Nike Ends Kyrie Irving Partnership Following Antisemitism Controversy

Nike officially cut ties with Kyrie Irving on Monday (December 5).

The company dropped the Brooklyn Nets guard after he posted a link to an antisemitic film on Twitter in October. Kyrie Irving’s agent Shetellia Riley Irving confirmed the split in a statement to CNBC.

“We have mutually decided to part ways and wish Nike the best in their future endeavors,” she said.

The Athletic’s Shams Charania was the first to report on the end of Nike’s eight-year partnership with Kyrie Irving. The NBA star initially reacted to the news by posting gifs on Twitter.

“There’s nothing more priceless than being free,” one of the gif’s text read.

A few hours later, Kyrie Irving shared more thoughts on the split. He thanked fans who purchased his Nike releases.

“Anyone who has even spent their hard earned money on anything I have ever released, I consider you FAMILY and we are forever connected,” he tweeted. “It’s time to show how powerful we are as a community.”

He added, “To my Tribe : ‘I am because you are.’ I pour libations and pray for all of my people today and everyday. I am. Hélà.”

Last month, the Brooklyn Nets suspended Kyrie Irving for posting an Amazon link to an antisemitic film and initially refusing to apologize for it. Nike also suspended its relationship with the 30-year-old point guard.

“At Nike, we believe there is no place for hate speech and we condemn any form of antisemitism,” Nike said in a statement. “To that end, we’ve made the decision to suspend our relationship with Kyrie Irving effective immediately. We are deeply saddened and disappointed by the situation and its impact on everyone.”

Kyrie Irving later apologized and rejoined the Brooklyn Nets. He returned to the court after serving an eight-game suspension on November 20.

Lil Wayne Claims Self-Defense In Response To Ex-Assistant’s Assault Lawsuit

Lil Wayne fired back at a lawsuit filed by his former assistant Andrew Williams, who accused the 40-year-old rapper of assault.

According to court documents obtained by Radar Online, Lil Wayne asked a judge to throw out the lawsuit. The Young Money founder argued he acted in self-defense and didn’t inflict any injuries on Williams.

Earlier this year, Willams sued his former boss for allegedly punching him. He was fired after the incident.

Willaims claimed he tried to intervene in an altercation between Lil Wayne and a pilot on a private jet at a terminal in Los Angeles. The lawsuit accused Weezy of punching Williams in the jaw during the incident, which occurred in June.

The punch allegedly caused extra damage due to “numerous rings and large jewelry” on Lil Wayne’s hands. Williams said he got off the plane and went to urgent care for treatment.

Williams sued his ex-boss for assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence and wrongful termination. Young Money Entertainment and Signature Flight Support were also named as defendants in the lawsuit.

Lil Wayne said his former assistant wasn’t wrongfully terminated. The New Orleans native wanted the lawsuit to be dismissed, claiming Williams didn’t “exercise reasonable care and diligence.”

Takeoff Suspect Allegedly Planned To Go On Vacation After Rapper’s Murder

An attorney representing Takeoff murder suspect Patrick Xavier Clark denied allegations claiming Clark tried to flee to Mexico at a court hearing on Monday (December 5).

Clark’s lawyer Letitia Quinones admitted her client purchased tickets to go to Mexico, but she insisted it was a pre-planned vacation. Quinones said Clark, 33, wasn’t trying to flee the country to escape arrest.

“There’s other circumstances surrounding that,” she told reporters. “That was something that was already pre-planned. And it was canceled before he was arrested. I think that’s important. He wasn’t trying to go anywhere.”

Police said Clark had a passport and a large amount of cash on him when he was arrested for Takeoff’s murder. Prosecutors believed he was a flight risk.

A judge set Clark’s bond at $2 million. Clark’s lawyers asked for a bond reduction hearing at Monday’s court appearance.

Clark was arrested and charged with Takeoff’s murder on December 1. Investigators used videos, prints from a wine bottle, phone records and a vehicle to help identify Takeoff’s killer.

“We had to rely on a large volume of video, cell phone, things that surfaced over time,” Homicide Division Sgt. Michael Burrow said. “We had to sift through that, physical evidence, shooting evidence and things that surfaced over time.”

Takeoff was shot and killed at a Houston bowling alley on November 1. He was 28.

Milo Yiannopoulos Fired From Ye’s 2024 Campaign; Admits Trump Dinner Was A Set Up

Rapper Kanye West is distancing himself from Milo Yiannopoulos, a voice for the far-right who had been picked to work on Ye’s 2024 presidential campaign.

According to the Daily Beast, the producer-turned-rapper-turned-designer-turned-politician fired Yiannopoulos after appearing in several media appearances on behalf of the Grammy award-winner.

The reason? Rumors say that he has been involved with much infighting within Ye’s camp.

Yiannopoulos said in a Sunday post on Telegram, the split was a “mutual” decision.

“Ye and I have come to the mutual conclusion that I should step away from his political team. Ye is a genius whom I have come to love and respect. We remain friends” Yiannopoulos wrote, “I will continue to pray for Ye and all his endeavors.”

The breakup happened a little over a week after Kanye announced he was joining the team on Friday, Nov. 25th.

Yiannopoulos popped up in the Kanyesphere when Ye attended a dinner at former Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home on Tuesday, Nov. 22

According to NBC News, Yiannopoulos said he was the one to arrange the dinner between Ye and Trump, where Ye also brought white supremacist Nick Fuentes to attend, as an effort to “make Trump’s life miserable.”

He said, “I also wanted to send a message to Trump that he has systematically repeatedly neglected, ignored, abused the people who love him the most, the people who put him in office, and that kind of behavior comes back to bite you in the end.”

Fuentes said that was not true.

Both Yiannopoulos and Fuentes were removed from Ye’s Twitter account on Thursday, Dec. 1.

GMK Speaks On Working With Future His New Album “Born To Be Free” And More

GMK has been through hell and back, and he’s here to tell his story through his music. From multiple run-ins with the law to experiencing mistreatment behind bars, the rising star creates his own version of heartfelt, pain music, speaking nothing but the truth in all his songs.

Originally hailing from Jacksonville, Florida but now based in Houston, Texas, GMK is excited as ever to be releasing his highly-anticipated debut album titled Born To Be Free.

The 15-track project features standout appearances from Future, Toosii, and frequent collaborator Yungeen Ace. It’s also home to previous singles “Get Back” feat. Lil Kooley, “Free Ksoo” featuring Backstreet TK and JayDaYoungan, and “Letter To Yasir.”

Speaking on the project, GMK states, “I want people to listen with an open mind, listen to the lyrics. Take every song for itself, because every song delivers a different message. All the messages accumulated still deliver the same message, Born To Be Free. Tap in and think about that when you vibing. But most of all, enjoy the music. Because that’s what I do it for.”

AllHipHop spoke with GMK to discuss the new project, the cover art, the making of “Free Ksoo,” collaborating with Future, “Hood Vet” with Yungeen Ace, and more!

AllHipHop: How are you feeling? Happy release day!

GMK: I appreciate you, I’m feeling good. I keep refreshing and it keeps going up, so it’s doing what it’s supposed to. It’s been a long time coming.

AllHipHop: You’ve been working on this since you got released on October 1st, 2021. How’s it feel to have it out?

GMK: I feel the progress, I see the progress so it feels good. But I still don’t feel complete. I’m still not out of that grind mode, I’m still not out of that drive mode. I’m still turning up. I’m already thinking about when I’m going to get back in the studio, what my next project gon’ be. I’m ready to grow. I want to snowball this s###.

AllHipHop: Why’d you call it Born To Be Free?

GMK: That was a logic that I came up with, going through all the s### that I went through in life. At the end of the day, regardless of what nobody was going through, regardless of our different perspectives on situations, everybody’s born to be free. We gon’ thrive the best when we’re in our freest environments. That won’t always be physically, sometimes that be mentally. Wherever you free at, wherever you thrive at, wherever you prosper. Everybody’s born to be free, just have their own s### going on.

AllHipHop: What’s the meaning behind the cover art?

GMK: The cover art was so meaningful to me. They’re both me. The way that the cover art was made I basically took half of my mugshot and half of a more recent photo to show the contrast. I had it with a lot of memories. If you look at the middle left, that’s my little brother. He got 17 right now. That’s who I be talking about. You got the bottom left, that’s one of my homeboys. He passed away. Bottom right, you got Ksoo. Middle right, you got my son. My first son I had when I came home. Top left, you got a picture of me on a video visit when I was doing 23 hour lockdown in the box. Top right, you got a most recent photoshoot that I had. You see the jewelry, you see everything. I did that to show now from then, n*gga had to go through a lot.

AllHipHop: I want to touch on “Free Ksoo” real quick. I was watching the music video and it was so crazy to see him being handled like that by the correction officers.

GMK: That’s a b#### ass officer though. That b#### ass officer was in there with me when Ksoo and I was in the room together. He’s inhumane, they know what’s going on in there. They overlook it because they feel like we got it good or some s###. Because they see who you is, they see what you done made. But they don’t know what you’ve been through to get through that. They see you in there and feel like you got clout or you’re a rapper, and they try to make an example out of you.

AllHipHop: What was Ksoo’s reaction to the song?

GMK: Ksoo loves the song and the video going dumb, we about to hit million in under a month. Ksoo loves that s###. At the end of the day, he going through what he going through, but he got high spirits. Everything’s looking good.

AllHipHop: Talk about having JayDaYoungan in the video too.

GMK: Okay, so JayDaYoungan himself wasn’t in the video. What happened was, that’s JayDaYoungan’s brother. Me and Jay were gonna make the “Free Ksoo” song, we had locked in the studio. Unfortunately, we had to leave earlier. Me and Jay was talking throughout that week, he was supposed to come back out and finish it. We had literally started the song a week before he passed. He never got the opportunity to finish it.

All he had was me and him going back at first. We still wanted to produce the “Free Ksoo” song and push that, and now it’s meaningful because it’s Forever 23. We’re going to put it all together and send it that way with a bang. I’m thinking who will be best for it? Who better than Ksoo’s blood cousin, my main man. I put my spin on it, all of us did our thing. Whenever we get together, the songs go down like that.

AllHipHop: Someone said they love the whole album, it’s a masterpiece.

GMK: Nah for real for real. It took me a long time to make an album. A lot of songs were written without no beat. I just dropped the video for “Out For The Season,” I wrote that I wrote that whole song in the box. Without no beat, without nothing. I just wrote it with a pen.

AllHipHop: How do you find the beat afterwards?

GMK: By the grace of God. It be so hard to find it, that’s what be taking so long for the tape. I be taking so long. They send me beatpacks, I’m scrolling through the beats. I’m trying to see what fits, but I ain’t gon’ force nothing. I gotta feel it.

AllHipHop: Definitely want to touch on “Dark Days” with Future.

GMK: I f### with that track. To me, that was one of the most significant tracks I had made because it was something I had waited a minute for. I ended up being in the studio with Future. I was listening to my music, he was showing me s###. This right before he dropped his last project. He was showing me some songs the week before they had dropped. He playing music, I’m playing mine. When I get to playing mine, “Dark Days” came across. It was a song I already had complete, but he said “load it up, I want to put something on this.” I loaded it up, his engineer cooked it all up and got it right. Opened a verse for him and he slid.

AllHipHop: How did y’all tap in in the first place?

GMK: Through Scooter. I f### with Scooter for real for real. I f### with Scooter in general, whether it’s on some studio s### or not. If I’m in the same city with bruh, we tap in. I pull up.

AllHipHop: What about “If I Called” with Toosii?

GMK: We already knew who each other was, but Toosii showed love when I came home, definitely. I always had f##### with his style of music. I f### with more that melody too sometimes, so I really wanted to tap in with that. I ended up getting that sample beat sent to me. When I did that, I knew what it was. Off the bat when I made it, I said oh yeah, I need to put Toosii on this b####. I sent it to him, then we ended up being in the studio together in Atlanta one day. He hopped on the verse and we made it.

AllHipHop: Do you have a favorite song on the album? I know they probably change every day.

GMK: It’d definitely one of the melody songs. It’ll probably be out of “Out For The Season” or “Letter to Yasir.”

AllHipHop: I love “Letter to Yasir,” That video was so beautiful.

GMK: That’s what I’ve been on lately. I’ve been doing my run and guns. All my videos, I want to be more personal. I don’t want everything to be me performing and singing songs. I want people to see what I’m talking about and feel my perspective, so that’s what I tried to do for “Out For The Season.” Show people know where I was from, everything like my family.

AllHipHop: You and Yungeen Ace have bangers on bangers, but talk about “Hood Vet.” Was that just one of them ones you guys made?

GMK: That’s crazy because me and Ace just got off the phone talking about “Hood Vet.” I might end up shooting a video to that. This was towards the beginning when I first came home, so I wasn’t really booking a whole lot of sessions. Ace was working on his All On Me tape at the time, so we was in the studio every night. I’d pull up and be vibing. But I hop on the mic every once in a while. If he got a little block, I might try to lay some s###.

I was more so listening to beats and trying s###. I just felt the beat. I don’t even be high in the studio, just feeling s###. I felt the beat and that’s what I produced, he hopped right on it. We made that song in under an hour, but it’s a great song. At the time, it was definitely one of my top 5 songs. As the months go by, I feel I make better songs, new songs every day. But it’s a great ass song. Everything on the tape is pressure.

AllHipHop: Ace said this is your first project ever?

GMK: Yeah, this is my first project that I ever dropped, ever. I’ve never dropped a mass collection of music.

AllHipHop: Why is that?

GMK: Just circumstances. Anytime I was building up or I had an idea for a project, life had obstacles in the way. I come home or whenever I overcome whatever I overcome, now I got a whole new idea for the project. I already had it to myself. In the room, I sat there with me and Ksoo. I said I’m a make my s###, I’m a call my album Born To Be Free. We’re like that’s a bet. He’s like “that s### raw.” [laughs] See but as far as this mug shot right here, I was trying to obtain my juvenile mugshot. I had a mugshot from when I was 14, but I wasn’t able to get it. Just legal issues, so I went with the next best choice.

AllHipHop: What was GMK like at 14?

GMK: GMK at 11…hmmm. Like a little parana or some s###. [laughs]

AllHipHop: Yungeen Ace said he can’t wait for you to reach your full potential. Where do you see your full potential? What does that look like?

GMK: I don’t know, I know it’s up though. I gotta see which way Allah takes me, but I’m happy with how far I made it right now too. I’m not satisfied, but I’m happy. I’m ready to keep leveling up, keep progressing. This the first tape and look how that s### turned out, off the muscle. Everything on the tape off the muscle. It wasn’t no label s###, it wasn’t no payments or nothing. Everybody was showing me love, I was showing them love. They locked in, it was all a vibe. Everything was creative ability.

Carlos Cole’s Journey From Ruins to Greatness

Many people hide their challenges to protect their image or to seem better than they are, especially if the story involves jail time. However, telling your success story and including the challenges and lessons learned will significantly impact society. Speaking your real account with your identity, trials, and success is rare nowadays. People tend to hide parts of their stories or change them to fit the perspectives they want others to see. However, the angle of Carlos Cole’s story is different. Carlos is an artist and manager popularly known as Slo. He talks about his life full of misfortunes and mistakes, hoping it will help others.

Carlos narrates how he went from being a kid to going in and out of jail. However, after completing his five-year jail term in 2013, he immediately enrolled in college. In his first year, Carlos finally managed to get full custody of his son, which was a great win for him. He went ahead to graduate with an associate degree in criminal justice. With life experience and education, Slo has offered 1,000 volunteering hours at Walden. He is also a counselor to teens at Southern Maryland Youth Home.

Looking at his life, Carlos notes that when it comes to challenges, he has had a bigger share of them than most. One of his biggest challenges was being separated from his kids and providing for them while in jail. However, the stigma he has to bear in society as someone with a record is worse. Trying to fit into a judgemental society is a huge challenge.

He says he has been denied many jobs despite being overqualified for the positions, all because people will always look at his past, which is changed and forgotten. However, he strives to maintain a positive attitude to rise up to these challenges, always searching for a way out. He also notes that his life on the streets makes it easier to adapt to any situation.

Slo believes that there are no rules in life and that the world never plays fair. Therefore, you should constantly evaluate your actions, work hard, and always put God first to overcome obstacles. For Slo, selling drugs at an early age was a decision that landed him in trouble but eventually led him to a greater life.

Despite all the challenges, Slo is determined to become a top-five manager with a great team of artists who have diverse musical talents. Slo’s dream is to buy his mom and family a mansion and let them enjoy the fruits of his labor. He is also working on becoming a motivational speaker to encourage others and stop people from making the bad decisions he did. In a nutshell, Carlos Cole is the true definition of a star rising from ruins to prosperity.

President Biden Issues Statement After Kanye’s Hitler Comments; Natalie Portman Says Antisemitism Is “Painful And Frightening”

Natalie Portman posted screengrabs of tweets from U.S. President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris condemning anti-Jewish sentiments and hate speech.

Biden seemingly wrote his tweet on Friday in response to the controversy surrounding Kanye West.

The rapper, who has been making antisemitic comments on social media and in interviews since early October, hit headlines on Thursday when he praised Adolf Hitler and the Nazis during an appearance on Alex Jones’s Infowars show.

Portman has described the rise in antisemitism as “painful and frightening.”

A post shared by Natalie Portman (@natalieportman)

In an Instagram post on Sunday, the “Thor: Love and Thunder” actress sent “extra love” to her fellow Jews amid the rise in antisemitic comments on social media.

“Seeing the re-emergence of antisemitism makes my heart drop,” Natalie wrote in her post. “This hatred must be combatted with boundless love for each other.”

The actress continued, “Today, I send extra love to my fellow Jews. And I send love to all those standing with us against these violent words and actions. It’s been painful and frightening to listen to, and I’m extremely grateful to those who continue to speak up against antisemitism with us, and against all forms of racism.”

On her Instagram Stories, the Oscar-winning actress shared an article from The New York Times about the rise in hate speech on Twitter since Elon Musk’s takeover in October.

According to the report, antisemitic posts increased by 61 per cent in the two weeks after the tech billionaire’s acquisition, a claim he called “utterly false” on Twitter.

DJ Akademiks Dubs Lil Baby As “Short Bus Baby”

Lil Baby earned his third #1 album when It’s Only Me debuted atop the Billboard 200 in October. The project contained a few bars apparently directed at controversial media personality DJ Akademiks.

“Really straight to war, n#### can’t beat me. Akademiks know he ain’t as rich as me. Brodie’s ready to eat for a twenty-piece. I ain’t got nothing to say to you mini-mes,” rapped Lil Baby on the “From Now On” song featuring Future.

The “Top Priority” track also included Baby saying, “Academics n##### think they can’t get touched. I don’t be on computers much. CED turned me on to YouTube. I keep tryna tell em I’m different from what they used to.“

VladTV recently caught up with DJ Akademiks. During the sit-down interview, Ak addressed Lil Baby’s perceived It’s Only Me lyrics about him. The Off The Record podcast host slammed the Quality Control recording artist.

DJ Akademiks Says Lil Baby Is Battling Percocets & Demons

“My new nickname for Baby is Short Bus Baby,” DJ Akademiks told DJ Vlad. “He’s clearly just not that smart… Because of my history with him, he thought I was talking about him when I wasn’t talking about him. He hit me up privately, I explained to him I’m not talking about him, and he was still super upset.”

In response to “From Now On,” Ak also added, “I didn’t think that was a slight. I just thought that was him being stupid. He has one of those Tourette’s moments every now and then. You see him in the corner, he’s just punching at the air, he’s just flipping the water bottle. He’s battling the Percs and a lot of demons. I get it, wasn’t mad at that.”

DJ Akademiks does believe Lil Baby’s “Top Priority” bars can be taken as a personal threat. The Jamaica-born YouTuber offered a veiled warning of his own by claiming the media has the power to shape the general public’s opinions of celebrities.

“Some people said, ‘Oh, it’s not a threat.’ I took it as a threat. Here’s the thing, I’ve said this to every rapper in the game, you will never win versus the media. I don’t know why rappers go at the media. You’ll never win,” stated Akademiks.

Baby Previously Claimed His “Top Priority” Bars Were Not About Akademiks

Lil Baby discussed his shots at DJ Akademiks during an appearance on The Breakfast Club. The Atlanta native explained, “I said, ‘Academics n##### think they can’t get touched,’ meaning somebody that be on the computer all day. It wasn’t really saying him.”

However, The Breakfast Club interview also included Baby telling the radio hosts, “But, I seen another interview where [DJ Akademiks] was like, ‘Rappers broke and lease their cars.’ Stop playing bro… He [compares himself financially to me] all the time, though… Yeah, with me. Why he say me?”

Lil Baby’s It’s Only Me opened with 216,000 first-week units. He previously made it to the pinnacle of the Billboard 200 chart with 2020’s My Turn and 2021’s The Voice of the Heroes collaborative effort with Lil Durk.

First-Week Sales Projections For Metro Boomin’s ‘Heroes & Villains’ Are In

According to HitsDailyDouble, Metro Boomin’s Heroes & Villains will rack up 140,000-150,000 units in its first week of release. The 15-track project will likely compete against Taylor Swift’s Midnights for the #1 ranking.

Yung Miami Suggests Celebs Are Scared To Appear On Her ‘Caresha Please’ Podcast

Caresha “Yung Miami” Brownlee broke out as one-half of the City Girls rap duo along with Jatavia “JT” Johnson. However, 2022 also saw Yung Miami make a name for herself as the host of Caresha Please.

Since its launch in June, Caresha Please featured Sean “Diddy” Combs, Kevin Gates, JT, Saucy Santana, Megan Thee Stallion, Saweetie, and Latto. The conversations regularly focus on the guests’ careers and personal lives.

Are other celebrities now afraid to appear on Yung Miami’s Caresha Please podcast? According to Caresha, that could be the case. She even jokingly threatened to shut down the show because of an alleged fear of being on the show.

“I might have to cancel #Careshaplease n##### scared of the smoke 🥴🫠😂,” tweeted Yung Miami on December 4. She also added, “I ain’t got time to be tip-toeing around questions did you f### whataname. 😂 #Careshaplease.”

In September, Yung Miami still seemed invested in building a media empire. She even referred to herself as “the Black Oprah” which raised a few eyebrows considering billionaire media personality Oprah Winfrey is an African-American woman.

Caresha Please has already made a cultural impact in its short run. The Revolt interview series tied with N.O.R.E and DJ EFN’s Drink Champs for a Best Hip Hop Platform victory at the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards.

In addition, Yung Miami will make her acting debut in season 2 of Starz’s BMF drama. As part of City Girls, she contributed to the Platinum-certified, Top 40 hits “Act Up” and “Twerk” featuring Cardi B.

City Girls’ “Good Love” featuring Usher peaked at #70 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart earlier this year. Yung Miami also appeared on Diddy’s 2022 single “Gotta Move On [Queens Remix]” with R&B singers Bryson Tiller and Ashanti.

Bisexual Rapper Taylor Bennett Reacts To Boosie Badazz Claiming Dwyane Wade Is Gay

It appears the war of words between Boosie Badazz and the Gabrielle Union/Dwyane Wade family continues. Chicago-bred recording artist Taylor Bennett has jumped into the feud too.

An old clip of Gabrielle Union blasting Boosie Badazz resurfaced online in recent days. The veteran actress took issue with Boosie’s constant negative comments about Dwyane Wade’s transgender daughter Zaya Wade.

“He’s so preoccupied,” said Union about Boosie in an interview with Jemele Hill posted in November 2021. “It’s almost like ‘thou doth protest too much Lil Boose’. You got a lot of dick on your mind.”

Boosie Badazz took to Twitter to fire back at the Bring It On movie star. The Baton Rouge-bred rapper decided to verbally attack Union’s husband Dwyane Wade, suggesting the NBA legend is sexually attracted to men.

“THE WHOLE WORLD [KNOWS] I LOVE WOMEN [AND] THE WORLD [KNOWS] YOUR HUSBAND [LOVES] DICK‼️I HOPE U DON’T THINK BLACKS LOOK AT YALL LIKE A POWER COUPLE😀THEY DONT‼️” tweeted Boosie.

The 40-year-old southern rapper continued, “I HAD REFUSED TO TALK ABOUT YALL IN INTERVIEWS [AND] HEAR YOU GO‼️ GO BANG HIM WITH THAT D#### [AND] WAIT ON A SCRIPT U LIL WHITE GIRL💁‍♀️.”

Boosie Badazz’s reaction to Gabrielle Union’s year-old comments went viral on social media. Hollywood Unlocked reposted Boosie’s tweet on Instagram. Openly bisexual rapper Taylor Bennett then left a comment under that IG post.

“I love Boosie but the way he keeps [at the Wade-Union] family is BOGUS,” wrote Bennett on Sunday night. “You don’t got to embrace it or support it but I see folks talking bout gay stuff every day.”

Taylor Bennett came out as a member of the LGBTQ+ community in 2017. Chance The Rapper’s younger brother made the announcement the day before he turned 21 years old. Bennett presently has two children with Kayla Moore.

As far as Boosie Badazz, the “Wipe Me Down” rhymer has also been an outspoken critic of openly gay recording artist Lil Nas X. Last year, Boosie called Lil Nas a “f*ggot” and told the “Old Town Road” hitmaker to commit suicide because of his sexuality.

Gabrielle Union is not the only high-profile person to question Boosie Badazz’s own sexuality. During an October 2020 episode of the Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson podcast, professional boxing icon Mike Tyson suggested Boosie may like homosexuals or be a homosexual himself.

Akon Doubles Down On Backing Kanye West’s Right To Praise Adolf Hitler

Kanye “Ye” West continues to make headlines with his antisemitic rhetoric. While many media figures slammed Ye for his controversial comments, Akon shared a different reaction to the situation.

In October, Kanye West sparked a media firestorm after tweeting that he planned to go “death con 3 on Jewish people.” The 45-year-old rapper also publicly expressed his appreciation for Adolf Hitler and the Nazi regime.

Hitler oversaw the Holocaust genocide which led to the systematic murder of an estimated six million Jews in Europe. The Nazis also persecuted Black Germans and other non-Caucasian groups as well as disabled people and homosexuals.

Apparently, Akon still supports Kanye West despite his offensive opinions about the Jewish community and Nazi Germany. The Senegalese-American singer recently made an appearance on Sky News, discussing Ye’s move toward antisemitism.

“I’m a backer of the right to believe what you want to believe,” said Akon. “Now, the day me and him have a conversation, I will give him my point of view on why I disagree and he may come back and say, ‘You know what? You’re right.’ Or he may say, ‘I’m not.’”

The “Locked Up” performer added, “Those comments [by Ye] don’t really affect me personally, and I think if everyone takes it that way, then it’s different. And if it does affect you personally, then find a way to actually respond in a way that that conversation can be reciprocated.”

Akon received some online backlash following his interview with Sky News. Instead of walking back his takes on Kanye West, the Konvict Muzik label founder doubled down on his views.

“I clearly do not agree with Kanye’s [remarks] about Hitler. I am simply saying that everyone should have the right to their own opinion. Doesn’t mean we will always agree,” tweeted Akon over the weekend. That Twitter post garnered more than 13,000 likes.

U.K. Rapper Pa Salieu Jailed Over Mass Brawl, Sentenced To 33 Months

Pa Salieu has been sentenced to 33 months behind bars after taking part in a street fight outside a bar in England in 2018.

He was charged with violent disorder and possessing a bottle as an offensive weapon after being accused of being part of a group that chased a man outside a nightclub. The brawl allegedly broke out after the rapper’s friend, Fidel Glasgow, grandson of The Specials singer Neville Staples, was fatally stabbed.

Police are still investigating the 22-year-old’s murder, but to date no one has been charged in connection with his death.

As reported by AllHipHop.com, at the trial in March Pa Salieu denied violent disorder but admitted a separate charge relating to violent disorder after the initial fight. He was convicted of possessing a bottle as an offensive weapon.

The victim, known pseudonymously as “Bobby,” was hospitalized for ten days as a result of his injuries. He has since recovered but required “immediate, extensive surgery” following the attack.

Court Rejects Pa Salieu’s Self-Defense Claim

Judge Peter Cooke rejected Pa Salieu’s claim that he acted in self-defense, believing the victim was armed.

During sentencing, the judge said the rapper “helped run Bobby to ground and set about him,” as per the Guardian

He continued: “You are a young man who has already suffered impacts on your career as a result of these proceedings but I observe it is a career that has flourished nonetheless.”

He also expressed sympathy for the loss of Salieu’s friend and spoke on how the promising musician used his success to give back to people from disadvantaged backgrounds.

“Those are factors that speak well of you and must be taken into account in your favor,” said the judge. “I want you to focus on getting your life back on track and make the most of your talents, which I trust you will be able to do.”

Elon Musk Wanted “To Punch Kanye” After Banning Him For “Incitement To Violence” Over S####### Post

Elon Musk was driven to violent thoughts by one of Kanye West’s recent social media posts, admitting that he wanted to put hands on the rapper after he posted a picture of a s####### inside a Star of David on Twitter last week.

The Twitter CEO banned Ye and explained his stance during a live Q&A on Twitter Spaces this weekend.

“At some point you have to say what is incitement to violence because it is against the law in the U.S.,” Elon said. “Posting swastikas in what obviously is not a good way is an incitement to violence.”

According to Elon, Kanye’s post caused him to have violent thoughts. “I personally wanted to punch Kanye,” he added. “So that was definitely inciting me to violence. That’s not cool.” Listen to the clip below.

Elon Musk Says He Tried His Best To Keep Kanye West On Twitter

According to Elon Musk, he did all he could to keep Kanye West on the platform but to no avail.

“I tried my best,” he tweeted in the wake of Ye’s suspension. “Despite that, he again violated our rule against incitement to violence. Account will be suspended.”

The same day as posting the s####### image, Kanye West spoke positively of Hitler and the Nazis during an appearance on Infowars. “I like Hitler,” he told host Alex Jones before adding that the Nazis “did good things too.” Ye also called for people “to stop dissing the Nazis all the time.”

On Sunday evening, Kanye West returned to Instagram with a post questioning Elon Musk’s heritage. As reported by AllHipHop.com, the G.O.O.D. Music founder questioned “Am I the only one who thinks Elon could be half Chinese?”

He then claimed the Tesla CEO “is the first genetic hybrid that stuck,” alongside Barack Obama. Ye also called for “a mass investigation of Elon Musk’s childhood photos in the midst of Balenciagagate.”

Suspect In Takeoff Murder To Appear In Court Monday, Self-Employed DJ Says He Has No Income

Patrick Clark, the man charged in the murder of Migos rapper Takeoff, is due in court on Monday following his arrest last week (Dec. 1).

Court documents show Clark listed himself as a self-employed DJ with no wages coming in. He recorded his income as $0.00 and requested a court-appointed attorney, according to KHOU 11

The suspect’s bail was previously set at $2 million as he is a suspected flight risk. Authorities believe he was attempting to flee the country to Mexico, applying for an expedited passport in the wake of the Nov. 1 shooting.

He was subsequently arrested while carrying the passport and a large amount of cash.

If the court grants him bond, Clark faces a number of conditions. These include 24-hour house arrest, electronic monitoring, no firearms, illegal drugs or alcohol, and no contact with the victim’s family.

Cops say Clark was captured on camera outside the Houston Bowling alley at the time of the shooting. He was spotted firing a gun while carrying a wine bottle in his hand. Another camera shows him jumping into a getaway vehicle with the gun still in his possession.

Houston Police believe Takeoff was not the intended target that night but was in the wrong place at the wrong time. They are still appealing for witnesses and say none of the roughly 40 people present that night stuck around to give a statement.

Last week, another suspect appeared in court to face charges in connection with the shooting of Takeoff. Lil Cam a.k.a. Cameron Joshua was charged with two counts of felon in possession of a weapon although cops have not accused him of shooting the rapper.

Boosie Drags Gabrielle Union And Implies Dwayne Wade Is Gay Over Resurfaced Interview

Boosie Badazz has had a lot to say about Dwayne Wade and Gabrielle Union’s child over the years, making numerous comments concerning Zaya’s transition.

Last year, the actress defended her teenage trans daughter during an interview with Jemele Hill published on Nov 7. After sharing that things with Zaya are “so far so good,” she added, “sorry, Boosie,” acknowledging his hurtful comments about her child.

As the audience applauded, Gabrielle Union implied Boosie is in the closet. “He’s so preoccupied,” she mused. “It’s almost like ‘thou doth protest too much Lil Boos’,” she said before adding, “You got a lot of dick on your mind.”

After the host pointed out that Zaya and Lil Nas X “live in his mind rent free,” Gabrielle questioned if there was something Boosie wanted to announce. Check out the clip below.

Elon Musk Reacts To Kanye West Calling Him “Half Chinese” And A “Genetic Hybrid”

Kanye West has returned to Instagram with a dig at Elon Musk just days after being banned from Twitter after posting an image of a Star of David with a s####### inside.

On Sunday (Dec. 4), the G.O.O.D. Music founder called the Tesla CEO a “genetic hybrid” and questioned whether he is “half Chinese” due to his intellectual ability.

“Am I the only one who thinks Elon could be half Chinese? Have you ever seen his pics as a child? Take a Chinese genius and mate them with a South African supermodel and we have an Elon, ” Kanye West wrote.

“I say ‘an Elon’ because they probably made 10 to 30 Elons and he is the first genetic hybrid that stuck. Well, let’s not forget about Obama.”

Kanye then referred to his 2024 presidential run, writing what could be his new campaign slogan: “YE 24, Let’s Unite And Find Out, LUAFO.”

Kanye West Calls For “Investigation of Elon Musk’s Childhood Photos”

In the caption, he labeled himself “Future president of the United States Ye” and called for “a mass investigation of Elon Musk’s childhood photos in the midst of Balenciagagate.” Furthermore, he believes Dec. 4 – “Jay-Z’s birthday” is the perfect day to launch such an investigation.

Elon Musk caught wind of Kanye West’s remarks regarding his heritage but said, “I take that as a compliment.”

According to Ye, “It was meant as a compliment.” He shared a screenshot of Elon’s exchange adding, “Now Obama on the other hand…..” Check out his posts below.

Kanye West still referred to the Twitter owner as “my friend” despite his latest ban from the platform. Last week, after his s####### post, Elon said although he “tried [his] best” with Kanye, he was suspended because he “violated our rule against incitement to violence.”

The Twitter ban came amid Ye’s controversial stint on Alex Jones’s InfoWars. During the episode, he declared he saw good in Adolf Hitler and the Nazis, among other troubling statements.
