Lil Nas X Has Some Words For Dave Chappelle Following “The Dreamer” Jokes About Him

Lil Nas X is responding to Dave Chappelle’s latest Netflix comedy special, The Dreamer. At one point during the set, Chappelle recalls meeting the “Old Town Road” artist who supposedly told him he tried to get him into his controversial “MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)” video in 2021. Elsewhere, he imagines Lil Nas X as a little kid telling his teacher his dreams of being “the gayest n#### that ever lived.”

Lil Nas X shared a clip of the special and wrote in the caption, “yall gotta let call me by your name go, me and the devil broke up 3 years ago. yall acting like children of divorce.”

Chappelle’s special was bound to get a slew of reactions on social media, which includes several jokes targeting the trans community and disabled people. Toward the beginning of the special, he tells a story about visiting actor Jim Carrey while he was shooting the 1999 film Man on the Moon, in which he went method on set while portraying comedian Andy Kaufman. Chappelle recalls being “very disappointed” that he spent the day speaking to Carrey pretending to be Kaufman, ending by saying, “That’s how trans people make me feel.”

Chappelle later addressed the controversy surrounding his previous standup specials, saying, “If you guys came here to this show tonight thinking that I’m going to make fun of those people again, you’ve come to the wrong show. I’m not f###ing with those people anymore. It wasn’t worth the trouble. I ain’t saying s### about them. Maybe three or four times tonight, but that’s it.

“I’m tired of talking about them. And you want to know why I’m tired of talking about them? Because these people acted like I needed them to be funny. Well, that’s ridiculous. I don’t need you. I got a whole new angle coming. You guys will never see this s### coming. I ain’t doing trans jokes no more.”

But that was short-lived. He eventually returned to the topic, saying, “To be honest with you, I’ve been trying to repair my relationship with the transgender community cause I don’t want them to think that I don’t like them. You know how I’ve been repairing it? I wrote a play. I did. Cause I know that gays love plays. It’s a very sad play, but it’s moving. It’s about a Black transgender woman whose pronoun is, sadly, n####a. It’s a tear-jerker. At the end of the play she dies of loneliness cause white liberals don’t know how to speak to her. It’s sad.”

He continued, “God forbid I ever go to jail. But if I do, I hope it’s in California. Soon as the judge sentences me, I’ll be like, ‘Before you sentence me, I want the court to know I identify as a woman. Send me to a woman’s jail.’ As soon I get in there, you know what I’mma be doing. ‘Give me your fruit cocktail, b####, before I knock your motherf###ing teeth out. I’m a girl, just like you, b####. Come here and suck this girl d### I got. Don’t make me explain myself. I’m a girl.’”

Lil Nas X, of course, is openly gay and often makes light of the homophobia he experiences through social media.

50 Cent Questions State Of California For Offering Illegal Migrants Health Insurance: “WTF”

50 Cent is calling on MSNBC anchor Ari Melber to help him make sense of California’s recent decision to offer illegal migrants health insurance. The Power mogul took to Instagram on Wednesday (January 3) to share a headline that read: “CALIFORNIA BECOMES FIRST US STATE TO OFFER HEALTH INSURANCE TO ALL ILLEGAL MIGRANTS.”

He wrote in the caption, “I don’t understand this, this it going to cost 2.6 billion dollars for tax payers. They don’t even give veterans health insurance. @arimelber call my phone now, help me understand this s###. WTF.”

As Melber told AllHipHop via text, he quickly replied to 50 Cent’s request, writing, “We can get into it in the next interview for sure. Gonna be a big 2024. Primaries start this month—ever think of running, 50?!”

https://www.instagram.com/p/C1pQTxUOpLA/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA%3D%3D

50 Cent got some pushback from people like journalist Roland Martin, who said, “Why don’t you call Black-owned media? You are wrong about veterans. We have an entire VA Affairs agency in DC. Second, BY LAW, emergency rooms are REQUIRED to treat ANYONE that comes in. Guess who foots the bill in each county? TAXPAYERS. Also, those illegal immigrants have jobs and pay taxes. So AGAIN, California taxpayers are already footing the bill when people show up to emergency rooms, even for basic care. Those are FACTS.”

Another person added, “So it’s ok for them to clean your homes, hotels, and make your food but not ok for them to be healthy while doing it? Healthcare should be a human right. Period,” while another said, “You guys will believe anything coming from a celebrity cuz veterans and millions of Americans have health care.”

Others are asking for 50 Cent to reconsider his post, writing things like, “Come on 50, don’t do this. When people don’t have healthcare everyone suffers. What do you think happens when the uninsured go to ERs? I absolutely love you but please don’t post on things that fuel hate towards different groups of people. Healthcare SHOULD be a human right.”

As reported by KCRA, California became the first state in the country to offer health insurance to all undocumented immigrants just recently. Beginning in 2024, 750,000 adults between the ages of 26 and 49 years old are now eligible for Medi-Cal benefits.

Akademiks Says He “Helped The Police” During Rape Investigation As He Denies Allegations

Akademiks is denying claims he sexually assaulted an ex-girlfriend along with two of his friends. The outspoken media personality took to his YouTube channel to explain his side of the story and admitted he helped the police in their investigation more than a year ago.

“I was never arrested, it’s documented, Akademiks was never arrested,” he says in the clip. “There was a search warrant. This situation that I mentioned went to the cops over a year and a half ago. It went to the cops. Me and my lawyer were openly cooperative. By the way, some serious allegations, I don’t care whose involved, we helped the police. Whatever you need. You want our phone? You want passcodes? Let’s decrypt our DVR.

“You should see all the footage. There is nothing they did not see. You know what the result of that investigation was? That was officially ruled by the D.A. and the police that there is nothing there.”

The caption reads, “Akademiks discussed the recent allegations, stating that the authorities reviewed both camera surveillance footage in 4K and his phone records, leading to no charges being filed.” But some people aren’t so convinced. As one person wrote in the comment section, “I hope it’s a longer clip of you saying you didn’t do it or let it happen smh it’s giving he did it.”

Akademiks ex-girlfriend Ziya Abashe accused him and his friends of sexual assault and rape in a video posted on December 30. The clip was in response to his own account of an incident in which he claimed to have discovered footage of Abashe engaging in sexual activities with his friends while he was passed out. But she called cap on his story, saying, “For you to pretend you didn’t do anything?

“That I just went to your house and I’m some thot, like we didn’t know each other for 2 years. You tried to save yourself after your friends assaulted me. Whether or not you got drunk or not. I know that when you woke up, you were on top of me too. You raped me too.”

She later added, “I look crazy right now, but I’m not going to stand here and let this man continue to lie about me. That’s not what happened Akademiks, you know that’s not what happened.”

But, as he said elsewhere in the video, he’s not worried about any potential consequences that may have stemmed from the alleged incident.

“I see a lot of people go ‘Ak, you’re gonna be in jail,'” he continued. “There ain’t no charges. There won’t be no charges. And there’s documentation to say, ‘Hey, we looked at everything. Everybody’s clear.’ Not only for me, for everybody involved.”

EXCLUSIVE: DJ Envy’s Ex Business Partner Cesar Pina Negotiating Plea Deal With Feds

DJ Envy’s former business partner, Cesar Pina, is attempting to strike a plea deal with federal prosecutors. Court docs obtained by AllHipHop reveal Pina’s attorneys are asking the judge for a continuance, stating, “Counsel for the parties represented that this additional continuance is necessary for effective preparation and to permit the parties to attempt to resolve this case prior to indictment and thereby avoid a trial.” In other words, they want to negotiate a deal without going to court so the matter can be settled as soon as possible.

“Plea negotiations are currently in progress, and both the United States and the defendant desire additional time to negotiate a plea agreement, which would render grand jury proceedings and a trial in this matter unnecessary,” the docs continue. “Thus, the ends of justice served by granting the continuance and preventing any further non-excludable days from passing under § 3161(h) outweigh the best interest of the public and the defendant in a speedy trial.

“IT IS, therefore ORDERED that this action is continued from the date the Order is signed through February 29, 2024; and it is further ORDERED that those days are excluded in computing time under the Speedy Trial Act of 1974; and it is further ORDERED that nothing in this Order or the application prompting it is a finding or representation that less than 31 non-excludable days under § 3161(h) have expired.”

Federal authorities arrested Pina and charged him with allegedly defrauding dozens of real estate investors late last year. Pina defended Envy in October 2023 not long after his arrest, saying The Breakfast Club co-host had nothing to do with the alleged real estate scam and is only being targeted because he’s the more famous of the two.

“DJ Envy was never in the room with me,” Pina told his Instagram followers. “DJ Envy has nothing to do with any of these 20 lawsuits of these people who are suing me. It f###### sucks, bro.”

Pina also said people are “being coerced to sue people affiliated with me just because they are a bigger name. That’s the situation that breaks my heart. In all these lawsuits, these 20 lawsuits, DJ Envy was never in the room with me.”

He did, however, deny DJ Envy was a victim, saying, “I understand his attorney, his defense to DJ Envy is a victim. That’s the dumbest s### I ever heard in my life. Me and him were partners in the real estate seminars. We are partners in a couple of real estate transactions. That’s it. He’s not a victim. He was my partner. He was an investor.”

6ix9ine Didn’t Pay For His Street Statue In Cuba—According To Sculptor

6ix9ine street statue in Cuba was reportedly a commissioned art project, according to the sculpture artist responsible for the work.

On Tuesday (January 2) cuban sculptor Genis Osorio Vargas shared a post on Instagram detailing the process behind the creation of the bronze memorial statue. According to Vargas, the statue was what he described as a “unique” request he honored for a client.

“Pleasing the customer with a very unique order,” Vargas wrote in the caption. “6ix9ine or Tekashi69, one of the most controversial rappers. no limit to the ideas created from fine art.”

The statue, which is constructed as a bust from the waist up, is currently placed on a street corner and sculpted to resemble a notorious shirtless photo of 6ix9ine holding wads of cash. 6ix9ine has a long-standing relationship with his Cuban demographic, considering his third studio album, Leyenda Viva, was partially recorded in Cuba and features an appearance from Cuban singer Lenier Mesa on the song “Wapae.”

Iggy Azalea Addresses Rumors She Was “Bullied Away From Music”

Iggy Azalea became a breakout star in the 2010s. The “Fancy” hitmaker’s momentum slowed down over the last five years.

Accusations of cultural appropriation played a part in some music fans turning away from Iggy Azalea. An association with convicted felon Tory Lanez also raised eyebrows. However, the Australian rapper insists haters did not push her away from making music.

“I’ve always been someone who finds my joy in being creative & seeing my ideas come to life. For a long time I used music to deliver my big crazy ideas to the world,” Azalea tweeted on Wednesday (January 3).

She continued, “I know a lot of people have this idea that I was ‘bullied away from music’ and that’s something I’ve always laughed at because I’d never be bullied out of anything! In fact, I’m too stubborn.”

Iggy Azalea went on to say that she is currently more passionate about design and creative direction than music. The former T.I. protégé then informed her followers that a new body of work would not drop anytime soon.

“That’s why I want to let you know that I’m not going to finish my album. It’s been paused for a few months while I was giving direction for a different project & in truth I just haven’t felt the urge to go back to it,” Azalea stated.

The 33-year-old entertainer also wrote, “I feel really happy & passionate in my day-to-day life when my mind’s focused on that and so I want to stick to what’s undeniably best for me.”

https://twitter.com/iggyazalea/status/1742504027483488693?s=43&t=xs88XTc6VRps9fEtROda-g

Iggy Azalea presented her debut studio LP, The New Classic, in 2014. In addition, her album catalog contains 2019’s In My Defense and 2021’s The End of an Era. That latter project failed to chart on the Billboard 200.

Tory Lanez announced his intention to executive produce Iggy Azalea’s next music project. That declaration happened before a California jury found Lanez guilty of assaulting Megan Thee Stallion in December 2023.

Many people had a problem with Iggy Azalea working with Tory Lanez. Azalea responded to the online backlash by tweeting, “My bills remain paid without your two cents.”

Boosie Badazz Needs Intervention For “Homosexual Demons” After “Color Purple” Criticism Ts Madison Says

Boosie Badazz is back in the headlines again for his take on the LGBTQ community. After previously complaining about Dwyane Wade’s transgender daughter and openly gay rapper Lil Nas X, this time Boosie took issue with The Color Purple motion picture.

“I had to walk out of The Color Purple movie… because I had my little girls with me [and] it seemed like a [rainbow emoji] love story!!” Boosie tweeted on Tuesday (January 2).

He returned to X (formerly Twitter) to add, “Why if someone doesn’t agree with the [rainbow emoji] narrative that’s being pushed why do y’all say that person who doesn’t agree is [rainbow emoji]? That’s bullying.”

Boosie also posted, “My granddad was a preacher (Southern Baptist) [and] I’m just tryna raise my kids with the same beliefs [and[ respect we was raise with. It’s just this world will have [you in] a fight to do so!!”

Critics Bring Up Boosie’s Past Comments About Lesbians & Sexualizing Underage Boys

Many social media users called out Boosie for his apparent hypocrisy. For example, online commenters pointed out the Baton Rouge native’s “They Dykin'” song. That track includes the lines, “Two redbones kissin’ in da back seat. Girl, don’t stop keep going and relax me.”

Other people brought up Boosie admitting to having a “grown woman” perform oral sex on his then-underage son and nephews. After facing widespread backlash, he later claimed those comments were him “just clowning” on Instagram.

As far as The Color Purple criticism, transgender media personality Ts Madison slammed the 41-year-old southerner for apparently ignoring the depictions of sexual, physical and mental abuse by men in the film.

Ts Madison Goes In On The Outspoken Rapper

“So #lilboosie you sat there with your daughter while [Celie’s] ‘Daddy’ took her [second] child that he fathered and gave it to the pastor and his wife. You sat there with your daughter while Mister came and bought her from her daddy at 14,” Ts Madison posted on Instagram.

The RuPaul’s Drag Race judge also wrote, “You sat there with your daughter while MISTER enslaved CELIE to cook and clean his nasty house with HIS children. You sat there with your daughter and watched MISTER beat, sexually destroy and drag Celie all over the floor. You sat there with your daughter and watched MISTER bring his side chick into the house with CELIE.”

“Then you try and come to social media and bring the ‘what about the kids mane’ campaign you been on and attempt to use God to justify you and the people who stand with you???? Tuh… and they call us DELUSIONAL,” Ts Madison continued.

The Perfect Find cast member concluded, “Sir: the character you play in real life is MISTER, The Daddy, The pastor and all the other men who abused CELIE in that movie!! And have the nerve to finally be ‘concerned’ about what a kiss would do to ‘influence’ your daughter… There is truly some intervention needed in your life to sort out these homosexual demons you’re fighting… #shifttheconcern this year #2024.”

Nick Grant: AllHipHop’s 2023 Lyricist of the Year

This is not Nick Grant’s first time at the rodeo.

Starting in a small South Carolina town, Nick tumbled into Hip-Hop have a challenge among friends on who had the best bars. Accepting that challenge proved to be life-altering, revealing his innate talent and competitive spirit. Upon relocation to Atlanta, he fully immersed himself in a vibrant musical environment. He engaged in rap battles with college students while still in high school. Slowly, but surely he was becoming his highest self.

In 2023, Nick Grant became a master with the release of his magnum opus, Sunday School. In an interview with AllHipHop, he revealed this is the album he has always wanted to create, but was unable to do so within the framework of a major lable. At that time, around 2017, he was a younger MC and also managed by some music industry heavies that knew more than him. Through it all, with consistency and resilience, he persisted to this point. But, he did not stop with the album. Nick bombed on his peers time after time with freestyle after freestyle after freestyle – all with premium, goat-tier bars that likely have folks like Andre 3000 staying retired. (See those freestyles below.)

Nick Grant’s existence within Hip-Hop is the constant commitment to his craft. His focus on individuality, diverse subject matter, and musical experimentation is an anamoly. He’s been been a darling by the media, tastemakers, and a hardcore fanbase. His resolve as an artist sets him apart, but also positions him as a potential influence in Hip-Hop. Sunday Dinner is bar heavy, but his dense, often intellectual, wordplay is never corny or overbearing. His battle bars have metastasized into a euphony of songs, a no-skip album of 16 songs. His ability as a battle rap journeyman to the top of a fiercely competitive rap game in 2023 is nothing less than phenmenal. He’s more than a testament of passion, skill, and determination, he’s hope personified. Salute.

Who were your favorite MCs of 2023?

50 Cent Praises Uncle Murda For Dissing Diddy On “Rap Up 2023 Part 2”

50 Cent refuses to let up on his longtime target Diddy. The G-Unit boss has been one of the most outspoken critics of his fellow New York City-raised mogul.

In particular, 50 Cent has repeatedly teased making a documentary about the multiple sexual misconduct allegations against Diddy. Uncle Murda also addressed those accusations in his “Rap Up 2023 Pt 2” track.

“I’m like, did he do it? Did he drug her? Did he rape her? If you didn’t do this s###, Diddy, why did you pay her?” Uncle Murda said in the song. Those lyrics refer to the Bad Boy label founder settling a sexual assault lawsuit with his ex-girlfriend Cassie.

Murda also rapped, “You was an icon, n####. You ruined it. Diddy documentary coming out. 50 Cent shooting it.” 50 seemed to find amusement in Uncle Murda’s bars about his rival.

In response, 50 shared a snippet of “Rap Up 2023 Pt 2” on Instagram. The recording artist/television producer captioned the post, “2023 Rap up @unclemurda went crazy [grinning squinting face emojis].”

Uncle Murda signed to 50 Cent’s G-Unit Records in 2016. The two MCs worked together on songs such as 2017’s “Statute Of Limitations” and 2018’s “Get The Strap.”

50 Cent has spent years taking shots at Diddy online and in interviews. Many of 50’s takedowns would involve questioning The Love Album: Off the Grid creator’s sexuality.

In October 2023, 50 Cent suggested his animosity towards Diddy stems from rumors the Dirty Money member was involved in the death of Tupac Shakur. 50 stated, “Maybe I said that s### about Puffy because he got Tupac killed.”

6ix9ine Statue Shows Up In Cuba

2023 was a rough year for Tekashi 6ix9ine. Authorities in Sánchez, Dominican Republic arrested him in October for assault. Nevertheless, supporters in another Caribbean country showed love to the controversial rapper by immortalizing him with a sculpture.

An image of a Tekashi 6ix9ine statue in Cuba began spreading across the internet over the last week. Cuban sculptor Genis Miguel Osoria Vargas unveiled the figure on his Instagram page.

“The job is misunderstood, but I will say it without fail… WITH THE PRIDE OF THE WORLD DEFENDING MY SCULPTURE AND MY COLLEAGUES WHO WORK HARD TO ACHIEVE SAID RESULT,” read Vargas’s Instagram caption. The message was originally written in Spanish.

He also wrote, “IT IS A COMMISSION AT THE REQUEST OF A CLIENT, IRRESPECTIVE OF HOW TEKASHI 69 HANDLES IN HIS PERSONAL LIFE AND HIS ART, WHETHER IT IS POOR OR NOT IN HIS CONCEPT, HIS AESTHETIC, ARTISTIC AND CONCEPTUAL BUDGETS ARE SPRAYED BY THE ABILITY IN VIRTUE TO HELP THE NEIGHBOR, THE GIVE WITHOUT MORE.”

6ix9ine rose to prominence in America and around the world with songs such as “Gummo,” “Kooda,” and “Fefe.” The Brooklyn native’s “Trollz” with Nicki Minaj peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2020.

However, some Hip-Hop fans view Tekashi as a pariah of the culture. He repeatedly engaged in feuds with numerous other rappers like Chief Keef, Lil Durk, and Future.

6ix9ine also caught heat for pleading guilty and testifying against his co-defendants during the 2019 federal trial of the Nine Trey Gangsters. Tekashi’s prison sentence essentially derailed his music career in America. The rainbow-haired entertainer has not had a sustained Hot 100 hit since 2020.

Scar Lip Responds To People Calling Her Ugly For Being Dark-Skinned

Scar Lip rose from local rapper to national figure in 2023 with her “This is New York” single. The new year begins with the rapper addressing online fans making fun of her looks.

“People telling me I’m not pretty, and that bothers me a little bit. Cause I believe I’m beautiful,” Scar Lip stated in an Instagram Live video.

“You want me to feel bad about me or something? To tell me those things. I’m Black. Yes, I sure am Black. Actually, very Black. But that doesn’t take away my beauty,” Scar continued.

She also said, “That doesn’t make me feel good when you tell me that guys, when you tell me I’m not pretty, when you tell me I’m ugly, when you tell me no man wants to sleep with me. Things like that make me feel horrible.”

Scar Lip went on to talk about being bullied as a child for being dark-skinned. The Epic Records signee recalled, “Kids called me things, teased me, told me I’m ugly.”

Hip-Hop heavyweights like Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes and Cardi B have co-signed the rap newcomer. Grammy-winning music producer Swizz Beatz even compared Scar to the late DMX.

“I’ve never seen an artist that just naturally has what I know DMX has. And they’re two different artists, two different levels, yes. But I’m not talking about that. I’m talking about in here,” Swizz stated in May 2023.

Grime Pioneer Skepta Announces First Album In Five Years: “Knife and Fork”

Skepta is returning to his first love, announcing his sixth studio album, Knife and Fork, set to arrive later this month.

The pioneering Grime artist’s last solo offering was 2019’s Ignorance Is Bliss, which reached No. 2 in the U.K. chart. Skepta took to Instagram on New Year’s Day to acknowledge fans’ pleas and announce Knife and Fork and its lead single.

“It’s been years since I dropped my last album and I want to thank you for all the love during my hiatus,” he began. “I’ve seen the messages, tweets and Tik Toks, I’m truly grateful that my music is still resonating with the world even in my absence.”

He continued, “I’m happy to announce my next studio album #KnifeAndFork is loading, the first single #GasMeUp (Diligent) will be out January 26th.”

Skepta concluded his post with a reminder of his upcoming Big Smoke Festival. The inaugural event is set to take place over two stages in South East London’s Crystal Palace Park on July 6. The Más Tiempo Stage is named after the house music record label Skepta and fellow U.K. grime legend and Boy Better Know member Jammer recently launched last year.

During a recent appearance on Capital Xtra, Skepta explained the Big Smoke Festival was created to open doors for overlooked artists.

“I just feel like we’ve done the festival thing with other festivals for so many years,” he shared. “It’s good to give other people space to do the headline and just step aside and let new people come through. For us, it’s just about building something where we could always feel like we’re on a good stage and be able to put other people on a good stage maybe that wouldn’t have got a look in at these other festivals.”

Teyana Taylor Goes Viral Doing “Water” Dance With Tyla

Teyana Taylor and Tyla sent temperatures soaring when they linked up in the club and ended up doing the viral “Water” challenge.

The duo had fans clamoring for a collab after seeing the pair’s chemistry. The breakout South African artist removed her coat, revealing a white sequined two-piece as she joined Taylor on the dancefloor. Clubgoers watched on as Tyla and Teyana Taylor performed the song’s viral choreography.

Last month, Teyana Taylor went viral after hitting up a Miami strip club with Janelle Monáe and Victoria Monèt. The ladies put on a steamy display, which culminated in Taylor giving Monáe sultry lap dance.

Meanwhile, last September reports surfaced that Teyana Taylor filed for divorce from her soon-to-be former husband, Iman Shumpert. She addressed details of the filing leaking in an Instagram post in November.

“I mind my business, don’t bother nobody & y’all know I’ve never played about my children, family & our privacy,” Taylor wrote in part. “I have not spoken on this private matter to any media outlets or blogs etc. So everyone claiming ‘said’ didn’t get any statements directly from ME. These statements were taken from private court documents that were leaked to the public.”

Taylor said it was “heartbreaking” seeing “such a private matter” made “public” for the world to see.

“However, Protecting my family is one thing I’ve ALWAYS done & for my children I will continue to do so,” she added.

Taylor cited “cruel treatment” as the reason for their split in her divorce filing. According to court documents, Shumpert asked a judge to dismiss her claim that she wanted to end their marriage because she felt endangered.

Meek Mill Warns Youth To Shun “Gangsta” Lifestyle: Be “Smart” To Get Out Of Poverty

Meek Mill is dishing out some advice to the younger generation, warning youths to shun a “gangsta” lifestyle as a way out of poverty.

The Philly rapper took to social media on the second day of the year to share some wisdom with his followers.

“Being gangsta will get you hurt put in jail or killed,” Meek Mill began his post on X. “Being smart will get you out of poverty and your family and friends living better.

Furthermore, Meek Mill said that there’s “no comparison,” insisting that “being smart is the only solid way out the trenches… everything else is wide range life risk just to survive!”

After spending many years on probation, Meek Mill uses his platform to advocate for criminal justice reform. He now serves as a Co-Chair of the REFORM Alliance non-profit organization alongside Michael Rubin.

Last month, the Philly rapper broke down during a bill signing ceremony to celebrate the passage of probation reform, a bill he championed.

“We grew up in the streets,” Meek told the crowd, which included Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro. “We try to be better, but they labeled us ‘felons,’ sent us back to jail. I had to fight against that the whole time to gain my respect and be who I am today. And I’m proud of that.”

https://www.instagram.com/p/C043WVcp5ya/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

Meek Mill recently responded to criticisms over his musical content. Fellow rapper Dee-1 questioned him being “the face of prison reform” and said Meek “can do better.”

He replied via Instagram, writing, “I was rapping this way when I became the face of reform… That’s how I got there, y’all forgot that fast.”

Chrisean Rock Says Son Met Blueface’s Dad But Baby “Mistreated By His Own Father”

Chrisean Rock confirmed that her son with Blueface met his grandfather, but she can’t understand why the MILF Music founder continues to deny he’s Chrisean Rock Jr.’s father.

The reality TV star took to Instagram Live Tuesday (January 2), from the studio, where she played a snippet of her verse on the remix of Sexyy Red’s “Bow Bow Bow (F My Baby Dad).

“Junior saw his granddad for the first time,” Chrisean Rock told her followers. When her friend suggested the visit was “progress,” Rock disagreed. “It’s not even progress, that s### was…” she replied. “I love it it’s just what’s the joke about him not being the father when he’s the father.”

She continued, saying Chrisean Rock Jr. “being mistreated by his own father is kind of like I wonder what God got in store for a n#### like that.”

Blueface has denied paternity of Chrisean Rock’s baby on multiple occasions. Last month, he took to social media, claiming he secretly did a DNA test on the baby, which confirmed his suspicions.

“Tell me why I snook an swab this baby dna test results came in….iam not the father smh [facepalm emoji],” he wrote on December 9. “It’s a bitter sweat feeling c## I was coming around to it but definitely in my best interest [prayer hands emoji] thank you Jesus [smiley face emoji].

“I can’t even pretend like im not happy as hell,” he added.

Last July, Chrisean Rock claimed she also did a DNA test which confirmed Blueface is Junior’s father.

Capturing Time Unveiled: Exploring CapCut’s Online Photo Editor and the Time-lapse Creation Feature

Introduction

In the ever-evolving landscape of digital creativity, the concept of time takes center stage with CapCut’s Online Photo Editor along with its online video editor and its innovative ‘sharpen image‘ feature. This tool transcends the static confines of traditional photography, inviting users to embark on a cinematic journey through time. In this article, we delve into the intricacies of CapCut’s Time-lapse Creation, exploring the techniques and possibilities that unfold when still images evolve into dynamic visual narratives.

Chronicles of Change: Understanding the Essence of Time-lapse

Time-lapse photography is a mesmerizing technique that condenses the passage of time into a visual symphony. It’s a medium where moments unfold in accelerated sequences, revealing the subtle nuances of change that escape the naked eye. CapCut’s Time-lapse Creation feature brings this captivating technique to the fingertips of creators, allowing them to weave stories that transcend the static constraints of traditional photography. At its core, time-lapse creation involves capturing a series of still images over time and stitching them together into a seamless video. CapCut’s online photo editor simplifies this process, providing a user-friendly interface for transforming a sequence of images into a dynamic time-lapse. Each frame in the time-lapse becomes a snapshot of a fleeting moment, and when played in succession, they unfold like the pages of a visual story, capturing the essence of change and progression. Beyond capturing the obvious transitions like the movement of clouds or the changing colors of a sunset, time-lapse photography has the power to unveil hidden patterns and rhythms in the world around us. It’s a technique that reveals the dance of shadows, the subtle growth of plants, or the bustling activity of urban landscapes. CapCut’s Time-lapse Creation feature becomes a portal to uncover these hidden narratives, providing a canvas for creators to explore the dynamic tapestry of time.

Mastering the Art: Techniques for Time-lapse Brilliance

Central to crafting a captivating time-lapse is choosing the right interval between frames. CapCut’s Time-lapse Creation feature allows users to dictate how often a photo is taken during the time-lapse sequence. The interval defines the pacing of the time-lapse, influencing how fast or slow the progression appears in the final video. Whether capturing a sunset in fast motion or the gradual unfolding of a blooming flower, the choice of interval is a key consideration in mastering the art of time-lapse. While time-lapse is about condensing time, the individual frames must remain stable to ensure a smooth and seamless sequence. CapCut’s online photo editor addresses this challenge by offering stabilization features that minimize the effects of camera shakes or minor movements between frames. The result is a time-lapse that flows seamlessly, providing viewers with an immersive experience that feels like a continuous, uninterrupted journey through time.

Time-lapse photography allows creators to experiment with dynamic compositions that evolve. CapCut’s Time-lapse Creation feature empowers users to not only capture the changing scenery but also to compose frames that enhance the overall visual impact. From framing the movement of stars in the night sky to creating dramatic perspectives of urban life, dynamic composition becomes a powerful tool for elevating the storytelling potential of time-lapse sequences. As time-lapse sequences span across different times of the day or night, lighting conditions naturally change. CapCut’s Time-lapse Creation tool includes features that help creators adapt to these light variations, ensuring consistency throughout the sequence. Whether adjusting exposure settings or fine-tuning color balance, these techniques contribute to the overall visual cohesiveness of the time-lapse, allowing it to unfold as a harmonious progression through time.

From creating abstract compositions that showcase the ebb and flow of natural elements to capturing the pulse of urban life in fast-forward, time-lapse becomes a versatile form of artistic expression.

In educational contexts, time-lapse becomes a powerful tool for visualizing processes that unfold gradually. Boosie Badazz Claims He’s Being Bullied Over Objections To “The Color Purple” Lesbian Romance

Boosie Badazz has responded to backlash from social media users over his criticism of the lesbian romance in The Color Purple movie.

The Baton Rouge-bred rapper came under fire after revealing he walked out of a screening of the movie, claiming scriptwriters were pushing an LGBTQ narrative. He took to X Tuesday (January 2), to respond to the backlash, claiming he’s being bullied over his opinion.

“WHY IF SOMEONE DOESNT AGREE WITH THE NARRATIVE THATS BEING PUSHED WHY DO YALL SAY THAT THE PERSON WHO DOESNT ARGREE IS,” Boosie began. “THATS BULLYING WE HAVE A RIGHT AS PARENTS TO SAY ITS NOT COOL FOR A 7 N 9 YEAR OLD TO WATCH THIS. WE HAVE RIGHTS AS PARENTS TO PROTECT OUR CHILDREN AS MUCH AS WE CAN.”

Boosie continued, insisting that he has “NO PROBLEM AT ALL WITH PEOPLE.” He went on to say his grandad was a Southern Baptist preacher, and he wants to raise his kids with “THE SAME BELIEFS N RESPECT,” he had growing up. “ITS JUST THIS WORLD WILL HAVE U N A FIGHT TO DO SO,” he added.

After his initial criticism of the movie, “IT SEEMED LIKE A [rainbow flag emoji] LOVE STORY,” social media users pointed out that the storyline originates from Alice Walker’s 1982 novel The Color Purple

Social Media Users Respond To Boosie’s “The Color Purple” Take

However, his follow-up post did little to quash the backlash. Trans actress and pioneering producer Ts Madison shared a lengthy post on Instagram. She questioned why Boosie was uncomfortable with the lesbian relationship in the movie and not some of the harrowing scenes and storylines.

Madison compared Boosie to the abusive characters in the movie and said he needs an “intervention” to “sort out these homosexual demons you’re fighting.”

One X user shared a video of Boosie proudly revealing that he hired sex workers to perform oral sex on his sons and nephews aged 12 and 13, while others noted that one of his daughters is lesbian.

Janelle Monáe Doesn’t Like To Be Defined By Clothing

Janelle Monáe chooses clothes that prevent them from being defined.

Janelle Monáe – who uses she/they pronouns – opened up about embarking on a journey of self-discovery through art and fashion during Harper’s Bazaar’s “Life Lessons” video series.

“Style for me is creative – and honestly, I don’t think it can be taught. Or bought,” Janelle told the outlet. “It’s a very artistic process for me. It comes from your soul, it comes from your spirit, it comes from your essence… Style is a reflection of who you are at that time.”

“I think what we wear has the potential to make very powerful statements – politically, artistically,” the multi-hyphenate continued. “I’m non-binary; for me, my clothing says, ‘You can’t define me.'”

Janelle Monáe told the publication that she loves exploring different styles and is unafraid to try new ensembles, noting that she doesn’t want to bore her followers by repeating the same look.

They added, “Anyone can tell you what a trend is, but ultimately it has to come from your heart and your soul. Just like when I’m creating music, I’m writing; anything artistic, it has to be honest to who you are.”

Janelle, who released the album, The Age of Pleasure, in June, was named Musician of the Year by the outlet near the end of 2023.
