Jeezy & Jeannie Mai Reach Divorce Settlement After Months Of Mudslinging

Jeezy and his ex-wife Jeannie Mai finalized their divorce in Georgia on Tuesday (June 11). The former couple settled their contentious dispute and agreed to keep the documents under seal, preventing the public from finding out the terms of the deal.

“The harm resulting to the privacy of the parties and their child, if the documents were made public, clearly outweighs public interest in these specific documents,” the Fulton County Superior Court determined, per Entertainment Tonight.

Jeezy and Mai cannot “disseminate, distribute, post, nor cause the dissemination, distribution of posting of the Settlement Agreement or Child Support Worksheet to any person or in any manner, including but not limited to any form of media, social media, or the internet.” Many details of their legal battle surfaced throughout the divorce proceedings.

Mai accused Jeezy, whose real name is Jay Jenkins, of physically abusing her during their marriage in court documents. She detailed several incidents, including one in which Jeezy allegedly choked her and pushed her down hotel stairs. He denied the allegations.

“The allegations are not only false but also deeply disturbing, especially coming from someone I loved,” Jeezy said. “This malicious attempt to tarnish my character and disrupt my family is ridiculous. It’s disheartening to witness the manipulation and deceit at play and at this time my main concern is being an active father to our daughter as I continue to fight for court-mandated joint custody. Rest assured, the truth will prevail through the proper legal channels.”

Jeezy’s ex Mahlet “Mahi” Gebremedhin, the mother of his eldest daughter, defended him against the abuse allegations.

“For almost four years, Jay’s eldest child lived with us and I was able to see their relationship grow every day,” she declared. “At no point was Jay ever physically, mentally or emotionally abusive to his children or I.”

Jeezy filed for divorce in September 2023. He and Mai fought over custody of their two-year-old daughter Monaco for months.

City Girls Down: Camila Cabello Tracklist Has Fans Grappling With Duo’s Demise

Camila Cabello unveiled the tracklist for her forthcoming album, C,XOXO, listing City Girls members JT and Yung Miami as separate artists despite the two appearing on the same song. The distinction forced fans to cope with the City Girls officially parting ways and billing themselves as solo acts.

JT and Yung Miami began focusing on their solo careers following the release of their 2023 album, RAW. The LP’s underwhelming performance helped convince the City Girls rappers to split.

“I think when the City Girls album just dropped and it didn’t do too well, and we was just trying to do our press run,” Yung Miami said. “The whole rollout of the album was just so bad because we was just in two different spaces. We older now, and she was doing her own thing.

“She on the West Coast, I’m in Miami. I’m doing my own thing. And I felt like naturally, when she doing her own thing, it just worked for her. And when I’m doing my own thing, it worked for me. But when we get together as a group, it just wasn’t connecting. It just wasn’t working no more. So I think we both was at a point where we were just like, ‘We probably should just do our own s###.’”

Cabello’s album will give fans at least one more opportunity to hear JT and Yung Miami together. The project also features Drake, who contributed to two tracks. One of the songs is a solo cut.

“Why does he have his own song? Because selfishly, I just want to hear Drake on my own album,” Cabello explained in May. “I love that for me — it’s like that rebellious mood. Who says I can’t do that? It’s Drake talking his s###.”

C,XOXO is scheduled to drop on June 28.

T-Pain Joins Mac Miller On Iconic List Of Artists To Sell Out Historic Milwaukee Venue—Three Times

T-Pain briefly spoke about the memory of his friend and former collaborator, deceased rapper Mac Miller at one of the most iconic live music landmarks in the country.

On Tuesday (June 10), the “I’m Sprung” vocalist shared a video on Twitter (X) to commemorate selling out Milwaukee’s world-renowned venue, The Rave, on three separate occasions.

The honor reserves a particularly special place in T-Pain’s heart. Not only did he achieve the feat as an independent artist via Wiscansin Fest, he was also able to reunite with his fallen collaborator Miller in spirit.

“So @therave has a giant spooky ass pool on the bottom level,” he began. “And if you sell it out three times, they give you the honor of signing the inside of it. Being included alongside @MacMiller
and so many other legends that have played this venue and selling it out three whole times with @WiscansinFest as an independent artist means so much to me. Again I can’t thank The Rave crew and of course the people of Milwaukee enough.”

In the video of which accompanied the tweet, T-Pain further remarked on the company his signature now keeps. He continued, “Now, among many other greats in here, Mac Miller signed this pool and I get to do it this time. Machine Gun Kelly. Holy crap dude.”

T-Pain and Mac Miller shared a genuine and collaborative friendship, which was initiated byd by mutual respect and creative synergy. Their bond was evident through their music and interactions. T-Pain reminisced about Mac’s infectious enthusiasm and kind spirit, noting that Miller’s positivity and artistic openness made him a cherished friend and collaborator.

Their collaboration on “Dreams,” featured on T-Pain’s 2018 mixtape Everything Must Go Vol. 1, showcased their ability to blend their distinct styles seamlessly. T-Pain has fondly recalled how Mac would light up a room with his presence and how they would spend hours in the studio, not just creating music but also sharing laughter and stories.

Will Smith Slapping Chris Rock Controversy Won’t Go Away

The release of Bad Boys: Ride Or Die revived the discourse surrounding Will Smith’s infamous slap at the 2022 Academy Awards. Two years after the incident, comedian Rob Schneider bashed Smith for smacking Chris Rock during an appearance on The Kyle & Jackie O Show.

“Will Smith is a t###,” Schneider said. “Will Smith has been hiding the fact of who he really is, and it was exposed that night. He’s really an a######. He’s a deep, dark thing—to do that in front of all those people to a really great legendary comedian who’s literally the best comedian of our generation. You wouldn’t have this whole wave of comedy if it wasn’t for Chris Rock.”

He added, “He’s a liar. Complete, utter fraud. It was exposed in that time … Will is a d########.”

Schneider’s comments attracted online attention just days after ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith voiced concerns about Will Smith’s reemergence in the spotlight. Stephen A. Smith believed Will Smith owed the Black community an explanation for slapping Rock.

“You got to have a conversation as to why you did that,” SAS said. “It’s primarily us Black people that have loved and supported you and watched you go on an international stage and slap one of us in the face.”

He continued, “A lot of folks ain’t get over that. A lot of folks find it hard to just go to the movies to watch you. I’m one of those people, and I never missed a Will Smith movie.”

Stephen A. Smith faced backlash for his comments. The talking head declared he would “stand down” in response.

“Throughout Will Smith’s life, not just his career, there has been exponentially far more good than bad, and I certainly did not mean to gloss over that,” SAS said.

Bad Boys: Ride Or Die, the fourth entry in the Bad Boys franchise, hit theaters on June 7. The film raked in $56 million in its opening weekend.

Ali Abulaban killed his wife, 28-year-old Ana Marie Abulaban, and her alleged lover, 29-year-old Rayburn Barron, in October 2021. In May 2024, a San Diego County jury found Abulaban guilty of two counts of first-degree murder.

George Plamondon serves as the TikTok Star Murders executive producer/showrunner. Other executive producers include Zak Weisfeld, Libby Richman, Elizabeth Fisher and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson.

Shannon Sharpe Accused Of Promoting Grooming & Sexual Abuse With Ray J Interview

Ray J recently sat down with Shannon Sharpe for the ex-NFL player’s Club Shay Shay podcast. One part of the conversation included Ray reflecting on his early sexual experiences.

The official Club Shay Shay social media accounts shared a clip of Ray J talking about “dating” older women as a teenager. Shannon Sharpe questioned the now-43-year-old entertainer about those encounters.

“Was it the allure of an older woman, it was the fact that somebody was like 15, 20, 30 years older than you? What was your attraction?” Sharpe asked.

Ray J admitted to being with a 34-year-old woman when he was only 14 years old. Shannon Sharpe then laughed as Ray recalled an adult woman bathing him at the time.

In response, journalist Ernest Owens blasted Shannon Sharpe for promoting that segment. Owens accused the First Take commentator of trivializing the sexual assault of a minor.

“I’ll say this and move on, but I seriously can’t stand to watch or hear another thing about this Club Shay Shay show again,” Ernest Owens tweeted.

He also wrote, “Shannon Sharpe doesn’t address this with concern, and instead marketed this clip on the show’s Instagram as ‘dating older women – Ray J shares his experience.’ A 14-year-old isn’t ‘dating’ a 30-year-old. It’s called grooming. It’s called molestation. It’s called sexual abuse.”

The topic of sexual assault against men and boys generated other headlines in recent days. For example, footage of streamer TyTy James’s sister groping Power actor Michael Rainey Jr. during a livestream sparked online outrage.

Stephen A. Smith Snaps On Peter Rosenberg Over Comments About Caitlin Clark

A media war is brewing between Stephen A. Smith and Peter Rosenberg. The public spat stems from commentary about WNBA star Caitlin Clark.

“That’s why Stephen A. is catching the button because he is jumping in on this train of Caitlin Clark’s not being treated fairly by the world,” Peter Rosenberg stated on Hot 97. “This whole idea that if Caitlin Clark isn’t propped up the right way then it’s not right for the sport. If that’s your take, maybe you don’t really care about the sport and shouldn’t be giving an opinion about it.”

Stephen A. Smith got wind of Peter Rosenberg’s comments and fired back at the Ebro in the Morning co-host on his YouTube channel.

“What? You the White boy now that’s gravitating to Black folks?” Smith asked. “You’re on a station, they playing Hip-Hop music, that makes you down now? You think you know us better than me?”

The First Take commentator also questioned why Rosenberg didn’t call him directly to discuss the situation. Smith then claimed Rosenberg’s Hot 97 colleague Ebro Darden as well as his radio rivals DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God would’ve picked up the phone.

“What kind of b####### is that?” Smith continued. “You trying to gain favor with a different community? What is it? When did I sit up there and try to prop Caitlin Clark up as some victim? I’m talking about the marketing of women’s basketball across the globe.”

Kodak Black Fans Fear He’s Back On Hard Drugs After Bizarre Instagram Live

Kodak Black fans think he’s returned to heavy drug use, just months after claiming he dramatically reduced his Percocet intake.

The Pompano Beach, Florida rapper turned 27 on Tuesday (June 11). He hopped on Instagram Live to celebrate with his fans. He thanked them for their “undying unwavering” support throughout his “constant b#######,” his legal issues and jail spells.

“I love my fans ‘cause y’all special as f###,” he said. “Thank you for all the love.”

However, fans in the live chat were concerned for his health, with Black bizarrely panting, making other odd sounds and rambling incoherently. Some debated whether he was under the influence of drugs or alcohol, while others felt certain he was “tweaking.”

“Y’all watching a man self-destruct,” one person wrote, while another shared,” This is actually sad.”

At one point, fans questioned if Black had fallen asleep after he appeared to doze off. He turned the camera off but continued streaming while snoring could be heard in the background.

In another Instagram Live, Kodak Black dropped abruptly to knock out some push-ups. He also read fans’ comments about him being on drugs, although he didn’t say whether he was using. “Whatever he on I don’t want none,” a fan said while another person questioned if he was on cocaine.

In April, Kodak Black announced, “I never been this happy in my life,” after reducing his Percocet dosage.  “I remember a point in my life when I was doing a lot of Percs. I’m proud of myself.”

According to Kodak Black, he was a much heavier user before he went to jail. “I was taking bro at least 100 Percs. Bro my average was 40 Percocets.”

Blueface’s Mom Pleads With Kim Kardashian To Get Son & Chrisean Rock Out Of Jail

Karlissa Saffold is calling on Kim Kardashian to intervene and get Blueface and Chrisean Rock out of jail.

Rock was dramatically arrested earlier this week on a felony warrant while supporting Blueface in court. Blue’s mother, Karlissa Saffold, took to Instagram on Tuesday, pleading with Kim Kardashian to use her platform to free the incarcerated couple.

“Can you please get my grandson parents out of Jail!!!” Saffold wrote on her IG Story.

Instagram/Karlissa Saffold

In a follow-up post, Saffold denied responsibility for Chrisean Rock’s arrest. “My son and his BM know dam well I ain’t called no cops,” she wrote. “So if that was your reason for calling them God will definitely show the world you playing with the right one.”

In an Instagram Live, Saffold addressed her heated row with Blueface’s father about who should look after their grandchild following Rock’s arrest.

“If Chrisean wouldn’t have left the order for Marsh to get the baby, I do not believe that Jonathan would have left the baby there,” Saffold said. “But he did show his ass, like he didn’t feel like babysitting.”

According to Saffold, Blueface’s dad should have stepped up, knowing both Chrisean Rock Jr.’s parents were behind bars.

“At that point when the mama and the daddy is in jail, that’s not babysitting, that’s called grandparenting. So I didn’t like his verbiage, so I lost my temper,” she added. ”I blew up.”

Oprah Winfrey Shares Health Update After Gayle King Revealed She Was Hospitalized

Oprah Winfrey has reassured fans that she’s recovering and feeling much better after Gayle King revealed the media maven was hospitalized with a stomach virus.

On Tuesday (June 11), Winfrey missed her scheduled Oprah’s Book Club appearance on CBS Mornings. King told viewers Winfrey was unwell and gave a graphic description of her symptoms. However, the revelation sparked concern from fans and made headlines, leaving Winfrey’s phone blowing up.

Later on Tuesday, King shared an update, posting a video call with her best friend to confirm she’s on the mend. “I was so dehydrated,” Winfrey said, explaining her trip to the emergency room. “I had dry mouth, and I couldn’t keep enough water down to get hydrated.”

King said she still appeared a little “weakish,” and Winfrey agreed that she was not yet back to full strength. “But I’m on my way,” she added.

Winfrey said five people in her household had also caught the bug and cautioned viewers to remember to wash their hands.

While social media users speculated that the illness was a side effect of weight loss medication, this was denied. A spokesperson told CNN Winfrey’s illness has “no relation to weight loss medications.”  In late 2023, Oprah Winfrey revealed she had been taking anti-obesity medication.

Explaining her absence on CBS Mornings, Gayle King revealed Oprah Winfrey was hospitalized.

“She had some kind of stomach thing where — stomach flu where stuff was coming out of both ends. I won’t get too graphic,” King said.  “But needless to say, she ended up in the hospital. Dehydration, she had an IV, so it was a very serious thing.”

Meek Mill Scoffs At Trolls Who Clowned Him For African Streaming Question

Meek Mill is challenging trolls on social media in connection to the blunder that resulted in his question regarding streaming patterns within the continent of Africa earlier this year.

On Monday (June 10), Meek exercised his Twitter (X) fingers by responding to a clip circulating on social media of gamma. CEO Larry Jackson’s recent interview with podcaster Joe Budden. In addition to discussing specifics about gamma., Jackson touched on several notable hot-button topics trending in the music industry during the interview, including streaming.

Along with claiming Drake is a bigger artist than acts from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s combined, the former global creative director for Apple Music broke down how different parts of the world consume music digitally.

“You need the technology to be able to distribute music to the some-odd 200 DSP’s around the world. And you think of it as just Apple and Spotify and what not, but, you’ve got like, AudioMack is like the biggest streaming service in Nigeria right now,” Jackson said in part. “Deezer is the biggest one in France, so on and so forth. You have all of these type of regional services that are popular at a regional level, and there’s about 200 of them.”

Several months earlier, prior to Jackson’s interview, Meek attempted to understand the streaming habits of listener’s in Africa but seemingly made the mistake of petitioning Twitter (X) users to help him figure it out.

“This why I asked how music is was consumed in Africa and other parts of the world! Twitter you get attacked for trying to learn information,” Meek wrote in a tweet featuring the clip from Jackson’s interview.

As if the clip wasn’t enough to prove Meek’s question was one of sound business acumen, co-founder of Audiomack Brian Zisook replied in the thread of the tweet to add relevant statistics to help qualify the “Going Bad” rapper’s quest to find “the money trail” in streaming trends in Africa.

“And those numbers are outdated. @Audiomack is on track to reach 10M (!) monthly users in Nigeria alone by the end of the summer. We’re the No. 1 music streaming app in eight African countries and within the top four in four others across the continent,” Zisook wrote.

In January, Meek Mill initially posted, “Do a lot of people play my music in South Africa? I remember having on big show [there a] few years back… how do y’all listen to our music in South Africa???? On what platform or in Nigeria?”

Almost immediately he was mocked by users in South Africa and across the continent and world at- large.

“Normally we use rocks but on a good day we use trees or we get one person to sing for the whole village,” one user wrote, while another user tweeted, “Lol you want to come yet you’re insulting us and looking down?? Anyways, we play your music on a tree… we charge it with oranges.”

Martin Shkreli Tells Company Suing Him Over Rare Wu-Tang Album To “E#########”

Martin Shkreli, the infamous “Pharma-Bro” convicted of security fraud in 2017, has responded to a recent lawsuit filed against him over Wu-Tang Clan’s Once Upon a Time in Shaolin. On Tuesday (June 11), the company suing him, PleasrDAO, tweeted about its intention to allow as many Wu-Tang fans as possible to finally hear the nearly-mythical album.

“Our master plan is to release the music to the public in a way that honors the Wu-Tang Clan and gets them paid while circumventing the streaming oligopoly,” the company wrote. “Every action we are taking is in service of that mission.”

The company believes Shkreli made a copy of the one-of-a-kind album and is suing him for the alleged breach. Shkreli quickly fired back, “e#########, they got paid, multiple times.”

According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, PleasrDAO—the current owner of Once Upon a Time in Shaolin—accuses Shkreli of violating a forfeiture order and diminishing the project’s value.

“The album was supposed to constitute the sole existing copy of the record, music, data and files and packaging,” PleasrDAO’s lawyers wrote. “It now appears, however, that Shkreli improperly retained copies of the data and files at the time of the forfeiture and has released and/or intends to release them to the public.

“Such actions would cause PleasrDAO to incur significant monetary and irreparable harm, and give rise to numerous claims for relief under the forfeiture order and common law.”

PleasrDAO cited several examples of Shkreli, who bought the album in 2015, admitting to copying the album on social media. Following his 2017 conviction, he was sentenced to seven years in prison and ordered to forfeit $7.4 million in 2018. The Wu-Tang album was used to to partially satisfy the forfeiture money judgment.

Fans willing to fly to Australia have a chance to hear the album. The Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) in Hobart acquired the album on loan from PleasrDAO for exhibition “Namedropping,” which aims to “explore status, celebrity and notoriety.”

MONA will hold free, ticketed listening sessions from June 15-24, where members of the public can hear a “curated” 30-minute mix of the album, played from a personalized Wu-Tang PlayStation 1 inside MONA’s recording studio, Frying Pan.

Part of Once Upon a Time in Shaolin was also available to hear in New York City on June 8—now it’s heading Down Under.

President Joe Biden Defends Son Hunter Following Guilty Verdict

President Joe Biden released a statement in support of his son Hunter, who was found guilty of three felony gun charges on Tuesday (June 11). The president accepted the verdict, reiterating his unwillingness to get involved in the case.

“As I said last week, I am the president, but I am also a dad,” the president said. “Jill and I love our son, and we are so proud of the man he is today. So many families who have had loved ones battle addiction understand the feeling of pride seeing someone you love come out the other side and be so strong and resilient in recovery.”

He added, “As I also said last week, I will accept the outcome of this case and will continue to respect the judicial process as Hunter considers an appeal. Jill and I will always be there for Hunter and the rest of our family with our love and support. Nothing will ever change that.”

Hunter Biden was convicted of two counts of making false statements to purchase a firearm and one count of illegally obtaining a firearm while using drugs. Defense attorney Abbe Lowell admitted his client used crack before and after buying a gun.

The defense claimed Hunter Biden didn’t use crack or consider himself an addict at the time of the sale. Jurors were unconvinced, finding him guilty after roughly three hours of deliberations.

“I am more grateful today for the love and support I experienced this last week from Melissa, my family, my friends, and my community than I am disappointed by the outcome,” Hunter Biden said. “Recovery is possible by the grace of God, and I am blessed to experience that gift one day at a time.”

President Joe Biden previously declared he would not pardon his son. Two of Hunter Biden’s charges carry maximum sentences of 10 years in prison. The third has a maximum of five years behind bars.
