Chrisean Rock Walks Back Blueface Assault Claims: “He Was Trying To Save Me”

Chrisean Rock and Blueface’s volatile relationship has sparked concern amongst their fans again after the reality TV starlet accused the rapper of assaulting her before doing a U-turn and blaming herself for the incident just a day later.

The young couple has been involved in a series of violent altercations over recent months with arrests, street brawls, and social media spats. They vowed to keep their hands to themselves but got into another altercation a month later.

Meanwhile, the Baddies South star took to Instagram Live on Saturday evening (Oct. 29) in the aftermath of another allegedly violent incident. Tears streamed down Chrisean Rock’s visibly bruised face as she alleged Blueface hit her in the face after she texted “a boy.”

“The f###. This is a busted lip. A busted nose… you’re lying. You weird ass b####,” Chrisean said. She then claimed the “b#### ass n####” beat her up because she was texting a boy.

She claimed she tried to flee the vehicle, but Blueface wouldn’t let her. “He gone pull me back just to hit me in my mouth because I wanted to jump out the car,” she added before stating, “you’re too comfortable and keep hitting me in my face.” Watch the clip below.

While concerned fans urged Chrisean to get help and leave Blueface, she returned to social media a day later to walk back her claims. Rock claimed her rapper boyfriend was trying to save her from herself as she was on “a bad trip.”

“Everybody fine,” she began. “No filter, no make-up. I had a bad trip yesterday with Casamigos. I tried to jump out of a f###### car on the highway. Blueface was keeping me from jumping out of the car. I thought that b#### was trying to get the f### up out the car, but he was trying to save me. I just… blacked out.”

She added a note explaining she suffered a mental breakdown but said: “I will be working on my mental health n liquor habits.”

However, fans of the couple took to social media to share their concerns about the couple and their toxic relationship. Some called for Crazy In Love, their upcoming Zeus reality show to be scrapped. Check out some of the reactions below.

Kanye’s George Floyd Prob Turns Into A Stephen Jackson Prob!

Kanye said what he said. And, quite frankly, it didn’t go over well. He basically went at George Floyd’s daughter and her mother. In so many words, he said “I gave yall 2$ bucks and you stabbed me in the back with this lawsuit.” It came off extremely condescending and narcissistic. I cannot believe he is running wild. Check out what he said before we get over the man of the hour, Stephen Jackson.

Now, Kanye uses a lot of triggering words like “lynching,” which are definitely not appropriate for his rich a$$. But the whole tone of the letter is inappropriate. This letter comes right after the former billionaire made a profound apology to the family of George Floyd for saying he died of Fentanyl and not a racist cop. Anyway, as you know, George Floyd was well connected and Mr. Stephan Jackson is one of his best friends.

He stepped up and told Kanye to come see him, not Floyd’s ex or his daughter. HIM! Here’s what he said:

Ye Claims George Floyd’s Family Was “Forced” To Sue Him On Behalf Of “Business” People

Kanye West has alleged Ari Emanuel “tried to destroy” his life by urging brands to drop him after he made antisemitic comments.

Over the course of the past month, the “Stronger” rapper has made a string of divisive and offensive comments about Jewish people on social media and during interviews.

In response, Endeavor entertainment agency boss Emanuel called on West’s business partners to drop him as a client, and on Sunday, the hip-hop star took aim at the 61-year-old in an Instagram rant.

“You tried to bankrupt adidas and me at the same time (sic). You tried to destroy my life after all the money I’ve made for the ‘business’ people,” he wrote. “At least as I burn to the stake in front of the whole world… // everyone now knows who they need to really be afraid of. And now eeeeveryone knows how much power you “Business” people actually have.”

Last week, bosses at Adidas severed ties with West and called off their Yeezy fashion partnership, while Creative Artists Agency (CAA) officials cut him as a client.

In addition, the family of George Floyd announced their intention to sue the controversial personality for $250 million over false statements he made about the former truck driver’s death. Floyd died at the age of 46 during an arrest in May 2020.

“Forcing Roxie (Washington, Floyd’s former partner) to to sue me for 252 million after I gave her family 2 million. Only a truly powerful ‘business’ person could have thought of that and sent her to do this,” the 45-year-old continued. “To everyone in the world! // Take me as an example of what will happen if you show any frustration. Your frustration does not matter! We declare today the day when no human is allowed to be human. Please note that I have never physically hurt anyone.”

Emanuel has not yet responded to West’s comments.

Lizzo Feels Hopeless For Black Women In America

Lizzo was terrified to drive as a teenager because she got pulled over by police officers so many times.

The “About Damn Time” singer, who grew up in Houston, Texas, recalled to Vanity Fair magazine how she was constantly on-edge while driving because she had so many encounters with law enforcement.

“The police were right behind you. They follow you all the way home,” she remembered. “I stopped at every Stop sign, I’m smiling, being pleasant, I tried to do everything right. And they follow you home, then they veer off and they’re laughing. I’ve been pulled over, I’ve been handcuffed…. They do ‘Licence and registration, okay, everything looks good, you’re good to go.’ ‘Ma’am, can you just step out the vehicle real quick?'”

The 34-year-old also addressed the state of U.S. politics and described herself as “a chronically disappointed optimist” because she feels there has been no progress in the way Black women are treated.

“The way Black women have been treated in this country has made me feel very hopeless,” Lizzo shared. “I don’t think there was a time when (we) were treated fairly and with respect. If I see hope in this country, it will come from the accountability of the people who have the privilege. As a fat Black woman, this country has never gone forward; it’s stayed pretty much the same for me.”

Following the overturning of Roe v. Wade, which allows states to make abortion illegal, in June, Lizzo donated $500,000 to Planned Parenthood and the National Network of Abortion Funds.

Ye Warns George Floyd’s Family Against Suing After Apologizing To Black People

Rap star Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, hopped back on to Instagram over the weekend and fired off a series of controversial posts.

First, the rap star posted a picture of Emmett Till and claimed he was being lynched digitally by “business people” as an apparent euphemism for Jewish people.

Ye sent another message to Ari Emanuel, the head of Endeavor Content, who wrote an open letter to the business community to cut ties with Ye, which caused a snowball effect and led to the rapper being dropped by CAA, Adidas, GAP, Balenciaga and other brands.

The fallout led to Ye losing over $2 billion of his net worth in a week.

Ye admitted he was mainly unbothered by the loss of his other businesses, but it seemed the impact on his Donda Academy hit home.

His message to Ari Emanuel – and his brother Rahm Emanuel- former mayor of Chicago – over the weekend, asked for help relocating 60 of the students at the Donda Academy.

“They tried to dismantle our basketball team. Those boys are being penalized without reason. Even professional athletes were threatened by their owners to disassociate,” Ye said.

“This is what modern post social media #Blackmirror warfare looks like…the children are not even off limits

-Economic Lynching

– Digital Lynching

– Bankrupting my Social Credit Score

You tried to bankrupt Adidas and me at the same time. You tried to destroy my life after all the money I’ve made for the ‘business’ people,” Ye wrote.

Also, over the weekend, a video surfaced of Ye apologizing to the Black community, as well as George Floyd’s family, over controversial comments he made during his interview on the “Drink Champs” podcast.

During that sit-down, Ye claimed George Floyd died from a shot of fentanyl instead of being murdered by former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin, who sat with his knee on Floyd’s neck for over 8 minutes.

“That is not God-like, to be showing off,” Ye said of his behavior. “So, if it’s not God-like, then God will take that because it’s all the church’s money right…

“Me being burned to the flesh every single day, it’s actually proving what I had to say….Lex Fridman got you to apologize, Piers Morgan got you to apologize to the Jews. But you never apologized to us about the George Floyd comment that made us feel bad.

“I heard the Black people, so I want to apologize for hurting them. Because right now God has shown me by what Adidas is doing, and by what the media is doing, I know how it feels to have a knee on my neck now,” Ye said.

Less than 24 hours after the video clip surfaced, Ye was on his Instagram account issuing a warning to the family of George Floyd. The rap star seemed offended that they planned to sue him for $250 million for defamation after he donated $2 million to the family in the aftermath of George Floyd’s murder.

“You’re either being controlled or you’re being greedy.. But You better get you some business… 4 GOD get mad…This is how you try someone who was there for your family???? You will never get money from no one else. GOD don’t like ugly,…

“To the Floyd family: I apologized to you and the black community for my comments on Drink Champs. Humbly… Now Come get Roxie before she mess up all y’all money. The Bible is the umbilical chord [sic]…Stay Connected,” Ye wrote.

He offered support for Stephen A. Smith, Kyrie Irving and Herschel Walker in separate posts. In another post, Ye shared a text message between himself and business mogul Russell Simmons, who offered Ye the chance to come to Bali to strategize and rebuild his empire.

“I’m staying in America. I gotta get the Jewish business people to make the contracts fair. Or die trying,” Kanye wrote.

Kanye’s comments were flooded with criticism and support. Take a look at some of the replies below:

Michael B. Jordan Admits Directing And Starring In “Creed III” Was A Challenge

Michael B. Jordan has admitted that directing and starring in Creed III was “tough.”

“Creed III,” which hits cinemas in March 2023, marks Michael’s directorial debut, and as well as helming the movie and co-producing it, Michael also stars as lead character Adonis Creed in the “Rocky” spin-off.

In a chat with Collider, the 35-year-old explained how he has been patiently waiting for the right opportunity to step behind the camera, and felt that Creed III was the perfect vehicle for him to finally do it, even if it was difficult pulling double duty.

“It’s torture, but at the same time, it’s so much fun. It was the challenge of accomplishing it all, with the multitasking nature of developing the story, trying to stay in shape, and giving all the departments what they individually needed, to go do their job,” he shared.

During the shoot, Michael had to learn what his process was as a director.

“It’s really hard to put into words,” he continued. “Every day was a struggle, but honestly, it was the team of people that I had around me that got me through it. You’ve really gotta surround yourself with the right help, so that you can focus on the things you need to focus on. Sometimes that’s doing two things at one time, or three things at one time. It’s just part of the job. Once you step behind the camera, the undertaking that it is, from the outside looking in, it’s tough.”

50 Cent Refuses To Let Go Of Penis Lawsuit; Says His Reputation Irreparably Harmed By Sexually Charged Comments

Rap star 50 Cent has hit back against a Florida plastic surgeon attempting to get the rap star’s lawsuit over his penis dismissed.

50 Cent filed a lawsuit against Angela Kogan and her businesses, Perfection Plastic Surgery and MedSpa, for falsely stating he had previous enhancement surgery.

Fif felt he got the shaft after The Shade Room added an Instagram post promoting Kogan and MedSpa’s services. The rapper/TV executive says Kogan falsely implied that Jackson had received penile enhancement treatment and endorsed her business.

The article also included a picture 50 took with Kogan next to a male patient with his face blurred out and an eggplant emoji over his crotch.

50, who is known to vigorously protect his image, promptly slapped MedSpa with a stiff lawsuit for Unauthorized Publication of Name or Likeness, false endorsement, and false advertising under the Lanham Act; Florida common law invasion of privacy and conversion; and unjust enrichment.

Last week, Kogan filed documents in court asking a judge to dismiss 50’s lawsuit. She claimed the rapper “didn’t just stumble into MedSpa.” She said 50 Cent was serviced by MedSpa and agreed to take the picture in return, but she admitted the rapper never had penile enhancement surgery.

Kogan also denied The Shade Room’s post implied that 50 Cent had plastic surgery on his penis. However, fans did not see it that way. Fif claims he was subjected to a barrage of embarrassing messages.

“Was he there for a booty butt lift?” one fan asked, while another said, “Call him 50 inch.” Another commentator posted, “@50cent Can I see the before and after pics?”

“When sharing [50 Cent’s] image in association with a sexual enhancement procedure, [Kogan] should have known that this could lead to vulgar and sexually charged comments about [50 Cent] and his body, particularly in light of the ways that Black men in U.S. history have been, and continue to be, sexualized and fetishized. These attitudes and stereotypes are extremely apparent when reading the comments on Kogan and MedSpa’s posts,” 50’s lawyer Eamon O’Kelly explained.

50 Cent said he would have never taken the picture with Kogan had he known she would eventually use the image to promote her businesses and imply he had work done on his penis.

50 says Kogan has to prove that he gave her express, written consent to use his image to promote her businesses – something he never did.

The G-Unit boss says Kogan has suffered substantial damages and irreparable harm to his reputation and brand after MedSpa associated him with their plastic surgery business, specifically having had sexual enhancement procedures.

50 Cent wants the judge to deny Kogan’s motion to dismiss his lawsuit.

Lauryn Hill’s Daughter Agrees With Ye’s Point About Her Mom’s Career; Russell Simmons Replies

Rapper Kanye West posted a picture of singer/ rapper Lauryn Hill on Instagram to stress one of his many points about the entertainment industry and how it pillages the lives of those it makes into mega-stars.

He captioned, “Love is the answer God is Love Does anyone wonder what Ms. Hill’s recording contract looked like and why she stopped recording professionally. We no longer will be used to oppression Kweli was right on so many things. Sway was right. When you sell your name and likeness Let’s free ourselves and bring back this frequency #lovespeech.”

https://www.instagram.com/p/CkSqYrcObc7/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

Hill’s daughter, who was one of the models in Kanye’s “White Lives Matter” fashion show in Paris Fashion Week, jumped in the comments and confirmed how bad it was, saying, “IT WAS F#####.”‘

The godfather of Hip-Hop, Russell Simmons, commented, helping to curate the conversation as a creative and an executive, “you have the power and support to do it all … why fight?”

“There is nothing stopping you,” he wrote. “There are super powerful Black lawyers in music now, we didn’t have that. Independent platforms, we didn’t have that. Independent manufacturers and all kinds of distribution for whatever, you can create. Just do it without Nike owning it. You do it. Not Nike.”

Uncle Rush continued, “You said it yourself it’s the ‘slave mentality’ it’s a choice. Go out and make us proud now. But let’s undo … clear up … people using your name to promote hate. Love you.”

Lyricist extraordinaire Talib Kweli reposted Kanye’s post and said, “I didn’t want to be right. I wanted YOU to be right @kanyewest. You said on @drinkchamps that the people who were mad at your MAGA hat were the people that loved you. You were correct about that. The people who love you are going to be the only ones that tell you the truth. Stay away from anti-black grifters like @realcandaceowens she ain’t got the answers Fam. Shout out to @realsway shout out to @mslaurynhill.”

https://www.instagram.com/p/CkTPN_ouEpb/?

The “People’s Party with Talib Kweli” podcaster said he did not hesitate to use this validation to check Consequence, a Kanye protégé and tangential member of A Tribe Called Quest.

“Ok but who’s gonna break the news to Dexter? @constv 😩😂,” he wrote referencing an argument they had of Con just days ago that went left and got very ugly.

Then, like the Brooklyn hustler he is, Talib posted about the new Black Star album, writing, “New @blackstarkeepshining no fear of time album on @hearluminary produced by @madlib because we will never again sell our name and likeness.”

Cam’ron Thrashes Ben Simmons Over Poor Play For Nets And Airball Layup

Last year, the Philadelphia 76ers traded three-time All-Star player Ben Simmons to the Brooklyn Nets in a swap for the legendary James Harden.

While the trade is mostly working out for Philly and Harden, Ben Simmons looks like the dud he was when he left the city of Brotherly Love.

Simmons infamously refused to play for the 76ers last year, failed to report to training camp, and was eventually fined almost $500,000 for missing two preseason games.

After 6 months, in February of 2021, Simmons was finally traded to Brooklyn for Harden.

Joel Embiid, James Harden, and Tyrese Maxey seemed to have good on-court chemistry- but the same cannot be said for Brooklyn’s Ben Simmons, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Durant.

So far, Brooklyn is 1 and 5, and Simmons is averaging just a little over 5 points per game right now. The team is currently ranked 14th in the league.

Rap, star, and accomplished basketball player Cam’ron is one of the many New Yorkers who are already fed up with Ben Simmons. Cam hopped up on his Instagram Live to bash Ben Simmons and his abysmal performance so far.

https://youtu.be/a1lN0XRu8VY

“Ben Simmons stop wasting my n#####’ time. I’m dead f###### serious. Stop playing with my n#####. You’ve got n##### playing two-on-f######-five out there. Stop playing with n##### man,” Cam’ron snarled.

“If you don’t want to f###### play basketball, go to f### with the Kardashians, the Jenners, whoever the f### you with. When we’re watching on TV, it’s like, it’s all good. I went to the f###### game last night and watched you shoot a airball layup. Stop playing with my n#####.”

Fellow Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving was a little more forgiving during a press conference where the subject of Ben Simmons’s performance came up.

“You guys keep coming in here and asking me, ‘What about Ben? What about Ben?’ He hasn’t played in two years. Give him a f###### chance. We’re just here to give him positive affirmations,” Kyrie Irving said.

The Brooklyn Nets are scheduled to take on the Indiana Pacers at home tomorrow night (October 31st).

Kanye West Says “Sorry” To The Blacks – KINDA!

Kanye West seems to be on an apology tour now. Last night in Los Angeles, California, the former billionaire apologized to the Black community for comments that he’s made in the past. As you already know, he recently apologized to the Jewish community for antisemitic comments that he made. By the way, these people do not al think Kanye is lying. Ye also cleared up these apologies. he said he didn’t know some of the stuff was anti-Jewish. All of these apologies come as his contingency and fanbase feverishly defend him. Most of them are not apologizing, or even making any concessions, that he is wrong at all.

Clearly, Kanye has been humbled in someway or form. I suppose, losing your billionaire status in a single day will do that. Nevertheless, some of his apologies don’t come across as completely genuine. In fact, they are a direct result of losing money and social status. Cancellation is on the menu and I think he knows that it’s time for him to pull back a little.

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by AllHipHop (@allhiphopcom)

Here’s some of his apology:

“Black lives Matter came out and made us come together as a people. Now, afterwards…yes, there was some..there are some things [about] where the money went. There are some things where was used in order to push us to the Democratic vote. They were people behind that that happened [but] the general feeling.. so when I said that and I and I and I questioned the death of George Floyd, it hurt my people, it hurt The Black People , so wanna apologize to them because right now.

Because right now, God has shown me by what Adidas is doing and by what the media is doing, I know how I feels to have a knee on my neck now. Thank you God for humbling me and letting me know how I really felt, because how could the richest black man ever be humble other than to be made to not be a billionaire in front of everyone off of one comment. Actually, if you look at the definition of DefCon, it means to get extra defense I must’ve needed…yeah.”

I am not really accepting the apology until he does something about it. Just saying some words is not enough at this time. Intention and actions matter.

His fans do not want him to back down, but they are not the ones losing it all. He is. And, believe you me, he’s feeling it. When he said “George Bush doesn’t like Black people,” he eventually said sorry. There was no real social media then so it was not widely known.

In the interest of being fair, here is the entire convo.

EXCLUSIVE: Cardi B Wants “Unhinged” And “Depraved” Tasha K. To Pay Up $3.8 Million Judgment NOW

Cardi B refuses to let her nemesis Tasha K. wiggle out of a $3.8 million verdict for defamation.

Earlier today (October 28th), the rap star’s legal team asked the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals to uphold the massive verdict against the YouTuber.

In January, a jury awarded Cardi a massive judgment after finding Tasha K. liable for claiming Cardi was a former prostitute with HPV and herpes.

Jurors found that Tasha K. defamed the rapper, invaded her privacy, and intentionally inflicted emotional distress on Cardi B with her lies. Tasha K. has been attempting to appeal the verdict to have the judgment reduced or overturned.

In the meantime, a judge ruled that Tasha K must put up $3.8 million in the form of what’s known as a Supersedeas bond to ensure Cardi would get the full judgment If Tasha K. loses the appeal – which seems likely.

According to Cardi’s latest legal filing, the “depraved” vlogger has no chance of winning the appeal, primarily based on Tasha’s assertion that crucial evidence was excluded.

“The totality of evidence was more than sufficient for the jury to find that [Tasha K.’s] conduct was not merely vulgar, tasteless, rude, or insulting. Rather, their unrelenting and self-described ‘campaign’ was motivated solely by greed and spite and was so abusive and obscene that any reasonable person would find that [Cardi B’s] intense feelings of humiliation, embarrassment, shame, and outrage were the natural result of [Tasha K.s] conduct,” Cardi B’s lawyer W. Andrew Pequignot explained.

In September 2020, Tasha admitted she knew the allegations that Cardi cheated on Offset while spreading HPV were fake, but she continued to publish blatant lies anyway.

Cardi B wants a judge to uphold an $3.8 million verdict against Tasha K.

“[Tasha K.] is in the business of spreading salacious rumors about celebrities for profit. In their words, they ‘sell drama,’ and they do not let the truth get in the way of putting out a story that will make money for them. Kebe admitted that she would not hesitate to publish a knowingly false story if it would attract viewers,” Pequignot said.

Tasha K.’s own statements present the biggest challenge to winning her appeal. For instance, she hopped on an IG live and admitted she was publishing bogus stories about Cardi B.

“I knew it was fake, and guess what, because I knew it was m############ fake, I still made that s### go viral, I still made it go viral, you dumb ho, and it does nothing to my credibility at all,” Tasha K. said in a video that was introduced as evidence against her.

Cardi and her lawyers said Tasha K.’s behavior grew more extreme after the lawsuit was filed, and she embarked on an ill-fated vendetta to take down the rap star by using hashtags like #herpesB in an attempt to go viral to cause maximum damage and embarrassment.

Cardi’s lawyer said Tasha K.’s conduct has been “patently outrageous and depraved” and that her behavior and statements were “repugnant.”

The rapper and her legal team want the Appeals Court to affirm the verdict.

Kyrie Irving Says “Anti-Semitic” Label Not Justified After Promoting Book And Film Claiming Powerful Jews Worship Satan

Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving has come forward to deny he is antisemitic after he promoted a movie with stereotypes about Jewish people and disinformation.

Irving promoted a movie called “Hebrews to Negroes: Wake Up Black America,” which was released in 2018 and is based on a 2015 book by the same name.

The book and movie claim that high-ranking Jewish executives and politicians worship Satan and that modern Jews, Christians, and Muslims have covered up the true identity of The Children of Israel.

The book says anti-black racism can be traced directly to Jewish religious texts.

After some intense media scrutiny, Kyrie Irving came forward to explain himself today (October 29th).

I am an OMNIST [one who respects all religions and gods] and I meant no disrespect to anyone’s religious beliefs. The ‘Anti-Semitic’ label that is being pushed on me is not justified and does not reflect the reality or truth I live in everyday. I embrace and want to learn from all walks of life and religions. Hélà,” Kyrie Irving said.

Brooklyn Nets owner Joe Tsai was also forced to issue an official statement regarding Kyrie’s comments and his own position.

“I’m disappointed that Kyrie appears to support a film based on a book full of anti-Semitic disinformation,” Tsai tweeted. “I want to sit down and make sure he understands this is hurtful to all of us, and as a man of faith, it is wrong to promote hate based on race, ethnicity or religion.”

On Friday, October 28th, the team released a statement saying, “The Brooklyn Nets strongly condemn and have no tolerance for the promotion of any form of hate speech. We believe that in these situations, our first action must be open, honest dialogue. We thank those, including the ADL (Anti-Defamation League), who have been supportive during this time.”

Kyrie’s comments come on the heels of Kanye West’s claims that Jewish people have an unusual amount of control over the music, film, and sports industries.

During an interview with Piers Morgan, Ye said he wants to have the record labels, movie companies and the NFL and NBA do a live stream to analyze the top stars’ deals to prove his point.

Elon Musk Says He Didn’t Restore Kanye’s Twitter Account

Kanye is back on Twitter but not because the businessman and its new owner Elon Musk gave the go-ahead.

Twitter’s new owner Elon Musk said he didn’t reinstate Ye’s account, which was suspended for threats against Jewish people and antisemitic statements.

Musk said the microblogging platform did that on its own … even before he took over the company on Thursday, October 27th, after paying $44 billion for the enterprise.

“Ye’s account was restored by Twitter before the acquisition. They did not consult with or inform me,” Musk said in a tweet.

He also shared a post explaining, “Ye [Kanye West] was never suspended by Twitter nor was account taken down His account was “restricted” to read-only mode two weeks ago following an antisemitic tweet. Account restriction is automatically lifted after the user deletes the offending tweet.”

The Grammy Award-winner tweeted for the first time in two years on Saturday, Oct. 8. He returned to the platform after Instagram restricted him for making antisemitic posts. At the time, Musk tweeted his guy, “Welcome back to Twitter, my friend!”

On the next day, Kanye threatened to go “death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE,” while adding he can’t be anti-Semitic because Black people are actually Jew.”

Twitter removed the post and locked Kanye’s account.  Kanye is back on the platform but he is not talking about

Diddy Becomes A Billionaire, Berner Surpasses Dr. Dre As One Of The Richest Rappers On Earth

Hip-Hop mogul Sean “P. Diddy” Combs has joined the exclusive rap billionaire club, becoming the second wealthiest rapper in the world.

Months ago, that title was held by producer-turned-rapper-turned-designer Kanye West until he started floating ideas about George Floyd’s death not being a murder and spewing antisemitic rhetoric— language that alienated him from his business partners and allies.

Even Diddy, aka Brother Love, tried to curb his friend but found himself mocked and ridiculed by Yeezy.

However, now, Diddy finds himself as the second highest-ranking billionaire rapper in the world after almost 35 years of grinding in the industry.

According to ZogBlog, a publication by former Forbes journalist Zack O’Malley Greenburg, the Bad Boy’s investments and business deals have paid off.

“Diddy becomes the third billionaire minted by Hip-Hop surging past Ye on the strength of several assets that have weathered the pandemic remarkably well,” he wrote. “The value of his incredibly resilient Cîroc partnership with Diageo—which functions like an equity stake while creating cash flows for Diddy in the neighborhood of $60 million annually—continues to account for the bulk of his fortune.”

Greenburg also highlighted other businesses that have contributed to the ranking.

“The success of other assets, including DeLeón tequila (he owns half) and Revolt (he’s the majority shareholder), as well as his music catalog, startup investments, and a considerable collection of worldly possessions, have finally pushed the impresario into ten-figure territory,” O’Malley Greenburg informed.

He also shared that Ye remains one of the most financially secure artists in the culture, rocking out with half a billion based on his 5% stake in ex-wife Kim Kardashian’s $3.2 billion shapewear line, his master recordings and music publishing and the Yeezy brand.

Rap star Jay-Z topped the list with a net worth of $1.5 billion, Diddy was #2 with $1 billion, and Kanye was listed at #3 with $500 million.

A newcomer to the list was rapper/marijuana entrepreneur Berner, who overtook Dr. Dre with a net worth of $410 million, thanks to his incredibly successful Cookies brand, which has 48 stores in the U.S. and around the world.

Dr. Dre landed at #5 with $400 million thanks to his sale of Beats to Apple in August of 2014 in a cash and stock deal.

Xscape To Receive Lady Of Soul Honor At 2022 Soul Train Awards

Kandi Burruss-Tucker, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, Tamika Scott, and LaTocha Scott will be recognized at this year’s Soul Train Awards. The ceremony will present the foursome, collectively known as Xscape, with the Lady of Soul honor.

“Given how important Soul Train is to all of us, we’re so thankful to be honored with the Lady of Soul Award this year,” said the members of Xscape in a press release. “It’s going to be an amazing night, and we can’t wait to see you all there.”

Xscape became an R&B force in the 1990s. The Atlanta-bred group’s first album, 1993’s Hummin’ Comin’ at ‘Cha, hosts the Top 10 singles “Just Kickin’ It” and “Understanding.”

Latocha, Tamika, Kandi, and Tiny went on to release 1995’s Off the Hook and 1998’s Traces of My Lipstick. All three albums by Xscape earned Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America.

Xscape Left A Mark In The Music World & The Television World

Kandi Burruss-Tucker and Tameka “Tiny” Harris each won a Grammy Award for co-writing TLC’s #1 smash “No Scrubs” from 1999. All four Xscape members also appeared on reality shows like The Real Housewives of Atlanta, T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle, and R&B Divas: Atlanta.

“Xscape is one of the most notable R&B supergroups of all time. Their powerful vocal harmonies laid the foundation for ‘90s R&B and some of today’s chart-topping hits,” said Connie Orlando, EVP Specials, Music Programming & Music Strategy for BET Networks. “Their sound is undeniably unique and masterful. We look forward to honoring these multi-talented artists collectively on R&B’s biggest stage, Soul Train Awards.”

The 2022 Soul Train Awards presented by BET take place on November 27 at 8 pm ET/PT on BET and BET Her. In addition, BET Soul will dedicate a full hour to a collection of Xscape music videos on October 28 at 5 pm ET.

Renaissance album creator Beyoncé and Good Morning Gorgeous album creator Mary J. Blige lead the list of 2022 Soul Train Award nominees. Both vocalists earned 7 nods, respectively. Actor/comedian Deon Cole (Barbershop, Black-ish) will serve as the host for the show.

Kanye West Gets Banned By Stephen Colbert During Recent Funny Monologue

Another famous celebrity is distancing themselves from Kanye West after his controversial statements about Jewish People.

Stephen Colbert has banned West, whose legal name is Ye, making his announcement during his Thursday, Oct. 27 night episode’s monologue.

The late-night talk show host said, “I have a big announcement to make. After much thought and soul-searching, I, Stephen Colbert, am banning Kanye West from the Ed Sullivan Theater. I have to. Line in the sand.”

In a joking manner, he added, his “jurisdiction extends into the northern half of Times Square … coming north of Bubba Gump Shrimp.”

Colbert continued by saying, “Stay out of Times Square.”

In his skit, he said, “I have no excuses for why I didn’t do this before except perhaps that he has never been on the show, we had no plans for him to be on the show, we have never asked him to be on the show and I am not sure he is aware that I have a show.”

“I had to do it now because I was afraid, he would just show up at any moment,” the comedian continued.

While this was a joke, probably mocking the pile-on of people distancing themselves from the artist and his vile comments, the multi-Grammy Award-winner has been seriously dissed by others and it has cost him a pretty penny.

A number of brands and partners like GAP, Adidas, Vogue, Balenciaga, and more have all stepped away.

His net worth has dropped substantially too. In July, he was worth $6.6 billion and as of this week, he is worth $400 million and is being sued by a litany of people looking to knock that number down significantly also.

Do you think Colbert was serious?

Madam Tussauds Takes Down Figure Of Kanye West After Public Outcry Based On His Recent Statements

Another famous brand distanced itself from Kanye West after his controversial statements about George Floyd and Jewish People.

According to the Journal, Madame Tussauds has removed West, whose legal name is Ye, from the public view, releasing a statement to the press explaining their actions.

“Ye’s (Kanye West’s) figure has been retired from the attraction floor to our archive,” the release informs. “Each profile earns their place at Madame Tussauds London, and we listen to our guests and the public on who they expect to see at the attraction.”

The multi-Grammy Award-winner was honored with a replica in 2015 where it stood beside his then-wife Kim Kardashian.

He was also censored on social media after vowing to go “death con 3” on Jewish people.

While many brands and partners like GAP, Adidas, Vogue, Balenciaga, and more have stepped away, his music partners have not.

According to Spotify’s chief executive Daniel Ek, while West’s comments were “awful,” they will not be pulling his music from the streaming service.

He also said the decision to have his music removed would also come from Universal Music’s Def Jam label, the record company that Ye was signed to.

Watch DJ Semtex’s “Scary” Video Featuring Cozz and Twitch 4EVA

DJ Semtex is used to making big, international connections. During his epic, 15-year run with the UK’s BBC Radio 1Xtra, he gave artists like Drake, Nicki Minaj and Kanye West some of their earliest and most crucial overseas exposure. It’s no wonder these and other rap superstars have continued to sit in his hot seat long after they made themselves scarce with the media. (Semtex currently holds down rival station Capital XTRA, and hosts the podcast Hip Hop Raised Me).

Now, Semtex is bringing the same spirit to his own original music productions for his label, Seminal Sound. On the brand-new single “Scary,” he brings the underrated, L.A-based Dreamville rapper Cozz together with Twitch 4EVA, one of the most exciting new stars in Ghana’s exploding music scene, to create an epic, distinctive Trap Soul banger.

With its Halloween references and ominous bass line, “Spooky” is right on time for the season of costume parties and gloomy weather. The horror that Cozz and Twitch 4EVA speak of in their lyrics is not supernatural, however, but the thought of losing out on love. If you’ve ever been in a relationship that’s gone from smooth sailing to shaky ground, you’ll surely be able to relate.

The video, shot between Ghana and Los Angeles, is similarly full of dark shadows and existential dread. While Semtex and Twitch 4EVA encounter turbulence, fog and torrential rains on their way out to enjoy Accra’s nightlife, Cozz wakes up with the night terrors at home in L.A., where he’s haunted by the thoughts of losing his lady love.

Check out the “Scary” video below, and look out for more continent-bridging collabs from DJ Semtex and Seminal Sound.
