Jamie Foxx Spotted In Public For First Time Since Hospitalization

Jamie Foxx was spotted in public for the first time since his hospitalization in April. In a video obtained by TMZ, the actor/singer is all smiles as he cruises in a boat on the Chicago River Sunday afternoon (July 9). Another boat rides by and greets Foxx, who promptly waves back. In a second clip, Foxx further engages with his fans as they cheer him on.

Jamie Foxx was rushed to the emergency room due to an undisclosed “medical complication.” An Instagram statement from Foxx’s daughter Corrine at the time read: “We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”

Since then, there’s been a lot of speculation on Foxx’s condition. Some “sources” claimed he was learning how to walk again, while others suggested the end was imminent. Foxx’s family was forced to confront some of the chatter directly.

“Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild,” an Instagram Story from Corrine read. “My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support! We have an exciting work announcement coming next week too!”

Despite her claims, Foxx still failed to surface in public—until now.

Carl Crawford Claims Erica Banks Owes Him $500,000

There appears to be some tension involving “Buss It” rapper Erica Banks and 1501 Certified Entertainment founder, Carl Crawford.

Late last month, Banks took to social media to announce she has seemingly parted ways with 1501 Certified Entertainment after joining the Houston-based label in 2019.

In addition to signing with 1501, Banks also finalized a deal with Warner Records two years ago. She released her 2022 studio album, Diary of the Flow Queen, via 1501 Entertainment under an exclusive license to Warner.

“I’m not with them anymore,” Banks wrote on Instagram in response to a fan suggesting the 24-year-old recording artist needed to leave Carl Crawford’s company in order to be more successful.

Then Erica Banks released the “Real Rap B#### (Poppin It)” single. That song features the Texas native rapping, “Don’t give a f### about that label, they see me/And they owe me some money, they greedy.”

Carl Crawford has reacted to Erica Banks’s recent comments and lyrics. While speaking with his followers on Instagram Live, Crawford addressed artists lashing out at their labels.

“It’s just part of the business,” Carl Crawford said. “I come from the sports world where one plus one equals two. In the music business, one plus one don’t equal two.”

Crawford added, “Erica’s not even making no money for me to take… I was just as surprised as y’all [were] to hear we’re greedy and stealing money. I’m still trying to figure that one out because last I checked we’re $500,000 in the hole with Warner. That’s all I know. So who owes who money?”

Additionally, Carl Crawford is involved in a legal battle with Grammy winner Megan Thee Stallion. After rising to international stardom, Megan reportedly requested to renegotiate her contract with 1501 Entertainment. The two sides have since been bogged down in pending lawsuits.

“The only reason why the one’s doing it is because the other one did it, so if the first one hadn’t took this route, the second wouldn’t have took this route,” said Crawford about Erica Banks and Megan Thee Stallion. “They only follow each other.”

Those white parties are generally lit. I think they’re an incredible opportunity to network and rub shoulders with the entertainment elite. Billionaire Michael Rubin has been the main person pushing these white parties these days. If you remember, back in the day, people like Sean “Diddy” Combs and Russell Simmons were the main people pushing white parties in the Hamptons. Those days are long gone now. In fact, some could say they were through with it before these new guys knew what to do with it. But that’s another story.

Anyway, the last white party showed a bunch of interesting images. One of those images had Lil Baby sandwiched between two guys, one of which was Michael Rubin. Based on the body language, he looked extremely uncomfortable. He had that nervous laugh that some of us know. I could be wrong, but that’s the consensus. Regardless, that hasn’t stopped him from hanging out with Michael Rubin. A recent video has Meek Mill and Lil Baby on a private jet with the billionaire consortium. In the video, Rubin promises more drunken hugs. By the way, it looks like Meek and Lil Baby are sharing a gray blanket. Not that anything is wrong with that.

EST Gee Launches Young Shiners Label

George “EST Gee” Stone III is officially stepping into an executive role in the music business. The “Lick Back” rapper announced the launch of his new Young Shiners record label.

EST Gee’s Young Shiners, powered by Sony’s Santa Anna service company, will feature a rap collective that includes EST Lil Zoski, EST Marti, EST DonWon, EST SkiMike, and EST Lu Mike. 

“It’s an exciting time,” states Santa Anna founder, Todd Moscowitz. “Propelling the creative potential and success as artists build their own ventures is at the helm of what Santa Anna is.”

Moscowitz also says, “We’re thrilled to be galvanizing that kind of support behind one of hip hop’s leading rappers and the burgeoning artists he’s looking to uplift.”  

EST Gee Wants To Help Elevate Louisville-Based Rappers

The Young Shiners crew all represent EST Gee’s hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. EST Gee has expressed that uplifting the Louisville rap scene is one of his personal missions.

“I feel like it’s my purpose,” says EST Gee. “You get to a point in your life where you just feel like you know what you were put here to do, and I think this is a major part of it.”

The Mad project creator continues, “And for me, that’s giving visibility to people who wouldn’t have had the chance otherwise. I’m grateful that Santa Anna saw the vision I have for us, it’s time for the world to see what we’re made of.”  

EST SkiMike Declares Young Shiners Can’t Be Messed With

Young Shiners will release the brand’s debut mixtape, Shiners Are Forever, on July 14 under the new venture. In addition, EST SkiMike recently dropped the project’s debut single “Disrespect.” The song arrived with a music video.

“We can’t be messed with in any shape or form ever,” declares EST SkiMike. “Our whole life the odds have been against us coming out of Louisville and Section 8. Shiners Are Forever and we ain’t ever going to stop shining.” 

EST Lu Mike also adds, “It’s deeper than music when it comes to us. We are a true family so trust and believe Shiners Are Forever.” Young Shiners leader EST Gee rose to prominence as an artist signed to Yo Gotti’s Collective Music Group. 2023’s Mad came out via CMG/Interscope Records.

Jermaine Dupri To Tell The Story Of ATL’s Magic City Strip Club With ‘American Fantasy’ Docuseries

Jermaine Dupri partnered with Cole Brown, Atlanta Hawks co-owner Jami Gertz, and Drake’s DreamCrew Entertainment to present the forthcoming three-part Magic City: An American Fantasy documentary series.

The Atlanta strip club known as Magic City is a cultural landmark in the Georgia capital. The nearly 40-year-old establishment also became well-known around the world thanks to its connection to Hip-Hop artists.

“Magic City is a second home for me. It’s the one place where celebrities, hustlers, politicians, and Atlanta locals all come together. I’ve watched it evolve over the years from a local joint to an internationally recognized spot. It’s about time we tell this story the right way,” says executive producer Jermaine Dupri.

An American Fantasy will explore Magic City’s history. In addition, the series features a look into the club’s founder Michael “Mr. Magic” Barney. It also covers some the women who have worked at the adult entertainment location.

“This is a unique story of Black entrepreneurship and empire-building in a city that is the beating heart of Black culture,” says series creator Cole Brown. “I’m ecstatic to be working with a team that will give this story the authenticity and platform it deserves.”

An American Fantasy will highlight the connection between Magic City and Hip-Hop stars like Jermaine Dupri, Future, and Migos. The Charles Todd-directed series will also include interviews with celebrities such as 2 Chainz, Nelly, Shaquille O’Neal, Quavo, Killer Mike, and Big Boi.

“The inner workings of Magic City and its prevalence in Hip-Hop are remarkably mysterious – it’s a wonder the story has yet to be told,” states The Neighbors actress and An American Fantasy executive producer Jami Gertz. “Atlanta is my adopted home and a place I’m looking forward to celebrating through this story.”

Drake has had to deal with homosexual jokes and allegations throughout most of his career. One of his latest moves re-ignited those sentiments, with some social media users seriously questioning his sexuality.

Images of Drake with pink-painted nails sparked heated conversations online. Critics called the Canadian superstar “gay,” “feminine,” and “corny” for his colored manicure. Even accused sex trafficker Andrew Tate reacted to Drake’s nail polish.

Lil Yachty has been one of the most high-profile people to weigh in on the fingernails topic. Yachty, a longtime unisex nail paint enthusiast, chose to playfully troll his “Oprah’s Bank Account” collaborator about the situation.

Over the weekend, Drake did a photo dump on Instagram that included pictures from his ongoing tour with 21 Savage. Then Lil Yachty jumped into the comment section to post, “Boy got them heavy hangers in his ear.”

In response, Drake wrote, “@lilyachty GET OUT MY COMMENTS YOU TOLD ME TO PAINT MY NAILS SO [I’D] STOP BITING THEM AND NOW THE WORLD IS BEING HOMOPHOBIC FOR THE 1st TIME SINCE RICH FLEX… which wasn’t that long ago now that I think about it… wait is the world homophobic? Smh.”

The collective internet clowned Drake for his chorus on the “Rich Flex” track off the Her Loss collaborative album alongside 21 Savage. “21, can you do somethin’ for me? Can you hit a lil’ rich flex for me?” became a meme that centered around the “Sassy Drake” character.

Lil Yachty returned to Drake’s Instagram comments. He offered the 5x-Grammy winner some advice by posting, “@champagnepapi woo-sah brother, your not supposed to have these episodes in public, it’s fine. They just don’t get u bro #UDIFFERENTAF‼️”

Meek Mill Says “Free Tory Lanez” At Rolling Loud Portugal

Philadelphia-bred rap star Meek Mill still seems to be in full support of Tory Lanez. Meek called for the currently incarcerated Canadian’s freedom during his set at Rolling Loud Portugal 2023.

Last December, a California jury found Tory Lanez guilty of assault with a semiautomatic handgun, having a loaded and unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and gross negligence in discharging his firearm. The case stemmed from the July 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion.

Three years ago, Megan Thee Stallion publicly named Tory Lanez as the person who shot her in the feet. Numerous public figures in Hip Hop culture questioned Megan’s story as the trial played out.

Despite Tory Lanez reportedly facing over 20 years in prison and possible deportation, Meek Mill still sides with him. The two men worked together on songs such as “Litty” and “Lord Knows.”

While performing “Litty” at Rolling Loud Portugal, Meek Mill told the crowd, “Free Tory Lanez.” Footage of Meek’s positive declaration sparked some backlash after it spread across social media.

Meek Mill’s longtime antagonist, DJ Akademiks, recently expressed skepticism about Tory Lanez’s conviction. Former Meek rival, Drake, also used his 2022 track “Circo Loco” to suggest Megan Thee Stallion lied about the shooting.

Tory Lanez (born Daystar Peterson) still awaits sentencing in Los Angeles County. After the jury’s verdict, Lanez’s family pushed an unproven conspiracy theory as a way to maintain his innocence. His relatives claimed that Megan’s management agency, Roc Nation, somehow manipulated the court and the press.

“I want to start by highlighting the bravery of Megan Pete,” stated Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón in a press release published last December following the court case.

Gascón continued, “You showed incredible courage and vulnerability with your testimony despite repeated and grotesque attacks that you did not deserve. You faced unjust and despicable scrutiny that no woman should ever face and you have been an inspiration to others across LA County and the nation.”

Dave & Central Cee’s “Sprinter” Becomes Longest-Reigning No. 1 In U.K. Rap History

Dave and Central Cee continue to make history, dominating the U.K. charts with their first-ever collaboration, “Sprinter.” 

The powerhouse duo released the track as the lead single from their joint EP, Split Decision, on (June 1) and have been racking up the accolades ever since. The British pair broke records when they debuted at No. 1 on the U.K. chart, clinching the biggest opening week of the year so far with 108,200 chart units, including a record-breaking 13.4 million streams.  

The track earned the biggest week of streams for a rap song ever in U.K. chart history. “Sprinter” beat out Stormzy’s 2019 hit “Vossi Bop” and Lil Nas X’s viral sensation “Old Town Road” to take the title. 

After achieving a fifth week atop the charts, Dave and Central Cee have broken another record, with Santan beating his own feat. “Sprinter” has become the longest reigning No. 1 in U.K. rap, surpassing Dave’s “Starlight” and “Dance Wiv Me” by Dizzee Rascal. 

They fought off Olivia Rodrigo’s “Vampire” in a tight battle for the top spot this week, which also saw Drake and J-Hus’s collab, “Who Told You,” drop to No. 3.

“Sprinter” retained its position after gaining over eight million streams this week, repeating their feat of having the most-streamed track in the U.K. and becoming one of the biggest songs of the year so far in the country.  

Dave and Central Cee performed the track for the first time at the Glastonbury festival last month. The baby from the “Sprinter” visual made a surprise appearance in Cench’s arms onstage.

Jay-Z let loose with his newly married mother at a recent Renaissance show and was filmed doing the Electric Slide while Beyoncé performed.  

The show has become quite the family affair, with his and Beyoncé’s daughter Blue Ivy joining the dancers for part of the performance. Jay-Z has been spotted in the crowd across various cities, beaming with pride at his daughter and nodding his head along to his wife’s hits. 

Unlike his daughter, Hov rarely busts a move and stays pretty cool and composed during the shows. However, when the crowd began doing the Electric Slide at one tour pit stop, Jay-Z knew he had to follow the rules and get in formation.  

The Roc Nation founder held a champagne glass in one hand as he danced next to his mother. While he was happy to dance alongside his mom, he wasn’t pleased at being recorded. When he spotted a fan filming him, Jay-Z raised a finger motioning him to stop. 

Not wanting to upset Hov, they stopped recording immediately. The fan shared the clip, adding, “Caught Jay-Z on 4k but then he caught me.”

Although Jay-Z isn’t a dancer and is hardly ever spotted dancing on camera, he made an exception for the Electric Slide.

Winnie Harlow was determined not to cause controversy while attending Usher’s Las Vegas residency show with her NBA star boyfriend Kyle Kuzma over the weekend, following the viral mess Keke Palmer’s baby daddy found himself in recently. 

The model was sitting alongside her man when Usher began making the rounds through the crowd looking for a woman to serenade as part of his usual routine. However when he ventured toward Winnie Harlow, she immediately jumped into her boyfriend’s lap.

Sharing a clip of the moment on her Instagram Stories, Winne Harlow claimed she had the “cheat code” to avoid any Usher-related drama.

Drake Splurges $10,000 A Minute After Ignoring Curfew On It’s All A Blur Tour

Drake spared no expense to ensure his Detroit fans got the full It’s All A Blur Tour experience after running overtime this weekend.  

Drizzy and 21 Savage kicked off their joint tour last week (July 5) in Chicago and have been performing in packed-out stadiums ever since. However, the shows have been eventful, and not all have run to schedule, as was the case when the duo pulled up to the Motor City Saturday. 

The superstar rapper had a hefty fine to pay after running over the time limit. He halted the show mid-song to announce just how much the oversight would set them back.  

“It’s $10,000 a minute to stay in this building past curfew,” Drake told the Detroit crowd. However, despite the eye-watering penalty, he didn’t want to disappoint his fans and was determined that the show must go on.  

“I don’t give a f###. We’re doing this whole song, let’s go,” he added before getting right back into the number.  

According to concert-goers, Drake performed for 23 minutes past curfew, racking up a mammoth $23,000.  

Earlier in the show, Drake had fans going crazy after sharing an update about his upcoming project, For All The Dogs. After announcing it last month, the OVO honcho revealed his Young Money collaborator and longtime friend Nicki Minaj will be making a special guest appearance on the album.  

“I’m gonna give away one thing for you tonight, because I got a lot of love for Detroit,” Drake teased. “So I’m gonna have to tell you that me and Nicki Minaj did our first song together in, like, a really long time. I got a lot of love for her. Okay. Let me just assess the t###### tonight, and then, we’ll get to the most important part.”

Nicki Minaj was living out her “Barbie Dreams” at the Los Angeles premiere of the new Warner Bros movie on Sunday (July 9). 

The “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” hitmaker, who’s featured on the Barbie Soundtrack alongside Ice Spice with “Barbie World,” looked every inch the living doll on the pink carpet. She donned a pale purple crop top and skirt set with a thigh-high slit with calf-length flowing blonde tresses. 

The crowd cheered wildly as Nicki Minaj posed for the cameras before being joined by Margot Robbie, the film’s star. The two posed for the camera but not before Robbie made sure the rapper’s hair looked perfect.

Nicki Minaj later reflected on the “full circle” moment, having made Barbie a part of her brand throughout her career.  

“I’m so excited to be here and be part of this entire moment,” she told Entertainment Tonight before expressing her gratitude for being part of the movie. “I’ve been saying Barbie my whole career so it’s a very full circle moment for me.”

Meanwhile, Margot Robbie opened up about having her own fantasy moment after meeting the rapper. 

“Oh my god, that was iconic. I’m dying,” she gushed during a pink-carpet interview with Variety. “I’m gonna have to take a minute later to be like, ‘Wow, I actually just got a picture with Nicki Minaj.” 

Chika Hospitalized With Kidney Failure—But Trolls Have Their Own Theories

Chika has been hospitalized in Los Angeles after suffering kidney failure. According to an Instagram post from the Warner Music Group artist, it marks the second time she’s needed medical attention in the last 30 days.

The 26-year-old shared a handful of photos of herself in a hospital gown on Sunday (July 9) with the caption, “Been in the ICU twice in the past month and it’s so friggin boring that i have resorted to taking prison photos. enjoy. album in a couple- a weekz.” She added, “Before any stupid ass clingons start yapping about karma, I hope you know you’re saying chronically ill people did something to deserve getting sick. shut the f### up.”

Some of her “fans” were quick to offer their own theories. One person asked, “Is that a Psych Ward??? Honestly glad that you finally decided to get help,” while another hypothesized, “U got checked in because u were [cutting] urself.” Another added, “You know people in the icu wouldn’t be able to do this right? You’re in the ward.” That’s when CHIKA hopped in and argued, “You know you can spend 3 days in ICU and then get moved to the regular floor right? d######.” She also revealed, “please shut the f### up, i had kidney failure.”

Chika has been honest about her mental health and medical issues over the years. In March 2022, she admitted she was struggling with suicidal thoughts and was close to following through. Taking to Instagram, Chika confessed, “I went to the top of the intercontinental, but could not jump. not because i don’t want to, but because the metal stairs were scary. it looks like crying wolf, but it’s not. it’s just difficult to find the right way. the quickest way. the painless way. i am tired of myself too.”

The Alabama native has also run into trouble on social media. Last month, she was forced to issue an apology to her Twitter followers after a dramatic red-eye flight. As she explained, she was peacefully asleep in first-class when she was suddenly awakened by allegedly screaming children.

“The lady next to me who thought it would be a good idea to buy yourself and your twin infants first class seats on a red eye flight, who just woke me up by bringing your screaming bastard to OUR seats to soothe her, I just bought $34 wifi at 4am to call you a stupid b####,” she wrote. “P.S. I hate you and hope you get a paper cut between each finger tomorrow, you senseless w####. Like are you literally mentally delayed? What makes you think a 1 y/o will shut their b#### ass up on a 7 hour flight that takes off at ONE F###### AYE EM. You ALREADY had them up past bedtime. Idc the circumstance. Take yo ass to economy at LEAST.”

She ultimately wrote a statement to Twitter, saying, “Posting because I think it’s important & because I understand that people who actually do want to support me were also offended by my inflammatory thread yesterday. I’m sorry cuz it was triggering/infuriating to many. I just don’t like being seen as someone I’m not.”

Teenager Busted For Mozzy Concert Mass Shooting; Cops Hunting For Second Suspect

A new development has emerged in the investigation of the mass shooting at a concert featuring rapper Mozzy. 

A 19-year-old named Ameir Jayshon King-Ingram has been arrested in connection with the incident that left 11 people injured at the Wichita nightclub, City Nightz.

Another 23-year-old man named Jaylen Thomas of Wichita is also wanted in connection to the shooting at City Nightz and the cops are asking the public’s help in tracking him down. 

The shooting, which occurred in the early hours of July 2, resulted in nine people being shot and two others injured in the ensuing panic. 

The Wichita Police Department (WPD) confirmed King-Ingram’s arrest, stating that he is suspected of two counts of aggravated battery and one count of criminal possession of a firearm by a felon.

Previously, a security guard working for Mozzy, Brandon Young, was arrested concerning the incident. 

However, he was later released after Sedgwick County District Attorney Marc Bennett stated that charges would not be filed against him at this time, citing video evidence suggesting he had acted in self-defense.

The WPD has expressed its expectation that further arrests will be made as the investigation continues. 

It remains unclear whether King-Ingram is one of the initial gunmen involved in the shooting.

The incident has sparked a city-wide conversation about safety in Wichita’s nightlife scene, with WPD Chief Joe Sullivan calling for stricter screening procedures at clubs. 

The WPD has also contacted the Kansas Department of Revenue’s Alcoholic Beverage Control to discuss possible enforcement actions regarding City Nightz’s licensing.

Following the incident, City Nightz has been issued a 30-day suspension, a decision the club’s attorney has stated they plan to appeal. 

This suspension is part of a broader response to the recurring violence at the venue, which has seen 12 incidents so far in 2023, three involving gun violence.

Flavor Flav has issued a warning to concert goers. With the uptick in objects being thrown at performers, the Public Enemy legend hopped on Twitter to ream offenders. He wrote, “STOP this f###ing s###. “It’s HARD WORK giving 100%…100% of the time for hours to entertain the fans. Don’t make it harder and don’t ruin it for everyone. I watched Harry Styles during rehearsals at the Grammys. Homeboy just tryin to make y’all happy.”

Flav included a clip of the incident, which shows the pop singer getting hit in the eye by an unidentified object while performing in Vienna. In a fan-captured video, the former One Direction member is heading down the runway with his microphone when he’s accosted. He winces in pain, bends over and covers his eye with his hands.

The disturbing new trend has plagued headlining artists in recent weeks. The issues began last month in New York, when pop singer Bebe Rexha was smacked in the face with a cellphone. The person responsible for the assault was arrested. Rexha’s injuries were relatively serious and required stitches at a nearby hospital. She later addressed the incident on Instagram, writing simply, “I’m good” alongside a photo of herself battered and bruised.

P!NK, on the other hand, was the recipient of a strange item. While performing at London’s Hyde Park Festival two weeks ago, someone tossed a bag of human ashes near her feet. In a video of the bizarre event, P!NK picks up the plastic bag in singing “Just Like a Pill.” Speaking directly to an audience member, she asked, “Is this your mom? I don’t know how to feel about this.”

As for Flavor Flav, the 64-year-old has been vocal on social media lately. On Friday morning (July 7), Flavor Flav shared a screenshot to Instagram with the headline: “Flavor Flav Says Iconic Clock Necklace Was Inspired By A ‘Crackhead.’”

He added in the caption: “FROM FLAVOR FLAV HIMSELF. Whoever wrote this headline is a complete A##HOLE!!! If you read the story, I never said the crackhead inspired the clock. I said THAT MY BOY BAZERK PUT THE CLOCK AROUND MY NECK AS A JOKE!! that’s were the inspiration came From. NOT THE CRACKHEAD you a##hole writer GET IT RIGHT.”

Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B has once again made some people’s eyeballs pop out of their heads with her audacious antics, this time in the romantic city of Paris.

Cardi B posted a montage of videos to her 168 million followers, including one twerking in front of the iconic Eiffel Tower, a spectacle that has since sparked a flurry of reactions from fans and critics alike.

Cardi B also included a racy video of herself twerking in a bathtub full of bubbles, wearing nothing but a thong.

The candid video, taken in the privacy of her bathroom, showcases the rapper’s bare bottom and has since garnered millions of likes and comments from fans and followers.

“My jaw dropped at the slow twerk in the tub clip,” one stunned user wrote, while another commented, “Twerking naked in the tub for the world to see just to promote a song that’s not doing well,” said another upset viewer, referring to Cardi’s new song “Point Me 2” with FendiDa Rappa.

However, the Bardi Gang seemed to support their leader with a flood of positive comments.

“Idk if I wanna be the water or her thong,” said one thirsty commenter, while her husband praised his wife with a series of heart emojis.

Speaking of Offset, The City of Love also served as the backdrop for a significant development in Cardi B’s personal life.

Amid her husband’s accusations of infidelity, the couple appeared to reconcile in Paris after they attended the Balenciaga Haute Couture together in a show of solidarity. 

Offset had accused his wife of cheating in a now-deleted social media post, a claim that Cardi B has vehemently denied. Despite the controversy, the couple seemed to have found common ground in Paris.

Master P was misidentified as Luther Vandross on Google last week, prompting the internet to run wild with jokes. But the No Limit boss isn’t worried about it—he’s more concerned with selling his cereal. TMZ recently caught up with Master P outside of a Walmart, where Snoop Dogg’s cereals are sold. He thinks Google owes him a favor following the gaffe.

“I know everybody’s trippin,” he said. “Google thought it was funny mixing me up. Ditch the picture Google. Stop letting A.I. run your company. I just wonder what would they put for [TMZ founder] Harvey Levin, like Bruce Willis or something?

“They made a whole big frenzy and made this go viral, but make this go viral ‘cause we gotta put money back into our community and our culture. It’s flattering though, to be honest with you. They tried to distract the people, but we disrupted the cereal game. Two guys come from Hip-Hop—me and Snoop.”

Master P reveled his plans for a grocery store takeover during an interview with AllHipHop in May.

“When you talk about Snoop Cereal, this is bigger than just cereal,” Master P said “I know a lot of people may ask, they want to talk about the ingredients, how it started. Me and Snoop believed in putting out brands that could feed our culture and feed our people. I grew up eating cereal. I grew up on WIC. We are able to sell at WIC now, and it’s all about adding diversity into the grocery stores.

“We don’t all own brands like this. And it’s so important because we grew up eating these products. But we got to stop the self-hate amongst each other when we talk about African-American-owned brands and give us the opportunity to get on those shelves because Snoop Cereal is bigger. The brand is all about trying to tackle homelessness, give back to a community and a culture, and rebuild and put economic empowerment into our community.”

‌Kim Kardashian learned the art of grace from her late father, Robert Kardashian.

‌While speaking to Vogue Italia, the reality star opened up about her memories of her late dad, who passed away in 2003 while he was working as a defense lawyer.

“I saw how he worked on a specific case, and I would observe him,” Kim, 42, recalled of Robert. “I learned grace from my dad and how to be really calm and collected, and I think I definitely am that way a lot as well.”

The Skims founder continued, “He would say: ‘Hey, come over here, we need to talk about this.'”

Kim then noted that her mother, Kris Jenner, was often not as graceful when handling family drama.

“When my mom would get mad, it would be quite funny because she couldn’t get our names straight. She would scream at me and be like: ‘Kourtney, Kylie, really, whatever your name is, get over here!'” she remembered.

The Kardashians star’s father was a lawyer who gained recognition as a member of O.J. Simpson’s defense team during the sportsman’s notorious 1995 murder trial.

Following in her father’s footsteps, Kim has been studying to become a lawyer herself. She famously worked on the case of Alice Marie Johnson, who was freed from a life sentence in prison in 2018.

Rapper Casanova has officially appealed his 15-year prison sentence, according to his lawyer, James Kousouros.

‌The appeal was filed on July 7, 2023, challenging the lengthy sentence handed down by Judge Philip M. Halpern on June 27, 2023.‌

Casanova, a prominent figure in the Hip-Hop community, was sentenced to 188 months (15 years) behind bars for his involvement in a comprehensive RICO case that surfaced in 2020.

The rapper and his gang, the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation, were implicated in a series of crimes, including drug trafficking, violent assaults, and the murder of a 15-year-old boy in Upstate New York.

‌U.S. Attorney Damian Williams described Casanova as “not just a notorious recording artist” but “a high-profile leader of a vicious street gang and a magnet for gang violence.”

‌Williams added that Casanova’s stature was central to Gorilla Stone’s successful recruitment and nationwide expansion. Initially, the rapper was charged with racketeering conspiracy, attempted murder, intent to manufacture and distribute controlled substances, and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.

‌However, Casanova pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to conduct and participate in the affairs of a criminal enterprise through a pattern of racketeering activity and one count of conspiracy to distribute over 100 kilograms of marijuana.

To reduce his sentence, Casanova renounced his membership in the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation and expressed his desire to dissociate from the gang. 

This public repudiation led to an attack on him within the confines of Essex County Jail on June 14, where he suffered injuries necessitating stitches on his head and hands.

Kousouros argued that Casanova’s public repudiation of the gang threatened his life and pressed for a lighter sentence for his client. Despite these arguments, the judge sentenced the rapper to over 15 years.

Beyoncé’s Mother Tina Knowles Robbed For $1 Million In Cash During Bold Break-In

Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, was reportedly the victim of a recent robbery. According to TMZ, the thieves broke into her Los Angeles estate and made off with safe containing $1 million in cash and jewelry. The break-in was discovered on Wednesday morning (July 5) when someone from Knowles’ team stopped by the home. Knowles was out of town when the crime took place. Police are currently looking for video in the area that could possibly give them some leads.

Knowles’ home has been targeted before. In April, the Los Angeles Police Department were dispatched to her residence after receiving a call about a disturbance. Evidently, a man was at the front of the house throwing rocks at her mailbox. When units arrived—including a helicopter—the suspect immediately took off. The helicopter, however, was able to track him down and he was arrested after a brief foot pursuit.

Law enforcement placed the man on a 5150 hold due to his erratic behavior, but Knowles refused to press charges or file a report over the minor damage to her mailbox.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z have also had their own issues with some of their property. In March 2021, someone broke into Beyoncé’s storage units in L.A. and made off with more than $1 million in valuables. The three pods were filled with the singer’s expensive handbags and dresses. They’d been rented out by her production company, Parkwood Entertainment. After hitting it once, burglars returned a few days later for another heist.

Vandals struck again in March 2022 when a man broke into Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s New Orleans home. He reportedly doused the place with fuel, set fire to the drapes and fled. There was video of a man starting a fire, but investigators didn’t arrest him at the time. The famous couple was not living in the home when the fire occurred.
