Former Bad Boy Artist E.Ness Calls Diddy Allegations “A Smear Campaign”

Sean “Diddy” Combs has faced multiple sexual misconduct lawsuits which include allegations of rape. The Bad Boy Entertainment founder has denied the accusations. A former artist on the embattled executive’s label backed him up with an unsubstantiated conspiracy theory.

E.Ness appeared on the Diddy-led Making the Band 2 reality show in 2002. That MTV series led to the formation of the Bad Boy rap group known as Da Band.

The Directed BY CEO Nafees YouTube channel recently published an interview with E.Ness. Much of the conversation with the Philadelphia-bred MC focused on Diddy’s ongoing legal troubles.

“It’s a smear campaign,” E.Ness alleged. “That’s what’s happening with Puff. It’s a smear campaign. And what they usually do is they go to your personal habits.”

He continued, “They start attacking your personal habits, your girlfriends, your exes. Then they try to find something to attack you through those vessels.”

Casandra “Cassie” Ventura filed the most high-profile rape and abuse lawsuit against her ex-boyfriend, Diddy. The two sides quickly settled out of court for an undisclosed amount.

E.Ness went on to say the so-called “classic rollout” against Diddy is similar to what happened to other famous accused sexual abusers like Bill Cosby, Mike Tyson, Michael Jackson and R. Kelly.

50 Cent Plans TV Show About Alleged Liquor Company Embezzlement Scheme: “It’s Going To Get Worse”

50 Cent is warning the liquor company he accused of embezzlement that the situation is about to get worse for the brand.

In a recent lawsuit filed with the New York State Supreme Court, the G-unit founder accused Beam Suntory of being complicit in a multi-million dollar kickback scheme that almost cost him his Sire Spirits company.

“Now they’re at a point where they’re going to see, everybody’s going to see. This noise affects them, they get really uncomfortable,” Fiddy told FOX 5 NY. “People are going to start looking at it, and it’s going to be a mess for them.”

Former club king Michael “Lord Michael” Caruso will be the first defendant deposed in the case, the outlet reports f.

Sire Spirits attorney Craig W##### claims Beam Suntory and Caurso conspired “to get Sire Spirits to buy it’s champagne and it’s cognac from parties that were given illicit and hidden commissions to them.”

In a statement to AllHipHop, Beam Suntory said: “The claims brought by Mr. Jackson and Sire Spirits against Beam Suntory are false and baseless. They are completely lacking in merit – and, even more importantly, in evidence. Most of the allegations have already been dismissed. We will continue to vigorously defend ourselves and expect to prevail.”

Nonetheless, 50 Cent plans to create a TV show about the alleged scheme and his dealings with Beam Suntory.

“It’s only going to get worse than it is now, when people start paying attention to it,” he said. “I’m going to end up making a whole TV show based on it.”

Sharing the report on Instagram, 50 Cent repeated his claim that Beam Suntory ” are going to pay for this.” The Hip-Hop mogul then added, “These people should have just did the right thing to fix this.”

Loaded Lux Death Rumors False – T-Rex Debunks Fake Report

Loaded Lux is alive and has not passed away, sources close to the battle rap legend confirmed, despite the rumors.

A false report surfaced online late on Monday evening (March 18), claiming the Harlem rapper had been killed. The rumor circulated rapidly, spread by devastated fans praying for the news to be untrue.

The report was so widely shared that Loaded Lux began trending in the Top. 10 on X (formerly Twitter). However, multiple sources close to Lux quickly shut the rumor down.

Chayna Ashley spoke to fellow Dot Mob member and close friend of Loaded Lux, T-Rex, who confirmed the rapper is alive.

“Lux is good! Just confirmed with Rex,” she wrote Monday evening.

A short while later, Rex took to Instagram, stating, “Bro is good we just spoke.”

Harlem rapper Un Kasa also received confirmation that Lux is alive and that it was a family member who was killed.

“I just got a call, it’s not Loaded Lux,” he stated on GullyTv

Loaded Lux recently made headlines after getting a callout from Chad Ochocinco Jonhson. The pair had a live faceoff on Nightcap, with Lux hitting the former Bengals wide receiver with a fresh freestyle.

Earlier this month, Ultimate Rap League announced Lux will be back on the platform to face 2022 Champion of the Year Rum Nitty.

Music Exec John Kwatakye-Atiko Says Artist Development is a non-negotiable

“We live in an era obsessed with instant fame and streaming stats,” says John Kwatakye-Atiko (JKA), who has worked with both independent and major recording artists. “But I want to change that.” With his focus on artist development through his company, Popular Demand Entertainment, JKA aims to reshape an industry that often favors fleeting trends over long-term growth. Artists like Chantae Vetrice and songwriter Lyrix The Writer are crafting a new generation of music that defies cookie-cutter trends.

For decades now, major record labels have relentlessly pursued the next viral sensation, often neglecting to nurture the raw talent right under their noses. “This chase for the quick hit,” JKA observes, “leads to one-hit wonders and fizzled-out careers. It’s not a sustainable model.”

JKA understands that true success lies in longevity. “Banking on a single viral moment isn’t enough, as shown by the poor merch and ticket sales that often follow those flashes of fame,” he notes.

Streaming, while empowering for artists in many ways, has further complicated matters. “It’s potential, not guaranteed success,” JKA stresses, “Labels haven’t fully grasped that, leading to bad investments and the layoffs we’ve seen recently from giants like Sony, Warner, and Universal are a result of these bad investments.”

DOPE Music Distribution, created by Kwatakye-Atiko and Mathew “Vine” Burke. “It’s more than just dropping songs online,” JKA explains, “DOPE is about giving artists the knowledge to survive in this industry.”

The platform’s core is artist development. Educational resources, mentorship, and guidance empower artists to control their careers. “We’re not chasing trends,” JKA emphasizes, “DOPE invests in talent over time, that’s how you create lasting impact.”

JKA’s vision signals a major shift. By championing artist development over short-sighted strategies, he’s creating a fairer, more sustainable music ecosystem. He’s not just helping individual artists – he’s attempting to reshape what success means in the industry as a whole.

Billy Dee Williams Kinda Shades Donald Glover: “There Is Only One Lando Calrissian”

Billy Dee Williams, the original actor behind the iconic “Star Wars” character Lando Calrissian, has made his feelings clear about the role and its legacy, stressing that in his eyes, “there is only one Lando Calrissian.”

The statement comes amid the development of a new “Lando” movie by Donald Glover, who portrayed a younger version of the character in the 2018 film “Solo: A Star Wars Story.”

Williams first took on the role of Lando in the 1980 film “The Empire Strikes Back,” earning acclaim for his charismatic and complex portrayal of the Cloud City administrator-turned-rebel hero.

He reprised his role in 1983’s “Return of the Jedi” and made a nostalgic return in 2019’s “The Rise of Skywalker.”

Despite the character being played by Donald Glover in the recent prequel, Williams told Radio Times magazine that he views his own portrayal as definitive, citing the creation and development of Lando’s on-screen persona as his handiwork.

During a meeting with Donald Glover about the character, Williams expressed support for the younger actor’s talent but reiterated his view that his Lando is unparalleled.

“I had a nice little lunch with him. He’s a delightful young man. Extremely talented. But I don’t see him… I mean, when it comes to Lando Calrissian there’s only one Lando Calrissian. I created that character,” Williams stated.

Despite the firm stance on his unique connection to Lando, Williams offered Glover advice to “be charming” in the role, recognizing the need for the character to evolve with the times and the actor’s interpretation.

He acknowledged Glover’s responsibility to bring Lando into the 21st century, having covered the 20th century himself.

Williams also humorously hinted at the possibility of returning to the role himself, given the right incentive: “Pay me a lot of money and I’ll sell my soul.”

The news of Glover’s Lando evolving from a limited Disney+ series to a full-fledged movie project surfaced in July of the previous year, marking another chapter in the storied legacy of the “Star Wars” universe.

Alicia Keys and Roc Nation have just saved the day for a young pre-teen seeking to secure financial stability for their school.

On Monday (March 28), TMZ reported Keys and Roc Nation contributed to the fundraising efforts spearheaded by a 12-year-old to keep the main program at the Professional Performing Arts School in New York City. Around $50,00 in donations had been secured Prior to the GoFundMe catching the attention of Keys, an alumni of the school.

MGM Addresses Bruno Mars’ Alleged $50M Gambling Debt

MGM Resorts denied claims of Bruno Mars racking up a $50 million gambling debt with the company. The rumor originated from a NewsNation report, which cited a Las Vegas “insider” as its source.

“We’re proud of our relationship with Bruno Mars, one of the world’s most thrilling and dynamic performers,” MGM said. “From his shows at Dolby Live at Park MGM to the new Pinky Ring lounge at Bellagio, Bruno’s brand of entertainment attracts visitors from around the globe. MGM and Bruno’s partnership is longstanding and rooted in mutual respect. Any speculation otherwise is completely false; he has no debt with MGM. Together, we are excited to continue creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.”

Mars partnered with MGM in 2016. The long-term deal included his Park MGM residency. The hitmaking singer opened The Pinky Ring, a Vegas cocktail bar and entertainment lounge, inside MGM’s Bellagio Resort and Casino in February.

NewsNation’s report suggested Mars had financial troubles despite allegedly making $1.5 million per night for his residency. The outlet’s Vegas insider said MGM “basically owns” Mars due to his supposed gambling debt.

“He makes $90 million a year off of the deal he did with the casino, but then he has to pay back his debt… after taxes,” the report read.

Mars will head to Thailand later this month for two shows in Bangkok. He will perform three times in Singapore in April.

The pop star returns to Vegas for his residency in a few months, performing multiple nights at Dolby Live at Park MGM. The bookings include June 7, 8, 12, 14 and 15; August 20, 23, 24, 27, 28 and 31; and September 1. NewsNation reported supposed bookings with his Silk Sonic collaborator Anderson .Paak in May, but MGM does not have any Silk Sonic shows listed on its schedule.

Drake’s Curse Could Spill Over Into NCAA Amid March Madness Uptick

Drake could be on the verge of extending his fabled curse and internally affecting the outcome of the NCAA’s March Madness.

In case you missed it, Drake spent time with Houston University’s Men’s basketball team on Selection Sunday to help them celebrate their No. 1 overall seed in the South Region of the upcoming NCAA Tournament. Commemorating the event, the team captain, Jamal Shead, even presented Drake with his own custom jersey.

Tilman J. Feritta, the chairman at the university and owner of the Houston Rockets, invited Drake to the school to celebrate with the players. And based on Feritta’s comments on Drake’s visit coupled with Houston’s loss to Iowa State University (ISU) the day prior during the Big 12 Championship, he’s either completely oblivious to the curse or unbothered by it.

“We always want to welcome a guy who calls Houston his second home,” Feritta said. “He really wants to be a part of the community. Huge sports fan, he can play a little b-ball too.”

Houston will take on the Longwood University Lancers in their first-round matchup, where they will look to rally a win following the 69-40 loss to ISU. As if overcoming a loss of that magnitude isn’t enough, now it appears Houston will also have to overcome Drake’s now negative sports betting differential as well. Following Anthony Joshua’s literal knockout performance against Drake’s favored heavyweight Francis Ngannou, odds aren’t looking too good for The Boy’s college team.

Finesse2Tymes Says His Child Rap Protégé’s Mom Called CPS Over Money

Finesse2Tymes criticized the mother of kid rapper FNG King a.k.a. Lil King for allegedly causing trouble for her son on Sunday (March 17). Finesse2Tymes accused Tiffany Moore of calling child protective services because his child rap protégé refused to give her money.

“See what I’m saying?” he wrote on Facebook. “Now king mama done called cps, tawkn about she don’t know we’re he at and haven’t seen him since she got out of jail ‘ALL BECAUSE KING WONT GIVE HER MONEY TO SUPPORT HER HABITS’ WHY? This young man lives in a million dollar home, with his own everything, don’t have to worry about dodging bullets, or being hungry running around memphis with grown men shooting dice that’ll actually HURT HIM for a few dollars.

He continued, “Why would u even RISK that for your kid? I bring him to see his grandma EVERYTIME I’m in memphis, I give her $1,000 king gives her $1,000 we laugh, kick it, and leave. See what I mean? Is it ever gone stop? Everybody want money and fame until they get it.”

Moore wasn’t the first person to call CPS on Finesse2Tymes over his care of King. Internet provocateur Charleston White reported Finesse2Tymes for child endangerment and neglect in 2023.

Finesse2Tymes previously dealt with scrutiny for his role in King’s life, but there were also concerns about the child’s mother. Last year, Moore was arrested for stabbing King’s grandmother with a pair of scissors.

“At the end of the day, I hope she get well,” Finesse2Tymes wrote in reaction to Moore’s arrest. “That’s still my lil man’s mama, Grandma get well.”

He told King’s mom, “Get ya shyt together we here for u, just gotta wanna be there for yaself.”

Finesse2Tymes is not King’s father. According to Moore, King’s grandmother has custody of the child.

SIGNS: Donald Trump Warns Of “Bloodbath” In U.S. If Not Re-Elected

Donald Trump once again finds himself under the microscope for his fiery rhetoric, this time igniting controversy at a campaign rally in Dayton, Ohio.

In a jaw-dropping declaration, Trump warned of a potential “bloodbath for the country” should he fail to secure re-election. Considering the events of the insurrection following the 2020 election on January 6, his statement is sending shockwaves through the political arena.

But Trump’s rally rampage didn’t stop there. The Republican firebrand also unleashed a barrage of dehumanizing anti-immigrant rhetoric, evoking eerie echoes of Hitler-like phrasing about immigrants “poisoning the blood” of America. His words, dripping with vitriol, sparked condemnation from all corners.

And in a no-holds-barred interview with Fox News journalist Howard Kurtz, Trump doubled down on his controversial statements, slamming late-night host Jimmy Kimmel, comparing migrants to “vermin” and even suggesting a 16-week national abortion ban to court the Christian right.

But Trump remains defiant in the face of backlash, taking to Truth Social to fire back at the media, accusing them of feigned shock over his choice of words. Alyssa Farah Griffin, conservative co-host of the network television show The View, directly challenged Trump following his comments at the rally and recent posts on the Truth social app.

“Again, we were literally hoarding toilet paper on this date 4 years ago,” Griffin wrote in tweet.

Spokespeople for Joe Biden wasted no time in accusing him of “endorsing political violence,” particularly in light of his lamentation over the fate of the “J6 hostages.”

As the political arena braces for the fallout from Trump’s rally rhetoric, one thing’s for certain–the former president shows no signs of toning down his trademark bombast anytime soon.

Latto Splurges On Spring Break With 5-Figure Tab At Miami Steakhouse

Latto spent thousands of dollars at one restaurant during her Spring Break adventures in Miami. The RCA Records rapper revealed she paid more than $10,000 for food and drinks at Miami’s Papi Steak.

“I done spent over 10k in 3 days at this restaurant,” she wrote on Instagram Stories. “It’s so worth it tho.”

A rep for Papi Steak confirmed Latto’s spending to the Miami Herald, which kept track of her Spring Break activities. She performed at the LIV nightclub at Fontainebleau – located a few miles away from the steakhouse – after eating a meal at the restaurant on Sunday night.

Latto partied at Spring Break in Miami a few weeks before her trip to Cleveland for the NCAA Women’s Final Four. She will headline the NCAA’s Super Saturday Concert, which is scheduled for April 6. The free concert will be held at the Cleveland Public Auditorium.

“I am excited to bring the energy to Cleveland and perform at the NCAA Super Saturday Concert Presented by AT&T,” Latto said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to supporting the growth of women’s basketball and continue to empower the entire female community.”

Fans attending the upcoming concert will hear Latto perform her latest single “Sunday Service,” which dropped in February. The song was speculated to be a diss track, but Latto denied it. A line from the song was thought to be a shot at Ice Spice, whose song “Think U The S### (Fart)’ was allegedly aimed at Latto.

“These b###### corny, soon as monkey see, then you know monkey do/Do you rap or do you tweet?/’Cause I can’t tell, get in the booth, b####/Stop all that m############ yelling, ho/’Cause I ain’t buying what you’re selling, ho/Think I’m the s###? Sexyy Red Says Drones Tailed Her After Stop At Mexico Border

Sexyy Red claimed she was placed under surveillance following a stop at the Mexico border. The polarizing rapper detailed her experience at the border in a series of Instagram Stories posts.

Sexyy Red’s boasting eventually stopped as she admitted she was tired of the hassle. She questioned why she was being monitored with drones allegedly tracking her vehicle.

“Mexico do not play that s### y’all,” she said. “We at the hotel trying to get our stuff and get out this m########### ‘cause they got too much going on. Stopped us on the way back, like they done told m############, ‘Yeah, this them, this them. Stop that car.’ But now we at the hotel, they got drones and s### watching us. Sexyy Red took a trip to Mexico after dropping her new single “Get It Sexyy” on Friday (March 15). The Tay Keith-produced track was her first release since the birth of her second child, who arrived in February.

Meek Mill lamented gun violence in his hometown of Philadelphia, calling for change on Instagram Stories.

Police have not identified a suspect or determined a motive in Phat Geez’s shooting death. Cops offered a $20,000 reward for information leading to the killer’s arrest.

The Philadelphia Police Department asked anyone with information about the shooting to contact the Homicide Unit at 215-686-3334. Tipsters can also call or text the department’s tip line at 215-686-TIPS (8477).

Ice Cube Invites Shaquille O’Neal To Join Big3 Basketball League

Will Shaquille O’Neal be the latest NBA legend to show up in Ice Cube and Jeff Kwatinetz’s seven-year-old Big3 basketball league? Cube has extended a public invitation to Shaq.

Former Miami Heat player Mario Chalmers sat down with Shaquille O’Neal for an episode of The Big Podcast with Shaq. At one point, Chalmers suggested Shaq should join him and Michael Beasley on the Big3’s 3’s Company team.

“So you really think I could play in the Big3?” Shaquille O’Neal asked Mario Chalmers. The four-time NBA champion also said, “I thought about it. I just had hip surgery and I ain’t played since. I don’t think I could get back in that mode.”

Ice Cube then reacted to that clip from The Big Podcast with Shaq. The Hip Hop legend also offered Shaquille O’Neal the opportunity to return to the court for the 3-on-3 competition.

“We got the contract ready for you big fella. You got 3 months to get Diesal. You can eat all day in @thebig3 @SHAQ,” Ice Cube tweeted on Sunday (March 17).

If Shaquille O’Neal agrees to Ice Cube’s offer, he will become one of the most high-profile ex-NBA stars to play for the Big3. Fellow basketball hall-of-famers, such as Gary Payton and Julius Erving, serve as coaches.
