Ice Cube Says FIBA Is Blocking Big3 Game Vs. Olympic Gold Medalist 3×3 Basketball Team

Ice Cube is figuratively forcing the hand of FIBA, the International Basketball Federation, following his challenge of the 2024 Paris Olympics gold medal-winning 3×3 Men’s basketball team.

During a recent interview at one of his league’s games, Cube provided an update on his recent challenge to the winners of the three-on-three basketball competition during the Olympic games.

While the “No Vaseline” rap OG indicated that the gold medal-winning team, The Netherlands, had agreed to play against the Big3, he appeared convinced the game wouldn’t actually materialize. His reasoning, of course, was none other than what he alleges is interference from FIBA.

“Well, to their credit, they [The Netherlands] accepted the challenge, but it’s FIBA,” Ice Cube said. “FIBA is scared of the Big3. So FIBA is preventing them from playing in our all-star game. So don’t look like it’s going to happen because of that.

“It sucks when politicians get in the way of sports and fandom, but we’re going to still have a great all-star game. Still going to have a great championship celebrity game next week. No sweat off our brow.”

Though it appears as though the Big3 match up against The Netherland’s may not occur this year, Cube seemed enthusiastic about the thought of playing future exhibition games overseas with players from his league.

“We’ll play ’em anywhere they want to play, any rules they want to play with,” he said. “We still think we got the best three-on-three players in the world.”

This isn’t the first time the West Coast Hip-Hop legend has accused a major power in the world of basketball of attempting to foil the success and longevity of the Big3. Last year in July he called on the National Basketball Association (NBA) to drop a bylaw he believes is unfairly hindering his league’s growth. It was then when Cube expressed his frustration with the NBA’s rule that prohibits NBA team owners from investing in competing leagues in a recent interview with JR Sportbrief on WFAN Sports Radio.

“The NBA has a bylaw that states that no one who owns an NBA team can invest in a competing league,” Ice Cube explained. “The Big3 is great. We got some of the best players that ever played the game playing three-on-three. But in no way, shape, or form are we competing with the NBA, so they need to cut that out.”

EXCLUSIVE: Afrika Bambaataa Reunites With Accuser Ronald Savage In “Healing” Moment

Ronald “Bee-Stinger” Savage is a former Hip-Hop artist and figure in New York politics and activism, but he got mainstream attention after accusing Hip-Hop pioneer Afrika Bambaataa of sexual abuse when he was 15.

It seems like there’s a new spirit between the pair as they were seen together at an event for a Zulu Nation Member a week ago. The union was a shocker for those who know the pair’s storied history.

But Savage said the past isn’t going to dictate the future.

“Never underestimate the power of God when he intervenes in an affair he sets everything straight,” Savage told AllHipHop exclusively in a statement.

In 2016, Savage publicly accused Afrika Bambaataa of sexually abusing him when he was a teenager. The allegations were part of a larger scandal that brought forward several other accusations against Bambaataa from different individuals, including popular YouTuber Hassan Campbell.

Savage recently conducted a lengthy interview with Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur, where he offered his view of the man he once accused of sexually accosting him. What he says now is diametrically opposed to his previous assertions.

“Bambaataa is not a pedophile and, in my eyes, he was doing something that was consensual with someone that he thought was of age,” he said. “I wish, back in 2016, I remembered about the fake ID. I wasn’t thinking about that I had forgot about that I was in deep depression and still dealing with the trauma as an adult. I want to apologize for the little kid that didn’t know anybody and just wanted to be down with this thing called Hip-Hop so I pretended to be older.

“This is something that took place 35 to over 40 years ago. This man has never been convicted of anything. Let it go. I needed to set the record straight [and get] my closure.

Savage also said that he hoped the showing would also positively impact the world.

“I just hope this brings healing to people around the world,” he said. “If I can have forgiveness and healing so can you.”

Since levying his charges against Bambaataa, Savage has become an advocate for victims of sexual abuse, particularly within the Hip-Hop community. The 59-year-old has hoped for more protection and support systems for survivors of abuse.

The matter, where seven men accused the legendary Hip-Hop artist of sexual misconduct, has been a controversial figure, particularly as Hip-Hop culture turns 50.

Before Savage and the other accusers, Afrika Bambaataa stood in high regard.

Afrika Bambaataa is credited with helping to lay the foundation for Hip-Hop culture in the 1970s and taking it from gangs into a movement rooted in peace. He also founded the Universal Zulu Nation, a group that promotes “peace, unity, love and having fun.” The organization also believes knowledge is the fifth element of Hip-Hop culture.

Saweetie & YG’s Heated Argument Draws Police Response

Saweetie and YG reportedly had a run-in with cops after the authorities were called over reports of an apparent explosive argument.

According to TMZ, on the afternoon of Sunday (August 11), rap’s new It-couple found themselves at the center of a heated altercation that ended with police intervention. According to insiders, the root of this fiery feud was allegedly a cell phone. Sources say the couple’s argument over the device grew so intense that it rattled the normally tranquil neighborhood, leading a concerned individual to dial 911.

When officers arrived at the lavish Los Angeles pad, YG and Saweetie were reportedly at each other’s throats, embroiled in a verbal disagreement. The authorities stepped in and separated the quarreling lovebirds to get to the bottom of things. But here’s the kicker—despite the drama, there was no physical altercation, and no laws were broken. The police concluded that this was nothing more than a small dispute and a noncriminal report was filed as a result, strictly to document the situation. Eventually, both were left to cool down on their own.

Up until this point, timelines of fans of both Saweetie and YG have seen a blissful union throughout the majority of the summer. Though the couple has reportedly been on and off since first igniting romance rumors at Coachella in April 2023, they have spent a great deal of time together.

In addition to celebrating the Fourth of July together in Compton alongside artists such as Roddy Ricch, Sauce Walka and Kendrick Lamar affiliate Hitta J3, the pair proved to be a hotshot photo-op for paparazzi earlier this summer during their BAE-cation trip to Mexico.

As of yet, neither Saweetie nor YG has publicly commented on the incident. Could this this just a bump in the road, or are storm clouds gathering over this high-profile romance?

Young Thug RICO Trial: YSL Woody Admits He Lied About Rapper’s Alleged Crimes To Police

Young Thug’s YSL RICO trial continues to produce unexpected and explosive hearings, and now yet another courtroom exchange between controversial defendant Lil Woody and prosecutors has gone viral.

During the most recent hearing apart of the ongoing YSL RICO trial, Kenneth Copeland, better known as Lil Woody, took the stand and confessed to fabricating stories about Young Thug’s involvement in criminal activities. Woody claims he led authorities astray, pinning crimes on Thug to alleviate the attention he was attracting from police.

“This is what happened,” Lil Woody began. “OK. The police kept locking me up for whatever they could. Every time I counted the door, the police was on me, and they keep bringing up Thug’s name. So what I did was to get ’em out off me, I said, ‘Thug did this. Thug did that. Thug,’ because I knew they were—I knew he didn’t do it.”

Feeling the relentless pressure from law enforcement, Lil Woody admitted to making Young Thug a scapegoat because he was sure he wouldn’t catch any heat for the false claims.

“In my mind, I knew that the police would never go mess with him [Young Thug],” he explained. “So it was easy for me to try to throw the blame off on him, to get them off of me. And that’s what I was doing from all these years. I don’t remember what I done told them in the past, but my whole motive was Thug did it because I knew he didn’t do it, and they couldn’t lock him up.”

Woody continued, seemingly alluding to the idea that authorities were obsessed with nabbing Young Thug, which is part of the reason why he used the rapper’s name as a shield and a tactic he unabashedly exploited.

“And they keep talking about ‘Thug, Thug, Thug, Thug, Thug,” he recounted. “So guess what I’m going to tell them? ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah’. What else you want me to tell them? Yeah. He killed this person. Yeah, he did that. That’s what I’m going to do.”

In another portion of his testimony, Woody went on to criticize the state’s prosecutors, alleging they have pressured him to appear in court, even though they know he has been lying. As the YSL RICO trial continues to unfold, it has already earned the title of the longest in Georgia’s history.

The trial has been ongoing for 18 months at this point and has seen multiple delays and complications, including a 10-month jury selection process and the recusal of two different judges. Other incidents such as a defendant being stabbed and key witnesses being tampered with by courtroom officials have also derailed the progress of the trial.

A Tribe Called Quest’s Jarobi Slams CNN Over Aussie “B-Girl” Coverage

The fallout from Aussie dancer Rachael “Raygun” Gunn’s disastrous performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics can still be felt on social media. Several pillars of breaking culture, including Crazy Legs and Popmaster Fabel, weighed in over the weekend and now, it’s Jarobi’s turn.

On Monday (August 12), CNN shared an Instagram post featuring Gunn and included the caption, “Australian breaker Raygun has been praised for her ‘courage’ and ‘character’ after her viral performances at the Paris Olympics. Rachael Gunn arrived in Paris as a competitive breaker excited to make her Olympic debut. She leaves an internet sensation, her performances viewed by millions across social media. Gunn is a 36-year-old university lecturer from Sydney, Australia, who balances her day job with her breakdance career, competing at events around the globe.”

The A Tribe Called Quest MC hopped in the comment section and wrote, “Wow! CNN showing its true colors. Making a mockery of someone’s culture takes audacity not courage.”

India. Arie also tossed in her two cents, saying, “sigh … an art created by young black and brown people in the bronx is NOW an Olympic sport and this POORLY EXECUTED EXCUSE FOR THE ART ~ is being praised. this is yet another insult to artists And artists of color. this is why we’re exhausted.”

A post shared by CNN (@cnn)

Gunn’s appearance at the Olympics was part of a historic first; it marked the first time breaking was included on the schedule. In head-to-head battles against b-girls from the USA, France and Lithuania, she pulled out some questionable moves like kangaroo hopping and swimming on the ground, leading to a whopping ZERO points from the judges.

There was a sense even Gunn knew she wasn’t qualified to be there. She later told reporters, “I was never going to beat these girls on what they do best, the dynamic and the power moves, so I wanted to move differently, be artistic and creative because how many chances do you get that in a lifetime to do that on an international stage,” suggesting she knew her moves weren’t on par with high-level b-girls or b-boys.

On Sunday (August 11), the proverbial torch was passed from Paris to Los Angeles, where the 2028 Olympics will be held, but breaking won’t be a part of it. There are reports Brisbane, where the 2032 Olympics are scheduled to take place, wants to bring it back.

Gunn’s viral performance took the spotlight away from Victor Montalvo, Logistx, Ami, Nicka, Shigekix and several other notable breakers, who’ve consistently respected Hip-Hop culture.

Fugees’ Pras Disses Lauryn Hill On New Track: “Blame Her She Made The Mess”

Fugees MC Pras has a new track obtained by AllHipHop called “Bar Mitzfa,” which comes with a few not-so-subtle jabs at bandmate Lauryn Hill.

Among the lyrics: “Don’t blame me, blame her/She made the mess/Not another f#####’ penny, what I told ‘Clef.” The line is likely in reference to Hill’s latest tour debacle. Last week, Hill—who has a longstanding reputation of being unreliable—abruptly canceled all North American tour dates and blamed the media for low ticket sales.

Taking to Instagram on August 7, Hill explained, “With difficulty the decision was made to pull down our upcoming North American tour dates,” she wrote. “The shows in the UK and Europe ARE MOVING FORWARD as planned. Last year, I faced an injury that necessitated the rescheduling of some of my shows. Regrettably, some media outlet’s penchant for sensationalism and clickbait headlines have seemingly created a narrative that has affected ticket sales for the North American portion of the tour.”

She continued, “The trust and faith I have in my intentions and my commitment to my art seem to have been overshadowed by this unfortunate portrayal. The audiences in the UK and Europe not only haven’t seen the Miseducation Anniversary performances yet, they also haven’t seen the Fugees perform together in over 25 years!”

As the news circulated, TMZ caught up with Pras, who suggested he was growing tired of Hill’s unaccountability. While Hill blamed the media’s “clickbait headlines” and “sensationalism” for affecting ticket sales, Pras hinted it was all her doing, saying, “I saved her reputation for 20 years by not telling my side of the story but oops … cat’s out the bag.”

Hill initially offered no explanation for the cancelation. Ticketholders posted screenshots of a message they received from Live Nation stating simply, “Your event has been canceled. A refund will be on its way to your account soon.”

The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 25th Anniversary Tour was expected to kick off on Friday (August 9) in Tampa. It included stops in Los Angeles, New York and New Jersey as well as Atlanta, Philadelphia, Dallas, Houston and Milwaukee—18 U.S. dates in all. The international dates are still on the schedule.

Beastie Boys Demand Recall Of All Gold Records After Barry Manilow & “Paul’s Boutique” Debacle

Beastie Boys members Ad-Rock and Mike D are calling for a recall of all gold and platinum plaques for verification after a surprising discovery.

During an appearance on SiriusXM’s Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend, the pair recounted a problem with one of their own awards, a baffling mix-up involving their gold record for 1989’s Paul’s Boutique.

“We had a gold record on the wall,” Ad-Rock shared. “It was our record Paul’s Boutique, and I was looking at it. I could see it had our label and nine songs on one side. But when I looked at the gold record itself, it only had four songs.”

Intrigued by the inconsistency, Ad-Rock and Mike D decided to investigate further.

“Mike broke the glass, took the record out and we put it right on the record player,” Ad-Rock continued.

Instead of hearing the Beastie Boys’ celebrated tracks, the duo was greeted by piano renditions of Barry Manilow hits.

Mike D added, “I’d like to think that for artists like Barbra Streisand and Donna Summer, it was actually their record. But in our case, it seemed like it was somebody’s record that was spray-painted gold or something.”

Mike D’s remarks echoed frustration and disbelief while emphasizing the need for authenticity in music memorabilia.

“We need a recall of all gold and platinum plaques,” Mike D concluded. “It basically seemed like it was somebody’s record that was spray-painted gold.”

EXCLUSIVE: 50 Cent Wins: Young Buck To Pay Off Massive Debt, Ending Long-Running Dispute

Young Buck is set to resolve his financial obligations to 50 Cent as part of his bankruptcy proceedings.

The U.S. Trustee, Region 8, has requested the dismissal of 50 Cent’s $250,000 lawsuit over a dispute involving Young Buck’s recording contract with G-Unit Records now that the Nashville, Tennessee rapper’s assets have been sold off.

Young Buck filed for bankruptcy in May 2020 after a tumultuous 2019 involving jail time and financial struggles. The move was also allegedly made in part to get out of his contract with G-Unit Records after Buck’s relationship with 50 Cent broke down over a multitude of reasons.

Young Buck maintained that it was an advance against future albums, while 50 Cent claimed it was a loan to help his artist during his financial struggles.

50 Cent tried to block the bankruptcy proceedings until the debt was settled and Young Buck fulfilled his recording contract. Young Buck and his legal team argued that he was not obligated to repay any funds since the money was never classified as a loan.

According to documents obtained by AllHipHop, Buck has sold enough assets from his estate to cover all outstanding claims, including his debt to 50 Cent.

Young Buck sold off his jewelry, cars and most importantly – his valuable catalog. The bankruptcy trustee netted $1,023,669.67 from the liquidation of Young Buck’s assets.

In addition to 50 Cent, Young Buck will pay off his child support debt and a $190,000 obligation to the IRS, giving him a clean slate and the green light to start making money from his lucrative rap career.

Post Malone Admits Culture Vulture Accusations Drove Him To Drink

Post Malone admits he turned to alcohol to cope with the culture vulture and one-hit-wonder accusations he faced in the early days of his career.

During a recent interview with CBS Sunday Morning, the “Sunflower” hitmaker addressed early criticism leveled at him by Hip-hop fans. Asked how he felt being branded a culture vulture, Post Malone replied, “It sucked. I was a kid.”

According to Posty, he “drank a lot” to cope and would take it personally. “It’s hard not to,” he explained.

Last year, Post Malone went viral after fans shared concerns that he was out of it during a concert. His noticeably slimmer figure sparked speculation he was using hard drugs or developed an illness. However, he explained that “dad life kicked in,” and his baby daughter spurred him to make a few lifestyle improvements.

“I decided to kick soda, and start eating better so i can be around for a long time for this little angel,” he told his worried fans. “Next up is smokes and brews, but i like to consider myself a patient man.”

Post Malone Admits He Was On A Rough Path

While he made his start in Hip-Hop, Post Malone is gearing up to drop a country music album, F-1 Trillion, slated to drop on August 16.

In his new interview, Post Malone addressed the song “Yours” where he envisions his now two-year-old daughter’s wedding.

“I think about it a lot,” he explained before revealing he has “written a whole lot of songs” about his baby girl. “It changes your life in the best way ever,” he added, admitting he was “on a rough path” before settling down with his partner.

He explained that his life used to be a never-ending cycle of using alcohol to numb his pain. “I don’t feel like that anymore,” he said. “And it’s the most amazing thing.”

Isaac Hayes Family Demands $3M From Donald Trump For Using Song At Rallies

The family of late R&B icon Isaac Hayes are demanding Donald Trump stop using “Hold On, I’m Coming” at campaign rallies and threatening him with a lawsuit.

Hayes penned the 1966 Sam & Dave song and his estate alleged copyright infringement in a letter posted on social media Sunday (August 11). The family claims the song was used 134 times and seeks $3 million for its unauthorized use between 2022 and 2024.

The family claims the Trump campaign “willfully and brazenly engaged in copyright infringement,” using the song“despite being asked repeatedly not to engage in such illegal use.”

The Hayes family also asks that all videos from the Trump campaign featuring the song be taken down. Additionally, the letter requested an acknowledgment that the Hayes estate has not “authorized, endorsed or permitted” the use of the song.

The letter states that the $3m figure is “heavily discounted” considering the number of times the song was used. However, if the Hayes family has to proceed with litigation, they will demand damages of “$150,000 per use.”

Isaac Hayes III Slams Donald Trump

Hayes’s son, Isaac Hayes III, posted the letter on his Instagram account. He also warned Donald Trump in a tweet on Saturday (August 10). He claimed Trump used the song at a rally in Montana despite requests not to do so.

“Donald Trump represents the worst in integrity and class with his disrespect and sexual abuse of Women and racist rhetoric,” he wrote. We will now deal with this very swiftly.”

He also reposted the tweet on Instagram, writing, “A musical performers art is a reflection of their soul, not a tool for promoting hatred or bigotry.”

Soulja Boy Mercilessly Taunts Blueface & Chrisean Rock Over Jail Time

Soulja Boy had no sympathy after learning Blueface was slapped with a hefty four-year sentence for violating his probation.

The sentence came as a shock to his parents, who had recently promised Blueface would be home soon. His father tearfully announced the news in a brief yet highly emotional update.

“Y’all can probably tell the results by the way I look,” he said while wiping away tears. “Stay strong son.”

However, Soulja Boy remained unmoved and continued taunting Blueface. The pair feuded online before Blueface was locked up, and the “Crank That”  hitmaker has been on his case ever since.

He quote-tweeted Blueface’s father’s emotional post alongside multiple crying-with-laughter emojis.

It wasn’t just Blueface on the receiving end of Soulja Boy’s taunts. Last week, Soulja Boy had the same response to a viral mugshot of Chrisean Rock, the mother of Blueface’s young son.

Chrisean Rock is also facing multiple years behind bars and could be hit with eight years. She was recently charged with failure to have a tax stamp affixed on control dangerous substances (CDS) and possession of CDS with the intent to distribute. Each charge carries a potential four-year sentence.

Although Blueface received a four-year sentence, he could be home much sooner. His manager, Wack 100, expects he will be home within a year.

“He got four years, 400-something days off,” Wack said. “Comes down to three years, he go to state… he’ll be home in nine to 10 months.”

Buju Banton Sparks Uproar After Slamming Afrobeats & Reggaeton Artists For Not Paying Homage

Buju Banton made waves online after making some bold comments about Afrobeats and Reggaeton.

The iconic Jamaican dancehall and reggae singer went viral on Sunday over his comment on the latest episode of Drink Champs. During the interview, Buju Banton shared his take on Afrobeats, criticizing artists for not paying home to Jamaican music. He also claimed the genre lacks substance and said the music does nothing to uplift and inspire people through times of hardship and struggle.

“Tell me one Afrobeats song that can uplift us,” he asked N.O.R.E. “Kenya is suffering; young men of Kenya are revolting. South Africa, Sudan, South Sudan, you name it. But which of these Afrobeats songs can I relate to for a peace of mind, to tell me that I’m in the struggle, and we are gonna be better in the struggle. And even though it’s hard, we’re gonna overcome? Tell me.”

After critiquing Afrobeats, Buju Banton also went after Reggaeton, claiming its artists “stole” Jamaican culture.

“Listen, a lot of culture vultures out there,” Buju added. “We have sat and we have watched Reggaeton taking Reggae music. You have f##### with our music so hard and stolen our culture.”

While Buju insisted he wasn’t “knocking anybody,” he demanded his respect for reggae and dancehall culture.

“You don’t give us no respect m############, and you still expect us to kowtow and act like we take something from you?” he added. “This is the King’s music. Your music hall come and go, because it has nothing to do with soul; it has nothing to do with building energy.”

However, Buju Banton’s remarks were fiercely challenged online. Check out some of the reactions below.

Tyrese Responds To Critics After Channeling Marvin Gaye At Rams Vs Cowboys National Anthem Performance

Tyrese was getting roasted online over his unique national anthem performance after the singer donned a fake beard and a wig and channeled Marvin Gaye to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

The singer and actor performed at the Los Angeles Rams vs Dallas Cowboys game on Sunday (August 11). However, not everybody was a fan of the performance, and Tyrese was catching heat online from confused viewers.

While there were various comparisons, one user hit the nail on the head but claimed Tyrese missed the mark.

“Tyrese just tried to emulate Marvin Gaye’s rendition of ‘The Star Spangled Banner’,” they wrote. “it failed miserably. #LambsChop.”

However, Tyrese caught wind of the criticism and responded with a post on Instagram.

Tyrese also insisted, “I really really tried,” indicating he was inspired by Marvin Gay’s soulful remix of the national anthem at the 1983 NBA All-Star Game in Los Angeles.

“Teddy-Marvin-Donnie-Wonder-Gibson is my name,” he joked. “Smile…. it’s a viiiiiiibbbbeeeee!!!!!!!”

However, according to Tyrese, his performance caused an explosion in pre-orders for his upcoming album, Beautiful Pain

“My website crashed,” he noted. “I’m so sorry. I’ve never had this many people on my side at one time Tyrese.Tv less than 30 days of the release of #BeautifulPain Sorry.”

Latto Addresses Rumored Relationship With 21 Savage

Latto has been keeping secrets about her mystery man, rumored to be 21 Savage, for several years, but she says her music tells the real story.

Speculation around the rapper’s secret lover has swirled for years, with fans piecing together any little clue the singer might leave behind. However, in a new interview, Latto claimed netizens haven’t got a clue about her real boyfriend.

During a recent sit-down for Apple, Ebro Darden tried to tease some information from the “Sunday Service” hitmaker.

“Assuming the internet’s correct about who the person is,” he said before asking if she enjoys keeping her relationship under wraps.

“The internet don’t know a g###### thing, let’s start there,” Latto replied. “It ain’t really nobody’s business. Listen to the music and you’ll know what you need to know.”

Latto On Writing Love Songs And Feeling Like A “Sucker”

Latto rapped about her boo on her latest album with tracks like “Good 2 You,” and “Settle Down,” which fans believe includes a reference to 21 Savage. “Lay a ho down and lay up with a savage,” she says on the latter.

However, Latto says that writing such personal songs about her love life sometimes made her feel like a “sucker.”

“When other people in the studio,” she explained to Ebro, “I get to feeling like a simp and I’m so not a simp.”

Latto added that she finds it “weird” but has to “Let that ego go,” and put aside her pride.

“It wasn’t hard when I can be in that element fully, if I’m sitting in the studio and really just writing my thoughts out,” she added. “But when somebody right there, I feel like a sucker.”

Both Latto and 21 Savage have denied the rumors in the past. Last year, Latto explained why she kept the identity of her boyfriend a secret.

“If something is special to me, I’m going to keep it close to me because everything else has to be front and center about my life,” she told People

Earlier in the evening, H.E.R. delivered a stunning rendition of the “Star Spangled Banner” as Tom Cruise repelled down the Stade de France to take the Olympic flag from L.A. Mayor Karen Bass and Simone Biles.

He rode off on a motorcycle as a video played showing the rest of his adventures through Paris before jumping out of a plane in L.A. and decorating the Hollywood sign with the Olympic rings.

The performance then transitioned back to a live feed in Los Angeles, in which the band played “Can’t Stop” at Venice Beach.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Billie Eilish joined in the festivities before Snoop Dog performed “Drop It Like It’s Hot.” He then surprised the crowd with Dr. Dre to round off an impressive Olympic closing ceremony.

Snoop Dogg was one of the highlights of the Paris Olympics as NBC’s prime-time correspondent. Whether dancing with a horse, doing laps with Michael Phelps, or fine dining with bestie Martha Stewart, audiences were tuned in.

According to a recent rumor, Snoop Dogg raked in a whopping half a million dollars a day for his Olympics coverage. Check out some of his best bits below.

“Peace, love, unity, and safely having fun amongst ourselves; these are the practices we need for our next 50 years to be even more victorious than the last. We owe this to our future,” KRS-One added.

The public joined a unifying walk that started at 1520 Sedgwick Avenue, the birthplace of Hip-Hop, to celebrate Hip-Hop’s 51st birthday while prioritizing the health of The Bronx and New York at large.

Registration for the event started at 8:00 a.m., and the walk concluded at Crotona Park in the Bronx.

There, several keynote speeches were given on the state of Hip-Hop.

“We’re going to show you how to survive, strive and be alive. We created Hip-Hop so we didn’t have to glorify or celebrate all the negativity that is attacking and prevalent in our communities. We are the solution. The Walk This Way March. Why? Because we want to show you there is a way because we are the way,’ DMC said.

“Blade” Star Wesley Snipes Sets Two Guinness World Records

Wesley Snipes, who made a surprise cameo as Blade/Eric Brooks in the new film “Deadpool & Wolverine,” has earned two Guinness World Records.

The 62-year-old actor, who first portrayed the iconic half-vampire character in 1998’s “Blade,” set the record for “longest career as a live-action Marvel character,” with a span of 25 years and 340 days.

Wesley Snipes has also taken over Hugh Jackman’s previous record for his portrayal of Wolverine since 2000’s “X-Men.”

As the news broke, Snipes humorously responded via Instagram: “Whuuuut?! Really? Do I get a certificate too?”

He went on to express his gratitude, writing, “Lordy Lordy Lordy…Thank you @guinnessworldrecords, I’m your fan!”

Initially, Snipes had reservations about revisiting his Blade role.

“I didn’t think he would be able to pull it off,” he shared with Entertainment Weekly, referring to Ryan Reynolds’ proposal for a cameo in “Deadpool & Wolverine.”

In the movie, Blade joins forces with the titular characters, as well as Jennifer Garner’s Elektra, Gambit portrayed by Channing Tatum, and Dafne Keen’s X-23, to take down the antagonist Cassandra Nova, played by Emma Corrin.

Snipes’ second accolade from Guinness World Records recognizes the “longest gap between character appearances in a Marvel film,” marking 19 years and 231 days since he last donned the vampire hunter’s garb in 2004’s “Blade: Trinity.”

The actor’s return as Blade not only resonated with long-time fans but also cemented his legacy within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
