EXCLUSIVE: Lil Durk Co-Defendant “Cuz” Seeks Protective Order in Explosive Murder-for-Hire Case

The high-stakes legal saga surrounding rapper Lil Durk continues to play out as the rap star gears up for a trial in January 2025.

On Tuesday (December 3), Durk’s co-defendant, Kavon London Grant, aka “Cuz,” filed a motion in federal court to protect potentially dangerous case evidence.

Grant’s legal team requested a protective order, citing concerns that unregulated access to sensitive information could put witnesses, victims, defendants and those prepared to testify at serious risk.

“This case involves significant safety concerns regarding disclosure of names and personal identifying information of victims, witnesses, and defendants,” Grant’s attorney, Peter C. Swarth, explained.

Among the evidence at issue are graphic crime scene photographs, autopsy reports, and statements from protected witnesses, which prosecutors say could lead to retaliation or intimidation if improperly disclosed.

Swarth emphasized the need for strict limits on who can access the materials due to the volatile nature of the case.

The legal battle stems from the August 2022 killing of Lul Pab, born Saviay’a Robinson, a cousin of rapper Quando Rondo, in West Hollywood, California.

Prosecutors allege that Lil Durk, whose real name is Durk Banks, orchestrated the murder as a retaliatory strike for the 2020 killing of King Von, a close associate of Durk’s Only The Family (OTF) crew.

King Von was fatally shot in Atlanta by Timothy “Lul Tim” Leeks, an affiliate of Quando Rondo.

According to federal indictments, Durk offered money and “lucrative music opportunities” as incentives for Robinson’s murder, deepening a long-standing feud between the two rap factions.

Grant is one of five alleged OTF members arrested in connection with the case, alongside Durk himself.

The other suspects— Deandre Dontrell Wilson, Keith Jones, David Brian Lindsey, and Asa Houston—face charges of conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire, murder-for-hire resulting in death, and the use of a machine gun in a violent crime.

Federal investigators claim that credit cards tied to OTF’s music label were used to pay for travel, rental cars, and other logistical elements of the alleged plot, pointing to a coordinated effort to carry out the crime.

The protective order motion reflects the intense scrutiny and danger surrounding the case.

Prosecutors and defense attorneys jointly filed the motion, agreeing to safeguard evidence without compromising the defendants’ ability to prepare for trial.

Lil Durk, who was arrested in October 2024 in South Florida, has pleaded not guilty and remains in federal custody. He faces life in prison if convicted.

Are The New Owners Of Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles Raging MAGA Supporters?

Something crazy has come to light. For years, Black people have been loyal supporters of Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles. We’ve loved their chicken, waffles, and other delicacies, believing it to be a Black-owned establishment. While it’s never been considered the pinnacle of fine dining, we cherished it for its soulful taste and the vibe it offered whenever we walked through its doors.

Now, a new rumor is making waves: Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles may not actually be Black-owned anymore. And when I say “anymore,” you’ll understand shortly.

Roscoe’s was founded by a Black man in the 1970s and quickly became an iconic institution, particularly in Los Angeles. Over time, it expanded its operations and gained recognition in other cities. However, unbeknownst to many of us, the franchise faced significant financial troubles, accumulating a staggering $27 million in debt. In response, Roscoe’s filed for bankruptcy, entered a payment plan, and committed to staying afloat.

This is where things get murky.

I’ve been digging for clear, definitive information about the current ownership of Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles, and the details are elusive. What we do know is that the parent company is called East Coast Foods, but beyond that, it’s hard to pin down specifics. However, one thing is certain: this ownership question has sparked a lot of conversations.

A post shared by Pamela Smith (@blackhomeeducators)

Some rumors (see above video) suggest that the current owners are Trump supporters—yes, you read that right. Allegedly, the folks now running Roscoe’s align with MAGA, the “Make America Great Again” crowd. This claim gained traction after a woman online posted about it, and Joy Reid from MSNBC picked it up. Unsurprisingly, this revelation has led many Black people to reconsider their support for Roscoe’s. To be fair, some had already distanced themselves, given that the menu isn’t exactly known for its health-conscious offerings—but that’s another story entirely!

I’ll continue investigating and share any updates as they come. In the meantime, it might be wise to pause your support for Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles until we get to the bottom of this. Stay tuned!

For the record, this is what AI told me:

As of December 2024, there is no public information indicating a change in ownership; Herb Hudson remains the owner of Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘N Waffles. The company has continued to operate its various locations, although it has faced challenges, such as the closure of its Pasadena branch in June 2024 after 30 years of operation.

EXCLUSIVE: 50 Cent & Young Buck War Over $250K Reignites Over Lack Of Documentation

Young Buck and 50 Cent are still at over that damn $250,000 advance or loan they have been beefing over for almost 10 years.

In a new court filing, Young Buck claims he never received the money, which 50 Cent insists was paid and tied to a 2014 G-Unit Records contract.

The dispute traces back to a deal struck between Young Buck, whose real name is David Darnell Brown, and Fif’s G-Unit Records.

The contract allegedly stipulated a $250,000 advance, but Young Buck asserts in court filings that the payment was never made.

In Young Buck’s 2020 bankruptcy filing, G-Unit made a claim for the $250,000, prompting objections from the rapper.

Initially, the bankruptcy trustee agreed to settle the debt with G-Unit as part of the proceedings, but now, Young Buck’s attorneys argue that the claim is baseless.

They assert the contract fails to meet enforceability standards under New York law, which requires a clear agreement and evidence of fulfillment of key terms.

Adding fuel to the controversy, G-Unit has acknowledged it is “unaware” of any more documentation—such as bank statements or tax records—to substantiate the payment.

Despite G-Unit’s allegations, no evidence has been presented to validate the payments.

“G-Unit would have this court accept that no bank records, business records, or tax filings exist to substantiate these payments,” Young Buck’s lawyer, Keith Slocum, said.

Through his lawyer, Young Buck asked the bankruptcy judge to sustain his objection to G-Unit’s $250,000 claim.

Chip Announces Epic “Grime Scene Saviours” London Concert

British grime legend Chip is following up on the success of his huge new single “Grime Scene Saviours” with an epic 20-MC concert in early 2025.

When the enduring topic of the health of the U.K.’s grime scene reared its head again recently, Chip was ready with any answer. While some have written off the subgenre in favor of drill or other sounds, the North Londoner assembled some of grime’s founding fathers to remind fans why it remains a vital and influential force in British music.

In late November, Chip hyped up fans with the announcement of an impending “ATOMIC BOMB” before unleashing his banger, which included an all-star cast of U.K. grime scene veterans. D Double E, Frisco, Flirta D, Skepta, Bruza, JME, Jendor, Novelist, Jamakabi, and Flowdan joined Chip on the grime champions posse cut.

Then on Wednesday (December 3), Chip announced he is assembling a team of grime heavyweights for an unforgettable performance at Outernet in London on February 20.

Although Chip kept the other performers under wraps, the concert promises to be a nod to grime’s raw roots.

“No f###### PA edits. No MC’ing over vocals,” he announced. “Straight LIVE!!! INSTRUMENTALS. MC’ing!!! GRIME!!! RAW!!!! Mak & Max b2b straight one hour. Just like the set we done at Bape. 20 MC’s… LET’S F###### GOOOO!!!!”

Londoners can buy tickets now for the Grime Scene Saviours concert with the purchase of Chip’s “secret project.” General tickets go on sale this Friday (February 6).

Azealia Banks Fires Back At Matty Healy After He Appears To Threaten To Slap Her In Heated Exchange

Azealia Banks engaged in a heated exchange with the 1975’s Matty Healy on X (Twitter), which quickly escalated into a tense rant filled with insults and threats of violence.

The unhinged back and forth began on Tuesday (December 3), when Banks commented on a picture of singer Charli XCX, writing, “Charli used to be sooo pretty. Ugh.”

Healey’s bandmate George Daniel is engaged to Charli, and he fired back at Banks, from his unverified burner account.

“All the women you attack seem to be culturally relevant, attractive, divisive and NICE people,” he wrote. “I think this makes you jealous cos you’re so talented but everything else about you is a failure. Just rap bro.”

Things went left after Banks compared Charli to Frankenstein and said the singers look like they “share needles.”

Healy unleashed on Banks, warning her, “I am not the one,” before threatening violence.

“I’ll f###### slap you so hard,” he said, “I’ll get a Guiness world record for the highest a rat some b#### calls a wig has ever flown.”

He also vowed to “use my mental illness to full effect,” and “dox and f### you up,” if she ever mentions his fiancée Gabbriette Bechtel.

Azealia Banks Vows To Track Matty Healey Down And Make Him Pay

Although Matty Healy quickly backtracked and apologized, admitting, “I can’t be saying I’m gonna hit a girl that’s insane I’m sorry,” the damage was done, and Azealia Banks unleashed.

“How are you really hurt about what a b#### has to say about another when you’re okay saying you like watching p### with black women being brutalized?” she wrote. “Are u really the n#### charles Xbox is hanging with? My point proven.

“F### your mates honestly,” Banks added. “This is like the third time you’ve come out of your face spewing violence specifically towards black women. Brutalized p###, ice Spice, now you’re threatening to slap me and think a small apology will suffice.”

She then vowed to make Healy “pay” for his threats. “I’ve had enough of n##### thinking my opinion is open season for them to threaten me. He’s going to pay got every last word of it because enough is enough,” she wrote.

Check out some of her other posts below.  AllHopHop cannot verify Matty Healey’s account, which could possibly be fake.

Bhad Bhabie Reveals Post-Cancer Treatment Baby Plans—Fans Have Concerns

Bhad Bhabie is opening up about her future plans, revealing she wants to have more children with boyfriend Le Vaughn once her cancer treatments are over.

A video surfaced online Tuesday (December 3) in which Le Vaughn asks Bhad Bhabie if she wants more children. When she said she wanted to have two more, Le Vaughn asked when.

She replied, “After my treatment,” prompting Le Vaughn to ask her to clarify what treatment.

“We gotta wait until after my medicine,” she said shakily.

However, the exchange left fans unsettled, particularly given Bhad Bhabie’s recent domestic abuse allegation and her recent cancer diagnosis, leading many to voice their concerns on Instagram.

“That’s the look of an abused and scared woman in my opinion,” one worried user shared. “Prayers for her and her child.

Another questioned, “Am I the only one who is concerned for her at this point?” while a third added, “Not him asking ‘what treatment.’ he don’t know what she got going on?”

Bhad Bhabie accused Le Vaughn of domestic abuse over the summer, months after giving birth to her first child.  She also shared graphic images of the alleged abuse.

“I love that man more than I love myself and it’s honestly really sad,” she wrote on Instagram. “But unfortunately this is real life. I know the easy way out is to leave and that’s better said than done. This doesn’t happen this extreme often, but LV definitely has a problem.”

She added,” My point in sharing this wasn’t to attack him, it was for him to see what he does is wrong and too take accountability and make a REAL CHANGE.”

Nonetheless, Bhad Bhabie claimed her daughter’s father was seeking help, and they later reconciled.

Chrisean Rock’s Ex Allegedly Files For DNA Test In Paternity Dispute

Chrisean Rock’s ex is ramping up his efforts to determine if he is the father of her son, claiming he has already taken a DNA test to uncover the truth.

Furthermore, Ronny implied he witnessed the birth of Rock’s son, and he deserves to be in the child’s life.

On Tuesday (December 3), the Baddies star’s old boyfriend, Ronny Doe shed light on the situation during an interview on Instagram Live. When asked if he’s spent time with the boy, Ronny claimed, “I was with Chrisean when her water broke.”

He also implied he was present in the delivery room before hesitating. “Long story short, I seen baby boy when you came out the hospital,” he said. “I’ma just say I know who cut the umbilical cord.”

Ronny also said that while he doesn’t want to “get ahead of himself,” he argued, “That’s my son.”

Later in the interview, Ronny claimed that he filed for a paternity test on November 6 and expected the results by mid-December.

He followed up on his Instagram Story, sharing alleged court documents regarding the DNA test and claiming Chrisean Rock is “evading” service.

Meanwhile, Rock’s recent run-in with her ex caused problems in her recently renewed on-again-off-again relationship with Blueface.

She recalled a conversation with Blue, claiming the incarcerated rapper was furious over the mall encounter. He also questioned why she didn’t get his permission before leaving the house.

She claimed the pair had previously exchanged marriage vows over a jailhouse Facetime call. However Rock began the stream by revealing they’re no longer together.

Rick Ross Taunted By Ex Over Alleged Secret Children, Suggests Vasectomy

Rick Ross is no stranger to getting roasted by Tia Kemp, the mother of his eldest son, William Roberts III.

The outspoken social media personality was back at it again during a recent Instagram Live. This time, Kemp repeated her claims that the Miami rapper has secret infant children.

The topic arose when a fan in the chat asked if the baby in her arms was her and Rozay’s grandson. As usual, Kemp seized on the opportunity to troll her ex.

“Of course not. Look at him real good. It’s no silverback-ed-ness in him,” Tia Kemp replied, using her favorite Rick Ross taunt. “Lil Will ain’t got’s no chirruns yet. He won’t be having none no time soon. He’s only 19 years old. And his daddy having enough for him, he’s already said it.”

Kemp continued, claiming that her son complains that he doesn’t know Rick Ross’ other children.

“I’m just keeping it real,” she added. “He’s not even seeing half of them. I’m serious.”

She then teased Ross, joking about having more children even after your adult kids have reached the age to start their own families, and suggested a vasectomy.

“Anybody that’s still having children while their children are having children, please girl and guys, chop shop that,’ she said. ”Don’t do that to yourself. It’s embarrassing, it’s not too cool at all. It’s the most ratchet thing you could do in your family.”

Tia Kemp Claims Rick Ross Will Dump New Boo Before Christmas

This isn’t the first time Tia Kemp has made wild allegations about Rick Ross or the number of children he has.

Back in January, Kemp claimed Rozay has 10 children, “two of them probably not even a month old.”

She revisited the claims last month while roasting Ross over his new girlfriend.

“Y’all know the girl will be gone in the month,” she said while on Instagram Live. “Probably before Christmas, man. He got too many children he gotta f###### support for Christmas. The b#### ain’t going to get nothing.”

Cardi B Fires Back At Fans Dragging Old Song Snippet

Cardi B went on a tirade against her fans and threatened to disappear after sharing a snippet of an old song on her Instagram broadcast channel.

In the video shared Tuesday (December 3), Cardi is seen rapping along to a song she recorded but scrapped in 2019. “I hate this song,” she admitted in the clip.

It appears some fans didn’t care for the song either and freely expressed their opinions, prompting Cardi B to react on X (Twitter).

“This y yall don’t get s###,” she tweeted before going on a rant in Spaces.

“I really want some of y’all to stop being f###### dumb, stupid and slow, okay? Dumb, just f###### stupid and f###### slow and overly opinionated. Just overly opinionated,” Cardi began.

She then explained why she only previewed the song, noting she explicitly stated her hatred of it but often returns to her old recordings because they might contain gems too good to discard.

“Even if they’re scrapped, I like to rehear s###,” she continued. “Just in case I find a f###### line that I like and I could reuse it, because the song is completely f###### scrapped.”

Cardi B Says Fans Are “Doing Too Much”

However, the backlash was too much for Cardi B, and she plans to keep a low profile for a while.

“Y’all might not even see me for the rest of the f###### year. I’m so over everybody, I need time for myself,” she asserted. “I got like three more bookings, that’s when you’re going to see me. Other than that, I don’t want to deal with nobody, deadass.”

Cardi then referenced her recent revelations about her plans for next year.

“I already know how I’m coming next year, so I gotta focus on myself,” she added. “I got that s### out of my f###### system and y’all just doing too much.”

Meanwhile, Cardi B pushed back the release of the long-awaited follow-up to her 2018 debut, Invasion Of Privacy. However, she promised to deliver the project, alongside other exciting new ventures, in 2025.

Drake Trolls Kendrick Lamar While K. Dot Gives Back At Kids Charity

Drake may have taken his gripes with Kendrick Lamar to his lawyers, but that hasn’t stopped him from trolling the West Coast rapper.

Despite sending shockwaves through the industry with his recent legal action against UMG, Spotify, and others over Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” the OVO boss has remained notably silent since filing his petitions.

However, Drake resurfaced on Tuesday (December 3), popping up during a Kick stream to troll Kendrick Lamar.

Streamer Los Pollos TV was ranting about Lamar’s GNX album, complaining he didn’t want to hear it after listening to Drake’s Certified Lover Boy when the Toronto superstar appeared in the chat.

He borrowed from the viral “Mustard” memes from Lamar’s “tv off” to taunt Lamar while seemingly mocking DJ Mustard’s height.

“We need a donut emoji in the chat custarrrrrdddd,” he joked. Drizzy also dropped a second “CUSTAAAARRRRRD” comment, pinned by Los Pollos.

While Drake was making jokes online, Kendrick Lamar was giving back to children in need. Lamar and his fiancée Whitney Alford helped deliver an unforgettable holiday experience to 500 students from across Los Angeles at the 2024 Baby2Baby Holiday Event.

He joined forces with celebs, including Kelly Rowland and Demi Lovato, at Baby2Baby’s annual holiday distribution event in partnership with Nordstrom, FRAME and LAFC.

Snoop Dogg Surprises Daughter With $1M Wedding Gift

Snoop Dogg revealed on The Jennifer Hudson Show that he has set aside $1 million as a wedding gift for his daughter, Cori Broadus, as she prepares to marry her fiancé, Wayne Duece.

The announcement came during a lighthearted segment, where the legendary Hip-Hop artist and Cori shared intimate family anecdotes about her upcoming nuptials and more.

Snoop disclosed the extravagant gesture during a game called “Snoop & Cori’s Confessions.”

Host Jennifer Hudson prompted the rapper to share the most extravagant gift he’s ever bestowed upon his only daughter.

“It’s the truth, but the only thing about this gift is she never got to open it, or she hasn’t opened it yet,” Snoop said with a grin. “It was a million dollars for her wedding.”

He followed up with a playful jab at himself, joking, “If it was my wedding, I would have spent $100 and $900 would have gone in my pocket.”

Cori and Wayne, who announced their engagement in November 2022, faced a delay in their wedding plans earlier this year after Cori suffered a stroke in January at the age of 25.

The couple’s journey, along with the family’s preparations for the big day, has been captured in an upcoming E! docuseries titled Snoop’s Fatherhood: Cori and Wayne’s Story, which begins airing Thursday.

The episode also sheds light on past grand gestures from Snoop, including the Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon he gifted Cori for her 16th birthday.

The luxury car quickly became the center of a family inside joke when Cori’s mother, Shante Broadus, took the vehicle away as a form of grounding.

“I don’t know what happened, but I bought her a G-Wagon for her 16th birthday, and all of a sudden, the mama had a G-Wagon,” the 53-year-old said, laughing. “Didn’t give it to her, she took it away. Her grounding was taking it away.”

Cori added her own good-natured gripe about the incident, recalling, “She was driving me to the nail shop. I’m like, ‘Mom, you cold. You cold.'”

Christian Combs Faces Assault Lawsuit Linked To Use Of Diddy’s Yacht

Christian “King” Combs, son of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, is facing a new lawsuit accusing him of assault, battery, sexual assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

The legal action, filed by Grace O’Marcaigh, sheds light on troubling allegations that have surfaced against the 26-year-old amid a tumultuous period for the Combs family. Court documents obtained by In Touch reveal that O’Marcaigh, a stewardess in the yachting industry, served Christian with legal paperwork at his father’s Miami mansion, where he’s has been staying since Diddy’s September arrest on federal charges of sex trafficking and racketeering.

According to O’Marcaigh, the alleged assault occurred in July 2022 while she was working aboard a yacht chartered by Diddy.

A post shared by AllHipHop (@allhiphopcom)

In her lawsuit, O’Marcaigh described the environment aboard the yacht as chaotic, claiming it was turned into a “hedonistic environment” filled with alleged drug use and sex work. She recounted an incident where Christian allegedly pressured her to drink tequila with him, later becoming physically aggressive when she refused to comply.

The suit claims Christian “violently grabbed [O’Marcaigh’s] arm,” cornered her in a private room, and attempted to force her into non-consensual acts.

“[O’Marcaigh] was quite scared and realized she was in a very dangerous situation,” the suit reads, adding that her physical resistance ended only when another employee interrupted. O’Marcaigh said she reported the incident to the yacht’s captain, who allegedly dismissed her concerns and forced her to continue serving Christian during the trip.

The latest legal development follows allegations against Christian Combs in March. Attorney Tyrone Blackburn, who also represents O’Marcaigh, announced plans to file a lawsuit on behalf of an anonymous Jane Doe, accusing Christian of drugging and sexually assaulting her. While the specifics of this case remain undisclosed, the accusations add to a growing list of legal challenges facing the Combs family.

Blackburn has a history of high-profile cases against celebrities, including T.I. and Tiny and Nicki Minaj. He is also representing Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones in a separate lawsuit against Diddy, accusing the mogul of sex trafficking, gun running and drug dealing.

Daddy Yankee Opens Up About Marriage Split

Daddy Yankee, the Grammy-nominated trailblazer often dubbed the King of Reggaeton, confirmed his separation from his wife, Mireddys González, after 30 years of marriage.

The Puerto Rican music icon made the announcement via Instagram Stories, explaining the decision came after ongoing efforts to salvage their relationship.

“With a heart full of respect and honesty, I want to share some important news about my personal life,” the 47-year-old wrote. “After more than two decades of marriage and after many months of trying to save my marriage, which my wife and I share, today my lawyers respond to the divorce petition received by Mireddys.”

Yankee described the split as a difficult but necessary step in his journey.

“This is not an easy time, but I understand that this is part of my life process,” he said. “It is time to accept and continue—protect my stability, my children, and everything built over so many years. I deeply thank those who have accompanied us during this journey and I ask that you respect our privacy in this process. I know that this news may surprise many.”

Their relationship began when Yankee and González were teenagers.

By the time he was just 17, the couple welcomed their first child, Jesaaelys, in 1994. They later expanded their family with two more children, a son and another daughter.

The pair maintained a largely private life throughout the years, even as Yankee’s career surged to international stardom with hits like “Gasolina” and “Despacito.”

Yankee’s 2017 collaboration with Luis Fonsi, “Despacito,” became a global phenomenon and achieved historic milestones, including becoming the most-watched video on YouTube at the time.

SIGNS: Guinea Soccer Match Ends In Deadly Stampede That Claims 56 Lives

Chaos erupted at a soccer match in Nzerekore, Guinea, leaving at least 56 dead in what is being called one of the worst sports tragedies in recent history.

The incident appeared to be kickstarted after fans protested a referee’s call during the national tournament honoring Guinea’s controversial military leader, Mamadi Doumbouya. Panic spread like wildfire, leading to a stampede that claimed dozens of lives, many of them children.

Video footage from the Third of April Stadium revealed desperate fans scaling fences to escape as others were crushed at the gates.

“The gates, that’s where the stampede happened,” Cissé Lancine, a survivor who managed to escape by climbing over a wall, said. “I was saved because I did not rush towards the exit.”

With an estimated crowd of 20,000 to 30,000 gathered to watch teams from Labe and Nzerekore battle it out on the pitch, the event spiraled into madness. Enock Loua, mourning the loss of his niece, described the heartbreak.

“We have a hard time realizing what happened to us, it is as if the sky has fallen on our heads,” Loua said.

Reports suggest that enraged fans threw stones, prompting security forces to unleash tear gas. Media Guinea, a local outlet, reported, “Supporters threw stones. This is why the security services used tear gas.” Checkpoints have since been erected throughout Nzerekore as soldiers patrol the hospital where victims are being treated, while most shops in the city remain shuttered.

The tragedy casts a shadow over Doumbouya, the military ruler who seized power in 2021 and whose political ambitions have stirred controversy. Critics argue the tournament was staged to boost his popularity ahead of a potential presidential run, despite a transition charter banning his candidacy. The opposition coalition blasted the event as an effort to promote “illegal and inappropriate” ambitions.

Guinea joins the grim list of nations where sports-related stampedes have turned deadly. The 2022 stampede at Indonesia’s Kanjuruhan Stadium killed 135, while Ghana’s Accra Sports Stadium disaster in 2001 claimed 126 lives. These tragedies underline the dangers of overcrowding and poor crowd control, especially in high-stakes matches.

As Guinea enters three days of national mourning, announced by Doumbouya himself, the nation grapples with grief and unanswered questions. Who will be held accountable for this catastrophe? Only time will tell, but for now, the world mourns yet another senseless loss of life in a place meant for joy and unity.

The multi-hyphenate star paired her iconic look with diamond necklaces and gloves by Paula Rowan, effortlessly stealing the spotlight in London.

N.W.A Member DJ Yella Expels “Demon” On Video During Church Service

DJ Yella, one of the original members of pioneering gangsta rap group N.W.A, recently shared what appeared to be a life-changing moment on Instagram.

On Monday (December 2), the Compton native posted a video with the caption: “A demon comes out of DJ Yella when the pastor says the word ‘manifest.'”

In the clip, DJ Yella is standing next to the pastor, who is commending the Hip-Hop legend for coming to Christ. All of sudden, the pastor says “uh oh” as Yella appears to enter some kind of trance. With a hand on his shoulder, the pastor begins to pray over DJ Yella. Moments later, Yella stiffens his entire body and starts to grunt while the pastor commands him to “release him.” The spectacle lasts for several seconds until he’s screaming at full volume. He eventually comes out of it and returns to a normal state.

DJ Yella wrote in the caption: “You’re Now About To Witness Something Real: And The Power Of GOD!!!” a play on N.W.A’s famous line from 1988’s “Straight Outta Compton.”

A post shared by Antoine Carraby (@djyellaofnwa)

Reactions to DJ Yella’s video were mixed. Comments ranged from “Lol are we serious right now?” and “Man stop the shenanigan” to “That’s beautiful Yella!! I know you must have felt a change after that!” and “May God continue to bless you and work on you for he has plans for you! It takes a lot to show and share God’s work, so sad many are mocking and laughing about the situation.”

One person had a much more complex theory, writing, “Ok I believe this could be a deliverance.. N.W.A was one of the 1st rap groups to sell their souls to the devil; they literally shifted rap music to talk about drugs and the disrespect of women and on a deeper level this perpetuated and glorified the issues within our community, issues purposely placed here via the Caucasian colonizers.

“On a deeper level, the C.I.A. shifted drug culture/addiction shifted from rock and roll to rap hip hop with the initiation of N.W.A, a large part because of Nicaragua, the Contras and Russian influence within Nicaragua military influence. It’s too deep for a IG post but Do YOUR RESEARCH. These things are all connected, trust and believe the God within.”

Whatever the case, DJ Yella has clearly turned his life around and is drastically different from the person he was in N.W.A. Women, in particular, was his drug of choice.

In 2021, he published a memoir called Straight Outta Compton: My Untold Story. The 326-page book took an intimate look at the origins of N.W.A, the death of Ruthless Records founder Eazy-E and DJ Yella’s transformation from notorious womanizer and adult film director to faithful, god-fearing husband.

According to the book, DJ Yella directed and produced over 300 pornographic films, including H.W.A: Ho’s With Attitude, I Candy, West Side Stories and Str8 Outta Compton 1 and 2, but he claimed it wasn’t because he was some sexual deviant.

“Women was my thing,” he told AllHipHop at the time. “It wasn’t drugs, it wasn’t alcohol—it was women. I loved women. But this was all business. It wasn’t like I got excited. No, it was just business. It was nothing but that—just like music.” But the self-described “sinner’s” life began to change in 2010.

“I’d never look to God,” he said. “I never thought about God. I didn’t know nothing about it, and he still came and got me when I was homeless in my darkest times at the bottom of my life ever and pulled me out.”

In May 2012, DJ Yella said “God came and got me. He still wanted me, even though I was at the bottom. The world and the devil didn’t even want me no more. When the devil’s done with you, you’re done.” That was the beginning of a new life for Yella, one he evidently takes seriously.

“Ever since I got saved, I never looked back,” he said. “I’m in church twice a week, everything. I’m a deacon now in the church, everything. I didn’t make the book for money. I made it to show how good God was. He even got me, this horrible, terrible sinner — he even got me. If he can get me, he can get anybody. I mean, I didn’t make it for the money. I never was a money person. Never was.”

Keyshia Cole Divides Fans After Reuniting With Boyfriend Hunxho

Keyshia Cole has seemingly confirmed she’s rekindled her romance with her rapper boyfriend Hunxho despite previously announcing her newfound single status just weeks ago.

The R&B songstress first teased a reunion last week, posting a diamond ring on her Instagram Stories. Then, on Monday (December 3), Keyshia Cole shared a video of herself and Hunxho singing a duet in her car.

The couple crooned along to Cole’s 2009 hit “You Complete Me,” with Hunxho remixing the lyrics to affirm his intentions. “I’ma be the best man that I can,” he sang to a beaming Keyshia Cole.

“and they say he don’t smile,” she captioned the post.

Fans were quick to react in the comment section, with some remarking that they can’t keep up with the on-again-off-again couple and others joking that Hunxho was a little kid when Keyshia Cole released the song.

“Y’all stress me out !!!!” wrote one anxious fan while another asked, “KEYSHIA WHAT WE DOING NOW?!?!”

Others pointed to their considerable age gap, with one stating, “He 25 she 43 …. Kisha enjoy this roller coaster ride.”

Meanwhile, many others still pointed to Hunxho’s looks. “He fine I understand keyshia,” added a sympathetic user.

Keyshia Cole first confirmed their romance earlier this year amid rumors Hunxho was dating his “Come Here” collaborator Gloss Up. The Memphis, Tennessee rapper shared some steamy photos of them, sparking an angry response from Cole.

She blasted the “fake narrative” on her Instagram Stories, revealing the images were taken before she even met Hunxho.

“Him being Yo ‘sneaky link’ When u have a ‘Man you bout to marry Is nasty work,” the singer wrote. “But I wish u all the best on your project Love. I was actually rooting for the video to come out.”

Young Thug’s Father Calls Georgia D.A. Office “A Piece Of S###” As RICO Trial Finally Ends

Young Thug’s father, Jeffery Williams Sr., didn’t mince words when discussing the Georgia District Attorney’s Office.

As the YSL RICO trial finally came to an end on Tuesday (December 3), more than two years after the rapper was originally arrested, Williams was stopped by local reporters, who asked how he felt about the outcome.

“We’re still fighting out here,” Williams Sr. said. “It’s not over for us. I got another son and a grandson that was arrested about this case that I’m still fighting for.” When asked if he still felt negatively toward the Georgia district attorney office, he replied, “I still feel the same way. It’s a p############. We gotta get those people out of there. We want to continue to have justice, we gotta get them out of there.”

Williams called out the District Attorney’s Office in October, shortly after Young Thug was released from jail.

“But the work that we need to do, foremost, for the city of Atlanta, Fulton County, we need to get rid of the poison that’s in our system — and that’s the District Attorney’s Office,” he said. “So, vote [for] Courtney Kramer. I support Courtney Kramer to the fullest. I feel like she’s the best person for the job and it’s not because of what she said about us, it’s because she said that and she was in my company and never knew who I was.”

The two remaining co-defendants involved in Young Thug’s RICO trial were acquitted of murder charges early Tuesday, putting an end to the longest-running criminal trial in Georgia state history.

Yak Gotti was found not guilty of all six charges he was facing, while the second remaining co-defendant, Shannon Stillwell, was convicted of one count of possessing a firearm as a convicted felon but found not guilty of his six remaining charges. Both men were originally charged with the fatal 2015 drive-by shooting of Donovan Thomas Jr. Stillwell was also charged with the March 2022 shooting death of Shymel Drinks.

Wu-Tang Legacy & BET Stardom: Shamar Rasha Hill’s Special Entertainment Journey

Shamar Rasha Hill, a multi-talented entertainer at just 13 years old, is already making waves in the entertainment industry. As the son of legendary Wu-Tang Clan member Cappadonna and prominent community organizer and media personality YoNasDa Lonewolf, Shamar is carving out his own unique path as a singer, rapper, dancer, and actor.

Shamar’s acting career includes notable roles in films like Sounds of Summer (2024) and 13: The Film (2018). He even took on the role of an Apocalyptic Indigenous Child in a short film by Kanye West and Malik Yusef (2019). However, his breakout performance comes as Manny in BET’s Brewster’s Millions Christmas (2024), where he stars alongside China McClain and Romeo Miller. The soon-to-be classic holiday movie hits December 5.

Shamar’s talents extend beyond the screen. His stage work demonstrates his dedication to craft. he landed the role of Travis Younger in A Raisin in the Sun (2024) with Dominion Entertainment Group. He’s even a rapper, actor and singer. Full disclosure, he battled the author of this piece, Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur and drops some bars later in the video. For every Shamar Rasha Hill, read or watch below.

AllHipHop: Chuck Creekmur, aka Jigsaw, here with AllHipHop, and I’m joined by a young superstar in the making! What’s up, Shamar Hill?

Shamar Hill: What’s up, what’s up, y’all? I’m Shamar Hill, and I’m playing Manny on BET…

AllHipHop: Hold up, hold up—you’re speeding already! (Joking) Let me ask the questions first. How are you doing?

Shamar Hill: I’m good. We’re good—moms is here too.

AllHipHop: That’s great! Before we get into Brewster’s Millions: Christmas, tell us a little bit about yourself.

Shamar Hill: Well, I’ve been acting since I was three. I’m also a singer, I can dance, and I rap. I even have a song coming out soon.

AllHipHop: Out of all those talents, which do you prefer?

Shamar Hill: Honestly, all of them, but I really enjoy acting.

AllHipHop: Why acting?

Shamar Hill: I like playing different characters and seeing myself on screen. It’s also about the relationships you build while acting.

AllHipHop: Nice! So let’s talk about Brewster’s Millions: Christmas. The movie drops on December 5th on BET+. How did you land the role?

Shamar Hill: We were at the airport when my mom found the audition. She said, “Shamar, you’ve been wanting a Christmas movie—this is it.” We went straight to Atlanta, I auditioned, sang my song, and I feel like I killed it.

AllHipHop: Tell us about your character, Manny.

Shamar Hill: Manny is just like me—he loves to sing, works hard at his talent, and never gives up. He’s trying to get attention from this guy and he’s just shutting him down. But he just keeps trying. And he works at hard at his talent and sings. And that’s he’s just me. I love this.

AllHipHop: This movie has some heavy hitters in the cast, like Romeo Miller, Tequan Richmond, Telma Hopkins, China McClain, and even Rain Pryor and Richard Pryor Jr. How was it working with such legends?

Shamar Hill: It was amazing. They’re all so professional and hard-working—it was great to be around that. And they memorized their lines in like a snap so it was very good to like be in an environment like that where I could learn and have fun.

AllHipHop: Did you know about Richard Pryor or the original Brewster’s Millions before this?

Shamar Hill: My mom made sure I watched the original movie. That’s when I learned about Richard Pryor, and I loved it.

AllHipHop: Did you get to interact with Romeo or the other cast members much?

Shamar Hill: Yeah, I did. Everyone had great energy and personalities.

AllHipHop: Did you have a favorite moment on set?

Shamar Hill: Probably behind the scenes—like having dance contests with my “dad” and Romeo. That was really fun.

AllHipHop: I have a personal question to ask you. Are you willing to admit that I defeated you in a rap battle?

Shamar Hill: I was waiting for you to ask that! I mean, you can call me a sore loser, but I think I won that rap battle. That’s just me, though.

AllHipHop: It’s all good, it’s all good. I appreciate that answer. You didn’t say yes or no—that was a good answer. You must have learned that type of response from your mom.

Shamar Hill: I’m just trying to be humble, but I’ll say I think I did pretty good.

AllHipHop: Okay, fair enough. I’ve been practicing, though. I think we need a showdown later down the line. Maybe when I come back down South, we can run it back. I’ve improved since then. I was rusty last time—you had a couple punchlines that threw me off.

Shamar Hill: I mean, I could do something right now, you know.

AllHipHop: Oh, go ahead.

Shamar Hill:
The devil is an opp, get into that bag, I’m reaching for the sky, yeah, I’m never gonna drop,
Always on my hustle, yeah, I’m never gonna stop,
Like, yeah, you not like me though,
Lately rapping like I’m wrapping up a free throw,
Haters wanna diss, but I’m really trying to be, bro,
They like, “How you doing that?” I got the cheat code,
Demons coming close, shooting right through the peephole,
But guess what—we not the same people.

AllHipHop: Yo! I’m definitely not ready for you right now. I’ll be back, though—I promise.

Shamar Hill: For sure.

AllHipHop: Now, I don’t know if this is public, but your father is legendary—Cappadonna of Wu-Tang Clan. Is that well-known?

Shamar Hill: It is, yeah.

AllHipHop: So, you’ve got two parents that rap. It’s in your blood, right?

Shamar Hill: Yeah, my dad’s on tour right now. And my mom can still rap. She’s nice—definitely still got it.

AllHipHop: That’s what’s up. Where do you think your talent comes from? Were you exposed to it early, or is it just natural?

Shamar Hill: At first, I wanted to be a dancer—I was dancing all the time. But when I was about seven, I started writing songs and realized they were pretty good. So, I started singing and training, and everything just developed from there.

AllHipHop: I like that you said “training.” That’s an amazing word. A lot of people don’t think about what it takes to be great—they just start doing it without preparation. Training means you’re working toward mastery.

Shamar Hill: Thank you!

AllHipHop: You’re already very good. I’ve seen you sing and incorporate dancing into your performances.

Shamar Hill: Thank you, I appreciate that.

AllHipHop: Who’s your favorite singer?

Shamar Hill: Michael Jackson, the GOAT. But for current artists, I’d say PJ Morton.

AllHipHop: Do you have a favorite Michael Jackson song?

Shamar Hill: Probably “Break of Dawn.”

AllHipHop: That’s a smooth record. A lot of rappers and singers have sampled that one.

Shamar Hill: Yeah, it’s a good song.

AllHipHop: So, you’ve got this movie coming out. Do you have anything else on deck?

Shamar Hill: I’ve been in the studio working on songs, so hopefully, an album or my first EP will be coming soon.

AllHipHop: Will it be a mix of rap and singing?

Shamar Hill: Probably a little bit of both. Some songs might be rap, others singing.

AllHipHop: Aside from your parents, who’s your favorite rapper?

Shamar Hill: Kendrick Lamar. Oh, and Denzel Curry—I like the texture of his songs.

AllHipHop: Solid choices. I’ve seen Denzel Curry live, and he’s incredible.

Shamar Hill: Definitely—he’s an amazing artist.

AllHipHop: You’ve got great taste in music. I feel like we could ride together in the car with no skips.

Shamar Hill: For sure! The aux…

AllHipHop: Yeah, I can trust you with the aux! Well, I won’t hold you too long—I know you’re a busy man. I was about to be offended when your mom said you were booked and busy!

Shamar Hill: [Laughs] Yeah, it’s been a lot, but we made it work.

AllHipHop: Before we wrap, I just want to say I’m proud of you. Your energy, commitment to your craft, and your God-given gifts are inspiring. You’re in a generation where you can share all your talents—you don’t have to choose just one. That’s amazing to see.

Shamar Hill: Thank you so much!

AllHipHop: So, Brewster’s Millions Christmas drops December 5th on BET+. And you’ve got music on the way, too.

Shamar Hill: That’s right—stay tuned!

AllHipHop: One last thing—can you give a shoutout to AllHipHop?

Shamar Hill: Shoutout to AllHipHop—the GOAT!

AllHipHop: Appreciate you, man. Stay safe and keep shining.

Shamar Hill: Thank you! See you soon.

EXCLUSIVE: R. Kelly Still Making Big Money, Pays Off Massive Judgment

R. Kelly may be behind bars, but the once-celebrated R&B musician is still generating substantial income, enough to fully pay off a $520,549.90 federal judgment stemming from his criminal convictions.

Court filings dated Friday in the Eastern District of New York confirm the sum, which covers restitution, fines, and other financial penalties, has been paid in full.

The judgment, finalized on December 7, 2022, required Kelly to pay $379,649.90 in restitution, a $100,000 fine, a $40,000 Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act assessment, and a $900 special assessment.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Daniel G. Saavedra said the payment has now been completed.

In response, U.S. Attorney Breon S. Peace has filed a request to formally cancel and discharge the judgment, according to records from the court.

The resolution of this judgment comes as part of the fallout from Kelly’s 2021 conviction on racketeering and sex trafficking charges, for which he is currently serving a 30-year prison sentence.

While Kelly is serving a combined 31-year sentence for crimes across New York and Chicago federal courts—including child pornography and racketeering convictions—his financial reach remains extensive.

During his trial, prosecutors alleged that Kelly sold a portion of his music catalog for $5 million.

His back catalog generates significant royalty income, even as legal disputes persist over its allocation.

The singer’s financial entanglements go beyond his criminal cases.

Separate court rulings awarded damages to victims, including a $10.5 million judgment to women who reported receiving threats over the release of the damning documentary series Surviving R. Kelly and another successful claim by Heather Williams, who gained access to his music royalties in Illinois.
