to dismiss any notion of a reconciliation. She clarified that while the pair occupy the same home, she refuses to entertain any intimacy.

“One thing I don’t want to entertain is, ‘Oh we’re in the same crib. Come upstairs, let’s sleep together,'” she explained. “I don’t want to entertain that, because that’s what keep us being in the same trap.

“It’s like, oh we sleep together, we cuddling. The next day we smiling, and then guess what? The same day we arguing and then we back in that cycle.”

Last week, the former couple traded shots online in a fiery exchange amid cheating allegations. Offset accused Cardi B of sleeping with another man while pregnant, and Cardi claimed he’s been unfaithful multiple times.

Cardi B Talks Co-Parenting With Offset

While Cardi B admitted the split is difficult, especially on their three children, she’s confident the family will “slowly but surely” adjust to the separation. Cardi acknowledged that their kids will have to adapt to their father not collecting them from school daily or being there when they arrive home.

“It’s kind of hard and I don’t even want to talk about it because I don’t want to get emotional,” she added. “But it’s kind of hard when as an adult you going to get used to a certain type of lifestyle without being with somebody, but it’s also kind of hard for your kids to get used to that. So it’s like slowly but surely, that has to happen.”

Cardi B also emphasized the need for Offset to be present in their newborn daughter’s life. The couple welcomed the baby on September 7. “I don’t ever want my little baby to get used to like my dad, or get used to my cousin,” she added. ‘It just like it takes time and I don’t know how to explain it but everything is dead.”

From Rap God To GrandPaw: Slim Shady’s Gone But Grandpa Eminem Is Here

Eminem just dropped a bomb bigger than Slim Shady’s death. He’s got a new name: grandpa. Yes, you read that right. Eminem is about to be a grandfather.

In a new video for The Death of Slim Shady track “Temporary,” Eminem revealed that his daughter, Hailie Jade, is expecting with her husband. He crafted a cinematic tribute to their daddy-daughter bond that’ll make even the toughest Hip-Hop heads cry. The pictures in the video go back to 1999 during the early days of Eminem’s rise. Other clips show Hailie’s wedding, which took place in May.

In the video, Hailie proudly hands her dad a custom jersey with “GRANDPA” stitched on the back.

Hailie confirmed her pregnancy shortly after the video dropped, but you know that because you read AllHipHop all day.

Eminem’s Gone Crazy: Daughter Hailie Drops Bombshell

Eminem, now 51, has literally been writing songs about her since the beginning of his career. Tracks like “Hailie’s Song” and “Mockingbird” were odes to his daughter. “Temporary” has him promising to be her guardian angel from beyond. Slim Shady might be gone, but Grandpa Marshall is here to stay.

Jaguar Wright Vs. Star: Wild Interview Turns Into War Of Words

I didn’t know a bludgeoning could happen with only words. But that is what happened earlier this week.

Jaguar Wright and Star (yeah, THAT Star from the Star & Buc Wild Show went all the way left on Thursday (October 3), and it wasn’t pretty. What should’ve been a regular ol’ interview turned into a straight-up war of words. The two were going at each other hard, with name-calling and all kinds of madness. I didn’t catch the whole thing, but I peeped some of it online—and trust, it got wild real quick.

Did you hear her spouse? He had nothing at all!

All of this was a result of Jaguar Wright’s interview on Piers Morgan’s show, which effectively put her off the Dark Web and into the mainstream. She was dropping well-known, trending names like Diddy, JAY-Z and Beyoncé.

But if you ask me, the whole interview was kinda trash. She was throwing out accusations with no receipts. On top of that, she claimed to know some victims. But honestly? She didn’t add anything new to the drama. She might even be a part of the distraction agenda.

The wildest part to me is that she’s out here leveling up. She’s no longer stuck in the dark corners of the web—she’s on mainstream platforms now. Thanks, Piers. Piers might not be as deep in the mainstream as he once was, but he’s still a big deal. I’m low-key wondering what made him put her on. Definitely something to think about.

It’s crazy how these platforms can elevate folks, but the real question is—what are they actually bringing to the table? Something to watch as these stories keep unfolding.

But shout out to Star. He went buckwild. Here’s that whole interview. Enjoy. By the way, what’s up with DJ Vlad’s hair?

DDG Reveals He & Halle Bailey Have Decided To Go Their “Separate Ways”

DDG and Halle Bailey have reportedly broken up.

In a post he shared to his Instagram Story on Thursday (October 3), the “Why/Arguments PT. 2” rapper announced that he and Bailey had mutually agreed to “separate ways” a lengthy heartfelt message. Though the announcement may have come as a surprise to some of his fans, the couple themselves apparently decided to separate.

“Dear friends and supporters after much reflection and heartfelt conversations Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways, DDG wrote in the post. “This decision was not easy, but we believe it’s the best path for both of us. I cherish the time we spent together and the love we’ve shared.”

The split was apparently an amicable one, considering DDG says he and Bailey still consider each other as “best friends” and will remain holding each other in high regard throughout the transition.

“Despite the changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true,” he wrote. “We are still best friends and adore each other as we focus on our individual journeys and our roles as co-parent we cherish the bond we built and the beautiful moments we’ve shared as we navigate to transition we asked for your understanding and support. “

News of the couple’s official break up follows somewhat of a melodramatic uptick in their visibility in the public eye. In February 2023 DDG denied rumors he and Bailey were breaking up after Rubi Rose leaked alleged direct messages accusing the Michigan-bred artist of trying to hook up with her amid an argument with Bailey. Last September, Bailey seemingly affirmed her commitment to DDG in an interview with Cosmopolitan in which she spoke about how much their relationship meant to her.

“Love has been a really big one for me too, because that’s something I’m experiencing for the first time, and it’s, like, ‘Whoa’ in your brain. It’s just fireworks, a spark for creativity,” Bailey said. “You know, you have puppy love experiences, you think that’s love. But this is my first deep, deep, real love.”

While Halle Bailey hasn’t released a statement on their breakup as of time of publication, it appears as though she’s surrounded by loved ones during this difficult time. In a post she shared to her Instagram story hours before DDG shared his announcement, Bailey shared a tribute to her baby brother along with images of her and her family celebrating his 19th birthday.

Drake Trolled By FashionNova Over Metro Boomin “BBL Drizzy” Diss—Social Media Can’t Get Enough

Drake is seemingly being targeted by the fast-fashion industry, and as a result, social media trolls are taking full advantage of the moment.

Popular online retailer FashionNova is trending on social platforms such as Twitter (X) after users discovered what appears to be a product on their website that throws shade at Drake over Metro Boomin’s viral “BBL Drizzy” diss beat in an ad for a new sale item titled “BBL Booty Butt Pad Costume Accessory.”

It appears as though the ad for the product uses a model who’s styled in an outfit parodying Drake’s look from the video for “8am in Charlotte” from the For All The Dogs album. As if the fake BBL butt pad wasn’t enough of an indication that the ad was taking a shot at Drizzy, the hairstyle pinned with the colorful hair clips paired with a sweatshirt that appears to read Papi, possibly referencing Drake’s Instagram handle, was a sure-fire signal of the smoke.

As expected, Twitter users quickly picked up on the images of the FashionNova product and ran rampant with the narrative throughout the timeline.

“Ok I changed my mind, Meek definitely ain’t have it this bad [crying laughing face emoji],” one user wrote in a quoted reply of the screenshots of the butt pad ad.

Several users speculated whether there would be legal ramifications for the stunt, considering how blatantly it appears the ad is disparaging Drake’s likeness.

“Yeah gone head and sue em Drake,” another user chimed in, to which an additional tweet added, “Now if Drake sue tf out of Fashion Nova he ain’t wrong lol.”

One user noted how the ad proves that Metro Boomin wasn’t a slouch himself when it came to responding to shots Drake sent at him amid his rap battle with Kendrick Lamar earlier this year.

“Everyone talks about how Kendrick defeated Drake but every now and then you get a reminder that Metro got a good couple jabs in,” the user remarked.

While it’s unclear whether or not if there will be legal repercussions for FashionNova over this product, it wouldn’t be surprising if Drake used this to his advantage. If you’ll recall, a mere weeks after Metro released the “BBL Drizzy” instrumental and initiated the song challenge, Drake hopped on the beat during his feature on Sexyy Red’s fan-favorite track “You My Everything” and proceeded to rap about buying BBL’s for women he’s dated.

SIGNS: Canadian DoorDash Driver Fined After He’s Filmed Spitting In Customer’s Drink

A former DoorDash driver in Canada was banned from the platform after allegedly being caught on video tampering with a customer’s order.

The stomach-turning incident making waves across social media has exposed how a DoorDash driver in Toronto was caught spitting in a customer’s Booster Juice order. The shocking video, originally shared by 6ixbuzz, shows the moment the delivery driver committed the disgusting act before dropping off the tainted drink at the customer’s doorstep.

But what the driver didn’t count on was the customer watching the entire scene unfold live on his camera. The furious father, who had ordered the juice for his two-year-old son, immediately confronted the driver as he attempted to make the delivery.

“This is for my two-year-old son, why would you spit in my drink?” the man demanded, to which the driver sheepishly replied, “I’m so sorry, sir.”

Not satisfied with the vague apology, the customer pressed further, asking, “Why? I want to know why you did it.”

The driver, visibly rattled, could only muster a confused, “I don’t know.” At this point, things took an even more bizarre turn when the customer revealed he had apparently overcompensated the driver.

“We tipped you, what’s the problem?” the man questioned the driver.

Desperate to defuse the situation, the driver tried to downplay the situation due to the fact that he had passengers with him on the delivery.

“No problem, sir,” he said. “My kids are in my car.”

In a heated moment, the customer dared the driver to drink his own spit-filled beverage, which the driver swiftly refused. He even tried denying that he had tampered with the seal, but the customer wasn’t buying it, having the whole incident on camera. The video ends with the customer flagging down police to intercept the driver before he left his home.

As the video gained traction online, DoorDash Canada was forced to step in and address the shocking behavior. In a statement issued to Now Toronto, a spokesperson for the company slammed the driver’s actions, calling it “completely unacceptable.”

“DoorDash does not condone any tampering with customer orders, as food safety is one of our top priorities. The Dasher in question has been deactivated from our platform and the customer has been compensated for this appalling experience,” the statement read. DoorDash also reassured the public they are “reaching out to the customer directly to offer further support.”

Diddy’s Case Mysteriously Reassigned To New Judge

A new judge was assigned to Diddy’s criminal case in New York on Thursday (October 3). Judge Arun Subramanian replaced Judge Andrew Carter, per court records.

No reason was given for Judge Carter’s exit. A Courthouse News reporter said Carter frequently recuses himself from cases because his wife is a lawyer for the Bank of New York Mellon and worked for JPMorgan Chase. Legal affairs journalist Meghann Cuniff noted Judge Carter hinted at finding a replacement at Diddy’s September 18 bail hearing.

“If I can’t try it, I’ll find a colleague who can if you want to set a trial date,” the judge told Diddy’s lawyer Marc Agnifilo.

Diddy was arrested for sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution in September. He pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Two judges, including Carter, denied bail to Diddy. The incarcerated mogul, whose real name is Sean Combs, faces up to life in prison if convicted.

“For decades, Sean Combs … abused, threatened and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation and conceal his conduct,” his indictment explained. “To do so, Combs relied on the employees, resources and influence of the multi-faceted business empire that he led and controlled—creating a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in and attempted to engage in, among other crimes, sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice.”

Diddy was indicted after multiple lawsuits accused him of sexual assault and sex trafficking, among other claims. Attorney Tony Buzbee announced he’s representing at least 120 more alleged victims who plan to sue the Hip-Hop mogul.

According to Buzbee, one of Diddy’s victims was a 9-year-old boy. Diddy’s legal team said he “emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.”

Beanie Sigel Pushes Voting With Mobilize Justice & AAPI Victory Fund

Algernon Billups talks to Beanie Sigel, Lihn Nguyen and Dr. Yusef about voting and more.

Philly legend Beanie Sigel has partnered with Mobilize Justice and the AAPI Victory Fund to engage with various communities about the importance of active participation in the voting process. Mobilize Justice is a movement dedicated to inspiring millions affected by violence to become informed and engaged in both local and national politics. The AAPI Victory Fund focuses on empowering Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders to vote and make their voices heard.

Recently, these two impactful organizations facilitated critical conversations within the Detroit community, addressing challenges and concerns surrounding participation in the upcoming election. Beanie Sigel and Wayno met with local residents and some of the city’s top influencers to discuss how they can leverage their platforms to underscore the importance of voting. Mobilize Justice and the AAPI Victory Fund are currently planning to expand these community meetings to other markets, including North Carolina, Virginia, and Pennsylvania.

AllHipHop correspondent Algernon had the honor of joining a Zoom conversation with Beanie Sigel, AAPI Victory Fund COO Lihn Nguyen, Senior Advisor Nick Rathod, and Michigan Roundtable Co-Executive Director Dr. Yusef to discuss the exciting details of this remarkable initiative.

AllHipHop: I appreciate you all for taking the time to speak with us about this important initiative. Let us know if it gets too loud; we’re also running a listening session right now. To start, can you give us some background on what AAPI Victory Fund is doing in Detroit?

Lihn Nguyen (AAPI Victory Fund COO): Absolutely. AAPI Victory Fund is focused on engaging with Asian-American Pacific Islanders and the entire Asian immigrant community across the country. We’re here in Detroit, on the ground in Michigan, working alongside Mobilize Justice. Our hope is to engage with real people—artists, influencers, and community leaders—to get a temperature check on how people feel about the upcoming election. There’s a lot happening, and this is one of the toughest years we’ve had to think about voting.

AllHipHop: Beanie, how did you get involved with Mobilize Justice?

Beanie Sigel: I was brought into Mobilize Justice by a friend and family member, Marvin Bing. He brought me into this space as a credible messenger. Marvin believes, and I do too, that when engaging with the youth and trying to empower them, we need credible voices that speak their language. That’s how I came aboard—to share my platform and engage in dialogue with young people and those impacted by the justice system, in a way they can understand.

AllHipHop: Beanie, especially given your experience in the trenches, why is this initiative important to you as an artist?

Beanie Sigel: As an artist, I believe we have a responsibility to engage with the people we connect with through our music. Often, the content we put out reflects the struggles we’ve seen or experienced. But being on the other side now, I realize that those closest to the problem are closest to the solution. We have to use our platforms to promote positive change and to speak directly to the issues affecting our communities.

AllHipHop: For anyone in the community who feels their vote doesn’t count, what would you say to them about why this election is important?

Dr. Yusef (Michigan Roundtable Co-Executive Director): That’s right. We control the power within our communities and within ourselves, but we’ve been deprived of seeing that power because of what we’ve experienced historically in this country. Voting is part of a broader toolset for advocating and organizing. When we combine grassroots efforts with policy, we create a powerful platform. Hip-hop artists are often called upon during elections because of the influence they have, and it’s time we recognize and harness that power for our communities.

AllHipHop: What do you think other artists in the culture should be doing to encourage their communities to vote?

Beanie Sigel: A lot of artists may not know how much power they have. When they reach a certain status, they might feel like they’ve made it and forget that their voice matters. I think they should use their platforms to connect with their communities and think about what life was like before they were successful. It’s about educating the future leaders—the youth—so they know their vote isn’t just about choosing between two people; it’s about impacting their communities on a ground level.

AllHipHop: Finally, where can people find out more about this initiative and how they can get involved?

Lihn Nguyen: The best place to reach us is on Instagram. You can find Mobilize Justice at @mobilizejustice and AAPI Victory Fund at @aapivictoryfund. Drop us a DM; we’re very online, and that’s the best way to tap in with us.

Lil Pump Sued After He’s Accused Of Trying To Force Man To Eat Condom

Lil Pump was sued over his involvement in streamer Vitaly Zdorovetskiy’s controversial “Catching Predators” stings. According to court documents obtained by In Touch Weekly, a man named Edwin Valenzuela accused Lil Pump and Zdorovetskiy of assault, battery, false imprisonment and theft.

Zdorovetskiy hosted an online series in which he purportedly caught and humiliated child predators. The series was reminiscent of NBC’s To Catch a Predator, but no law enforcement was involved in Zdorovetskiy’s production.

“Rather than turn the alleged predators over to law enforcement, Vitaly and his associates beat, harass, torture, terrorize, defame and humiliate the alleged predators on a livestream,” Valenzuela’s lawsuit noted.

Lil Pump participated in more than one of Zdorovetskiy’s stings. Valenzuela was caught during an August livestream but claimed he was tricked into showing up with a job offer.

Valenzuela, an Uber driver, said he was approached by two males who asked for a ride. They chatted during the trip, used his phone to play Lil Pump’s music and asked Valenzuela if he was interested in earning money by cleaning a boat. He gave them his number and they contacted him later, per the lawsuit.

Zdorovetskiy and others allegedly lured Valenzuela onto a boat. Zdorovetskiy, Lil Pump and UFC fighter Colby Covington ambushed Valenzuela. The plaintiff said fake messages were read aloud to make it look like he had sexual conversations with minors.

Valenzuela said he was confused because he didn’t speak English. Zdorovetskiy asked Lil Pump to talk to the man since the rapper knows Spanish.

“Throughout the ordeal, plaintiff was bombarded by verbal abuse, including racial slurs, accusations of illegal status and threats of deportation with multiple defendants screaming in his face, all while being urged by an attorney to sign a release for a ‘game show,’” the lawsuit contended.

Lil Pump allegedly punched and kicked Valenzuela, cut the man’s hair and hit the plaintiff in the face with a condom. The lawsuit accused Lil Pump of trying to force Valenzuela to eat a condom and threatening to feed the victim to alligators.

Valenzuela said he was banned from Uber, his main source of income, after the ordeal. He sued Lil Pump, Zdorovetskiy and Covington for unspecific damages.

Did GloRilla Subtweet Damian Lillard Following Awkward NBA Media Day Interview Clip?

Damian Lillard appeared to shoot down rumors and speculation about his relationship with GloRilla being anything but business-related in a brief but blunt clip circulating on social media.

During the NBA’s Media Day, Milwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard appeared to be caught off guard when he asked a question about “TGIF” rapper GloRilla. More specifically, a rogue reporter brought up the fact that GloRilla had recently “shot her shot” at Lillard, asking if he was considering giving the rapper any attention in return.

“It’s 7PM Friday,” the reporter joked, acknowledging the humor of the situation

“I’m weak,” Damian Lillard responded. “That is hilarious.” Lillard quickly deflected the question, at first, before somewhat addressing the matter more directly.

“Nah, I ain’t — I keep my personal life personal and I’ll let it be that,” he said. “I respect her as an artist. We know each other.”

As Lillard continued, he attempted to kill off the conversation about he and Big Glo for good by affirming that “nothing” had blossomed between them.

“She’s an artist, I’m an artist, but as far as anything else, it ain’t nothing going on,” he said. “That’s what I can tell.”

Though one would think the fact that Lillard took the modest and respectful route and didn’t speak about GloRilla in any way other than professionally is commendable, it seems like maybe the Memphis rapper took offense to his answer. In a tweet she shared just days after Lillard’s response to the question went viral, Big Glo seemingly sent a subliminal shot at Dame time.

“I seen yo whole roster & ion think nunna dem hoes can fwm,” GloRilla wrote in the tweet.

Though it can’t be confirmed whether or not the tweet was meant for, or even sent for Lillard, reading between the lines makes it hard to give this one the benefit of the doubt. None of her lyrics directly reflect the tweet and it’s almost like she was taking a jab at Lillard’s career as a professional athlete by referencing a “roster” in the message. Can’t forget to mention that Kay’La Lillard, the estranged wife of Lillard, decided to take a jab at GloRilla for her DUI situation back in April, after Big Glo publicly thirsted over him in February.
