Jesse Williams “Not Sweating” NSFW Picture Leak

Jesse Williams has addressed the leaked footage showing him nude in the Broadway play “Take Me Out.”

Speaking to Associated Press on Saturday, the “Grey’s Anatomy” actor discussed the unauthorized video of the scene, which was taken by an audience member and was later released online.

“I’m not down about it. Our job is to go out there every night, no matter what,” he said. “I’m not really worrying about it. I can’t sweat that.”

While he expressed that he was personally unaffected by the video, Jesse stressed the importance of respecting theatre rules.

“We do need to keep advocating for ourselves,” the 40-year-old continued, referring to performers. “And it’s wonderful to see a community push back and make clear what we do stand for, what we don’t.”

Elsewhere, Jesse noted the difference between consenting to perform the nude scene to an in-person audience and an infinite online one.

Theatergoers are required to put their devices in special cases for “Take Me Out,” which can only be unlocked in the lobby.

“Consent is important, I thought. So, let’s keep that in mind universally,” he added. “Theatre is a sacred space, and everybody doesn’t understand that. Everybody doesn’t necessarily respect or regard that in a way that maybe they should, or we’d like.”

Jesse stars as Darren Lemming in the revival of the show, which follows a gay baseball player coming out to his teammates and the press.

He has landed a Tony Award nomination for his performance. Meanwhile, Twitter is still flabbergasted by Jesse’s manhood almost a week later.

Was JT‘s thing hanging out? Last night at the Billboard Music Awards, much was made out of the private parts of JT from the city girls. She has shown up in the rumors a couple of times.

Nevertheless, she wore a stunning silver dress that was extremely low cut and as you know, the internets do not miss anything whatsoever. So some pervert decided to zoom all the way in to her crotch area and see what was going on.

French Montana’s Aggressive Dog Will Cost Rapper Hundreds Of Thousands Of Dollars

A jury has found rapper French Montana responsible for the actions of his dog, Zane.  The Bad Boy recording artist lost the almost four-year lawsuit against him regarding an altercation between his German Shepherd and a man.

According to TMZ, Juan Lomeli filed a complaint against the chart-topper after being bit by the canine. Lomeli, who was working for the artist at the time, said the dog lunged at him before biting his arm — causing severe pain.

The man said his injuries were so substantial that he missed work and the big money that comes from the type of work he does and the clients he services.

A jury awarded Lomeli $129,500 in damages, breaking down his award to $60k in non-economic loss (pain/suffering, etc.), $39,500 in past economic loss, and another $30k for future non-economic loss.

This comes after French Montana has released new music.

Elon Musk Issues Reply To Snoop Dogg’s Offer To Buy Twitter

Snoop Dogg’s suggestion that he might buy Twitter hasn’t gone unnoticed by the platform’s soon-to-be owner Elon Musk.

The “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper responded to news that Musk’s bid to purchase the site is “temporarily on hold” by telling his 20.1 million followers: “May have 2 buy Twitter now.”

He even went on to list his new board of directors as “Jimmy from my corner Fish Fry, Tommy Chung and tha guy with the ponytail on CNBC”, before detailing the changes he would make to Twitter, saying, “First line of business. Free internet on airplanes!!! 29 dollars for 1 hour is bulls**t.”

He added: “Everyone gets a blue checkmark. Even tha bots with 10 letters in their name that hit you in DMs n just say ‘Hello’. Nah f**k those bots.”

And it seems Elon Musk was impressed by the hypothetical situation, quickly replying with two flame emojis.

Last night the Billboard Awards was an amazing affair, hosted by Diddy aka Brother Love. Love had more wardrobe changes than a Broadway musical. My dude brought out all the stops last night. Even French Montana got some time in front of the millions of viewers.

Machine Gun Kelly sparked Megan Fox pregnancy speculation at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night when he dedicated his performance to “their unborn child.”

During the Las Vegas ceremony, the rapper and punk rocker introduced his performance of “Twin Flame” by telling the audience, “I wrote this song for my wife.”

Halfway through the performance, he shocked the crowd by saying, “This is for our unborn child,” as the sound of a heartbeat played.

Machine Gun Kelly and the “Transformers” star have been engaged since January and have previously referred to each other as husband and wife.

However, they have never hinted about expecting a child.

2022 Billboard Music Awards host/executive producer Sean “Diddy” Combs backed bringing “canceled” music acts to this year’s ceremony. In particular, the Bad Boy Entertainment founder made it a point to let the world know Travis Scott will hit the BBMAs stage.

“The mood of the show is about love and forgiveness. As a musical family, none of us are saints; none of us are without things that happen to them in life,” explained Diddy ahead of Sunday night’s show.

Travis Scott Faced Backlash For Astroworld Festival Fatalities

Last year, Travis Scott found himself in some people’s bad graces following the deadly tragedy at the rap star’s Astroworld Festival in Houston. Ten concertgoers, including nine-year-old Ezra Blount, died from accidental compressive asphyxiation as a result of a massive crowd crush at NRG Park.

The 2022 Billboard Music Awards allowed Travis Scott to present his first performance on network television since the Astroworld disaster in November 2021. The 31-year-old Houston native performed “Mafia” for the audience. He also ran through a track titled “Lost Forever.”

New Projects From Both Diddy & Scott Are On The Way

“Gotta Move On” will be officially released through Diddy’s new R&B-centered Love Records label. The song will live on the 52-year-old multimillionaire’s upcoming album which will be out via his new partnership with Motown Records.

Kendrick Lamar is already earning critical acclaim for his Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers studio LP. But how will the West Coaster’s most recent album do commercially?

HitsDailyDouble crunched the early calculations to determine first-week projections for Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. Kendrick Lamar should easily top next week’s Billboard 200 chart according to the website.

Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers is on pace to open with 325,000-350,000 units. If those numbers hold up, Kendrick Lamar will score the largest first-week sales of 2022.

Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers Should Surpass Un Verano Sin Ti

Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti just set the sales benchmark for the year. The 274,000 equivalent album units for the Puerto Rican performer’s album surpassed Future’s 222,000 first-week haul for I Never Liked You.

While Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers is almost certain to become Kendrick Lamar’s fourth #1 album, the initial sales for the project are below 2017’s Damn. That Pulitzer Prize-winning collection debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 with 603,000 units.

However, unlike Lamar’s previous projects, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers is currently a digital-only release. While physical copies of the album are unavailable, listeners have run up the streaming numbers for the set.

Apple Music & Spotify Users Continue To Stream Lamar’s Latest Album

Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers broke the record for the highest first-day streams for a 2022 album on Apple Music worldwide. It also collected more than 90 million Spotify streams in the first 24 hours.

Tracks off the album continue to dominate both Apple Music and Spotify’s daily streaming charts in the United States. HDD expects Mr. Morale to accumulate around 400 million U.S. streams in its first week on DSPs.

On May 14, the city of Buffalo suffered a significant tragedy. A self-described white supremacist killed 10 people at a Tops Friendly Markets grocery store in the New York community. The shooting made international news.

People worldwide reacted to the horrific domestic terrorist attack which apparently targeted Black residents. New York-bred Hip Hop star/politics enthusiast Cardi B also shared her thoughts about the incident.

“Mass shooters are not mentally ill. They have [an] evil mentality,” tweeted Cardi B in response to the Buffalo mass shooting. Her tweet went viral with more than 16,000 retweets and 90,000 likes.

Tucker Carlson Catches Heat For Pushing Great Replacement Rhetoric

The Buffalo shooting suspect reportedly wrote a manifesto voicing support for The Great Replacement conspiracy theory. Far-right conservatives, such as Fox News host Tucker Carlson, claim that immigrants are replacing “legacy Americans.”

Progressive pundits have warned Great Replacement rhetoric is actually a racist dog-whistle that would lead to violence against African-Americans, Latinos, Asians, Jews, Muslims, and other groups. The “grand replacement” ideology is also spreading across Europe.

Tucker Carlson’s name became a Twitter trending topic over the weekend as some users accused him of being partially responsible for radicalizing the Buffalo shooter. Additionally, the 53-year-old political commentator laughed at a New York Times article covering his connection to white nationalism before the shooting.

The Death Toll From Racially-Motivated Mass Shootings In The U.S. Keeps Rising

Numerous racially-motivated mass shootings have taken place in America over the last several years. In 2015, another admitted white supremacist killed 9 African-American worshippers at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in South Carolina.

In 2018, a gunman killed 11 worshippers in Pittsburgh’s Tree of Life synagogue which is believed to be the deadliest attack on the Jewish community in American history. Authorities claim the suspect spouted anti-Semitic comments during the shooting.

A year later, a man killed 23 people at a Walmart store in El Paso, Texas. That 2019 shooting is considered the deadliest attack on Latinos in modern American history. Last year, eight people, six of whom were Asian women, were gunned down at three spas or massage parlors in the Atlanta metropolitan area.

Hip Hop superstar Kendrick Lamar finally returned with a new body of work after five years. Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers garnered widespread acclaim upon its release on May 13.

Even fellow Aftermath Entertainment recording artist Eminem ended his two-week Twitter hiatus to shout out Kendrick Lamar’s latest album. The legendary emcee also tagged Aftermath boss, Dr. Dre, in the tweet.

“Yo @DrDre this Kendrick album is f****** ridiculous. I’m speechless,” wrote Eminem. More than 195,000 Twitter users liked Em’s post about Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers.

Before Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers dropped last week, Kendrick Lamar joined Dr. Dre and Eminem for the Super Bowl LVI halftime show in February. That performance at the Big Game also included appearances by Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, and Anderson .Paak.

Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers features contributions by Blxst, Sampha, Taylour Paige, Summer Walker, Ghostface Killah, Baby Keem, Kodak Black, and more. Sounwave and DJ Dahi handled a lot of the project’s production.

Summer Walker’s Boyfriend Questions Why Doja Cat Won R&B Awards At 2022 BBMAs

Last night, Billboard held its annual Billboard Music Awards, and Doja Cat walked out of the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas with multiple R&B awards. Those victories did not sit well with Summer Walker’s current boyfriend, LVRD Pharoh.

Summer Walker lost the Top R&B Artist, Top R&B Female, and Top R&B Album honors to Doja Cat. LVRD Pharoh took to social media to voice his frustration over Doja being in the R&B section of the ceremony.

“[Billboard] explain to me how a Pop artist wins 2 R&B categories???? And she has 1 R&B song ever??” wrote LVRD Pharaoh on his Instagram Story. “[Billboard,] numbers don’t lie. How did she win?”

Since her arrival on the mainstream music scene, there have been a lot of debates about how Doja Cat’s music should be categorized. Billboard has placed her songs on Pop, R&B, and rap charts. However, Apple Music lists Doja’s Planet Her album as Pop.

LVRD Pharoh returned to Instagram to add more comments about the Billboard Music Awards. He accused award shows of being rigged and posted the hashtag #quitrobbingourblackqueens.”

Apparently, that post by Pharoh riled up some Doja Cat fans. In addition to questions about her specific genre, there have also been a lot of conversations about Doja’s ethnicity. Especially, after the mixed-race performer faced backlash for taking part in alleged white supremacist chat rooms.

“How y’all mad at me cause she’s half white and half African? When did I say she wasn’t black 🤣🤦🏾‍♂️,” posted LVRD Pharoh on Instagram. Pharoh also named other acts as he believes are more deserving winners of the R&B awards at this year’s BBMAs.

LVRD Pharoh Praises Doja Cat As A Pop Act

“No one is knocking [Doja Cat’s] artistry. She’s an amazing POP artist. But R&B is R&B. SZA, Summer, and Giveon should have won because they are the actual [artists] for the category!” LVRD Pharoh also argued.

He continued, “It’s not about Summer winning. It’s about respecting the culture of R&B. In the 2000s, none of this ‘pop-based music’ would have been considered R&B because it’s not that!! God bless everybody.”

For the record, RCA Records promotes Doja Cat as a multi-genre artist. A bio on the label’s website reads, “On her full-length debut album Amala [RCA Records], the Los Angeles singer, songwriter, and producer unlocks a sweetly sexy world soundtracked by wild hip-hop, twisted pop, and smoked-out R&B.”

Russ Millions Reveals New Mixtape is “99% Finished”

Russ Millions has been dropping hints that a new mixtape is on the way, and now, the project is almost complete.  

The U.K. chart-topping drill artist took to Instagram to give his fans the clearest hint yet that new music is imminent. Russ Millions shared a series of images, including his No.1 song plaque and MOBO Award, both of which he received for his 2021 hit song with Tion Wayne, “Body,” featuring Fivio Foreign, Bugzy Malone, Arrdee, Buni, Darkoo, E1, and ZT. 

“Mixtape 99% finished🥵,” Russ Millions penned in the caption. “How many tracks do you want?” he asked his followers.

Taking Drill To The Top Of The U.K. Chart

The South London rapper revealed that the success of his breakthrough hit, “Body” was his highlight of 2021. “Being number one for three weeks, going number one in the first place,” Russ millions told Viper. “The whole period of ‘Body’, 100%. Nothing’s beating that still, number one is too crazy.” 

Released in March 2021, the song accumulated more than 100 million U.K. streams in a single year. Notably, it is also the first drill song to reach No. 1 in the U.K. Chart, an achievement Russ Millions saw coming for the genre. “I was happy that I was part of it, I was always doing Drill though,” he revealed. “I was never gonna stop, I always had faith in it.” 

He also revealed that his debut album will follow the mixtape and is set to be a more introspective project. “I always try to make my work better than my previous work so I’m just going to try and elevate naturally. Probably with my album, I’ll tell more of a story about my life and personal things.” 

Meanwhile, fans of Russ Millions don’t have to wait for the tape for new music from the drill artist. He joined Jr Choi on a transatlantic drill collaboration for the “To The Moon” Drill Remix. Drake & Kanye West Win Big As Diddy & Travis Scott Debut New Songs At The 2022 Billboard Music Awards

Drake and Kanye were big winners at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night (May 15). 

They were among the Hip-Hop artists scoring big wins during the ceremony at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. 

Kanye West received more awards than any other male in 2022, topping six categories, coming second only to Olivia Rodrigo, who received a total of seven wins. Donda was named Top Christian Album and Top Gospel Album on the night. Ye also was crowned Top Christian Artist and Top Gospel Artist, his third time receiving the gospel accolade. Furthermore, he won Top Gospel Song for a record third time and Top Gospel Album for a second time. He has a career total of 17 Billboard Music Awards placing him tied for 7th place on the all-time BBMA leaderboard. 

Drake, who tops the leaderboard added another five awards to his collection, taking his total to 34. He picked up wins for Top Artist, Top Male Artist, and Top Male Rap Artist. Additionally, Certified Lover Boy was named the 2022 Billboard Music Awards Top Rap Album. 

Doja Cat was another of the night’s most celebrated, collecting four awards. Planet Her received Top R&B Album, and she also won Top R&B Female Artist. Top R&B Male Artist went to The Weeknd, who had received the most nominations, 17, going into the event.  

Elsewhere during the event, host Diddy debuted his brand-new song to open the show. He brought out Bryson Tiller, who features on “Gotta Move On,” to perform with him.  

Meanwhile, Travis Scott gave his first televised performance since the Astroworld disaster last fall. He performed his song “Mafia” during the 2022 Billboard Music Awards.

Mary J. Blige Declares “I Was Ghetto Fabulous And I Still Am,” Accepting Icon Award At Billboard Music Awards 2002

Mary J. Blige received the Icon Award from fellow music royalty Janet Jackson during Sunday night’s (May 15) Billboard Music Awards 2022.  

The legendary songstress is the seventh woman to receive the honor, one of whom is Janet Jackson, who collected the award in 2018. The Icon Award has only been presented 11 times in the show’s history.  

BBMA host Diddy escorted Mary J. Blige to the stage as the crowd erupted in applause. “I’m in a dream right now,” she said before thanking the audience at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas. 

“What an icon means to me is overcoming obstacles to accomplish the unthinkable and be widely admired for having influence over a multitude of people and that is what I always represented,” she continued. “I’ve been on this journey for a long time, one that didn’t always look the way you see me now, one that is filled with a lot of heartache and pain but God helped me to channel those experiences and emotions in my music which is where I started in music.” 

The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul

She then went on to say that the introduction of “The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul” was the “beginning of a movement.”  

“Every inner-city girl was recognized in their own and could relate to everything I was saying,” she added. She also acknowledged that “every female artist that came into the game” wanted to emulate her and still does. “I was ghetto fabulous and I still am,” Mary J. Blige said with a laugh. “So ghetto, so fabulous and people were threatened by that. And now everybody want to be ghetto fabulous.”  

 She reflected on how the “message of my music has always been that we are not alone in our struggles. And I’m not alone now. For so long I was searching for a real love but I finally found my real love and that real love is me. Who’s managing Mary J. Blige now? Me.”  

After thanking her family, friends, and her team, she concluded by paying tribute to her “phenomenal, diehard, unbelievable fans.”

Megan Thee Stallion has won the 2022 Billboard Award for the Top Rap Female Artist for the second consecutive year. 

An excited Megan Thee Stallion thanked her loyal fanbase as she received the honor. “Real hot girl s###,” she said, accepting the award. “Thank y’all so much. First of all, thank you to the hotties because without the hotties, there would be no hot girl coach.” 

She also shouted out her contemporaries during her speech after beating out “WAP” collaborator Cardi B and fellow BBMAs performer Latto. “Everybody in this category is a winner,” said Megan Thee Stallion. “I feel like we all been working so hard all year, we been working hard for a long time. And it’s just so nice to be appreciated and recognized by your peers and celebrated by your peers and celebrated by your supporters. And that’s all I gotta say!” she concluded.  

The H-Town Hottie also performed a medley of her newest singles, “Plan B” and “Sweetest Pie,” her duet with Dua Lipa during the ceremony.

Megan Thee Stallion, dressed in a stunning black cut-out bodysuit, twerked and rapped as explosions filled the stage. She first previewed “Plan B” during her set at the Coachella Music Festival, calling it “very m############ personal.” While fans speculated who she was referring to in the lyrics, she dedicated it “to whom it may the f### concern.” 

Meanwhile, the “Body” hitmaker received a prestigious honor from her hometown earlier this month. She was awarded her own day in Houston and received the key to the city during the ceremony on May 1.

Did Freddie Gibbs Get Beat Up In Buffalo, NY And Does A Famous Rapper Have His Chain Now?

Over the weekend, Freddie Gibbs was reportedly attacked during a tour stop in Buffalo, New York. As you already know, this is the home of Griselda Records. Gibbs has a beef with Benny The Butcher, as you already should know. I am big fans of these guys! They have underground hits together!

As you know already, the beefs are often between individuals but when the others get involved then it becomes a beef with everybody. And if you’re going to stop in Buffalo, then you should know that Griselda is super heavy out there.

So, on Saturday, May 14, 2022 Freddie Gibbs showed up at the Town Ballroom to perform for his Space Rabbit tour. I’m not exactly sure where the infraction happened but the Internet says it happened at Dinosaur Barbecue.

The person that did most of the talking, says he witnessed it firsthand and said that Gibbs lost his chain a.k.a. it was snatched. He also said that he had to run and his security did not help.

Now this person claims to have video and says if DJ Akademiks taps in, he’ll post the video. I don’t know what AK has to do with it, but hopefully he taps in.

Nevertheless, Gibbs still performed, so will have to see how it develops.

The other thing that I’ve been told specifically is that now Benny has the chain. I don’t know how my source knows that Benny has the chain, but he told me that Benny has the chain now.

This reminds me of Yung Berg from back in the day if you guys remember that. That’s when the city of Detroit took his Transformer chain and the ice went on a world tour for years. I don’t know if he ever even got that chain back. But it was hilarious.

Anyway, Gibbs and Benny, I hope you guys settle this beef! This is not a good look for anybody!

Janet Jackson Presents Icon Award To Mary J. Blige At Billboard Music Awards 2022

Janet Jackson made a surprise appearance at the Billboard Music Awards 2022 Sunday night (May 15) to present the Icon Award to her friend Mary J. Blige. 

She received a standing ovation while introducing Mary, referencing many of her biggest hits, including “Just Fine” and “No More Drama,” during her speech.  

“Her work has always given us comfort because she sings me, she sings you. I reminisce, but I’m not going to cry because even though sometimes it feels like everyday it rains, I’ve got no more drama,” said Janet Jackson. “I’m just fine with my life, my life, my life, my life in the sunshine.” 

The pair then embraced as Mary J. Blige took to the stage to deliver an emotional acceptance speech, holding back tears as she spoke.  

“It takes a lot of time, hard work and a lot of surviving trials. What an icon means to be is to overcome obstacles…and be admired,” Mary said as she accepted the award. “I been on this journey for a long time and I didn’t always look the way that you see me now. With a lot of heartache and pain,” she added. 

She thanked her family and friends before honoring her fans. “I’m so grateful to have you,” she concluded.

The pair performed together during the “Rhythm Nation” singer’s Las Vegas residency in 2019. Mary shared a photo of them after the show. “About Saturday night……One of the best nights hanging out with my sis, The Queen @janetjackson in Vegas! I had so much fun!! I was so happy to thank you for being so fly and a huge inspiration to me all of these years. Love you ♥.” 

Janet Jackson also shared the same shot. “My sister Mary,” she wrote in the caption. “Nothing like some good girl talk. Thank u for coming by to see me. Had so much fun with u. 💜.”

Tiffany Haddish Talks About Her New Collaborations With Snoop Dogg And Lil Wayne

Tiffany Haddish can’t wait to drop her upcoming collaboration with Snoop Dogg and Lil Wayne.

The “Girls Trip” actress recently revealed she is concentrating on her music career.

During an appearance on “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” she confirmed she has a track in the works with two of the industry’s biggest stars.

“I brought one song to the table, and that’s the theme song for the ‘They Ready’ series on Netflix, the comedy series that I did, and now, we just did another song called Look Like, and I can’t wait for y’all to hear that. It’s me, Snoop, Lil Wayne – it’s fire!”

Tiffany released singles “Too Much” and “Do Our Thing,” which also featured Snoop, in 2020.

B-Real Of Cypress Hill Expresses Issue With Onyx Verzuz

I got struck by lightening!

Last night, there was a Verzuz battle with Onyx and Cypress Hill. It went down in Los Angeles, and it was for a period of time a trending topic on Twitter.

However, this was a bit of a different affair than those in the past. Clearly the monetization machine stepped in and removed the normal community battle from Instagram. This means, you had to be a subscribing member of Triller to access the battle of these two Hip-Hop Titans.

So, most of us didn’t see it, including myself. I was very interested in the battle, but sort of forgot about it until the last minute. And then it became highly problematic to access the concert. Well, this fact did not escape B-Real, the lead rapper of Cypress Hill.

He showed the upmost respect for the powers that be and Onyx, but he says he feels they did not get as much exposure as other battles. This it correct.

I think, in addition to the absence of the Instagram platform, it was overall a marketing fail. They could’ve done a better job at pushing this to us fans. In fact, if I’m being completely honest, they could’ve done a better matchup overall. We love both acts independently, but they are a bit of a mismatch to me.

But the real expresses that there was a boxing match to go along with the battle and that was ultimately the worst part of it all. See what he says below.

Rapper Slim Thug Changes His Name To Big Slim

Houston rapper Slim Thug is changing his name. His reason? He is in his 40s and is no longer thugging.

The rapper who brought the word songs like “Like A Boss,” “I Run the Streets,” and “Welcome 2 Houston” now wants to be known as Big Slim. 

He shared some of his thoughts on his decision in an interview with The Defender, linking it to his new project. He told his fans to “definitely check out the *BIGslim* project. It’s a change in me.”

“I’m growing into a new person,” he continued. “I’m 41. I don’t want to be called Slim Thug.”

“It just don’t fit, you know I’m saying? I really ain’t thuugging out. So, I wanna be Big Slim now. I got big plans…I’m saying so join the journey to see where that goes.”

Some of those big plans include his new 11-track album *BIGslim*. Big Slim is also building up his local community through his company Boss Life Construction, which restores abandoned homes. 

As a result of this investment as a developer, he is helping raise the property value in the Acres Homes neighborhood while also providing low-cost housing for families in need.

“We gonna keep our eyes open. We gonna keep working and climbing up to the next level,” Big Slim continued. “Instead of me staying the same … I’m sure I have a lot more to talk about with this transition.”

Dropping “Thug” from his name may be tactical, as law enforcement cracks down on artists whose names, lyrics, and music videos celebrate the “thug” lifestyle.

As reported by AllHipHop, Young Thug and Gunna have been arrested on RICO charges, with prosecutors using their content, name of their label, and artist characters as evidence of gang activity.
