Tyga Spotted With Chloe Bailey Amid Son’s Baptism Planning & $500K NDA With Blac Chyna

Tyga and Chloe Bailey appear to be getting close while he’s actively co-parenting actively co-parenting a major event with Blac Chyna, his former partner and the mother of his child King.

Tyga began trending on social media earlier this week after images of him and Bailey surfaced online and immediately sparked dating rumors. The pair appeared to be all smiles as they left a West Hollywood hotspot together late Tuesday night. While it’s unclear whether or not they spent the holidays together, it’s obvious Tyga is focused on finding time to spend with Bailey considering he is somewhat busy with a family matter at the moment.

According to multiple reports, the Young Money rap star and his former partner Chyna are in the process of planning a baptism ceremony for their son, in which they expect to host high-profile guests. As a result, Tyga and Chyna are reportedly requiring attendees of the baptism to sign a $500,000 non-disclosure agreement.

Court documents state attendees are mandated to allow Tyga and Chyna to “inspect and confiscate cell phones, tablets, small watches, and any other devices” during the baptism and also asserts that “all pictures, recordings, records, documents or other information” relating to Tyga, Chyna, and King are prohibited from being shared publicly.

Kanye West Disappoints White Supremacist Pal Nick Fuentes With Antisemitism Apology

White supremacist Nick Fuentes, who aligned with Kanye West in 2022, bemoaned Ye’s apology to the Jewish community. Extremism watchdog Right Wing Watch shared a clip of Fuentes reacting to Kanye’s apology on the hate leader’s web show.

“Kind of a big, tough blackpill for all of us to swallow,” he said of Kanye. “Disappointing but not really a surprise.”

Fuentes added, “He apologized and it’s so over. It’s a total capitulation. I never thought I would see it.”

Last year, Kanye began associating with Fuentes. The two infamously dined together with former President Donald Trump at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club in November 2022. A Federal Election Commission filing revealed Kanye’s presidential campaign paid Fuentes more than $14,000 in 2022.

Kanye found a friend in Fuentes at a time when the controversial rapper/producer became a pariah for making antisemitic remarks. Several companies, including Adidas, cut ties with Ye due to his antisemitism. Kanye’s comments were linked to 59 antisemitic incidents in 2022, according to the Anti-Defamation League.

A year later, Kanye apologized for his offensive statements. He wrote his apology in Hebrew and posted it on social media.

“I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for my unplanned outburst caused by my words or actions, it was not my intention to hurt or disrespect, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused,” he wrote. “I am committed to starting with myself and learning from this experience to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future. Your forgiveness is important to me, and I am committed to making amends and promoting unity.”

Kanye issued the apology as he prepared to release a new album with Ty Dolla $ign. Their Vultures album was scheduled to drop in December but went through several delays. The two plan to release the project on January 12.

Kevin Hart Jumps On Tasha K Lawsuit Bandwagon; Accuses Her Of Extortion

Kevin Hart added his name to the list of celebrities who’ve sued controversial vlogger Tasha K. According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Hart filed a lawsuit against Tasha K accusing her of defamation and extortion.

The lawsuit claimed an unknown person allegedly affiliated with Tasha K’s blog said they would “publish a damaging story on social media” unless Hart paid them $250,000. The story turned out to be an interview with Hart’s former personal assistant.

Hart’s team contacted the police to report the incident. They also sent Tasha K a cease and desist letter in November.

“You have already engaged in criminal conduct and tortious acts that would entitle Mr. Hart to monetary damages against you should he elect to commence civil litigation regarding this matter,” the letter read. “To the extent that you do not cease and desist now, your liability for such monetary damages will increase, as will your exposure to criminal penalties.”

Tasha K published a story called “Kevin Hart’s Personal Assistant Tells All!” despite his warnings. She promoted it via social media on Wednesday (December 27). The former assistant said the comedian paid a man millions of dollars to take DUI charges for him, among other sordid allegations.

Hart’s lawsuit was filed a month after R. Kelly sued Tasha K. The disgraced singer accused the Federal Bureau of Prisons official of leaking his private information to her.

Jada Pinkett Smith also threatened to sue Tasha K for publishing a salacious interview with a man claiming to have seen Will Smith engaged in sex with actor Duane Martin. Pinkett Smith called the allegations “ridiculous.”

Tasha K was most famously sued by Cardi B for defamation. A jury awarded roughly $4 million to Cardi B when the civil case went to trial. Tasha K filed for bankruptcy after losing the lawsuit, but a judge would not let the vlogger escape the money owed to Cardi B.

Eazy The Block Captain Warns: Papoose “Has To See Me” In New Audio Detailing Alleged Remy Ma Affair

A bombshell recording of Eazy the Black Captain confessing to an alleged affair with Remy Ma has surfaced online following months of speculation that the rapper was cheating on Papoose, her husband of 15 years.

The Hip-Hop super couple went viral earlier this year after Geechi Gotti accused Remy Ma of having an affair live on stage during a battle against Eazy on Remy’s Chrome 23 league. He claimed that Papoose knocked Eazy out after discovering the Philly battle rapper was messing with his wife.

While the “All Way Up” hitmaker and Eazy both denied the gossip, Gotti claimed a recording was floating around of Eazy admitting Pap put hands on him. John John Da Don leaked small snippets of the recording on the morning of his battle with Eazy earlier this month, but now the entire audio has been released.

Eazy The Block Captain Claims Remy Ma Has Been Staying With Him Since Altercation With Papoose

The explosive 19-minute-long recording features Eazy making a number of startling revelations. He confirms the affair and fight allegations and claims Remy has been staying with him since the altercation with Papoose.

Eazy says that while Remy wants him to keep silent, he’s been “putting the pressure” on Papoose to address the speculation. Nonetheless, Eazy recalls, “She also said, ‘this n#### made the first move. He put you in a f#####-up position, so I can’t tell you what to do. I’m just asking you if you could do that for me.’”

Although Eazy admits Remy is “stressing” over rumors of their alleged affair, he boasts about picking up 5,000 new Instagram followers over the scandal.

However, according to Eazy, Remy doesn’t want to go public “unless her hand is forced.” Ultimately, Eazy said that he’ll do anything Remy wants but Papoose has to run him a fade.

“Tell this n#### he has to see me though,” he warned. “I don’t even give a f### if I lose, but we have to fight though.”

In another portion of the tape, Eazy says Papoose was waiting to corner him that night but denied getting slumped. “That n#### couldn’t even knock me out. N#### don’t even hit that hard, too. No, blood … no scratch, no nothing,” the battle rapper explained. “He had two clean jawns. That was the time to knock me out. It should have been done.”

The recording was shared online following a rift between Eazy and battle rapper and media personality D.I Da Hennyman. Although Eazy claimed the previously leaked snippets were altered, D.I. says he only masked the identity of the other speaker.

HoneyKomb Brazy Out On Bond Following Arrest On Federal Gun Charge

HoneyKomb Brazy posted bond in a federal gun case, according to Mobile’s WKRG. The Alabama-bred artist was released from custody after getting charged with being a felon in possession of a gun.

Mobile County sheriff’s deputies arrested HoneyKomb Brazy on December 18. Brazy was one of the passengers in a vehicle stopped for driving in the left lane without passing and tinted windows. The driver, a 31-year-old man named Mason Fuller, was allegedly wearing soft armor and had a bulletproof vest in the car. Authorities found two firearms during the traffic stop.

Brazy, whose real name is Nashon Jones, cannot possess a weapon stemming from his conviction for assault and robbery. Fuller and the other passenger, a 39-year-old man named Miguel Hall, were also prohibited from possessing a firearm.

An associate of Brazy used his Instagram account to speak out about his latest arrest on Wednesday (December 27). The person claimed the other men in the vehicle were supposed to Brazy’s security. The 28-year-old rapper allegedly did not know they were felons.

“Boy this Brazy how tf they doing my brother,” the message read. “@Ihustlenoluck brought these fakes ass security n##### around him from Texas and we thinking these mfs legit. How tf these n##### felons too, got us thinking y’all hired real security. Then n##### pleading not guilty and s### like they tryna set him up, but the guns in one of them n##### name and in the other n#### BM name.”

Brazy was hit with a federal gun charge a month after he was arrested for indecent exposure. He was accused of exposing himself to a corrections officer while he was in jail in 2021. The charge was dismissed on December 13, just a few days before his latest arrest. The alleged victim did not want the case to move forward.

B.G. Responds To Snitching Rumors Spread By Wack 100 & Others

B.G. publicly addressed snitching allegations against him in an interview with Pop Austin Media’s TTE Notti. The former Cash Money Records artist said the claims initially bothered him before he received reassurance that helped him brush off the rumors.

“At first, I was feeling some type of way,” B.G. told Notti. “But the n#### whose opinion matter reached out to me. ‘Cause I been paying attention to this internet, right? And this internet a fool, ya heard me? This s### a beast, ya heard me? You know the internet undefeated and truth don’t need no co-signer, you heard me?”

He continued, “Once I talked to my real jail n##### who reached out to me and they heard about it and then the n##### on the streets that I know standing on law and standing on business, they like, ‘Man, listen. Man, don’t even pay that s### no mind. N##### just trying to use your light to shine to bring them out they darkness.’”

Wack 100 was the most notable figure pushing the snitching allegations against B.G. The allegations were connected to a man named Kentrell Washington, who faced a gun charge stemming from an incident in 2009.

B.G. and Washington were riding in the same vehicle when New Orleans police conducted a traffic stop in 2009. Cops discovered a 9mm Beretta semiautomatic pistol while searching the vehicle. Washington allegedly said, “That gun and weed is mine.”

Wack 100 and others looking into the gun case accused B.G. of testifying against Washington. Wack 100 claimed the paperwork proved B.G. was a rat. The comments angered Boosie Badazz, who called Wack 100 a “clown” and dismissed the notion of B.G. snitching.

B.G. was released from prison in September 2023. He was sentenced to 14 years in prison for gun possession and witness tampering.

EXCLUSIVE: Diddy Requests More Time To Reply To Jane Doe Gang Rape Lawsuit

Diddy is asking a judge to give him more time to reply to a Jane Doe’s shocking gang rape lawsuit due to circumstances that he says are beyond his control.

Diddy and former Bad Boy Entertainment president Harve Pierre are currently involved in a legal battle against an accuser, identified only as Jane Doe, who has filed a lawsuit alleging gang rape and trafficking.

The incident is said to have occurred in 2003 at Diddy’s recording studio Daddy’s House. The lawsuit details a harrowing series of events, beginning with the accuser meeting Pierre in a lounge in Michigan, where she was allegedly forced to engage in oral sex while Pierre smoked crack. She claims that after speaking to Diddy on the phone, she was flown to New York on a private jet and subsequently sexually assaulted at the studio.

Doe, who was 17 at the time of the alleged incident, has sought to remain anonymous in the lawsuit, citing Diddy’s high profile and her own safety concerns. However, Diddy and Pierre are challenging her attempt to remain anonymous.

Last week, a judge ordered Diddy and Pierre to file their replies by December 27, but that will no longer work for Diddy, according to his lawyer.

“Due to circumstances beyond the control of the Combs Defendants, which circumstances are of a confidential nature, we respectfully request that the Court modify the Motion Schedule to extend Defendants’ time to file their opposition to the Motion from December 27, 2023 to January 17, 2024, and extend Plaintiff’s time to file a reply, if any, from January 8, 2024 to January 31, 2024,” Diddy’s lawyer Jonathan Davis wrote to the court.

In past court documents obtained exclusively by AllHipHop.com, Diddy and Harve have already indicated that they don’t consent to Jane Doe’s motion to proceed anonymously.

Doe’s lawyer, Douglas H. Wigdor, has emphasized the importance of her anonymity, highlighting the potential chilling effect on future plaintiffs and the significant trauma she has already experienced due to the alleged assault. The disagreement has set the stage for the first major battle in the high-stakes lawsuit.

Doe’s lawsuit is part of a series of legal challenges Diddy is facing. Other sexual assault allegations have also been brought against him by different accusers, including his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura and two other women.

Diddy has publicly denied the allegations and claims he didn’t commit the acts alleged against him. He

s vowed to fight for his name, family and the “truth.”

Bobby Shmurda’s Christmas Escapades In Dubai Go Viral

Bobby Shmurda spent the Christmas holiday in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The American rapper shared a few moments from his adventures in the Middle Eastern country.

Those UAE-set posts by Bobby Shmurda went viral this week. In one video, a bare-chested Shmurda is surrounded by several female companions caressing him on camera.

Another video showed the 29-year-old New York native rapping and dancing to Birdman and Lil Wayne’s “Stuntin’ Like My Daddy” single. Shmurda’s Dubai trip generated a lot of online responses.

Some social media users celebrated Bobby Shmurda for “living his best life” in Dubai. In contrast, other commenters questioned why the GS9 representative surrounded himself with what appeared to be Caucasian women.

Shmurda broke out as a recording artist in 2014 when “Hot N####” became a Top 10 song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Later that year, the Epic Records-backed Shmurda She Wrote EP arrived on DSPs.

Conspiracy and weapon possession convictions in 2016 derailed Bobby Shmurda’s career. After serving time in a New York state prison, the Brooklynite exited the penitentiary on February 23, 2021. His Bodboy EP dropped the following year.

Metro Boomin Teases Super-Producer Joint Project With Zaytoven

Metro Boomin and Zaytoven are two of the most accomplished Hip-Hop producers of the last 20 years. Could the production wizards officially team up for a joint effort?

On Tuesday (December 26), Metro Boomin seemingly opened a door to the possibility of an official musical union with Zaytoven. A Twitter (X) post got a lot of his followers excited.

“Me and @zaytovenbeatz probably got 100 [fire emojis] beats by now. I got on here to ask you guys what artist should we do a tape with first but now I’m thinking maybe it should be a compilation tape of various artists over these masterpieces!” Metro tweeted.

Two minutes later, he also added, “The sound of these beats me and @zaytovenbeatz make together are so unique like nothing my ears have ever heard before. I think we need a name as a production duo… any ideas?”

Fans then began offering monikers for a possible Metro Boomin/Zaytoven super-producer partnership. One X user suggested ZayBoomin. Several other people came up with Zaytro.

Metro has spent several months promoting an upcoming album with longtime collaborator Future. The Boominati Worldwide founder also tapped Pluto for recent songs such as “Superhero (Heroes & Villains)” and “All the Way Live.”

Future worked extensively with Zaytoven too. For example, the Atlanta-bred rapper and the Atlanta-based producer created the classic 2015 mixtape Beast Mode as well as 2018’s Beast Mode 2.

Cardi B Likes Post Denying She Took Offset Back After Break-Up

Cardi B and Offset are apparently still separated, despite online rumors claiming the celebrity couple reconciled. The Invasion of Privacy rapstress addressed the gossip by liking a post on Twitter (X).

A Twitter account claimed Cardi B took Offset back 12 days after the split. The December 27 tweet also claimed the frequent musical collaborators attended Travis Scott’s Circus Maximus Tour stop in Newark together.

Pop culture blogger KenBarbie responded to Thee Pop Feed‘s post by sharing a clip from The Real Housewives of Atlanta. That 2-second video features Kandi Burruss saying, “You just made that up.”

Cardi B then liked KenBarbie’s response tweet, seemingly denying she and her estranged husband officially reunited. Offset did post Instagram Stories from the concert featuring his three sons – Jordan, Kody and Wave. However, Cardi did not show up in those IG posts.

The speculation surrounding a possible reconciliation between Cardi B and Offset gained steam this week after they celebrated the holidays together with their family. Both rap stars shared at-home videos of their two children, Kulture and Wave, opening presents on Christmas.

Cardi confirmed her breakup with Offset earlier this month. The messy separation included Offset calling out some of his wife’s fans for mentioning the late Takeoff as well as Cardi going on an extremely emotional rant about Set.

The Cardi B and Offset romance began when the chart-topping entertainers started dating in 2017. They got married at a private wedding later that year. In addition to marriage, the Hip-Hop recording artists joined forces for songs such as “Lick,” “Motorsport,” “Clout,” and “Jealousy.”

Joe Budden Suggests Logic Lied About Being Suicidal

Logic scored the biggest hit of his career with “1-800-273-8255” featuring Alessia Cara and Khalid. That Grammy-nominated 2017 single was titled after the former phone number for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

Mental health awareness essentially became part of Logic’s artistic brand. Joe Budden also used his music to address his battles with depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts.

Despite having some similar content, Logic and Joe Budden became adversaries rather than allies. The Maryland native even insisted Budden’s negative commentary caused him to enter dark spaces.

Budden had more to say about Logic during an appearance on The Pivot Podcast. Host Ryan Clark asked the rapper-turned-podcaster about artists saying his words can push them to think about suicide.

“Logic is full of s###. I don’t believe him,” Budden answered. He also added, “You can’t know and you can’t prove it. But Logic is full of s###… Logic put out a song with mental health as the phone number – 1-800-whatever-the-f###-that-s###-was. Pandering b#######.”

In 2020, Joe Budden apologized to Logic for projecting his self-hatred onto the No Pressure album creator before retracting his apology. Then Budden blasted Logic again earlier this year for covering Ice Cube’s classic “It Was a Good Day.”

“Everything about Logic is pandery. So there’s really no way to ever tell what’s truthful and what’s not truthful,” Budden stated on The Pivot Podcast. “And since he said [he experienced suicidal thoughts] I try to take him off my list of people to speak about because I do have a heart. But I do think he’s full of s###.”

“The Color Purple” Scores Huge Box Office Debut With $18M Opening

The Color Purple shocked some movie industry forecasters by bringing in $18 million on its first day at the domestic box office. That amount represents the second highest-grossing Christmas Day opening of all time behind 2009’s Sherlock Holmes ($24.6 million).

Fantasia Barrino plays the lead role in the 2023 version of The Color Purple. This year’s musical is a remake of the 1985 motion picture. Both movies are adaptations of Alice Walker’s 1982 novel.

In addition to generating impressive totals at the box office, The Color Purple also garnered praise from critics and theatergoers. The Blitz Bazawule-directed film received an 88% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and an “A” score on CinemaScore.

“Woke up to all the positive reactions to #TheColorPurple. What a blessing!!! Grateful to all who helped me make this film. Let’s continue to pack the theaters y’all,” Blitz Bazawule tweeted on Tuesday (December 26).

The cast of The Color Purple also includes Taraji P. Henson, Danielle Brooks, Colman Domingo, Corey Hawkins, H.E.R., Halle Bailey and Louis Gossett Jr.

Fantasia Barrino has already earned a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actress – Motion Picture Comedy or Musical. Additionally, Danielle Brooks made it into the Best Supporting Actress – Motion Picture category.

“Yes!!! We did that!!! Grateful to everyone that packed the theaters. Let’s keep it going! #TheColorPurple,” Blitz Bazawule tweeted in response to his movie’s historic first-day revenue.

Halle Bailey & DDG’s Christmas Videos Spark Rumors Singer Gave Birth

Halle Bailey and DDG’s Christmas videos are going viral, with fans speculating that the singer gave birth to her rumored child.

The couple enjoyed a loved up Yuletide together and took to social media to share a few memories with their followers. However, internet sleuths honed in on a few details in a couple of the videos, noting that Bailey happily showed off her entire body after months of hiding her stomach with large gowns and oversized bags.

In one video, Halle Bailey and DDG donned matching Christmas pajamas to bake cookies. At one point in the clip, Bailey rises from her chair to fetch a spatula, bracing herself slowly as she gets up.

The video was enough to convince some fans that her labored movements and slow walk meant Bailey had given birth.

Other videos show the pair exchanging lavish presents among family and friends around the tree. Bailey gifted her man a pair of diamond earrings but became overwhelmed after unwrapping his gifts, which included a Tiffany bracelet and Birkin bag.

Halle Bailey has refused to address the rumors she gave birth, instead expressing gratitude over her role in The Color Purple. She took to Instagram with a carousel of behind-the-scenes images from the movie.

“I had such a beautiful time on the making of this film and left this set feeling so inspired by the experience, she wrote in the caption. “Let alone getting to write an original song for this film. I’ve learned so much and my heart is filled with such gratitude.. i hope you all enjoy the movie and have a beautiful holiday with the ones you love most !!”

Latto Responds To Backlash Over Upcoming Collab With Rising ATL Artist

Latto is standing on her decision to shine a light on newer artists, despite objections from some of her fans.

The “Lottery” hitmaker has worked with some major players in 2023, teaming up with Cardi B on the “Put In On Da Floor” remix and making Spotify history with her collab with K-pop star Jung Kook, “Seven.”

However, she’s also used her platform to give a look to some artists rising up the ranks, including her latest offerings, “The Grinch Freestyle,” featuring Luh Tyler, and an upcoming track with Anycia. However, the songs drew criticism from some Latto fans who think she’s wasting her talents.

“@latto girl we love you but you need to stop doing collabs with these unknown artists,” one X user shared Tuesday (December 26). “Enough is enough, as fans we want to see you win and this will get you nowhere and a latto feature is losing its value. no more babydrills, luh tylers and whoever this is next era please.”

Nonetheless, Latto defended her choices, replying with, “Y’all be getting besides y’all self.” She also doubled down on her decision to work with the up-and-coming Atlanta rapper. “Shawty from the south side & she hard af Idc bout allat,” she added. I was an “unknown artist” before and mfs acted too big for me. Stream when we drop.”

Meanwhile, Latto recently celebrated her birthday with a customary themed party. This year, she elected a Pimps & Hoes bash hosted by none other than Flavor Flav.

Lil Wayne Declares Himself The LeBron James Of Rap: “A Phenom”

Lil Wayne has likened his dominance in the rap game to the longevity of one of the greatest basketball players of all time, LeBron James.

During a recent interview, the Young Money record label founder drew parallels between himself and the four-time MVP. Weezy told Bleacher Report’s Taylor Rooks that although “I do me the best,” there is an NBA player he would compare himself to.

“I would say that I’m like a LeBron,” Lil Wayne said. “A phenom. I dropped my first solo album when I was 14, and that’s the same album I’m talking about that went platinum. And I’ve been doing this at this pace or higher ever since, just like him.”

Elsewhere during the interview, Rooks asked Lil Wayne to name a potential successor to the soon-to-be 39-year-old LeBron James. According to Wayne, Grizzlies star Ja Morant is the logical successor because of his ability to draw in fans with his entertaining style of play.

“To me, the obvious answer is Ja [Morant], because the NBA is entertainment,” he explained. “What I mean by that, there was always a Michael Jordan, and that was just like, God. Ja’s teams are competitive when he’s there, when he’s doing his thing.”

Meanwhile, Lil Wayne recently revealed he has an unreleased collaboration with NBA champion Kevin Durant.

The Game Rumored To Be Dating Daughter Of Notorious “Basketball Wives” Star

The Game has been allegedly kicking it with a new woman who happens to be the daughter of a prominent reality star. Images began circulating of the West Coast rapper entertaining a female friend during a date at Nobu in Malibu over the weekend. Rumors are swirling that the woman in question, fully clad in matching black outfits with The Game, is none other than Shaniece Hairston, daughter of former Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozado.

While both The Game (44) and Lozado (48) are in their 40s, Hairston is a 30-year-old Instagram fitness model who was reportedly dating an NFL player signed to the New York Giants in 2022. On the flip side, Lozado also notoriously dated NFL player Chad “Ocho Cinco” Johnson and The Game has dated women regardless of their age gap previously. This was the case of the Compton native’s 2018 fling with India Love, who would’ve been 18 at the time.

Though this appears to be the first sighting of the pair together, they already seem to be a favorite amongst the masses despite the age gap between them. In the comments of an IG post sharing photos from the alleged date, YG appeared to show his support for the couple writing, “Bompton n###s do it betta.”

What do y’all think—do we have a new couple alert or do we need to mind our business?

50 Cent Extends Offer To Taraji P. Henson After She Airs Her Hollywood Grievances

50 Cent wants to work with Taraji P. Henson. The G-Unit boss tried to recruit Henson after she spoke out about pay disparity in Hollywood and why she fired her team following her run on the FOX series Empire.

“They dropped the ball f### em @tarajiphenson,” 50 Cent wrote on Instagram. “I’m ready to work let’s get it! GLG GreenLightGang G-unit Film & TV.”

50 Cent reacted to comments made by Henson in an interview with the SAG-AFTRA Foundation. She criticized her former team for failing to capitalize on the success of her Empire character Cookie.

“Everybody had to f###### go,” Henson said. “Where is my deal? Where’s my commercial? Cookie was at the top of the fashion game. Where is my endorsement? What did you have set up for after this? That’s why you all haven’t seen me in so long. They had nothing set up.”

She continued, “All they wanted was another Cookie show, and I said, ‘I’ll do it, but it has to be right. The people deserve—she’s too beloved for y’all to f### it up.’ And so, when they didn’t get it right, I was like, ‘Well, that’s it,’ and they had nothing else. ‘You’re all f###### fired.”

Henson pulled no punches about her treatment in Hollywood during her latest press run. She tearfully discussed her lack of fair compensation in the industry in a SiriusXM interview with Gayle King.

“I’m just tired of working so hard, being gracious at what I do, getting paid a fraction of the cost,” Henson said. “I’m tired of hearing my sisters say the same thing over and over. You get tired. I hear people go, ‘You work a lot.’ I have to. The math ain’t mathing. And when you start working a lot, you have a team. Big bills come with what we do. We don’t do this alone. It’s a whole entire team behind us. They have to get paid.”

Henson most recently starred in a new adaptation of The Color Purple. The film hit theaters on Monday (December 25).
