J Prince Slams YSL Trial Prosecutor & Lil Woody Over Young Thug Comparison

J Prince slammed Lil Woody and Fulton County Deputy District Attorney Simone Hylton after his name was mentioned during the ongoing YSL RICO trial.

On Monday evening (August 26), the Rap-A-Lot Records founder shared a clip of the controversial defendant’s testimony. In the clip, the prosecutor questions Kenneth Copeland, better known as Lil Woody, about his remarks in a police interview.

Hylton asked Woody if he recalled saying Young Thug was trying to be the J Prince of Atlanta. “I guess,” he replied before adding that he doesn’t know who J Prince is. When the prosecutor questioned why he made the remark if he didn’t know who J Prince was, Woody repeated his claims that he lied to authorities.

“I told you for the 10th time,” he stated. “I’m gonna tell the police anything, and that’s what I did.”

While J Prince was not surprised that Wood referenced him, he was furious with the prosecutor, who he accused of “Black-on-Black racism.”

“Nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to fake-ass people putting my name in their mouth,” he captioned his post. “But I still find it very interesting how some prosecutors will go above and beyond the call of duty to try and destroy a man’s life for being inspired by a successful Black entrepreneur like myself. Btw, Black-on-Black racism feels the worst.”

Lil Woody Admits Lying To Authorities

Earlier this month, Lil Woody testified that he fabricated stories about Young Thug’s involvement in criminal activities.

“The police kept locking me up for whatever they could,” he said. “Every time I counted the door, the police was on me, and they keep bringing up Thug’s name. So what I did was to get ’em out off me, I said, ‘Thug did this. Thug did that. Thug,’ because I knew they were—I knew he didn’t do it.”

Drake Ignores The Weeknd In Awkward Resurfaced 100 Gigs Video

Drake recently dropped off another batch of previously unreleased content, including a clip featuring The Weeknd that fans believe proves tension has existed between them for over a decade.

The latest 100 gigs drop included footage from backstage at the OVO Fest in 2013. One clip shows Drake dapping up everybody in the room and talking to them while completely ignoring The Weeknd. The video goes on for about a minute, with Drake joking about his performance before he finally acknowledges The Weeknd.

Social media users say the clip shows signs of the long-rumored tension between the Toronto artists.

“Now I understand why Abel hates him,” one person shared. Another added, “Drake is literally the high school geek/loser that “made it”. This is so rude and awkward.”

A third said, “I hate this type of passive aggressive behavior. Tryna alienate one person by engaging with everyone else around them. Invading their personal space while refusing to acknowledge them.. standing hella close & then looking like.. oh, hey there pal.. that’s how they try to son you.”

Others focused on The Weeknd, insisting his demeanor in the video proves he’s always hated Drake.

“nah the weeknd’s hate toward drake been building forever you could see the emotions running thru him like hulkamania in this video,” one user said. ‘He been waiting to snap on drake his entire career lmfaooooooooooo.”

The Weeknd was rumored to have dissed Drake on Future and Metro Boomin’s We Still Don’t Trust You album in April. Drizzy seemingly fired back on Push Ups.

Review: A.T.L.D.V. Takes Visual Storytelling To A New Level with Music Video “Screamin”

A.T.L.D.V.’s new music video for “Screamin” is a visual feast, enhancing the song’s narrative with breathtaking cinematography and a unique harem-based set design created from the continued growing relationship with video director Trey Lamarr.

The dramatic lighting sets the mood perfectly, creating an atmosphere that is both intimate and grand. The sensual dance routine, led by Amy Christine, is a highlight, with choreography that is as expressive as it is captivating.

The introduction to the music video is a standout feature, with special effects that transport viewers into an Indiana Jones-themed adventure. A.T.L.D.V. band members Ike Nyce & Nako Devincci’s performances, combined with the genie bottle special effects, create a magical and thrilling prelude to the main video. It’s a creative touch that adds an extra layer of excitement and sets the stage beautifully.

The featured artist on the song, April Sampe’s portrayal of the seductress is nothing short of mesmerizing. Her chemistry with her two male co-actors is palpable, and she brings a powerful mix of allure and intensity to her role. A.T.L.D.V. band member Amy Christine, on the other hand, shines as the dominatrix, commanding the screen with her presence and her dynamic interactions with her co-actors. Both artists excel in their roles, adding depth and dimension to the video.

Overall, the “Screamin” music video is a true accomplishment in visual storytelling. Its combination of stunning cinematography, innovative set design, and compelling performances makes it a perfect companion to the song. It’s a must-watch that elevates the single to new heights, solidifying “Screamin” as a landmark release in the contemporary R&B genre.

EXCLUSIVE: VV$ Diamond Claims BossMan Dlow Got Her Pregnant During Wild Threesome

Rising artist VV$ Diamond confirmed she’s carrying BossMan DLow’s baby following a series of strange events. The news came to light after her phone was stolen at a club in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Sensitive information, including messages and private photos, was leaked to a blog, forcing VV$ Diamond to address the situation publicly in an interview with AllHipHop.

VV$ Diamond, known for her recent string of records, including her latest, “Industry Freak,” had been working relentlessly on her music career, but her private life was thrust into the spotlight after the phone theft incident last weekend.

The situation unfolded during a day party at XO Lounge in Greensboro, where VV$ Diamond had been enjoying herself with friends.

However, within a matter of minutes, her phone was taken from her booth and by the next day, she was being blackmailed for $20,000.

“The vibes were cool at first, but I noticed some girls acting shady when I walked in,” she told AllHipHop. “Next thing I know, my phone is gone, and within 24 hours, someone was blackmailing me with personal content.”

The phone theft, which initially seemed like an unfortunate mishap, became a much more serious problem, when private messages between VV$ Diamond and BossMan DLow surfaced.

The two had been in a secret relationship, which began after a series of chance encounters in North Carolina. They’d met backstage at a concert in Greensboro, and their relationship quickly escalated.

“We started talking after his show in Greensboro, and a couple of months later, we linked up in Charlotte,” VV$ Diamond explained. “I pulled up to his room, and we ended up having a threesome. That’s how it all started.”

While the relationship remained private for several months, VV$ Diamond discovered she was pregnant after passing out at the Empire BET brunch during the BET Awards weekend in Los Angeles. Initially, she wasn’t sure how to handle the situation.

“I wasn’t really in the mindset of having another baby,” she admitted. “I already have a three-year-old, and I didn’t want more problems or to be tied down with another baby daddy situation.”

VV$ Diamond reached out to BossMan DLow to discuss the pregnancy and they initially agreed to get an abortion.

However, things took a different turn after the phone theft exposed their relationship to the public. VV$ Diamond’s stolen messages and private photos were leaked to a blog, creating a media frenzy and forcing her to confront the issue head-on.

BossMan DLow, on the other hand, reacted with skepticism, claiming that the leaked messages were fake and that VV$ Diamond was trying to sabotage him. His response left VV$ Diamond feeling betrayed.

“It was weird for him to say that,” she said. “I didn’t leak the messages, and I didn’t have to. I could have exposed him months ago, but I didn’t. Out of respect for how much I messed with him, I kept it quiet.”

Despite the initial agreement to terminate the pregnancy, VV$ Diamond has decided to keep the baby, primarily influenced by her family’s beliefs. Her grandmother and other family members, who are against abortion, have convinced her to carry the baby to term.

“My family doesn’t believe in abortions, and they told me they’d support me no matter what,” she explained. “So, I’m going to have this baby. It’s not going to stop me from performing or making music. I’m still going to be out here getting my money.”

As VV$ Diamond prepares for the arrival of her second child, she remains focused on her career and is determined to push through the drama that has surrounded her in recent months.

“This isn’t stopping my motion,” she asserted. “I’m still going to be out here performing and making music. It’s just another obstacle, but I’ll get through it.”

VV$ Diamond’s candidness about the situation has earned her both support and criticism, but she remains unfazed by the public’s reaction.

“People are going to talk about you no matter what, so I don’t really care what they say,” she said. “At the end of the day, this is my life, and I’ve got to defend myself and my reputation.”

The situation between VV$ Diamond and BossMan DLow remains tense, with the two not having spoken since the blog leak. VV$ Diamond is unsure whether they will reconcile, but she’s not ruling it out.

“If he wants to make things right, that’s up to him,” she said. “But I’m not going to play games. He should have never tried to act like it wasn’t real.”

For now, VV$ Diamond is focusing on her future as an artist and mother. With her career on the rise and a baby on the way, she’s ready to face whatever challenges come next.

“This is just a bump in the road,” she said confidently. “I’m still standing and I’m not going anywhere.”

Nicki Minaj Vs. Barbz: Lawyer Says Superfan Will “Regret” $5M Lawsuit

Nicki Minaj’s lawyer responded to a slander lawsuit filed by a member of her fiercely loyal fan base. Attorney Judd Burstein accused superfan Tameer Peak of harassing Minaj and expressed confidence in winning the case.

“Mr. Peak has been harassing Nicki on social media for years on end to no avail,” Burstein told TMZ. “He has now graduated to seeking to shake her down financially with manifestly false allegations and legally frivolous claims. He will regret having gone down this disreputable road when he is forced to pay her legal fees as required by California law.”

Peak sought $5 million in damages for reputational harm, emotional distress and financial loss. He claimed Minaj publicly ridiculed him and labeled him a stalker. He said their one-sided relationship started deteriorating when he faced the wrath of the “Nicki hate train” in 2017.

Minaj, who often interacts with her devoted fans known as the Barbz, allegedly invited Peak to her hotel to embarrass him on Instagram Live. Peak also accused her husband Kenneth Petty of battering him at a Super Bowl weekend event in 2020.

Peak said he received messages about Minaj wanting him to “stop saying dumb s###” earlier this year. According to his lawsuit, she called him mentally unstable and told fans he was on welfare in Stationhead chats.

Troy Ave Released From Rikers Island Prison: “Ya Boi Home!!”

Troy Ave is a free man after serving less than a year in prison for his involvement in the deadly 2016 shooting at Irving Plaza in New York City.

The outspoken rapper took to Instagram on Monday (August 26) and shared a photo of himself outside of Rikers Island wearing sunglasses, a mask and holding up a bag of cash. He’s also posing in front of a red sports car and holding a box of expensive liquor. He wrote in the caption simply, “Ya Boi Home!!”

A post shared by Troy Ave (@troyave)

Troy Ave reported to court in February to take responsibility for his role in the shooting involving podcast host Taxstone. The incident claimed the life of Troy Ave’s bodyguard, Ronald “Banga” McPhatter. Troy Ave shared a video to his Instagram account before the hearing.

“Alright, y’all, they might cheat me, you might not see me for a while,” he said at the time. “But just know the streets is a myth. All them people that was in the car with me, I end up taking the guns. Somebody shot at me, and instead of laying down and dying, I’d have been a hero, a martyr, I took the gun and bust back.

“And there you have it. Here go the consequences. But we don’t cry over spilt milk. We take the lemons and make lemonade. God is great, and the paper’s straight. Y’all keeps it cool. Y’all keep running it up. Send the prayers up. Prayers count more than anything.”

Troy Ave’s attorney, John B. Stella, issued an official statement shortly after sentencing. He wrote, “Roland Collins [Troy Ave] was sentenced on 2/9/24 to 1 year jail on his plea to attempted criminal possession of a weapon in the 2nd degree. Under the law he must serve 8 months to satisfy that sentence. Since he previously spent almost 2 months in jail before he made bail, the remaining balance of time he must serve is a little over 6 months.”

For his role, Taxstone was sentenced to 35 years in prison after being found guilty of multiple charges, including manslaughter and possession of a firearm as a felon.

Tyga Caught Up In $4M RICO Claims Against Floyd Mayweather Jr.

A jeweler sued Tyga, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and The Money Team for allegedly refusing to pay for luxury watches and jewelry. Leonard Sulaymanov accused the celebrities of RICO violations, fraud, breach of contract, unjust enrichment and more, per court documents obtained by AllHipHop. The Miami New Times was the first to report on the lawsuit.

“Mayweather, TMT and possibly others have systematically created, participated and engaged in what can be described as a quasi-criminal, money laundering scheme involving high-end, rare and exclusive luxury watches and jewelry,” Sulaymanov’s lawyers claimed. “The Defendants, acting in concert and with other financially incentivized third parties, will purchase/acquire luxury watches by soliciting watch brokers, like Plaintiffs herein, and offering them upfront cash with payment terms in exchange for the purchase of watches and jewelry, with no intention of paying off the total balances.”

Sulaymanov’s issues with Mayweather stemmed from a series of meetings in 2021. The jeweler was introduced to Jona Rechnitz, an associate of Mayweather. Rechnitz allegedly arranged for Sulaymanov to present various high-end items to Mayweather in Miami. The boxer agreed to purchase multiple watches and other jewelry.

Mayweather allegedly racked up a $4,151,157 bill. Rechnitz paid an initial down payment of $90,000. Sulaymanov received an additional $177,000 before Mayweather left Miami to go to Las Vegas. Roughly two weeks later, Rechnitz summoned the jeweler to Las Vegas to meet with another client: Tyga. The rapper agreed to buy a Rolex for $79,000. No payments were made, but Sulaymanov was given a “false sense of security” because the defendants purchased more merchandise.

Sulaymanov grew concerned when days went by with no payments from the defendants. Rechnitz promised payment was coming, but the jeweler never received anything. Sulaymanov was allegedly owed $3,883,657. He pursued litigation after learning of similar cases against Mayweather and Rechnitz.

“Defendants … take possession of watches and jewelry, demanding formal paperwork, boxes and warranties, request repayment terms with upfront cash deposits, only to refuse to pay the full price for said items and in some instances, claim they never ‘purchased’ the item but rather it was ‘gifted’ to them because of their fame and status,” Sulaymanov’s lawyers noted. “Lawsuits around the country have been filed in recent years against said Defendants.”

Sulamaynov sought more than $4 million in damages. He requested compensatory damages for humiliation, embarrassment and mental anguish.

Mariah Carey’s Mother & Sister Dead On Exact Same Day

Mariah Carey suffered an unimaginable tragedy over the weekend, when both her mother and sister died on the exact same day. The Grammy Award-winning singer confirmed the news on Monday (August 26) via PEOPLE.

She said in a statement: “My heart is broken that I’ve lost my mother this past weekend. Sadly, in a tragic turn of events, my sister lost her life on the same day. I feel blessed that I was able to spend the last week with my mom before she passed. I appreciate everyone’s love and support and respect for my privacy during this impossible time.”

Carey didn’t provide any furthers on her mother Patricia or sister Alison passed. Alison was reportedly diagnosed with HIV/AIDS in 1988 and suffered from drug addiction. She allegedly hadn’t spoken to Carey since 1994.

A post shared by Mariah Carey (@mariahcarey)

Patricia, who was previously married to Alfred Roy Carey, was a Juilliard-trained opera singer and vocal coach before giving birth to Alison, Mariah and son Morgan. The parents divorced when Carey was 3 years old.

Carey wrote about her complicated relationship with her mother in her 2020 memoir, The Meaning of Mariah Carey.

“Like many aspects of my life, my journey with my mother has been full of contradictions and competing realities,” she said. “It’s never been only black-and-white—it’s been a whole rainbow of emotions. Our relationship is a prickly rope of pride, pain, shame, gratitude, jealousy, admiration and disappointment. A complicated love tethers my heart to my mother’s.”

In 2010, mother and daughter came together for ABC’s Mariah Carey: Merry Christmas to You special and performed a duet of “O Come All Ye Faithful/Hallelujah Chorus.” Carey also dedicated her memoir partly to her mother, writing, “And to Pat, my mother, who, through it all, I do believe actually did the best she could. I will love you the best I can, always.”

Carey’s relationship with her sister was difficult as well. At the time of its release, she said it was “emotionally and physically safer for me not to have any contact” with her or her brother. In 2021, Alison sued Carey for allegations she made in the book.

At one point, Carey claimed Alison “gave her V#####, tried to pimp her out and threw a cup of boiling hot tea on her causing third-degree burns” when she was 12. Alison disputed the accusations and claimed Carey provided zero evidence to support them.

Alison, on the other hand, said their mother subjected her to satanic rituals and sexual activity at a young age. She revealed she suffered a traumatic brain injury during a 2015 home invasion and accused Carey of using her status as a public figure “to attack her penniless sister” to promote her book. Alison sued Carey for more than $1.25 million.

Fivio Foreign Films Man Shooting Drugs Amid Trump Support & JD Vance Death Penalty Pledge

Fivio Foreign is drawing backlash on social media after sharing a controversial post that appears to promote drug use and the illegal tender and sales of narcotics such as heroin.

In a tweet he shared on Sunday (August 25), Fivio Foreign connected with trending Philadelphia rapper Skrilla, who went viral earlier this year after doing a From The Block live performance of his song “G#######” with a pair of women who appeared to be on drugs.

According to Fivio, he and Skrilla elected to hit the streets after his concert got canceled, which resulted in the pair of rappers and their entourages taking part in the filing of a disturbing video of a man purportedly using narcotics on the street.

“Philly bloccs Show got canceled we went to the hood to checc Skrilla ,” Fivio wrote in the caption of the video.

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by AllHipHop (@allhiphopcom)

The group of onlookers chanted the street term “dog food”—widely used for as a code word for heroin—as the incident occurred, seemingly glorifying the sale of drugs. Since Fivio shared the grizzly video, the tweet itself has attracted well over a million views on Twitter. Additionally, thousands of users reacted to the clip with utter disgust and astonishment while criticizing Fivio for sharing it in the first place.

“Fivio might be the dumbest rapper of all time, you cant make this up,” one user wrote in a tweet. Another user added, “Fivio like forty in another n###as hood hanging with junkies show got cancelled so this what u decide to go do? Lmfao.”

Users continued reacting to the video, slamming the two rappers for seemingly making fun of the ongoing drug epidemic that’s actively claiming lives.

One user who appears to be a close associate to Skrilla, came to the defense of the Philly native by remarking on the environment he was brought up in.

“If you never met Skrilla, don’t talk about him as a person cuz of this tweet plz,” the user pleaded in part. “He grew up in Kensington. He’s a product of his environment. This all he knows. But Skrilla is one of the most kindhearted people I know and one of the best friends I made in the music industry.”

Fivio recently endorsed Donald Trump for president and even collaborated with the former POTUS on a song featuring Kodak Black entitled “ONBOA47RD.” However, the “City Of God” rapper’s recent post is certainly off-code from the platform Trump and his running mate, JD Vance, have stood on recently.

Vance recently pledged to sentence convicted drug dealers to the death penalty if Trump is elected to a second term. Vance is the U.S. Senator for the state of Ohio, which has been significantly impacted by the opioid crisis, with overdose deaths remaining a critical public health issue. In recent years, there has been an alarming increase in overdose deaths, particularly due to fentanyl, which is often mixed with other drugs leading to unintentional overdoses.

Uncle Luke Demands Money From Ice Spice, Megan Thee Stallion & Other Twerking Rappers

Southern Hip-Hop pioneer Uncle Luke believes he deserves compensation from rappers known for their sexual lyrics and presentation. The 2 Live Crew member sought payment from Ice Spice, Megan Thee Stallion and more for paving the way with his music, which was once deemed obscene by a federal judge.

“I need a check from Ice Spice,” Uncle Luke said on social media. “I need a check from Sexyy Red. All the f###### girls, Megan Thee Stallion. Anybody that’s running around shaking their ass. Male rap is on some b####### right now. I’m sorry. The females are winning. They’re doing everything that I did. I’m still waiting for these girls to send me a f###### check.”

Uncle Luke specifically named Ice Spice, Megan Thee Stallion and Sexyy Red. He quickly changed his mind about Sexyy Red due to her deal with Open Shift Distribution.

“I need a check from Ice Spice, who turning her ass around and dropping it like it’s hot and doo doo browning,” he said. “I need a check from her. I need a check from Sexyy Red. Nah, that Red my friend. My man Stan. Shouts out to Stan, Stan the man. I don’t need a check from him. That’s my dog. That’s his record company.”

He added, “All the f###### girls, Megan Thee Stallion, anybody that’s running ‘round shaking they ass talking ‘bout p#### and dick on the record, y’all need to send me a check. Send me a check. Just stop by with the check and say, ‘Thank you Uncle Luke for allowing us, fighting, going to the Supreme Court, allowing us to be able to say what we saying on the records. And we’re whooping these men’s a#### right now ’cause we doing our thing.’”

2 Live Crew’s As Nasty As They Wanna Be was the first album to be declared legally obscene. The group was arrested for performing songs from the album and a record store owner was busted for selling it. Uncle Luke and his fellow 2 Live Crew members were acquitted of obscenity in 1990. An appeals court overturned a federal judge’s obscenity ruling regarding As Nasty As They Wanna Be in 1992.

Diddy Drags Uncle Murda Clip Into Bid To Dismiss Lil Rod’s Bombshell Lawsuit

Sean “Diddy” Combs asked a New York judge to throw out producer Lil Rod’s salacious lawsuit on Monday (August 26). Diddy’s lawyers filed a motion seeking a dismissal with prejudice, per court documents obtained by AllHipHop. If granted, the judge’s order would prevent Lil Rod from refiling his case against the Hip-Hop mogul.

“Replete with legally meaningless allegations and blatant falsehoods, the [lawsuit’s] true purpose is to generate media hype and exploit it to extract a settlement—no surprise, given that [Lil Rod’s]attorney was recently referred to this Court’s Grievance Committee for engaging in a ‘pattern’ of ‘improperly fil[ing] cases in federal court to garner media attention, embarrass defendants with salacious allegations, and pressure defendants to settle quickly,” Diddy’s lawyers wrote.

Lil Rod, whose real name is Rodney Jones, sued Diddy in February. The producer accused Diddy of RICO violations, sexual assault, sex trafficking and breach of contract, among other claims.

Diddy’s lawyers denied the allegations. His attorneys said Lil Rod failed “to state a single viable claim” in their motion to dismiss. The defendant’s legal team disputed multiple aspects of Lil Rod’s lawsuit, saying it was filled with “hyperbole and lurid theatrics.”

“Mr. Jones’s lawsuit is pure fiction – a shameless attempt to create media hype and extract a quick settlement,” Diddy’s attorney Erica Wolff said in a press statement. “There was no RICO conspiracy and Mr. Jones was not threatened, groomed, assaulted, or trafficked. We look forward to proving – in a court of law – that all of Mr. Jones’s claims are made up and must be dismissed.”

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by AllHipHop (@allhiphopcom)

Diddy’s motion cited a clip of Lil Rod appearing at 50 Cent’s Humor & Harmony festival as an example of the producer’s true motives for filing the lawsuit. Lil Rod was seen with rapper Uncle Murda in a brief video from the event.

“Taking a page from his attorney’s playbook, Jones recently posted a video on the ‘X’ platform in which he, together with a performer known as ‘Uncle Murda,’ laughed about this lawsuit (despite his allegations of ‘severe emotional distress’), demanded Mr. Combs pay him ‘that money by Monday,’ and warned: ‘I’m from Chicago, we don’t play about our business,’ Diddy’s lawyers noted in their filing. “Like the [Second Amended Complaint], Jones’ videotaped threats on social media are part of a calculated effort to promote his personal brand and profit from the exposure. Such tactics have no place in federal court.”

Lil Rod is one of the many people who’ve sued Diddy for sexual assault over the past year. Diddy is also the subject of a federal investigation into sex trafficking allegations.

Playboi Carti Fans On High Alert Over The Weeknd Tease

Playboi Carti hinted at a new collaboration with The Weeknd amid fan speculation over the reclusive rapper’s third studio album. Carti posted a photo of himself FaceTiming The Weeknd on Instagram Stories, making fans wonder if the two teamed up for new music on Monday (August 26).

Carti and The Weeknd previously worked together on the song “Popular” with Madonna. The track was originally supposed to appear on a soundtrack for The Weeknd’s HBO show The Idol. “Popular” was included on a deluxe edition of his greatest hits album The Highlights.

Fans have impatiently waited for Carti to release a new album for a few years. His last project, Whole Lotta Red, dropped in 2020.

Carti and Iggy Azalea’s son Onyx was also born in 2020. Azalea claimed Carti wasn’t handling his share of the parenting duties on Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s Dinner’s on Me podcast in July.

“I’m very much the only parent,” she said. “No disrespect, but yes, I am not co-parenting really, and that’s just the reality of it.”

Azalea and Carti’s romance ended the same year their son was born. She said the former couple had “a volatile relationship” in a 2023 interview. The Australian rapper broke up with Carti to “break the toxic cycle.”

Tyrese’s “Beautiful Pain” and Movie “1992”: A Double Release Rooted in Authenticity and Healing

Tyrese Gibson Unveils His Heart and Soul with New Album Beautiful Pain and His Hood in Film “1992”

Tyrese is ready to share not just one, but two deeply personal projects with the world. His new double album, Beautiful Pain, and his movie, 1992, are set to drop on August 30.

Tyrese has poured his heart into his latest musical opus, Beautiful Pain, available through his own platform tyrese.tv. The double album, which he said is as the most important music he has ever released, is an an emotional journey. The work travels through his well-publicized trials of divorce, the pursuit of new love, and the complexities of healing from the loss of his mother.

“I hope people feel the authenticity, the realness. This album is about the highs and lows of love, the pain and the beauty that come with it. It’s my Marvin Gaye Here, My Dear moment. I want people to listen to it and be reminded that love is worth fighting for, that healing is possible,” he said before an audience at The New York Times Square AMC theater.

Beautiful Pain spans 20 tracks, each one a testament to Tyrese’s commitment to authenticity and depth in his music. The album marks a departure from the conventional sound of today’s R&B, featuring entirely live production by the legendary David Foster, with contributions from renowned saxophonist Kenny G.

Tyrese is confident that Beautiful Pain will resonate deeply with listeners, particularly those navigating their own relationships.

“It’s the most important album I’ve ever released. It’s about my divorce, about me finding love again. The album is grown. It’s a full experience. No skips,” he maintained. “This album is meant to bring people back together, not contribute to the divorce rate. I’ve played it for married couples, and they’ve told me it helped them reconnect.”

Tyrese’s dual projects, “1992 and Beautiful Pain, stand as a powerful statement and commercial works. Both are squarely rooted in his personal experiences.

“When God’s got His hands on something, don’t worry about the way it looks,” he says.

In an era where many artists chase trends and chart positions, Tyrese Gibson is proving that there is still room for authenticity, perseverance, and stories that touch the soul in the entertainment industry.

Nick Cannon Dragged Into Viral Debate Amid Cam Newton’s Controversial Fatherhood Remarks

Nick Cannon is getting dragged on social media after a clip of Cam Newton disusing his view on marriage and fatherhood went viral.

On the latest episode of his Funky Friday show, Newton discussed marriage and relationships with his guest, Dr. Cheyenne Bryant. He admitted that despite having eight children with three different women, he is in no rush to settle down. Newton explained to Dr. Bryant that he wants even more children, but his “desire to get married” is lower than his”fear of divorce.”

However, Dr. Bryant told him his actions were creating broken families. “You’re not taking your time,” she replied. “You have eight kids with three different women. You are creating, procreating, and multiplying. That is not taking your time, you’re being very selectively active.” She added that his fears “will selfishly create broken families.”

Nick Cannon Had Dr. Bryant On His “Counsel Culture” Show

His comments sparked controversy online, with many social media users slamming the former NFL star. Nick Cannon was also used as an example of another man who, like Cam Newton, has multiple children with different mothers.

Users shared a clip from the Wild ‘N Out star’s interview with Dr. Bryant.

“The clip of Dr. Bryant speaking with Cam Newton is nuts BUT this one of her talking to Nick Cannon is even crazier,” one person wrote. “He basically admitted to being a wolf in sheep’s clothing. He’s a predator who has no issue with“preying on women” bc “that’s what men do” (his words not mine).

“Ngl that Cam Newton video p##### me off so bad,” another person shared. “The Nick Cannonfication of fatherhood is a national health crisis that needs to be addressed and dismantled. You n##### are real life crazy.”

A third user stated, “I’m so glad everyone is dragging Cam Newton for that video. He and other Nick Cannon types deserve public shaming for their behavior. It’s insane that these men think they can make tons of children in different homes but still deserve access to any woman.

Eminem’s Daughter Hallie “Audibly Sobbed” Listening To Father’s Album

Eminem’s daughter Hallie Jade Scott wept with emotion after hearing two songs on her father’s album.

Last month, the Detroit legend released his latest album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), which included a track dedicated to Hallie, “Somebody Save Me.” Eminem dropped the music video last week, and Hallie revealed she watched it once but refused to watch it again.

“I watched it in its entirety, and I don’t think I can do it again,” she said of the visuals during the latest episode of her Just a Little Shady podcast. I definitely cry every time I hear it at all.”

The track, which features Jelly Roll and includes childhood footage of Hallie, sees Eminem delve into an alternate reality where he never got sober.

“Hailie, I’m so sorry I know I wasn’t there for your first guitar recital,” he raps. “Didn’t walk you down the aisle/Missed the birth of your first child/Your first podcast, lookin’ down, sweetie.”

Eminem’s “Temporary” Features Audio Of Baby Hallie Jade

Eminem and Skylar Grey’s song “Temporary” also made Hallie extremely emotional.

“Between that and ‘Temporary,'” she said of the track, which features a recording of her as a baby. “I audibly sobbed I think for both songs, but especially ‘Temporary.’”

Her voice cracked as she continued discussing the premise of the track.

“Watching the video back and listening to the songs, I feel like my parents did such a good job,” she explained. “Growing up, where I didn’t realize how bad things were, but now as an adult, in hindsight, it’s so scary to think about. I think that’s why I get emotional so much, just thinking that that could have happened.”

“Somebody Save Me” is likely made even more poignant for Hallie after Eminem walked her down the aisle as she married her new husband, Evan McClintock.

In May, the Academy Award-winning MC celebrated 17 years of sobriety after a crippling addiction to painkillers almost cost him his life in 2007.

Kid Cudi Stunned Kanye West Dropped Their Collab: “What Da Hell Is He Doing?”

Kid Cudi told a fan how much he wanted to hear his latest song with Kanye West and was shocked to learn that Ye had already dropped the track.

On Sunday (August 25), Cudi held a Q&A with his fans to kill time while waiting for a flight. One of his followers told him they loved hearing him on Ye’s  “GUN TO MY HEAD.”

However, Cudi was unaware the track featured on one of the multiple deluxe versions of Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s VULTURES 2

“Its tasty. Hope Ye drops that one day,” he replied before the fan revealed the song was out. “Where??? I wanna hear,” he said. “I forgot what it sounds like I only heard it once since I recorded it when he played it that one time at the listening event.”

When another user informed him the song was released on Yeezy.com but had sold out, Kid Cudi vowed to have a conversation with Kanye West.

“What da hell is he doin???” he asked. “Haha ima talk to him.”

Earlier this year, Kid Cudi revealed he forgave Kanye West following a highly-publicized feud over the “Donda 2” album. West cut Cudi from the album due to his friendship with Pete Davidson. The comic was dating West’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, at the time.

“The reason why we became cool again is because he apologized to me and it was sincere,” he said during an interview in January. “I was just like, ‘Wow.’ Kanye does not apologize to anybody and say sorry to anyone. And that’s my brother, man. I know he loves me and there’s just nothing like Kanye and Cudi. We like the duo that everybody loves to see.”

Kid Cudi Reflects On Kanye West Feud

In his Q&A Sunday night, Cudi told fans he hopes to collaborate with Ye again. He was touched when a fan said, “He called you King Cudi the other day in Korea.”

Reflecting on their past issues, he added, “Family always has problems sometimes, its the love that gets us through.”

Cudi also dashed fans’ hopes of a joint album with Travis Scott, insisting, “That ship came and went my friend. Lets move on. So much more to see and hear.”

He also shared a new music update following a foot injury earlier this year. Fans can expect the project in time for next summer, with a single to kick off the year in January.

“Ok so I pushed things back a bit cuz I wanna smack the world w this top of next year,” he revealed. “So the plan is, 1st single on my birthday and the album in the summer. I rarely drop summer albums, and this next one is all summer vibes so be ready.”

He also hinted at a possible fourth installment of his Man on the Moon trilogy.

Macklemore Cancels Dubai Show In Solidarity With Sudan Citing UAE’s Role In “Ongoing Genocide”

Macklemore has scrapped his upcoming concert in Dubai in protest to the United Arab Emirates’ role “in the ongoing genocide and humanitarian crisis” in Sudan.

On Sunday (August 25), Macklemore announced he canceled his October show. He took to Instagram with a lengthy statement explaining his decision.

“The crisis in Sudan is catastrophic,” Macklemore wrote. “Over ten million people have been displaced, millions face imminent famine, sexual violence is widespread, and at least 150,000 lives have been lost, including thousands of children. While numerous external forces contribute to this crisis, advocates, organizers, journalists, and officials repeatedly highlight the UAE’s role in funding the RSF militia as a major factor.”

Earlier this year, the Seattle-bred rapper released a pro-Palestinian anthem called “Hinds Hall.” Macklemore revealed he’s been educating himself for the last 10 months and claimed “the plight of the Palestinian people has woken the world up.”

He said that although he might not live to see the “dismantling” of systemic oppression, “our collective analysis is evolving.” He added, “That is where it starts. When we realize our individual liberation IS Palestinian liberation. Is Sudanese liberation. Is Congolese liberation. We are being called in this moment to advocate for the most marginalized around the world.”

Macklemore also explained his decision to cancel the Dubai show and not others.

“Because the current situation in Sudan is urgent, horrific and it’s going largely unnoticed globally,” he wrote. “I’m following the lead of Sudanese organizers and activists who are trying to be heard.”

Macklemore revealed he was excited to perform in Dubai and believes “this will probably jeopardise my future shows in the area.” Nonetheless, he added, “But until the UAE stops arming and funding the RSF I will not perform there.”

It’s been a tumultuous year for Lizzo, who threatened to quit music amid constant public scrutiny. Last August, Lizzo was sued by three former dancers, alleging sexual misconduct and hostile work conditions. Lizzo denies the claims.

“I’m getting tired of putting up with being dragged by everyone in my life and on the internet,” she wrote in March. “All I want is to make music and make people happy and help the world be a little better than how I found it. But I’m starting to feel like the world doesn’t want me in it.”

She added, “I didn’t sign up for this s### — I QUIT.”

However, she later clarified her post, confirming she’s not quitting the music industry.

“When I say, ‘I quit,’ I mean I quit giving any negative energy attention,” she explained. “What I’m not going to quit is the joy of my life, which is making music and connecting to people.”

GloRilla Reacts After Facing Backlash Over “R-Word” Use In Unreleased Track

GloRilla sparked a fierce debate online after teasing a new track with a controversial lyric.

Earlier this week, the “TGIF” hitmaker shared a snippet of an upcoming song which included the line, “Me and my b#### r#######.”  The use of the R-word was condemned by many who found the term offensive.

According to The Special Olympics, the R-word is a form of hate speech and is frequently used as a slur, which can be extremely hurtful to people with intellectual disabilities.

Social media users debated whether or not it was acceptable for GloRilla to use the term. However, the Memphis, Tennessee native swiftly reacted, changing the lyrics to remove the word. Instead of using the R-word, GloRilla raps, “Me and my b#### go naughty,” a move praised by many of her fans.

“Awwww she changed the lyrics just in case it did hurt someone’s feelings,” one person wrote in Glo’s comment section.

“The fact that you changed the R word with naughty shows you are very mature,” another added. “Heard the criticism and went back in the lab and changed it..Glo for the people.”

However, some were not convinced the word needed replacing, despite the criticism. “not you changed the lyrics,” a third person shared. “smh i was ready to say that s### with my whole chest lol.”

Meanwhile, on Sunday night GloRilla reunited with her “Wanna Be” remix collaborator and Hot Girl Summer Tour partner Megan Thee Stallion.

“When you finally link with your favorite girl you ain’t seen in a while,” Meg captioned a video of their meet-up. “Lmaoooo Meg why are we like dis,” Glo replied in the comment section.
