DJ and Producer Zillamatic Takes the Miami Music Scene by Storm

Miami is a hub for great music and is home to thousands of incredible talents, including renowned DJ and producer Zillamatic. Zillamatic, popularly known as Zilla, is a top name in the Miami music scene, with his work gaining massive recognition in and out of the state.

He has played alongside some top names in the global music scene, including G-Eazy, Tory Lanez, and Meduza. Zillamatic is also a trusted name in the hospitality and nightlife industries, with his unique style of music setting him apart.

Zilla has performed in top clubs in Dallas and Miami, such as Bottled Blonde, Citizen, Green Light Social, and many others. He says his goal as both a DJ and producer is to create inspiring and entertaining music that will positively impact his audience and elevate their nightlife experience.

“Music has always been part of my life and has helped me through some of the darkest moments. As it is one of the few things in the world that transcends all distances, I want to use music to help other people, spread positivity, and create a vibrant community,” says Zillamatic.

Zillamatic uses his platform to help and guide up-and-coming DJs while sharing his story with the rest of the world. He has started a consulting company, Adept Music, that assists DJs in staying connected in the music world and getting gigs easily.

“Following your dreams is probably one of the hardest things as countless obstacles can make the journey tiresome,” says Zillamatic. “Even so, you shouldn’t let that stop you from attaining your goals.”

To reach his dreams, Zillamatic has had to make a lot of sacrifices and overcome various obstacles. He notes that when he started his journey in the industry, many didn’t believe in his abilities and thought he couldn’t make a successful career out of his passion. But Zilla did not let their opinions dictate his future.

He took a huge risk and followed his passion, starting his journey in the music industry. Zillamatic began as a bedroom producer, making short mixes that he notes were heavily influenced by Skrillex and the dubstep movement of the time. Through hard work and dedication, his skills also improved, and within no time, he was playing in clubs around Dallas.

Zillamatic did this for a while before moving to Miami, where he has now identified his place. He is currently the director of music at Bottled Blonde Miami and is trusted by the largest names in the hospitality industry, such as Eatz Hospitality (Moxies USA) and Harwood International.

His unique style of music and diversity in his mixes have earned him a top spot in the Miami music scene. Zillamatic has shared the stage with Snakehips and James Hype, with his shows packed to capacity. His music is on both Spotify and Apple Music, with thousands of streams.

As he continues to grow, Zillamatic is changing how people view Miami nightlife. He says he is working on a new project that is set to release this summer.

Tory Lanez Allegedly Contacted Megan Thee Stallion’s Hairdresser With Payoff Offer After Shooting

Megan thee Stallion’s hairstylist and friend Jonathan Wright claims Tory Lanez definitely shot the Grammy Award-winner in 2020 after a party in the Hollywood Hills.

According to an interview he did with “Beyond The Chair” podcast, hairdresser to the stars Jonathan Wright said the chart-topping contacted him directly after the shooting to facilitate a pay-off.

The man said he was so angry with Tory Lanez that at one point, he wanted to put his hands on him.

He said, “The n##ga DM’ed me! I’m like ‘Yo, you went the wrong way,'” Jonathan Wright said.

Jonathan Wright said that when he first heard about the shooting incident, where Tory Lanez allegedly shot Megan thee Stallion in her feet, he “wanted to beat Tory ass.”

“And still to this day, if he run up its done up,” Wright promised.

When asked “why do people think it didn’t happen,” he assured the hosts, “Oh, it happened.”

“It happened. It ain’t no fake,” Wright said. “When you doing court s##t, stuff prolongs, and it takes time. It might die down; it might come back to life. But at the end of the day, that’s what happened.”

After the shooting, Tory Lanez allegedly sent Wright an emoji. Still, he was offended because he knew what had happened to Megan. Wright recalled saying to himself, “You just shot my friend.”

When asked how he felt about the backlash Megan received, Wright said he didn’t feel any type of way and explained, “I’m right here by her side.”

CREEPY: Pete Davidson Debuts Neck Tattoos Of Kanye And Kim’s Kids’ Initials

Pete Davidson has seemingly got a new tattoo that honors his girlfriend Kim Kardashian and her four children.

The “Saturday Night Live” comedian was photographed with the new ink on his neck as he left the “Netflix Is A Joke: The Festival” in Los Angeles over the weekend.

The tattoo, which appears to read KNSCP, could be seen on the right side of Pete’s neck. Fans suspect the acronym stands for Kim and her children: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres, Kim previously revealed Pete has “a few” tattoos that honor her, including the chest ink which reads, “My Girl Is A Lawyer,” about the SKIMS founder’s law studies, and Kim’s name branded into his skin in all capitals.

The new ink was not visible when they made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2022 White House correspondents’ dinner on Saturday.

Kim wore a glittering silver gown by Balenciaga, while Pete wore a black Prada suit paired with Vans sneakers.

Neither Pete nor Kim has confirmed fans’ reading of his new tattoo.

Pusha-T Addresses Alleged “Beef” With Eminem

Pusha-T has shut down rumors suggesting he has issues with Eminem.

King Push recently appeared on “The Morning Hustle,” where he was asked about the speculation that he has been feuding with the “Lose Yourself” rapper.

In response, Pusha-T insisted that the gossip was inaccurate.

“I saw just recently on Twitter people saying myself and Eminem,” Pusha-T commented. “I’m like, bro! It was a misinterpretation of something I don’t even remember. Something I said or whatever. But you know, people decode, and they have their own thing.”

Pusha-T, real name Terrence Thornton, provided no details about the purported rumors but clarified he has nothing against his fellow hip-hop star.

“Nah, man! Em is somebody that I respect,” the 44-year-old insisted.

Referencing Eminem’s 1998 appearance in the Lyricist Lounge showcase, Pusha continued, “He’s one of them people that I really like what he does because, after all of his success, I can still find Lyricist Lounge Eminem. That’s a goal for me, personally.”

Pusha-T released his latest album, It’s Almost Dry, last month. The album debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart.

Guapdad 4000 Changes His Name, Releases “Black Iverson” Video

West Coast rapper formerly known as Guapdad 4000 decided to shorten his stage name. The man born Akeem Hayes will now go simply by Guap.

The 29-year-old Oakland representative cemented his name change by dropping the studio version of his “Black Iverson” single. A live rendition of “Black Iverson” debuted via a COLORSxSTUDIOS and NBA 2K collaboration.

Guap has now released an official “Black Iverson” music video as well. Chris Simmons (Guapdad 4000’s “She Wanna,” Kamaiyah’s “F### It Up”) directed the visuals for the Allen Iverson-inspired, K.FISHA-produced song.

“The goal for this video was to portray Guap in an organic light,” states Chris Simmons. “It was inspiring for us to go back to our roots with the style in which we shot it. You’ll see what I mean with the particular angles I selected and the way in which I approached it.”

During his run as Guapdad 4000, the TWNSHP recording artist presented Dior Deposits in 2019 and 1176 with Illmind in 2021. Guap was also one of the standout performers on Dreamville’s chart-topping Revenge of the Dreamers III compilation.

“Black Iverson” follows Guap’s “I Need Bands” single which landed in January. His discography also contains “Prada Process” featuring 6lack and “Gucci Pajamas” featuring Chance The Rapper and Charlie Wilson.

Guap’s lone entry on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart came as a guest on Dreamville’s “Costa Rica” collaboration. That Platinum-certified song also featured Bas, JID, Reese LAFLARE, Jace, Mez, Smokepurpp, Buddy, and Ski Mask The Slump God.

Future Teases Deluxe Version Of ‘I Never Liked You’ Album

Is Future dropping an extended addition of I Never Liked You? It looks like fans of the 38-year-old rapper could get more songs added to the new project.

I Never Liked You arrived on April 29 with contributions by Kanye West, Gunna, Young Thug, Drake, Tems, EST Gee, and Kodak Black. Future took to Twitter this morning to tease even more features.

“INEVERLIKEDYOU to be continued at 10 am @lildurk @youngscooter @lilbaby4PF @MIABabyface @42_Dugg,” wrote Future on Monday. That post received over 4,000 retweets and 19,000 likes.

At the moment, I Never Liked You contains 16 tracks. Many of the songs from the album continue to dominate Spotify and Apple Music’s respective daily charts in America. For example, “Wait for U” featuring Drake and Tems sits at #1 on Apple Music’s Top 100: USA rankings.

Industry forecasters expect I Never Liked You to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 album chart. Future’s latest opus is presently on pace to amass 175,000-200,000 opening units which would break the 2022 record for first-week numbers.

If the Atlanta native adds tracks with Lil Durk, Young Scooter, Lil Baby, Babyface Ray, and 42 Dugg to I Never Liked You this week, the sales projections for the LP could go even higher. Future’s previous album, High Off Life, opened at #1 in 2020 with 153,000 album-equivalent units.

Lil Xan Set To Make A Comeback With “Born Dead Tour”

Nicholas Diego Leanos (aka Lil Xan) burst onto the music scene with songs such as 2017’s “Betrayed.” Since then, the California-based rapper experienced some tough times.

Last year, Lil Xan accused his former manager, Stat Quo, of purposely enabling his drug addiction while he was on tour in 2018. Xan later confronted online backlash for his statements about Stat Quo.

Then in 2022, reports began circulating claiming that Xan admitted himself to a psychiatric ward for evaluation. The Total Xanarchy album creator then reportedly received mental health treatment in a separate rehabilitation center.

Lil Xan is now ready to return to the road this Spring. The 17-date “Born Dead Tour” – presented by tattoo-inspired streetwear brand Born Dead Clothing – kicks off in Dallas on May 28.

“Missed my fans all across America, so much! Been doing everything necessary to be in the best mental and physical shape for this new tour. Can’t wait to see yall out there!!” says Lil Xan.

Prior to temporarily stepping away from the music industry for health reasons, Lil Xan earned a Platinum plaque from the RIAA for “Betrayed.” The Total Xanarchy studio LP reached the Billboard 200’s Top 10 region in 2018.

Concertgoers will get to see Dropout Kings, VVIZARD KING, Rosh Dawg, and Saving Vice as supporting acts on the “Born Dead Tour.” Lil Xan also ignited his comeback with the new single “Rebound” featuring Xanarchy collective members Kinfolk Jon and $teven Cannon.

First Week Sales Projections For Future’s ‘I Never Liked You’ Are In

Atlanta-bred rapper Future is almost certain to secure his eighth #1 project. I Never Liked You is on pace to land on top of next week’s Billboard 200 chart.

According to HitsDailyDouble, Future’s I Never Liked You will open with 175,000-200,000 first-week units. That range should be more than enough to make sure the 38-year-old rhymer leads the Billboard rankings.

A 200K start would be the biggest album debut for 2022. I Never Liked You reportedly brought in over 60 million first-day streams.

Previously, Future reached #1 on the Billboard 200 with 2015’s DS2, 2016’s Evol, 2017’s Future, 2018’s Hndrxx, 2019’s The Wizrd, and 2020’s High Off Life. Plus, What a Time to Be Alive with Drake reached the pinnacle in 2015.

Future has spent a total of seven weeks atop the Billboard 200. He also made it into the chart’s Top 10 region fourteen times throughout his career with sixteen total entries.

I Never Liked You arrived on Friday, April 29. The Epic-released studio LP includes features by Kanye West, Gunna, Young Thug, Drake, Tems, EST Gee, and Kodak Black.

After I Never Liked You hit DSPs last week, several songs off the project took over the Top 10 on Spotify’s Top 200 United States chart. On April 29, Future controlled eight of the Top 10 spots.

“Wait for U” featuring Drake and Tems currently sits at #1 on Apple Music’s Top 100: USA rankings. Future actually occupies the entire Top 10 of that daily chart at the moment.

Jnr Choi Drops “To The Moon” Drill Remix Ft. Fivio Foreign, G Herbo, M24 & Russ Millions

Jnr Choi has brought together players from three of the most influential cities in the drill scene for the remix of “To The Moon.”

The collaboration features Chicago’s G Herbo and Brooklyn N.Y.’s Fivio Foreign, while London drill rappers Russ Millions and M24 complete the transatlantic offering. Check out the visuals below.

West African-born England-based Jnr Choi scored his first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 with his breakthrough hit. “To The Moon” reached No. 54 on the chart, boosted by a remix with Gunna that arrived on March 25.

“I keep having to pinch myself because I can’t really fathom it,” Jnr Choi told Billboard last month. “It’s quite surreal to even be on the Billboard Hot 100. I’m like, ‘I’m in the race.’ ”

The song was temporarily removed from streaming services when first released due to sample clearance issues. The song samples U.K. singer Sam Tompkins’ cover of Bruno Mars’ “Talking To The Moon,” who was happy to clear it once JNR Choi and his camp reached out.

“I’m quite ignorant to a lot of s–t, I do what feels good,” Jnr Choi admitted. “When I got the beat, I was like, ‘This is hard.’ As it was [taking off], someone was like, ‘That’s a sick Bruno Mars song.’ I was like, ‘Oh snap, Bruno Mars?’ No offense, but I’m under a rock.”

Meanwhile, the London artist signed a record deal with Epic Records and Black Butter Records earlier this year and is currently working on new music. Jnr Choi fans can expect his second full-length project before the end of the year. “It’s time to really connect the world through music,” he explained. “A lot of Afro influence is gonna be seen in what I’m doing. It’s gonna be a lot of enjoyable music and a fresh sound.”

“I saw just recently on Twitter people saying myself and Eminem,” said Pusha T. “I’m like, bro! It was a misinterpretation of something I don’t even remember. Something I said or whatever. But you know, people decode, and they have their own thing.”

Pusha T continued saying, “Em is somebody that I respect,” before referencing Eminem’s 1998 appearance in the Lyricist Lounge showcase. “He’s one of them people that I really like what he does because, after all of his success, I can still find Lyricist Lounge Eminem. DaBaby Shares Video Of Alleged Assault Victim Using N-Word & Claims He Lied To Police

DaBaby is fighting back after receiving a felony assault charge for beating up a senior citizen during a music video shoot.

He shared a new video apparently showing Gary Prager, the man he and his crew allegedly put hands on, repeatedly dropping the N-word. The footage is supposedly taken at the mansion where the alleged beating happened in December 2020. The man in the video paces back and forth while screaming “f###### n######,” among other obscenities.

The North Carolina rapper added some context to the video, writing: “On today’s episode of ‘Let’s Make DaBaby Look Like a Bad Person’ we have Gary Prager.” He then called Prager a “PROUD white supremacist” and accused him of “lying to TMZ & LAPD. Not knowing that he’s caught on camera.”

DaBaby continued, “These are the type of people y’all validate & let assassinate DaBaby’s character.” He also accused Prager of spitting in his face, though the footage does not show this.

“Look what somebody just sent me👀 Y’all keep believing these Hollywood hustlers 🤷🏾‍♂️, DaBaby wrote in the caption. “Y’all might as well get a rope help em hang our black ass on a tree! ✊🏻 Ima leave y’all wit

that.”

DaBaby Claims Prager Lied To Cops

https://www.instagram.com/tv/Cc_njDzOX3_/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

The rapper picked up a felony assault charge after he allegedly punched Prager in the mouth, knocking out his tooth. Prager rented his property for DaBaby to film a video there but discovered he was violating the rental agreement. Members of his entourage allegedly stomped and kicked Prager before taking his phone to prevent him from calling the cops.

The incident with Prager is the rapper’s most recent brush with the law, following a string of other violent encounters. Last week footage emerged of the fatal 2018 Walmart shooting involving DaBaby. He claimed he acted in self-defense and said authorities had already viewed the video.

In addition, another clip surfaced of DaBaby punching his own artist Wisdom backstage at a concert in South Carolina.

Tory Lanez Temporarily Detained For “Large” Amount Of Weed At Las Vegas Airport

Tory Lanez found himself in trouble with the law while traveling out of Vegas over the weekend.

According to TMZ, the Toronto native was due to fly out of Las Vegas airport on Sunday morning (May 1) when he was stopped by authorities. He was attempting to board a flight when a “large” amount of cannabis was found in his bag. Law enforcement tell the outlet that TSA discovered the weed and detained him.

Fortunately for Tory Lanez, they only held him temporarily, and he was eventually released. Though weed is legal in Nevada, it is still not legal federally, so he was prevented from flying with it. While an investigation is reportedly ongoing, he may escape prosecution for a minor cannabis offense.

Even though Tory Lanez missed his flight out of Vegas on Saturday, his schedule shouldn’t be too affected. The “Say It” creator was booked to perform at Drais on Sunday night to entertain the crowd for NFL draft weekend.

Meanwhile, Tory Lanez was back in the headlines this week after Megan Thee Stallion gave an interview on CBS Mornings. She spoke to Gayle King about the alleged shooting incident and maintained that Tory fired a gun at her.

After the interview, Gayle King expressed an interest in getting the other side of the story. “I would love to talk to Tory Lanez if he ever wanted to speak as well,” the journalist told Entertainment Tonight. “We certainly have an open invitation to him. We reached out to his attorney and we got the traditional ‘we don’t have anything to say at this particular time’ [response].”
