Diddy’s Alleged Drug Mule Accepts Deal Offered By Prosecutors

Brendan Paul, the man accused of being Diddy’s drug mule, managed to avoid jail time for a cocaine possession charge in Florida. According to multiple reports, Paul accepted a deal to enroll in a drug diversion program.

Prosecutors offered Paul the deal since he is a first-time offender. The Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office said Paul was not found with a “trafficking” level of cocaine, per Rolling Stone.

“Brendan accepted the prosecutor’s offer to permit his entry into the diversion program which, after completion, the case against him will be dismissed in its entirety,” his lawyer Brian Bieber said.

Paul was arrested for carrying cocaine and marijuana-laced candy at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport in March. Police took the 25-year-old man into custody the same day Homeland Security raided Diddy’s homes in a sex trafficking investigation.

Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura accused him of rape and sex trafficking in a lawsuit filed in November 2023. The two quickly settled the case out of court, but Diddy faced more sexual assault and trafficking allegations in subsequent weeks.

Three women sued Diddy after his settlement with Cassie. Two of his accusers claimed he sexually assaulted them when they were minors. He denied the allegations in December 2023.

“Enough is enough,” he wrote. “For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watch people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy. Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.”

Producer Lil Rod sued Diddy in February 2024. The lawsuit said Diddy was the leader of a “widespread and dangerous criminal sex trafficking organization.” Lil Rod identified Paul as Diddy’s drug mule.

Young Dolph Murder Trial Delayed At Behest Of Prosecution & Defense

Attorneys representing Young Dolph’s alleged killers received more time to prepare for their murder trial. According to local reports in Memphis, a Tennessee court granted a joint motion to move Justin Johnson and Cornelius Smith’s trial to September. It was originally scheduled to begin on June 3.

Prosecutors and defense lawyers said they needed more time to litigate the admissibility of expert opinions on “Timing Advance records.” Both sides agreed they would not be able to complete the process before the original start date of June 3.

“While both parties are on path to proceed to trial, this issue is a highly technical and novel issue that requires expert testimony and hearing,” they wrote in the joint motion. “As such, the parties submit that the present trial date cannot accommodate expert review, scheduling and hearing.”

They continued, “When this issue became apparent, both counsels met with each other, immediately began securing secondary experts on the technical issues regarding Timing Advance and met with this Honorable Court. This Joint Motion follows that meeting and seeks to continue this litigation on a path to trial but on a schedule that accommodates litigation of this necessary issue. It is expected that litigation of this issue, consistent with this Court’s calendar, could be resolved within the next 60 days.”

The prosecution and defense confirmed they were available for a September trial. An exact start date has not been scheduled.

Young Dolph, whose real name was Adolph Thornton Jr., was shot and killed at a Memphis bakery in 2021. Four men were arrested in connection to his murder.

Johnson and Smith were indicted on multiple charges, including first-degree murder, for allegedly carrying out the deadly attack. Both men remain in jail.

Hernandez Govan, the man accused of ordering the hit on Young Dolph, was indicted for first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder. Govan was placed on house arrest after posting a $90,000 bond.

A fourth suspect, Jermarcus Johnson, pleaded guilty to accessory after the fact. He awaits sentencing.

Chuck Inglish of The Cool Kids has raised an interesting theory about producer The Alchemist’s NBA player doppelgänger—and now it’s something that we can’t unsee.

Long story short, Chuck proposed New York Knicks guard Donte DiVencenzo favors The Alchemist or at least a version of him in the past. The “Connect Four” MC made the claim on Twitter (X) recently, and in doing so, referenced the beatsmith’s debut album, First Infantry, which was released in 2004.

“DiVincenzo is First Infantry @Alchemist once you see it. You cant unsee it,” Chuck Inglish wrote.

In the thread along with Chuck’s tweet, a user attached a clip of the music video for the standout record “Hold You Down” from the project featuring the late Mobb Deep rapper, Prodigy. In the aforementioned clip, the similarities of The Alchemist and DiVenchenzo’s likeness is hard to shake off, especially at a glance.

It’s worth noting that The Alchemist is more on the spectrum of having brown hair rather than being a redhead, like DiVincenzo. Not to mention the fact that Chuck is comparing the two based on what The Alchemist looked like nearly two full decades ago.

However, pretty much everything else is there from the thin mustache to the similarities in their hairstyles and somewhat facial structure. We might need Knicks superfan Fat Joe to step in and make a decision on this either way.

Rod Wave’s baby mama Dee attacked a person for accusing her of cheating on him on social media. An X (formerly known as Twitter) user claimed Dee was unfaithful, saying Rod Wave would drop two albums worth of material if he knew what the poster knew. The allegations caught Dee’s attention.

“Wat you know bout me that ion know bout my self f### n####?” she wrote. “PLEASE SPILL THE TEA WHY U HOLDING BACK.”

The X user attempted to expose Dee by sharing alleged proof of her cheating. He posted a picture of her on the phone in bed and a brief video of someone else’s legs in the same bed. Dee criticized the misleading evidence, which she claimed was taken from her cousin’s social media.

“THATS ME POST THE CF NAME B#### WHY U HIDING IT,” she wrote. “The fact that my cousin posted dese videos is sickkkkkkk.”

The X user mocked Dee, asking her if she let the world believe she was having sex with her cousin to shame Rod Wave. Dee bashed her online irritant by targeting the music linked in his bio.

Cardi B insisted she won’t vote in the 2024 presidential election. The Atlantic Records artist bluntly rejected President Joe Biden and Donald Trump as candidates in an interview with Rolling Stone.

“I don’t f### with both of y’all n#####,” she said of Biden and Trump.

Cardi B famously interviewed and endorsed Biden after initially supporting Bernie Sanders in 2020. Biden’s presidency left the Grammy Award winner with “layers and layers of disappointment.”

“I feel like people got betrayed,” she said. “It’s just like, damn, y’all not caring about nobody. Then, it really gets me upset that there is solutions to it. There is a solution. I know there’s a solution because you’re spending billions of dollars on any f###### thing.”

Cardi B spoke on the devastating violence in Gaza despite concerns about getting “blackballed.” More than 35,000 Palestinians have been killed since Israel waged war on Hamas in October 2023.

“[America] don’t pay for endless wars for countries that have been going through s### for a very long time,” she said. “There’s countries [where] kids are getting killed every single day, but because the [U.S.] won’t benefit from that country, they won’t help. The man accused of killing rapper Chris King has topped Nashville’s “Top 10 Most Wanted” list.

Adrien Cameron, 19, has been on the lam for almost a month after being accused of fatally shooting rapper Chris King on April 20 in an attempted robbery.

The incident occurred when Chris King, whose real name was Christopher Cheeks, was with friends, and three unidentified men confronted them, resulting in an exchange of gunfire.

Chris King died, and one of his friends survived despite being injured.

At the time of the shooting, Cameron was out on bond for another homicide case dating back to September 2021.

After the incident, he allegedly removed his ankle monitor, prompting an intensive manhunt by the Nashville Metro Police. Authorities are urging the public to provide any information on Cameron’s whereabouts.

50 Cent is not afraid to share critical takes about his industry peers in public. After going after Sean “Diddy” Combs (formerly known as Puff Daddy) for years, the Queens, New York native recently turned his attention to Jay-Z.

Diddy faces multiple sexual misconduct lawsuits. There have also been reports that federal law enforcement officials have the Bad Boy Entertainment founder under investigation for alleged sex trafficking.

In February, Jay-Z reportedly canceled his annual pre-Grammy Awards Roc Nation Brunch. However, celebrities showed up for Jay and Beyoncé’s post-Academy Awards Gold Party the following month.

Diddy settled a highly-publicized Adult Survivors Act lawsuit filed by his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. Music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones also accused the mogul of sexual assault in a separate unsettled case.

50 Cent has not only targeted Diddy and Jay-Z in recent days. The Get Rich or Die Tryin’ album creator also clashed with Meek Mill, Ja Rule and Diddy’s son, King Combs, over the last week.

Burna Boy is opening up about why he hasn’t had any kids yet and responding to rumors he’s unable to father children. 

Fans questioned the “City Boys” hitmaker about his personal life after he hopped on Instagram Live Wednesday (May 15).  

“Why haven’t I had kids yet? Bro, because I don’t want to have kids yet,” Burna Boy replied before explaining that he wants his kids to have the same stable upbringing his parents gave him.  

“Have you seen my mum, the way she loves me?” he asked. “Have you seen my dad the way he loves me? I know I can’t give that to anyone right now with the life I live. You feel me?” 

Burna Boy continued, “So when I’m settled and I can be there for my children everyday, every single minute of every day, every second, I’m not having no kid. That’s just me and that’s a personal thing because I feel like my kids deserve better than I got. And I got both my mum and dad so you understand?” 

However, fans in the chat brought up rumors that Burna Boy hasn’t had kids yet due to fertility issues. He brushed off the speculation, denying the rumors but explained that infertility treatments are “normal.” 

“I see the bants in the chat talking about some impotent s###.,” he said, laughing. “Let’s even say that it’s true that I can’t have any kids, have you not heard of IVF?” 

In 2019, Stefflon Don allegedly claimed Burna Boy was “impotent” and claimed she ended their three-year relationship because he was unable to have kids.

Brian McKnight is facing further backlash from his fans following a post from his estranged son Nikolas. 

Many fans turned their back on the singer after he disowned his eldest three children, Nikolas, Brian Jr. and daughter Briana whom he recently referred to as the “product of sin.” 

He received further criticism on Wednesday after Nikolas reacted to his father’s Mother’s Day post. McKnight gushed over his new wife and family and how she parents her adult children and the couple’s 1-year-old son, Brian Kainoa Makoa Jr. 

He also spoke at length about being a present father to their baby while thanking his wife for giving him so many first-time experiences as a parent. 

“Thank you for giving me my first experience of witnessing my child coming into this world,” he said. “Then hearing his beautiful cry and that incredible moment of cutting my first umbilical cord!” 

However, this came as news to Nikolas who heard it for the first time on social media. “Damn, I never knew he wasn’t there when I was born,” he wrote on Wednesday (May 15). “I always assumed he was? Crazy.” 

Disgruntled Brian McKnight fans littered the replies with many threatening to boycott the singer.  

“He ain’t gone never be able to do another concert in America,” one person wrote. “The people have spoken.” Another added, “SMH you and your siblings don’t deserve this. Do you have any music we can stream to support you? We’ll spin y’all music over your dad’s music.”

Lauryn Hill has gone more than 25 years without giving fans a follow-up to her debut album, but the wait may soon be over. 

Released in 1998, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is considered a Hip Hop masterpiece. The project propelled Hill to global superstardom, selling over 400,000 copies in its first week. It also earned her five Grammy Awards, including the coveted Album of the Year. 

Despite the anticipation for a follow-up, Lauryn Hill has never dropped another studio album. However, it looks like that’s set to change, and Hill’s mythical sophomore offering is finally on the horizon.  

TMZ caught up with the Fugees singer and her son, YG Marley, following their recent performance on The Tonight Show. When asked about the prospect of his mom dropping a second album, the 22-year-old singer initially hid his face behind his hands. He then remained silent for some time before indicating a second album was in the works.  

“Music is on the way,” YG revealed. “For real this time.” He then doubled down, confirming fans can get “excited” about the project before hinting at a possible guest appearance.  

Lauryn Hill simply nodded when the outlet asked if she plans to release a second album. Without giving too much away, she revealed the project is coming “soon,” and smiled.

In a rare 2021 interview, Lauryn Hill explained that the success of her first offering put immense pressure on her.  

“No one from my label has ever called me and asked how can we help you make another album, EVER…EVER,”  she told Rolling Stone. “With The Miseducation, there was no precedent. I was, for the most part, free to explore, experiment, and express.”  

Hill continued, “After The Miseducation, there were scores of tentacled obstructionists, politics, repressing agendas, unrealistic expectations, and saboteurs EVERYWHERE. People had included me in their own narratives of THEIR successes as it pertained to my album, and if this contradicted my experience, I was considered an enemy.”

Latto was courtside to witness Angel Reese make her WNBA debut for the Chicago Sky against the Dallas Wings. 

The “Sunday Service” hitmaker made sure she was in town to see the former LSU Tigers women’s college basketball star play her first game at College Park Center in Arlington, Texas. 

After explaining that she came to watch Angel Reese in action, Latto shared her thoughts on the current buzz surrounding the WNBA. According to Latto, it’s time for the ladies to shine. “It’s the year of the woman, it’s the year of the female, it’s the year of the girl,” she said during a courtside interview. “I’m here for the girl power period. Let’s go Angel Reese.” 

She added, “I love Texas, but I did want to be at her first game. You know everybody going to come later, but we did it first.” 

Latto and Angel Reese flicked it up after the game before the rapper flew off in a private jet. “I came here strictly for Angel Reese, I’m out,” she said before boarding the plane.  

Angel Reese made a cameo in the music video for Latto and Cardi B’s “Put It on Da Floor Again” last year. Cardi also shouted out the Tiger’s thrilling title run.

Soulja Boy Explodes On 21 Savage & Meek Mill Despite Metro Boomin Apology

Soulja Boy may have apologized to Metro Boomin, but he is not extending the same courtesy to 21 Savage or Meek Mill. 

In an Instagram Live chat on Wednesday (May 15), Big Draco explained he regretted making distasteful comments about the producer’s late mother. 

“That just goes to show you how angry I get,” he told his followers. “How mad I get when I see n##### hating on me. But that still ain’t no f###### excuse. I gotta be a good role model to my young n#####.” 

He also admitted he was wrong, adding, “We gotta learn from this s###, we gotta grow.” 

However, despite walking back his Metro Boomin shade, Soulja Boy isn’t making amends with 21 Savage or Meek Mill. Both rappers called him out over his disrespectful comments about Metro Boomin’s mother.  

“21 you still a b####, f### you talking bout,” Soulja exclaimed. “21 you still a b#### ass n####! I just ain’t like what I said about Metro s###. But f### you 21 this ain’t have nothing to do with you… I ain’t say sorry ‘cause of you.”  

After threatening to slap 21 Savage, Soulja Boy turned to Meek Mill. “Mind your muthafuckin business,” he warned before mocking Meek over the salacious Diddy rumors. “Why you on my muthafucking tweet?” 

His comments came just hours after revealing he plans to seek professional help following his latest social media tirade.  

“I apologize to @MetroBoomin for over reacting over an old tweet,” Soulja Boy wrote on Twitter (X). “Condolences to his mom. I’m going to seek therapy and anger management. I’m done responding to hate, new or old.”

Kanye West has settled with the Estate of Donna Summer over allegations of copyright infringement from the unauthorized use of the singer’s iconic hit “I Feel Love” on his album Vultures 1. 

The estate filed the lawsuit on February 27, alleging West incorporated the song into his work without obtaining necessary permission. According to the complaint, West either re-recorded the track, used an A.I.-generated rendition or directly sampled Summer’s vocals, violating copyright laws. 

Summer’s estate expressed dissatisfaction with the rapper’s actions, highlighting that their denial of permission was disregarded.

“Kanye West asked permission to use Donna Summer’s song ‘I Feel Love,’ he was denied… he changed the words, had someone re-sing it or used A.I., but it’s ‘I Feel Love’… copyright infringement,” a rep for the estate said.

Following the lawsuit, the two parties agreed to resolve the matter amicably. Sources revealed to AllHipHop that negotiations persisted throughout April and May, culminating in a global settlement on May 13.

All parties have agreed in principle, although the estate has faced challenges locating Ty Dolla $ign to serve him with legal documents. Despite the obstacle, both parties anticipate finalizing and executing the written settlement shortly.

The terms of this settlement, including any financial compensation or specific amends, haven’t been made public. 

Once all parties have signed the settlement agreement, the estate plans to proceed with filing a stipulation for dismissal of the action. Once executed, the settlement will end a legal dispute that has attracted significant public and media attention. 

Summer, also known as the “Queen of Disco,” left a legacy that her estate is committed to protecting, evidenced by their rigorous defense of the celebrated 1977 classic “I Feel Love.” 

Although representatives for both Kanye West and Donna Summer’s estate declined to comment further, the upcoming finalization of the settlement indicates an end to the legal strife that has consumed both parties over recent months.

The debate between President Joe Biden and former president Donald Trump will be more consequential—and possibly more interesting—than the latest rap beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar.

Joe Biden and Donald Trump have agreed to take the stage for two presidential debates.

The debates are set for June and September, hosted by CNN and ABC News respectively, shifting away from the traditional Commission on Presidential Debates structure.

The striking agreement comes after initial reservations, as both candidates harbored doubts over each other’s adherence to debate regulations. Biden stipulated a debate free of a live audience to emphasize a focused and substantive discussion.

“I want a debate with no audience,” Biden said, advocating for an equitable “man-to-man” setup held through a television broadcast network rather than the standard commission.

Biden sees the debates as a pivotal opportunity to engage on pressing issues such as reproductive health, economic policies and energy strategies.
