Maui Police Chief Faces Explosive Allegations Tied To Diddy Scandal

Maui’s Police Chief John Pelletier faces explosive allegations linking him to Sean “Diddy” Combs in a scandal that has rocked the island and drawn intervention from the island’s mayor.

Pelletier is pushing back against serious accusations detailed in an amended federal lawsuit filed on March 7 in Northern California.

The bombshell complaint accuses Pelletier of conspiring with the Hip-Hop mogul to conceal an alleged gang rape incident dating back to 2018.

According to the lawsuit, Pelletier—then a captain with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department—allegedly posed as an officer from California’s Contra Costa Sheriff’s Department to help shield Combs from scrutiny.

The suit further claims Pelletier kept detailed records of Combs’ private locations used for illicit sex parties, labeling these properties as “safe houses.”

The allegations become even more troubling as the lawsuit asserts Pelletier refused medical assistance to a purported victim, instructing her to simply “go home” instead of receiving necessary care.

Additionally, the plaintiffs claim Pelletier forcibly took them at gunpoint to his residence, holding them captive and preventing access to legal counsel.

In response to the allegations, Maui Mayor Richard Bissen has called for Pelletier to be placed on administrative leave pending a thorough outside investigation.

Pelletier Responds To Allegations

But the chief isn’t backing down quietly. “Let me be clear,” Pelletier said in a statement to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser. “The allegations made against me are completely false, and I have not been formally served with any legal paperwork. Throughout my career, I have served with integrity and dedication, and I am deeply disappointed by this request, which I believe to be both premature and unjust.”

Pelletier, who took the helm of Maui’s police force in December 2021 following a 22-year tenure with Las Vegas Metro, added, “I firmly believe no one should face professional consequences based on unsubstantiated claims.”

Currently, Sean “Diddy” Combs remains detained at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, facing federal charges, including racketeering, sex trafficking and facilitating prostitution.

The lawsuit filed on behalf of Ashley Parham and Jane and John Doe also implicates NFL star Odell Beckham Jr. and comedian Drew “Druski as alleged co-conspirators involved in Combs’ scandalous activities.

Kendrick Lamar’s Viral Moves Ignite West Memphis Police Recruiting Frenzy

Kendrick Lamar turned a routine police recruitment drive into a TikTok phenomenon when the West Memphis Police Department officers borrowed his slick Super Bowl moves for a viral video.

The department posted the now-viral clip in early March 2025, featuring uniformed officers recreating Lamar’s choreography from his electrifying “Not Like Us” performance at the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show.

The video showcased the department’s eye-catching 2023 Dodge Challenger patrol car, quickly took social media by storm.

What initially began as a playful tactic to attract 25 new recruits swiftly became an internet sensation.

A West Memphis police officer explained to ABC 24 how the idea for the Kendrick Lamar-inspired video came about: “We was scrolling on TikTok because we was like we need to recruit at least 25 people. We need to make it happen fast.”

The officer added, “We didn’t think it was going to take off as much as it did. We just did it for laughing giggles and was hoping that we could catch people’s attention for recruitment purposes.”

The casual strategy paid off big-time, generating massive buzz across various social media channels.

By March 10, the TikTok video had racked up a staggering 11 million views. The department’s phones began ringing nonstop, and their Facebook page received over 1,000 messages from potential applicants asking how to join the force.

With the video’s success surpassing all expectations, West Memphis police officials have seen interest rise dramatically from young adults and women, two demographics targeted explicitly by the campaign.

Ultimately, though initially intended “for laughs and giggles,” the department’s approach turned into a powerful recruitment magnet.

Parliament-Funkadelic’s George Clinton Reveals Explosive Claims In $100M Copyright Battle

George Clinton held a press conference regarding his $100 million copyright lawsuit against longtime nemesis Armen Boladian and his affiliated companies outside Harlem’s iconic Apollo Theater on Tuesday (March 11), vowing to reclaim his musical legacy and protect his family’s financial future.

Flanked by renowned civil rights attorney Ben Crump, the Parliament-Funkadelic founder accused Boladian and his company, Bridgeport Music and others of fraudulently snatching copyrights to nearly 90 percent of his legendary music catalog, per Variety. The lawsuit, officially filed March 11 in Florida District Court, alleges these entities engaged in deceptive practices, copyright infringement, breach of fiduciary duty and outright fraud.

Clinton didn’t mince words, saying, “These songs we’re talking about is my history. I have to fight for them; I have to make sure that I did not do all of this my whole life and have my family here, not get what’s due to them, what they inherit. We don’t have a chance to pass down 40 acres and mules to our families. We do not have the copyrights for the songs. So I’m here along with Ben and partners to make sure that Armen does not get what we worked so hard for.”

The legendary funk pioneer accused Boladian of fabricating documents between 1982 and 1985 to grant himself additional rights over Clinton’s compositions unlawfully.

The suit also claims Boladian deliberately diluted Clinton’s rightful royalties by adding fake names and pseudonyms to copyright registrations, withholding millions of dollars owed to Clinton and orchestrating unauthorized deals with third-party labels without his approval.

George Clinton urged fellow artists to remain vigilant, declaring, “I will continue to speak truth to power and to fight against the forces that have separated so many songwriters from their music. I encourage all my fellow artists to investigate, interrogate, litigate, unseal, reveal. If we don’t get this right, then they win, and I refuse to let them win.”

He added, “This is about my family and the family of the other legacy artists and us being able to give generational wealth to our family from our intellectual property.”

This isn’t the first clash between Clinton and Boladian. In 2001, Boladian launched a flurry of lawsuits against artists who sampled Clinton’s iconic tracks, yet Clinton claims he was excluded from reaping any profits.

Clinton lost a copyright dispute the same year when a Florida court sided with Boladian, granting Bridgeport Music rights to Clinton’s songs from 1976–1983.

However, in 2021, Clinton scored a victory when Boladian lost a defamation lawsuit against him over allegations made in Clinton’s autobiography regarding deceptive business tactics.

Boladian’s legal team swiftly dismissed Clinton’s latest allegations, labeling the lawsuit as meritless and highlighting Clinton’s previous courtroom defeats on similar claims.

Wendy Williams’ Guardian Fires Back At Alleged Falsehoods About Living Conditions

Wendy Williams found herself at the center of controversy again after guardian Sabrina Morrissey’s attorney fired back against recent claims made by the talk show legend regarding her ongoing guardianship arrangements.

In a strongly worded statement shared with TMZ Tuesday (March 11), the attorney representing Morrissey labeled recent media coverage about Williams’ circumstances as “untrue, inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading.”

Morrissey’s legal counsel stressed that the guardianship was not Morrissey’s doing but rather a judicial decision established after Williams received a formal diagnosis of Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) in 2023 and was subsequently declared legally incapacitated in August 2024.

The attorney also sought to clarify the confusion surrounding Williams’ contact with her family, firmly declaring Wendy is not prohibited from seeing or communicating with relatives.

Williams, however, has previously stated she faces restrictions on who can visit her at the assisted living center. According to Morrissey’s representative, Williams has even traveled twice to Florida to reconnect with family members.

Williams’ description of conditions at her assisted living facility is at the heart of the dispute.

Morrissey’s attorney maintained steadfastly that Wendy enjoys “excellent medical care,” along with perks like spa treatments, fitness facilities, gourmet meals, and outdoor terraces.

Williams, in stark contrast, has openly disputed these claims, comparing the facility to a “prison.”

The guardianship, in place since 2022, has been a source of ongoing tension. Williams’ legal team tried unsuccessfully to dissolve the arrangement last year, but the judge denied the request.

Nevertheless, Wendy reportedly intends to challenge the guardianship once again.

Wendy Williams Reveals Cognitive Evaluation Results

Meanwhile, Williams reportedly excelled on a cognitive evaluation administered Monday by an independent psychiatrist, scoring impressively high marks.

The lawyer notably did not comment on reports that Williams sounded like her former self in recent conversations.

Addressing compensation, Morrissey’s attorney revealed the guardian has received only one payment of less than $30,000 and has worked without pay since 2022.

The attorney further cautioned that misinformation circulating in the media has harmful effects, potentially “undermining” the protective measures ordered by the court.

Ultimately, the attorney acknowledged that Wendy, her niece, her independent caregiver, and others hold a “markedly different perspective” on her current well-being and living situation.

50 Cent Reacts To Viral Video Of Vivica A. Fox Amid BBL Rumors

50 Cent is considering spinning the block, hinting at rekindling his romance with Vivica A. Fox after a viral video sparked renewed gossip about her rumored Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedure.

The viral video featured Fox attending a recent event and bore the caption: “Vivica Fox celebrates getting a successful BBL at 60 years old.” The G-Unit mogul reposted the clip to his social media, adding the teasing caption, “Wait let me see.

Speculation regarding Fox’s cosmetic enhancements first emerged last September after her guest appearance on “The Tamron Hall Show.” Observant viewers took to social media, claiming the actress appeared to have undergone cosmetic treatments, including BBL, fillers and Botox.

Fox addressed the chatter head-on, responding via Instagram. “I’M SMILING & HAPPY!” she wrote. “JEEZ! NO WORRIES! I’M GUUD DAWLING!”

50 Cent’s remarks come more than two decades after his brief but highly publicized romance with the actress in 2003.

Their relationship famously unraveled amid accusations from 50 Cent that Vivica A. Fox leveraged their romance for publicity, allegations which Fox claimed significantly damaged her image.

Through the years, Fox has openly and repeatedly described the rapper as “the love of my life,” candidly reflecting on their past. In a revealing 2021 interview, she admitted without hesitation, “The love that I had for him, and still to this day, will always — he was the love of my life.”

50 Cent, for his part, has echoed similar sentiments of nostalgia, explaining that external pressures ultimately drove them apart.

“I’m never bothered by when she says that,” he said in 2021. “At the time that we actually connected with each other, we were unconscious of everything else.”

Nonetheless, his views on Fox have changed over the years. Last March, the rapper shared a throwback clip of himself publicly flirting with Fox at the 2003 BET Awards, expressing regret for his past impulsiveness.

“I look back at some of the s### that I did,” he wrote on Instagram. “I gotta learn to shut the f### up. Look at that look at end that’s trouble.”

Ice Spice Shows Off Her Curves In New Song Teaser: “Thick Again”

Ice Spice teased new music Tuesday night with a provocative dance video flaunting her curves in front of Paris’ iconic Eiffel Tower after previously drawing attention for her slimmer physique.

On Tuesday night (March 11), the Bronx native took to Instagram with a video previewing her new song.

The playful snippet featured Ice Spice rapping, “She got thin, but she went and got thick again. Shorty got back on her oats,” a clear nod to her recent body transformation.

Ice Spice previously faced speculation surrounding her noticeable weight loss, with some fans questioning whether she’d resorted to Ozempic. She swiftly shut down these rumors, joking: “I wish y’all never learned the word Ozempic.”

Instead, she attributed her slimmer figure to healthier eating, regular exercise and the demanding nature of her touring schedule.

“You lazy ass b###### never heard of a gym?” she said during an X Spaces chat last year. “It’s called eating healthy. It’s called being on tour. Like, what the hell? Maybe if I was sitting home all day, it would be easier to stay big.”

Meanwhile, Ice Spice had been making waves at Paris Fashion Week, turning heads at high-profile runway shows, including Vivienne Westwood, Off-White and Ludovic de Saint Sernin.

Earlier Tuesday evening, Ice Spice gave her Instagram followers an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the glitz and glamor of her Parisian nights.

She shared a video on her Instagram Story of a behind the scenes moment with supermodel Kate Moss, actress Cameron Diaz and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.

The clip sees the A-Listers giggling about something at the show, highlighting her ascent into fashion’s inner circle.

Diddy’s Ex-Bodyguard Alleges Shady Dealings Behind The Notorious B.I.G.’s Catalog Sale

Gene Deal accused Sean “Diddy” Combs‘ associates of exploiting Voletta Wallace and orchestrating a lucrative sale of The Notorious B.I.G.’s iconic music catalog.

During an interview with “The Art Of Dialogue” Tuesday (March 11), Deal voiced concerns that Wallace, the legendary rapper’s mother, was manipulated by those closest to Diddy during her final days.

He specifically named Mark Pitts and Wayne Barrow, two longtime confidants of Combs who previously worked alongside Biggie at Bad Boy Records.

Deal stated that while Wallace was gravely ill and receiving hospice care, Pitts and Barrow were quietly “working out deals to allegedly sell big publishing, his marketing, all his rights to everything Notorious B.I.G.”

He didn’t mince words about their intentions, saying the pair “are working out a deal for them. ‘Cuz it ain’t for Miss Wallace. It ain’t for B.I.G.’s kids.”

Deal further remarked on their alleged opportunism, stating, “I read that the executives of that is Wayne Barrow and Mark Pitts. Those are the dudes that Puff put into play with them. I can’t believe this. These are the dudes that when big died they took over the marketing and the publishing and everything.”

“They were puff boys,” Deal added. “I guess it paid off ‘cuz now they looking to get $100 to 150 million on this whole thing.”

Currently, negotiations are reportedly close to finalizing the sale of Biggie’s catalog to Primary Wave. Pitts and Barrow are reportedly representing the estate.

Genel Deal Alleges Diddy Was Involved In The Notorious B.I.G.’s Death

Deal, who previously served as Combs’ security, has long alleged Diddy had knowledge or involvement in the infamous drive-by shooting that claimed Biggie’s life on March 9, 1997, in Los Angeles. In the Peacock documentary Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy, Deal speculated on Diddy’s possible role in Biggie’s death, stating, “So did he directly have something to do with it? He could have.”

Deal recounted his firsthand experience of the tragic night following a Vibe magazine party after the Soul Train Awards, recalling Biggie’s reluctance to attend

“The week [in] which Biggie was murdered, he was just acting real anxious and trying to get Big at this party,” Deal said. “And [what] was crazy was, Big was telling people he had to be in London. But Puff was telling people, ‘He ain’t going to London’ that whole week.”

Deal recalled warning Combs about attending the event amid escalating tensions between East Coast and West Coast Hip-Hop artists, saying, “I say, ‘Yo Puff, I got some intel bruh.’ He said, ‘What?’ I said, ‘Yo man, if we go to this party tonight, one of us gon’ get killed. Somebody gon’ die. Because now, we at East Coast-West Coast beef.'”

Dismissing Deal’s concerns, Combs allegedly responded, “Yo, Gene, I don’t wanna hear that s###,” before proceeding to the party.

Later that night, Deal was in a separate vehicle when he heard the fatal gunshots ring out, resulting in Biggie’s tragic death.

Eve Shares Raw Details Of Dangerous Spiral Before DUI

Eve contrasted her glamorous Hip-Hop lifestyle with a sobering wake-up call after a DUI arrest in Los Angeles that she now says changed her life for the better.

The 46-year-old “Tambourine” rapper and actress opened up on Paloma Faith’s candid Mad, Sad & Bad podcast, revealing how a 2007 DUI incident turned into a powerful turning point in her personal journey.

Nearly two decades ago, Eve made headlines when she crashed her luxury Maserati in Los Angeles and was subsequently charged with driving under the influence.

But according to the Grammy-winning artist, her personal rock-bottom moment eventually became a catalyst for positive change.

Reflecting candidly on the podcast, Eve explained how the legal repercussions she faced ultimately became a lifeline out of a troubling cycle.

As part of her punishment, she was required to wear an ankle monitor that tracked her body temperature and perspiration levels to detect alcohol consumption.

While many might consider such a device restrictive or embarrassing, Eve credits it with helping her regain clarity and reclaim her sanity.

“I had to wear a tag,” Eve recalled frankly. “It monitors your body temperature and it can tell from your sweat if you’ve had alcohol. The anklet made me sane again because I couldn’t remember a time I hadn’t drank.”

The rapper further revealed the complicated circumstances that led to the accident, admitting that alcohol wasn’t the only issue at play.

Eve said she was also taking prescription Xanax pills and diet medication in an effort to numb emotional pain and to stay thin for music videos.

This dangerous cocktail of substances contributed significantly to her impaired state behind the wheel.

“I got into the car accident because I was drinking. But I was also taking Xanax on top of the drinking,” Eve confessed openly. “I was trying to be numb. I was also trying to get skinny for videos. So when I got my DUI, I wasn’t that drunk, I was on diet pills.”

Since that difficult chapter, Eve has found stability and happiness in her personal life.

Married since 2014 to Maximillion Cooper, the entrepreneur behind the famed Gumball 3000 rally, she has put her past struggles far behind her.

“It was such a bad time and that’s why I said that little anklet definitely helped me,” Eve stated.

Le’Veon Bell Alleges His Cousin’s Incestuous Rape Civil Lawsuit Is Cash Grab Amid $25M Judgement

Le’Veon Bell has addressed the multi-million dollar verdict resulting from the rape civil lawsuit filed against him by a female family member.

According to reports from Times of India and TMZ, the former NFL player has is at the center of a bombshell scandal after his own cousin, Jada Bell, accused him of horrifying sexual abuse spanning nearly a decade! Jada’s lawsuit, filed in Franklin County, Ohio, in March 2024, claims the shocking abuse began when she was just six or seven years old.

According to court documents, Bell allegedly used slang like “fire” to instruct Jada during the disturbing assaults. The abuse reportedly continued until she turned 18.

Bell reportedly ignored the lawsuit entirely, failing to respond by October 2024. With no defense presented, a jury hit Bell with a staggering $25 million dollar default judgement verdict in Jada’s favor. Le’Veon Bell, who played the running back position for multiple NFL franchises such as the Pittsburgh Steelers, has fiercely denied all allegations. His lawyer, Thomas W. Shaffer, insists Bell was never properly served with the lawsuit and wasn’t even living in Ohio when the legal papers were delivered.

“My client adamantly denies any and all allegations that have been lodged against him,” Shaffer told TMZ. “Further, he was never served with a civil complaint or any documents.

Now, Bell’s team is scrambling to overturn the massive payout, claiming the case hasn’t been fairly fought in court.

“The default judgment granted was based upon violations of his Fifth Amendment rights of due process for failing to be served,” Shaffer said in the statement. “My client is in the process of filing a motion to open and reverse the default judgment because the narratives of the case have never been litigated.”

Bell has been vocal on social media, outright denying the validity of the allegations in a tweet he shared in response to a separate tweet announcing the multi-million dollar verdict in the case.

“They’ll do anything to try and get a dollar I tell ya…,” Bell wrote in the reply in the thread of the tweet.

News of the verdict in the lawsuit follow another scandal Bell was wrapped up in last year when a trans woman accused him of soliciting her for sex whilst tweeting hateful messages about the LGBTQ+ community. In another separate remark, Bell appeared to pin his political beliefs as a reason why he’s going through a tumultuous period with multiple individuals hurling allegations his way.

“Being a black man and a Trump supporter at the same time, so many ppl wanna attack me,” he wrote in another tweet. “Lol like why tho??? I just don’t get it .. it don’t matter tho, we STILL GOIN UP.”

Crucially, this is a civil case — not a criminal one — meaning Bell hasn’t been charged with any crimes related to Jada’s accusations. However, this scandal adds yet another dark chapter to Bell’s rocky post-NFL journey. After his high-profile contract dispute in 2018, Bell’s football career spiraled, bouncing between teams before he turned to boxing.

Rihanna Trolls Fan Over Shady Remarks About Baby Names

Rihanna has a little to no patience when it comes to fans coming for her and A$AP Rocky’s children’s names.

In celebration of International Women’s Day, the multi-platinum vocalist recently shared a post on Instagram commemorating her newfound status as a mother of two. The post featured intimate images of RiRi with her newborn, whom she shares with A$AP Rocky, which were taking shortly after she gave birth to her youngest child.

“By far the most powerful thing I’ve ever done as a woman…my little miracles! #InternationalWomensDay,” Rihanna wrote in the caption of the post.

“1- RZA 2- Riot Rose,” she wrote before adding, “And yes I gave birth in pearls and sunglasses…don’t ask, a lot was happening.”

Though the majority of the comment section was filled with affectionate messages from Rihanna’s celebrity peers such as Naomi Campbell, Katy Perry and more, a random IG user appeared to rain on the parade with their negative comment. More specifically, a user by the name of Tatianagalaxy commented on the post remarking how she “hates their names so bad.”

Rihanna quickly replied, writing, “Ok tatiana.”

This isn’t the first time this year that Rihanna has gone viral over checking someone who got on her nerves. She swiftly shut down a reporter’s question about A$AP Rocky’s former friend following his not guilty verdict in the 2021 gun assault case he fought against A$AP Relli, making it clear she wasn’t entertaining any drama.

As cameras rolled, the journalist attempted to question A$AP Rocky about his feelings towards former friend ASAP Relli (Terell Ephron), who testified against him. However, Rihanna swiftly put the reporter in their place.

Before Rocky could respond, Rihanna swiftly stepped in—spinning around, raising her hand and cutting off the reporter with a sharp retort: “How you think it feel?”

Kevin Gates Breaks Down How Consuming Pornography Celebrates Another Man’s Success

Kevin Gates has once again stressed the importance of young men preserving their “life force” while condemning the practice of self-pleasure.

During his recent appearance on Faze Clan member Plaqueboymax’s Twitch stream, Gates took a strong stance against masturbation and the consumption of pornography, providing both physiological and psychological factors to back up his rationale. In his initial remarks, Gates shot down the ideology that men are enjoying p### specifically because they desire women.

“And then I look at these dudes, they losing they hair, they skin look gray, because they’re releasing their precious life force, just masturbating,” Gates said. “You beating your dick to another man’s success. If you watch p###, you could say, ‘Yeah, I’m watching this p####,’ No, you’re watching that dick too!”

Gates continued, likening self pleasure to that of a shortcut which leads to no good ends for men in life.

“You’re not working on yourself,” he declared. “You’re cheating. After you do it, you feel bad. Because if you ain’t feel bad, why were you sneaking and doing it?”

The “2 Phones” rapper also took shots at OnlyFans users, proudly proclaiming he’d never spent a dime on the platform.

“If a woman was on OnlyFans, I wouldn’t even know,” he said unapologetically. “I’m not about to flirt with that spirit of tricking. If it only cost $1, b####, I’m not paying $0.05 to see you naked.”

Rather than turning to adult content, Gates revealed his personal method for managing sexual cravings: hitting the gym or channeling his energy into music.

“I get up and go to the gym. I get up and work out. I get up and go to the studio,” he explained. “Because it’s all energy. You translate that energy into something else.”

Again, this isn’t the first time Gates has gone on record sharing his beliefs about semen retention. In October 2021 he sparked jokes and bewildered reactions after tweeting about the benefits of the practice.

“Your Semen is your Life Force it is so powerful that it can create Life – the more Life Force you have the The stronger your Life Force is,” he wrote in the tweet. “Nothing is more Precious than Wisdom it is in this spirit that we write, Behold #TheBeloved.”

Wendy Williams Details Police Escort To Hospital Amid Guardianship Investigation

Wendy Williams has successfully passed two cognitive competency evaluations following a series of concerning events unfolding in regard to her guardianship.

The former talk show host’s situation escalated when she was seen exiting her New York assisted living facility with a police escort on March 10 before being taken to a hospital for medical assessment. During an interview with The Breakfast Club on March 11, Williams shared her first-hand experience undergoing the evaluation along with her perspective on the newly launched investigation into her guardianship.

“Well, the police showed up and I’m exhausted,” Williams began. “You know what I’m saying? I Wanted to go to the hospital to talk to the doctor, you know Gina [Ginalisa Monterroso] you can expound upon this yeah on that a bit, please.”

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by The Breakfast Club (@breakfastclubam)

Ginalisa Monterroso, president of the Connected Care Advisory Group, revealed that Williams underwent these tests after significant back-and-forth between her guardian, her attorney, and hospital officials.

“So I did two things,” Moterroso said. “I wrote a letter to the Adult Protective Services, explaining to them Wendy’s situation. She was isolated and we needed an investigation.”

Monterroso continued, “I told Wendy we will be calling the police and we will be speaking to police and we were telling them that you are isolated and the police came into the room.

Monterroso added, “I said, please I said you cannot walk out of that building without Wendy and she told me ‘I promise I will not’.”

According to Monterroso, she had to vouch on Williams behalf “with the police as if Wendy was my child,” in order to arrange the escort to the hospital from the assisted living building. There was also reportedly friction at the hospital between WIlliams’ guardian and her lawyer, who Monterroso claims were at odds over whether or not she should be allowed to take the independent medical evaluation.

Monterroso detailed that the evaluations were conducted by an independent doctor at a well-known hospital. Williams excelled in both assessments, scoring 10 out of 10 on each. The questions reportedly covered basic cognitive skills such as identifying the current president and recalling her birthdate. Monterroso emphasized that these test results are valid for court proceedings, contrary to some circulating reports. Williams remarked on the situation with a sense of zeal and lightheartedness, describing her time on her feet away from her scooter as “exercise” for her lower limbs.

“Look, let me tell you something,” Williams said. “So the cops the cops say to me…they say, ‘Wendy, you know, you have to leave the scooter,’ I said, ‘Okay, but just walk with me,’ Okay, and so they walked with me. So it was like exercise for my feet.”

This development comes as part of a larger struggle for Williams, who has been under the guardianship of Sabrina Morrissey since 2022. Morrissey has claimed that Williams is permanently disabled and incapacitated, a statement Williams has consistently challenged. Earlier this month, Williams made headlines after throwing a handwritten plea for help from the fifth-floor window of her memory care facility. The note read, “Help! Wendy!”

Despite her ongoing legal battle and recent health concerns, Williams is preparing for a highly anticipated return to daytime television. She is scheduled to make an appearance on ABC’s The View this Friday, marking her first major public platform since stepping away from The Wendy Williams Show four years ago.

Suzanne Bass, Williams’ former co-executive producer, fueled excitement about her return with an Instagram post hinting at her readiness for the spotlight. The caption read, “Prepping a very special friend for her appearance @theviewabc to air this Friday. #freewendy.”

EXCLUSIVE: De La Soul’s “Good Problems” Keep Popping Up

De La Soul suffered an incomparable loss in February 2023, when founding member Trugoy the Dove died at the age of 54.

As one-third of the group alongside Posdnuos and Maseo, Trugoy was instrumental in shaping De La Soul’s groundbreaking sound. His death came after years of battling health issues, including congestive heart failure and diabetes, but it was still a shock. As they say, however, the show must go on.

Roughly two weeks after Trugoy’s death, De La Soul’s first six albums—3 Feet High and Rising (1989), De La Soul Is Dead (1991), Buhloone Mindstate (1993), Stakes Is High (1996), Art Official Intelligence: Mosaic Thump (2000) and AOI: Bionix (2001)—were released on DSPs following a contentious, years-long battle with their former label, Tommy Boy Records.

What was meant to be an all-out celebration at Webster Hall in New York City turned into a somber (yet healing) memorial for one of Hip-Hop’s greats. Needless to say, the immense grief Mase and Pos are feeling doesn’t go away and affects them every day.

“It’s crazy,” Mase tells AllHipHop. “I used to be outside more. It’s been hard to come outside. I mean, I come out enough to deal with the responsibility of what we need to live up to, but then I like to go back home really quick.”

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by De La Soul (@wearedelasoul)

In the wake of Trugoy’s death, De La Soul has continued to honor his legacy while moving forward as a group. Last Friday (March 7), Pos and Mase re-issued the rare Clear Lake Audiotorium EP that De La Soul recorded in 1994 amid the Bulhoone Mindstate era. Considered the “Holy Grail” of De La Soul’s catalog, the project was initially limited to just 500 copies and initially boasted four tracks, including one featuring a verse from the late Phife Dawg.

But that’s only the beginning. A third installment of Art Official Intelligence has been in the works for years and although it’s getting closer to seeing the light of day, Maseo wants it to be properly presented.

“As fast as I would love for it to come out, I can’t really rush the creative process, because I want that s### to be fire,” he says. “I’m really excited about the music we’ve been creating. There’s a lot on our plate. We kind of got a lot of good problems here lately. We’re just trying to keep up with all these great opportunities. Right at the helm is creating music.”

And Posdnuos is raring to go. Mase adds, “I talked to Pos yesterday, because there’s been a few great things coming up and that people are in support of, but he’s like, ‘Mase, man, you handle that s### ’cause I just wanna rap right now.’ He’s like, ‘I just wanna rap.'”

But for hardcore De La Soul fans, their upcoming record with Prince Paul is likely among the most exciting updates. Prince Paul produced the first three De La albums, and helped define an era.

“I’m dead ass,” he says with a chuckle. “That was some New York s### right here [laughs]. We are working with Prince Paul again. It feels right.”

The blessings just keep coming. Pos and Maseo had a recent performance in Switzerland and in January, they performed at the Lincoln Center in New York City, where they headlined David Geffen Hall for the first time. Pos earned a Grammy Award nomination for his verse on Common and Pete Rock’s single “When the Sun Shines Again,” which appeared on the duo’s collaborative album The Auditorium Vol. 1.

De La Soul’s music was also featured in the Peloton Artist Series and on February 6, Pos and Maseo released a remastered collection of “Say No Go” remixes featuring the original version of the track alongside the “House of Love” remix, the dance-infused “New Keys Vocal” and an infectious “Say No Dope Mix,” among others.

It’s hard not to imagine Trugoy is somewhere orchestrating all of this. Like the song “Here In After” from De La Soul’s 2016 masterpiece, …And the Anonymous Nobody, goes, “I hear your voice/With me/With the way/Gone for now but here to stay/But here to stay/I will always place your memory.”

They could’ve never predicted that they would lose Trugoy so soon after the song was written, but Maseo and Posdnuos will carry a piece of Trugoy with them for the rest of their lives—and after. His absence is deeply felt, but his influence endures as a cornerstone of Hip-Hop culture.

DDG Snaps Over Posts Linking Halle Bailey To Jonah Hauer-King

DDG insisted he is unbothered by ex-partner Halle Bailey’s bond with her The Little Mermaid co-star Jonah Hauer-King.

The actors recently reunited at an Oscars bash and fans taunted him with old videos of them during filming.

DDG addressed his feelings towards the actor during a recent livestream that quickly spiraled into an emotional rant about custody frustrations.

The rapper scrolled through throwback clips posted by Bailey’s supporters eagerly pairing her with Hauer-King. DDG wasted no time expressing his displeasure and urged posters to quit.

“Y’all need to quit posting this n####,” DDG demanded. “I don’t give a f### about this n####. Please stop posting this lame.”

DDG repeatedly emphasized to his viewers, “I really don’t care,” though his evident frustration painted a different picture.

This latest outburst comes just a week after DDG openly accused Bailey of obstructing his relationship with their young son, Halo.

He vented his frustrations, alleging Bailey limits him to visits lasting no more than 72 hours and claimed he was being “bullied” for striving to remain present in Halo’s life.

Doubling down, DDG released a track titled “Don’t Take My Son,” alleging Halle Bailey is intentionally keeping him away from their child.

Bailey, meanwhile, has remained publicly silent regarding DDG’s allegations. The couple, who announced their split in October 2024, previously assured they would remain dedicated co-parents.

This isn’t the first time DDG has publicly grappled with insecurities over Jonah Hauer-King.

In his 2023 song “Famous,” DDG ranted about Bailey’s onscreen intimacy with her co-star.

Lyrics like “Filmin’ a movie now you kissing dudes,” and “Why is y’all holdin’ hands in the photo? You know I’m insecure, that’s a no-no,” revealed his anxieties about her acting roles and interactions off-camera.

Diddy’s Adult Star Accuser Dumped By Second Lawyer

A woman suing Sean “Diddy” Combs has been dropped by her legal team for a second time.

Attorneys representing the former adult film actress, Adria English, requested to withdraw from her civil lawsuit against the Hip-Hop mogul, citing irreparable communication breakdowns.

Lawyers from Andrews & Thornton AAL LLC, The Watts Firm and Kagen Caspersen & Bogart PLLC filed a motion on Monday (March 10), asking Judge Analisa Torres to release them from representing English.

Attorneys Kimberly Degonia and Joel M. Taylor specifically detailed a “breakdown in communications and the attorney-client relationship” as their primary reason for stepping away.

The filing also asked Judge Torres for a 60-day pause to grant English ample time to secure new legal counsel.

This marks the second major blow to English’s case, originally filed in July 2024, in which she accused Diddy and his business entities — Bad Boy Entertainment Holdings Inc., Sean John Clothing LLC, Combs Global Enterprises — of sex trafficking and exploitation between 2004 and 2009 in New York and Florida.

English’s previous attorneys, Ariel Mitchell-Kidd and Steven A. Metcalf II, had similarly severed ties last October.

At that time, Mitchell-Kidd expressed frustration, stating, “[English] has provided conflicting instructions that make it unreasonably difficult for Attorneys to effectively represent English.”

Furthermore, Mitchell-Kidd described English’s behavior as “destructive” and claimed her actions “severely impaired Attorneys’ ability to represent her.

Adria English has alleged she was coerced into providing adult entertainment at Diddy’s infamous “white parties” in Miami and the Hamptons.

She claimed she was forced to consume drugs and alcohol and engage in sexual activities with guests. English also accused Combs of manipulating her with promises of a music career and threatening retaliation if she resisted.

Drake Drops Clues About Next Chapter With Dark Instagram post

Drake teased a mysterious new project Monday on Instagram with references to medication and an obscure movie hinting at his next move while also possibly reigniting a simmering feud with Kendrick Lamar.

The Toronto Hip-Hop icon shared a cryptic carousel of images, including a brooding selfie and a still from the 2017 movie Phantom Thread.

Curiously, Drake also posted an image of two Zofran tablets—medication typically given to patients to ease nausea and vomiting symptoms.

The Phantom Thread screenshot, referencing a film about obsession, control, and complicated relationships, particularly sparked debate about Drake’s next musical endeavor.

His caption was equally mystifying, suggesting the upcoming project might unsettle listeners.

“U know I grew up non confrontational and always treated this game as a sport where my pen won gold,” Drake wrote. “But my these days the podium has been hard for all of us to ignore (sic).”

He continued, “I understand that this next chapter may leave you feeling uneasy, but I hope you see my honesty as clarity not charity that answers some questions especially about the unanswered texts you’ve been sending me.”

Drake did not elaborate on the identity of the mystery texter or provide additional context. However, this cryptic PSA could be connected to his feud with fellow rapper Kendrick Lamar.

Earlier this year, Drake filed a lawsuit against Universal Music Group (UMG), alleging defamation and harassment. He claimed company executives promoted Lamar’s diss track “Not Like Us,” which contains accusations of pedophilia—a charge Drake vehemently denies.

Representatives for Universal Music Group have categorically dismissed the claims laid out in Drake’s legal filings.

Footage of Kendrick Lamar working out surfaced online amid Drake’s musings. A fan captured a video of K. Dot doing pull-ups in a hoodie despite the California sunshine.

50 Cent Laughs Off Disturbing Hollywood Shooting Reports With Epic Response

50 Cent swiftly silenced online hysteria about an alleged shooting after a sensational TikTok clip claimed the rapper was hospitalized in critical condition following gunfire in Hollywood.

The Grammy-winning Hip-Hop mogul hopped onto Instagram to squash the dramatic misinformation, calmly reassuring his loyal followers with a dose of humor.

Posting a screenshot of the viral video, the “In Da Club” superstar wrote, “Don’t worry I’m gonna make it, because this is fake news.”

The dubious TikTok video had gone viral, crediting celebrity news website TMZ as its source.

A quick glance at TMZ’s official website and social media feeds, however, revealed no recent reports or coverage regarding any shooting incident involving Fif.

The misleading clip quickly prompted a frenzy of reactions, ranging from relieved sighs to amused chuckles across social media.

Actress Jaime King promptly chimed in on Jackson’s Instagram post to express her relief, writing, “Thank God, Curtis” accompanied by a heartfelt emoji.

Meanwhile, actor Frank Grillo took a more humorous approach, responding with a playful “Hahahahaahah” and boxing glove emojis, clearly entertained by 50 Cent’s witty dismissal of the bogus claim.

Some followers drew parallels between this latest false alarm and the rapper’s real-life close call more than two decades ago.

Back in May 2000, 50 Cent famously survived a brutal attack outside his grandmother’s residence in Queens, New York, where he was shot nine times at point-blank range.

After nearly two weeks confined to a hospital bed, the musician spent an additional five months painstakingly recuperating from the traumatic injuries.

50 Cent often reflects on this harrowing episode throughout his extensive musical catalog. His chilling near-death experience notably inspired hit records such as “Many Men” and “9 Shots,” cementing his legend as a survivor whose resilience became central to his artistic narrative.

Wendy Williams Rushed To Hospital After Desperate Plea For Help

Wendy Williams tossed a desperate handwritten plea from the fifth-floor window of an New York assisted living facility., before authorities rushed her away in an ambulance Monday morning (March 10).

The former daytime talk queen’s cry for assistance stunned passersby when a hastily scribbled note fluttered down, bearing the frantic words: “Help! Wendy!”

Officers responded swiftly after receiving a wellness check call around 11:15 a.m.

Moments later, Williams appeared visibly distressed as she was escorted by police and gently guided into a waiting ambulance.

Williams, a once-dominant figure in daytime television, has been residing in the facility’s memory care unit while confronting serious health challenges, including frontotemporal dementia and aphasia.

Her ongoing legal drama has been equally turbulent—since 2022, the star has publicly battled against the guardianship managed by Sabrina Morrissey, who previously described Williams as having “become cognitively impaired, permanently disabled, and incapacitated.”

Yet, Williams herself has repeatedly refuted Morrissey’s claims, recently voicing her frustration in an emotional phone interview with TMZ.

Williams told the outlet she felt trapped within her living arrangements, describing the environment as akin to a “prison” and alleging she was “not allowed” to leave on her own accord.

Despite her troubling circumstances, Williams is gearing up for a highly anticipated return to daytime TV this Friday. ABC’s The View will mark her first daytime appearance since she stepped away from her hugely popular The Wendy Williams Show four years ago.

Suzanne Bass, Williams’ former co-executive producer, teased the appearance in an Instagram post hinting at Williams’ readiness for the spotlight:

“Prepping a very special friend for her appearance @theviewabc to air this Friday. #freewendy.”

Williams’ struggle has sparked considerable attention, reigniting conversations surrounding guardianship laws and the rights of those deemed incapacitated.

Yungeen Ace Unwelcome In Jacksonville As Sheriff Cracks Down On Drill Music

Yungeen Ace is not welcome in Jacksonville after Sheriff T.K. Waters took a firm stance against the city’s growing drill music scene and the violence it allegedly influences.

Speaking to journalist Peter Santenello during a ride-along, Waters didn’t hesitate to call out the genre, popularized in Chicago and now making waves in Florida.

“It’s down here too, man” Waters said. “And the thing about it is, we like to run them out of town. There’s a couple of them, they know they can’t live here anymore. There was a particular song I don’t even want to mention because I don’t want to give these guys credit.”

Waters referenced Yungeen Ace’s track “Who I Smoke,” which samples Vanessa Carlton’s pop hit “A Thousand Miles.”

Waters didn’t mince words about its troubling significance, adding, “They sampled her song, and then they made a song, a rap. They were talking about people that have actually been killed in Jacksonville, about five or six of them, right? They’re named in that song. But that’s what drill rap is. It’s nonsense, but it’s impactful because they’re talking about people that have actually been killed.”

TK waters say he running rappers outta town cuz they know they can’t live in Jax no more 😂

Yungeen Ace Named In Alleged Foolio Murder Plot

During a July 2024 bond hearing, detectives from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and Tampa Police Department detailed Yungeen Ace’s alleged connections to the fatal shooting of fellow Jacksonville rapper Charles Jones, better known as Foolio.

Authorities presented evidence, including phone logs and surveillance footage, suggesting that suspects affiliated with a gang linked to Yungeen Ace carefully tracked Foolio during his birthday celebrations in Tampa before ambushing him.

Investigators described Foolio’s killing as meticulously planned, an escalation in a long-standing feud between rival groups, one notably tied to Yungeen Ace.

Sheriff Waters emphasized community safety as the central reason behind his department’s vigilant monitoring of rappers like Yungeen Ace.

“Yungeen Ace has long been known in Jacksonville,” Waters said. “We are consistently monitoring those groups. We have people that are always watching them. But he can’t move around in Jacksonville without us knowing about it. And that’s for the betterment of our community.”

Yungeen Ace has not faced formal charges related to Foolio’s murder.
